Speaker 1 (04:33):
And so man, I tell you what you know, how
many like how many kids in the neighborhood ran a
four four two flat when they heard that you're gonna

Mister? Hear that? And man, you've ruined that name. Murphy.
You officially ruined that name for you got some ice cream?
That's classic.

You treated him like guy on the couch and baked.
There's only two of you in there. Man, I'm just saying,

I got you back, I got you bro. All right,

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Look who's here? So why you gotta dry? Just said,
look who's here? Man means that he came in late?
Who is he? Robb say you look right? I didn't
say nothing. That was a dry I didn't even say anything.
He said, look who's here? I was talking about looking
at the game. Who stuck in late? Starting?
Speaker 7 (06:21):
Man?
Speaker 4 (06:21):
See how you do you? Robbed Hey Scott just saying
robb g, Robgie.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
You know you know as black people stick together, you know,
we stick together, you know you black you blacks because
you you be jumping in and out.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
We robb g until they put us out and then
you don't know what he completely, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
What's the UNTANNEDO. That's exactly be like, ah, that's a shame.
He alex shame, that's the shame. Y'all got let go.
That's crazy, man. But good luck. I see you later.
Yeah all right, rob guh. Yeah.
Speaker 8 (06:53):
So we got a big game tonight, right. We got
Commander's Packers, two teams that I think we can say
comfort believe they have Super Bowl aspirations, right, and everyone's
excited about it. The only difference is is that coming
up on Sunday, we got two teams who were actually
in the Super Bowl last season rematch Chiefs Eagles, Eagles.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Coming off a win Chiefs favorite in Kansas City.
Speaker 8 (07:17):
And that's that's notable because Rob I don't know if
you know this, but Jalen Hurts, who executives believe is
not that great. It's probably a tier two, tier three
type quarterback. Even though Super Bowl MVP anonymous execs old ESPN, I.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Don't know, which is crazy, rob G because think about
this Super Bowl MVP this past year. Yep, but the
first time he's in the Super Bowl he be balled out.
He had a great game. Other than that, he had
a tremendous game.
Speaker 8 (07:46):
And there are people who still say I don't even
know if he's a top ten quarterback. But you should
know heading into this game here on Sunday that Jalen
Hurts is one of the few quarterbacks who can ever
say that they've won their last two meetings against Patrick Mahomes,
and as you mentioned, is favored here heading into Sunday,
could be three in a row. Patrick Mahomes has never
(08:08):
lost three games in a row period. If he loses
on Sunday, it will have happened and two of them
will have been to Jalen Hurts. So here's the question, guys,
as we'll lead into Sunday showdown, is it fair to
say that Jalen Hurts not Lamar Jackson, not Josh Allen,
not even Joe Burrow. That Jalen Hurts is actually Patrick Mahomes'
(08:29):
top NFL quarterback rifle.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yes, it's on accurate. And this last super Bowl is
when it happened. And there's another factor I'm gonna get
into in one second. Jalen Hurts right now in Patrick
Mahomes are actually competing for their places in history. Right
They're competing for how great will my legacy be? How
(08:53):
many super Bowls will I have? How many will I
beat this guy? They're competing for the highest thing that
things that matter most. And what makes it interesting and
fun is that they're one up on each other. If
you're Jalen Hurts to your two to your point, Rob G,
I can say, hey, I've played better in two super
Bowls than the guy y'all keep saying his number one.
I played better than the guy that y'all at some
point we're saying could be the goat. So Jalen Hurts
(09:15):
has that in his favor conversation. But you know he
can say that, how did lige you get into this?
Speaker 4 (09:22):
But he's a Mahome sloppy.
Speaker 1 (09:23):
Yeah, well he absolutely can. He's had plenty of years
to continue to chase down the ghost status. The other
side of this, why I think it's actually hurts is
because now my eyes, I link Lamar Jackson and Josh
Allen together like that's the rivalry even more than to
me almost hurts and and and and Patrick Mahlmes. Lamar
Jackson and Josh Allen are both competing for multiple things.
