(04:36):
Richard Nixon pouls.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
You see that v right there too, see it only
looking at your man v Okay. But but I will
say this.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
A hundred times better than I ever could imagine. Now
I'm dead serious, like you know, like the build up
to it, the whole idea and and then finally you
get there. I said this to a lodger right before
the show. You go and you see the how big
it is on that press body?

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (05:10):
And it ain't just like a little sign on the
side or when you walk in, it's like you cannot
miss it. And so to see that and see so
many of my college friends come back, who you know,
graduated with me almost forty years or thirty nine years ago.
Next year will be our fortieth anniversary of graduating from college.
All my family and friends, we about about one hundred.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
And fifty people show up.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Bus came from New York, people drove from all over.
We had a big celebration afterwards. It was really it
was awesome, It really was.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
And it just.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
It put together like the perspective of my career and
the work and energy that I've put in. You notice,
and everybody, anybody who knows me knows that I've always
wornd worked at.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
A lot of stuff, at a lot you know, for
a long time.

Speaker 4 (06:04):
And it ain't Johnny come lately, or they just decided, hey,
wait a minute, that guy he went to our school,
let's celebrate him. No, no, no, I've been you know,
speaking to the kids. I've set up a scholarship for
journalism students. This goes back to nineteen ninety. I was
in a TV commercial for the school in nineteen eighty
eight when I was twenty four years old. I'm saying, so,

(06:24):
I have a long standing relationship with Southern Connecticut State
University in New Haven, and it's a great it's Division
two school for sports and it's just grown and all
these new buildings and all the other stuff. The president,
the athletic director, Greg Bernard, is the alumni director, just

(06:45):
the greatest people. And I mean seriously, they took care
of me and my family and it was great.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
That's all just a brother. So but don't wait, last point,
did you set a thug tear?

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I did not. CROP made it through. I made it through.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
But I was okay, okay, I was with Clem, one
of those if I blink, they're gonna come, it might
come down.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
But it was awesome, brother, Yes it was. It was awesome.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
All right, let's welcome into the odd couple of crew
because you wouldn't be able to do this fine radio
program without him.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Rob g is our producer. Wow, you know him and married.
Just go ahead, brother and sister, go back there. I
can't stand you.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
I can't.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
He's mad at me right now. Actually, what's new?

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Steve the Seger is at the anchor desk he'll keep
us updated program.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Elijah is our social media guru. Yes alive and on
the ones and twos? Me Mary? Why you bug I
see Robb Rose eyes at you? Who me Mary? Mary?
They are? They always got their little brother sisters, all right,
and let's do this.

Speaker 4 (07:48):
For over forty years, tire Reik has been helping customers
find the right tires for how, what and where they drive.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Ship fast and free back by free road.

Speaker 4 (07:57):
Hazard protection with convenient installation is like mobile tire installation.
Tire reck dot Com the way tire buying should be.
And Rob g Let's go Eagles. They lose first time.
They had won eighteen in a row, twenty one out
of twenty two and they lose on Sunday.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
Well, they won ten straight. Jalen Hurts had the eighteen
because remember he didn't finish that game. That's right, j
Jalen Hurts is different animal. Yes, they lost on Sunday
to the Denver Broncos. And it was a big game
because all last week and in the last couple of
weeks there's been conversation about the passing offense. AJ Brown's
not happy, DeVonta Smith's not happy. So what the Eagles
did on Sunday. They said, hey, we are going to

(08:36):
feature our two big wide receivers.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
Nice goog job.

Speaker 7 (08:40):
Even though they came in ranked thirty first NFL in passing,
they attempted thirty eight passes on Sunday and ran the
ball just eleven times. And needless to say, it backfire
on because you mentioned their ten game win streak is
no more than Eagles try to flip the script on
their identity, and it backfired in a big way.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
You know, me and you talked about the Eagles rob
a couple of obviously a couple of times over the
last few years, and I can't make out what the
heck the Eagles are other than they're starting to be
a chink in the armor.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
Something's going on with them.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
And I think that last play, that hell Mary, that
they could have caught Davonte Smith looked like he was
actually about to grab it, and AJ Brown said, it
starts to catching the ball, I'm gonna catch Davonte's neck.
It's just body slammed his own teammate to the ground.
And I think that play is more indigative of what
the Eagles are looking like right now internally and externally.

