Speaker 2 (04:19):

Speaker 3 (04:21):
This man is the walk? You are the walking contradiction.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
I gotta cut these out like these are my eye hops.
You already paying off ninety.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Two year old in some areas, and it also a
twenty nine year old in other areas. This man, show up,
show them. I'm cutting out my coop, cutting coupons, billions.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
No twenty percent off eye hops. And when I have breakfast,
what is it I have? What is the breakfast? Eight bucks?

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Anyway, it's either twenty percent off or you get a
second entre free.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
I mean that sounds like you a second entree. Yes,
my gosh.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Pulling out receipts when I've had when I've had like
coupons or two for ones on a date, I always
get up from the table and I slide it to
the waiter on low, on a low.

Speaker 3 (05:01):
I always go over and I'll be.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Like, hey, I'm trying to don't bring it to the table.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Stay this was expired, this one right here, sir, sir,
you you'll.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Staple it to the bill or whatever I say. Don't
staple it to the bill, Okay, don't all right.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Man, just pulled out a grocery store or receipt without
It wasn't even like a I can understand. It was
like the massive one with all the groceries you pulled
out just a thing of fetchini, I.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
Believe you, Rob. I gotta say for somebody who says
put their chest out to be afraid to use a
two for one, that doesn't sound like you know. I'm
just saying the game. She doesn't need to know what
because you're eating on me, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
No, she doesn't. No, this is one time I'm actually right.
You can't do that, don't.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
You don't want to let that she's gonna believe you're
setting her up for the future of.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Right, all right, Isaac Low and Crown Is at the
sports anchor desk, will keep us updated throughout the program,
and of course Elijah is our social media group.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Elijah got your receipt there for the people to see.
Oh good, I'm not embarrassing. No, I'm just saying that. Well,
remember we ate down here, We walked a couple of
blocks and get a free meal. You should be embarrassed
us like that.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Matter of fact, Well, we know the trade deadline and
there was some deals done, rob G. Are you going
to talk to us about a couple of these deals?

Speaker 3 (06:21):
And especially the Washington commanders, Rob G. Yeah, they're out
here making some moves.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Man Or they're there, but I want him to talk
about some of them all that were made yep. And
then people and how the Washington Commanders are the new hotness.

Speaker 5 (06:36):
They are.

Speaker 7 (06:37):
Well, they did make the biggest splashiest traded everybody when
they acquired Saints.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
Pro Bowl cornerback Marshawn Lattimore.

Speaker 7 (06:46):
You know, the Chiefs were in on him, Allegedly the
Ravens had a key on him and ultimately ended up
going to Washington. It was a third and a fourth
pick and then you know some pick swaps, so not
a massive price tag.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
He is going to be a free agent end of
the year, so it could be a rental, it could
be some more.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
We'll find out easier right to do that right because
there's no big price tag.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
But the reason.

Speaker 7 (07:07):
Why the Commanders making this deal raise some eyebrows is
number one, because it's the Commanders and it wasn't the Chiefs,
it wasn't the Raves, it wasn't the Bills, it wasn't
a team that you would cold consider a perennial power.
The other one being that two days ago, Adam Schefter
put out this report for ESPN saying that agents around

(07:27):
the league have told him that their players have specifically requested, Hey,
if you can trade me or if you can help
me sign with the Washington Commanders. And what Schefter said
in his report was that the biggest reason for this
newfound interest in Washington is the play of rookie quarterback

(07:52):
Jaden Daniels.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
No surprise to me, no surprise at all.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Every now and again, once every you know, two three
years or so four years, we get kind of that
young quarterback that has a run or people see the
run coming and they want to run and jump on
that train. If you go back to Russell Wilson, right
and what he was able to do early on with
the Seahawks, you're gonna like, all right with that defense,
with that quarterback, you can kind of see what's coming.

