He said, no, that's just yours. I said, sorry, excuse me.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
And I was like, I'm you know, I'm doing okay,
And I'm like, I can't, you know, I sincerely think
about people, you know, not doing great right now.

He'll be Mary Mary Mary, Mary will be okay because
Alex is here today. Of course some Manti Bilanos is

to tell, you know, Rob G and Kelvin was that
Manzi little voice work for mlbbro dot com?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yes, looking for Rob G? Shaking his head? What I thought?
Y'all stood for something? All right? We do not the
dude coming up soon? Right?
Speaker 4 (04:23):
No?
Speaker 5 (04:24):
No all white version. Then I'm gonna higher Calvin and
see how that goes back with everybody.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
No, you know, I heard the voice and I thought maybe,
But then I saw him and I said, holy, Cal's
he's black?
Speaker 2 (04:36):
Are you kidding?
Speaker 4 (04:37):
My wife used to get that all the time when
I was on the radio Detroit. Oh, so your husband's
Jewish would be like what you you you are. No,
that's what that's what they would ask her. Is your
husband Jewish?
Speaker 2 (04:49):
I'm not convinced you're not a part of the tribe,
are you not? Let me ask Mike Stone.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
You gotta have the bones, you gotta have the structure.
I'm part of the chosen people. You want to say that, right, Okay,
you are? And of course Elijah, who's our social media guru,
Elijah never heard of, who does one of the best
jobs on social media. And thanks to all the people
who follow our social media.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah, we all listen.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Listen, toube all that people enjoy what we're doing, brother,
and so I don't take that lightly, nor do you.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
So we appreciate you for rocking with us.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Told you I'm random text messages from people and random
d ms and all that stuff. So you've seen some
of the to share with you, like, you know, some
good stuff. Big folks being joined us and every day
for everybody. All right, let's let's go here. Who we
get into first?
Speaker 4 (05:31):
To start with the Bill Belichick, Rob g set the
table because we had two stories. Today was the first one, right,
he was reporting that his girlfriend what do you call
a what do you call like the young girl. Like,
you know, if it's a guy for an older woman's boy,
what do you call a young girl that his mistress?
(05:54):
Pretty young thing, p yt.
Speaker 2 (05:58):
Slash publicists exactly.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Anyway, we woke up with the first story saying that
North Carolina had banned her with a capital B from
the football facility, and then all of a sudden they
came out with a statement, rob g.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
So just get us up to speed and then we'll
get into that. That's right.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
Friday Morning podcast hosts ESPN Alump Pablo Tory.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
Revealed interviews Tori shot it was yes, sorry, yam, sorry
about that, reveal interviews with numerous sources quote that are
close to the Belichick family to discuss that what they're
calling a controversial relationship between Bill Belichick, the head coach,
(06:37):
and Jordan Hudson, including claims, according Torre, that Hudson had
become such a problem around North Carolina that she had
been banned from the university facilities.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
Torrey had to quote, there is deep worry for how
detrimental Jordan can be, not just for North Carolina, but
builds legacy and reputation. And that had been out for
two or three hours and then the unc says, no, no, no,
We're put a full on statement out. It says, while
Jordan Hudson is not an employee University of University of
North Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina football facilities.
(07:13):
Jordan will continue to manage all activities related to coach
Balichick's personal brand outside of his responsibilities with the football program.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Calvin, all I'm gonna do is I'm gonna get back
to what I told you a week or ten days
ago when we first talked about it.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
Yeah, North Carolina should just cut bait like this is
already You could see what's happening here that they need
to put out a statement for someone who's a non employee.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Who has nothing to do with football.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Why in the world would the university have to put
out a statement about somebody's girlfriend who is not an employee.
That tells you already where this is headache. And I
know a couple from tomm are like, Rob, you're crazy,
you can't. You're gonna fire, I mean, fire a guy
before you even coach one game or whatever.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, if you realize you made a mistake and it's
not what you were looking for. When they hired Bill Belichick,
the Bill Belichick in New England. You didn't hear Pete
from very quiet with the reporters barely.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
You can barely get anything out of him, right, It
was it was totally like pulling teeth to get this
guy to be interesting and have any kind of a pulse.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Am I right?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
No?