(09:46):
They're now the who's gonna win the MVP this one
or this one? Who wanted lesser this one?
Speaker 4 (09:50):
This one? Who should have won the year before this
one or this one.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
They're competing for who's more electric, who does more, who's
more fun to watch? Those two guys, to me are
more linked. Who's the guy that can finally get by
Patrick Mahomes and get to a Super Bowl?
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Because neither I've been able to do that.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
So I think Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen are their
own rivalry, while now we have one with Jalen Hurts
and Patrick Mahomes, the guys who are competing for the
top ultimate champ I think prize that matters the most
with your championships and ultimately Super Bowl MVPs. So those
are my two separate rivalries. Those two Hurts and Mahomes,
Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson. That's how I view it, those two,
(10:29):
those two I disagree.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
I think that it's naturally Lamar and Josh Allen because
they were in the same AFC and only one quarterback
can come out of that, and that's what they're looking at,
Like you got the Jalen Hurts and but he's in
the NFC, so he really that doesn't really affect whether
or not what he's does in the NFL effects Patrick
(10:52):
Mahomes getting there, even though he's beating him a.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Couple of times.
Speaker 3 (10:55):
The real rivalry is who in the AFC like the
Peyton the reason Peyton mat and Tom Brady both in
the AFC, both trying to get out there, both trying
to get to the super Bowl. So that's where that
links them together, and I think that's what people talk about.
I understand that they've played in big game, super Bowl
and they're one and one and and and and Jalen's
(11:15):
beating him a couple of times, but ultimately it's Lamar
trying to be you know, get to the super Bowl
in the AFC, whether you go through Josh Allen or
whether you go through uh, Patrick Mahomes and I think
that's why they're more of a natural rivalry because they're
in the same UH conference and that and that's why
(11:36):
I brought up the Brady You see what I'm saying,
like the Bradys because because it's because that's the only
way I can get to the super Bowl, which is
your goal is to get to the super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
Who's in my way? Uh?
Speaker 3 (11:48):
When Michael Jordan was in the Eastern Conference right and
and he had to get through the Pistons and the
Celtics like they were in his way? So who was
your rival the Pistons and the Celtics because you were
trying to beat them and get there.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
But this is where this is where I push back.
I get your point, because it's natural we're gonna play
a lot. But the greatest rival we all loved in
the eighties was the Lakers Celtics, and they were in
different conferences because they ultimately knew they were competing for
the biggest prize championship. But I think individual place, But
what if we get there, Jalen Hurts and Patrick get
there again. Maybe it's not this year, but maybe it's
(12:21):
next year. Now that would be three and what four
or five years for you, what if they don't they
compete it.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
I just think that you have more chances of over
the next eight years of Lamar coming up against Patrick Mahomes,
Lamar coming up against Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, who's already
beaten Patrick Mahomes a couple times, including once to go
to the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
Those are the natural. So it's those four.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
I know we even mentioned Joe Burrow, but that's really
because his team right now, with the defense, it's hard
to look at them and think they're.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Going on the exactly as the other four teams. Right.
So that's why I think all those quarterbacks, you look
at the AFC GOO and how we gonna get to
you know what I mean, to the Super Bowl? Get
four guys there.
Speaker 1 (13:04):
I just think for me, this is Game five this Sunday.
Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes are two and two regular
season in both one one and then also in the
Super Bowl they both won one. So this Sunday will
be Game five to break the records too. Who has
the lead? And I just think that's a right. But
we got five games in now, two of them were
in the Super Bowl. I beat you, you beat me.
(13:25):
We're both competing super Bowl MVPs. I mean, I just
think that is it because again I start to look
at it as you guys are competing for the ultimate goal,
and in the next three to four years, there's no
chance to say those guys might meet one two more times.
And to me, that would be amazing that we had
two guys competing super Bowls a handful of times, you know,
almost like if we got one more Elion and Tom Brady,
(13:48):
you know what I mean, like a trilogy or that,
that would have been awesome like that we would put
them guys. It's like, man, look at Eli and Tom
Brady going at it because they met three times in
the Super Bowl. So that to me is the difference
is they're competing for a higher thing. The other two
are just compete to even get to the thing, the
super Bowl. But I get what you're saying the AFC.
