Speaker 5 (05:55):
Alex is the Iranian? Yeah, go ahead, Yeah, let's get
to it, all right, rob G. We have some news
of the day and it involves the Clippers and Kawhi
Leonard m.
Speaker 10 (06:11):
Yeah. I only hate up like seven minutes talking about nothing.
But that's okay.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Whatever they liked the nothing, rob G. Rob G, Let'm
be coming in here.
Speaker 5 (06:18):
There's other shows that go straight to the news and nobody.
And can I just say this, congratulations on our Tube
channel and our subscribers, because.
Speaker 11 (06:28):
You know what, Rob G, they like the show that
we do gets right to the point. It doesn't get
to all the beginnings. Rob make a point. You got
one more, one more for this week out everybody. Gee
he watched the show the two weeks I was out.
Speaker 2 (06:45):
All right, guys.
Speaker 10 (06:46):
Yeah, So big story coming out of Los Angeles today,
and that is because Pablo Tory finds out they've been
doing some great work with that podcast. A lot of
investigative reporting.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
Can I tell you this for people don't know, there
are a million stories if you're willing to read lawsuits
that When I worked to the Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Inquirer, we had a guy reporter.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
His job was to read through lawsuits like you know
you go to public records.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
It was a public records rob G.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
And if you're willing to read through them, names come up,
all kinds of This is how you break stories. But
a lot of companies don't invest in that, but investigative
that's how.
Speaker 10 (07:24):
You get absolutely and so shout out to Pablo and
his staff for reading through the lawsuit as it relates
to this company called Aspiration all right, one of their
co founders, Joseph Sandberg, pled guilty to defrauding multiple investors.
In the filing, they noticed a list of creditors to
which the company still owed money. Listed among them was
something called k l to Aspire l LC, a corporation
(07:48):
that shows Kawhi Leonard as its manager. The filing show
that Aspiration still owes Kawhi seven million dollars. What's interesting
about that is that, according to the reporting, Kawhi did
not have a single endorsement or mention of Aspiration during
the lifetime of his quote unquote deal. And in fact,
in the document which is signed by Kawhi Leonard which
(08:10):
they uncovered, it shows that Kawhi was paid or to
be paid twenty eight million dollars over a course of
four years. Here's the kicker, though only if he was
still paying playing for the Clippers now. Pablo went on
to interview several people who worked for the company, and
one of the employees in the finance department sat on
(08:33):
the podcast quote the deal was to circumvent the salary caps.
So here it is in summary, Allegedly Steve Balmer and
the La Clippers paid Kawhi Leonard twenty eight million dollars
under the table to circumvent the salary cap to get
him to Los Angeles.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
So they also found out that Balmer had put fifty
million dollars into that company that went on.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
You Yeah, adastic connection. He put money in there. He's
tied to it all of a sudden, and we all wonder.
You bring it up all the time, you and I
have the Kawhi Leonard conversation, Like he didn't go to
the Lakers.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
You know, ever, I thought he could go play with
a But I still don't think he wanted to be
a part of that.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
I don't think that had you know, the money, of
course sweetens the deal, but to be I don't think
because he would have had an easier life going there,
could have won a lot of championships. Lebron Ad and
Kywalker and Kawhi. You know what I'm saying, But go ahead.
I'm just twenty eight million dollars. It's crazy.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
I want to say.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
That tomorrow think about it, and after this case comes
out and both of us are fans Kawhi.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
When he's healthy, he's one of the best. He ain't
never healthy, but the silent killer.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
He has been the silent assassin that has been getting
away with murder. He's just lay low in the cut,
don't say much, don't speak up, doesn't necessarily it's social justice,
if it's this, if it's NBA, if it's beef, if
it's drama, he stays out the way. And for most
parts we kind of okay with that. But you like
that because he stays out of the drama, he stays
out of the front. But the silent assassin has been
(10:02):
getting away with murderful little things like, for instance, with
the Spurs that has been one of the most tight
knick groups in all of sports the last twenty five
thirty years. But Kawhi is their finals MVP. Things get
a little rocky. Him and Uncle Dennis going at it
with the company, with the organization. There's beef, there's drama.