Speaker 2 (08:30):
You're right?
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Now, all of a sudden, he's got a book out,
he's got a young girlfriend, this and that, he's got
a pushback on a CBS interview. He had to put
out a statement for that. Now he's putting that. Now
he's got the university putting out a statement. Who's even
saying she don't work here, but she work here. That's
what they said, she don't work here, but she work here?
Speaker 2 (08:51):
What really? I get it? North Carolina?
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Your football you're a basketball school and football is secondary. Okay,
but you hired this guy, legendary coach. I just don't
believe that this is what they were looking for. It's
a bad look on the university. It's just bad all around.
And if I'm a parent of a recruit, he's a
legendary coach, he's dating who?
Speaker 2 (09:16):
What really? Yeah, he's a leader of.
Speaker 4 (09:21):
Men a grown man who's going around with a girl,
a young woman who could date one of the players.
That's the guy I'm gonna look up to and have
respect to.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Come on, it's the irony to me run so thick, Rob,
I mean, this is the guy who, again no distractions
were on the Cincinnati. This is the guy who ran
the show similar to a military I mean, we didn't
even know Tom Brady had a personality till he finally
left Tampa Bay, till he left up there in New England.
This is the guy who was big on no distractions football, football, football,
(09:53):
and yet here you are. This is why I'm bringing
him in if I'm unc I'm bringing him in for
these things, to set the standard for these things. Because
young guys as me, you, Sam and Rob Wall know,
when you're young, you're dumb and you're doing stupid things.
You're full of distractions, You're full of lack of focus.
So the guy I'm supposed to bring it in who
(10:13):
is issuing out these things, having people locked in on
these things, is now nothing but a distraction.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Who's doing interviews with holes in his shirt.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Still at no point, Bill put on a polo, put
on a button down, put on a button down bill,
but now you want to be on here and I Garret,
let mean I say guarantee you. I would think that
she understands branding and says, hey, you wearing the holes
in your shirt is what you've been doing, the holes
and hoodies, and stick to the brand. Stick to the brand.
As she's running running and being his publicist. And again
(10:46):
you're allowed today who you want to date. But that
doesn't mean there aren't issues that a university can take
with this. Right, you can do that whatever you want,
but just know we have issues with that. Public can say, hey,
legally you can do what you want, but the public
opinion is, well that seems a little strange, but.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
That but that's the reason that in these big contracts
with a lot of money, there are more clauses. I
was just explaining at the barbershop. People don't understand that legality, right,
It's just like, this is what you agree to when
you sign this million dollar contrast.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Set It's not legality, it's what we feel could be
morally wrong or set this organization or in this case,
or university back. And again it also may lead to
them having because he have questionable judgment.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
Can we talk about Trevor Bauer, like teams are dying
for pitching. Okay, if you're to Baltimore or the teams
that are not, and they still just they rather not
because they don't rather not. We don't want you to
wear our uniform.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
We'd rather not. You can pitch. Nobody saying you can't.
We'd rather not. And that's the thing.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Bill Belichick doesn't have to be a bad guy. She
doesn't have to be the worst girl in the world
or anything like that. It could just be that something
doesn't seem right to the university or to folks, or
to to as you know, board of directors at schools,
and they say, ah, we're dealing with a bunch of
young people, and our leader, who's in his seventies is
dating someone young. We could have parents who are concerned
(12:11):
on campus. It could just be a thing that we
don't want to have to deal with before he's his
team is second one snap.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
I could already see like an issue like.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Players trying to hit on her, like you know, like
like the stuff that could start coming out and all
these kind.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Of stories and somebody, I'm not gonna point any pins.