I just look at it maybe almost like a Laker Celtics.
To me, we're competing at the championship level.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
All right. I want to give a quick shout out
to Mike Harge.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
He's a radio talk show host and he loves the
odd couple Mike Carts shout out to Mike. Yes, no
shout and he has his own show, The Morning Kickoff.

say thank you for me a phrase.
Speaker 4 (16:30):
Boom boom. This is top three. It's just top three
three you don't agree with the other one. And if
you go top five, it's top three top three.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
It is hard, though, because it's easy, because this is
Jefferson's Is that top three?
Speaker 4 (16:46):
See what I mean?
Speaker 1 (16:47):
And then we all except you believe Fresh Prince is
in the top top No, that's number one.
Speaker 4 (16:51):
That's not one. Cheers has to be up there. Cheers
isn't in the top three.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
The only reason why Cheers isn't. It's amazing, we of it.

Do you dreams come true?
Speaker 3 (17:37):
I don't want to say that Monty's worried about the
camera when I saw came over no no, and wiped
off the lens.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
I'm just saying that.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
What I say, I'm not gonna say nothing that they
came in here her and Bri.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Was like, I did not do that.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
I did not wipe the lens.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
No, I did not.
Speaker 4 (17:53):
I just I asked about the camera. I just said,
why are you bringing reinforcements?
Speaker 2 (17:58):
What do you mean reinforcement?
Speaker 4 (18:00):
What do you mean? What do I mean? Eight sex?
Speaker 3 (18:05):
That's why Shack and Rich Virginia you're in the yard couple,
Fox Sports Radio, no mumbling?
Speaker 4 (18:11):
How are you shacked? Patrick Mahomes the best?
Speaker 3 (18:14):
God?
Speaker 4 (18:14):
How you been where you've been?
Speaker 10 (18:18):
I've been. I've been working man. I was actually out
in uh. I was doing in San Diego a couple
of months ago for work. Oh nice, okay, working in
chilling Man government contract?
Speaker 7 (18:26):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (18:27):
What's up you doing that? When you got going? Man?
Who you gonna pick? Man? What's the best?
Speaker 7 (18:30):
Rible man?
Speaker 10 (18:32):
I also think actually I got like a three lists
like Alan first, Lamar second, brough Of third. I don't
really consider like hers his roval. It's kind of weird,
like the Eli and Brady thing I think y'all kind
of alluded to, but like it was more like Hayton
Manning was his.
Speaker 3 (18:49):
Rob That was sure, yeah, because they were both the
same conference.
Speaker 10 (18:54):
Hey, Kevi, but I see where you were going with
the magic and bird thing, but only the big difference
Elephant and the they counservated that in college in the
in the championship game too, so a carryover. So it's
a little different. I would go Alan Lamar and Burrow though,
and hurts is more it's kind of like they're not
a guarantee that they'll get back, but like those four
(19:15):
quarterbacks in the AFC, they gonna meet like eventually at.
Speaker 3 (19:19):
Some point every playoff, there's some big game with those
guys being involved, no doubt. Thanks appreciate you. Man appreciated
Scott in North Kakilaki. You're on the odd couple of
Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Scott?
Speaker 11 (19:32):
What's up? I appreciate you'all taking them off, cause no
doubt I'd say Dayling hurts only because the standpoint from
Pats Mahomes is like every high leverage situation that Lamar,
Jackson and Josh Allen played them, they lost. So I mean,
how can that be a rival when they lost every
single time against them?
Speaker 3 (19:52):
But Joe Burrow's in there, He's beating them at one
time when they call it burrow head is what they
would call in the stadium.
Speaker 11 (19:58):
On that a little bit, Yeah, I mean his team
is weakens.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
Is now it is now? It is but he beat
Patrick Maholmes. I'm just saying, didn't he a couple of times?
Speaker 10 (20:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Okay? And I don't know.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
I just think he got he got to work right now.