We don't know who's lying. He's saying he's injured. They're
saying you should be back by now. Eventually they trade him,
(10:23):
they don't get anything for him, and then he goes
and he leaves. He goes to Toronto. They had to
give up tomorrow and now he's there and they win,
but he's like, I'm out. Other people. We might have said, dang,
why would you leave this team? You got something going on?
It might have been more backglass, but it's Kawhi.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
We let it roll. It's no big deal.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
You know what the taxes are on Canada. You know, no,
very hot, most people don't want to play there.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
Very hot. All right.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
So then now he's back to the States, goes to
the Clippers, and now we have a large reason why
that's twenty eight million dollars. Oh and mind you, if
you look up the dictionary, go ahead, look it up.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Go look up low man management. Kawhi is there.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
So between low management, the way he left the Spurs
and left the Raptors. Now we find out twenty eight
million with the Clippers. I'm like Kawhi, the silent assassin,
which it pays to stay out, afraid to be quiet,
has been getting away with a lot rob and again
this old will for see how this works out. This
happened again with Minnesota some years ago, back in the
nineties with Joe Smith and the league find them five
(11:25):
first round picks and all that. We don't know what's
gonna happen with this. Obviously, investigations have to ensume. Blah
blah blah, but more so for me on Kawhi, it's like,
all right, I see you, there's a lesson to be learned.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
Be quiet, Shut up, Leo.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
I'll stay out without the depress and all that, and
you can get away with a lot. Because anybody else
Rob who's done some of half of the things out
they would they would be getting blasted for said thing.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
I disagree. I totally disagree. This has not This is
not a Kawhi deal. Kawhi can't write that deal in contract.
If his people approached Steve Baumer and the Clippers with
this could be like, hey, we got a buye by
NBA rule. He didn't write the contract for himself. They
were willing to do it. It's like a guy cheating
(12:11):
with a married woman. Right, I'm single, she's married. Who's
the onus on the one who has a commitment with
the husband? Right, you're married, you made a commitment.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
I'm just no, no, no.
Speaker 5 (12:25):
I'm just trying to say, Kawhi, you can go ahead.
The Clippers are here, they know the rules that they're
circumventing a cap that's set up for the teams to
be able to sign players.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
To put this on Kawhi.
Speaker 5 (12:41):
Now, I'm not saying he's without blame, that he knew
this was going on and all that, but this has
to be he can't make the deal and force the
Clippers to break the rules and circumvent the cap. They
have to be willing to be a part participant in
it and be able to fund this other company.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
This is on the Clippers, not on Kawhi and the stuff.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
You You know, you're giving him a hard time about
what went on in San Antonio. It's obvious he's been
hurt and he didn't buy into what they were doing.
I don't think Kawhi won two championships right his whole
You think.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
He doesn't want to play, I don't buy.
Speaker 5 (13:18):
I don't buy for one second Kawhi doesn't want to
play or has faked any of his injuries or anything.
I think the guy has really suffered and had issues
athletically because it makes no sense when he plays. He's tremendous.
There's no reason. He's a young guy. So I don't
buy into that. Okay, I don't buy into what went
(13:38):
on in San Antonio. I don't buy into this. This
is not on him. The clip and I love that
Kawhi did not go to the stacked team when he
had a chance.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I am, but I said that showed me a lot.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
You are not at ross right now, because if you
are at ross, you'll be buying up everything you clearly
you don't want to buy the fact that I'm not
saying Kawhi Leonard has been injured.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
We all know that. But other guys, what will we
be saying? Man? You gotta man up, you gotta.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
Push was criticized big time by uh Tim Dunkan Now
who is it?
Speaker 2 (14:12):
A Tony Parker?
Speaker 5 (14:13):
And man Genobi came out publicly and questioned his health,
which you know that's a code against players that you
don't know my pain's.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
That sounded like about to be a Negro spirit. You
don't know my pain, what I've been through. You don't
know how I feel underneath my skin. Who are you
to tell me this is an amazing blue song? Right?
Speaker 1 (14:35):
I'm just saying this is I'm not done with you.
You not buying anything again. We know that guys are injured,
We know that guys are heard at times. Kawhi Leonard
plays when he wants to play. He's gotten away with it,
not mad, that's why we said it, Kawhi Leonard Again,
the Spurs has been tight knit. We don't hear nothing
really coming from Demarto Rose and left the team still
singing their praises. Everybody leaves and sing the praises. Kawhi
(14:57):
the only one that has issues. Kawhi.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Let me get back to you this twenty eight million dollars.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
You do know he's in the NBA PA right, He's
a part of the Player Association, which means he has
to buy it by the CBA, which means he has
to buy by it.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Brother, you can't get twenty eight million. That was on
the side.