(09:31):
AJ Brown doesn't have the wherewithal the sense of say
Davonte Smith might come down with this, So they both
end up on the ground and as a shot of
them just laying on each other at the end of
that game. Something is going on, Robinie does. It makes
sense considering you know, they're the Rainning champs, They've got
time together, same coach and I guess the new coach.
They got the same kind of core, so you would
think they'd be locked and loaded in as far as

(09:52):
where they are, and man, something is off and a
couple of things to know. Number one, the thing they've
they've done nothing else. They've run the ball right, That's
what they do. They were second all last year averaging
one hundred and son.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
They had an unbelievable running back. What an unbelievable year.
Well as I'm saying one hundred and seventy nine yards.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah, but the defenses are playing different Sakwan is not
going to get two thousand.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
They don't need two thousands.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I'm saying more than thirty on six carries in the
second half Verst Denver. If something is off right now
with the rushing attack, he's averaging three point one yards
of carry, which is the worst for the Eagles in
like thirty years. So something's going on with the running game,
which is fine, okay, you say, Well, like you said,
people are focusing in on the rushing now because that's
what we've done well.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
So we're airing it out.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
As Rob Jesus mentioned, their last in passing, they win
a half without a completed pass. They've gone a couple
of hands with only seven yards one.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
How many games have they won.

Speaker 1 (10:46):
They're four and one right now, and they're a block
field goal. They don't make that from being worst record.
They just something.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
They can sit here all day and talk about that
at all. All block field goals.

Speaker 4 (10:56):
Somebody fumbles, somebody to Oh if the Charges, if the
Chargers didn't throw interception, they would be Washington.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
They're throwing interception game. I don't play and the Eagles don't.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Look, I'm not concerned at all because you I remember
last year and we can find the tape.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
Yes, you were going into the Super Bowl. Oh look
at Jalen Hurts. He don't look good. There's something wrong
with them.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
I know you were hoping that, you know, so that
the Lions could beat them or something. So you were
kind of talking to it, because you were talking down
about Jalen Hurts and how he was performing and he
was the weak link. And guess who was the super
Bowl MVP. It was the guy you thought was the
weak link.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Let me, let's run the tape. Let's be clear what
I said. My concern with Jalen Hurts, and it still stands.
My concern was if he were in a shootout, could
he pull it off. Not that Jalen Hurts can't win
a game. You don't have to be in a shootout,
But that was my concern. If I have to say,
Jalen Hurts, go win it. Jalen Hurts has gotten the
job done. He's been, he's been, He's had a heck
of a career. I'm not even arguing that if I

(12:00):
said to you right now wrong, if I said nothing
is wrong, nothing is wrong, nothing is wrong.

Speaker 8 (12:06):
And can't run the balls. The teams go through this.
You said that about the Steelers. The Steelers can't run
the ball. Aaron Rodgers is forty one. No, I'm saying
what you said. Hold on, listen to what I'm saying.
You said that earlier.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
They're three and one and haven't even played one game
at home. My point is football is very simple. It's
about wins and losses. Stop with the how it looks,
how it looks, does it matter, You're not total, doesn't
matter it looks okay, does not.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Lose, lose for in the row. Okay. Then you could
go back with that.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
And Rob only would say this to Rob, because Rob
set up here an entirely last year knocking the Chiefs,
who did the exact same thing.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
No, all all season long. No, they did.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Nothing but win to the two to six, fifteen and one.
And then what had what happened in this super Bowl?
All I said happened in super Bowl? So don't tell
me happened. Don't tell you was told you hire.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
They weren't super Bowl. Yes, I did entire told you
telling me they don't look good.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Something wrong. I don't like the way they win. This
can't keep winning. Nothing you did, They can't keep winning
like that. I don't like that's what you say. So
all I'm saying is no Eagles, something is off with them,
because again I'm not the difference The.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Difference is on that story is the Eagles have a
track record. They won the Super Bowl, and people.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Take one one Andree who has a track record talking
the thing last year.