I'm pointing at Rob Gi. It's shaking her head, probably
saying what's wrong with his day? He can day who
he wants today. He can can, he absolutely can. But
what can't happen is that she become the headlines because
if this were one of his players, they would think
about what disciplining him if he were having issues. If
(12:49):
one of the players was having issues and there was
drama surrounding relationships and all of that, there could be
potential punishment.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
And that's just the fact.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
So for your leader, who has an even coach the
game yet to be having all of this pressure and
eyes on the university for anything but football, you can
understand why that would be detrimental to them. So it's
not about can he legally date someone who can tell
you whatever your day he wants. It's that for the
guy who ran his entire organization on no distractions, focused
(13:18):
locked in be the Patriots' way, that didn't carry down
south to North Carolina, no.
Speaker 2 (13:23):
Doubt, and that's what they thought they would get it.
Take that rod Gie all.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Right eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven
seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Real Easy
is unc already regretting hiring Bill Belichick and should they
get ahead of this and just fire him, Just say,
you know what, Bill, we thought about it. This ain't
really gonna work out. I think you're in a different
(13:47):
place in your life than what we were looking for.
And it's okay, there's no Hardlands. Might even have to
pay him, you know whatever, it is right exactly. We'll
continue that conversation next with you. It is the Odd Couple,
Rob Parker on Kelvin Washington on a Funky Flashback Friday,
right here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
And you know what you need to do, stick and
stay unless you regret making certain hiring decisions in the USFA.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Uh don't you no Now? I see what you did there, Sam,
pretty young thing.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
I did. Bring it up. Don't be paying attention when
I'll be bringing u up. Sam.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
It is the Odd Couple. He's Rob up Kelvin on
a Funky flash Back Friday. Thanks for hanging with you boys.
For over forty years, tire Rack has been helping customers
find the right tires for how, what and where they drive.
Ship Fast and free back by free Road has a
protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation tire
rack dot Com is the way tire buying should be,
(14:58):
all right? Bill Belichick in the news, we got conflicting
reports and one end there he is his girlfriend, his man.
The other one she's not. The schools saying she can
do what she wants and be as public as we
don't care. Is it detrimental to the school. Is it
detrimental to him as the leader being the new head coach?
Unc Rob and I have some issues with what's going
on there? Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox Who
(15:20):
we got all right? Tem Money in Tucson, Arizona. You're
on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up
Team Money?
Speaker 7 (15:26):
Hey, gentlemen, Bill Walls, coach Stanford after the Niners gig.
Nobody really remembers that. But Bill wasn't dating a twenty.
Speaker 4 (15:34):
Five year old either.
Speaker 7 (15:35):
Like the age difference kind of creaked me out, Like, yeah,
you could do whatever he wants. He was like in
his fifties when.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
She was ten.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
I'm not here for that.
Speaker 7 (15:42):
Oh my god, Hey, North Carolina needs to go the
Patriot away with Bill. I mean, Bill is kind of unraveling.
He doesn't care one way or the other. Like dude's
collecting a paycheck but in unc if you want to
do that, go ahead and do that.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
But Tim Money, I'm with you, Like what are they doing?
Like this is this is like a university young people, impressionable.
It just doesn't go. It doesn't seem like it jobs.
Now here's a question. Let's get to a call. I'll
save it. I'll save it. I'll save if we've got time,
I'll get to this. All right.
Speaker 4 (16:12):
Uh, let's go to Uh Matt in Los Angeles. You're
on the Odd Couple Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 8 (16:18):
What's up, Matt, Hey, I love the show. You want
to say, I agree, she's a big distraction. That's kind
of a mess. But in this specific case, I think
you and he did the right thing right because if
they're saying there's no truth to what was on the podcast,
then you have to say something right and you can't.
I think it's the kind unfair to say, well, look
(16:38):
it's a distraction because they're having to comment on this.
I mean if someone said if I wrote if I
had a podcast and I said, oh, Robin Calvin or
doing something at Fox Bad, and Fox Can said no,
no truth at all. When you want them to.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Say that, no, no, no, no, you don't. You don't
have to respond to everything. You can't. You just can't
seriously like a national figure podcast.