He's gotta worry about September. Get off to a good September.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Drew in New Jersey, You're on the odd couple of
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
What's up, Drew?
Speaker 7 (20:23):
Hey, I think I agree with the first Carler. I
would go Josh Deed Lamar and uh, we're also I
think that what's interesting. I felt like there was a
lot of confirmation bias with Jalen Hurts. I feel like
we everyone loves Jalen Hurts, you know, his personality everything.
I felt like we wanted just a moment, right and
(20:44):
I felt like when you look at Flacco's Super Bowl
run and you look at Eli Manning's two super Bowl runs,
I don't remember I don't remember them getting that same
level of Hey, this guy's definitely a top five, top
ten quarterback. Where I think there's a huge gap between
Lamar and Josh Allen then Jalen Hurts. I don't think
(21:04):
they're remotely similar to these guys are superheroes. This guy's
the game manager.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
I think you know what you might appreciate this is
he gives me Terry Bradshaw. We don't give Terry Bradshaw
and reason, yeah, we don't consider him one of those ones.
But he played to the team, they found their way
to win, and he got four rings.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
I think Jalen comes in because and this is just me,
because of what happened in college when you lose your
job and you get kicked to the side and they
picked somebody else. And now he's gone a long way
to re establish that. But not too many great quarterbacks
in favor of him. That attraction is that you look
(21:44):
at him rob g Does that make sense?
Speaker 4 (21:46):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (21:47):
Like like he was in college and they decided to
go with somebody else, but he went and picked himself up,
went somewhere else.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
But that's why I thought that was his story has
been great. He went and Oklahoma, but he still lost
his gig. And I think that's why. Why did he
lose his gig? The coach didn't think he was good enough,
do you know what I mean? Like that, like but
in that and that a Hallmark movie, and then he
goes he's been at two Super Bowls, already.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
I'm not talking about that. I'm just saying I think
that's why people look at him a little differently.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
That's all. I thought. That was great of him to
be able to do that. No, that's not that I
don't think you understand what I'm saying. I do. You're
saying that he's not that guy.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
He lost job well, and I think that you can't
name other guys who are top tier quarterbacks who lost
their jobs in college.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Joe Burrow, Joe Burrow.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
That's why don't I don't look at Joe Burrow that
way because I don't think he was that touted.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
But anyway, all right, there you have it. We got
man on the way right now. I'm gonna get you
said with Trending and Sean Porter. We'll talk some boxing

Use as directed.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
Our guests now might have needed in a leave time
or two because boxing is a tough sport.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Showtime.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
Sean Porter is our guest, two time welterweight boxing champions
Showtime schampete on X Sean, what's up?
Speaker 6 (23:32):
Man?
Speaker 12 (23:33):
What everybody?
Speaker 4 (23:35):
We're doing great?
Speaker 3 (23:36):
Before we get to the boxing real quick, this is
a TV theme song Thursday. What's your favorite TV theme
song that you've used to like to hear when shows
came on?
Speaker 12 (23:45):
Oh? Man, you hit me with one? Maybe em what with.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Not good times?
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Jeffers says he's a young guy, but so he's gonna say.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
My answer is gonna be fresh.
Speaker 12 (23:58):
Prince of Belist friends, there it is to be fresh.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Print told you Rob, Rob, as soon as you're here, dude,
do do do do do No?
Speaker 4 (24:07):
You just go in, You just go.
Speaker 12 (24:09):
In, all right, I'm not even gonna lie. I choked you.
So there it is.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Hey, Hey, Sean, let's let me ask you this let's
get straight into it. Man.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
We got a big, big fight, and I would argue
it's a fight that back in the eighties, back in
the nineties, even early two thousands would have been normal,
right par for the course, we would get Canelo and
we got butt Craft for this would be hey, the
best of the best of fighting.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
So let's just start there.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
How thirsty the fan base is for a fight like
this and how big it is to have it actually happen.
Speaker 12 (24:37):
Yeah, this one is big. You know. You got Canelo,
possibly the greatest Mexican fight of all time at this point,
and you got Chance Crawford, who I think has become
a new fan favorite in the last like maybe two years,
year and a half to two years. And I think
that collectively that's what really helped make this fight happen.