(08:18):
Patrick Mahoons once he really got the starting job with
the Kansas City Chiefs after they moved on from Alex Smith,
you see what was going on there. Lamar Jackson once
he kind of got rolling, you kind of know, punch
them in for ten games every year, just ten games,
super Bowl, I don't know, we'll see punch them in
for ten. And I think people are seeing Jayde and
Daniels and that whole new front office or for the

(08:39):
new ownership, and they're like, man, let me be a
part of that, because at least it seems every year
I'll have a chance to compete, a chance to be
playing for something, a chance to be potentially in the postseason,
and then from there you'll see once you get in
the tournament. So it doesn't surprise me that people are
seeing And you know, Rob, you know this too, man.
They probably got the tech s messages going on, hey man,

(09:02):
what is that kid? That real deal? Like, boy, let
me tell you these that real deal and then makes
it interesting and intriguing to be a part of.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Yeah, I think there's more than that. And I and
I do get it. He's the new hotness. And it's
easy to because quarterbacks get too much credit and too
much of the blame. We know that, okay, So I do.
I do believe that that they see a young kid
like him. It's like last year with CJ. Stroud and whatnot.
So I get that. But I think it's deeper than that.
And I think when you talk about the quarterback, the

(09:32):
coaching has to play a fact too, because it's about
winning and it's about changing the culture. Because I could
give you quarterbacks that have bad coaches who are supposed
to be can't miss, like like Justin Herbert, right, but
he had a bad coaching Brandon Staley right, Like games
that you should have won and all kinds of stuff

(09:54):
that stopped them from doing what they what they probably
would have done with such a guy. There used to
be pole preseason where Justin Herbert was ahead of Patrick
Mahoe for sure, because they were like, he's six ' five,
he's built, he's got a stay exactly. Trevor Lawrence was
can't miss the best quarterback prospect since Peyton Manning.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
My god, blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Bad coach in Urban Meyer, bad situation, bad circumstance. So
there is Joe Burrow comes out, Oh Cincinnati can't win
a playoff game. He shows up and people are automatically there.
Now they haven't won. They got to the which is good.
They got there, but they haven't won anything yet. So

(10:40):
I think there's a degree of that. And quinnin Washington
changing the culture and the tone has to be a
part of that as well, because even if you look
at Jane Daniels, his passing numbers, you know, are modest,
but it's it's that he's a dual threat and he
can run the football as well. I think, rob G,
what do we look at fifteen hundred yards to the
first nine games passing or something like that.

Speaker 7 (11:04):
He's the second quarterback in NFL history through the first
eight games of his career, not counting this last Sunday,
to have fifteen hundred passing yards and over four hundred rushing.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Yards yet and the rushing yards, you know what I
mean that that's a number. That's incredible quarterback and that's
what makes him so dynamic and why people are excited.
I always look at Tom Brady, and people, you know,
have given Tom Brady way too much credit for the Patriots.
They had a top five defense, rob G. We did
this math too, like almost every year what a Super

(11:36):
Bowl was fortunate, right, and and and there are games
even in like you do the Falcons game when they
had to come back, the defense.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Almost gave up, but they didn't score.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
They didn't score, right, and when they beat the Rams,
if you remember that Super Bowl when the last.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
One they beat the Rams, help the three points help.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
They averaged thirty five points that year and they got
held to an eighty nine yard field goal, Like that
is how dominant because if you remember that Super Bowl,
Tom Brady had no touchdowns and an inter reception. Yeah right,
that's only like and a fumble. I think that is
what's his day was. And they even gave the MVP
to a wide receiver who didn't even have a touchdown

(12:17):
like that. It was that kind of game. Remember I
think it was thirteen. It was, it was. It was
an awful game.

Speaker 6 (12:22):
That was.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
It was a terrible game.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
But but nobody because you can't give they don't give
it to the whole defense or you know, they don't
pick out one player for one play, so a lot
of times the quarterback is the one.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
But I think coaching is huge. I completely agree.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
I think again, I brought up you know what, I
remember the conversation we're having about Michael Vick once he
finally got with Andy Reid. Remember that what we saw
the best absolute version of Michael Vick, And we said, man,
what could have been had Michael Vick been with Andy
Reid and also matured as a person and as a
player and was willing to grow. If he did that,
it had an Andy Reid, what would he have been?