Speaker 3 (13:38):
All I'm telling you is I'm not I'm not gonna
get my pennies.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
They lost the game. They but you've been for a year,
they've been playing Finally for a J. Brown just man
figure it out.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
Last year going into the Super Bowl that he was
the weak link and that about a great team.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
You concerned about it, Grant, And what was the VP
the v P.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
It wasn't the offensive line exactly, wasn't the defensive line.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
It was him?

Speaker 1 (14:09):
And you said, and J, So what's going on when
I have both of my star receivers questioning me Devontae
Smith who doesn't see to say the receivers do?

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Then you have that's what they do?

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Then you running back to the ball. It's about is
off with the egos?

Speaker 3 (14:27):
One through?

Speaker 1 (14:28):
Absolutely they got and they got what twelve more games
to go, and then they got to go through And
something is off with the Eagles. And if you don't
have to buy it, I'll buy it for you. In fact,
I'll buy two packs of it each. Something is off
with them and I don't know what it is, and
I don't know how they remedy it, but they can't

(14:49):
keep their This is not sustainable whinning winning these games?

Speaker 3 (14:52):
What does that mean? What are you saying? So what
are you saying they're not gonna make the playoffs?

Speaker 1 (14:55):
The're not gonna win a division for so what are
you saying not gonna win a super Bowl like this?

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Okay, then you can put a stamp on that all that.
That's easy to say because teams don't repeat. It's hard
to wait, wait, because that's what you said about the Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
The whole entire year. And then and then it's not
easy to say that you waste my whole year.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Because then I say, everybody in their uncle picked the
Chiefers because they were the super.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Told you your year like they didn't get to the
super Bowl. No, but it didn't matter. I told you everywhere.
You can't picking on the lose. It wasn't going.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
I didn't picked them to lose. Rock He had the
stat it was twelve names. Ten with the Lions. I picked,
and we took the lines and we picked the Chiefs.
We literally keep no picking.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
I don't have that.

Speaker 4 (15:40):
You could go back to the did it already twelve?
No way, I picked twelve times about the Chiefs. He's
calling you out, Thank you fine? It was ten five ten.
He just said it was it's ten. I just saw
fun because he's on the phone twice. Mary pipe down,
and how you.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
Calling you out?

Speaker 1 (15:56):
Mary? Don't play the food at them, Mary pipe down.
Don't throw my food that I'm paying money for. I
do it cheese cakey tell you? Oh yeah, actually, now
he might eat it. Now, he might pick it upout
the heat. He's back now.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Are you chicken
Little like Kelvin? Or are you worried about the Eagles?
Is this style of winning, an overall style of play sustainable?

Speaker 3 (16:23):

of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Jordan?

Speaker 11 (18:25):
Oh hey guys, how you doing?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
What's up?

Speaker 11 (18:28):
But listening to you guys the so long finally got through?

Speaker 3 (18:32):
Awesome?

Speaker 11 (18:32):
I think, yes, Calvin, I couldn't disagree with you more.
I think Rob is completely in the right. They they're
winning ugly, but outside of Sunday, they're still winning. You know,
I think you gotta still give them the benefit of
doubt that until they are no longer you know, look
like winning at a hot cliff, that that that you

(18:54):
know they'll still come through. You know, they played the
Giants and two of that next three games they could
very well be.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
One exactly exactly, and they could get healthy. The Giants
or the the Giants are team.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
You could beat.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
You know, everybody was making them. But but everybody's making
a big thing about Jackie. You know expected But did
you see that somebody equated him?

