Speaker 1 (04:21):
All right, that's definitely gonna be on his exit interview.
So why are you leaving?

Speaker 3 (04:24):
Elijah?

Speaker 1 (04:25):
You're never heard of me. I'm blessed with tears. I'm
giving Rob stuff at two in the morning and you
never heard of me? Well, I gotta be giving him
stuf at to it. Did you see his face when
I said it? He got a family exactly, he said, Boy,
you ain't never lied.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
I'm like, I'm like, Elijah, are you up? Boy? I'm
telling you Eliza, all right, I'll tell you Elijah.

Speaker 4 (04:46):

o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I'm like, I'm hoping it's some way till month, but
I'm gonna just do it. Oh God, Elijah, did you.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
See my bets. I'm so glad she loves the trusting
that she didn't turn over and thinks it's an A
at the end of your name, Roberta's like, no, it's
Robert Man. Robert all right.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
Uh, rob G, we got a Thursday night football tilt
along with all the baseball that's going on.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
The playoffs continue, Dodgers and Phillies.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
Coachin brewis uh and the Philadelphia Eagles will be the
team to watch, obviously coming off a loss, and you
know there's a little push back between uh, the offense
and what's going on and Brown and hurts or doing
the two step.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Rob G. Fullerson, That's what I'm here for. Set the table.
I didn't say that's the dishes. I did not say that,
vacuum the carpet. Did I say that that's what it
feels like.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
I mean, you do always say you're an old man,
and that's all old people do.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
But rob G, these are my keys. I'm just wowow wow.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Let me tell you something.

Speaker 8 (05:58):
Can I say something short that's nothing compared to what's
happened to me in my life where I've been handed
Uh standing in front of a restaurant after I paid
two hundred dollars for a meal and they're like, Uh,
can you get my car?

Speaker 1 (06:12):
No, I'm waiting for my car. Do I look like
I'm a valet?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
And the guy goes, well, you do.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
The difference is they didn't know you.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
You do know me, and you still ask me to
do all this time. He got you there.

Speaker 9 (06:25):
But at any event, Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles New York Giants,
big game tonight Thursday Night Football, and you touched on
it briefly. The Eagles offense has been stuck in the
mud relatively all season. They're averaging just two hundred and
sixty two yards a game, down over one hundred from
last season. And while they're great in the red zone

(06:46):
because of the Tush push, everything else is down. Jalen
hurts passing yards per attempt is down. Sa Kuon Barkley's yards,
rushing yards per game, coordinator down, Davante Smith, AJ Brown
receptions and receiving yards per game down, which culminated with

(07:06):
Sakuon Barkley, Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown having a powwow
earlier this week, which they didn't mean to get public,
but of course the thing always becomes public.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
Alex Well, come that's not racist.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
Pow wow.

Speaker 9 (07:16):
No, to try to figure out what's going on, how
do they fix it, how do they all get on
the same page. And I guess we'll find out in
about an hour whether that meeting had any kind of value.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
We talked about this a lot last year with the
Kansas City Chiefs and that something seemed a little bit off.
You know, there's something that they were finding ways to
win a game. They were finding ways to get the
you know, the lucky plays or the fate seemed to
favor them. And that's kind of funny that that's what
we're doing now. At that time, they were the reigning
Super Bowl champs, and now we're kind of seeing the
same thing with the Eagles, where you know, we come

(07:54):
on on the Monday after a game and we go, well,
well they won. I saw that matter, but it didn't
look good or who thank god for the black kickers.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
That's up.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
You gotta last year, you didn't complain about the offense
and about him throwing last year, what do you mean?

Speaker 3 (08:11):
Yeah, I said, No, I said last.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
Year you said he was the weak link and passing team.
The last year you said going into the super Bowl,
that's why you thought that they couldn't win or something
because he had if he had to.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
If this is right, okay, so right, But I have
no idea what they had to do anything we're talking about,
because talking about the Chiefs and how the Chiefs, we
all were saying, man, the office doesn't look right, and
yet they were still able to go fifteen to two
and ultimately.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
Get I don't think that they were as bad as
the Chiefs were, but good they are as bad.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
Last year.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
They don't are statistically worse right now, Rob just told
you the last year. They're looking at the Eagles this year.