(13:00):
Smith gets with and Andy Reid. So there's a marriage
between a great quarterback, uh and Bill Walsh and Joe Montana.
You know what I mean that there's always some marriage
don Shula and Dan Marino. Like we just said, Patrick
Mahomes and Andy Reid.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
When you get again, Donovan McNabb went to Fort Donovan
McNabb and Andy Ree championship games and they went to
al And I'll give you another example.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
And I don't think he's said coaching is huge.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
I'm gonna add that extra sy to coaching and culture
that I mean when you like, if you look at
never have you ever thought someone would say, man, shoot,
I want to go play with them lions. But Dan
Campbell has created a culture there where they're hard nose,
they're gritty, they're gritty, they know who they are, they
don't mind going for it. And he's created a culture
and he's empowered his offensive and defensive coordinators. Now you

(13:45):
got Jared Golf thriving, and it's like, man, Detroit seems
to be a new place. So Jade and Daniels married
with Quinn married. With that new ownership, you're starting to
create a culture where people expect to win there. They
have hopes to win there. And now you got something cooking.
Now you're cooking when you can create all those elements
and all those ingredients brewing in the pot. Now you're
cooking with something, man. And that's what people make something special.

(14:08):
And guys want to jump up and be a part
of and say man, because if I got to play it, man,
I want to try to be in a situation where
I can play meaningful games and compete every d That's
why I don't want to go to the Panthers new ownership.
We hear them meddling. They don't know what they're doing.
They're doing too much. We don't like the coaches. They
not drafted right, you know what I mean? I don't
want to go to that. Do you feel like a
dessence that was Detroit for so many years? You know

(14:29):
this Detroit was a place you would go to retire
every old player. I know at some point he's like, yeah,
I swung by Detroit. Yeah had five games stanton Detroit,
Like they would just send you there. But now the
culture's changed. So you're right, Jayden and Daniels, Quinn and
the ownership, that whole trio has got something brewing too.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
All right, The Commanders are the new hotness in the NFL.
We all know that.

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Is it more because of Jayden Daniels or because of
dan Quinn?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
And I mean knowing Daniels if you're but but I
get the mixing of it.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Yeah. I think think that it's more than just a quarterback.

Speaker 4 (15:02):
I think that dan Quinn has a big part of
it and what they're building because it's not just the
quarterback play. Like, they have a really good, well rounded
team and I think that that's part of it. Eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine
six sixty three sixty nine. We'll continue the conversation next
with you. It is The Odd Couple on a trash

(15:23):

Speaker 1 (15:49):
It is the Odd couple Rob Parker Kelvin Washington on
a trash talking Tuesday, eight seven, seven ninety nine on
Fox Lock that number in coming to you live from

The commanders are all in Rob. They're trying to make
their hour making trades. They got Latimore now all pro cornerback.
Obviously they're seven and six and two, jayde and Daniels
looking like the offensive rookie of the year and folks.

(16:32):
According to some reports, Adam Shefter saying this is a
destination people want to play for. The question is is
it Jaydeen Daniels. They're saying, I want to go hitch
my wagon with that young player. You believe it's the coaching.
I think when they see somebody young, especially like Daniels,
That's what it is. Eight seven seven ninety nine on
Foxes Go to the phone, calls.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
We got and let me just say it's Randy and
new Allan joined the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
What's up, Brandy rib and Calvin how y'all doing? What's up?
Randy Man? How are you?

Speaker 8 (17:01):
I'm not doing well before I even get started. Man,
it's a tough time to be a Saints fan. We're
happy to get rid of DA, but Marshawn is a
fan favorite.

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Man.

Speaker 8 (17:10):
It's a hard day in the city. Man, it's a
hard day. But I'll say this. My parents live right
outside of Bowie, Maryland, which is close to the command
of stadium. Yes, and they have a crazy great fan base.
The ownership is new, they got a really good coaching.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
Of course, they.