There's no one else for either of these guys outside
(24:59):
of the the pony that they're getting in the ring with.
You know. So it's big. It's big for boxing right now,
and I think people are starting to appreciate it more
and more the closer we get.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
What kind of fight are you expecting? Is this some
Is this a knockout fight? Is this a distance fight?
What kind of fight.
Speaker 12 (25:16):
I think it's a distance fight. I think both guys
know how to manage the clock very well. I think
both guys have the ability to land that touch at
the perfect time, and usually it takes several rounds in
order to create those kind of moments. So if it
ends early, I think if Canelo in and it early,
(25:37):
if it ends late, it's gonna be uh sah carper
in in the late.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
All right, let's go here to one more real quick
on this on this fight, I wanted to ask you
real quick, how much do you think when you have
these outside force It's kind of like we see with
the live golf and we're having the Saudi Arabia. I
think the prints there jumping in saying I want to
be the one to save boxing and I'm gonna put
a bunch of money in your pocket.
Speaker 4 (25:57):
I want you all to fight. Do you think that's
good for the sport?
Speaker 1 (26:00):
Or maybe you don't that we don't have it being
happening here in the States.
Speaker 12 (26:05):
And been able to create some fights that I think
the world has really wanted. Not the exact fight that
we wanted, but we've got to think a plethora of them.
I think it all has to be managed better than
it has been, respectfully, and I think that his excellency
knows that he puts a lot more money into this
(26:27):
than he should have. But I think he also felt like, Hey,
I'm coming in here and I really want people to
take me serious, and if it means as much money,
I'm willing to do it. So all in all, I
think it's gonna work out for him, and I'm looking
forward to what the future looks like.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Well, how about fights that we don't want to see,
even if they're exhibitions. I mean, Tyson Mayweather, I mean please, like,
like seriously, I mean, oh no, man, I mean, Sean,
this is terrible. We said it on the show. Do
not endorsed us, do not watch this to and I
give this credence. This is it's awful. I know it's
(27:03):
an exhibition, but why it's just the money grabs.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
Sean. It's bad for boxing.
Speaker 12 (27:08):
I'm gonna tell you this right now. Please let that
be the last time you say that on air. This
is what I've learned about boxing. Boxing is gonna give
you what whether you like it or not. Tickets are
still gonna be sold. The fight is still gonna happen.
There's still gonna be this pay per view moment and
all that kind of stuff that happens. Worst thing you
(27:30):
guys could do is hinder the sales because you don't
agree with it. You gotta let people who agree with
it go for it. The people that But I think
at the end of the day, it's our job to
sell it. It's our jobs to make people believe in it.
Whether we believe in it or believe in it or not,
it's a part of life, and I think that, you know,
(27:51):
it's something that we all have to, you know, just
suck up and deal with.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
Really, Sean, really, I'm surprised.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
I'm surprised you would say that seriously, because it does
hurt the credibility of Box. And the last time Mike
Tyson was there, the biggest thing we saw was his backside.
I mean, there was nothing else going on, and people
were people left there disappointed, like people really bought in
thought look at Mike Tyson. Don't you see them training videos?
(28:19):
Oh man, it looks great. For sixty people bet more
money on Mike Tyson in Vegas.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
They got duped.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
That's what I'm saying, Like that, that's the issue I
hear you. You're right people who want to waste their money.
There's the tallest building in Detroit is the Panop Scott.
I always say that you're better off taking that that
money going to the top of the panop Scott building
and throwing it off.
Speaker 4 (28:43):
Seriously, this is.
Speaker 12 (28:45):
This is what I'm saying about it. So there's lane
in boxing, the same wings lanes and football. And football
is TV, it's high school, it's college, it's Canada League, NFL.
We got other leagues around the world, you know, So
there's a lane for this. The problem is Buxton has
never established each specific lanes, which is why you get
(29:08):
an exhibition happening. If people don't know it's just really
for points, it can there really be a knockout? And
is somebody actually gonna get their hand? Rais that's buxton
thought from not creating these lanes and making sure that
people understand these lanes are established. This in a lane
for two iconic fighters and for whatever reason in the world,
(29:30):
have chosen to get in the ring with one another.