Speaker 4 (08:51):
I'm talking about the Eagles last year during the season.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
I'm saying the Chiefs last year year who with the
Ranning Super Bowl champs, we had issues because the offense
wasn't the greatest. Patrick Mahomes had to talk about I
know I'm not right now, I'm.

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Not the greatest. The team ain't looking the greatest.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
I'm saying it's ironic that the team that was the
raigning champ then the Chiefs, is similarly happening to the
Eagles this year, the reigning champs where the offense looks
bad to almost a plundred plus yards per game down
Sakwon Barkley's running crazy two thousand yards down averaging thirty
thirty somethings a game.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Everything crazy right now? Offensive line last three one point
one yards is terrible.

Speaker 1 (09:34):
And then when you start to look at their rankings
right now, it's like concerning they're thirty first and passing
yards per game at twenty fifth in rushing with ninety
nine yards a game. He's averaging three point one yards
per carry. So something's going on. But also to be that.

Speaker 4 (09:48):
Concern to coordinated that that doesn't factor in at all
the offense offense they rank, I'm basically number one everything,
but but everybody's not the same, and everybody doesn't do
the jape job the same.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
The Lions high within the building, correct.

Speaker 1 (10:03):
You were mad at them higher through the building.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
I know, but I'm just saying, okay, but the new
offensive cord, I'm asking you you think it has anything
to do with with the one hundred.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Five yards less the game I've given you something.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
One hundred and five yards less is crazy being the
second rushing team and now you're not. It's crazy right now,
the twenty fifth rushing team. You go from second so
there's offensively something's wrong. But more concerning for me, Rob
because things happen, you can be down. It's early to see.
I understand that. But more concerning for me is what's
going on within the building. Is there some disconnect vibe wise,

(10:39):
chemistry wise, personally between AJ Brown and specifically Jalen Hurts.
We've gone through this last year and they were able
to work it out and you know, oh, we had
a Kumbaya moment. We talked it through. Then the book
comes out. Then we're going to this year. We've already
had two instances where AJ Brown is spoken up, well,
I don't know why the offense can't be better. I
don't know why we're not doing this, And I understand
it's frustration. He believes the top tier, top three receiver

(11:01):
and he's getting treated like he's a fourth fifth stringer
by not getting the ball. So I can understand his frustration.
Then you get the quiet DeVante Smith, who generally doesn't
say much. He's coming out and talking about it.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
So I'm one.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Now they just had to have a player's meeting, and
they're trying to say it wasn't like a typical player's
only meeting it was more of a friends getting together,
which I've been saying they should and stop telling us
as much.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
But I'm just concerned.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Is there something going on where they're not on the
same page and it starts to affect them within the
locker room.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
That's a big concern for me.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
If it were just had offensive down twenty thirty yards
a game from last year our new coordinator, things happened
down one hundred plus yards a game, is crazy, right,
I don't.

Speaker 4 (11:40):
I just want you to explain what what would be
to disconnect this. They're not new, So you're saying they
have a personal beef and that's why the numbers are down.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
I'm saying, you think that's.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Last year we had one hundred and some odd yards.
That was two weeks ago. Okay, so then the next
week he doesn't have and he comes out of talking
about it. But but that's what I'm saying. So it's
not like, uh Jalen Hirsch isn't throwing them the ball
because they got a perfect personal beef. I don't know
where the personal part would have to be because it personal.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
Person answer it personal doesn't have to be you call
my girlfriend of this per's going to be I don't
like the way you play.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
I don't like the.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
Way you're two weeks ago, and then so he threw
to them that week.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
But you know, but I'm asking.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
You know where he is where he should be in.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Comparison to one hundred million dollars receiver.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
It's not where you should be because the goal is
to win football game.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
Clearly, you're saying, get that.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Clearly, that's not that. Clearly, that's not the goal with
a J.

Speaker 1 (12:42):
Brown.