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Thank you? And the Yankee starter?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (19:19):
Uh? Which one? Sliss?

Speaker 4 (19:21):
The rookie who pitched against twelve twelve strikers. But but
I was like, one's in a playoff game. One is
a regular season game. I don't think it's the same thing.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
No one one remind you one regulars like give him
come on now, giant pressure.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
Postseason is a little bit different. Jr. In Indianapolis, you're
on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up,
j R?

Speaker 4 (19:40):
What's doing?

Speaker 3 (19:42):
What's up? Brother?

Speaker 5 (19:43):
He congratulations ve on your treatment this weekend.

Speaker 4 (19:47):
Thank you man, Go ahead, go ahead, let me hear you.
I'll push back on you.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
In the world, they only get a four game sample
in Casey every week on how to win Ugly, how
to win Howard may come, And they kept a low
ego about themselves.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
No, here's the difference. No, here's the difference.

Speaker 4 (20:09):
The Chiefs had a particular kind of offense when they
first burst onto the scene and became the Chiefs and
it to deteriorated year after year.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
J R.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
That's what I was making a point about.

Speaker 6 (20:25):
Mahmes.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
No, no, no, they told Patrick Mahomes take this deal,
this team friendly deal. We're gonna keep it together for you.
That's what they told him, and he took that deal.
My point is the Eagles were never that. They were
never that what Jalen Hurd saying. He had a really
good year one year right where he had a really
good year, but he was never like he's spectacular, he's
he's in the conversation, he's gonna win for super Bowl.

(20:47):
Nobody talked about him of that ilk And that's what
I was talking about and watching Kansas City.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
The potential for their explosiveness. They always had the potential
for explosiveness.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
Yeah, but you know, people looked at him as the leak,
the link last year going into the Super Bowl?

Speaker 3 (21:02):
Am I right or wrong about that?

Speaker 5 (21:05):
And they they were riding the horse that they were
supposed to rideon Barkley and really just coming.

Speaker 4 (21:12):
Into and when it came down to it, they took away.
He had forty yards in the Super Bowl and it
didn't matter. They steam why you fall off the horses.
What I'm trying to figure out. They got a couple
of offensive linemens switching ruse.

Speaker 3 (21:24):
But man, Scott, do Scott, you're on the couple.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Of qualitiers in North Carolina.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
What's up, Scott?

Speaker 11 (21:31):
What's up my guys?

Speaker 3 (21:32):
How you doing yo?

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Yo?

Speaker 8 (21:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (21:35):
The sky is always sunny in Philadelphia. The Philly's gonna
win a night, and the Eagles are good. I mean,
we have a new offensive coordinator every year.

Speaker 3 (21:43):
That's what's real question. Why why I'm asking legitimately, why
do you.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
Think because we're the team that if you come here,
you do your job, you get an opportunity, you get
it right.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
They come every year. It's crazy hacking like y'allah. The
nineties Cowboys are something up in this thing.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Eighties forty nine.

Speaker 6 (22:04):
Know how good daylor hurts is he every year he
makes the playoffs, the super Bowl twice. He gets the
job done no matter how it looks. And defense the insplut.
The teams are coming along now too.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Yeah, I'm not worried. Thanks, Scott, appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
Look, Scott, we'll do it, agains, Scott, feel like we
do this all the time, all right? Eight seven seven
ninety nine one five. So okay, we took some calls
on that coming out. We gotta have a conversation about
about your guy, about my guy. Here we go, n
Aaron Glenn, your guy. We'll talk about that on the
other side. Right now, we got Steve Saga gonna get
you sent on what's trending?

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Hey, Steve, Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk
lineup in the nation. Catch all of our shows at

Speaker 1 (22:46):
All right, Steve, thank you so much. Our couple Robin
Kelvin on a Magic City Monday. Business fluctuations make running
your business and manufacturing business complex, but staff of your
business doesn't have to be. Let Express Employment Professations provide
the workforce you need. Go to expresspros dot com to
find a location near you. That's Expresspros dot god dot com.