The thing that I do like about this is the
fact that they are on record for not liking one another.
I like that about this. I don't care what you
gotta say to me. There's an element to this fighte specifically,
or this exhibition specifically, that is an in most boxing matches.
Speaker 4 (29:52):
Tell you something you don't know the side of it. Now,
on the side of.
Speaker 3 (29:56):
Sean, I want you to look up an addiction. I
want you to, Sean, I want you to look up
in the dictionary the word fraud.
Speaker 4 (30:04):
Okay, that's what I want you to look up.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
On the other side of it, now, Audulant and the
consumer uh, they're gonna be the Consumer.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
Protection Agency is gonna be involved. This is straight up fraud.
That's what it is.
Speaker 12 (30:16):
Right. So here's the difference between me and you. I
have the Porto Ray podcast. You guys like subscribe follow
all the good stuff, the Porto Ray podcast, the entertainment podcast,
but it revolves around boxing. But that means is no
matter what the odd couple, y'all can do whatever y'all
want to do, I still have to cover this.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
Hey, you know what, and I'll give you some credit. Sean.
You brought up a great point.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
I really do. I really do like your point about lanes.
Whereas we know what you're gonna get right. Certain things
in the NBA, you got the g League got this boxing.
That's interesting. I kind of get what you're saying. Hey,
this is just the entertainment side of it. This is
the real boxing. Last question for me, then then back
to the real boxing. Are we getting back to where
we're gonna see the best of the best square up?
Or do I gotta wait till they're both in their
(31:04):
late thirties or or you know, can I get it now?
And if so, who's up next that we can see
where they're gonna start fighting.
Speaker 12 (31:10):
That's a great question. I think the one that that
Kobe Upnet that I really like. I'm hearing Telle female
Lopez might be getting in the ring with Frank gar
I think that's the one I heard most recently, and
I really like that fight. I think there's a lot
of big fights to be made, but I think it's
we're a bit of ways away from getting these fights consistently.
(31:31):
I think that the reason why we got so many
big fights consistently is because his excellency was trying to
establish it it's face in boxing. What that's done, I'm
not sure what the what the what the business model
is gonna be. It could be him still throwing a
lot of money at the big the big fights that
(31:52):
that that are down the line. But I can't guarantee
that for you guys, but let's let's just cross our fingers.
I hope that that is all right.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Well, I'm I feel it's gonna be a rough podcast
after the fight.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
We're gonna listen to it, though, We're gonna listen.
Speaker 9 (32:07):
Appreciate you, listen you got I had Christy sard on yesterday.
Speaker 12 (32:14):
You have to take a look at that show.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
All right, Well do that Who was that guy? He
used to have a show?
Speaker 7 (32:18):
He did?
Speaker 4 (32:19):
Yeah? I think so.
Speaker 1 (32:20):
I love it, but I liked it all right, Sea,
thank you. Appreciate you man, no doubt, no doubt. Of
course you got that big fight happening this weekend should
be a good one for sure.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
All right.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
We got Play of the Day and shecheckl City on
the way. Plus we gotta get you ready for Thursday
night football. It's a good one, man. Remember Thursday nights
used to be trash. We got a good one going on.

Here Mookie pits on a three to zero pitch.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
It is eight to nothing, Mookie Betts right there, Dodgers

not resetting.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
Boom Parker against the Scroll.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
Tonight with a bounce back TV theme song Thursday. What
if you just do the opposite of what you think?
Speaker 3 (35:17):
No, No, no, Packers minus three uh hosting the Commanders
Packers minus three.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
That's my best bet. I got the Yankees minus one
and a half. They keep doing you in man.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Yes, Yankees minus one and a half at home taking
on the Tigers. Yes, And I got the Padres minus one,
and the Padres keep doing me into But I just
figured like they gotta win.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
To some point. No, they don't know. That's like gambling.
I just gotta be my hand, right, come on, I
know you think that.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
All right.
