Speaker 2 (05:05):
So a busy, busy day.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
With Game three of the World Series about to start
in about an hour here in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium, I.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
Was looking to see if the MLB.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
We got MLB live on right now talking about great
World Series performances.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
I thought you were on here. I was looking for
you to see if you have something to say. Yeah,
I would have something to say, but you probably wouldn't
like it. Yours is number four. Reggie Jackson was number four.
How's that? Number four? Albert Pools is ahead of Reggie Jackson.
He was number four.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Don Lawson he pitched a perfect game in the World
Series and that's number two.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
So what the heck is number one? Did they show show?
Speaker 6 (05:43):
No?
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Because that wasn't the World Series. Oh, this is just
the greatest World Series.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Okay, uh, Bob Gibson, Bob Gibson, I know, I know,
sorry about.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
It, I know it was all right.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Let's do that, Rob g tonight, can you explain to
the people what's happening?
Speaker 9 (06:01):
Yeah, in about an hour from now, first pitch Game
three of the World Series on far excited listen to
you very pumped up about it.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
The synergy is incredible here Fox Sports.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
No, I wanted to don't ever use that word against me.
Omeo again, he's talking to me. We gotta do make
sure you know the synergy. What did you just say
to Meery?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Everybody here is Dodger fans. I mean, my goodness, gracious, well,
he was talking about just the World Series. Yeah, I
was talking about the World Series. Crime. Come on, you.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Look at the Dodgers.
Speaker 9 (06:27):
He was just ready to hate to know that Game
three on the heels of Yoshi Nobu Yamamoto having another
complete game in the postseason.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Can I say this, Yes, he's the greatest Asian player
on the Dodgers right now.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
That's that's not a hot take.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
Listen, if you're saying heavy on the right now, right now,
right now, he puts two come back to back complete
games in the postseeds.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
Have you on the right now? All right? I get it.
He's been incredible.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Oh, Tani's betten two twenty five and he cleaned out
the dugout. Do you see that afterwards?
Speaker 2 (07:07):
I did see that.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
He literally like, oh he was cleaning.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
At the very end, he was like, the last person
is putting the trash away, and it was like, like, dude.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
So he's the Japanese Felix Hunger. He's like, basically you
the clean.
Speaker 9 (07:22):
So once again, a first pitch in about an hour,
big showdown, Tyler Glass now versus Mack Scherzer, Game three,
winner of a best of seven when the series tied
at one. Whoever wins games three goes on to win
the series sixty nine percent of the time. And if
the Dodger are gonna get it done and go back
to back, they gotta be Max Shersey. Max Scherzer in
(07:46):
his last twelve years against the Dodger. Now, he's been
in the league for a long time. Yes, one point
eight zero era af you guys own the boys in
Blue more than Max Shujer.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
So Rob will start with you.
Speaker 5 (07:59):
You gonna say boys blue, No, he got brown and
blue eye.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Don't do that. Don't do that.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
And Matt Max is, yeah, I got I got to
know Max in Detroit, you know where it pitched for
the Tigers.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Talked all the time.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
I'm not trying to like get some points or whatever,
but I'm serious, like like.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
I had I had a relationship with him.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
You know what I mean, like where we really had
these conversations. But I was gonna say, uh, the Dodgers
have to beat Max Shirser and and they just do
seriously because they beat they beat the Blue Jays beat
the Dodgers. Ace and Snell pitched Game one. They could
have pitched either guy. Yeah, Momoto has been better, but
(08:37):
he's been considered the ace starting Game one, so they
beat him. Yamamoto quiets the bats. Now his glass, Now
you know what I mean. And if you allow shirts
to get five or six innings without roughing them up,
guys over forty years old, like this is his last leg,
his last stand, so you you would assume. And the
Dodgers haven't been hitting. You know, we've been talking about this.