Speaker 8 (17:28):
Got to buy you Bengo on the center, and they're
ready to spend some money and people are ready to
come now. So I think it's a little bit of everything.

Speaker 6 (17:36):
To me.

Speaker 8 (17:37):
They just got everything working right now and they just
need to continue to build on that roster. Man, and
they're gonna make a deep run into January.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
I don't know. I don't know this year. Let me
ask you this, and this is why I agree.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
When you talk about a player or quarterback of that
ilk and he's exciting and the new flavor of the month.
But the coaching part does matter because Trevor law Lwrence.
I brought up Trevor Lawrence. I brought up Justin Herbert,
who people were raving about.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
Right.

Speaker 4 (18:05):
Oh, the Chargers got their franchise quarterback, they paid him
and all that, but they had a bad coach. And
that's why I'm saying coaching is so big as well,
because it is about winning. You could have like a
quarterback fantastic. If you don't win, the place is not
as attractive. Without a doubt, I mean, I appreciate the
call too. Listen, you know what I mean, yo, without

(18:27):
a doubt.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
That's why I'm saying, if if you ask me, give
me the shiny quarterback first, just because if if they're
that good, then, as we've talked about, if you're like
that good, you should be able to elevate me. But
having a great coach, having a great general manager, having
a great ownership, when you have all of that man
or at least three of the four her you know
what I mean, you can cook, you can make some

(18:48):
things happen. One of the interesting things I have is magic.
Johnson he's a part owner of that, part owner of
the Dodger. Obviously, he was a part owner of the
Lakers for so long. Like, what the heck is it
that sparks? Like all the things that he gets involved in,
why the heck is it all win? Like Magic Johnson
has the minus touch. Soon as he gets part ownership
with this new ownership group with the Commanders, all of

(19:09):
a sudden they start winning. The Dodgers finally get another
couple of rings in the last four years. Man, Magic Johnson,
if he's a part of something, you gonna win. I
don't care if it's Michigan State as a player, Lakers
as a player, as a part owner. If Magic is involved,
he got the magic Midas touch, You're gonna win, including
the Commanders right now, but they're gonna win a ring
in like the next five years. Watch because Magic Johnson

(19:31):
is a part of the ownership. Who we got He's
just a fan.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
I'm just trying to figure out the magic with the
Commander's thing and a Dodger.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
What you mean, what do you figure it out? You
don't see the common denominator.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
CALLI what is this? Callie commander fan? Yeah, he's a
California Commander fan apparently Fresno. You're on the d Command
Fox Sports Radio. Way, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Man?

Speaker 9 (19:53):
I have waited thirty years to get talked about like
this on the national media show about talking about you
got the Cowboys. It's always about well well deserved Patrick.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
Mahomes Well, if you if you listen to all show, yes,
if you do listen to our show. We don't do
the same topics over and over like a lot of Jaen,
but enjoyed the moment. Kelly whatever your real name is.

Speaker 9 (20:22):
J D five is him, as my younger daughter says,
he is him and we are loving it. He's magic.
He has a little bit of mahomes Field like you
just feel he's never out of it. And I don't know, man,
I'm not worried about any team in the NFC right now,
including the Lions.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Excuse me what, Jared Goff?

Speaker 9 (20:42):
Jared Goff is not as good as Jadon Daniels period.

Speaker 3 (20:46):
Well, I don't.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
I want to argue the natural talent, but we not
going to act like the Lions team as a whole
won't run through them.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Boys. You got your feelings hurt? Nah?

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Sure, j Daniels, It looks like he's any more space
so individually than the then Jerke. I don't think Jayed
Goff is a natural talent. He's a good passer as
long as you keep him in the pocket.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
He got to I think he gets this discount counted
at the Rams to the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Did the average.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
Thirty five points a game that year was one of
the best offenses ever.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
He was a quarterback. Let's let's stop acting like he
won the quarterback on that team.

