Speaker 4 (00:55):
In about forty five minutes or so, we're gonna do
a little shop talk. Yeah, so does everybody have a price?
Do you have a price? What you're talking about? Hold
on now, just hold up, you know, like a price
to do something you normally.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Might wouldn't do. Oh man, two seconds, I thought you
was a magic city carried away.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Yes, but we're gonna. I'm also gonna talk about the
Tyson and Paul fight.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Which is coming up. I might have to send this
to Ryan.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
He did an interview he being Tyson with like a
like twelve year old, you know, little girl reporter. She
was great and she's asked them something like very simple like, hey,
you know you're done such an amazing time a great
fighter that do you ever think about your legacy? That's
the most softball, you know, you have to I'm gonna
let you hear what he had to say.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Did you It's like Mike, she's twelve.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
It's wild, But that's because he knows that a legacy
question is you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Is out there? He does.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
He knows that he knows that Robin Kelvin a talking
about it and people having these conversations.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Roan, I'm gonna send that to you.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
I'm gonna send You're gonna and we will ask you
are you watching the fight and what are you hoping
to see?

Speaker 2 (02:10):
You know what I mean? Are you watching?

Speaker 4 (02:11):
So we'll do that, But first we got we're gonna
get a little uh White's advice.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
With We all need a little advice.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Around, so why not take it from a true profession.
This guy is good advice mine wise? What up? Bruh?

Speaker 5 (02:33):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (02:34):
Fellas? Should I say? I say? I don't believe in
the way legacy. It's just another way, the eagle legacy.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Somebody must have heard.

Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yeah, add a little bit more thiff up in there,
and you gotta back.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I broke my back.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Yeah, Mike, Mike, she's like twelve. Mike relaxed, he's a
Then he started cursing at the end. He was like, yeah,
it's just it's just like Mike, Mike, which which voice?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Mike Tyson has that voice? You would have never expected.
Patrick Mahomes has one of those voices too, you know.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Who does Prince? And because he says, oh that and
then you hear you whoa, what the heck? He's like
four eleven something like that. One You got one likes
to put.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
My head, my hand through his head, in his brain.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I want to that's a little yeah, but that's the
Mike can get away with that when he put in
his head through people's heads and stuff.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Who else, Martn't we miss anybody else?

Speaker 5 (03:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Who's got the voice? You would never expect to go
with that?

Speaker 6 (03:30):
I can't think of any better. If somebody pops up,
I'll do are ten minutes here.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Okay, but but.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
You know, like the Mahon like my home dad to
come at the frog doll and all.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
That excurre, You're like, whoa, what the heck?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Because the dad's so cool? All right, we got some
more White's advice.

Speaker 7 (03:47):
Why we got That's right, we got White's advice with
Martin Weis. He can hear him here on the weekend.
So hosting alongside VJ vers, I never missed that show
we know.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
On your two.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
So it's gonna be twenty five of the same old Jones.
We just gonna write him in there for you.

Speaker 7 (04:05):
First off, let's get this one in here because we
got Thursday night football kicking off in just a few minutes.
Commander's at Eagles. Martin likes the Eagles minus three in
this one, Martin, Tom, Why.

Speaker 6 (04:16):
Yeah, I'm taking the Eagles minus three years they just
have a more talented roster. And then these Thursday night
games to since the OEFC this year, when the more
talented team overwhelms the less talented team. Give me the Eagles,
even though I think like the Commander's coaching staff bar
for Barr, line for line is better than the Eagles

(04:36):
coaching staff. I'm going with the talent of A. J. Brown,
Devon Te Smith and the way that Vic Fangio's defense
has been playing in the last five weeks. They really
turned it around from a team that looked like they
were getting the doldrums to now a real competitor in
the NFC. Give me the Eagles minus three.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
I'm with you on this one. I like what the
Eagles are headed.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
And the other thing too, when I'm not trying to
poop pool the com out, cause they've had a really
good season, like remarkable.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
If you want to be honest with a rookie quarterback.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
You take away that Hail Mary and the scene doesn't
look nearly the same, Like that's a big win. Seven
to three and six and four is different. And I
still would and they should have lost that game. To me,
I like the Eagles a lot. I'm with you, Martin.
The defense has been spectacular, they got a five game
win streak, they're at home. There's no reason the Eagles
don't win this game and cover those three points.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, it's gonna be a good win. And you could
convince me either way.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
But I'm gonna go with you guys with the Eagles
because the main reason is kind of what Martin was
alluding to. It's actually the defense, because that's what you're
gonna need going. But they say, yeah, you're going against
these commanders, man and Jaye Danniel is gonna need the defense.
And also that defense can get the offense of the Eagles,
which is starting to come around as well, get them
going if they get them some good field position or
get them some turnovers as well.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
So but it should be a good one.