Speaker 8 (16:59):
I mean, Poblatory is pretty well known.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
I get it. I get it.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
I think the issue with it, and it's a good call,
mat but I think the issue is there may be
where there's smoke there's fire in a sense that maybe
there's a little bit of extra sauce on the idea
that she was in certain meetings and everything and you know,
trying to handle certain things. But maybe there is something
to that that she's doing too much on campus, too
involved with the team, or distracting Bill when you thought
(17:26):
you were gonna get all of Bill. So I think
there is one of those where there could be smoked
fire and that maybe she's not sitting in meetings at
the East well drawn up the plays or anything, but
could be something where they're like, we didn't sign.
Speaker 9 (17:37):
Up for this.
Speaker 2 (17:38):
It defends.
Speaker 4 (17:39):
But even in this, this is my point, even in
like lawsuits for maybe some television network or whatever. They
don't always comment on the legal you like the being
so they don't comment on it. They'll just say, you know,
like we won't have a comment or a nabatigation exactly.
(18:00):
And I'm just saying, and I get it, but you
can't respond to everything. And the idea that you even
have to put out a press release to somebody who's
not an employee is already a problem.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
That's what.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
And I mean just's even small things, rob G. Why
you keep shaking your head. If I put out a book,
Rob G, Let's say Rob Park and I do a
show for another twenty years.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
And if I put out a book and Rob Gui
beat up the other, let me switch it again. I'll
be the sourcing that.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Rob G.
Speaker 1 (18:28):
You're me and you've worked together twenty and I made
to put out a book, and I don't mention you
about my whole coaching staff and all that meaning Robert
Craft in this case, you don't think that's a distraction,
meaning it's gonna.
Speaker 4 (18:38):
Become a topic. We're gonna talk about it, and it's yeah,
that's fine, but that's football. I'm just talking about.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Here's where I'm going with things, like some of the
moves to me. You know what's about to happen. You're
released single book before we're getting ready to get in
the season. You're released single book where we know Robert
Krafts not in the book books paid you for twenty
five days of it. But which is fine. And I'm
not saying these things in and of themselves are bad.
But what I'm saying is, you're releasing a book right
now when we got out the checks. You're doing it,
(19:03):
Robert Covern. You're wearing a hoodie with all the holes
in it, and then you have your your lady, your
girlfriend there and she's running things. All these things lead
to well, that doesn't seem like the tip the leader
we thought we were bringing, is all I'm saying. I
can see why you and see we say that's not
the leader I thought I was bringing.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
I got you Nash in Little Rock, Arkansas. Are you're
on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio? What's up, Nash?
Speaker 9 (19:26):
What's up? How you save matters? I'm strong out here.
I'm strong out here. I won't let y'all know that
UNC is secretly loving this. This is an unexpected benefit
when it's the last time they've been relevant on the
national scale.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
Is that what this is?
Speaker 4 (19:43):
Is this how you're relevant because you're talking about a
seventy year old man dating a twenty four year old
that's the relevancy you want.
Speaker 9 (19:51):
One hundred percent. Any attention is good attention when it's
not involved and illegal or some kind of text crime. Uh,
these guys are gonna go ahead and see if they
can profit off this reality TV world that would now
live here because they're not gonna win a national championship anyway.
The last player I remember that from there that put
(20:12):
on the gold jacket with Julius Pepper. These guys just
I mean, this was the last ditch effort anyway with
Bill Belichick. So they're just gonna roll with it, and
whenever he gets tired, they'll they'll they'll try and hire
someone else and hopefully they think they might have tracked
a few really nice.
