Rob Parker, kelvin Washington.
Speaker 2 (01:45):
And uh, let me introduce my partner.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
He is kelvin Washington, man shoot, feeling good, had a few.
Uh it was a long weekend because I had I
had the girls all by myself and the wife went
out of town for a little bit. I let her go,
say go ahead, live your life a little bit boo
and uh, oh wow, yeah if I tell you where too.
She was on an island out here in the street,
hoping Dexter wasn't out there.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Wow, you know I'm.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
Talking, got a groove back. I think she's like, okay,
she Dexter, Hold up, what is it like? He probably said, yeah,
what is it like?
Speaker 4 (02:18):
You know, you're a successful career woman and your husband
has two jobs. He's always tired and sleeping and taking naps.
That must be hard to sleep next to a guy
like that.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Guess what she would have said, yep, and that's what
paid for this trip.
Speaker 5 (02:34):
You feel me married Mack, And that's good. He could
pay for the trip. But I'm just telling you listen.
You know, baby doll, you deserve more. And a tired
husband saying don't give.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Me whatever was given to your woman while you was
out here watching Tiger Woods. Okay, don't give me well
s ot here she gave you to do giving me
the verbata when he said he's here.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
He just watched it. Tiger right now.
Speaker 1 (02:58):
Yeah, pretty tiger lion bear, doesn't matter how to be
watching you.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
I'm just saying hello, has been I think I come coming.
It's all good. So now we've got a good, good weekend.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Man, a lot of daddy time, which is said you
mentioned work a lot, so it's always good there.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Spend more time with the girl.
Speaker 4 (03:17):
Yes, if you can. All right, let's welcome to the
Odd Couple crew. We wouldn't be able to do this
farm radio program without him. Rob G is our producer,
Steve the Sega is Elijah who is our social media guru.
And on the ones and Tues. All right, it's a
(03:44):
trash talking Tuesday's wal today. Don't forget coming up an
hour number to your chance to trash anyone anything in
the world of sports. We will not and ot interrupt you.
You'll be able to say rip Kelvin if you want
rip me, rip rob G, whoever ripped the local team
Lebron or whatever. Anybody, well not you Mary Mack, but
(04:05):
just about anybody else you can rip them for about
thirty or forty seconds. So that's all about trash talking Tuesday.
But let's first start with the game last night. The
Thunder pull it out two point win. Only thing that
was great was that I took the Timberwolves plus two
and a half right on really good. I mean, Las Vegas, Hello,
(04:27):
is this on? Like two and a half. That's what
I got two and a half and they lose by two.
So they covered that, which most people wouldn't have thought
they would have been able to do that, but they did.
The Thunder one game away from getting them making it
to the championship.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Yeah, I got them getting there and winning it all.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
I just it's gonna be hopefully a good serious whoever
they play out of coming out the East, Pacers, Knicks,
whatever it may be.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Well, nobody'll be watching it, but you and a couple
other people. If it's the Knicks, you'll be in No.
I'm talking about if it ain't.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Now listen, Pacer Thunder, I told you that the NBA
is crying somewhere right now if it's Pacers, and it'll
probably be some of the most well run basketball teams.
You'll have great offense, great defense, camaraderie. No you can score,
No you can score.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
No you score. I've already scored. I don't want to
do this. You score.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
But for viewership, I admit they want at least give me,
give me something with it, and give me the Knicks,
because it's just the Knicks. It's New York Is. They
haven't been there in fifty years. I haven't won it
in fifty years, and there's something to that. But Pacers
Thunder yet that would I admit it's gonna be me
and all the basketball officionanos watching, which actually leads me
to Rob watching that game.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
You know, throughout this season we've.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Been watching how good and Rob g gave us a
bunch of numbers. The point differential at an all time
high for the Thunder. We're talking about one of the
best defenses in modern era. This team has just been great,
the way they they blow everybody out. They have a
literal MVP and the current MVP and SGA. They got
Defensive Player of the Year caliber players on this team.
(06:01):
And the good thing for them too, Rop I'm starting
to look at man, they kind of embody to me
what we're starting to see become more.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
So how you win in the modern NBA.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
You know, had you go through eras right, and then
we had the Big Three or at least trying to
have a Big three era.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
And now to me, I looked at years ago.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
I was looking at Boston as one of those examples like, Okay,
you get a guy, you get another guy, you start
to draft around. Then obviously you can you can make
a play here there, make a trade here there, sign
a free agent, but you start and have your core.
