Jordan Love has already been a good quarterback with some issues,

but the team's made the postseason. The team smacked you
up a couple of seasons ago in the postseason to
the two and a forty plus points, and so now
you just gave a team that's coming back hungrier, that's
coming back healthier, that already have some nice pieces who
were getting right into their entering the beginning of their prime.

And then you just gave them right in the middle

Prime, arguably one of the two three best defensive players
in the league. So to me, he just opened up
the window for Jordan Love in the Packers. That defense
was already top six and scoring last year, top ten
in just every other stat You got Jordan Love coming
back to knowing and understanding that now that he has
a great defense, what are the one concerns about Jordan Love?
He could really throw it down the field, he really

gets the ball out far, but he turned the ball
over a little bit more than you care for. Well,
if I got a great defense, I'm okay tucking a
little bit. I'm okay dunking it down and living and
play another day because I got a great defense. And
the defense is achor by Micah, who's only reving up
right now. He played forty percent first game, played sixty
seven percent of the snaps. Game two, he got six pressures,

six or eight pressures, and he was then accounted for
a half a sack as well. So he's on the
big half sack. Hey, those pressures are getting crazy, and
he's coming. He's getting there faster and faster, and he's
getting more and more in tune of what that defensive
teams is. So to me, I get what he's saying.
Further on, maybe we can get a pick or two.
But he didn't even trade him early enough Rob to

just sitting there while the Packers are playing now and
playing some great football. So to me, he just opened
up the window for Dak I mean for Jordan Love
and the Packers extended their run and now they got

and my belief coming into it was I never thought
as much as Crawford wanted this fight, it was ever
gonna happen because I believed that Canelo Alvarez has nothing

to gain in this one other than a boatload of money. Obviously,
he'll do anything with a lot of money. But if
you just look at his resume and his history, you
go down the list, and the guy's already beaten Glovekin twice.
He's being Covid lab, he's beating the American, he's been
Miguel Coto like. He's run through divisions over and over
and over. He challenged himself by going up a division
he shouldn't have, which is something that Crawford's gonna do

here because he wanted to test himself against the bigger man,
the better man, so on and so forth. And my
question has always been, he's already the top draw in
the sport. He's already making a ton of money. His
legacy is basically cemented. What does he have to gain
by taking on a guy who is at a minimum
two weight classes lighter? And with all due respect to

Bud Crawford, I think he's a great fighter. His only
real notable fight that anybody ever talks about is the
one against Spence, just because as great as he is,
he doesn't have that same marquee fight that everyone knows
and talks about. So my question was why would he
take this fight? Because if he wins, he's supposed to win.
He's the bigger guys, the more experienced guy. But if

he loses, then that changes everything it is.

And I'm just gonna what's do we know?

The persons like what they're getting because now people are
motivated by these big paydays and money Because I'm with you,
Rob G, like, like, it only hurts you if you lose,
like winning, why are you supposed to win?

the financial terms, Rob G. So I just wonder what
the payday is to make him say, yeah, I gotta

a separation between him and Floyd. I think this is
where he can say, Floyd, I am emulating his business model, right,
I got with the zone, I'm doing all these big fights.

I do think Floyd has become the blueprint for a
lot of boxers in that regard, and really and a
lot of other sports as well. But I think he
is saying when people say, and even though it's you know,
ten twelve year difference, whatever the age is, but they
can say the best of the generation.

People can maybe say Canelo, because why, what's the thing
we say about Floyd? He didn't fight anybody, or he
didn't fight him at the right times. He waited, And
I think Canelo has that in his favor. You just
listed off some of those some really good fights he
fought Floyd, he fought others, you know, and now he's
fighting the only other person someone can say he has
been the best during his reign, and so to me,
this is a differentiator. You know what else, He had

a chance to fight Jake Paul, remember that was coming
out and everybody's like, oh man, why Cannelly could have
made crazy money.

I want to fight a real fighter who's still in
his prime, is still one of the best. The guy
people say, you know, if you look out the eye,
I don't know.

And so I think he's trying to say I have
respect for the sport integery with the sport integrity. I
have been a fighter. I fought everybody, and I want
to now continue to fight the best and maybe I
can try to save the sport. If it doesn't happen,
at least you can't say I didn't try, and then
that can be a differentiator, right, because that's how he's
gonna make stupid money.