(23:08):
What's your issue with Aaron Glynn, Well, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
He's cutting people.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
I think he only cuts up kickoff returners or right
partner turn What is it kickoff for two return Yeah,
yess he gotten rid of two of those guys. They're
a reason that they're zero and five and off to
the world starring rocking through that door of.

Speaker 3 (23:24):
The worst start of any Jets coach.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
As bad as the Jets have been, they went to
the Super Bowl in nineteenth, the nineteen sixty nine season,
right January seventy they won the super Bowl the nineteen
sixty nine season, And to think that he has the
worst record of any Jets coach because of all the
bad coaches. But my point is is is justin Fields,

(23:47):
did you watch seriously and don't let the score fool
you when the game, when the game was in the balance,
what was it? Thirty to three? He couldn't He couldn't
generate any offense thirty to three. The weapons they have,
and oh my god, the Jets have all these weapons
and at some point you have to look at this
and go like, what are you gonna do?

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Here are you going? And it's not just the offensive
defense is bad too.

Speaker 1 (24:11):
We talked about that last year even with Aaron Rodgers.
We talked about right, and the defense wasn't that good.
So my point is it is, is how much is
enough of watching justin Fields? Thirty to three? The Cowboys
have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They

(24:33):
were going up against like the worst DC in the league.
The Cowboys rank as bad as it gets.

Speaker 4 (24:42):
And I'm just saying to you, at some point, do
you just let him play it out and you're just
gonna you don't mind if you go one in fifty
to one in sixteen or two and fifteen, or at
some point, does he have to show you something before
you make a change to salvage the season or to
send a message. He's into sending messages. All I'm saying,

(25:02):
if I'm Aaron Glenn, I'm making a quarterback change.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
I'm first of all, Tyrod Taylor, if he didn't get
stabbed in the chest by a team medical person, might
have had to end up a nice career. That did
he suit the medical to suit the team and the medical.
I don't know what he may have seriously because that
guy stiming his career. Yeah, that's what I was saying.
So Tyrod Taylor is a more than capable backup. He yeah,

(25:26):
he did, so, Okay he should. Yeah, there's insurance. If
you're a doctor, you know what I mean, you can't
be having insurance for sure. Uh So that was my point.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
Tyrod Taylor is trying to get five million, but we
don't know what he wound up selling.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
Uh but even more than the money, him losing that time,
him losing that you know, have to get back, get
back healthy, and get back right and to get back
that get that opportunity which you can't always get back.
So Tyrod Taylor is very, very very capable. It almost
won him a game earlier this season. So Tyrod K.
Taylor is that So if you want to go to that,
absolutely there is a part of me that does wonder
if they're like, we ain't mad if we don't lose,

(26:04):
but winning but one.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
Or two games and see what's out there.

Speaker 4 (26:06):
That's not what you want to hear you, But that's
not what you when you're more than justin fields. And
that wasn't the idea, Like because they could have got
a stinky not some guy who has potential or maybe
you still believe in could have got somebody said let's
just have this guy mop up, you know what I mean,
for the year, let us try to get one of

(26:28):
the top quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Maybe we don't mind.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Okay, maybe they did, but bring him man, he'll stick
it up the joint. No, Todd, Listen. The disappointing thing
with Aaron Glynn for me is you're a defensive guy.
Obviously yourself coming from the Lions, had a handful of
years there. So to me, if you were losing but
your defense was looking good, then I can hang my hair.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (26:51):
You know right now justin Fields isn't playing anything. It's hey,
it's only four or five games. You can hang your
hat on that. But the fact that your offense looks terrible,
that your defense looks terrible, you know. And that's to
me with something, there's nothing that hang my hat on.
And you know me, you know one of my things,
I'm big on identity, meaning all right, we gonna lock

(27:11):
you down. That Texans are a great example of this,
and this with me and Rob g got into Friday
where you weren't here. He kept to all Man the
raven I said, if nothing else, the Texans be locking
folks up and keeping themselves in games they shouldn't be.
For the last two seasons season and almost a half now,
the Texans have that defensive front and have that defensive
corps where they stay in games where you're like, how
are they still in this?

