UNC personnel, this is from TMZ, is worried that Jordan

This is what you want, you want the parents that

being told what not to do, and this is also
what happens. So this is why this is out there.
So the iron that Bill Belichick will be getting run

to be leading the school, right these young men telling
them how to run their lives. How to be good
of the sens and all that. And yet this is
this type of stuff he does distractions. When he was

top two quarterbacks. I thought if two quarterbacks would have
gone in the first round, he would have been one
of them. I definitely had him over Dark or kid

from Louisville, or Dylan Gabriel or like anybody outside of
cam Ward being drafted ahead of him was shocking to me.
And to see him get drafted in the fifth round,
I mean I was I was blown away by that.
But I will say this, The expectation isn't there. The

only thing this young man has to worry about is
coming into training camp and taking that starting job, which
the table has been set for him to be able
to do that, and it is my estimation that should
do or standards finishes the season uh in Cleveland as
a starting quarterback.

This, but that that could mean that the Browns are
bad and they want to take a look at him
because out of the fifth round.

the draft process. No one cares about any of that.
And I'm speaking from a player who was drafted in
the seventh round. When I got the training camp, I
was fourth on the depth chart at left tackle, and
the end of that six weeks, I was the starting
right tackle for a team that went to the Super Bowl.

So all of that pre draft evaluating and what they
should have done and could have done is out the windows.

But the only issue I have with that is people
lost their If just what you said, if it doesn't matter,
why were people Why was mel Kiper's panties in a
bunch and all these people, all these people were so hurt.
You just said it doesn't matter. Tom Brady was. Tom

in my draft. Charles Woodson was in my draft. He's
made Peyton Manning stand up and said, the NFL doesn't
need you to play football. That's the realization. No matter

how much hype you have, the league doesn't need you.
You need the league. So all you can control is
how you go out there and play. And as long
as players keep that in mind when they're doing interviews
and working out and training, then they'll be better off.

coach and to change the program or to be an
example of how you should date and when you should date.

I'm talking about just the idea he's a role model
they should put the kids are supposed to look up to.

Him, so what is he doing wrong? In reality? Now,
you may not agree with the age gap, which is
what fifty years or whatever whatever that is. Whatever the
age gap is, you may not agree, but is he
doing anything wrong? It may be in poor taste for you,
but is he doing anything and anything wrong?
Speaker 1 (27:27):
I think so on a college campus, that's all I
e from. If you're working at seven to eleven and you
want to have a fifty year old younger girlfriend, that's fine.
When you're in the public eye, he's out. I think
it's embarrassing to the university. I think that's just my
opinion from I think I totally I lean towards Robert.
Speaker 5 (27:46):
Also get the fact that he's a girl man, extraordinarily
girl man, do what he wants. The issue I have
with it also, if you've seen the video, if you've
seen kind of what the reports are out there, she's
been running things around him, and that I think is
also troubling. There's reports that she might be in team rooms,
and so to me, that also is kind of crazy
when this is the guy I hired who normally ran
to show a certain type of way for you. So

I'm not getting the Bill Belichick. I thought I was
getting who ran things the way he ran it up
with New England. Now he's not even answering questions. He
got somebody running his interviews.
Speaker 8 (28:17):
Well, he never really liked to answer questions anyway. I mean,
he has the history of being salty or his own
way in interviews. But I'll tell you this, this will
be better talked about and debated at the end of
his first season at North Carolina. If he doesn't bring

an immediate impact similar to how Dion took over Colorado
and changed the culture there, then we can start having
these conversations about, oh, I don't know what he's doing. Man,
he's lost the step and this young lady seems to
be interfering all of that. But until then, we just
got to look and see what the product is because
if they come out and they win nineteen games, no

one will here.