Speaker 8 (05:53):
Man.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
This could go either way, but I'm gonna go with
the Eagles, but slightly apprehensively.

Speaker 7 (05:58):
All right, next up here, let's move on to there's
two huge games in the AFC, and Martin's got picks
for both of those. First, let's start off with Ravens
at Steelers. Martin is leading with the home Steelers in
this one plus three, Martin, why you got them?

Speaker 9 (06:13):
So?

Speaker 5 (06:13):
Burch is right.

Speaker 6 (06:14):
There are two massive games for huge playoff implications in
the AFC, and both of them are lined up to
be perfect vetting opportunities. You firstally asked them about the
Steelers first one. Here you go, Mike, Tomlins as an underdog.
I'm sorry. I'll just say this. When the line is
three or more. The underdog in this game, the Steelers
Ravens game they play every single year twenty two, four

(06:38):
and three against the spread. That's over a twenty year
sample size. And think about it, these are one of
the two few teams in the NFL that actually have
consistent head coaching matchup. So this matters in terms of
like scheme and strategy. If you told me, you know,
the Seahawks and the Niners had the same rival who
I don't care Mike McDonald's in.

Speaker 10 (06:58):
His first year. These two guys have closed against each.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
Other a million and a half times in the regular season.
When Mike Tomlin faces John Harbaugh, the underdog is Selt
twenty three, six and three against the spread. So you
give me this underdog right here, and Mike commlins by
himself as an underdog as a short underdog is good
money to take in general. Now, on the football side

(07:21):
of things, outside of the gambling stuff. On the football
side of things, Baltimore's pass defense is worse in the NFL.
And it's I mean you took about Carolina, you're thinking
about terrible to Giants. No no, no. Baltimore's pass defense
is one of the worst in the league. And Russell Wilson,
despite his limitations, those deep balls to George Pickens have

(07:43):
taken the Steelers offense from a twenty one point of
game offense full a thirty point a game offense. The
Steelers outscore the Ravens.

Speaker 10 (07:51):
In this matchup because the Steelers defense.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Is that much better than the Ravens defense, and Russell
Wilson goes off.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Here's where I pushed back.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
You can look at those stat's all you want, but
then you could actually watch and see what Lamar is
doing even with that defense. Joe Burrow put up five
touchdowns and took an L. Also, Joe Burrow put up
another four touchdowns and took an L. We're watching Lamar
twenty four touchdowns, two picks, playing outstanding MVP football, And

(08:21):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
The Ravens defense isn't the old Ravens defense.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
But if you're not watching Lamar and look at this differently,
I think you're mistaken. I'm taking the Ravens to not
only you know, with the points, but to win this
game outright.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Yeah, I want to go with you.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
On that one too, Rob, But I'm gonna go with
the Steelers, and I think it's just be a really
good game. But I think they'll make a play or
two on the defensive end that will be the game
deciding thing. I don't think it'll be Russell Wilson quite
as much. You'll have a nice outing because again that
Ravens secondary is trash.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
But I think it'll be a TJ.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Watt making a big play and you know, maybe a
tackle four loss against Lamarrow. Maybe a couple of times
it ends up being huge. So the stealer defense seals
the deal. But it should be a good one.

Speaker 7 (09:05):
Let's move on to that other matchup in the AFC,
that is order the Chiefs at the Bills. The Bills
are two point favorites at home here, but Margo is
on the side of the Chiefs here, Martin take it away.

Speaker 9 (09:16):
I mean, it's just.

Speaker 6 (09:16):
Quite simply, if I get now, this is pretty much
a pure gamble, like a gambling trend. Bet for me,
like the Bills.

Speaker 10 (09:24):
Do you look at them on paper?

Speaker 6 (09:25):
Probably better than Kansas City, especially on the offensive side,
not probably, but but betting against Patrick Mahomes as an underdog,
it's just about as good a retirement fund as VTI
on a stocking deck twelve one and one against the
spread as an underdog, look undefeated underdogs, says two thousand
and three twenty two, eight and two.

Speaker 10 (09:48):
After the fifth game of the season.

Speaker 6 (09:49):
So I mean like real undefeated teams, not like the
Saints will turn on to one zero and then are terrible.

Speaker 10 (09:54):
Real undefeated teams they cover the.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
Spread in this in this scenario, all the time that's
has won his last four games as an underdogs outright,
and one of those four who's against this very same team.
Give me the Chiefs and I'll take good points.