Speaker 6 (21:20):
He was.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
I think the issue is quarterbacks. He's from that era
of the eighties. He looks exactly like an eighties quarterback nineties,
and I think the dynamic, you know, the these dynastic
I guess ability of these we mentioned Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes,
Jaydon Daniels. Guys are getting you were running, they're passing,
they're making unbelievable plays.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
He's just kind of not that. He's just a traditional
drop back.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
And I think that's why he gets discounted because at
this point we're looking at like five tool quarterbacks where
he doesn't have all those tools, and I think that's
where he's getting discredited. He for salam and just around
the corner right.

Speaker 6 (22:13):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (22:13):
How are you?

Speaker 6 (22:15):
What's up? Brothers? How y'all doing?

Speaker 7 (22:16):
Man?

Speaker 3 (22:16):
Now you're riding around with your eye voter stick around
what you're doing?

Speaker 6 (22:20):
You already know? Man? Come on, man, this is serious.
Man like it about to go down. Man. I hope
everybody out there voting. I hope you're y'all been telling
your listeners to go vote.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
Yeah, we started up the show about who you Right.
It's about just going out there and having your solve.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
Man.

Speaker 6 (22:35):
A lot of people, a lot of people died, but
doubt do this man. So that's that's the serious part
of it.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
Yeah, doubt, no doubt, And you should never take it
for granted. I tell people all the time. Now, you know,
if somebody says something great to me, I was real quick. Uh,
he said, everything we do, FDA determines what food we
can have. You got certain governments that descermine the literal
clothes that we can wear. You know, what's legal to
sell with a why everybody's deserving what happens in your life,
Why won't you be participatory and you know, help determine

(23:03):
who's gonna be elected because people have been told that
they don't matter, that it doesn't matter, and you should
just look at like the Supreme Court justices that are appointed.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
A lot of that stuff comes from not voting or voting.

Speaker 6 (23:18):
Yes it does, and you know it's always yes.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
All that people have no idea.

Speaker 6 (23:23):
All right, if your school has funds to build the
library account, no.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Doubt about it. Hey, let's start here. Todd Bowles, they
tie the game, should they go for two? Most people
were ragging on them because you know, like I think
you got to go for two?

Speaker 3 (23:40):
There, you got the momentum you could have.

Speaker 4 (23:43):
You could have knocked off the r could have gone
gone for it and uh and and try to win
the game.

Speaker 6 (23:49):
All right, So let me let me let me break
this down for you. The answer to that question is yes,
if they wouldn't have called the timeout on second down
from the one yard line. You hear what I'm saying,
Like they got all the way down to the one
yard I believe they got a first down somebody was
first and go from the one. They got all the

(24:10):
way down to the one yard line with about thirty
four seconds left on the clock, and they decided that
they would call a timeout. Now that's where they went wrong,
because what you do is you just get up on
the ball. It's on the one yard line and you
snap the ball with about I don't know twenty or

(24:33):
so second left. You either score there or you'd miss it.
You wait, you take the time out right after that,
then you run another play, you score, then you can
go for two, but you leave about nine seconds on
the clock. Because they took that time out and they
scored the next play, they left twenty seven seconds on

(24:54):
the clock. You can't go for two there against Patrick
Mahomes at home with three timeouts in twenty seven seconds.
We saw what he did with thirteen seconds and two timeouts.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
Well, they misplayed that was that was remarkable. That was
the worst. Instead of squib kicking that or whatever they
didn't do to kick off to actually kick it to them.

Speaker 6 (25:18):
Right, But you understand what where I'm going.

