some NFL and.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Don't have to come on.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I know, Hey it's bread and butter, so let's do it.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
And I just want you to know I'm more of
an NBA guys, not just.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
What an NFL you mean, Well, no, we we talked about.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
I love it and that's why I love Fox and
I love being here right because a pigeonhole. I'm not
just gonna be sitting there talking about football. And that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
And you know what a lot of people, a lot
of guys have worked over the years, are like, I
just I know the NFL, but I don't want to
just speed.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
It is ridiculous because we all know it's the same
way in our case. And you know me, I cover
baseball extensively. I've covered the NBA since nineteen eighty seven.
I covered the NFL since nineteen eighty seven. I covered
large tailor. I mean, that's how long ago I'm ephrom
I was. I was there like in the late eighties

(02:22):
when they had to strike and all that. I mean,
I was there. I covered all that stuff Bill Parcells
with the coach.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Because I'm looking at you, man, you don't look at
day over seventy.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
That was for real, man, Like you know how painful
is that?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
That's all right?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
From you know what I'm gonna say, this is uh you.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
You hope to get here? I don't know absolute it
don't even like I can't even front. There's no front
and right.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
And I say it all the time like I'm cool
with being sixty you really do.

Speaker 4 (02:54):
I'm cool with it, I really am. But talking about sixty.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
The Cowboys should let somebody else pay Dak Prescott sixty million.
And I get it. Got to have a quarterback. The
league is set up that way. If you don't have
a quarterback, e from you're basically out of any chance
of winning anything like you could maybe this is not
have to have the greatest defense ever like when the
Ravens won, and you don't have to have a great quarterback.

(03:22):
Just don't make a big mistake. I get all that.
But for the most part, with the way over there, right,
you need to be able to have somebody help you
to win, and you need a good quarterback. And I
get it with this is what's so and so made
and he's the next up. And you know you shouldn't
have to pay the position, you should pay the player.
And Dak Prescott to me, I've said it for a

(03:44):
long time. Chris always oh, he's en route to being elite.
I never bought in that he was elite. And I'm
not saying he hasn't played well in stretches and done things,
but elite no, because he doesn't. He hadn't won enough
against the better team. And that's the issue that I
have with him. And the same thing when it comes
to the postseason. His last go look at the last

(04:06):
two postseason, last two years when they got knocked out.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
He had terrible games, terrible.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
The Packers came in there, and I know the defense
wasn't great for the Cowboys, but he helped turning the ball over,
giving the ball to the Packers, setting them up for
easy scores and whatnot. And he's been bad and I'm
just not gonna do it. If somebody else, I'm gonna
let him play out this year. If somebody else wants
to cash him out. I'll see how he plays. If

(04:32):
he really balls out, they finally get to an NFC
championship game with a chance to go to the super Bowl,
and he plays well, then I'm willing to anty up
the money if he can show me that, But beforehand,
I'm not doing it.

Speaker 5 (04:44):
Yeah, and I think they're taking the right approach in
terms of, hey man, we're not going to pay sixty
million dollars a year right now.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Now.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
If you come out and you have a sensational year
like lead the league and quarter touchdown pass like he
did a year ago or two years ago, and I
think it was at last year, you get us deep
into the playoffs like NFC Championship said, it's not and
if they were to lose and it wasn't because of

(05:15):
airic throws or turnovers, something collapse. Now we can have
a conversation about that because we've moved the needle forward
to where we're trying to get. Our ultimate goal is
to get into the Super Bowl and win it. If
you do anything less than that, then yeah, I don't
see the problem with letting someone else pay Dak Prescott
sixty million dollars a year, because what that does is

(05:38):
that allows you to reset the clock in terms of
being able to build and bring more pieces in, whether
it be uh Trey Lance and the work you've guys
been doing with him for a year and a half,
if he's ready to take that next step and get
some reps, whether it be you got somebody in the

(05:58):
draft you're eyeing, depending on your draft position, if you're
gonna move up and make a move there. But to
pay Dak Prescott sixty million dollars a year and he
and you're not getting any return on that in terms of, yeah,
you can win twelve games, Yeah you can make the player.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
And they've done that three years of wrong.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
That's great.

Speaker 5 (06:18):
If that is your goal, yes, pay him sixty million
dollars a year. If you're happy with just that, then yes,
pay him sixty million dollars a year. But if you're not,
then what is the definition of insanity doing the same
thing over and over again expecting different results?