Speaker 4 (10:09):
As in Church, this is no way run away from this.
To not listen to the Martin Weis's advice. From this standpoint,
the Chiefs will be without their kicker. All their games
are close. They can't get into the end zone in
the red zone. Patrick Mahomes is like last place thirtieth
in the red zone. They can't score, and you're gonna

(10:30):
need field goals in this game and they might not
get them. I'm taking the Bills all day to win
this game outright and stop this fraudulent undefeated season by
the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Man. You're wrong. Give me the Chiefs that I'll tell
you why.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
Josh Allen has been fantastic, controlling his turnovers for the
most part of this season, which he's known for normally.
Josh Allen is gonna have a solid game, But Josh
Allen is gonna give that Chiefs defense, which has been spectacular.
They're gonna give him a turnover to that ended up
being de trumental, and I think he's not gonna be
as bad as when he.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Played Lamar Jackson this year.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
But I think the Josh Allen's gonna come back down
to earth a little bit. And Patrick Mahomes is able
to move the ball better than we've seen him in
quite some time. He's been on the road the last
couple of weeks, or at least a role for him
now not his old version of himself. So I'm going
with the Chiefs in this one outright, and they'll they'll
get the job done.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Last one here sneaky, good game. Here.

Speaker 7 (11:23):
This is the Falcons at Broncos. Broncos are favored minus
two and Martin is on the side of the Broncos.
Martin taken away.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
One last week. If we're a special teams, miracle by
Kansas City with Denver. But really I'm looking at this
matchup particularly the Atlanta offense firsus the Denver defense because
Bas johnsph in the Denver defense, they play call the
remembering the Titans strategy may blitch.

Speaker 10 (11:47):
All night, all right, They's all they do.

Speaker 6 (11:50):
And Atlanta receivers cannot get off a man coverage. Kirk
Cousins is gonna get pounded and pummeled in this matchup
by Denvers offense. Denver's offense does just enough so winning
this game and a close one seventeen to fourteen Broncos
on the road.

Speaker 11 (12:06):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
This is a tough one because I keep one to
hate Martin on the Broncos. But to your point, they
don't look as bad as I thought they would and
then I spectacular, but they just keep finding ways to
either win or at least be end games even.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
If they look.

Speaker 5 (12:18):
Yeah, they keep they keep us at the ticket window.

Speaker 1 (12:21):
That's true, that's true. That's true. But my man Kirko
Bangs is doing this thing out there. Kirko Cousins has
been having a really good season as far. I think
the offense gets rolling for Atlanta, give me the Falcons
and uh for Kirko to in another I stout grill
down there in Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Falcons as well.

Speaker 5 (12:43):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
It was interesting to see Sean Payton.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Did you see him trying to deflect how well Russell Wilson.
Did you see that he went out and took went
out of his way to tell everybody that Patrick Mahomes
told him how great bo nix it. Oh, oh you
know he said you got one coach whatever and all that.
That was done deliberately to try to defly got the
guys and all that because everybody else is telling them

(13:09):
how he sent Russell Wilson packing. I hope Sean Payton
loses the rest of the games this year. I'm going
against the Denver Broncs.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
Wowsy, wowsy, whoa, whoa, Look who's got their painting hole
twisted in a bunch loowsy woa.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Then you go, yeah you you you got them telling
you and Sean Payton might have to square off.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
You got him? I do.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
I ain't mad at you though, you know what I mean? No,
I got mad at you. Yeah, he played Russell Wilson.
I already have a seat, He's have a seat.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
You know what is Mike McCarthy would have felt body,
that's all he is. Wow, Mike McCarthy.

Speaker 4 (13:43):
Got the same Go look at that record, same record,
super Bowl, both that Hallame quarterbacks. And the only difference
is Mike McCarthy didn't go seven and nine three years
in a row with a Hall of Fame quarterback.

Speaker 11 (13:56):
Yeah, you're right, he's.

Speaker 6 (13:57):
Going three and seven right now.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
They ain't no Hall of Fame quarterback. What are you
talking about? He's won thirteen games in a row. I'm
thirteen games three years in a row. What are you
talking about?

Speaker 12 (14:09):
Nine?

Speaker 6 (14:10):
How many playoff games in that run?

Speaker 2 (14:13):
No, I'll wait for Sean Payton's playoff when what? What?
What was his last week? Though?

Speaker 1 (14:18):
We were about to have Sean Payton my McCarthy. Yeah,
this is this is, this is the new verses.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Right, I'm sorry, I'm not with the Sean Payton. That's right.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
I'll knock you out the same way Paul is gonna
knock out Tyson like that.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Don't disrespect this like.

Speaker 6 (14:32):
I knocked out these picks last week, going to smooth
four and oh as you guys will be rely disagreed
with you. That's all right, that's Okay.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
That's it couldn't have been that great because you're still
on the radio.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
So I'm just saying, if you winning picks like that,
you should be in Vegas man at four and oh
you last week?

Speaker 2 (14:49):
What'd you do the week before that?

Speaker 9 (14:50):
Four?

Speaker 4 (14:50):
And oh? Let me find out? Let me actually stand, Martin.
According to you, you never gotten one wrong.

