Got blowed out on Thursday Night Football by a couple
of rookies Jackson Dark Camp Scataboo and the New York
Football Giants. And a lot of it stems from a really,
really bad offense.

They entered the game ranked twenty six in rushing, and
there's to be a rushing team, and they couldn't run
the ball after the first drive last night Jalen Hurts,
so they said, hey, we can't run the ball. Jalen
Hurts are gonna be a guy. In the last three games,
Jalen Hurts is six for twenty eight on third down.
It's completing just thirty five percent of his passes on

passes beyond ten yards in the second half of games,
when teams make their adjustments offensively. Defensively, they rank in
the bottom five and damn near every advanced stat when
it comes to offense. Needless to say, now you got
you had a team meeting between Jalen Hurds, Saquon Barkley,

we're hard, nos, we play defense great, Okay, at least
we know if the offense is struggling, you can lean
on that. Great example, And I was telling rob g
this a couple of times when you were out roped,
was that at least the.

Texans can hang their hat on that cee.

They stroud struggling, but we keep being in games because
of our defense not winning.

What does that mean?

My point is you at least can say half of

The defense and offense we have locked down. They don't
have that right now. So what the Eagles. That's what
makes it really interesting is that if if you could say, well,
shoot man, defense is sucking right now, but at least
we got Lamar and Dereck Henry. Our offense is great.
That's not the case with the Eagles, and that's what
makes us.

That's good that they lose and give up forty points
every night.

So if you look at the offense right now, total
offense is thirtieth, how do you how do you only.

Passing thirty first rushing. At least we can hang our
hat on that, no, you can't twenty fifth. Then you
go to the defensive side of the ball, total defense, twentieth,
twenty sixth rush defense. They're not stopping anybody. They're seventeenth
in scoring, so people can score on them. It's just
very strange right now for a reigning champ to not
have an identifiable trait. That is what makes this really weird. Usually,

if you look at the Kansas City Chiefs last year,
where I heard you diss on them for an entire year,
but yet they won. Yet the Eagles you keep defending.
But what I'll add to that was, at least they
could say we're down receivers, we're down for checker, we're
down a running.

The Eagles have their full roster.

You have to maybe on paper, the best two receivers
as far as the tandem. Then you have a running
back who should be top one, two, three, a good
offensive line, a quarterback who's been there for years. So
this is what makes it strange, Rob, is that what
is going on? And now you have DeVante Smith.

And a one thing?

Do you have a new offensive coordinator who's never called plays?

So then why is the defense back?

I'm just asking you why the offensive and defensive line
aren't the same as they were last year it was an.

why you're saying, what is wrong with our offense. We're
going to need to be able to score to win games.
And they cannot score.

The ball if they giving up thirty four points to
the one and four Giants as well, or if they
fumble the ball or give the ball up or throw
a bad pick like those are the things that go
into the game as well, and you can't act like
those things didn't happen. And my only routine what they do.
And that's my point that there's certain things. It's just
like the Ravens when they gave up those games with

what is your concern are they not gonna make the play.

I think a lot of their issues come from a

not on the same can be a disaster. It looks

is banged up, and they won last year because their
O line was the best in football and they became
a downhill running running team with Saquon Well, they're not.
They can't they can't do that. Teams are playing them differently,
and they need to rely on Jalen. And here's the

problem with Jalen is that listen, he's got winning DNA,
the whole thing. But he's not a volume passer. He's
not a guy that's going to throw the ball thirty
five times a game and he's gonna bail you out.
It's never been that. And he struggled. Man, he holds
onto the ball. He doesn't get rid of it. Early,
teams are messing with him. AJ's upset. There's all kinds

of team meetings. There's a little there's a little scary
right here. It's a it's a big deal. What's happening.
These are the chance and they got to get it right.
They have another two games before the bye week. Last year,
during the by week, Cherry Any almost got fired. And
so now the same kind of thing. They got it

I'm not concerned. I think that they can get it
turned around. They got too many weapons, too many good players.
The offensive line has to get healthy, and the play
caller has to get up to speed with everybody. I
really believe that. And they got two more games, as

It's completing just thirty five percent of his passes on

of our defense not winning.

The defense and offense we have locked down. They don't
have that right now. So what the Eagles. That's what
makes it really interesting is that if if you could say, well,
shoot man, defense is sucking right now, but at least
we got Lamar and Dereck Henry. Our offense is great.
That's not the case with the Eagles, and that's what
makes us.

So if you look at the offense right now, total
offense is thirtieth, how do you how do you only.