Speaker 4 (12:42):
No, that's fine, but that's a J. Brown clearly and
get the ball. That doesn't mean that that's the right
way to do it.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
I'm saying that clearly. I talked about I wish he
would handle a difference.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
I've said it.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
But what I think he's saying is we can't continue
to operate. When you look at Super Bowl champion teams,
they usually are in the top five offensively. Over the
last decade or so, they usually finish in the top five.
Last year, the Eagles were a top seven scoring in
a top seven after year five, You're.

Speaker 4 (13:14):
You're saying that that they have no shot to move
up or get better after five weeks offensively.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
Yeah, Oh, I don't think they'll get you don't go
one hundred and seven one hundred.

Speaker 4 (13:24):
They're not gonna get any better off. They can get better.
That they can get better.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
That's what makes it weird.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Rob.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
If I told you I just don't get the hard
I don't. That's where I disagree with you.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
I understand the struggles, but I also know that teams
struggle sometimes to start a.

Speaker 3 (13:40):
See year at the year between those guys. No, but
that's fine.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
He'll never be satisfied unless you okay, So he's one
of those guys. And there are a lot of receivers
who they don't care about anything. They just want the
ball and that's all. So that I get that that's
a diva mentality. I don't see anything from Jalen Hurts
that would make this personal, like he's deliberately going away
and it would be something if two weeks ago he

(14:05):
didn't throw for over get over one hundred yards in passing.
And that's my point is that, yes, has it's been
spotty up and down. I just don't think it's personal.
And if they continue to lose, if they win today
and they have a comfortable win, now what Okay, they
should beat the giants, and.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
I just don't you think but a question? Don't you
think that's problematic? I get what you're saying. I totally get.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
If they play well and win the night, what was
the story? What was the the story. Let's say they
play well and win.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
But AJ Brown gets two receptions for AJ Brown problem.
And that's what I'm saying, there's something going on. I'm
saying it as if I'm saying Jalen Hurts is a
bad guy. Personally, I'm saying AJ has an issue with
Jalen because we've gone through this now for a couple
of seasons. Whether it be you aren't looking my way.
I also think there's a disconnect and what they view
as open. I think AJ Brown says anytime I run forward,

(14:57):
I'm open, Throw me the ball, whereas Jalen Hurts is
looking schematically, you know where's the separation? Are you getting
two three yards away from the defender? AJ Brown is
saying throw me the ball because the game you keep
referring to, he wasn't really open. They were just throwing
in the ball and he was deboing people. And that's
what he probably is saying, give me the ball, no
matter what. Don't worry about, well you didn't get separation,

(15:18):
Well you weren't deep enough in your round. Throw me
the ball, is what I think he's saying to Jalen.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine through the Eagles
offensive issues feel personal? Is there something more going on
beneath the surface between aj Brown and Jalen Hirsch will
continue that conversation next with you.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
It is The Odd Couple on a TV theme song.

search Odd Couple FSSR. And when You're Gonna throw off
At that point, he was, but he was mad at somebody.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
He ain't had enough, That's what Alex was saying in
the car with those cars just stopped.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yes, just move, just do it, just get out the way.
Luda had a song options at that point.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Yes, and I'm glad you didn't wait.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Yes, uh YouTube, check us out there subscribe, like comment,
be a part of the odd mob, all that good stuff.
All right, we're taking phone calls the Eagles. What seems
to be going on right now? They have to have
a player's meeting? Is there disconnect? Is personal things? Is
it beyond football?

Speaker 3 (17:37):
What do you mean?

Speaker 1 (17:38):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine On Fox.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
We got how about Willingham in Virginia. You're on the
odd couple? Fox Sports Radio? What's up Willingham?

Speaker 6 (17:45):
He took it one day at a time. See did
what I think? The problem is? Like this red here.
You know, once you win the Super Bowl, get just
hide you can get and I think, what's happening now
til you play so many games? I'm gonna just use
the wrappings for example, Tupac and Big You see what
I'm saying. Once they got like this right here, like, uh,

(18:05):
you got a receiver, you got a court that day,
you got a running back. See what the receiver is
doing like this? He got it brand that his contract
may have bonus. And then he had to do a
certain amount of catches, you know, for the season something
like that. They got to keep this sacked and stuff up.
If he ain't getting this stack. But the quarterback getting
his stack and the running back get this that. See

(18:26):
they called a little computersion with the thing. And then
you got a new offensive coordinator and then he ain't
called in the same play they normally call.

