He is Calvin kelvin Washington.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
The best part about that, Calvin's Steven.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
It's stephen A being you. He's imitating. That's the best part.
Speaker 6 (02:28):
For those who don't know it's him being you, that's
the funny part.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Yes, but yeah, man, we're here, Calvin.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Drain, Elvin, you don't understand you you understand you can't
pooh pooh that.
Speaker 6 (02:40):
That's really funny, good man, feeling good. Drain hasn't been
too bad. And you know how it gets out here
in l A little bit of rain and you know
I gotta float in on Noah's ark to get to work.
So not bad, but breddy to what do what we do?
You everything good? Yes, oh bit good. But by the way,
big shots, everybody who loves our gear, and I gotta
give you the credit for that.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
I always believe in you got to promote your own chest.
And you don't do your thing. You absolutely subscribe to that.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
You see what I got on you can't really Parker
and the Man Sports Night Live ninety seven one.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
What era was this?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
This was in the two thousands, early two thousands, But
this was like one of my favors.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
I only have one piece. When I have like an
X show or former show, you got to keep something.
I keep one. Yeah, yeah, you got to keep something, right.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
I don't need like a thousand ESPN pullovers that when
I used to work there, so I keep the best
run a couple of more minds. I know Fox, So
I got my Fox stuff. I worked at other places,
just just one.
Speaker 6 (03:36):
I got the same thing throughout the years. But oh,
I say that to say, I got on my couple
gear here and it got a lot of love on
my TV show today. I wore it and I had
to do a little stretching yoga whatever session and if
they stretched me all out and I had to switch
back in and get off the suit.
Speaker 1 (03:51):
So I wore this After you got stretched out? Did
you get engaged again?
Speaker 2 (03:55):
Or it was the dude? Okay, I make sure he knew.
Speaker 6 (03:59):
I said, hey, play, just do the most athletics stretch ever. Okay,
I need to look like an NBA player on the sideline.
I don't care what anybody says, I'm about to agree
with you.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
The episode on Seinfeld where George gets moved, where George
gets a massaged by a guy, is the is the
most well written and funny.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
I got to see it. I don't think Alex iconic.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
It is iconic where he's worried because he's telling Jerry
that it moved.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
Stressed the whole massage, and Jerry's like, no, no, no, George.
Maybe it was just rearranging itself. You know, so funny?
Am I right? Alex? Unbelievable writing. Whoever came up with that? Jerry,
I don't know it moved not. Seinfeld is one of
the greatest shows ever made.
Speaker 7 (04:48):
Was it?
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Larry David probably wrote it. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
You know, Jerry Seinfeld, they created it.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
But I don't want to that episode what you mean,
but some of the absolutely. But one day I'll tell
y'all my worst fear come true. I am one of
those persons who are I'm so confident massage in the.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Move and no, no, no, no, hold up.
Speaker 6 (05:11):
I never ever wanted to get a massage, like a
real massage, not like a stretched sports one, like a
real massage by a man. And my mom my wife,
convinced me to do it. And I have a man.
When I do stand up, that's gonna be my story.
Everything I thought, like, why I wouldn't is exactly what happened.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
No, don't want it.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
Nope, massages from women and men, it's to me, they're
doing a job.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
I never felt like that. No, I'm that serious. I
believe you.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
I've had a guy like you know, like like really
working a little harder than some women.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Can do stressing. Listen, let me tell you something that's
a great job though.
Speaker 6 (05:44):
That was amazing. No, that is amazed. Now you already
cut that. They stressed me all out. Listen, listen, listen.
I can't go and have the little ding bing ding
being music and the oils and they're like, no, I'm
not doing that.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
You got for me sports one?
Speaker 6 (06:03):
Yeah, lights, full on games everywhere, Yeah, strip a little
oil down one.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
No.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
Hey, let's welcome into the couple of cool the Pancakes.
We wouldn't be able to do this five radio program
with don them.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Rob G is our producer, engineer, unbelievable. Monty Blos is
at the anchor desk. You'll keep us updated throughout the program.