Speaker 3 (25:21):
Right, don't they anytime with timeouts.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
You can't do it because even the fact that you
tied the score up, you forced them to punt on
that fourth and one with about twelve seconds or nine
seconds left in the game. If they're down by one,
they're going for everything and all they need to do
is beat you with the field goal. So you can't
You had to play. He did it exactly right. He

(25:45):
got himself to overtime and he you know, they the
flip of the coin, right, you had an opportunity to
stop them. It didn't work, Patrick Mahomes, Patrick Mahomes, and
so you gave yourself an opportunity to win the coin,
tass and then drive down the field to win it
in overtime. I think he played it perfectly. The problem

(26:06):
I have is them calling that time out. They shouldn't have.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Done that right instead of stopping the clock. Hey from
Salam joining us.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
I want to go back to if you if you
had a chance to listen to not the conversation we
were having about Jay and Daniels, and I'll make it
a little bit more broader. There's reports Adam Schefter saying
that players will say hey to their agents, get me there,
want to play with him? Does that happen when you
guys see the new hot young person, say Patrick Mahomes,
maybe somebody in your era maut or maybe it was
Michael Vick. People want to whoever it is when they say, man,
I want to play with him because I might have

(26:34):
a chance to get to the postseason year after year
after year.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Is that more common than people.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
May think, Well, yeah, it now it is because you
got to remember there. They didn't used to be real
big moves at the NFL trade deadline. That's more of
an NBA type of thing where guys are moving, big
named stars and all that are moving all over the
place during the NBA. Uh uh trade deadline frenzy. It

(27:02):
never really was the NFL until recently. Like you know,
high quality, high case in point DeAndre Hopkins right, Like,
how does he land in Kansas City? We will we
see what happens there? Uh, the Darius uh Like It's
like all of it was a lot of huge names,

(27:23):
especially with wide receivers this year now getting now. So
now you are on the phone with your agent like, yo,
look I'm not happy here. They gonna trade me. We
saw it happen with DeVante Adams. I want to go
with Aaron Rodgers, right, and teams are are you know,
adhering to these requests. Uh so, it's happening more so
now than ever. But to your to your question about

(27:46):
Dayton Daniels, there will be a line of receivers, our
offensive linemen, our offensive personnel that would love to go
join this young man and his journey because it seems
like it's gonna be a hell of a journey, just
like in Houston. Like you see what Houston did this
off season and re upped with uh with Stevan Days.

(28:08):
I know he hurt himself, but he was having a
heck of a season for them. The running back Joe Mixon.
Joe Mixon, right, like all of that, that man like
you don't think he wanted to go be a part
of that. Yeah, I want to be traded, but I
want to go there. Yeah I'm trying to go there.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
Let me ask you who's your right now on the
midway point of the season, who's your m VP.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
It would have to probably Lamar Jared Golf. M Those
will be my two, Lamar Jared. What Jared Golf is
doing is amazing. It's completion percentage, the team, the winning,
the amount of points that they've been scoring. I mean,
people are still waiting for him to just be the

(29:00):
year golf they think he is. But you know, you
got to realize when even when he was with the Rams,
he went to the super Bowl, right like, So he's
always had those qualities, uh, in terms of being a
dynamic quarterback. And then on the flip side of that
with with Lamar Jackson, I mean, it's nothing he can't do.
And just having Derrick Henry there is just even and

(29:20):
Derrick Heny that'd be one A, one B and and
Derrek Nnon would be two A in terms of m
v P.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
That's what we have. Those are the three that had
We were talking about it yesterday. Get you out of
here on this one real quick. Uh, what do you
make of the Philadelphia Eagles? Do you buy him? They're
sitting here six and two? We kind of feel like
the worst six and two team you've ever seen? Chaos,
You don't know if the coach are gonna get fired?
How are you on the hot seat?

Speaker 3 (29:42):
Has some of the sixth Yeah, but what do you
make of just what's going on there?