Speaker 4 (18:36):
Yeah, there's definitely a worker in centives.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
I want them incentives. Come on, I want in the
super Bowl. How about the super Bowl check you got
for that?

Speaker 4 (18:46):
That was last year? This year, let me give my
Scott in North Carolina. You're under the odd couple of
Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Scott?

Speaker 6 (18:54):
Guys?

Speaker 1 (18:54):
How doing doing good?

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Buddy?

Speaker 12 (18:58):
I gotta tell you, man, this com think you about
my Eagles?

Speaker 6 (19:01):
Man, get repetitive.

Speaker 12 (19:02):
Man. First they say Jala hurtson the coach, you got
a problem. Now they say Jalen Hurts and the receiver
got a problem. We do have issues on offense. We
started off slow last year. We started off slow this year.
It's a full year for us to figure everything out.
We are the Super Bowl champs. Everybody's putting their best
cook forward against us. We're not as healthy. We don't
have that great old line that we had.

Speaker 4 (19:23):
Yes, progress but especially that old line last year was unbelievable,
both the offense and defense, but offensively like, Hey, let
me ask you this real quick.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
You as a fan, what I totally get like some
of the stuff you're saying, But why does it seem
like we're like, we don't have typically these conversations where
it does seem like something's going on regularly annually, like
two three times a year with the team.

Speaker 12 (19:47):
First of all, we in Philadelphia, the fans crazy, media
is crazy in Philadelphia, so there's always going to be
something going on. Secondly, we do.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
Have a problem with our offense.

Speaker 12 (19:55):
Our offensive line is not good. Taekwon Barkley is not
getting a production. Yeah, Jayl Hurts doesn't put the ball
in Harm's way. So I understand a j Brown getting mad,
But Jaylor isn't going to force him the ball and
he's going to stand by that principal.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
And I love it.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
I love it. Don't don't force the ball just to
make somebody happy. Dion in Texas, you're on the on
couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
What's up? Dion?

Speaker 13 (20:17):
Hey, what's up? Rob? What's up? Calvin?

Speaker 14 (20:19):
Thanks for having me. I will say this.

Speaker 13 (20:21):
Kellen Moore, they do miss him. Kellen Moore called a
better offensive game for Philly, and Kellen Moore kept them
in rhythm. I don't think I think the offense will
improve this this new coordinator that they have, he has
to put the team in a better position. But a J.
Brown Man, the spikee man four and one, he does
have some valid points. If it weren't for four drop
passes in week one and uh and two block field goals, man,

(20:43):
you'd be lucky to block a field goal once a year.
They blocked two in the same game against the Rams
and like that man in the same quarter, so they
they're four and more. Despite all that, Kel Hurts is
still the weakest link of that team.

Speaker 14 (20:56):
He got to be better.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
That's why it was the Super Bowl MVP last year
because he was. He was the weakest link.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
And that's what everybody said the game plan was last year.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
Okay, and guess what, And he won the Super Bowl
and he and he and he delivered every throw that
they needed, so you could be it. That's a great
week link to be. And I'll sit here all the
time all that talk.

Speaker 7 (21:18):
Oh you stop shrink one Barkley and you beat the Eagles,
cause that's all they are. Or then you would run
your ball, stop shake one and you'll win the Super Bowl, just.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
What it didn't happen?

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Did you want to put the camera on you? No,
That's why I thought we were ready with the camera
on me. All right, we got Mike Cameron on the way,
former MLB aus put the camera in on me.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
I get some dap on that man. Hey, hey, hey,
that was yesterday's news. Okay, Manti, will you hear from that?
He's cracked.

what's going on?

Speaker 3 (22:29):
What's happening in? Mike?

Speaker 6 (22:31):
What's up? Fellas are doing doing.

Speaker 4 (22:33):
Right October baseball. That's all that matters, right, Yeah, that.

Speaker 14 (22:38):
Is true when you're in it, definitely, that's how that matters.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Oh, definitely, no doubt about it. I want to start
with your former Seattle Mariners and their big game tomorrow
against the Tigers, and Mike Cameron of course, had the
he was traded for Ken Griffy Junior.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
Yeah, I mean talk about that. I'll be bringing that
up for no reason. The party want you to know that.