Speaker 1 (20:29):
Here's where I disagree with you, Nash. Here's where I
disagree with you. I disagree with you because I think
there's a lot of banking on it. You literally bankroll
with they're paying Bill Belichick because you're banking on players
understanding that this could be a pipeline to the NFL
you get the best players. And if all of this
becomes too much and it becomes a hassle and you
have to either let Bill go or he chooses to
just say, you know what, I'm just gonna move on
because this is a distraction. Now you're you're losing what
(20:52):
you were excited about bringing in, which was Bill. And
even if he was only going to be there for
a couple of years, just the fact that he was there,
his team is there. The guy's put in place that
you might be creating a popline and now that may
not be the case. So I hear you on the
all publicity being good, but I just think your ultimate
game plan may now be destructed.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
Possibly. That's my point with that.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
All Right, we got a really good conversation, a little
baseball conversation to be had, just a moment, but right
now we gotta get you set one trending.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
That's why Manci Bilanios is here.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Jes see I Come.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Robin Kelvin on the Funky Flashback Friday. Thank you for
hanging with your boys. You can be anywhere else, but
you are here with us looking forward to of course
this game, getting ready to get started. Game three in
this Pacers and Cavaliers series should be a good one.
Uh yeah, you wanna you wanna to ask a question here?
Huh about your guy?
Speaker 2 (21:52):
What is not my god? I get you blessing? Why
you blessing?
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Because he's not my guy. It's just somebody that I cover.
That's oh yeah, I love it when you try to
act no. But uh, it's funny because I was on
MLB Network on what was that Thursday, and we had
talked about show hey plateauing that is numbers and when
he starts to pitch, they're gonna go down even more,
(22:16):
right because he's gonna miss different Yeah, you know you
gotta you gotta pitch. And then there's a day, right,
you're gonna miss another day, so his numbers won't be
the same. But I start to look at and I
judge him and Judge Otanian judge on a different plateau
from the rest and the season that Aaron Judge.
Speaker 2 (22:36):
Rob g you have all the numbers or no, I
got a lot of numbers.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
For you. I mean, the.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
Numbers are outrageous, they really are. Like you about having
a season for the ages, Rob G.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
So, coming into Friday, Aaron Judge leads the majors, not
the a L, not the NL, not the Yankees, the
major leagues in batting average, on base percentage, slugging, hits,
home runs, RBI, and war. What's more impressive than even that,
which is incredible.
Speaker 2 (23:04):
I was about to say the pace that he is
on right now.
Speaker 5 (23:08):
He's currently just said if he continues where he's at
well in the season, batting over four hundred and hitting
over fifty home runs in a single season, which of
course has.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
Never been done. But four hundred is a tall order.
Speaker 4 (23:23):
But it just tells you the league average is like
two forty two, that's the league average. This guy's a slugger.
Sluggers don't hit for average. I think at one point,
Rob J, I don't know where he is now. I've
looked lately. He was leading the league in singles too.
Now that justyp That just shows you he's hitting the
ball all he's spraying it all over all over the place.
(23:44):
He's not just he's shortened up, not just swinging for defences.
And trying to hit home runs, and you gotta start
to look at it like, like I get it. Otarni
being the dual threat is what people looked at. But
I don't know if I could pass up on a
Judge if I was putting together a team, because the
thing about Ol'tani is to me, as a hitter, he's
(24:07):
not better than Aaron Judge. And as a pitcher, he's
not a Cy Young. He's a number one maybe, but
not a right but not a Cy Young. If he
was a Cy Young and a better hitter than Aaron Judge,
and I don't think it's any ifans or buzz, but
he's a really good number one starter and a really
(24:29):
really good hitter and rum producer, but he's Aaron Is
that at the top of a category.
Speaker 1 (24:37):
I think what makes Otani intriguing obviously is the pitching,
but I think it's part of it is.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
It's kind of the Travis Hunter.
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Are there a quartercourt nerd backs cornerbacks DB's who have
come out who may be a better dB than him?
Maybe it was Champ Bailey, maybe it was Dareel Reeves
coming out here like just pure corner that person is better,
But there's always gonna be that intrigue, and now him
being on a team that's more visible, and the Dodgers
versus the Angels, him being in a team that the
only thing that matters is winning a World Series. At
(25:06):
this point, I think that those types of things making
him intriguing. Also not doing it at the rad he
did it last year, But him stealing bases is a
real factor because it's something you didn't necessarily.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
I agree.