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Right? They paid him when he came off the ankle injury.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
The current contract he's in right now, four years, one
hundred and sixty million dollars. Have you gotten any further
now or last year? That you did prior to giving
him that contract. You absolutely have not you want a
division a couple times, okay, And if that's the goal,
once again, pay him the money. But if your goal,

(07:01):
like Jerry Jones has said, is to go to the
Super Bowl and win the Super Bowl, I don't believe
Dak Prescott is the quarterback that can take you there.
We saw the very same thing with Tony Romo. Sooner
or later, you're going to hit your ceiling when it
comes to talent.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Right, And I think that Tony Romeo comparison is great
because Tony Romo put up a ton of number eight
for the Cowboys, but they couldn't get over the hump
at any point.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
And at some point.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
There's a vicious cycle because it's like, well, we can't
give up Tony Romo because then what we're gonna be
without a court. But but you're not getting to where
you want to get to. So at some point you
have to case in point, case in point. If you
took Joe Burrow and put him on Dallas, the Dallas.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Calboy, are you kidding right? Right?

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Look even this this, this is even a more outlandish one.
If you took Brock Birdie and put him on the
Dallas Cowboys. Do you think that he can get you
further than Dak Prescott? Right, these are the questions you
have to answer your to ask yourself when you got
sixty million dollars a year for the next five years,

(08:12):
four years that you're you're going to offer somebody, you
have to really ask yourself those questions.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
I totally agree.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
And and somebody's gonna pay Dak and it'ld be out,
of course the drum beat I mean for Dak Prescott
and they'll talk about, well he finished second, he's finished
second for the MVP Leaston. Wait wait a minute, Lamar
Jackson was one vote from unanimous.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
He ain't finished second, Like you know what I'm saying, Like.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
I know, technically he was second, but he would not
say not really, not really. So So before you do
all that and try to say it was the best
year he ever had. And they won twelve games three
years old, but they got nothing. And if you go
look back at that Green Bay Packers game at home
after they had won like they won sixteen straight home
games going into that and they got embarrassed. Dak played poorly,

(09:02):
the defense didn't show up. It was a bad day
all around. But I'm just not I just I'm not
going to be the one.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
With the niners like you.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
There's con there's we have information, right, there's not a
small sample size. You can make an educated decision based
on the information that you have and the information that
we have the same information, like I said earlier that
we had on Tony Romo for whatever reason, when you

(09:34):
get to the postseason, you don't get the same player
you do in the regular season. That's not sixty million
dollars a year.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
And that's the issue is And you don't have to
do it every year, but there's that one.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
You just want to feel like he did it.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
He did it, and okay, he did it, some other
things have happened or whatever and it didn't work out
you know, other years, but he did do it once.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Purdy took a team to the NFC Championship Game twice
into the Super Bowl once he started twenty five games.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Like?

Speaker 2 (10:11):
This is what this is? This is what we're talking about.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
Right, And you're still looking for Dak the Cowboys Is
it ninety four that haven't been to the NFC Championship
Game since ninety ninety four with.

Speaker 5 (10:21):
Home feel advantage, with all the bells and whistles you need,
what do you got.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Thirty years that that's almost inconceivable, am I right?

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Those that's like the Detroit numbers mane right.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
And the Lions actually made it. They were off that list.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
It was a list that included like the Cowboys, the Lions,
the Browns, you know, who are an expansion team. It
was like, those are the three teams that hadn't been
to the NFC or a championship game in like the
last thirty years. And the Lions erased that Browns you know,
or don't have as long as a history because they,
you know, were reborn. But it's still the Cowboys.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
Which is the biggest brand in American sports with no
cachet outside of what happened in the nineties.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
And they could sell all the T shirts, all I hat,
all of that.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Ratings bonanza, you get all of that. Jerry Jones is
in his eighties and he'll he'd cut off his son's
right arm and sell it to get a Super Bowl
and paying sixty million dollars to a guy that hasn't
shown that he can get you over the hump, who
can capitalize in the big games in the playoffs. To me,

(11:33):
that's insanity period, that's insanity. And I know what are
they gonna do? Where they gonna look for a quarterback? Well,
look somewhere else because the one you have isn't getting
You're not accomplishing.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Your goals and you can't.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
Like.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
The problem too, is the longer you let this go,
now you can't pay everybody, so you have to start
letting people go.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
You had this team in place to.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
That part, right, THEO had like a super Bowl roster
for four years.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
And that's why I say you got to restart the
clock at that position, which freeze up your ability to
continue to add pieces. But if you if you're going
to lock in at the least what four years, what
is that two forty four years to forty with probably

(12:29):
I would say two hundred fully guaranteed.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Right, something like that, And then you that's what we're
looking at. Then you don't have enough money for the
other guys. Right then you're starting to say, well, who
are gonna let go? Who we're not gonna pay, and
then other guys aren't getting paid, and now that defense
isn't as good or your receiving court for Dak ain't
as good because Je Lamb decides I'm not you know
what I mean, I'm out of here. I need to

(12:52):
get paid.