(09:00):
They got five runs the other night, and you say
five runs is good. But for the most part, a
lot of their wins have been two to one, three
to one, you know, or or three and then they
tackle on too late and they get five runs. It
really hasn't been any offensive explosion. So if you allow
Max Scherzer to come to Dodger Stadium in this big
Game three and beat you, the chances of winning go
(09:24):
way way down.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
I get your premise, but I disagree.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
I think what the Dodgers have shown us over the
last handful of seasons is that whatever I told you,
it's like the Tupac song. How do you want it?
They can win in a multitude of ways. Do you
want it to be starting pitching? Well, that's been this year,
the last couple of months. That's what's been carrying them
is the starting pitching with four guys that have been
incredible throughout the end of the season into the postseason.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Do you want timely hitting?
Speaker 1 (09:49):
Now?
Speaker 5 (09:50):
I agree, the bats come on. Bats.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
They need to come alive. They've been averaging like three
point six runs a game and the Blue Jays.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
With six point five coming into the World Series, they
get what eleven was eleven to four in Game one
and then they only got one.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
So if you even look at that, that's twelve and two.
That's six.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah, so you're probably around there were average, which is
six and a half coming in there.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
And that, and so you have to keep that in mind.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
If you're the Dodgers offensively, you know they're gonna put
up some runs for the most part. Again, doesn't have
to be obviously eleven every game, But I think The
Dodgers have proven that they can win in a.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
Multitude of ways.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
They can be in these close games and then not
have been great offensively, but find a way to get
a Max Monty hit, a Will Smith hit, a Freddie
Freeman hit, a Mookie hit, or Tony finally comes alive.
Aside from a home run, just get to double. That
was crucial, Tommy Edmond. They have guys that can do
it in a and we wouldn't be just surprised if
Keith k Hernandez goes three for four and run brings
(10:44):
in four RBIs today. If you've watched Dodger baseball for
the last half a decade, you wouldn't be surprised. So
I just think the Dodgers have been able to do
it again. And then okay, they lose today, well, then
they come with tough Tani in game tomorrow, in Game four,
and then now the series two two and then it's
the best of three. So I think the Dodgers are
built for whatever the situation may be. And that's a
(11:04):
compliment of the way they created this team, uh and
just some of the adversity they've had to go through
over the last couple of years with a bunch of injuries.
That's why they always bring up a lot of depth,
so they have a bunch of guys who can be
in the rotation. What will be interesting to see is
what they do at the bottom of the lineup because
Piez has not been great at all at all.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
He's been leaving a lot of big guy guys on base,
so it'd be interesting to see what I think he
was hitless right with runners of scoring position.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
Yeah, so he's gonna be the interesting guy ninety Yeah, No,
that's not that's not that.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
That's not it at all.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
That sound like a Goodnight Remember that album came out
in ninety three. He's gonna be a guy watching to
see what Doc Rivers?
Speaker 2 (11:40):
You know, does there? Does he Doc Rivers? Yeah? Well
they they I know Doc Doc Rivers.
Speaker 4 (11:45):
Hold, I'm sorry, Doc Robberts is what I meant, right,
I know they call him Doc?
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (11:50):
Do they?
Speaker 2 (11:51):
You know how teams?
Speaker 5 (11:52):
It doesn't matter. He's gonna get hot. I finally he's
finally gonna get it. He's finally gonna get it. Do
you ride that or do you actually a bra?
Speaker 2 (11:57):
We're giving you enough chances. Come on out, and sometimes
you got to make change.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I've always you know, when people don't talk about managing
or whatever, I always give Joe Toy a lot of credit.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
I don't remember. I do know you were young.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
But the ninety six World Series, Okay, the Yankees get
blown out in the first two games at Yankee Stadium.
So they're down oh two, and their three best players
or three of their best players are struggling. They're not hitting. Uh,
Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill and Way Bob and Joe Toy
goes to Atlanta and he and he goes, well, down
(12:30):
oh two, I'm gonna change the lineup. He puts in
Charlie Hayes at third base. Way Bogs was, you know,
popular Hall of Fame player, right Way Bogs sits down
Tino Martinez for Cecil fielder and puts in dal Strawberry
for Paul O'Neill.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Like, those were major changes.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
Multiple two, three, three of your starters that got you
all the way till ninety six to the World Series.