Speaker 5 (15:11):
But I can't sign his own contract. Come on, now,
you can't he literally signs it.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
No, he can't. The team has to be Kawhi.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
The onuses always have breads is on the Clippers. They
get some of the smoke, They get all of the smoke.
Because all they have to do is if that was
the way it was presented, they could have said no, no, no,
this is against the cap.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
That's not what they presented. I'm not saying they didn't
present it. I'm saying they go to him and say,
hey man, we found a way around it. Here's twenty
eight million for this week win company. He says, cool,
all right, signs on.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Dude. You think you.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
Think this is the only person that's been circumvented a
cap in pro sport?
Speaker 12 (15:50):
Oh no, I can give you an example of the
Minnesota No no, no, no, no. You're talking about two
that you caught. There are other teams and other players
that they know no doubt about.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
The only reason you know is the only way you.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Know about this is because of the documents that a
public record. The only reason you knew about Barry Bonds
is because of Belco and when they uncovered the records.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
If you didn't know that the same thing, you wouldn't
know what that. I wouldn't know anything until I know it.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
I know.
Speaker 5 (16:21):
But I'm trying to say that this goes on. This
is not a you think this is a Kawhi Leonard.
Speaker 1 (16:26):
I think this is a Joseph Slippers just got caught. Okay,
Kawhi Leonard was the guy, could have been Chris Park,
could have been anybody, but this Kawhi Leonard.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
And all I'm saying is Kawhi. Do we not bring
him up enough? All right?
Speaker 5 (16:41):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
sixty three sixty nine. How much blame does Kawhi deserve
for the salary cap scandal?
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (16:52):
Do you think he keeps getting away with murder? Or
is this on the clippers to me? We'll continue that
conversation next with you. It is The Odd Couple on

not Fox Sports Radio specifically the Odd Couple. Well, we
just got the news now, so man, we're on our way. Brother,
we are on our way. Brand new page numbers eighty.
Let's get we gotta let's do this. A lot of
people want to do it. Man A seven seven ninety
(18:42):
nine on Fox talking about Kawhi Leonard this breaking story.
Pablo Torre is uncovered here and it's team there twenty
eight million dollars funnel to Kawhi allegedly allegedly always.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
Put that word in there. All right, Brian from Vegas.
You're on the odd couple Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
What's up beat?
Speaker 7 (18:56):
What's up? Guys? Look Ribe, I was with you on
the Whole County Shrimps saying, man, but I can't go
with you on this one right now. Look, Kawhi, look,
your own analogy was if a dude sleeps so to
marry woman that's on her. Well, I mean, yeah, I
guess you're.
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Right, But what do you mean you guess I'm right?
Speaker 7 (19:16):
Don't you look at that dude a little bit differently
and be like, man, you really took that?
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Really?
Speaker 4 (19:21):
Is that?
Speaker 5 (19:21):
No? I'm not saying, but I'm saying. He can't make
that deal hisself. The Clippers have to be willing to
break the rules.
Speaker 7 (19:29):
He still though he still signed it, thought.
Speaker 5 (19:32):
Yeah, yeah, I still think the owner what else my alright,
that's close.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
That's what he said after he got the deal, right.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
That's what he said, like a diabolical villain, he said,
is this legal? MONSI were you there when he signed
that deal Kevin in Culver City. You're on the couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Kevin?
Speaker 2 (19:58):
I'm a fun guy. What's up? Buddy Good all the time? Kevin.
Speaker 14 (20:05):
Yeah. Rob has been covering the league since nineteen eighty seven. Look, Rob,
you're right here. But here's when my couple factors really quick.
Kawhi Leonard did nothing wrong. He did nothing wrong with
the Spurs. Luca Dawkins in his campus pushing back against
the Mavericks about not wanting to play, not want to
come back earlier from the CAF, and he got traded.
It happens with players. Players pushed back when they don't
(20:27):
want to play. And look at what happened with Kevin
durand the finals. He to you whose Achilles when the
Warriors rusting back.