The Warriors really started this too when you drafted Steph,
you drafted Clay, you drafted Harrison Barns, you drafted Draymond,
(06:41):
and you had such a great nucleus that could grow
together pumps and bruises and start to find something.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
And be young.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
And then obviously you can be on your way to
at least competing year in year out and having that
team that you can depend on. And I think the
thunder are setting themselves up rob to be in a
really good place when you look at first and foremost
having the first guy, right, you gotta have the guy,
and they have Sga, who is doing stuff at historic
rates right now. Him and Allen Iverson and Michael Jordan
(07:09):
being the only guys to score to have ten plus
games of thirty points in the playoff run already, and
he look at him, he's twenty six years old. You
got your other young guys in Check and Jalen twenty
four and twenty three years old. And then you've got
a bunch of ancillary guys who you are very young.
We know the average age of this is like twenty
four and like eight months this whole team, and you
(07:31):
got ancillary guys you can continue to build around or
are nice pieces. If you say I got Check, Jalen
and SGA, this is where we're going. We're not moving here.
They've got great pieces they can piece together and trade
also draft picks to bundle up and go get another veteran,
Go get another shooter, Go get another defender if they need.
They all play defense as well, starting with SGA. So
(07:52):
assess the tone of our best player competes. Our best
player is unselfish. Our best player is for the team,
and he plays defense. And he's on a real relatively
friendly deal considering how great he is. Next year he's
only gonna be making thirty eight million. The year after that,
only forty million, which we know how much that really
isn't for an MVP guy for the next couple of years.
(08:14):
So I think they've put themselves in position to really
kind of be the team specifically in the West, but
one of the teams to say, hey, you gotta deal
with us for the next let's call it three to
six years where if they win this year, they can
be compete again next year they have a good run
where maybe they go to three finals in five six years.
They can be that team and kind of be the
(08:34):
model of how they did it right. And credit Sam
Presty because he's had a variation of in iterations of
this Oklahoma City thunder from the KD Westbrook and James
Harden model to the Okay, everybody's gone, but be as
long as we have Westbrook, he'll be our guy, a
franchise guy, to the Okay he needs help, go get
Paul George and Chris Paul and all of that. To now,
I think they got their young core that they can
(08:55):
say is like a Boston is like an older that
old KDI Stephan Clay Warriors team and uh and start
to build around and I think that's starting to become
what we're seeing in the NBA is you get your
two three guys out the draft, build around it, and
hope you got something for the next five six years.
Houston Detroit being examples of teams that are coming up
like that.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
Yeah, I disagree. I think this is a one off
for the OKAC Thunder, and I do, I really do,
because of their history, because of the history, the history
of the league on where we're going, where there's all
these different teams. We would have said that about the Celtics.
One injury changed the whole trajectory of the Celtics, correct.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Yeah, but I'm there right, No, But I'm.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Just saying, but it changed that even coming back from injury,
you don't look at them as a favorite, like, oh,
they're gonna win for sure. When Giannis won, Oh they're
all set up. They got Middleton, they got this, they
got these people. Okay, so then they didn't win. I
don't know about that, Okay, No, But I thought after
Giannis won one, you figured that they have another run
in them or another chance. Denver won to one. Oh, okay,
(09:56):
but they didn't hold their pieces together.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
But those teams remind me rob of the Laker team
where okay, we got the guys, but then we got
rid of everybody.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
No, but I'm but.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
I'm trying to say, is that things can change. I
don't think that's where we are in the NBA. I
think that their teams can flip real quickly, like Denver
where they are, and now they go out and decide
to spend money and get a star player or make
you know what I mean, make a deal that would
change where Denver is.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
You got another year of Lebron and Luca.
Speaker 4 (10:26):
Are they gonna finally put something to do?
Speaker 2 (10:28):
Don't I don't.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
I don't, But I'm just saying, can they go and
put something together? The Warriors they roll the dice with
Jimmy Butler. If they're gonna keep going to the second
apron and paying all of this money they keep paying,
are they going to do it one more time?