And you know what happened, dude. They won the next
three games in Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
And that's what I want to see. If Dave Roberts
is gonna say, all right, I gave you. This is
the World Series. This isn't just all right early in
the wild card. This is the World Series. We gotta
win because if you're you know, obviously you want to
win three straight. Be done with this thing at home?
Getting that sounds nice. First time they will have won
a World Series at home since the sixties. They have,
they've won obviously World Series. They haven't won it at
(13:20):
home since the sixties, so they're obviously trying to do that.
But I just think the Dodgers have too many ways
to win to it'd be over if they lose a Max.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
See to me, Yeah, I just think this is if
you let Max Schures are off the hook, right, if
you're if you're the Blue Jays, and you get by
right and Max Schus who was left off the playoff froster,
you know what I mean, like and and he comes
in there, you look good right his last outing, And
that's my that's my point. If he can come in
and and get a win at Dodger Stadium in a
(13:49):
pivotal game, a.
Speaker 5 (13:50):
Forty year old better rough him up. Rogerie.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
I know you love our senior citizens, but sometimes the
seniors got to get roughed up, Yeah, move about this isle,
lady taking our day b big Come on, lady, move
when we gonna do age restrictions on the road, Okay?
Or at least got to come in and take a
test again. Oh I had better rough the senior citizen.
Speaker 4 (14:08):

if the Dodgers were the louse to Scherzer and the
blue Jay today in Game three, it's a rap where
(16:13):
I believe the Dodgers have been able to prove that
they can come back and find any way to win.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
And even if it were.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
A lost today, where are you at eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox?
Speaker 5 (16:21):
Who we got?
Speaker 4 (16:23):
All right, let's start with Andre in Massachusetts. You're in
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
What's up, Dre?
Speaker 10 (16:30):
How you doing? Thanks for taking the call.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
Listen.
Speaker 10 (16:32):
No, this is not a month's win for the Los
Angeles Dodgers, meaning their BET's not going to be up
against the wall if they lose this game to the
Toronto Bluees. I think it's going to be a much
more interesting series. I think people thought this was going
to be a gentleman's sweet, the Dodgers coming in defending
champions with their model bats on backs.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
They got punched in the mount in Game one, Dre.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
A lot of Dodger people here that had their panties
in a bunch because they were shocked.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
They are people paying no that was shocked.
Speaker 10 (17:02):
Yeah, And of course everybody has that plan until somebody
lands that first power punch, okay, and then it puts
you on your backs, and then you come you come
to your and I think that's where the Dodgers are right.
They got the wake up call in game one, meaning
Toronto came through and a lot of people didn't think
they were gonna be here based on where they were
in game seven, but they took that momentum from the
game seven, brought it into game one and started the
(17:23):
Dodgers in their mouth. I think that was the wake
up call. I think they do come put all, you know,
not all their eggs, but they do come through in
this game and do everything that they can to win it.
But even if they lose, I think people just think
this is going six or seven.
Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:37):
I just the only thing is I'm gonna say this
drey and and I said this one MLB network. If
sures A beat you and you've got you've beaten Snell,
Like in the back of your mind, even though it
was game one, you know you can.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
You know you can get to him. I just say,
you have an advantage. You really do.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
It's not like you got shut down in first those
first two games. You go, well, we can't hit Snow,
we can't hit Yamamoto. Yamamoto's the only guy. If you
hit glass Now today, right, you will feel really good.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
And they score a lot of runs.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
They had Yamamoto on the ropes first and third and
nobody out and then and he got out of it
with no runs and that and that, and that sent
him on his wife.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
That's the thing though, Like to me, this is this
is why I had obviously Dodgers would in six because
I respect the power, I respect the explosiveness of the
bats for the Blue Jays, meaning they can out the
blue as we saw in Game one, put up five
six runs in an inna what just happened. And so yeah,
they're very formidable. This is a good matchup for sure.