Speaker 3 (27:32):
They muck up games.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Against teams that are really good and they ultimately may lose,
but they were in it. To me, that's what I'm
saying with Aaron Glenn and his Jets is at least
if I had that, I could be like nothing, There's nothing,
and that's what's disappointing so far. Now rest of the
season can improve. Sure, if you're him, you're selling yourself,
your GM, your owner, and your team on Hey man,

(27:54):
I came from a team that went three and thirteen
or whatever it was with Dan Campbell, and then the
next year we want eight and nine because we won
sixth straight at the end, and then then when the
next year was great with championship year.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
So that's what you're selling.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
But that GM could also give you eight other examples
where the coach started off bad and they never got
batter his own building.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
That he could just go down there.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
I could go down portraits of all of our coaches
and say, can I tell you there's a guy named
Robert Sala who was here before here you go.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
He had a bad first year and a bad second year,
and a bad the third year, half a third year.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
You could just walk down the wall of every here's
our recent coaches who all had about.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
It sounds good. Just like everybody was like, well, he
could be who were they trying to He could be
Geno Smith? You know this is what they're saying about
justin Fields. You know what I'm saying, Like that was
the storyline. Oh yeah, he could go and he could
be Geno Smith, or he can be uh in Seattle.
I'm just Donald, Sam Donald. Oh he could be Baker Mayfield.

(28:57):
But I'm just saying. But but that was the idea,
like you pitched that. Listen, don't don't paint him in
the corner and don't say he can't play. Other guys
were written off and they went elsewhere and played. This
is three teams in three years.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
He don't look he don't look good, and I don't
like I don't even like what he's saying after like
his essence after the games. Listen, Ultimately you have seventeen
of these things. So yes, you're gonna win, You're gonna lose,
and you're not saying you're supposed to be the highest
high when we're the best team ever or lowis Low's
we lose.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
But I need a little fighting you. I need a
little like, come on, I don't want almost two.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
You know it's whatever, right, so you know we're playing
the kids making a lot of money. Never bring up
money when you are losing and your city is upset.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Right now, that's the worst. Don't want to hear that.
Don't go Lebron on me.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
You're just miserable and your miserable life and I can
don't know if there's no winning in that.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
That was the ultimate I think in the history of
a press conference to diss the.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Feel if that were not to kick a horse when
it's but if that were Tyreek Hill is some other
certain people, I'll be like, all right, okay, whatever. But
the idea is the Lebron is too wise been around
to to say that.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
That's how much.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
That's how hurt he was, and he knew what was coming,
and he was like, well, at least I don't have
to wake up and be in your miserable.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
That was That was like, just because somebody might be
critical of you, right, that doesn't mean they have a
miserable life.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
In fact, they may love their life, but they don't
like the way you're playing right now. You're team playing
right now.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
But by the way, Rob's what the heck is this decision.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
That he's doing now?

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Wat's would be something stupid for like he's got a
commercial with Lai's or something, potato chips.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
I got to decide sour cream a barbecue.

Speaker 7 (30:39):
I got some inside information on this one, okay.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
And I'll tell you next Woo. You ain't even over
on this side of the glass. So is he gonna
steal another TV show idea for me?

Speaker 10 (30:49):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (30:49):
I'm sorry that's going on on the SHOPB real quick.

Speaker 7 (30:54):
I know you're a big stats guy, your guy Justin Fields.
In the three games that he's fully finished, two hundred
and ninety four to total yards a game. Uh, seven
total touchdowns, no picks, nice and the fattening. Don't ask
me when the yards or the touchdowns came, but just know.