Speaker 8 (06:28):
About what you're about to pank of. Your boy has
been hitting you up enough. Yes, I've got enough pictures
of pancakes in my phone. Just unbelievable. Rob, we got pancakes.
That's what I can get it, Rob, we got pancakes,
Rob G.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
What happened?
Speaker 6 (06:46):
Rob G even showed me the text from his boys.
They've be hitting them up. We're on at breakfast, Rob.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
And Elijah our social media gurgle, who's in studio.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, we're full of fact today. So let's go. We
got a lot of stuff to talk about. And Rob G.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
So you know, Shaq was one of the greatest basketball
players ever.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
There's no ifans a button, I like where to go.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
But when you put him in front of a microphone
or clip a microphone onto his shirt, I'm just not
sure where he's coming from. And Rob g last night
on TNT another one out of left field.
Speaker 5 (07:22):
As the supreme leader of the Big Man Alliance, I
demand you fans to start putting Steph Curry in that
greatest of all time conversation. Just start putting him in
a conversation with that conversation with Kobe le Bron. Start
putting stuff in that conversation. I demand that.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Why does the Big Men Alliance need to say something?
Speaker 5 (07:40):
Because I am the supreme leader in my voice counts
and I'm saying, listen, I played against Mike, played with Kobe,
played against Ant with Lebron. They're all great, but you
got at some point we're gonna have to put Steph
Steph Curry in that category. I'm not saying he is,
but let's just have the conversation like I like all
the Internet talking to Bobble to talk about I ain't
(08:01):
never seen nothing like that before, and nobody has very special.
And that's how many of them bangs. He got one, two, three,
four against Lebron. So I demand that I demand that
people used start putting my guy in that.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Coming just again.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Seriously, I know we got mad respect for guys who've
actually played the game.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
I really do, Right, they played the game. They understand
what it takes to be out there.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
But that doesn't mean that they can't have half baked
takes on Steph Curry. Almost nobody thinks he's in the
GOT conversation.
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Is he an impactful player? Absolutely? Did he help to
change the game? Yes?
Speaker 1 (08:42):
But did Shack? Did anybody on that desk want to
push back and say? Steph is also the author of
the first three to one choke in the NBA Finals, Right,
Steph was a part of that. Steph is the one
who's thrown balls out of bounds or being cute right
and cutch situations. Steph is also a zero for four
team with a chance to tie or put his team
(09:03):
ahead in the last twenty seconds of a of a
playoff game.
Speaker 2 (09:08):
I mean, these are all facts, not feelings.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
And let's not forget Well, he's got four against Lebron,
Kevin Durant showed up after he choked to Lebron and
Kyrie and won them two and was the MVP of
the finals. Come on, Shack, a little homework. I know
you're busy. I know you've got a lot of other stuff.
Going on, come on, like, really he is not in
(09:33):
the go conversation.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
I'm sorry. First of all.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
First of all, Shack, he's not even better than you
career wise, like you could. There's a great debate that
Shaq has had a better or was a better player
then Steph.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
So let's start there.
Speaker 6 (09:48):
Also, what I hope he meant was greatest shooter rob
Maybe he meant the most entertaining.
Speaker 2 (09:55):
If he feels Steph.
Speaker 6 (09:56):
Curry's the most entertaining basketball player of all time, I
don't even have I'm with that. I can understand why
he and others may feel that way. If you wanted
to say, maybe he was the greatest small guard, you know,
you have a couple other you have Isaiah Thomas. But
if Shaq Thomas beat Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, magic.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
Points in a broke, didn't have another top fifty player
in his lineup.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
You know, I'm with him. I know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
If you wanted to say that Shack danget half at it,
that would be your opinion.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
The greatest of all time. Let me break something down further.