Speaker 14 (23:08):
Uh Man, anytime you know, you get traded at for
a killer in the game, Man, it's it's always something
that I can always look back on. But at the time, man,
it was. It wasn't good for my mentalis of the situation.
But other than that, you know, it worked out good.
I'm glad you got a chance to play in Seattle

(23:28):
because now that is a part of my my home.
That's you know.

Speaker 6 (23:32):
I actually worked for.

Speaker 14 (23:33):
The teams, so you know, and so I got a
chance to really get my identity out in Seattle after
chasing the chasing the ghosts of Ken Griffey Junior around
out there and kind of made my own and the
people took me in, man, and everything worked out well,
you know we were, we had a good team, we
want a lot. Uh. We just then couldn't clips the

(23:54):
championship mode because of those those brutal Yankees back.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
There, you go, right, they were always in the way,
always somehow.

Speaker 3 (24:02):
But now Seattle has a team.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
I mean, they have a chance to beat the Tigers
at home game five and I don't know what it
is u schoobl against the Mariners is owing three yeah, yeah, with.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
An eer ray of almost four and a half or something.

Speaker 4 (24:17):
How big would that be if they could beat Tyrek Schoobell,
you know, to get to the ALCS.

Speaker 14 (24:23):
I mean, one thing to do is to beat him
four times is gonna be a tough task. I mean,
just going up and gets him in general is a
tough task.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Man.

Speaker 14 (24:30):
That's the reason why he's been, you know, previously young
winner and been as good as he's been over the
last few years, because he has that type of stuff
to dominate the lineup at any given time. And I
just think that in our sense that sometimes you know,
players or teams can have your number, and only thing

(24:51):
you can do in his last game here is try
to try to outlast Schoogle without giving up too much.
To the Tigers. But I know they're gonna be confident
coming in there because they have the best picture as
of now, right now, the best picture in the league,
you know, starting for them. And so it's gonna be
a tough fat man and that. But this is what
it's all about, man, It's what it takes all and

(25:14):
it's versus the best.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
And you know that place is going to be lit.
That place is going to be lit in Seattle, you
know that, Mike.

Speaker 14 (25:22):
Oh man, it's gonna be crazy, man. You know, Seattle
is always crazy anyway, you know, because of the history
only getting there a few times and then it's just
been like a very dry spell for many years. And
now these people have a chance not only have a
team to beat the Detroit Tigers in this uh aods,

(25:42):
but also feel really good about the chances of possibly,
you know, playing the Alcs against Toronto and in the
World Series. Just the type of roster that they have
now that's capable of doing that. And it all starts
on the mound. Every every game is started by the
momentum is started by the starting pitcher. And so if
you can do that and try to outlast you know,
one of their great guys over there, you're gonna give

(26:05):
yourself a pretty good chance, especially being at home.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Well, you mentioned I actually even though you know, I
was rooting for my Tigers, but I picked the Mariners
to get to the World Series, So you know, uh
me really this?

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (26:16):
Remember, yeah, I had the Dodgers Mariners. What I had
Dodgers Mariners and Dodgers winning it. Let me ask you this.
You mentioned obviously the chance to competing for a chance
to go and play the Blue Jays, who just beat
the Yankees. So what what about the blue Jays are
they'll be ignoring them? Obviously we saw with Guerrero Junior
Daddy was going crazy during.

Speaker 3 (26:36):
That small team. But they've they how they pulled that off, Yeah,
beating the Yankees.

Speaker 14 (26:41):
They're just they're one of those teams, man, that that
everyone on the team seemed to put the ball in play.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
And there's nothing wrong. I know everyone lives.

Speaker 14 (26:49):
And downs with the loan ball, but before you hit
the loan ball, you gotta make contacts. And this is
what that team does that they don't get out of
side of who they are.

Speaker 6 (26:57):
Uh.