Speaker 11 (14:56):
Right, that's not true?

Speaker 10 (14:58):
Okay, in Vegas right now?

Speaker 6 (15:00):
Because I like living by the.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Martin Weiss's advice. We appreciate you, bro. I want to
eat his children. We got to play. So let's say
this rookie. Let's say this.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Are you watching the Tyson Paul fight? Are you watching it?
Are you buying it? Are you watching the fight?

Speaker 2 (15:54):

Speaker 1 (15:55):

Speaker 1 (16:49):
Rob Parker is Mike Tyson and Jake Paul stuff, I
broke my back, that's right.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
So they so they had the weigh in. Yeah, this
is shit it and uh Ryan so was.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
It a pimp slod right now? Look at me here
go f I was gonna rip his hard ever it
was he slapped him, did you see it? Yeah? Just yeah,
he slapped him.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Uh And you could tell you was a boxer, Mike
Tyson because he went into like defense mode immediately, like
you know, you're back like ready to like here comes
a right hook.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
So yeah, I don't know if it's real. I mean,
let me real.

Speaker 4 (17:24):
Final eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox, and the
uh Eagles missed the field goal. Just to give you
an update on Thursday night football, they were driving, had
a big penalty that pushed him back, and they just
missed the field goal. So no score in Philadelphia, nine
fifty five left to play in the first quarter on
this Thursday night. And also uh Tyson Tyson with the

(17:48):
he was with this young girl who asked him about
the legacy.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Man, take a listen to this.

Speaker 15 (17:53):
Return to the ring for this fight. You are setting
a monumental opportunity.

Speaker 6 (17:57):
Kid.

Speaker 15 (17:57):
It's my age to see the legend Tyson in the
ring for the first time. So, after such a successful career,
what type of legacy would you like to leave behind
when it's all said and done.

Speaker 14 (18:07):
You No, I don't believe in the word legacy. I
think that's another word for ego. Legacy doesn't mean nothing.
That's just some word everybody grabbed on to. Someone said
that word, and everyone grabbed on the words, and I
was used every five seconds. It means absolutely nothing to me.
I'm just passing through. I'm gonna die and it's gonna
be over. Who cares about legacy after that? With a

(18:28):
big ego?

Speaker 2 (18:28):
So I'm gonna die.

Speaker 14 (18:29):
I want people to think that I'm this, I'm great.
I'm no, We're nothing where you're debt with dust, absolutely nothing.

Speaker 2 (18:36):
Our legacy is nothing. Thank you, Thank you so much
for sharing that.

Speaker 15 (18:39):
That's just something that I have not heard before someone
say that as an answer.

Speaker 14 (18:43):
Can you really imagine some mighty thing? I want my
legacy to be this way? When I you're dead, why
do you want to say? Do you think I might
really want to think about you?

Speaker 5 (18:51):
How?

Speaker 2 (18:52):
What's the death?

Speaker 14 (18:53):
I think I want people to think about me when
I'm gone.

Speaker 6 (18:55):
Who the fuck?

Speaker 14 (18:56):
Cares about me when I'm gone with my kids, made me.

Speaker 16 (19:01):
Kids. And again, thank you so much for sharing that.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
She was great.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
First off, let me give her kudos Erando flaws. She
stayed cool, calm and collected.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
This is iron mic in front of her getting attitude
Like sounds really good too, Like, yeah, she's really she
might be onto something yet, No, CBS News, you can
put some spectrum.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
No, don't disrespect me like that. I'm sitting here right
in front of you on CBS News.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
I'm talking about a legitimate newsation.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Don't do me like that. Okay, I'm running these streets
in LA. But yeah, that's Mike is Mike has come on,
let's do this eight seven seven ninety nine.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
Few people all, I ain't going to put my hand
my hand through it. You watching the fight, Brandon, and
we know your Brandy.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
You know you're watching.

Speaker 17 (19:45):
Oh yeah, I'm definitely watching. We got all the family
coming over. Everything's gonna be a big event. But I
really hope that fights and doesn't disappoint because I cannot
stand Jake Paul. I know he's been putting in a
lot of work, but I think his fights are all
bogus to be honest, So I hope Tyson can bring

(20:05):
him back.

Speaker 4 (20:06):
The last time Tyson fought, didn't he get pummeled. I mean,
the last time he was in the ring. It was
not It was not a pretty picture.

Speaker 6 (20:13):
You know.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
There was some other fight he fought after that that
didn't go well if I remember correct.

Speaker 16 (20:18):
And again, thank you so much for saying thank you.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Oh yeah, that's Alex. That's a good Ryan. That's oh yeah,
get that one ready. I'm gonna be using that whenever
he's saying any pointless stuff.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
You could use that on Calvin. Just put Kelvin in
the front of that guy in Michigan couple. What's up, Bryan?