Speaker 11 (20:33):
So there's that.
Speaker 14 (20:34):
The thing for the Clippers is, if they really wanted
to get really dirty with this, it could have just
got one of his homeboys and gave him the twenty
eight million dollars in full of the money. That way,
players and teams have been doing this for years and
now Magic Johnson I give him all the credits a businessman,
But Jerry Buss was the biggest developer one of the
biggest developers in LA and helped him get in the
(20:55):
business foothold after his career when he was with the Lakers,
Lebron James.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
Anything, because that was the deal. He's right, Kevin's right,
like do.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
This, but but that's gonna work on something. That's a
way of circumventing the cap. You do this for me,
You take this care of you call it, got called
Kevin and Kevin you know good well, ain't nobody's saying
it ain't happening. But when he got caught, we got
to talk about it.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Nick from New York, you're on the couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up?
Speaker 9 (21:23):
Nick, Rap, longtime caller. You're my favorite sports personality. I
will say that.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Well, thank you, Nick. I appreciate you.
Speaker 9 (21:32):
I didn't respect your opinion. I'm proposing to my girlfriend
this Friday night.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Okay, that's awesome. Congratulations, Okay, thank you.
Speaker 9 (21:40):
I appreciate that. I didn't expect that, but I appreciate that.
Speaker 14 (21:44):
It's going now.
Speaker 9 (21:45):
I don't like where we are. She wanted to go
to Atlantic City this weekend. Not a fan. Not a
fan because it's a lot of you never know what's
gonna happen.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
And the other problem with Atlantic City now, Kelvin, is
that you might get hit with a tumbleweed.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
As you're standing out there nobody. Hey, just come on
over to the west side, come to Vegas. So go ahead, go.
So what do you got you want to plan or
plan on what you're doing.
Speaker 9 (22:11):
So, yeah, I know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
drag her away from cause We're going with a couple
of her friends. I'm gonna drag her away. And I
told her that on Labor Day, I did nothing. We
didn't spend the day together. And she's like, that's so
weird of you that you didn't do anything. So I'm
gonna come up and tell her and be like, hey,
I was actually out doing something I shouldn't have been
(22:31):
doing or something I didn't tell you.
Speaker 7 (22:33):
And then I've been.
Speaker 9 (22:34):
Making this, creating this ring for the last like week
and a half, and I'm you know, I'm very hopeful
that you're gonna say, yes, it's been three and a
half years. I'm not nervous, but I'm excited.
Speaker 5 (22:47):
You should be you should be back. And you know what,
three and a half years. I can't believe she's gonna say, no,
that's awesome. Nick, I'm just a little white two things naked. Nick,
I'm a little worried one. You already and you already even.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Set up to lie like all I was doing a
little She's a little nervous, like what's going on? This
is this is a little weird. Also, Nick, you're talking
about it with us. What if this is the day?
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Listen? What if this is the day? She said? I
know my you know what, I'm gonna learn more about
my man? He listens to Fox with Radio. I love
the Odd Couple. What if he's listening, She's not.
Speaker 9 (23:15):
Come on, Nick, he's not listening. She is not on
her listening. She's my best friend. We we get time
away from each other, right all right, Nick, very healthy,
like we're very good about her.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
She might be having her girls, and like you need
to learn more about your all.
Speaker 5 (23:30):
I'm gonna say to you, Nick, is you have fun
with the congratulations, make it about her man exactly and
tell us.
Speaker 14 (23:36):
What she knows.
Speaker 9 (23:38):
Seven o'clock is seven forty. I'm locked in on the
Odd Couple.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
There you go, man, all right, That's what I'm saying.
She knows what he's listening to Hey, let's squeeze these.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
She said, Here Jabbari from Michigan, you're in the odd couple,
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
What's up Jabari?
Speaker 15 (23:56):
Hello, Ho's a going guy.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
We're doing great. How are you?
Speaker 4 (24:00):
God is good all the time, all the time, all
the time at the time.
Speaker 15 (24:05):
But I'll make it quick for y'all. But for me
about the whole situation, coming from a person who has
followed the Spurs for a long time and you know,
usually will follow others who are like who are outside
of the Spurs when they leave, leave the first.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
And one not.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
I would admit this, it does kind of like feel
kind of weird when you're hearing this about the Kawhi litter,
like just how the ending went for the Spurs with him,
and then hearing rumors that he went like he credit
unrealistic expectations, like I said, as a rumor that he
created unrealistic expectations for him when he was with when
he tried when he was trying to.