Speaker 14 (26:57):
And they got like the some young guys. Bullpen and
his starters guys are blowing a hundred and doing everything. Man,
so they got they give you different looks from that perspective.
But you know, and they also got a couple of
guys around Guerrero Junr. Where you got to pitch to him.
You can make your choice as to what you want
to do and U but he I couldn't believe how

(27:18):
much the Yankee Yankees were pitching it to him, because
Guerrero is not one of those guys that's just trying
to go up and hit bombs. He'll hit the ball
on the first baby, yet doubles these line drives and
he puts the ball in play. And they don't chase
a lot either. So when you get a combination of
those type of things, you put a lot of pressure
on the defense and a lot of pressure on the pitching.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
I wonder about Anthony Volpi, the Yankee shorts, Yeah, and
whether or not he was hurt this year, Mike, because
you want to talk about a fall off like by epic.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Proportion, and you saw it this year.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
Fielding wise, he made a ton of errors at one point,
didn't he stopped with that? This playoff series against Toronto,
I think he struck out every time except two or
three times I had to play. He struck out like
over twelve times in this series. Does he look hurt.

Speaker 3 (28:09):
Or something or what it was? How could somebody fall
off like that?

Speaker 14 (28:14):
Well, I'll tell you what, Rob, you know, just looking
at it, you know, and then being an ex player
and just kind of like understanding of what's on the
diamond and what goes behind the scene. You know. I've
always been a fan of Bilopi. But but on defense,
you playing short side, you've got to catch him fall.
And I think he got a little bit lazy with
his footwork. And then I heard then I heard he

(28:35):
had like an injury or something like that. So psychologically,
when you get an injury, mom it makes you feel
like you've got to do something different at the playton
whether it in his case, it was like he had
to speed up some. And he also has some mechanical flaws,
and he also chases. So you can't have all three
of those things come together and think you're going to

(28:56):
have success in the big leagues, especially now with the
way these guys are through or baseball, you know, one
hundred plus mile now ninety seven at least ninety six
to one hundred miles now he on every single day.
I think the one thing Bilopi tried to do was
he tried to become I think he had a twenty
twenty season and then everybody thought that he was supposed to,
you know, hit, become a home run right, And this

(29:19):
is really They brought him up really early, and so
it takes a couple of years for young players to
gain from that bats and get a feel for who
you are as a player. And by him coming up,
young come in coming in to play short stuff for
the New York Yankees, and they are always on goal,
trying to win the crowd in the in the fan

(29:42):
base really jumped on him because man like, we're trying
to win games and we're playing at a deficit because
of the way the young players slam. But in reality,
it just takes time to mature as a player. Also,
I think he still is on like twenty three or
twenty four years old.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Was just so bet one for fifty one. Yeah, no
walks and eleven strikeouts.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
I mean that's you almost can you can't? You got
one quick one?

Speaker 1 (30:08):
Yeah, real quick for We got about it about a
minute here, Mike. Let me ask you this we've kind
of talked on the playoffs. One of the things that
happening last week or so, we get the announcement about
the abs automatic balls and strikes. You in on it.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
You like it. You think it's good for the game,
bad for the game.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
If you were still playing, you know, and you would
have a chance to challenge balls and strikes, what would
you would you like this idea?

Speaker 3 (30:29):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (30:29):
You know, just me being being a part of my
league system, being at player development and going down and
seeing it. Man, I think it's going to be a benefit.
You know, it's already hard enough for guys to actually
to judge the strike zone with with the velocity of
the balls coming in and the smaller strike zone system.
So I just think that helping guys get it right.
I don't think it's gonna be a problem. I think

(30:49):
the guys are just to it a little bit better
because most of the young guys are coming up. I
think maybe the older guys that have a problem with it,
and some of the some of the veteran pitchers, But
for the most part, man, I think I think it's gonna.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
Be a good idea.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
Mike, Mike, here's this is what scares me really, and
I know we gotta go. One just scares me is
that you just have to nick that box and not
throw the ball over the plate.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
And I and I'm fearful. Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (31:12):
That that that, like the Star play, Old Tony's gonna
get called out on a ball that just nicked right
the corner of the box and not not really come
over the plate.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Is that?

Speaker 3 (31:24):
Am I being foolish thinking that?