Speaker 4 (25:19):
You know, he ain't gonna get fifty stone ba That's
why I say on this year. And the other thing
too so far, which you gotta be surprised to us
that ten home runs and fifteen RBI's now that shocking
to me. If he had bottom of wasting his time,
he had one hundred and thirty last year.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
You know what, he's on pace for sixty six.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
They got to figure out the bottom of the lineup
for sure, because he's getting up there and it's like,
all right, cool, you give up one.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
That's one.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
That's one run. You know, that's one run if you
hit a home run. And he's not coming up there
with one, two, three guys on and that is a
problem because what he's in.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
With runners and scoring position. I'm curious he's with opportunities.
Speaker 4 (26:00):
No, I'm asking. I'm curious because because he's if he
hit ten home runs, not all of them are solo.
How many runs has he actually knocked in off the bases, like,
you know what I mean, because I doubt all ten
with solo. He only has fifteen RBIs, so say two
of them with two run home runs.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
One was a three run home run.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
Maybe he has one opportunity where he's knocked in a
run with a running and scoring position.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Because it can't be that many. That's well, say, well,
they would probably county home run if the guy was
on second or third, you know what I mean. Count
And that's the issue is that you feel like you're
wasting him.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
But Aaron Judge being the best hitter is a couple
of reasons why it's again, it's impressive. First of all,
just to side dude six seven, that's that's impressed. And
he's thirty three and he's not slowing down. It's not
like we've seen he's actually getting back. That's what I'm saying.
We haven't seen the peak of his hitting. You figure,
all right, right now, he's still going to be a quality,
one of the better bats. But for him to be
the best bats still going in an error where we
(26:57):
believe it's peed free least with him for the most part. Uh,
that's what makes it remarkable. Now. I also say this,
one of the things that you know that matter we're
seeing it right now because the NBA is in its
postseason is when you make your fame, and he hasn't
quite made his fame.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
That that that has to be there too, even though
Otani didn't really well.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
But I was telling Rob g this earlier. The difference
is four years, two years, four years, eight years, ten years.
We're gonna forget that, and we're just gonna remember all
Tani's team beat Judge's team in the world here we.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
Won't remember exactly the bad average. Remember he got that win.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
But when you talk about all time gray if he doesn't,
because Barry Bonds are all time great and he you know,
the team almost beat the Angels, ye losing seven games
in two. But you know, and before that he had
no numbers. He just didn't hit in a postseason. And
then he hit in that World Series and they lost anyway.
But I but that's some point I'm saying where Judge.
Judge is cemented Aaron Rodgers. He's gotta win, He's gotta win.
(27:56):
A champ Aaron Rodgers esque. Where got I'm sorry, Alex
ry Reid.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
Guys as finally one and two, you're like, oh man,
he doesn't he doesn't show up. He's not this, he's
not Derek Jeter. And he finally showed up. They won,
and he kind of was able to exercise those demons.
So I think Aaron Judge is gonna need that to
do it as well. But he is an amazing bat.
You and I sit here night and night out, we
just just watch it. It's just remarkable. And you mentioned
it's double here, single here. He's just barely got the
(28:22):
bat on it, but it still goes out the park.
I mean, he's just remarkable to see again a guy
that size, at this age again, thirty three, still doing
it and doing it at the highest level, not a
high level, the highest level is remarkable. So we're sitting
there and we're playing backyard sandlight ball, and you chose
Aaron Judge and our stuck with Otani. Obviously we're both happy,
but I do think Aaron Judge right now is a
(28:44):
better hitter. That's not crazy. That's not I don't think
that's like a you know, it's not like that's not
a wild take. Aaron Judge is incredible, I bet right now,
six or seven years straight now, and it's just even
more remarkable. And it's even remarkableen you look at the
numbers that he did, even at times when he has
these big slumps, and then if you still get the
(29:04):
end of the season, you look at the numbers like,
I'm sorry, when did he slump because these numbers don't
look like somebody had a two, three four week slump, right,
Because then you go, wait, minute, he's still he didn't
hit nothing.