Speaker 15 (24:37):
Possibly go back to Raptors.
Speaker 14 (24:38):
But hearing us up the clippers, if.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
It turned out to be true, then it's light. Then
it almost kind of makes me feel like one, Like
like I said, I'm not going to give most play
into Kawhi, but I do believe that he's not blameless
that some one number two. It kind of made me
feel like, dang, like is this what he always does?
Like with every team like he he it's like something
that's very suspicious every single time this happens. Like I
don't know, like you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
I don't.
Speaker 13 (25:01):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
I don't see the suspicious in Toronto though he was
there for one year.
Speaker 2 (25:05):
He did, he won a championship.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
He's saying the way it was like what what the
idea of him coming.
Speaker 2 (25:10):
Back was unrealistic, Like I'll come back? He was going
to I never thought it.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
Thanks to bor real quick Low and last one Drew
in New Jersey, you're in the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio Drew.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
What's up, hey, guys.
Speaker 16 (25:22):
I think that this is pure cheating. I think this
is legitimately just trying to find a competitive advantage to
field a better team. And I don't know how you
cannot fault Kawhi. He directly benefited from that circumnavigating. I'm
not saying it's as bad as spy Gate, but he's
definitely his hands are not clean on this and this,
(25:44):
But he.
Speaker 5 (25:45):
Also didn't make the deal like the Clippers have to
be even if he suggested it, they have to be
the one they draw up the deal.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
I don't even know who you are. This is Steve.
Speaker 5 (25:55):
Balmar has to go put the fifty million into this
other company. I mean, there's a lot of stuff there
that they can't act like.
Speaker 14 (26:02):
But even if you.
Speaker 16 (26:02):
Want to argue that that other teams do it, or
no other team.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
Got caught, no, no, no, I'm not that dude. They
got caught. I'm not trying to act like it was
like the Brady thing and spy gadget the Flake game anymore.
Right now, Yes, this man is she is cheating and
all that. If you're going crazy on him, now, he's
okay with it.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
I'm not okay with it.
Speaker 5 (26:24):
But I'm saying the organization I hold not not just
like the Patriots.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
The Patriots, you go down to Patriots, Robert Craft, Bill Belichick,
and Tom Brady all get to smoke.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Now we're parsing out the smoke.
Speaker 1 (26:37):
No, they all you know what I'm dealing with you, Mazi,
save your team.
Speaker 3 (26:44):

to twelve hours of pay release so you can keep
it moving used as directed.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
You know, Rob G's the biggest Clippers hater because he's
the biggest Laker homer.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
So what do you got for Kawhi?
Speaker 10 (27:15):
Well, first off, good rittens, Kawhi, that's what you get
for shirting down on Clutch sports and Lebron James that's
what you get. But no, quickly, guys, obviously he gets
caught with the twenty eight million dollars a hand in
the cookie jar. Let's not forget. It was reported back
then in twenty nineteen that during his recruiting during his
(27:36):
recruiting pitch, that he and uncle Dennis asked for a
myriated things from a lot of different teams, including ownership
stakes in the team, real estate property, access to the
private plane, and guaranteed sponsorship money. Now, obviously they settled
on the sponsorship money.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Do you think he would have been.
Speaker 10 (27:58):
Better off or more likely to get away with any
of the other items?
Speaker 5 (28:02):
Oh yeah, I mean private playing that all these college
football coaches, they got all that stuff, and.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
Yeah, everything else use his name. Houses. What did Lincoln
Riley get a house?
Speaker 5 (28:13):
They brought his house his old house, paid three times
the value of it. That's how they you know what
I mean, they brought us house in order like stuff
like that. You know, that's the way that he gets Yeah,
how much is the house two million? You said six million.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
Exactly, and they paid six million and he gets that money. Yeah,
just oh, here's four million dollars right, that doesn't count
against right, or there's some sort of tax.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
And they Yeah, listen, they're gonna find people to make
it make sense. And what we can do and be
habitual line steppers. Well, they went too farwards again. We
talked about see starts about the quantity my guy g
who's more?