Yeah, this is reported on the Sporting News. So according
to this report, Canalo's gonna make anywhere between one hundred
hundred and fifty.

By comparison, and this goes to show you about how
it's a one sided affair in terms of marketability. Bud
Crawford said on a podcast he's only making about ten
million for this fight.

they don't sweat him.

To your point, the spence that everyone was so excited
about that we went to that fight only got made
because Bud Crawfords had spent You're the big dog, You're
the guy who wants to see you take the majority.
I want the opportunity to fight you. Because he didn't
have any Marquis fights before. If he was fighting on ESPN,
he wasn't getting paid.

Why he's had for eight, nine, ten years. But some
money sounds low though, doesn't it? The only thing I'll
say he may have. And y'all know how these goes.

Look all these incentives, he may have some all the
incentives if the fight goes over fifty million viewed at
the same time you get by bah hey on the
back end between the ticket sales and the promotion said
that by that he'll so he might end up at
the end of it all making thirty million dollars. You know,
I'm just here is what you're peeking. Paid ten million
straight cash. However, on the backup, you know.

And then we'll mention too. Canelo was promised a minimum
of four hundred million dollars by Turkey the Shah if
he for a four fight deal or a five fight deal,
so minimum no matter who he fights. He fought Williams Scholl,
Rob if William School delivered a pizza to your house,
you have no idea who he was. No, he got
eighty million dollars.

For that fight. I would say, skull brother on that year.
You know what I'm saying.

So money, the money was gonna be there regardless, So
why take this far?

That's what I think. That's why. And here's the other
part of this. Guess what if he were to lose
to Crawford. There's not a single person that would be like,
that's a bad loss. You might be shocked, like I
thought he would win because he's heavier. It's not a
bad loss. And some people I talk today, they're all
about Crawford. They think that he's gonna win because Crawford
has been To Rob G's point, I'm not gonna act

like I watched every one of his fights, but I've
watched definitely a the vast majority, and I watched him
like I feel like the only his dude is incredible
technician power, you know, uh focus, I mean defensively counter
also can be an off. I'm like, this dude is amazing,
and I think this is his shot. That's why for him,

it's sus huge to finally be on the main stage,
if you will, not just being a great guy who
never got the big shot. But I think for for
again going back to Canelo, even if he loses, he
loses to Crawford, they both win because guess whoever want
to see the rematch? Everybody as long as Caneloe drop
him in the first round, some crazy you know, he
just overpowered him. This thing goes past eight rounds. It
(30:16):
doesn't matter who wins, and it's a good fight, and
they're fighting each other. This is gonna be a good
win for both of them and for Crawford, especially this
ten million guaranteed part. And then obviously we know the
back end that might go to twenty five the next
time with more on the back end.

Does the fact that Crawford is already thirty seven, how
much is that wat to this because Canelo, even though
Canelos much more experienced, much more, thirty five two years younger.
So is this Crawford saying, Hey, I'm already on my
way out the door.

Yeah, I mean this is my last best chance to
get for sure him Crawford. That makes total sense, right,
Oh yeah, I didn't. I thought you were asking the skill. No,
this is him absolutely, I've got to get me a
pay date. Okay. So then quickly with whether or were
up against it?

Why is this different where you saying, hey, Alfarez is
fighting Crawford and you know the knock on Floyd when
he fight everybody too late? It's basically the same ages
as when Floyd fought Manny and they'll knock on that
was well, you know, he found him when he was
laid and his shoulder was messed up. The idea, why
is that not a conversation with this fight?

Prime, arguably one of the two three best defensive players
in the league. So to me, he just opened up
the window for Jordan Love in the Packers. That defense
was already top six and scoring last year, top ten

back to knowing and understanding that now that he has
a great defense, what are the one concerns about Jordan Love?
He could really throw it down the field, he really

gets the ball out far, but he turned the ball
over a little bit more than you care for. Well,
if I got a great defense, I'm okay tucking a
little bit. I'm okay dunking it down and living and
play another day because I got a great defense. And
the defense is achor by Micah, who's only reving up
right now. He played forty percent first game, played sixty
seven percent of the snaps. Game two, he got six pressures,

six or eight pressures, and he was then accounted for
a half a sack as well. So he's on the
big half sack. Hey, those pressures are getting crazy, and
he's coming. He's getting there faster and faster, and he's
getting more and more in tune of what that defensive
teams is. So to me, I get what he's saying.
Further on, maybe we can get a pick or two.