Speaker 6 (10:31):
If you played in four or five finals, Steph Curry
ass for five finals, there's no way then that you
can have never been the best except for one the
best player that makes sense, and.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
I don't mean not even on his own team.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
You were the best player one time when you beat
Boston a couple of years back, because Lebron was the
best in the year they beat him. In twenty fifteen,
I'm gig Andrew Iguidala actually won the.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
MVP and then he would. Katie King took two MVPs.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
Lebron.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
You could argue baby was even better than some of them.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
You can't tell me the goat and every time he
was in the finals, he wasn't even the best player
except for once.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
It's just that didn't even makes sense.
Speaker 6 (11:10):
Goats put this go push back exactly. Well, he's getting
it now, and I love Shaq. Shaq is the goat,
maybe one of the best, most entertaining ex athletes' Come on, man,
come on, stack nobody's Steph Curry knows he's not the
goat of all time player, greatest shooter. Fine, maybe you
want to say most entertaining. Fine, I'm okay with that and.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Champion again, influential. Why do you want to do that?
Steph Curry is a goat? Get him in the Goat
conversation crazy, he you know what he is for those
who are rap heads, and this is a compliment. Steph
Curry is the Lil Wayne. He is the NBA version
of Lil Wayne, one of the best for without a doubt,
but more influential than anything. There's a bunch of Little
(11:53):
Wayne clonies right now in rap just like we got
a bunch of clonies and people trying to little care,
everybody trying to be like Steph. But that doesn't make
him the go Lil Wayne isn't better than jay Z.
He's not better than Biggie, He's not better than Andrey
two thousands. But he is more influential than most of
everyone else I name. I'll give that to Steph, maybe
the most influential players of the last twenty years, because
(12:13):
you're gonna have a whole, the whole entire NBA shooting threes.
You got a whole bunch of go Watch an eight
year old player right now chucking up from half court,
but the goat stops.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Shack ridic you crazy, I can leave you will say that. Check.
I don't even know if he was watching the games
at T and T.
Speaker 6 (12:27):
I don't know what they got you doing right there
because anyway you was watching the games, you thought he
was to go to some ball time. He was like,
can you no, Shaq, can this idea of being a
prisoner of the moment every time somebody has a great game.
It's amazing, right because now I have to go through
and parts Steph Curry and I enjoy his greatness because
(12:48):
you took it too far.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Shot.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Now we gotta everybody's gotta go right and then cut
down Steph Steph Curry in order to.
Speaker 6 (12:55):
Just get Seth saying, yo, it was in magical what
he did in match Square Garden, which he's thirteen and
one in there. Now he was balling, man, this Warrior
team has been playing great. That's what I would love
to do. But Shaq, now I got to come in
here and look like I'm disrespecting Steph because you disrespecting
the potential goats.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
I can't believe you'd have to do that, brother pucker.
I didn't think I was going to do it on
this worship Wednesday. I'm sorry, Lord, I had to be
meaning somebody. Look yeah, well Colvin, all right, well we
want to hear from you. Where are you on the
I can't niggot.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Shaq shaq fuu Shaq shack foolish, shack foolish, because that's
what we'll say.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Greatest eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Where are you?
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Is Steph Curry your goat? Is he in the goat
conversation as Shaq says? Or is Shaq my sugar crazy?
All those other things? Because both of us here, the
Odd Couple, we we agree on this one. This is
out out of left field eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven nine nine sixty three sixty nine.
(14:01):

said that Steph Curry needs to be considered in the
Goat conversation. He'd had enough and Shack says Curry needs
to be considered. We both say hecked, Nah, come on,
Shock no greater shooter ball.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
I'm sure? Okay, fine A seven seven ninety nine on Fox?
Speaker 1 (15:21):
What do you say? Who we got wrong? John in Clovis, California.
You're in the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
What's up? John?
Speaker 9 (15:29):
Well, Shaq got excited. Who knows what he was shipping?
Speaker 4 (15:33):
Bro.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
He watched the game.
Speaker 9 (15:36):
And he got all excited because Steff put on The
Steff Show and you know kind of shocked in the
fool there a little bit because he didn't have them
SATs in front of him about you know, the one
for thirteen and all of those different stats they matter.