Speaker 5 (28:52):
Who's more to blame the wife cheating or the single
guys having sex with.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
The wife's I mean it's serious in that scenario. It's
the woman, Yes, it is, am I wrong, I just
don't think that.
Speaker 10 (29:05):
That scenario applies to this is the.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
Same, much more of a say I offer you this,
you sign on for this. Not not not quite the same, Rob,
It's the same exact thing.
Speaker 5 (29:15):
That's all I'm saying to you is like you made
the commitment with your husband in front of God, all
your family and friends.
Speaker 2 (29:21):
You're the one.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
At that point looked a little too like you like
you had a flashback.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
He was pointing at her. No, no, no, not at all.
That was not our issue, not you her.
Speaker 5 (29:31):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, you were you were the Yeah,
you were the guy.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
And I'm not gonna do that. I'm not that kind
of a guy. If I was, it wouldn't be my fault.
It wouldn't be all day.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
It would be her fault, all right. On the way

Speaker 2 (30:26):
And now it is time for Shecho City.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Welcome to Shekel City, the home base for Rob Parker's
day Dix against the.
Speaker 5 (30:41):
Spread one and two, all right, I was one in
to two and one, two and one, two and one.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
Dere all right? What you're trying to do to me?
I was just saying, I feel like it was gonna
better be one of the two of streak. But two
to one. There you go.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
One last night, good night Yankees again, Astros.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
That's about the kickoff.
Speaker 5 (31:00):
I'm gonna go with the Yankees as the best bet
against the Astros, going for the sweet one and a half,
uh minus one and a half. Now, last night I
took San Francisco minus two and a half and they
won by three, so they covered. But tonight I'm gonna
take Colorado plus two and a half. Trying to win
two bets in a row. Plus two and a half. Yeah,
minus two and a half. That's a lot of runs
(31:20):
in baseball. So I'm gonna go there, and then the
last one, uh, the Kansas City and and the Angels
in Kansas City. There you go, and I got the
Angels plus one and a half. Angels plus one and
a half. No, no, no, I don't have that game. No, no,
(31:41):
I'm wrong.
Speaker 6 (31:42):
Hold up, wait a minute, no no no, woo boom
boom oh no no no, now we'll stick with that.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
I'm sorry. Angels plus one and a half, Yankees minus
one and a half, and the Rocky plus two and
a half. And remember, Calvin ain't he's already online? What
do you mean? Are do you already posted? Not on?
Let me go to your Instagram take to tell you
what you today. I didn't get posted.
Speaker 5 (32:14):
I'm not telling you who to betle on. So I'm
telling you who I bet on.
Speaker 8 (32:17):
I think he misremembers.
Speaker 2 (32:18):
Yes, thank you, Tom, no doubt. And it's time now
for your Tireck Player of the day.
Speaker 17 (32:23):
Mind drive right field, that one's deep at the fence,
subtle leaps up, fitz god Man line drive home, run
over the fence and right twenty.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Part of the year for Kerry Carpenter is a three
run shot. Tigers take the six to two lead.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
Dan Dickerson, Yeah on Tiger Radio.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Tigers take the Tiger's radio six to two win over
the Mets. Take that Rich Text him later and get
some of that smoke. And that is the tirereck player
of today. For over forty years, Tirerek has been helping
customers find the right tires for how, what and where
they drive. Ship fast and free back by free road
has to protect and with convenient insallation options like mobile
tire installation, which where they come to you makes that
(33:05):
really easy for you. Tire Wreck Dot common is the
way tire biking should be.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
You talking about.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
We were just saying teams not playing good and looking
kind of rough, and Tigers put them in that mixed tooth.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Yeah, not good. Look, big time struggle even with the Wings.
Speaker 5 (33:18):
It's like a weird season, Like you're up twenty one
games over five hundred, It's like we're great.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Okay, I got a bone to pick.
Speaker 5 (33:24):
You know, when it comes to food and restaurants and
all that, this is becoming a weekly thing. Who did
what now, hostess? Now you know, yes, you know, I'm
all for that stuff. Until when Alex October sixth, when
we go to cheesecake factory. Okay, but hosts I'm looking at.