Speaker 6 (29:46):
Yeah, Sirianni, to me, isn't the right guy isn't the
right fit. It's just some of the situations that some like.
And I know they were heard, that both of their
receivers were heard, but it just doesn't seem like they're
button up and I kind of liking it to what
the Dallas Cowboys were last year. Yeah, they're beating up

(30:07):
on a lot of teams that they should beat up on.
But when the rubber hits the road, I don't trust
him or them to be one of those top teams
in the NFC. So yeah, I don't trust them, and
I don't trust him as a coach.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
All right. He is E from Salam.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
We appreciate you so much, brother, make sure you check
them out on the weekends. E from Salam on Twitter,

Speaker 3 (30:31):
All right, continue the conversation.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
We could go with the what happened with bulls there
and what they should and should not have done? Some
more NFL conversation. It is the odd couple. Rob Parker,

Welcome to Shekel City, the whole base for Rob Parker's

Speaker 4 (31:49):
All right, we got a couple things that haven't happened
in a while. First and foremost, last night, Shekel City
was three and oh last night, y's so.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
Okay? So boy you're coming back? Where are we at now.

Speaker 4 (32:04):
Absolutely, it's the record forty six fifty six and two.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
I thought we were a little bit better than that.

Speaker 4 (32:12):
I'm not gonna lie that'ty six and fifties, No, no, no,
forty six fifty six coming back though we came. Here
we go and tonight you know, there are no NBA
games tonight and everybody's.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Voting, so we have all who do we have hockey?
When we got hockey, NHHO, NHL.

Speaker 4 (32:27):
All right, so best bet take the Winnipeg Jets minus
one of the I don't know.

Speaker 1 (32:34):
Who they come on, you know you would grow up
and I know hockey town, Yeah town, come on. That
was back when hockey was actually considered like a sport,
that it would make highlight shows and talk about it.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
Boy, I tell you they still sell out every week.
They do, they do it. They got different.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Tell me some of the teams. I don't know. All right.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Also, I got the New York Islanders hosting the Penguins
minus one and a half goals. I'm taking the Islanders
and the La Kings. There we go are in Minnesota
taking on the wa Wow. Who that is Minnesota?

Speaker 2 (33:03):
Wild?

Speaker 6 (33:03):
To me?

Speaker 4 (33:04):
The Minnesota North Star they went to Dallas became the star.
I want you to know now, my wife ex wife
is from Detroit, being hockey town. When we were married
and lived in New York, we had season ticket package
for the New York Islanders. Imagine this young black couple
in their thirties going and there's like a ten game

(33:26):
package you can go to, you know what I mean,
something like that. And we went to games, but she waited,
she watched it, you know what I mean. Growing up
in Detroit, she liked to go more so than watching
at home.

Speaker 1 (33:40):
Shot to Mama, dub my mom her birthday. A couple
of weeks back, they went to a Red Wings game
out there and bring a jacket. It's cold out there though,
when you go to games, it's cold in there. Yeah,
real cold, all right.

Speaker 4 (33:49):
So the Kings plus one and a half, Island is
minus one and a half and the Jets minus one
and a half. And remember, Kelvin, I'm not telling you
who the beattle one, especially in the NHL.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
I'm telling you who I bet on. I don't blame
you because whoa I mean.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
I used to be able to rattle off of a
bunch of hockey players, man, I tell you right, And
Wayne Gretzky is still playing.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
Goodness, what is going man hockey? That's got to be racist.
And I'm just saying no. I mean Steve Eisman was
still playing, right because he with the say he's the
general manager of the team.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
No, no, I thought he wasn't. He wasn't doing manager
like coach and player kind of thing. No, No, all right,
he's the GM right.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Hey.

Speaker 1 (34:24):
By the way, I'm sitting here one of the TV's.
This is unusual because you mentioned it.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
We would have the NBA on right now, one of
the TV's obviously there's no football on a Tuesday, would
have something else, baseball, you know, a couple of weeks back,
if we had it going on.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
We don't have that right now. So we got a
bunch of just movies and obviously have a couple of TVs.
See what's going on with the election? Is there any
for it? And I'm not noticed how I looked away
from U Rob Park. I went straight to Robb g
and went to Alex and I'm going to Elijah as well.
Where are you putting Dark Knight in your rewatchables? Like
just if it's on, it's getting a half hour out
of you.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
It's way up there. Yeah, it's way up there. Elijah said, yes,
talk for me. I can't watch that. It's too dark.
Wait what do you mean? Because we know how you
get with that jokers just like that, like what happened?