Speaker 10 (20:39):
Yeah, we got you?

Speaker 5 (20:42):
All right.

Speaker 13 (20:43):
I was going to ask you guys now that I've
been calling in a little bit. I went out on
me this night. Noise cance on headset, so I sounded
good on the radio.

Speaker 6 (20:51):
How do I.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Sound sound great? You sound terrible?

Speaker 5 (20:53):
Now?

Speaker 2 (20:53):
You sound good?

Speaker 9 (20:54):
Right?

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Especially sound great?

Speaker 13 (20:56):
B All right, Well, let me get Martin White's number.
Man out stend him so we can get him a
nice headset. So I'd like a.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
Yeah, all those bets when he can't get a good
head ran gig guy are you watching.

Speaker 13 (21:17):
I'm gonna you know, I wouldn't pay for the fight,
but since I've already got the streaming service, you know,
is one of the great ones said, you know, I'm
gonna get my puff.

Speaker 2 (21:27):
After all that talking his headphones and went out.

Speaker 13 (21:30):
You kind of see it. I kind of see it
one way.

Speaker 18 (21:33):
I kind of see it like you know when you're
young and sometimes you're running in with your pops and
you know he you know, you know he still can't
take him because you're just at that age. But there
comes in that point in time when you know, you know,
he's getting so old I.

Speaker 13 (21:47):
Can take him. Well, Titsan's past that point, man, Paul,
Paul's gonna gonna embarrass the man. That's that's what's gonna happen.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Yep, that's what's gonna happen. A lot of people are
gonna be mad about it. Eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Fox.

Speaker 16 (22:00):
Thank you so much for shaying yes, if you.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
Want to get in Shan in Sacramento. You're in the
couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up Shore?

Speaker 6 (22:07):
Yeah, Home, i'llcle from another brother because of Kelby my
brother's and the board.

Speaker 11 (22:11):
Real quick man, you can't believe who I just ran
it throughing on you want to get on the phone
real quick, Hey, keellous, I just want to say, man,
who's now watching me?

Speaker 6 (22:21):
Next week?

Speaker 11 (22:21):
Man, I'm gonna put on a real show. I'm gonna
show Paul where daddy is. And if they're not gonna
watch Rob, at least get Kelvin to watch. He's one
of my biggest hands.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Mike, Mike, Tyson, Mike tight Sean, leave the impressions of me.
Short I got a tattoo and I'm not finished.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Wow, all right, eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
We'll take more of your phone call. Are you watching
the Tyson Paul fight? Are you gonna get what is
it on with Shorty?

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Netflix? Are you gonna get in their watches to watch it? Everybody?
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (22:56):
Like, if you have Netflix, I understand you're already paying
for it, would you.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
But you can still protest by not watching, Like I
know I have Netflix, but I ain't watching.

Speaker 2 (23:05):
I'm not watching that at all. I'll see the highlights
watching it. You're gonna have your wings and that watching
it was training, Steve, stop it your watching. You're not
watching this? Watching this? You don't have Netflix. No, he's
not watching it. If you had Netflix, would is it
this weekend? Tomorrow? It's tomorrow. See Steve not interested in
this like me, This is a deb We're gonna be here, Yeah,

(23:28):
we'll be here. Well, what time does it start? It's
a good point. Well, this show goes till seven.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
I fights start all late seven pacifics.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
You know this one.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
They're gonna they're gonna they're gonna wait, they're gonna make
sure everybody watches this.

Speaker 2 (23:42):
But uh, you don't even have Netflix. Come on with Steve.
We got a remedy that. Why, Well, I don't have
an argument with you. Okay, thank you. I just want
to watch it.

Speaker 18 (23:49):
By the way, Friday TV U c l A at
Washington on f S one late Friday or soon c
l A.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
Where is this where you talk about every joke is
the same jokes? And third time? Yeah? Okay.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsportsradio dot
com and within the iHeartRadio app. Search FSR to listen live.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Still having this conversation, we know Steve ain't interested, we know.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
He is not people. I'm not watching Steve not watchingm Ryan.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Steve's point that the timing of this, like I might
have to actually like hang around here and just see
if somebody throws it up on the flicks or something.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
I'm not going out of my way to watch it.
Do you have it in the studio? Do we have
nothing that's mine? Okay? Yours? Are you watching? Alex? Are
you watching by accident? Like by problem?