Speaker 14 (31:28):
No, it's definitely gonna be a problem, such for guys
who've already established themselves in the big league and understanding
their strike zone, and now they're having pretty much a
a virtual strike zone for everyone. And I think that's
gonna be an issue in that case. But for the
most part, Man, the guys will adjust, they'll kind of
get used to it in a sense. But I think

(31:49):
the pitchers are going to manipulate the strike zone at
their best. But also it's gonna benefit some guys in
some of those quotes calls that we're not used to seeing.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
Right, We'll wait and see what it all happens.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Man, appreciate you.

Speaker 14 (32:04):
All right, fellas, y'all.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Take care, no doubt my cammera there, Mike m.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
I'll take that Eagles by ten aj Brown touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (34:06):
I'll do that, all right. I got the Phillies plus
one and a half. Of course he's all posted earlier.
There's no score.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
Phillies trying to get out of a little gym here,
first and second, two outs, first and third, two outs,
So a big moment here in the sixth inning, and
I have the Brewers minus one and a half, trying
to eliminate the Chicago comes tonight in Chicago.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
So that's the other one. So there you go.

Speaker 4 (34:33):
I got the Brewers minus one and a half, Phillies
plus one and a half, and the Eagles minus seven
and a half. And remember, Calvin, what's that. I'm not
telling you who to bet on. I'm telling you who
I bet on?

Speaker 3 (34:46):
All right?

Speaker 13 (34:47):
I do that?

Speaker 3 (34:48):
I did do that?

Speaker 2 (34:49):
I do that?

Speaker 3 (34:51):
Did I do that?

Speaker 1 (34:52):

Dan that was come back into it. Yeah, you know
he's had some big some big moments the last couple years.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Put a seventh no score in Los Angeles, a big
game the last three innings here, right because the Phillies,
if they win, they forced game five back in Philadelphia,
or they'll be popping champagne.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
You know, right around his time yesterday, doctor still in it.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
It was three to one and then uh, and then
Clayton Kershaw pitched. Oh that was not good.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
You were like, all right, three to one, still in
this thing, few innings left.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
I did pull out. Thanks was that Clayton Kershaw?

Speaker 1 (36:18):
I had it so good to know Dave Roberts did
not pull him out. Dave robers said, you go, you
gotta just sit there. You got to just take this one. Bro.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
That was a little brutal, I know.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
And after the game it was you knew how bad
it was because they called Clayton Kershaw raggedy Andy Rob.

Speaker 3 (36:38):
It was bad, man. She was all right.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Clayton Kershaw's coming out of the bullpen the very first pitch,
all right, like home run. You're like, all right, no,
it's ugly, all right, you know what? You know, he
got it out early, little rusty. You know, let him
love it a warm Okay, that's all right, because you know,
listen the next he definitely getting there. Okay, hold on, wait,
I calm down, take the breath. Here we go, here
we go quick.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
It was it was not pretty. It wasn't pretty. It
was like, yes, he is retiring after you know, it
was for whatever reasons.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
There were a little questions. It was season, what's that?
That's what he looked like, Peyton Manning, Peyton Peytment, just like, hey, defense,
bail us out on three one to that super Bowl
was a parting gift because he had like one hundred
yards in the Super Bowl. That was one thousand percent
of football gods being like, you know what you've done. Great,
You've been a great player, great ambassador.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
Here you go, and we figured since your next is
fused together, we'll let you win a super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Good one going on.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
Like you mentioned though, nothing nothing in this one picture
duel somebody, I mean you we were talking about off
the air show.

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Hey, show up. He's struggling struggle.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
After a couple of home runs earlier, he's been under
one sixty, so he's gonna have to show up. Somebody
it might be one of those games you get two runs,
no judge about it, five hundred and he did. I
ain't gonna lie, which is what's is crazy. We're gonna
get done that in just a moment that when he has,
you know, finally had a couple of moments at moments. Yeah, yeah,
it's like, dang, they fall short. So and then we're

(38:03):
not gonna get a Yankee Dodger rematch. We're you know,
possibly hoping for well.

Speaker 4 (38:07):
I don't think either team is gonna make it to
Dodgers Dodgers down.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
I got them, said, Dodgers, not the projects. Dodgers