playing some great football. So to me, he just opened
up the window for Dak I mean for Jordan Love

and my belief coming into it was I never thought
as much as Crawford wanted this fight, it was ever
gonna happen because I believed that Canelo Alvarez has nothing

to gain in this one other than a boatload of money. Obviously,
he'll do anything with a lot of money. But if
you just look at his resume and his history, you
go down the list, and the guy's already beaten Glovekin twice.
He's being Covid lab, he's beating the American, he's been
Miguel Coto like. He's run through divisions over and over
and over. He challenged himself by going up a division
he shouldn't have, which is something that Crawford's gonna do

here because he wanted to test himself against the bigger man,
the better man, so on and so forth. And my
question has always been, he's already the top draw in
the sport. He's already making a ton of money. His
legacy is basically cemented. What does he have to gain
by taking on a guy who is at a minimum
two weight classes lighter? And with all due respect to

Bud Crawford, I think he's a great fighter. His only
real notable fight that anybody ever talks about is the
one against Spence, just because as great as he is,
he doesn't have that same marquee fight that everyone knows
and talks about. So my question was why would he
take this fight? Because if he wins, he's supposed to win.
He's the bigger guys, the more experienced guy. But if

he loses, then that changes everything it is.

And I'm just gonna what's do we know?

The persons like what they're getting because now people are
motivated by these big paydays and money Because I'm with you,
Rob G, like, like, it only hurts you if you lose,

the financial terms, Rob G. So I just wonder what
the payday is to make him say, yeah, I gotta

a separation between him and Floyd. I think this is
where he can say, Floyd, I am emulating his business model, right,

I do think Floyd has become the blueprint for a
lot of boxers in that regard, and really and a
lot of other sports as well. But I think he

People can maybe say Canelo, because why, what's the thing
we say about Floyd? He didn't fight anybody, or he
didn't fight him at the right times. He waited, And
I think Canelo has that in his favor. You just
listed off some of those some really good fights he
fought Floyd, he fought others, you know, and now he's
fighting the only other person someone can say he has
been the best during his reign, and so to me,
this is a differentiator. You know what else, He had

a chance to fight Jake Paul, remember that was coming
out and everybody's like, oh man, why Cannelly could have
made crazy money.

I want to fight a real fighter who's still in
his prime, is still one of the best. The guy
people say, you know, if you look out the eye,
I don't know.

And so I think he's trying to say I have
respect for the sport integery with the sport integrity. I
have been a fighter. I fought everybody, and I want
to now continue to fight the best and maybe I
can try to save the sport. If it doesn't happen,
at least you can't say I didn't try, and then
that can be a differentiator, right, because that's how he's
gonna make stupid money.

And then we'll mention too. Canelo was promised a minimum
of four hundred million dollars by Turkey the Shah if
he for a four fight deal or a five fight deal,
so minimum no matter who he fights. He fought Williams Scholl,
Rob if William School delivered a pizza to your house,
you have no idea who he was. No, he got
eighty million dollars.

why take this far?

like I watched every one of his fights, but I've
watched definitely a the vast majority, and I watched him
like I feel like the only his dude is incredible
technician power, you know, uh focus, I mean defensively counter
also can be an off. I'm like, this dude is amazing,
and I think this is his shot. That's why for him,

it's sus huge to finally be on the main stage,
if you will, not just being a great guy who
never got the big shot. But I think for for
again going back to Canelo, even if he loses, he
loses to Crawford, they both win because guess whoever want
to see the rematch? Everybody as long as Caneloe drop
him in the first round, some crazy you know, he
just overpowered him. This thing goes past eight rounds. It

doesn't matter who wins, and it's a good fight, and
they're fighting each other. This is gonna be a good
win for both of them and for Crawford, especially this
ten million guaranteed part. And then obviously we know the
back end that might go to twenty five the next
time with more on the back end.

Does the fact that Crawford is already thirty seven, how
much is that wat to this because Canelo, even though
Canelos much more experienced, much more, thirty five two years younger.
So is this Crawford saying, Hey, I'm already on my
way out the door.

get for sure him Crawford. That makes total sense, right,