Speaker 19 (24:43):
Because, like, to be honest with you, I already disliked
the fact we give these Paul brothers a platform to
be influencer.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
Tanke you podcasts, and.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
Now you're now Mike legacy right, giving him a chance
to catch in on his legacy. That's what I hate
about it. That's really what I hate about it and
why I don't want to endorse this. That's why I
want Mike Tyson to get knocked out with you, so
that people can stop doing this. Stop the same thing.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
I remember.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
Yeah, that's how it started. I brought that up yesterday.
Started with Floyd when he went from a legit boxer,
he's random. One of was like, he fights so many
random people that.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
You don't even know. You're like, wait, he was in
Dubai and he thought, who, like I don't.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Even just taking money. It's just the money go and now.
And now Tyson's kind of doing the same. Let's eight
seventy seven ninety nine on Fox. We're still talking about this. Look,
the fact of the matter is people are gonna be
watching it. It's tomorrow and Netflix everybody. The great thing
about it, if you're Jake, Paul and even Tyson is
everyone already has Netflix for the most part, So it's
like they don't have to go out of their way.

(25:42):
I don't have to pay eighty nine ninety nine for
a pay per view. It was the same thing with
the Brady Roast. Member great point. That was one of
the biggest things on this spot. The whit House hilarious.
That was actually hilarious.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
Jeremy and Maine, you're on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Red.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
Did they cheat in the Brady Roast too? Was it cheating? Well,
they brought up cheating. They brought up to the Microphoneorge,
how Brady liked him.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
Yes, all right, Jeremy and Maine, you're in the eye couple.
What's up, buddy?

Speaker 2 (26:06):
How's it going, guys? What's up? Jeremy? The only person
I know for Maine what's up, brother?

Speaker 10 (26:10):
Oh much?

Speaker 12 (26:10):
I'm gonna be definitely be watching the fight tomorrow. My
uncle to my uncle, Jeff's far with Mike Tyson back
when he was younger, before he became professional.

Speaker 7 (26:21):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
Wow, okay, did he ever take a right hook or anything?

Speaker 20 (26:25):
We say that again?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Did he ever catch a right hook?

Speaker 12 (26:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (26:31):
He doesn't really talk about it.

Speaker 2 (26:32):
He caught a right hook.

Speaker 1 (26:33):
He don't want to relive it.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
They should know that it didn't go well because I
think he has apple sauce for dinner every night.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
We're going to Alice.

Speaker 4 (26:44):
Everything's not fun, Alice in Pittsburgh. You're on the eye
couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
Alice. I know you laugh? Didn't you laugh? Alic?

Speaker 11 (26:52):
How are you guys doing great? You know what? I
like Mike Tyson.

Speaker 9 (26:57):
A friend of mine flies helicopters, and he flew Mike Tyson.
I don't know if you know anything about him and
his pigeons. They had this special about his pigeons, and
my friend who used to work for one of local
news stations flew and covered that. And he's really a
nice guy. And I hate Jake Paul, so I'm not
really into fighting that I can't stand Jake Paul and

(27:18):
I'd like to see Tyson's platinum. He probably won't, but
I would like to.

Speaker 4 (27:23):
I think there are a lot of people like you
because they I'm with you on the Jake Paul stuff
and this money that he's carved out in his niche.
But Mike Tyson is almost sixty years old, and I thinking,
I know he is.

Speaker 9 (27:35):
I know he is, but I still would like to.

Speaker 11 (27:37):
It could happen.

Speaker 9 (27:37):
You never know.

Speaker 11 (27:38):
I mean, if he is, yes, I already have Netflix.

Speaker 9 (27:41):
Anyway, I wouldn't buy I wouldn't get Netflix to watch it.

Speaker 11 (27:44):
I have Netflix.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
That's the key part, Alice, thank you. Alice says she
don't like fighting, but she loves football. That's the part
is that I actually believe a lot of people wouldn't
buy this more.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
I think Netflix or Jake Paul promotion. I think they
would actually been shot.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
If it was paid per view, and because of the
injury to Tyson, it just it's been so long. But
I think because it's on Netflix, people are like I,
it's all right right there. You know, in a minute
they turn on their Flix, it's gonna be sitting right
in front of them.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Click this to watch this fight, all right, Coach g
and Augusta Georgia. You're in the office, Coach Fox.

Speaker 20 (28:21):
Thank Nicole, just too quick points. First of all, Netflix
on not this thing all the way out the park,
like y'all saying they already have this pro you know
the program. It's just gonna it's a win win for them. Rob,
you made a good point. Nobody else is saying this, Rob,
But I've heard anybody. Can y'all hear me?

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Yeah? Yeah, I got this?

Speaker 20 (28:40):
Then?

Speaker 11 (28:40):
Ye go ahead, you made.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
You made a great point.

Speaker 20 (28:43):
Rob.

Speaker 5 (28:44):
People forget this and what Mike was still in his
boxing shape professionally competing.

Speaker 10 (28:50):
He lost his last.

Speaker 5 (28:52):
Six bouts tudorot Field, wonder of Lewis, Russell, Douglas and
the last two guys which are rasing no names, not
him out.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
They did. And that's what I was saying, right, So if.