Speaker 6 (10:43):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Stephan is still playing.
Speaker 4 (10:45):
I'm just saying it's not a clear path or the
idea that because okay, she still hasn't even won anything
yet before we crown them and say that they're going
to be running for the next four or five years.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Because on paper, I hear what you're saying.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
By the youth what happens if they lose, What happens
if SGA gets an injury or one of these other pieces.
Chet Holmgreen we already know he's been hurt in his career,
or something else happens, And I'm not wishing it on anybody.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I just think it's hard.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
First, they got to win the first one before I'm
even going to buy into the idea that they're set up.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
And here's the other one.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
When OKC with Duran and Harden and Westbrook, they went
to a championship, never got back again and then the
team got dismantled or whatever it was. So it looked
very promising at that time. They were pops at that time,
and Lebron and them beat them because they won game one,
oka see. And then if you remember, they lost Game
(11:40):
two at the end or the file that should have
been called against Lebron or to put them too up,
and they lost that game and never won another game.
So those things are there, So I hear your point
on looking at it, but I'm not so sure that
that's a guarantee.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Plus, we don't see teams repeating in the NBA.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
And that's the part, and that's why think where this
team has a chance to be back to like I
brought the Warriors four or five six champions, but the Warriors.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
Didn't they got they choked down that they had the
seventy three wins or choked down the three to one lead,
and then if they didn't get Kevin Durant, I don't
believe they would have won those.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
And that's a couple and that I really don't a
couple points. I want it real quick. So when you
talk about them having that's you just mean about the Warriors.
That's the good thing about to me, them having these
pieces so that they have really good pieces around this team,
young pieces that are that other teams may covet that
they can say, as long as we keep him him him,
we're good and we can make some moves to even
(12:40):
get better. Maybe we need a veteran player. Let's go
get a veteran player. I think they're built for that.
And another difference with that OLKC team, uh OKC team
with KD. West and Harden, I think all of those guys,
as we would eventually see, are all time Hall of
Fame greats, MVP guys. I don't think Jaylen Williams or
Chet are that. I think they're the perfect pieces to
(13:02):
be a part of a team, to know exactly their role.
Harden new I'm an alpha. I'm a top seven to
five player at the time. The minute I get my
own team, Westburg knew if I have my own team,
I'd be MVP. KD knew if I had my own team,
I'd be MVP. This team ain't that, and I think
that's what work in their favor, that they buy in.
That's why they've got this whole university style. I can't
(13:22):
even interview SGA without the whole team being there. Everybody's
got to be in the shot. Whereas Katie, Russ and
Hard and I always felt like they were like, boy,
if I had my own team, I'll be getting busy,
and they all did and they were all right, but
it kind of costs that none of them could win
until obviously KD would go on to be the Warriors.
So this team's a little different to me. I think
Jalen knows he's not alpha guy like that.
Speaker 2 (13:43):
Yeah, but you.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
Don't know that because at some point somebody's telling you, dude,
you could be doing even more of this. Why you
being a batman when you can go somewhere. I'm just saying,
and then that's where the equal comes. I friends get
in your ear like you always say, this is why
Diana Ross and the Supremes broke up, or why you
go on or broke up the Beatles.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
I'm just saying, like like you, you would look and
go you're the Beatles. Where are you going?
Speaker 6 (14:09):
Why?
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Why would you want to go on to? Why you
don't want to give me, desty child? And not just
saying you give me something.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
I'm just saying, I'm going with the iconic breakups. I'm sorry,
Destiny child.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
You don't do shout like that. Beyonce is not iconic, No,
not not with SEP. When people get a little fresh
haircut and lose a little weight, they start acting different.
Not are you acting living in two different Americas?
Speaker 4 (14:31):
No, but I'm talking about that your go on on
the Beatles. That's about half our listeners.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Diana who said something about they think you're playing me
and you playing at the Memorial Day barbecue? Yo, go on, yeah,
they don't know you over here right now, boy, I
tell you wait till we come back to Garry. Read
this so I can come back to you about you
get a little haircut, lose a little wait, start acting
different out here and you.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Get the beer.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Right, No, we go see hey, Rob G noticed it
right away, rob G, My skin is baby soft, right, Okay,
all right here we go, all right? The okay ac
thunder set up to win now for the foreseeable free future.