(18:40):
Anybody had it in Ford either way to me was crazy.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
Kevin in Culver City, you're on the odd couple of
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
What's up, keV?
Speaker 5 (18:49):
All the time?
Speaker 2 (18:50):
Only for the Jets, keV, Hey, hey, hey, for the Jets.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
Sometimes sometimes you're trying to take God be biased.
Speaker 6 (18:56):
Yes, hey, Ron, Rob, you know I keep it a
buck with you. When you're right, you're right, and you're
right here. The Dodgers got to put seven runs on
Max Shursey tonight. They got attack him. This is the
same man who gave him twenty oneths to the Kansas
City walls in September. They're gonna see a lot of
pitches inshide. They canna see a lot of fastballs. You
gotta go in on him and get a lot of
(19:16):
home once tonight. You got Bieber coming back from Tommy
John surgery. Tomorrow, Dodgers gotta go up three to one
with Blake Snail ready to close out the World Series
to gets your savage. They have to win tonight. And
you know good and well, Rob, you know baseball better
than anybody. In Game five, you know better than Anybody's
gonna be Blake Snail, Pasaki and Yamamoda coming out the
bullpen to close the World Series. Dave Roberts is not
(19:39):
messing around with this. Hold on Kevin, Kevin, take care
business tonight?
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Where was Where is Clayton Kershaw? Kevin?
Speaker 2 (19:46):
He not pitching stopping?
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Come on, come on, Kevin, but Kevin, you let me
tell you something that's the Hall of Fame. You a hey, look, listen,
if they do get up Rob six to one in
the night, No, you don't think Clint Kershaw coming out.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
All I've got I got some intel from Dodger people,
and the last the first game would blow out there
we're thinking about putting Kershaw in and he warmed up.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
They're still looking for the ball, but they think he'll
be all right.
Speaker 5 (20:13):
I'm just saying here, I am for about point zero
zero zero.
Speaker 1 (20:17):
You're like, maybe he's serious, Robby, you think I'm crazy.
Speaker 5 (20:21):
If they're up No.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
Six seven, n Kershaw not gonna get get it, get it,
get it to close this thing up.
Speaker 9 (20:28):
Look, as a producer of a very well regarded MLB podcast,
I feel like I'm the foremost export of this kind.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Of thing because he listens to it all the time.
Speaker 9 (20:35):
I never miss it because I saw.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
You when we're doing it. I'm like, Robb G, can
you wake up?
Speaker 9 (20:44):
I'll tell you what if this game gets you know,
four runs either direction, either Dadter's up for, blue Jay's
up for. This is like the perfect Kershaw game because
it saves the bullpen for the next game tomorrow, which
is going to be more important at that point.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
Especially if you're the Dodgers and you lose. If you
lose today, you can I.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Didn't mean put him in like we saw him last time.
When put he's not going to be in a high
leverage spot.
Speaker 7 (21:08):
If they're no, No, and six to one in the ninth.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
You don't think he comes in and close the series out. Rogie,
y'all crazy.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
No, you can't do.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
That because if that opens up the floodgates, say he
put him in and then the Blue Jays go on off. No, seriously,
open the and you lose because you're trying to be sentimental.
That was the same thing that happened in nineteen eighty six.
Bill Buckner all season used to go didn't play the
ninth inning on the you know, on the field. Dave
(21:41):
Stapleton used to go in for for defensive purposes, so
they wanted him on the field to celebrate the word
that's the boy missed with Mookie Wilson.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Right, Just think about that.
Speaker 4 (21:51):
Here, you are trying to do something for your guy,
stay out there, go ahead, so you could join in
the celebration, and he misses the biggest ball in the
Red Sox want to losing that world service, you cannot
play that.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
It'd be interesting to see, all right, So we gotta
we got something from the manager for the Blue Jays.
You said something to Dodger fans. It's time to give
up something.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
About George Breyer. Yeah, we'll tell you what that is.