Speaker 5 (29:03):
He would at the end of his las body said
I'm retiring. I'm not good for the sport. I don't
want to embarrass the sport. Remember that route, Ye, Now,
all of a sudden thirty years well, you know whatever,
years later from that, you're back.

Speaker 10 (29:16):
You're gonna research.

Speaker 5 (29:17):
You know all that's coming back it doesn't work that way.
I don't think it's good.

Speaker 6 (29:21):
For boxing for sure, and I just don't want to be.

Speaker 5 (29:23):
Part of that circus.

Speaker 10 (29:25):
The only way it's going to change.

Speaker 5 (29:27):
And if he gets put out.

Speaker 1 (29:28):
Cold, I remember when you saying that, now but I
have a pool and that say you've got do you
have Netflix?

Speaker 2 (29:33):
He's gone? He's gone.

Speaker 16 (29:36):
Man, again, thank you so much for sharing that.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (29:38):
We appreciate the call. Mike and Montana. You're on the
odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 12 (29:42):
What's up, Mike, Rob, I haven't talked to you since
the night Chris announced he was leaving the show.

Speaker 20 (29:48):
Uh.

Speaker 12 (29:49):
I'm the Lions fan, and man, I've been dealing with
your Lion's hate for years. But for this Rob, you
moved the goalposts and so many things. And you talk
about how sports, when people get old and they retire,
it's not that they can't do it, it's that they
can't do it long term. Professionally. Tyson, Yeah, he's almost sixty,

(30:09):
but if you put Tiger Woods on a golf course,
he could shoot sixty eight today. And Tyson doesn't have
to be good for weeks.

Speaker 20 (30:14):
He has to be good for one.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
But he also could get knocked out.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Come on now, Mike, and we just talked about it
when he was still fighting and in boxing shape.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
He got beat like he got but he got beat.

Speaker 4 (30:25):
And my point is you're fighting a guy thirty years
younger than you.

Speaker 2 (30:30):
Thirty years. I don't know how old you are, Mike.
How old are you?

Speaker 20 (30:34):
I'm forty three?

Speaker 2 (30:35):
All right? Do you want to take on a seventeen
would you? Would you take on a seventeen year old?
Right now? I'll fight a seventeen year old. Yeah, I
got too much.

Speaker 12 (30:42):
Seventeen year old right now, seventeen year old night right now.
I'm in better shape compared to you would expect because
a seventeen year old adn't hit that man string.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Yeah, I'm whipping a seventeen year old up. Yeah, I
got too much and nothing else. I'm boy.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
Well, Mike, I want you to call back when Mike
Tyson gets knocked out of the ring.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
First of all, let me just say this, MI, Mike
Tyson ain't getting knocked out, nor is Jake. They're fourteen
ounce gloves. That's a huge day. They're usually their ten
ounce glove, meaning you ain't getting to the knuckles. We
ain't getting to the knuckles. It's gonna be a couple
of good punchers.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
Fought at the Palace with the big with the big overstaid,
you know, not for Terry Foster.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Yeah, well the fight. Yeah, this ain't this ain't happening.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
However, if someone wants to get knocked out, it would
be Jake because if Mike Tyson just has one little
flash want to circle the early nineties, late eighties, and
he just has a flashback and one upper cut comes
to Jake face, it could.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Be a rap.

Speaker 4 (31:36):
Maybe since Mike Tyson is on you know the money
they offer from another three or four million dollars to
take a fall, you know what I mean? If you
if you're get knocked out and then we could we
could get another fight. Well we gonna have another fight
and then have you have a redemption. And Mike Tyson
he wasn't ready. So it's better if if.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
If I think it's Jake Pauk is knocked out as
the best thing, because then you get real people who
go on.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
They were really fighting. I'm really was knocked out, man,
That's it's embarrassing.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
If Jake Paul gets knocked out, this is great for
them because then they can say, oh, this is legitimate. Jake,
the promoter of this got knocked out and he got flat.
You get real boxing fans like, yo, this was actually
kind of real. I gotta watch it.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
Got to watch it, you know, to see like where
they are because what was the other fight we saw
which was terrible? Yeah, something, and you could just tell
they weren't really doing anything but.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Just everybody saying to slap the stage. By the way,
the slap for those who don't know, Mike Tyson just
slapped Jake Paul a few minutes ago out the way.

Speaker 9 (32:35):
No.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
I think he had like some crumbs on his Yeah,
it was just that was it.

Speaker 1 (32:39):
The only thing I will say Mike had. You could
tell he's a train boxer. He slapped him in went
a median and like shifting is like, you know, you
gotta duck the slip, you gotta slip the jab, and
I was like, oh, he's locked in.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
I'm a Corana storage man, all right, shop talk tolana saurus.
What is that corna storage man? I think there was
one on the Flintstones. Talantasaurus.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Yeah, that's the thing that tipped the car over, right, Hey,
shot Bronosaurus ribs.