Speaker 1 (15:07):

because you undersold.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
You literally just called them. You called us fat and
get caught. You told us to get fatter. You said

That's so rude. This is how I would do it.

Speaker 8 (19:55):
So Rob was like, man, you're gonna get that. I
wonder how I could get it. I'm like, you know,
you just pay the cash. Bright, Oh, it's not too bad.
I can do that.
Speaker 2 (20:02):

it feels like like every day.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
And I don't even have to get home. I don't
even have to seven thirty. I'm done.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Out here in the streets, you know.
Speaker 8 (21:22):
When Rob put that tweet, I was like, he's calling
me fan. And then I was like, man, I've been to
McDonalds twice already today, so maybe I am fat crazy.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
But you got this mixed salad. I don't even know
what they call it. The mix they call everything else.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
We don't even have salads anymore.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
That they gave up all right, e from Salam.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
Maybe he'll be on our team in this Robb Gi.
Speaker 1 (21:40):

Steve the Sega, what's trending?

Alright, couple Robin Kelvin on the trash Talking Tuesday. That's
gonna be coming up in the bun hour and fifteen
minutes or so. Look forward to hear what you guys
have coming up on that right now from Salamar guests
per usual brother E former NFL offensive line in Fox
Sports Radio Weekend hosts, and uh, he is gonna be
reclaiming his time.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Let's make sure we give him all his time.
Speaker 6 (22:16):
What's up, brother?
Speaker 2 (22:17):
What's good man doing well? Brother?
Speaker 1 (22:20):
Hey, real quick, you played man in all those years
in NFL. You know what it's like. Team Coarateer. You
gotta pick people up just because you bawling. You don't
want to necessarily make them feel bad. Right, Rob Parker
out here just because he feeling sexy and cute with
his haircut and losing weight. He called me and Rob
g out online caught us fat.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
That ain't no team.
Speaker 6 (22:38):
I didn't get team. That's not a team. You don't
want to do.
Speaker 5 (22:42):
No.
Speaker 4 (22:42):
We had a we had a weight challenge, and he
from they just gave up.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
I know they ain't.
Speaker 6 (22:47):
They got kids. Well in that case, that's a different
than and y'all right.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
Thank you, That's what I'm saying from we had a
weight challenge. So Rob G says, he's even right. This
was from the Super Bowl. I'd been worried ninth or
something like that, and k Double saying down three down, man,
my life from I'm twenty five down.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
So they got even.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
There you go, I'm twenty five down and you could
see it. I ain't fudging it for you, man.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
See now he looked good. I can't front see. I'm
gonna keep it the BT for you. And he trimmed
the beer. So he dropped off about eight years.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
Going number one. Man, I got old. Man. Beard is gone.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
Mary Magno, we're still trying to find her name out whatever,
because that man all of a sudden trind the beard
and he ain't eating red meat no more.
Speaker 6 (23:36):
Ephro somebody.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
All I know is he went away for a weekend.
Ain't been right.
Speaker 6 (23:41):
Since till you what it was some Instagram models.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
Man, he ain't been right since. Ephil.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
She got to sign the paper first. That's where a
lot of other people went wrong. We were talking real
quick earlier, I said that I think Oklahoma City is
Thunder are set up to be kind of a great position,
kind of maybe the leader of the of the teams
in the NBA where for the next you know, four
or five years, they can compete for titles. Maybe they
(24:08):
go to two out of four or something like that.
Because a they're star player locked in, you got them,
and he's on a team friendly deal. It's like thirty
eight million next year, forty after that. You know, that's
nothing for an MVP. And you got the other two
young stars check in Jalen not making a lot of money,
and they're all young as heck, and I feel like
they could be what the Warriors were earlier.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yeah, but we said also the.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Celtics a little bit, where you're going to the finals,
you lose one, you win one, but you're always kind
of in the mix.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
Well, I'll say that they'll be in the mix because
they're well constructed. But with the current the new CBA
and the and the aprons that they have, the free
agent aprons that they have now, it'll be very difficult
for teams like that to stay together, right like we
see it with Boston right now, they got two three
(24:56):
hundred plus million dollars.