Speaker 5 (22:13):
It's the odd couple Rob and Kevin.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Right now, Steven Sager gonna get your sent with's trendon
Hays Steve.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Appreciate your odd Coble, Rob Parker, Covin and Washington on
a Magic City Monday. We got player of the day
on the way Sheecho City as well, getting you ready
for Monday night football. If we could get Rod back
to stop talking.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
You don't like that?
Speaker 5 (22:41):
Off it?
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Come on?
Speaker 3 (22:42):
Run?
Speaker 2 (22:42):
Oh god, come on? Oh god? What no?
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Don't you know I like it? I hang gonna lie
that that one. I would doubt that's your boy? Would
I would rock that?
Speaker 2 (22:50):
Yeah, with some gators. Now that's what at Detroit Closet.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
I'm just saying, Eggs and Payne can sneak in during
the holiday hustle and bustle and the league can help
you forget the pain make happy memories instead. With just
one pill, a leave provides up to twelve hours of
body paint relief so you can keep it moving. You
was as directed, All right, Rob's you the breaking news
about George Springer and the the the ask that the
Dodger fans will do.
Speaker 10 (23:15):
What.
Speaker 9 (23:16):
Yeah, the reputation that Canada has for being soft, it's
not going away anytime soon.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
Well, they do wear comfortable shoes up there, just saying
that's that's the great part about Canadians.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
They were very comfortable people. They're just sorry, we want
no smoking. Nobody really sorry.
Speaker 4 (23:32):
I'm telling you every time I've been up there, and
I used to go to Montreal in the in the
heyday when I was in my twenties, and.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
The club, oh boy, Shay Perry. Shaye Perry was just
a fine establishment in Montreal.
Speaker 9 (23:47):
So you got a warm welcome there in Toronto, and
the what you're saying, absolutely well, you know he's not
gonna get a warm welcome here tonight in Game three
George Springer, and I think we all know why because
he was one of the ringleaders, one of the fore
most members of that cheating twenty seventeen Astros trash Can scandal.
Speaker 2 (24:05):
Well that's the one that cost the Dodgers of the
world absolutely so.
Speaker 9 (24:08):
Ahead of tonight's Game three, Blue Jays manager John Schneider
was asked about what kind of reception he's expecting at
Chavez Ravine and whether or not we can expect that
George Springer is gonna get boomercifully as he has every
time he's come back here to LA And Schneider said, quote,
you know, it's just I wish the baseball world would
(24:30):
just stop that whole thing, you know what I mean.
It's unfortunate, but you know he's ready for it.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Man.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
If you don't get out of here with that sob story,
he and you know what George Springer gets to do,
and he dead and he wants walk around with a
world series ring on. So the least he can do
is get some of these cries and jeers from Dodger
fans or whoever else wants to do it. Look, that's
a part of it, man, There's a consequence for actions,
and that's what they today.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
A lot of the Astros.
Speaker 1 (24:54):
I don't know if he was you know, he looked
like he was part of it, the trashtros what a
lot of people call him.
Speaker 5 (24:59):
This is just part for the course.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
And didn't they get a break? If I remember they
remember they didn't have fans. Remember the next year wasn't
wasn't it? My mixed up.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
It was two years later because I was eighteen.
Speaker 2 (25:12):
Yeah, I remember, like they didn't get the like.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
The harshness of what they should have received, like the crowd.
And they also didn't get punished. They didn't get punished
as the main let's start there. They didn't get punished,
and they could have done something. They weren't going to
take the trophy away.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
I knew that. I just knew that that wouldn't be it.
But there should have been some other punishment.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
There was punishment for people because other people wind up
losing jobs. AJ Hinch the general manager. Remember Carlos Beltran
had had the Mets job. They took that away from him.
Like there was some damage, but not as much as
elective damage.
Speaker 1 (25:48):
And again to your point, I don't know what you do,
Like there have been instances in sports where you're like, okay,
were we taking the trophy back?
Speaker 5 (25:56):
We're taking the ringback?