Passing thirty first rushing. At least we can hang our
hat on that, no, you can't twenty fifth. Then you
go to the defensive side of the ball, total defense, twentieth,
twenty sixth rush defense. They're not stopping anybody. They're seventeenth
in scoring, so people can score on them. It's just
very strange right now for a reigning champ to not
have an identifiable trait. That is what makes this really weird. Usually,

if you look at the Kansas City Chiefs last year,
where I heard you diss on them for an entire year,
but yet they won. Yet the Eagles you keep defending.
But what I'll add to that was, at least they
could say we're down receivers, we're down for checker, we're
down a running.

The Eagles have their full roster.

You have to maybe on paper, the best two receivers
as far as the tandem. Then you have a running
back who should be top one, two, three, a good
offensive line, a quarterback who's been there for years. So

is going on? And now you have DeVante Smith.

Do you have a new offensive coordinator who's never called plays?

going to need to be able to score to win games.

fumble the ball or give the ball up or throw
a bad pick like those are the things that go
into the game as well, and you can't act like
those things didn't happen. And my only routine what they do.
And that's my point that there's certain things. It's just
like the Ravens when they gave up those games with

what is your concern are they not gonna make the play.

but this team, this team is going to bounce back.
It reminds me a little bit of the beginning of
last year where they were trying to figure out who
the heck they were and they wanted to start off,
you know, letting jailing hurts Cook and him drop back
and you know, just pick teams apart. That's not the identity.
It has to come through State Kwan. It has to
come through ground and pound and playing off their defense

and everything moving from that so that that's who they
you know, I think the Eagles right now that they've
lost some tough ones. Frankly, let's keep it one hundred.

going on with the Eagles, and yet they made two

and win a five game series. That group had had
so much pressure on them, they just kind of they
kind of melt that. They press, they press really hard.

They would have favored in Vegas to win the World Series.

I know. I mean, look, you know, listen, two years ago,
all they gotta do is beat Arizona up three to one.
They lose the last three games in the series. They
lose games five and six of Philadelphia, right, six and
seven in Philadelphia, and then they get swept by the Mets.
And then this series like it nursed. Harper hasn't wonted

these pressing that old group just presses.

Yeah, that's why you led me to where I was
gonna go, Anthony with this one. With the Swarber and
and Harper and Turner and these guys, as Rob alluded to,
they were favor going into the obviously the entire postseason
and against this series against the Dodgers. What's the makeup
of this team? You know, we we have to dissect
the Mets when they don't make it. We have to
dissect the Yankees when they lose in the postseason. Is

this a just running back will be good, A bunch
of decisions didn't make. Is there a major trade need
to happen, cause my god, oh yeah.

Now, listen, Schwarmer is a free agent, and you know,
he spoke pretty It was pretty serious the way he spoke,
like he was done. I mean, you know, they need
to bring it back because they don't have where you
gonna fight fifty home runs? Right like to your point,
You're right, like the manager is gonna get fired or
stepped down, but he won't be back. They have to

look to do something dramatic. But Bryce may have to
go back to the outfields. Turner may have to go
play center fields. Wow, cal Sallos is gone. They're gonna
make wholesale changes and they have to the only way
now Turner and obviously Harper are have long term deals,
so you can't you have anything with Turner and Harper.

who was their best player and they had no catching prospects.

or something. But you lost to the Giants with a
rookie quarterback and Scatable went crazy boo.

My brother. There's there's real there's really there's a real
freight that twenty twenty three and the skid. Remember they
were ten and one and then they fell off the planet.
They had major issues. There's the same sort of issues
and a new play caller, Kevin Batulo, who has been disastrous.

I think a lot of their issues come from a
new play caller. Uh can get if you if it's
not on the same can be a disaster. It looks
like it's so far.

Because yeah, and and the issue is their O line
is banged up, and they won last year because their
O line was the best in football and they became
a downhill running running team with Saquon Well, they're not.
They can't they can't do that. Teams are playing them differently,
and they need to rely on Jalen. And here's the

problem with Jalen is that listen, he's got winning DNA,
the whole thing. But he's not a volume passer. He's
not a guy that's going to throw the ball thirty
five times a game and he's gonna bail you out.
It's never been that. And he struggled. Man, he holds
onto the ball. He doesn't get rid of it. Early,
teams are messing with him. AJ's upset. There's all kinds

of team meetings. There's a little there's a little scary
right here. It's a it's a big deal. What's happening.
These are the chance and they got to get it right.
They have another two games before the bye week. Last year,
during the by week, Cherry Any almost got fired. And
so now the same kind of thing. They got it

turn it around.

I'm not concerned. I think that they can get it
turned around. They got too many weapons, too many good players.
The offensive line has to get healthy, and the play
caller has to get up to speed with everybody. I
really believe that. And they got two more games, as
you said, before the bye. But I'm not bailing on
the Eagles, not not whatsoever, not not yet, don't bail.

the Tigers to the Alcs, and he got beat up.

Thomas and lost seven to three. He had like his