Speaker 6 (35:08):
Ok?

Speaker 3 (35:09):
How time we got? I mean he just we got
three minutes? Can I be can I can I be
a therapist for you? What I'm just hello, darkness, Rob's
old friend.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
What happened?

Speaker 6 (35:19):
Rob?

Speaker 3 (35:19):
What happened? What do you mean? What did you have sisters? Right? Yes?

Speaker 4 (35:23):
Did they lock you in a closet? Not like three
hours or something? I have a very vivid imagination. I
never was into I told you the movie that wrecked
it for me when I was a kid.

Speaker 3 (35:35):
See what you said? The extorsist right?

Speaker 5 (35:36):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 3 (35:38):
No, no, that didn't record for me that that made
my life? Okay, it was Willard? Do you know that
movie Willows Willard?

Speaker 5 (35:46):
It was with the Rats, I mean Mark Willard.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
No, no, no, he's just we don't call my guy wreck.

Speaker 3 (35:55):
You know he probably don't do my guy like the
box all right?

Speaker 5 (36:00):
Eight seven seven?

Speaker 3 (36:01):
He went the first guy and did a show with him.
My man, that's good. People.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
We gotta get to the root of this because you're
scared to tell bad flyers around here.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
You jump on my lap? What's going on?

Speaker 4 (36:11):
So so was that movie? I went as a child young,
but that's right, and I and I remember waking up
screaming that rats were all over me and they were
biting me or whatever. That's the New Yorker, I know.

Speaker 1 (36:23):
And that's why it is really like former Magna Stallion.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Into like scary blood gore any of that.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
We know.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
I don't like it, but I was trying to get
to the root of why, like, like, no one in
their right mind thought of Dark Knight is scary.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
I want to say that, I like to nobody. I
just said it.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Just I mean, yeah, he played a dark version of
the joke. It wasn't the nineteen sixties one.

Speaker 9 (36:45):
I'm like that.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
I like seasonal Marrow, you know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (36:49):
But Rob, you love Wizard of Oz, right, Yes, have
you ever heard the backstory of the things that happened
on that sestide?

Speaker 4 (36:55):
And you still that's not dark? No, but I didn't
see it on the screen. It actually you actually did.

Speaker 6 (37:03):
Well.

Speaker 4 (37:03):
I look in the background and wanted to see I've
heard that from what you heard of that.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Wait, what tell me?

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Will was at least somebody Uh, basically, you know, okay,
and it's just in the background of the movies. They
haven't been good editing in the thirties or someone was.
They couldn't edit that out.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
They didn't see it apparently, Oh wow, amazing.

Speaker 3 (37:25):
Darkness.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
I just would rather laugh and enjoyed lot. I don't
need to be taken down by that isn't amazing.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
That's not that. Let me start over.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
So you've seen it though, Yeah, you saw it all
the way through. I just didn't feel like you walked out.
I just didn't like it.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
How can you not like arguably one of the greatest
movies last thirty years.

Speaker 4 (37:44):
I like the first Batman when they rebooted. You like
the cheesy like happy go Lucky. How may you yell
at people when you're really just a cheesy, happy go
lucky guy?

Speaker 1 (37:56):
What what's that all about? I'm just real So this
is the therapists, I'm getting to it. So you're really
you're really not a big mean guy.

Speaker 3 (38:04):
You try to personify that mean No, I said, you're
trying to personify because you're really a nice sweetheart. I'm
just drinks Arnold Palmers and doesn't want dark stuff in
this TV.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
I don't need dark stuff. We got plenty of dark
stuff in real life. I don't I don't need to.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
Go see it like old school. I just like to
be enjoyed. I like to laugh at fun like that. Man,
I just want to get to it.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
Because you didn't even like dark Knight the Chiefs, it's dark.