And so I think that Shack just got a little
you know, recentcy effect excited, yeah about it.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
And so many guys who get caught up the moment
something happens that night and they want to crown people
like we've I've seen this over and over.
Speaker 10 (16:06):
Like you you're gonna go.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
To Denny Green.
Speaker 9 (16:09):
You want to crown them.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
Crown them, You want to crown them, crown them.
Speaker 6 (16:12):
Yeah, yeah, that was we. We They are who we
thought they were, right, Yeah, Shaq, he is who we thought.
He is an amazing player, one of the best of
all time. But the goat, come on.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Shack, I know, thanks for the call, Darren and Maryland.
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Darren?
Speaker 2 (16:28):
You want to ask tonight?
Speaker 9 (16:33):
How are you? Hey?
Speaker 10 (16:35):
Man, I'm gonna tell you like this, I think all
sports analysts and whatnot should first of all, first criterion,
they should say, ask himself. But he started making his
greatest of all time this no matter what the sport,
with the athlete themselves considered himself part of the Greatest
list of all time. You know what I'm saying is like.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
You hear me say that all the time. Steph wouldn't
even think he's the goat.
Speaker 11 (16:56):
Exactly that one thing I will give Shock credit for
when he finished his little diet tribe as to why
she Stelf should be in it. He's listed include Kareem,
which most people leave out. Now, to me, you can't
have an argument about the greatest all time if you
don't include Koreem.
Speaker 1 (17:14):
I don't know whose list doesn't have Korean minute I'm
gonna say Darren, I don't know.
Speaker 12 (17:20):
Rob.
Speaker 10 (17:20):
There's a lot of people only want to try to
compare Jordan's and uh and uh. They always leave off
the big you know, the captain, But you.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
Know, I think he's I think he's in the conversation.
He's third on my life. There's three people to me
that if you say are the Ghats, I'm okay with.
I might not agree with you, but if you said Kareem,
I understand, If you said Jordan's and if you said Lebron, okay,
those are my three that I'm okay. I understand why
you would say that we agree.
Speaker 10 (17:49):
But like I say, for Steph, you know, you know
how Shack is.
Speaker 6 (17:52):
He always said, yes, see entertaining. That's why I said
one of the most thank you Devin in Minnesota. You're
on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Devin, Hey,
guys love the show. Thanks, thank you appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
Yeah, no, I uh, you know, I'm I'm for sure
Shack is my favorite basketball player of all time. His
entertainment on kazam I was my favorite movie as a kid.
I got his rap album in my car. I mean,
I'm I'm a huge Shack fan.
Speaker 10 (18:24):
But he was out of bound, he was out of bounced.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
I mean, for like really, I think you know the
goat conversation. Of course it's Mike. Of course Lebron can
be in there. I'm a little more partial to Wilt
over Kareem. I know Kareem's got the longevity and all
the points, and he won a lot too, so I
could see how he's in there.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
But you know, I think Steph's.
Speaker 3 (18:44):
Definitely on the outside looking in, probably not even in
the top ten. Yet, you know he's probably not even there.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
That's the top ten, boy, I'll tell you is We'll
get harder and harder to crack because people all he
stopped him?
Speaker 2 (18:56):
All right, who you kicking out? You know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (18:58):
Like, all right, shack out? Is Tim Duncan out? Is
a team out as coaching.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
Tim Duncan's mis freaked throw away from being six for
six in the Fox What I mean, so people don't
even mention Tim Duncan.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Well he's that if Tim Duncan in the top ten,
am I right?
Speaker 4 (19:11):
No?
Speaker 1 (19:11):
But I'm just saying like they don't talk about him
like Tim top six. I mean Tim out there, he
won five out of six championships.
Speaker 6 (19:20):
I'm just like what people throw around so and so's top.
I'm all right just that then? Just who you kicking out?
There's a lot of greatness.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
All right, Drew in New Jersey, you're on the couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Drew?
Speaker 12 (19:32):
Hey, guys, I definitely think that he's in the conversation,
but he's definitely better than Isaiah Thomas and you.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
No, he's not. You say he's definitely. I don't. I
don't buy into that. Yeah, let me let me hear Drew.