Speaker 2 (24:58):
And look how much they're over the A. They can't do.
Speaker 6 (25:00):
Anything afford anybody else. They can't bring Hordford back. They're
gonna lose a holiday Like, they're going to have to
break that up because they're not going to be able
to keep that. Once you pay two players over three
hundred million dollars, it's a wrap. You're good. So who's
gonna get it? Is it gonna be Jayden Williams is
gonna be ched Holgrim? Like who's going to be the
(25:23):
next Max guy? There? And whichever one you pick, the
other one's leaving so and and you don't have the
maneuverability to put those ancillary pieces around because if they
do go on to win the championship, then their market
for those players are going to be huge. We look,
we saw what happened with Denver, right, Denver went. They
(25:46):
even at the at the parade, he was like, Bruce
Brown isn't going anywhere?
Speaker 2 (25:49):
Yeah no, no is gone?
Speaker 6 (25:54):
Right and that things like that affect the team. It
affects the chemistry, all of the special things that you
guys had going together. Once those pieces start getting mortgaged off,
then it's difficult to have a run like that. Look
at the Celtics this year.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
No, I get it, Yeah, I'm with you. I just
think it's really hard.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
It looks on paper and you say, oh, yeah, it
gonna And then again he from the NBA this year
will have what seven different champions, Like, ain'tybody running those
strings together?
Speaker 6 (26:26):
Were not doing the super tear, They're not doing the
dynasties anymore. You can't afford it. You can't afford it,
like it has to be something like this, like if
Sanant who has the first pick, Sen who has the
first pick?
Speaker 2 (26:39):
No, Dallas, So.
Speaker 6 (26:43):
Right now Cooper Flagg has to come in the Dallas
Mavericks have to win the championship right now, like next year,
and then you get Cooper Flag on that rookie deal
for another year. You keep a d because he's still
under contract. Uh tyree. But that's the only time that
rookie has to come in and be like a guy
(27:04):
right now, and it's very difficult to do in the NBA.
Speaker 4 (27:08):
He from today Aaron Rodgers or I guess with Saturday
in a Q and A, he dropped the hint that
you know, they asked him what he played for the
Chicago Bears or something. Even consider he said no before
implying that he would visit the team as an opposing
player in twenty twenty five, and of course the Steelers
play the Bears in week twelve. My point though, is
(27:31):
Aaron Rodgers apparently told the Steelers I don't want to
you know, sign and then not be able to go
to OTA's or whatever. And everybody's now saying that whatever
that day is June coming up when they start mini camp.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
He'll be there for the Steelers.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
Can you respect that he didn't want to, like, not
sign before and then have to not show up at
stuff to start off as a distraction. And I think
that was his plan, and that's why the Steelers did not,
you know, make a stink or panic over why he
hadn't signed yet.
Speaker 6 (28:04):
Well, I already don't like it, So one thing I
do know, especially at the quarterback position, if you're not
all in, then you're all out. We saw it. We
saw it coming down the pipe. We saw what happened
with Tom Brady his second year in Tampa.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
And when he didn't come yet. Well I was during
the season I camp.
Speaker 6 (28:24):
We saw it with Aaron Rodgers when he was in Egypt,
and like, if you're not all in, and those guys
have played at a Hall of Fame level, they know
what it takes to prepare. And so once you start
going against the own playbook that you've put together to
play at a high level, then you know it's not
gonna work. Once you start curtain around the dedication and
(28:50):
the time that you put into it to be at
that top level. Once you start doing that, then there's
no way to recapture the glory that you did. And
so I look, I refused to get caught up into
the Aaron Rodgers saga about what he's talking about, what
he until he signs with the team. He's like me,
(29:13):
he just doing he in the world, doing whatever he
want to do, and he's not a part of the NFL.
That's just that's that's how I That's where I stand
on Aaron Rodgers. I don't have the time for that man.
De code what his messaging is.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
No, but I'm not the whole thing. I'm just saying.
If the idea is why jump to sign your free
agent if you know you can't make those other things,
is what I'm just saying.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
I think that. Yeh, that does make sense to me.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
And why why can't you make those No.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
Because he just was going through stuff. Somebody died in
his family.