Speaker 2 (33:03):
If you're going to turn the car over every time,
I just don't understand.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
Because that's a whole that's like you eating the ribs
you get from raffles every time.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Everyone has a price, Steve, what is your full? The
same jokes all the time, But Fred also had the rib.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
World class amazing teas to tell me about Steve, tell
him bringing up your jokes?

Speaker 2 (33:23):
Can I do this amazing tease? Hey, Steve, everyone.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Has a price? What is yours? Rob Parker, Calvin Washington,
the Odd Couple?

Speaker 16 (33:33):

Ain't nobody's still being a bump shop?

Speaker 9 (34:38):
You know that?

Speaker 1 (34:39):
Ain't nobody is you talking about whoever whatever whatever you
want to in the bush up?

Speaker 9 (34:44):
Why you know?

Speaker 2 (34:45):
It's shop talking, that's right.

Speaker 7 (34:47):
This is shop Talk on the Odd Couple Fox Sports Radio,
where we chop it up about anything going on in
sports and beyond. Kind of continuing the conversation based off
of the Mike Tyson Jake Paul fight, as you guys
have brought up yesterday. Uh, it's this idea of Mike
Tyson kind of putting a price on on his It's.

Speaker 4 (35:04):
Twenty million for him, so right, he's basically giving up
his legacy or oh stop it a chance of giving
up his legacy Ryan for twenty million dollars exactly.

Speaker 7 (35:13):
So, Mike Quesar to you, guys, is what is your price?
Because if everyone does have a price, what is it?
Well it's a very open ended question in the sense
of like what are we doing?

Speaker 2 (35:25):
You know what I mean? But I will say it
is about what you're.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
Doing because there's certain things and I mean there's like
all jokes aside, there's certain things you couldn't convince me.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
To do that show fear factory to get people in there.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
You remember that cheet it's your fear uh snakes and
then you have to go there and snakes are covering you.

Speaker 6 (35:43):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
Ever see the Dave Chappelle one on that so funny?
I saw it. It's so funny.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
But but you know what I mean, Like Alex, for you,
I don't know what it'd be like the slaughter animals
because like maybe you maybe to eat a lamb chop.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
Can I tell you to eat a lamp chirst?

Speaker 19 (35:59):
I'm not vegan. I don't have any labels at Carneias
oud of like three weekends ago. Okay, so there's there's
definitely I'll say this. Everyone does have a price, as
much as you say you don't. So for example, think
of the craziest thing in the world right, kight on.
If I told you that your children's children's children are
taking care of for the rest of their lives, you
wouldn't think about it, like really think about it.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
But let's do it like this, Salas, I agree with that.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
You know what I'm saying if it's that kind of money,
but just saying, like a million dollars to do something
that you you know what I mean, like like it,
but that's the amount of money. Let's like make it
ten million or twenty million, because that would be of
course you would do that.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
You'd have to do it.

Speaker 19 (36:36):
The only thing when you told me, if you told
me right now, I would be a million of closed
down MLB bro.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I got one for you.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
I got one for a million dollars that I would
be in golf with rats or something in a ros.

Speaker 20 (36:51):
Here.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
You know what I'm saying it like I'm telling you,
would you do it? I wouldn't do it.

Speaker 8 (36:55):
Really, I'm telling for a mill did you see him
jumping my lap with a bat flew around here? I'm
not I believe it. I'm not nail for a million dollars,
I believe it. But that's why you gotta up it though,
because he's already doing well in life. So you gotta
up into not being funny like when you when.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
You're doing eight a million, you really it ain't really,
especially living in California, and a million ain't with a million.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
Yeah, So you gotta see what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (37:16):
But I do get what you're saying, Like there's certain
things you're like, nah, I just absolutely.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
Somebody they told you you had to eat a rattlesnake hole,
and I'll give you two million dollars like you.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
Would do it? Would you take?

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Speaking of, there's one I have a here's a great example,
all four of us.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
The year is nineteen ninety three. I'm three years old,
and speaking of but you're you're you? Then?

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Okay, shut up now with time traveled Mike Tyson Peak,
Mike Tyson, punch you hard as he can bear, fist
it for twenty five million dollars.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Do I get to have a mouth guarden so my
teeth don't follow or anything. No mouth. I will not
grant you that. The face, yes, I'll take it. Hurt,
so I'll take it. Why aren't you getting punched in
the face? Mike peak?

Speaker 7 (38:03):
Mike, this is like I'll dwopping people. That's that's a
lot of money. I'd have to give it a shot,
just a betting that I wouldn't survive it.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
This is how we'll go, ding ding ding Yyes, agee,
we'll be at your funeral.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