Speaker 5 (12:53):
Michael Parsons, Right, like all of these things, all of
these pieces that have made you a contender, all that
can go away if you overpay someone who cannot cash
in on that contract. And I don't see Dak Prescott.
And I don't have a problem with Dak Prescott. I'm
not Prescott hater.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Just because I don't want to pay him in that situation.
It has nothing to do with liking him or disliking
him at all. I just it's about results. And I'm
always I'm the first guy. Pay the people for money, right,
but pay the people produce. If you produce, you gotta pay.
You gotta pay people. And if no matter if it's
our business, if it's out on the field, whatever, somebody's

(13:36):
doing TV ratings or whatever, they get paid. They get paid.
You can see there all you want. I don't like them, dude,
what a ratings say?

Speaker 5 (13:44):
If there was no salary cap, I would be like, yeah,
dallat's go ahead right right, go ahead, shoot it, shoot
run it.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
Two forty give him to forty for four years.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Unbelievable. All right, they're saying Lebron is the best player
in America, So then why do the Lakers still stink?

Speaker 4 (14:01):
That's what I want to ask from you from There's
no doubt about it.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
This is a distant part where we fight.

Speaker 4 (14:05):
You're gonna fight right here.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
It's been too nice for most of the show, but

What else I was about? Oh my God?

Speaker 4 (15:42):

Speaker 1 (15:44):

eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox that's the phone number.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
It is the odd couple.

Speaker 1 (15:53):

You can enter every single day for a fresh entry
and an additional chance to win. To enter and get

visit Fox sports radio dot com furnished by tire rack
dot Com. The way tire buying should be, all right,
from let's talk about your team, and we all know

(16:40):
your big Los Anglelees Lakers fan and Lebron has had
the bailout team USA AD AD's played well right so
far right in these preseason exhibition whatever you want to.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Call these games. Are we talking about the Lakers? Oh
about that?

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Let me saying that USA? Well, no, no, no, I'm gonna talk.
But how in the world can those guys that Lebron's
the best player. That's what the players are saying. He's
the best player on the USA team at thirty nine
and counting. Ad has also been great. He's a great player.
But why do the Lakers need to play in in

(17:20):
order to get into the playoffs? What those two guys
aren't enough.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
I'm gonna explain to you why the USA team considers
Lebron James the best player on the team and he's
playing like it. They lose the last two games without
Lebron James, that's a fact. The reason is the top

(17:46):
three vote getters for MVP of the NBA are all
playing in the Olympics. Well not even Luca's not even
playing in the Olympics. They didn't even make it. They're
all playing for their countries, which is not the United States.
That's the difference. The joker right, in my opinion, the

(18:12):
four time MVP right the last four years, Yannis, think
about it, All of these players that have one MVP,
they're all they're not from the US. Like normally all
those guys would be on the US team and we

(18:35):
would be steamrolling player teams.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
But the world has gotten better.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
So yes, although Lebron is thirty nine, and he's the
best player on the US team when it comes to
the season, and you know the top players in the NBA.
If Lebron's in the top five, the top four are
playing for other teams, other other countries because they're not
from the US. You get what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
I understand it.

Speaker 5 (19:05):
So and so you need a team, You need guys
to be healthy. AD and Lebron alone on it. It's
just not enough anymore. It's just it's not enough, and
I wish it was.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
I've said this, Lebron despite the numbers, people look at
him and think they're the same numbers of ten years ago.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
It's not the same instact numbers, right, right.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
The numbers a liability.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
Right, He's not.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
Ron James defensively is a liarblay an inch of defense
because he picks and chooses. Now, you can still see
the rundown everyone down on the blocks and all that.
But when you're in the half court and I've watched it,
it's driven me crazy. I've watched it on TV, I've
been live, I've sat right down. I'm screaming at him.
He will lose his man, he will not follow his

(19:51):
man through he'll send, he'll stay, and he'll if his
man cuts through, he'll send somebody else there. And in
that miscommunication back or dunk and we watch the different
Knuggets do it to him. Who you think was Garden?
Eric Gordon on baseline dunks in in game and was

(20:11):
it Game three?

Speaker 1 (20:12):
But what I love though, is he always looks like
if you had another play, he'll be looking like yeah,
he does it every single time.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Put the hands on the head, like, no, that was
your guy? What what? What?

Speaker 4 (20:22):
What part don't you get? That was your guy?