Speaker 4 (29:14):
Right, because remember last year there and then he had
the stretch where or he went like fifteen games without
a home run and if you take those two out,
he would have had seven.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
That's what I mean. That's what makes it crazy to
see what he's doing. So he is, he's incredible. But
I'm glady, I'm glad he's doing it. I'm glad he's
doing it with the Yankees and marquee franchise. I'm glad
o Tony left and went to the Dodgers and had success.
Another Marquee franchise because I think it's good for the
sport when you have New York the Yankees, the Dodgers specifically,
not the Angels, and they're doing well and their star
(29:48):
players are doing well, you know what I mean, because
you don't want star players to go somewhere they kind
of be like betterfially with the Padres where You're like,
I thought it was gonna be better than that.
Speaker 2 (29:57):
You want it to be great. You want Yankees Dodgers
for the first time in forty years? You want that?
Speaker 1 (30:02):
Can we get that every five years? You know where
you're like, Oh, this is great for the sport, great
for viewership. Love it all right? Shechko City on the
way how to rob due one two two?
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Been a lot of that lately. You see Is that Mary?
Speaker 8 (30:14):
Mary?
Speaker 2 (30:15):
That is Mary? Hey what I'm married? So see it?
Speaker 1 (30:17):

It's time now for Shekel City Today. All right, two
and one. Last night, I'm at one twenty four and
four as the total. So here we go, a chance
to go over five hundred into the weekend. I got
the Denver Nuggets plus five and a half at home
Game three. I'm gonna take Denver to win that game,
(31:45):
but I'll take the five and a half points also,
I got the Indiana Pacers plus three and a half
at home. I think the Calves win, but in a
close one. No, No, I think they're I think their
tick that they wasted.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
That's that lead, and they were wasting almost a fifty
piece from Donovan Garland alone is gonna it's gonna be
a I think this blowout.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
I think they win by twelve. On the road in Indianapolis,
they went by I'm gonna say close win.
Speaker 1 (32:11):
But the way this NBA Final playoffs have been going,
you might be right, but I'm go diagg it close
going with twelves standing on business.
Speaker 2 (32:17):
And I'm already in trouble. I think, what's the score
on the Tigers game?
Speaker 4 (32:21):
At the bottom, I just I have the Tigers and
the Rangers, and I'm going with the under seven and
a half run, So then the eight runs to beat me?
I think it's two nothing, right, Tigers, third second or
third inning?
Speaker 2 (32:37):
You might be the sixth inning? Already you picked the
over the under. I'm good. Then, all right, Oh my god,
I didn't realize it was run home run? All right, man,
don't do that to me. All right?
Speaker 4 (32:49):
So again the under in the Tigers Rangers game Pacers
plus three and a half. I expect them to lose,
but not by much.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
You think I'm gonna have another close at the clutch moment?
It again?
Speaker 4 (33:01):
Man, every night, No and Denver at home plus five
and a half. They went outright.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
I remember, Kelvin, I'm not telling you who the bet
on what I'm telling you who I bet on?
Speaker 1 (33:14):
I tell you what, man, we were just talking. I'm
looking at the Detroit Tigers and the City Connect jersey
that got going on?
Speaker 2 (33:20):
You ain't on all these different jerseys? And actually I
got one as a gift from a friend.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
My buddy Charlie got me that one, you know, that
blue one that they're wearing today, Connect one, which is
pretty nice.
Speaker 2 (33:32):
Do you like them?
Speaker 4 (33:33):
Not just just the Tigers, but just the I'm not
they're okay? Like the yellow one for the Red so
Red Sox have a yellow jersey just sounds blessed. It
doesn't even make sad. It looks weird, uh. I Like,
I'm not trying to be an old stick of them all.
I like traditional. I just like traditional, But I'm not
saying I'm against everybody trying something new. I just don't
(33:56):
want a team to have.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
To have a red jersey.