Speaker 3 (31:11):
That the total numbers. Yeah, here, here's the number. There's
the only number you need.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
And if you're seriously, if you're Aaron Glennon, you're serious
about trying to get this thing turning around or whatever?

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Is it?

Speaker 7 (31:21):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Justin Fields? Is oh in twenty six? If the opponent
scores twenty one or more points.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
That just sounds like all I need is a defense
to lock them down to nineteen. We up, City Boys Up.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
But he ain't gonna get you, you know, like that's scary,
like twenty one and you're dead like that what.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
What that's that's that's kind of a low would be
if you said twenty seven, okay, cool, that's a lie, right.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
That's up.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
Twenty one is low defense line and leafans get the
same information you got. And oh in twenty six? Can
y'all keeping the nineteen Can y'all beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Old?

Speaker 3 (31:55):
Can you beat the old Ravens? I mean, can you
bet the old Jets? Can you shot up? Scott right?
Can't wait? Wait? Yes, you can wait?

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Yeah, just Fields might be waiting a while to get
a win. It's the ot Couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Uh Fox Sports Radio Shoe Boys, The Couple, Rob Parker,
Keven Washington On a Magic City Monday, We're back at it.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Hopefully you had a great weekend.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Got a lot coming up over the next couple hours,
so make sure you stay with us. Rob Parker, MLB,
bro AC Couple FSR KB live for myself on socials
reached out to us that way.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Right now, it's time for the plate of the date.
How do the gone goes? Jones? Sweet thing left. Taylor
cuts back at the fire into the en zone. He
dances in again. Three of them today, three.

Speaker 12 (32:51):
Touchdowns for Chonathan Taylor, for Ken Fetty flies. The horn
sounds and Lucas Oil Stadium is full of jubilation.

Speaker 3 (33:02):
The Colts now lead thirty eight to three. Three touchdowns
today for Jonathan Taylor.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Jonathan Taylor had a huge game. The coltsman, I guess
they're telling us all don't sleep on us. That's your
tire rack play of the day. For over forty years,
Tirereck has been oping customers find the right tires for how,
what and where they drive. Ship fast and free back
by free Road has a protection with convenient installation options
like mobile tire installation tire reck dot Com. It is
the way tire buying should be. Now it's time for

(33:31):
Checho City.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
All right, here we go. The last time I would
see it two and one.

Speaker 4 (33:38):
That put my record up to twenty nine and thirty
twenty nine and thirty since we set the clock. Here
we go tonight, I'm gonna take the Brewers, Okay minus
one and a half, all the Cubbies, Nope, Milwaukee trying
to go up two, all at home in Milwaukee, and

(33:58):
the Monday night football game. I'm gonna go with the
Jaguars plus three and a half hosting Kansas City. Jaguars
off to a three and one start. Big game in
their like existence right now, Like.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
This is it?

Speaker 4 (34:13):
It really is because if they win this game and
we'll just get four and one, right, you beat the Chiefs,
you knock the Chiefs down.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
This is an opport big game from Trevor Lawrence on
his twenty sixth birthday.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
I just think that I like the three and a half.
Maybe they lose.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
I'm I'm hoping they win, but I'm just saying that
they play well.

Speaker 3 (34:33):
And that's it.

Speaker 4 (34:34):
So again, best bet Brewers minus one and a half
in Milwaukee, and I'm gonna take the Jaguars plus three
and a half because last week's explosion against Baltimore has
been proven that it's the Ravens defense, not anybody's offense.
Because we saw Houston couldn't score the save a touchdown

(34:54):
and save their lives. They scored six touchdowns coming into
this game. They had five all season. They had six
on Sunday against Baltimore, and yet John Harball still gonna
keep the DC And we will get to that.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
But I told you everybody jumped on me. I'm still
jumping on the moment. All right, all right there you.
I'm not telling you who the better. I'm telling you
who I bet on. All right, there you have it.
What were you, robj You were about to tell us
something before the break? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (35:26):
I got inside sources on what James and the decision
Part two, According to multiple.