Speaker 12 (19:48):
So you said that that what's his name? J Thomas?
Never won with the top seven top player that didn't.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
I didn't say that.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
I said he didn't have a top fifty play on
his team, and he beat Magic, Michael Bird and Bird
all in their primes.
Speaker 11 (20:06):
I mean, come on, Steph did it a year after.
Speaker 12 (20:10):
And the same amount of as no, no, but.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
No, wait a minute, is Joe Dumar's the top fifty.
Speaker 12 (20:20):
It's Clay No, but he aint Kevin?
Speaker 2 (20:25):
He aint Kevin Duran?
Speaker 6 (20:26):
No, no, no, Kevin has rings. Zad Thomas has two rings.
First off, So you what you're saying is not right,
just to make sure when it's I don't know if
you're still there. But yeah, I mean that's fine if
you if you got Steph over Zeke, that's not At
this point, I'm okay with that.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
People are saying that a little prematurely. If you have
n't that, that's fine.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
I think different eras, different styles and what what you
require from a player is a little bit different.
Speaker 6 (20:47):
But that's not crazy to have if you have him.
Having him as the goat is what's crazy, all right?
Uh Raiders throwing the bag to somebody. We'll talk about
that in just a bit, but right now, Mancy Belanos
is going to tell us what'strengthy Manci.
Speaker 4 (21:00):

And he went to Eastern Michigan. So dagd I am
a fan. He's the one who went to Eastern Michigan.
Speaker 5 (21:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
It was about eight people all together and throughout Charlie.
You know Charlie, Charlie.
Speaker 6 (21:47):
We did, uh think Grant Long, who was ahead a
you know, nice NBA career. Did George Germ? I think
George German?
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Yeah, I think so. Yeah, It's like a handful of US.
Speaker 6 (21:59):
Lions, Ron Rice, Earl Boykins, Yeah, there's a few, but
they ain't any So Max Crosby's always been cool with me.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
But yeah, Robb Gi, he's a got the whole bag,
got the whole bag, and an extra bag to go
with it.
Speaker 13 (22:12):
Three years, one hundred and six million dollar extension, ninety
one and a half million guarants.
Speaker 2 (22:16):
Plus du plus a bag of pork rynds thrown in.
Oh yeah, I got the hot honeywe yes, And so
there's only to be the highest paid non quarterback in
NFL history.
Speaker 13 (22:25):
Of course, he's been nothing but productive with the Raiders
since he's been their only problem is all those sacks
and all those pressures have not resulted in wins for
my Raiders.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
Rob G. I'm sorry. I know you're not gonna be
happy with this. What a mistake by the Raiders.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
I just he doesn't have impact on winning, and I'm
not he's getting the stats, all the numbers you want
to talk about, their empty calories, they don't equate to winning.
It's not that he's not a great player, it's that
you have so many The Raiders have more holes than
the golf course. You gotta fill it. You gotta do something.
He could get you something, trade him to the Lions,
(23:02):
get some pigs, whatever it is. If you're gonna really
rebuild this team, by the time they build it right,
rebuild it, Crosby be too old.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
It doesn't make sense to hold on to him.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
And I know they did this before Rob g with
Khalil Mack when he was their best player, and they
moved on and traded and it didn't work out.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
So now they're afraid to do it again. It's a mistake.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
And I have nothing against Crosby getting paid for his
you know, his performances and a play. But I think
by the Raiders holding on the people for sentimental reasons
or because you like somebody, or because they do a
good job, but they don't.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Really impact what you're trying to do, which is win.
Is a swing and a mess by me.
Speaker 6 (23:48):
So we know the position that matters the most nine
point five out of ten times is the quarterback.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
They don't have that. So is he worth the money?
That's an easy answer.
Speaker 9 (24:00):
No.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
But here's what I think they're doing.