Speaker 4 (29:46):
There's been some issues going on in his life, and
he told them up front, I'm just not ready to
do that and I won't be able to do it,
so I'd rather wait. And if you want to wait
for me, fine, but if you don't, I understand that too.
That's what it was related.
Speaker 6 (30:01):
That's a bad relationship to go into. That's a bad
I'm going through a breakup right now. I've got some
things going on. You hang on. Once I get over it,
I'm gonna come and we can be together. Who's signing
up for that?
Speaker 4 (30:15):
A team that hasn't won a playoff game in nine
years and a team that has had a quarterback in fifteen.
Speaker 6 (30:20):
Years, Well still would still wouldn't have that because we
just saw what he did for you know at the Jets.
I mean it's not the old end runs and even
the last year at Green Bay. I don't want to
just limit it to one year and it hurt an
injured year at the Jets, his last year at Green
Bay with all the people he liked, the coaches and
the players. It was nothing. So yeah, I'm not going
(30:45):
to wait for someone to get into a dysfunctional relationship
with I'm not doing it.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
From it.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
Yeah, I'm glad you've been saying the same thing I've
been saying. I'm so mad at the Steelers right now.
It don't make any sense. And now they talking about
Kirk Cousins. Your Kirk, your cousin, not my cousin. That's
what I call him. All right, ephram Man, We're up
against it. Appreciate you as always, brother, absolutely, brother, all
right e from Salim there, from Slim on X. Make
sure you give a follow on the way. We got
Shekel City. We got play other day as well. Plus
(31:12):
we'll talk a little bit more of the game tonight.
We're getting that in just a bit. It's The Hot
Couple Robin Kelvin on a Trash Talking Tuesday, Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (31:20):
Be sure to catch live editions of The Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
The Hot Couple, Rob Parker Kelvin Washington on a trash
Talking Tuesday, about an hour or so for you guys
hop in on that. Here what you guys have to say.
I'm sure you got some trash built up you want
to let off your chests. Want to hear what you
got to say? And right now it's sign for Shekel
City beating the As today.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
How'd you do? Why two and one last night?
Speaker 4 (31:59):
I'm now thirty eight for the year, over five hundred
and I plan to keep that going tonight. I got
the Pacers minus two and a half. They'll beat the
Knicks at home by more than two and a half,
at least three. I'm sure Cardinals minus one and a half.
They're in Baltimore taking on the Oils. I believe the
(32:20):
last goo I heard was three nothing uh Cardinals. And
of course these were all posted earlier on social media.
If you follow us on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio, it is Shecko City and I have the
San Francisco Giants minus one and a half, but they're
losing right now.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
With the three or three nothing right now? Wee nothing
in Detroit. Giants need to win.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
So that's why I got the h You do that
against the best team in baseball, I.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
Do it all the time.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
They lost three out of four to the to the
Cleveland Guardians just before this series, so they have been
stumbling a little bit. But anyway, Giants minus one and
a half runs, Cardinals minus one and a half runs,
and I'm taking the Pacers minus two and a half
against the New York Knickerbockers. And remember, I'm not telling
you who to bet on. I'm telling you who I
(33:09):
bet on.
Speaker 9 (33:09):
And real quick, yeah, we do have time for the
Caitlin Clark oh boy, w NBA TV waitings updates since
her injury.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
I can't believe you kick somebody when they're down right
now in the league, when they're down.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
I'm just saying, first of all, everybodys saying that how
much everybody that loves the women's basketball.
Speaker 1 (33:34):
Now, let's see, by the way, let's see you say
you're gonna update that every hour, even did it twice
this hour?
Speaker 2 (33:38):
Okay, I want to make sure. You just wanted to
make sure. Okay, nice eager, yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Eager beaver right whatever, man, all right, it's time now
for your tire rack.
Speaker 2 (33:48):
Play of the day. They swung out in hammer deep
to right field. It is done. A home run for.
Speaker 10 (33:55):
Attorney well before you even had a chance to buckle
your seat. Peltal Johnny makes it one nothing with this
major league leading nineteenth home run the very first pitch.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Of the game. So you're telling me he's good at baseball.
Speaker 6 (34:10):
All right?
Speaker 1 (34:10):
There you have it, five seventy on the twenty home
runs and thirty three. RBI's right, is that it is?