Speaker 1 (35:31):
Sauces close to the situation, the sauce sauce bbcue, he'd
been hanging out with Tony and.

Speaker 7 (35:38):
Exactly because Chris always had sources, right, I got sauces
a little different.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
I don't think I don't think he's worked out.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
There.

Speaker 3 (35:47):
What's the sauceage dripping about what they got for us?
So what allegedly what's going on?

Speaker 7 (35:52):
And this is more Lebron James trying to pull the
wool over our eyes because this is just a cross
promotion with Amazon Prime because Prime Day is coming.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
I have one thousand percent believe that because that's what
I say, that's why I say Laize potato chips. You know,
like I got to decide sour cream or barbecue. Like
I knew it's gonna be something.

Speaker 4 (36:11):
Like I thought they were gonna say fifty percent off
Blaze Pizza since they don't put a lot of cheese
on it.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
Anyway, I'm just saying, you don't go.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
To Blaze Pizza. I went to Blaze. You gave it
a shot, and I was like, I wanted to set
the place a blaze. I'm just, hey, Robsie, we need
to keep a list of all the places he doesn't go. Now.
I know the red place that has a panda on
their box, don't know who that could be. The place
that is fifty yards from us, that's the only place

(36:39):
in walking distance from here. That's crazy Chickens all I'm
gonna say, crazy chicken that's a good way.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
That's a good way of reference. No, I'm just saying like, like,
there you go. You and now he's not ordering Prime because.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Now you're not ordering Prime because Lebron or Blaze Pizza.
Who's counting the who's counting the string cheese? Like you
y'all put eleven more pieces on there?

Speaker 3 (37:00):
Please? Have you eaten that blaze. Have y'all in years?

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Have you?

Speaker 8 (37:03):
Well?

Speaker 1 (37:03):
My daughters go every just about not every, but like
a lot of third after the gymnastics, like their thing
after gymnastics.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
But the pizza is not that quick. They don't put
enough cheese. The kid. They don't know any better. But
you got to see.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
That's the thing, though, you got to know how to
You gotta finesse that thing. When I was in New
York over the weekend before I went to Connecticut, cheese
slices with gobs of cheese for dollar fifty. Y'all gotta relact.
Y'all know crazy, But y'all got the best pizza. That's
the best peach. Y'all got to relax.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
And the pizza I had no rat hair, was very good.
It was delicious.

Speaker 7 (37:34):
You know that.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
I just heard, Uh, there're three types of rats. Oh,
don't bring up the rat talk.

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Don't one brought it up. No, I don't want to.
I don't want to hear about rats three times. Have
you ever seen one in like a real New York
rat before?

Speaker 1 (37:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (37:49):
Oh my god, who has it? It's like a raccoon.
If you don't in New York, how do you have
you really gone to New York? You know what crazy,
how big they are. I'll tell you this, and I
know I'm gonna put a jinx on myself. Go, I've
never seen one the last ten times I've been to
New York. I'm not seeing a brat.

Speaker 7 (38:04):
And I just walked straight into the tub there subletting
in the building, cross subway.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
I do all.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
I walk the streets, seriously, I'm not exaggerating. Well, you're
definitely better knock on some wood. I mean, but I've
seen people, you know, running in the street. Yeah, we've
seen people, and you are people. We saw it in
New Orleans because I didn't want to see it. What's
the three times I'm I'm so there's.

Speaker 1 (38:27):
There are that during there's one the ones that are sluggish,
they says, because they're poisoned, like they've eaten the port,
but they haven't died.

Speaker 3 (38:34):
They're like zombies. Those are the sluggish ones. But why
don't we got to hear this?

Speaker 1 (38:38):
They're the ones who're breaking fast, little screamish ones. And
then there's the last ones who all they want to
do is each your toes rob