Speaker 6 (24:03):
To make sense of what they're doing, I think they're
saying now with Pete Carroll, how can we set a
culture of winning? How can we set a culture of
this is what it takes to be great, and they
probably looked at the roster and said, we ain't got
a lot of guys who can point to and say
that shows greatness.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
That's what we want in the building.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
That's the guy who's here first, leaving last, working hard,
and also seeing the results of his work because he's
been spectacular throughout his career. So I think that's what
he's being paid for. Rob not necessarily just way too
much money. And that's why I say it's worth it. No,
nobody's worth all that. That's what I'm saying, But I
think that's what if I'm trying to analyze why they're doing.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
He'll be there and if they don't have players, they
still won't win. Don't have a quarterback. I'm just saying,
it's it's bad money. You just throwing money. And I
know you want to reward him. He's a he's a
popular guy, and he's a team guy and all those
character guy. I get all that stuff that works to
when you're winning and you have a guy like that
who can anchor the lock. But I think, but when
(25:05):
you don't have that, because if he had that kind
of impact on the culture, then Why hasn't it worked
over the last few years. This is my point, because
he's been he's been there's spectacular, and he's been playing.
So now all of a sudden, So now all of
a sudden, because you're giving him this big bag, it's
gonna change.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Are you gonna give you a culture?
Speaker 1 (25:23):
No? The culture comes when you go get a quarterback
and you get some other pieces and you build a
winning team and you start to win and be competitive
on a week to week basis.
Speaker 6 (25:33):
It's not because you just had him that money. So
that's why I think they're doing it. They're saying. I'm
saying Carol Pete Carroll saying what worked for me before?
Bild ain't in a great defense and Lesion to boom
had its own name. It was a thing for four
or five years. What started there? Defense?
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Great players, hard nos, I know I can count on
depending on get it.
Speaker 6 (25:53):
Let me get that. We have that guy, Let's keep
that guy. Now I have a cornerstone piece that I
can build around. Get a few more players on defense,
and now I can say we have listened to a lot.
I don't disagree, but we have this on lock.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Now defensive side covered, got a couple of pieces, shutting town,
shutting down opposing teams.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Check.
Speaker 6 (26:13):
Now, Max Trosby's come out here and said, man, if
we can just got I'm here.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
I'm all here for Aaron Rodgers.
Speaker 6 (26:18):
They're obviously gonna have to be in consideration for Aaron Rodgers,
consideration for Darnold Back.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
He's just looking around saying, dude, we need a quarter.
That's what I'm saying, Sam.
Speaker 6 (26:27):
In this league without a Kurk cousins, they're gonna be
in consideration because although it's gonna be a rebuild, I
don't think they're trying to spend full five six years
because Pete carrollin about to be here that long.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
You know, he's what is he seventy seven? No, he's
not that old.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
Seventy three. He'd be seventy seven by the time they
give you know, only thing that matters is that pork chopp.
He might have one Sunday. Forget about seventy three. I
think he's a few port. I usually say somebody's a
pork chop, but well, he might be a few. He
looks good's healthy running around, So he's a rack. He's
a rack. Yeah, he's a rack of rack. Of lamb
or something.
Speaker 6 (26:59):
Yeah, a way than just won the poor shot. But
that's a whole lot of money for a position only.
And the only other thing I'll say, and Rob Gena
are talking about this in the beginning of the season,
there's only one other position to me that fully impacts
the game away from non quarterback position. And I do
think it is an impactful DN because they're the only
other players who can, like I, can have a massive
(27:20):
impact on this game with a handful of plays, right,
you get two sacks, or you force a couple of fumbles,
or you deflect a few passes, you get three you know,
quarterback pressures and he's got to throw bad passes that
can change a game. So aside from a quarterback, to me,
a high ended Aiden Hutchinson obviously Cosby TJ.
Speaker 2 (27:42):
Watt.
Speaker 6 (27:42):
You know, there's a handful of guys to me, Miles Garrett,
that are worth the money because I can tangibly see
what it does to a game outside of a quarterback.
To me, they're the next position more than any other
position to that's to me.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
But he ain't. Nobody's worth that money. I mean, I'm
just just calling that just doesn't make any sense, Rob,
Do you feel better about your team now? Guys?