Why, it wasn't even that in the club. He started
off in the pros doing something that completely lost the
locker room. And that's he went and got somebody who
had been on the shelf for eight years and brought
him in the training camp, competing for a position he
never played in his life. Like, when you start making

decisions like that, football decisions like that, then you lose
the confidence of those in that locker room because that
sounded and seemed so ridiculous to those and the guys
who were really fighting for for a job, that you
would do something like that. That's where that's where the
beginning of his downfall was right.

But until that video came out with the chick on his.
Speaker 8 (29:49):
Lap, he was already on the hot seat. He was
on his way out.
Speaker 1 (29:52):
Well, let me, let's get here, Chador Sanders, Uh, I
forgot where you were. Were you high on Shador house shock?
Were you that he went the fifth round as you
were watching the draft?
Speaker 8 (30:03):
Well, I wasn't that low on him to where he
was a fifth round. Whether I had him, I mean
I had round. I had him as one of the
top two quarterbacks. I thought if two quarterbacks would have
gone in the first round, he would have been one
of them. I definitely had him over Dark or kid
(30:25):
from Louisville, or Dylan Gabriel or like anybody outside of
cam Ward being drafted ahead of him was shocking to me.
And to see him get drafted in the fifth round,
I mean I was I was blown away by that.
But I will say this, The expectation isn't there. The
(30:45):
only thing this young man has to worry about is
coming into training camp and taking that starting job, which
the table has been set for him to be able
to do that, and it is my estimation that should
do or standards finishes the season uh in Cleveland as
a starting quarterback.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
Well, let me ask you.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
This, but that that could mean that the Browns are
bad and they want to take a look at him
because out of the fifth round.
Speaker 8 (31:12):
The spy quarterback they got four, but they don't want
Joe Flacco to be the starting quarterback.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
But my point is, if they really believe that he's
going to be the starting quarterback, he had they had
four other opportunities to take him. I mean seriously, Ephraim, like, okay,
you win in you got him in the fifth round,
but they had two picks in the top of the
second round that they easily could have picked him if
they thought he was going to compete for the Just
just doesn't make sense though to me, is what I

get you a large evaluation of him he from But.
Speaker 8 (31:45):
I understand that, Rob, but you got to understand after
the draft process. No one cares about any of that.
And I'm speaking from a player who was drafted in
the seventh round. When I got the training camp, I
was fourth on the depth chart at left tackle, and
the end of that six weeks, I was the starting
right tackle for a team that went to the Super Bowl.

So all of that pre draft evaluating and what they
should have done and could have done is out the windows.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
But the only issue I have with that is people
lost their If just what you said, if it doesn't matter,
why were people Why was mel Kiper's panties in a
bunch and all these people, all these people were so hurt.
You just said it doesn't matter. Tom Brady was. Tom
Brady was in the sixth round for.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
I don't understand now for.
Speaker 8 (32:34):
Him should do it right now. It doesn't matter what
I think, you think, or any of anybody else. The
only thing that matters is if he goes to training
camp and proves to everyone why he should have been
picked that first day. That's what I did, and that's
what so many other late round draft picks do. The
real quick remember that the league is built on late

brown draft picks. He real queriod.

Do you think there was a message being sent because
you said he was the second best quarterback, shouldn't have
gone later than late first round, early second. So many
other people said that that, okay, maybe he's not a
first round town but second, and then he goes a fifth.
You think there was something else? Was it that Dion
overstep is boundaries talking about we ain't gonna play for
this team?

What real quick? Your reason why we got there?

I'll tell you this. When I was a rookie, Chris Carter,
I went to the symposium. Chris Carter told me, I
told the whole team, everybody in the rookie symposium that
the NFL doesn't need you to play. Peyton Manning was
in my draft. Charles Woodson was in my draft. He's
made Peyton Manning stand up and said, the NFL doesn't
need you to play football. That's the realization. No matter
(33:43):
how much hype you have, the league doesn't need you.
You need the league. So all you can control is
how you go out there and play. And as long
as players keep that in mind when they're doing interviews
and working out and training, then they'll be better off.