Speaker 3 (35:49):
Here we go Padres minus one and a half, Yankees
minus one and a half, and the Packers minus three.
And remember, I'm not telling you who to bet on.
I'm telling you who I bet on. All right, Speaking
of we're talking about games. We got a good one.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
You said you're going with the Packers, who are at
home hosting the Commanders favored by three. But this is
this a good I mean this could be an NFC
championship matchup.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
You know a lot of people are big on both teams.
Speaker 1 (36:14):
Both look good week one, But I like this man,
two young quarterbacks who are making names for themselves. If
you're the Packers, you gotta get after Jaydon Daniels my goodness,
because he is just efficient. He is a hyper completion percentage,
and obviously he's mobile as heck, so if you're the Packers,
you want to do that. And I also wonder too,
Rob michauld play what twenty nine snaps so that I
(36:37):
think sixty sixty six. I'm wondering where he is this week?
You know, will he be basically one hundred percent of
the snaps he.
Speaker 4 (36:42):
Should be in? Will he be there?
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Will he be I don't think he's having five percent
working in. That'll be an interesting thing for me because
he's the type of guy you're gonna need the speeds.
They're on the outside chasing the Jaydon Daniels around, so
that'll be an interesting watch there.
Speaker 4 (36:56):
I just think this will be interesting.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
I know the Packers are missing a couple of offensive lines,
but just the idea of, you know where they are,
to come off the big win against the Lions at home,
chance to beat a good team at home, This would
be a great starter.
Speaker 4 (37:10):
Are you kidding?
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Two teams that were vying last year that were in
the playoffs, the Lions and Washington, So if they were
able to win those first two games, it would put
them in a great starting spot. It's tough, that's what
only three point. Favorite is kind of like the average
when you're at home. So it's not like people are saying, oh, yeah,
for sure that they're gonna steamroll Washington. I don't think
(37:32):
it's that at all. But it's a big it's a
big game to just see how that thing plays out.
Speaker 4 (37:37):
Yeah, oh for sure.
Speaker 1 (37:38):
And also to see the Lions play and the Packers played,
to kind of see, well, the Packers just juiced up.
They're at home, they get Micah. It's the team that
has been beating them up, you know, and obviously in
the Lions. And also are the Lions were they that
bad or do they regrets? So I mean, you know,
get better. So I mean interesting to see if the
(37:58):
Packers were like on an ultimate high or if this
is just who they are this season, like watch out
for them the world beaters. And two going back to
the earlier point too, these are two quarterbacks who obviously
the franchises like, we've got our guys. The Packers already
paid theirs, they're all in. They just gave Micah a
bag of money big for non because they're saying, hey man,
we believe in this team, this roster, and you know,
(38:20):
we believe we have a you know, maybe a three
to five year window of getting some things done.
Speaker 4 (38:24):
So they're all in.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
The Packers have done everything, they're at all the chips
are in and then even the uh the commanders, Deebo
looked right. We were wondering would he be okay, would
he be healthy with howould they use him? And Deebo
we looked good last week as well, So they got
another weapon for Jane and Daniels. They were able to
get McLaurin back in obviously, get his his main weapon,
get him in the fold.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
You know, he had to hold out.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
So both teams are all in and they're feeling like
this is they're not wasting time.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
This is a season to go make some things happen. Yeah,
this is this is an interesting game. If the Packers
roll they like they'd be the Legiti teams like like
run them out of the yard of what you got
to start looking at them and going to and on
at home. Two really big wins, and they have to
go in with even more confidence as they continue to
play some of the other teams because those are been
(39:11):
to start the year, you easily could have been owing.
Speaker 1 (39:14):
To you actually want to pull up these you're gonna
pull up the Packers schedule the remainder, just to see
kind of how they their start could potentially be. Uh,
because you mentioned, I mean, you got the Lions, that
would be a good one if you obviously beat the Commanders.
They are who they got after that, then they got
the Browns and Cowboys so and then the Bengals. They
got a few lighter ones after this. We gotta keep
talking about Jay and Daniels next