Speaker 13 (28:05):
As the only hashtag elite ball nowhere on this show, Yes,
go ahead, yes, I must say how that is watching
bad Raiders football for you?
Speaker 2 (28:14):
And you have to nerd to think.
Speaker 13 (28:15):
They're gonna do good and every year, I mean, I
didn't picking to make the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
This is the guy who picked the Jets and who
else then and the Niners in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 13 (28:24):
It's the same guy who thinks la Mark Jackson is
gonna break through one day. Go ahead, go ahead, That's okay,
but probably you probably will.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
I'm gonna.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
We'll do that.
Speaker 13 (28:37):
Look, you don't lay good players leave the building, point blank, period.
And no matter how good or bad your franchise is,
the minute you get a good player. And by all accounts,
Max Crossey one of those generational types, why on earth
would you let him go? And if you get a chance,
and Rob, you know this, you're the salary cap guru.
You know this side of Andrew Brandt. You can manipulate
the salary cap any way you want. You In the
(28:59):
NFL right now, the Raiders got I think the second
or third most cap space this offseason by locking in
your guy. Now, when the cap keeps going up and
up and up and up and up, you're you're you're
in a beneficial spot because the same thing happens with
you know, the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen right now is
criminally underpaid at like.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
But you need more pieces, Rob g My point is
every team needs more pieces.
Speaker 13 (29:24):
But you're gonna talk about in the next segment the
two out of three Super Bowl champions they need pieces.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
No, I know, but the Raiders really need pieces.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
At My point is quarterback, right, but you need to
be able to add to that team to give yourself
a chick. I just think it's it's it's nice, it
sounds great, it's a great story.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
And you want to don't like anything. You just don't
like anything.
Speaker 7 (29:47):
They want to deserve the money, Rob, don't players, Rob Parker,
people go the bag, but you really don't love it.
Speaker 13 (30:01):
Draumatician when he's at the car dealership to get that
really nice car.
Speaker 2 (30:06):
I don't want to see this hot shot. Yeah, they're like, oh,
shut in my car. Hey do you like red? Why
wanted the blue one?
Speaker 6 (30:13):
Yeah? But sa Kuan Barkley's gonna buy that one. I
knew that should have never give him the money. Yeah,
I'm actually shocked by that. I told Roger that I
did yesterday, didn't I?
Speaker 1 (30:21):
I said, Rob always act like he pop player, power
empowerment and get money, but you always poop on on
on them.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Get some money.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
No reason for the Eagles to do what they did
that would be happy for I'm be happy for Max Trosby.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
I'm not. I just think it's ridiculous art. Well, we
know he's not gonna subscribe to MLB bro dot com. Yeah,
let me tell you. They called me, Hey, Kevin, we
love what you guys are doing. The numbers are going crazy.
Speaker 6 (30:45):
We're just thinking, we know, we're thinking about we were
thinking about giving Rob a huge increase and just give
him a new deal. And I'm like, Ney Donne deserve it.
He's on the contract for another two years. I think
you guys are crazy for paying Rob. Now, why would
we You don't have to, He's got yours. Yeah, what
you guys were saying, I'm gonna go full Rob Parker
(31:08):
on Rob Parker. Wow, all right, speaking of man, we
got Second City and we're gonna talk a little bit
about Kansas City and what they need to do as well.
It is the hot couple, Rob Parker Cuprom Washington. Rob

Speaker 6 (31:55):
But there's no way a man looks like Plies. Okay,
look it up, everybody, look it up. In some way
it really apply. But in some way that's got to
be racist. It's something well, no, it's more all black
people are to look like you. No faithist. Okay, you
got on. One is a great gospel singer. The other
one is like a hood rapper. But you've never seen
(32:17):
them in a room together.

picks against the Sprack.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
Give me the money shot. How we do all here?
We got there?