Speaker 4 (34:00):
No please, we would be like red fox you like
you're about to die right now. The red jersey people,
I'll tell you, I'm telling you. Yankee fans would be pissed.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
I'm seri.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
The Yankees, the players themselves will be nervous to run
out there like you. I ain't doing you go first,
I ain't going out there. We're gonna be getting batteries
thrown at us, Sodas beers.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
That ain't the Yankees? Bo Why what are you the Texas?
Speaker 4 (34:27):
Right?
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Yeah, they couldn't do that. They couldn't do that. I
think they've missed. They've missed more than they've made, if
you will with these some of these jerseys. But every
now and again you get one that's kind of cool?
Speaker 4 (34:36):
Was it?
Speaker 2 (34:37):
The Rockies I liked?
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Might have been the Rockies that have cool one. The
Dodgers I've been liked. But it's almost too safe for them,
would you agree, Robs? The Dodgers are kind of safe.
It's not not like too crazy for them.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:49):
The one they did that was really nice. And it
wasn't the City Connect All the World series with the
gold around thee Oh yeah, like that was subtle and classy,
and that was really only one jersey people wearing nose.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
So the World series winners can only have gold because
I did you all do a story on that? Yeah,
we were out out there opening day and the guy
who does all the merchandising came on the show talk
to us, and I'm you know me, I'm like, yeah, man,
let me. I did a Rod Parker. I had already
had on a nice little pullover that I purchased, and
he had these the ones. We were talking about these
(35:21):
crazy what sizes that that costs crazy money. Ended up
looking it up this crazy and I wanted to get
ready to go on TV. I said, oh, man, you're
at a large He goes, yes, here and he's yours.
I was like, all right, cool for the TV. I'm
thinking he meant wear it on TV and then give
it back. He's like, no, I men, it's yours.
Speaker 3 (35:38):
Is it for me?
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Really?
Speaker 2 (35:41):
I haven't won it yet. Look at you. I'm gonna weare,
but I don't fall here in your mouth when I
wear you already know because you already man, look at
this guy.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
I'm a matter of fact, I'm gonna wear it like
a big time game, just so you can have a
I helped the I hope it's Yankees dodge this world
series again.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
I'm coming in with that thing.
Speaker 4 (35:57):
You could wear it when we go to the sweet
rob G with the family and everybody, right, yep, only
if you bring a nice young lady.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
So now you got him on deck, I'll have one ticket,
rob G.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
Just call him Bill Belichick. I know Bill Belichick. Definitely
you lucky he ain't got your number because he would
be hitting you up. This with the text was just saying, really,
this is what we're doing. No, oh really, pob G.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
We can do it. Let's make it happen. We'll do it.
That's all. I have a family out to get a sweet.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
You know.
Speaker 2 (36:28):
I try to talk about that. Yeah, we'll do that.
Speaker 1 (36:32):
I do think you sit your feet up atnight while
you think you all right pre right now because you
and your work out, your eat right back. But pre this,
I do think you have your little coffee or is
a vanilla bean chanze cake feed up. I do think
you swipe. I think you I think you swipe. No,
you know what, I just don't think that that to.
Speaker 4 (36:50):
Me, And this is just me, okay, being a public
figure to be but I know plenty of guys who
are in the public you know, public jobs who are
on those sites would be like you, I just don't
think that that's where I should be on there with
my face on a site, does that make sense now?
(37:10):
I would be more inclined with your thing because you think, man,
the setup is really mean? Mom g you think is
an issue? If you're like a public figure, should you
be on models least?
Speaker 5 (37:19):
How I know that you're a certain a drop because
there are sites specifically for other famous people to jump on.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
There are sites everything.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
If you want to farm on me on there, wouldn't
you be like, look at this guy, he has a
bad radio show and trying to.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Scoop up chicks. The best part, MONTI would be how
hard he will be cheesing on his profile. I know
he'd be so excited sixty seventeen. But the only thing
that would be bad is I couldn't hold baby oil
in the picture. That would probably not work. Then never,
don't lie, don't sign up.