Speaker 4 (25:57):
You find out college only I'm in college sports.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
That's the only place where they vacate.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, they would say, hey, you had an eligible player,
We're gonna take that trophy.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
What did they do? They gave it back to the
like Michigan and all that. Like, am I right? Like
all that.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
Stuff, and even Reggie Bush. Now it's kind of exonerate.
So it's just to me, you can't do anything about
it post. You have to do something about it during.
But I tell you what, they were brazen too. I
mean they was beating on it like they were the
bucket Boys when you go downtown Chicago. But it wasn't
like some secret. It was loud as hey some time
(26:33):
when people, you know, say yeah, you can hear the
trash cans and you go, oh, man, I don't really hear.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
In this case, when you went to the video YouTube,
you were like, wow, it was very am I right.
It was like really obvious, not like oh I don't
really hear nothing.
Speaker 1 (26:48):
They just over there exaggerated. This one was they were
getting it in. Like if you know, when I'm talking
about the bucket Boys in different cities.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
That we ain't getting rubber maids.
Speaker 9 (26:55):
We need steel trash cans, guys, we need the acoustics.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
They sounded like dude, the boom and doom boom boom.
I thought it was the Little Mermaid.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
All I know is there were like four people who
wind up getting h B c U scholarship for the
Marching Band that's how good.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
They starting in the drum line, Jo.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
You gotta you got who knew? Are you quitting?
Speaker 5 (27:19):
Because I always wanted to pursue my drummer.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
I just gotta.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
I just got a full ride to Virginia State, right,
I had full ride to Virginia State.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
That was That was the storyline for drum Line too.
When the World Series wasn't enough, it would.
Speaker 11 (27:37):
Have been funny for like a Chappelle shop, Oh yeah,
busy there and then him, I mean, of course would
not want to take.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Off the jersey out of respect to my wife.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
With you, they ripped everybody's off, like everybody like almost naked.
They ripped your jersey off, and he's like, oh no,
and the way he yeah, and the way it was
a face.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
Hey, he was like, dude, are you kidding? What about
the radio tape to my back? I know what I got.
Speaker 1 (28:09):
He looked like he was a snitch in a movie
like that the party or something that was wired up.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
You know, he ain, he asked you with the with
all the technology of like Nasau and all that, I
wonder if they could take that video and and do
an X ray to see what's underneath. Couldn't they because you.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
Know, let me tell you what, they're not gonna do
what you just say, baseball, right.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
Don't you think they have something that could test like
look at a picture or video and and and and
remove the clothing.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
To see what.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
Well, the lady didn't come put the way to vest
on him. I don't know if it would work.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
I'm always, let.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Me tell you something, every time I get an X ray,
I'm always like, it's so dangerous, like should you be
doing this that you got to put this thing on me?
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Otherwise the corner right they're hiding. This is totally safe.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
But with that clicker, I tell you what they could
have used, rob They could have just used whatever they
were using at those gambling games them poker games. They
had X ray eye glasses and whatnot. They could have
just used those billups allegedly do that. I said, allegedly,
it's okay that Hey, dang's see bills that was my quarterback.
(29:26):
It's pretty bad, though.
Speaker 12 (29:28):
It is bad the more you read it too, like
oh yeah, and all the other details, like you start
to read like people always jump and then they you
start to read the indictment and read the evidence.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
That they have and the cell phone calls and and
all the other stuff. Then you Damon Jones where he
has a text from a guy talking about, YO, can
you front me ten grand?
Speaker 2 (29:49):
I need money? Blah blah blah. You know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (29:51):
You know what else comes becomes interesting?
Speaker 1 (29:53):
The stuff you heard for years, something silly in the
podcast that now makes more sense. That happens every time
one of these types of things, because now you see
over Arena's telling the story back in twenty twenty two
when he was playing, and he was like, so whenever
I would the Cavs would come in me, Damon Jones,
Lebron would all gamble with the crib and Damon needed
some money. So that's why you see, and there was
an epic playoff game Lebron crosses the free throw line
(30:14):
like you know you He's like, you know, who need
this or something. He was like, that's what he was saying,
because I called myself the landlord because he owed me money.