I had to send Rob g a picture because I
(33:44):
was so bothered by it.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
So they used to.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
Have two twinkies in the pack and you'd pay I
don't know, a dollar a nonsense. You know, it used
to be sixty nine. So now they've removed one of
the twinkies. So now they're selling individual twinkies for a dollar,
not two in a pack. So basically, if you were
(34:07):
to buy a box of twinkies and there were two
in a pack and they had ten, I mean, how
much would that be?
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Well, there's no way they're doing that now, right, But
but if you did dollars ten dollars, they're.
Speaker 5 (34:30):
Selling them for a dollar each rather than two in
a pack. The coffee cakes are a dollar two they
took them. There used to be two in a Pack's
it's one, and the cake is smaller?
Speaker 2 (34:43):
Is gone? Am I right?
Speaker 5 (34:44):
They're making everything smaller, and they're they're making things a
single item and then thinking well.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
We'll just charge a dollar.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
So it's funny, is I'm not going I'm sitting here
because they got a whole new packaging, and I'm looking
like something done seen right about this? And I believe
they shrunk this bottle. You're absolutely right. This was a
sixteen point nine it used to be. Now it's the twelve.
Everybody's getting over.
Speaker 5 (35:10):
But they act like, oh but the price, you know,
so sayla, okay, cool, We then raise the price.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
We don't take less. No, but that's what it is now.
Speaker 5 (35:18):
I couldn't believe it that they're selling one twinkie four dollars.
And if you were to buy a box of twelve,
would you pay twelve dollars.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
For a buck? It's supposed to be like four bucks,
but three ninety nine?
Speaker 5 (35:28):
Yeah, but that's what you're paying when you buy a
single twinkie. Think about that, a twelve box, twelve twinkies
in a box. You're paying twelve dollars for twinkies.
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Crazy.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
I'm not gonna lie. Yeah no, I'm not gonna lie
like as a morning anchor. I thought you were about
to bring me some world news.
Speaker 5 (35:47):
No, I'm bring giving you bigger news that affects more people.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
This is what people really care about, rob g. Would
you buy a twinkie four dollars?
Speaker 1 (35:56):
I didn't know people still bought twinkies, I be honest,
but us twinkies.
Speaker 5 (35:59):
It's the whole, it's all I get your principal though,
strainflation is really I'm with you on that.
Speaker 2 (36:04):
I don't like it.
Speaker 10 (36:05):
Let me tell you something as a don't let the
smelt new look fool you.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Rob here, Yes it's okay.
Speaker 10 (36:13):
Down fifteen pounds by the way, right, nice Congress. I
am still mentally fat. So if you tell me that
I can get a twinkie for a dollar ten for ten,
I'm buying at least ten.
Speaker 5 (36:24):
You're paying ten dollars for when before they were getting
you two in a pack for.
Speaker 10 (36:28):
I'm not old enough to remember.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
I remember two in a pack for sixty nine cents.
Rob Parker, not ge. We've had a lot of things
go up.
Speaker 1 (36:37):
A regular candy bar think of Snickers used to be
like seventy nine cent, right, and you were all right,
that's fine. I remember cheaper than that. But let's just
say that seventy nine eighty nine cent. The fact that
a regular size Snickers are your typical seven eleven is
like three ten, it's like two ninety.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
No wonder I haven't had one in a walk?
Speaker 1 (36:55):
No, am I lying go, get a go, look at
a candy bar and like a regular, you know, like
I said, a seven of the convenience store.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Now CBS, you can catch them. They'll have some you know,
two for this is.
Speaker 1 (37:05):
But if you just pulled up in a gas station
or seven to eleven, I'm in the move for snickers,
you grabbed it.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
It's like two seventy nine twenty nine.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
My point is, if one twinkie is a dollar, that
ain't the worst. It's all I'm saying. I'm just asking
this one question, Alex. Really, what does the twinkie feel
with for a dollar? Is it cream filling or gold?
I mean a dollar for a.
Speaker 8 (37:26):
Twinkie definitely not goldbed it.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
I'm usually with you in this one. That dollar ain't
the worst. I'm not. I can't do it.
Speaker 8 (37:32):
I don't expire.
Speaker 5 (37:33):
I know you still have got nineteen seventy nine twinkies
in you back when you got it for thirty.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
Three cents doing it. I'm sorry, IM not. Ain't that bad?
Speaker 8 (37:41):
What's in it