Speaker 4 (33:12):
There we go.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
She didn't say it.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
Secle City won and two last night. Man, I'm scoffling
all right. Fifteen seven and sixty one, not bad, not
bad by.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
Here we go. I got best bet Miami plus twelve
and a half against the Cavaliers. All right, right, I'm
going all right right now, Yeah, it's close, right, yeah,
all right, there we go, And that's all I wanted
to do. Twelve and a half is that's hot?
Speaker 1 (33:36):
I mean, god, Miami and Cleveland just played, you know,
I'm just like, maybe they'll just be they'll win, but
not by twelve and a half. Boston minus nine and
a half. They're taking on the trail Blazers. Trail Blazers
have been playing well. Shoon got them playing well, much
better way. But yeah, you kind of thought he was
on a hot seat. Now they got something going there.
I mean, they have no crazy talent, but he's got
(33:57):
to playing. They are playing better and minute Soda minus
nine and a half taking on the Hornets.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
We got they're up by what they ate. Yep, so
again the Timberwolves up.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Timberwolves minus nine and a half, Boston Celtics minus nine
and a half, and the Miami he plus twelve and
a half.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
And Kelvin remember this, what's that. I'm not telling you
who to bet on. I'm telling you who I bet on.
You're looking all right right now? Brother? Yeah so far
we'll see. It's early. It's early.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
Yeah, uh not a lot of time, but just kind
of jump on this, but just real quick because Rob
g had mentioned it earlier.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
Some moves right going around.
Speaker 6 (34:33):
There's a couple of things happening in the NFL that
to me lead to an opportunity for the Kansas City
Chiefs to make some moves. But one thing that they
did that a lot of people may kind of be
confused about is they let Tuney go. Joe Toney, who
is one of the better guards in all the football
Super Bowl performance, the offensive line wasn't in tune that.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Okay, I like that one. They weren't.
Speaker 6 (34:55):
They were nine in two in the whole season, especially
the Super Bowl. Boy him running around his lighter. You
are right, and that was good. You didn't write that
was off the cuff. At least I think you didn't
write that that was not.
Speaker 2 (35:08):
They let him go.
Speaker 6 (35:09):
So a lot of people kind of like, well, why
would you let him go? They got a fourth round
pick for him, Uh.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
It's money they don't want to pay. They don't want
to pay. They freed up cap room they're giving up,
like the offensive line. If I'm if I'm Patrick Mahomes
and I pick up my phone and I see that
on the thing, I'm like you really, yeah, I would have,
like did you see the Super Bowl?
Speaker 2 (35:30):
I'm running for my life. The only thing I can
think is to your point, A, it's money.
Speaker 6 (35:36):
One thing they have done when they lost the Super
Bowl a couple of years back, that was the first
thing they did. We're like, all right, we are like
ooh that offensive line, and somehow they were able to
make shift the offensive line the next season. So if
they're saying, hey, we got a game plan, we're gonna make,
you know, make this happen. We got this person coming back,
he'll be healthy. We got some moves or we got
some calls on this person, And if they're gonna make
shift for offensive line again, then that's clearly maybe what
(35:59):
they're trying to do. Maybe they're gonna draft the player
as well. I'm gonna tell you this, but they started
to get a little out of this penny pinch and
is all right now.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
But I think like franchises and don't kid yourself, they
get full of themselves like we've won enough, like you
know what I mean, like, like, don't you act like that?
Because remember who broke up the bulls with with Phil Jackson?
And Michael Jordan that was the bull. They didn't want
to pay those guys kind of thinking, and they were,
(36:29):
like Michael Jordans said, if Phil Jackson isn't back, then
I'm not coming back.
Speaker 2 (36:34):
And they did was let go Phil Jackson. That's crazy work. Now,
that's exactly what Michael said. That's crazy.
Speaker 6 (36:40):
Phil is here, then I would consider about coming back
Kobe who still has game left. Man, y'all let Field go.
You know I'm I'm leaving, all right, Let's let Field go. Yeah,
that is kind of crazy. So I don't know, chiefs man.
They got some moves to make on the offseason. There's
some receivers available they need to look at as well.