Speaker 5 (30:20):
Damon Jones. You just start seeing it's like, oh, but.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
The other one, though, is the poker players. You've seen
this rob g who was saying, oh they knew, who'd
say oh no, They've been saying on podcasts for three
years that they got that Chauncey cheated them.
Speaker 2 (30:34):
Yeah, like that's what I mean. All this that's what
they said.
Speaker 4 (30:36):
I'm just repeating what they said allegedly, but they this
is on podcasts from three years ago, not like the
other night.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Because this happened. It was almost remind me of the
comedian with the Bill cos Hannibal, right, who said that
all of a sudden and then all of a sudden.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
That one up.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
Yeah, you could cherry pick of the moment because the
way he said and everybody laughing.
Speaker 5 (30:56):
He was like, I'm not laughing now. He's like, look
it up that even doing this to women.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
No, no, no, no, everybody's gonna like has he And then Automotive
Articles Automo interviews him and uh Larry King laughing about
Spanish fly together like remember a dosal dude, ah, And
you're like, well this is interesting.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
Well, you know, speaking and not laughing.
Speaker 9 (31:15):
Roger Goodell can't be laughing because the latest report is
Antonio Gates was involved in some of these two This
is not just that NBA no situation right now.
Speaker 4 (31:26):
And as they continue to pull the curtain back and
start to you know what I mean, like there could
be a lot. If somebody offers you fifty thousand dollars
to come play in this and then hang out for
two three hours, whatever it is, dude.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
You could.
Speaker 4 (31:39):
I don't care how much money you make. Somebody offers
you rob g fifty thousand to come hang out for
two hours. You're gonna play poker. It's not your money.
You're not gonna lose anything. At the end of the day.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
You walk out with fifty thousands, and I don't don't care.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
It will be my guest. There's a way of insinuating
without insinuating. Mean, I'm not gonna exactly we're gonna have
these eyeglasses and ever gonna, but just.
Speaker 5 (32:00):
You don't come out. I don't worry about you. Know,
you can fast talk your way.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
And also of you the player, you can hear enough
that you need to hear and not hear enough that
can incriminate you, you know what I mean.
Speaker 9 (32:09):
I'm sure we don't know his side yet, but I'm
sure Chauncey's gonna be like I wasn't wear no.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
I just came to the way I played and I
left played chopped it up. They played me. What are
the rappers and a show? Up feed like you know,
you got to the club an appearance feed appearance feeds
what I'm looking for.
Speaker 5 (32:25):
Yeah, you may man, here's twenty five thouve come hang out?
Speaker 10 (32:28):

Speaker 1 (32:28):

when the NBA women yond that goes on like ten
games of thirty straight or or.
Speaker 5 (35:57):
This is that He's like, you't remember the album I
just dropped, here's the deluxe.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
He go two more for you, two three more songs
for you? Oh you like that former player? If you?
If you, if you didn't do it? Do you don't
have to worry? No, No, I know you know they're waiting.
Speaker 1 (36:11):
NBA is gonna finally because you know how I feel
about this current media cycle.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
We get past things quickly. We're gonna get past it.
Speaker 1 (36:17):

Speaker 2 (36:35):
I'm so locked into these player intros right now?
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (36:37):
Right?
Speaker 2 (36:39):
Did they boot George Springer today?
Speaker 5 (36:40):
Boot him?
Speaker 1 (36:41):
Man?
Speaker 2 (36:41):
They boo shirts her sures here too because he pitched
for the Dodgers.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
Right?
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Wait, why they boo just because he was a former No,
he actually didn't pitch well for the Dodgers, right did unusual? Yeah?
Thedn't he like pull himself out of a game, took
itself out of a game. Yes, that's unknotable. No new
contract extension?
Speaker 9 (36:56):
What?
Speaker 2 (36:56):
Oh, I'm done? I'm sorry. Is that what happened? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:59):
Just you know, some people just being different. I would
ever shows it whatever, I springer clear.
Speaker 9 (37:03):