I don't know exactly got like thirty four. R's unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Look it up, Rob g don't be right on his
parade right now. He's league leading home runs. That's what
you want to bring him back in two thirty five
with runners.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Listen, Hey, what nobody asked you he was playing of
the day. That's that of the day, play of the day.
As I continue to say that yesterday though, yeah, and
then he got a home run today as well. Okay,
what you got to say about that? Dang it got two.
RBI's already not evenna go there with you, RBI, and
not evenna argue with you on that right now? Uh So,
(34:49):
Shohil Tani there and the Dodgers are up four to
three on the Guardians right now into the fifth. All right,
I'm not dealing with you today, man, all right, So
conversation about apparently you have something to say. I wasn't
here yesterday and enjoying some time with my daughters and
then famine friends and all that good stuff about Halliburton,
(35:13):
Papa Halliburton being let back in. I told you last week,
let the man back. It was indefinite. It was a ridiculous.
Why even suspend them at all? I mean again, this
is the society we live in. There are no penalties.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
People keep getting pardoned every day committing crimes, and people
are getting partnered. No, I'm just saying, in general January sixth,
by in general, committing crimes. Let me see, let me
defraud the government and I'll pardon you. Okay, that's nice.
Let me run out onto the court and maybe cause
(35:47):
an incident where players are swinging on people people could
have got hurt.
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Let me do that and tell you you're gonna be punished.
Speaker 4 (35:54):
And then as soon as you can, you run them
right back out there. And then they think they're doing
something by putting them in the sweet all it means
he has to take the elevator down all the way
down to the floor to get back out there.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Baby, that's all they're doing. Is delaying it. Three minutes
from the nest.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
All they need three minutes for everybody to get back
into tone on them, all right, a joke to stop it, definite.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
That's the point he learned his left. He's just like
when your parents were stipping.
Speaker 1 (36:19):
Your parents will put you on punishment and they say
you're punished for three weeks, and then you did.
Speaker 4 (36:23):
The right Now, I got three weeks and then you
did the right thing. And you know, they said, the household.
That's why I'm disciplined. That's why we.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
Like what you're doing right now. You know what you're
working hard. Go ahead, go to that big game. We're
going ahead take that girl out on that date. That's
what it was, man. And I keep telling y'all sports
is entertainment. We keep forgetting. And the way Tyreese Halliburn's
been playing, the way the pacer has been playing, They're like,
if we can get a dad in son moment, you
know they're gonna milk that papa and Tyree's having a moment.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
All I'm gonna do is when when a fan does
that and there's some micheal issue, they're going to say, okay,
because the two Yankee fans that tried to knock the
ball out of Mookie Bets's glove. You remember that they
were in the stands. They weren't on the field. They
were in the stands. Mookie was reaching over and they
were right at the railing. It was right, and they tried.
(37:13):
They did extra. They put mustard on the glove.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
You don't get to the faster. But my point, trying
to break that man's wrist, no they did not.
Speaker 4 (37:20):
At my point, if you're comparing, my point is like
they got banned forever.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
Oh you can't come to Yankee. They was season ticket holders.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
Okay, okay, all right now now now, now they're gonna
look at this and go, wait a minute.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
The president was said like I could run on the field,
on the court, and and you know what all it
takes is a couple missed a couple of games and
I should be back in.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Let me in the suite. Why is he acting like?
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Why is he acting like Tyrese Holliburn's pop was Draymond
Green and Giannis was Rudy Gobert.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
He wasn't He wasn't trying to choke him out. Those
dudes were literally.
Speaker 1 (37:56):
Trying to break try bets wrists the dude was biting
is the trying to rip the man's hand off. I
can't believe you would say that right now. That's two
shots at the Dodgers in less than an hour. You
want Mookie's wrists broken and show, Hey, you don't want
that's all we heard.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Rob and Judge are carrying. You need to have to
do a lot of work in the next couple of.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
N No way I want those guys because Judge is
don't mean you gotta dispect o tani. Why can't be both? See,
that's what all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (38:30):
Is got thirty four on twenty home runs. I think
that's ridiculous.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
And then you mentioned this bad average Let that man
live and be great. I like the Knicks.