Speaker 5 (20:24):
And although he is a dynamic basketball player and still
playing at a high clip, the thing that really set
Lebron apart was he can give you that.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
For forty minutes both ends of the court and that
and that's one.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
It's one end of the court. And here's the other
thing too.

Speaker 1 (20:43):
The numbers will still look great, but it's easier to
score than ever before.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
So even that.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Part you three point shooting from three.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
So there's a little bit you think, oh, these are
the same exact numbers that when he was playing.

Speaker 5 (20:57):
The defensive end, like the defensive end tensity, when the
Lakers were whole defensively, they were a tough team. They
were a tough out, Cam Reddish, Vanderbilt, Troy Vinson, all
of the Christian Woods, all of these None of these
guys were available during the playoffs, all right, the play
and they weren't available.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
Those are the three and D guys.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
You need to pair up with two superstars and Lebron
and Ad to really make a difference. And then you,
you know, you draw the short straw and you take
the one team in the West that no one thought
you could beat, including yourselves in the Denver Nuggets. If
that's anybody else in the first round, we're having a
different conversation. We saw it last year when they went

(21:42):
the year before last when they went all the way
to the what's then Conference.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
Finals, because the matchups worked out for him exactly right.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
And the NBA is about matchups, talk about it, not
just team matchups, but player matchups as well.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
So, look, who's going to guard that guy?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
And if you don't have an answer for him, then
they're going to kill you every single time until you
can figure out something or some other way to do it.
Uh So you know this, this will be interesting on
where the Lakers are. But coming up next we'll talk
more NBA because Eddie House will be in a house.
He'll join us. Coming up next the NBA Champion. NBC

(22:17):
Sports Boston analysts will do that and much more, But
first let's get you caught up.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
Yes, Sir Eddie House, NBA Champ, NBC Sports Boston Analyst,
Emmy Award winner, and of course Fox Sports Radio NBA Analyst.
And what has happened to mister Eddie House? Say hi
to epom Sala?

Speaker 9 (22:49):
What's that? What's going on? Tell us how y'all doing?

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Doing great? Good?

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Yeah? We want to start with the team USA. And
you know Sudan it was a nail bider Germany? It
was close. What are we watching here? What hop and Lucy?
Why are things so close? Are they just taking it
taking their time to get everything to gather Steve Kerr?
Or is there something I'm missing?

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Hey?

Speaker 9 (23:13):
Well you put a whole What happened?

Speaker 2 (23:15):
What hop and Lucy? You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Eddie?

Speaker 2 (23:19):
Did we lose you?

Speaker 1 (23:20):
I think he hit a button or something. Right, rob
g you call him back? You know, you hit your phone.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
I think he just he's on the road. Not like that.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
He didn't like that.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Yeah, I wouldn't either. I'd hang up too.

Speaker 6 (23:31):
What.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
All right, here we go, Eddie, you hit talk him?

Speaker 1 (23:33):
I hit the button? All right?

Speaker 9 (23:35):
No, I didn't hit no button. I don't know what
happened on y'all. End man, you get your budget up. Look, no,
I say what happened Lebron James. Lebron James is still
the best player in the world. You know, when it
came down to it, he is able to take an
all star team, Star study team, put him on his
back and still win.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
He's the best player in the world.

Speaker 9 (23:57):
Really, Yeah, I gotta say. I mean the world games os.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Yeah, but I'm just you really believe he's the best
the best player on the No, I'm asking you. Is
he the best player.

Speaker 9 (24:08):
In the world and he's gonna be the best player?

Speaker 4 (24:10):
Oh that's not what I asked you. Is he the
best player? Who's the best player?

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Eddie?

Speaker 4 (24:14):
Come on, no semantics. I want you to answer the question.

Speaker 9 (24:18):
I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with Lebron James that.

Speaker 4 (24:21):
The best player stop it.

Speaker 9 (24:22):
Who's the best player now? Who you're gonna give it?

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Joel Andbi the Joker?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
How about that?

Speaker 9 (24:28):
Oh we just got by thirty points. I know the
best player in the world. Don't ever, don't ever get
what by thirty I don't care what you say.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
So, so Wimby's no good because he lost twenty eight
games in a row.

Speaker 9 (24:38):
Uh, not the best player, but he's not the best
player in the world.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
Okay, conversations.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
So you're telling me that Lebron James is better than
the Jokers. That what you're saying.

Speaker 9 (24:47):
I'm saying that Lebron James right now the best player.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
Oh but he but he has to go through the
play and to get into the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
Lebron every year with a d. He's the best player
I'm talking.

Speaker 9 (24:56):
About right now?

Speaker 5 (24:57):
Can you ed?

Speaker 9 (25:00):
Don't right today? You asking me right today?

Speaker 5 (25:03):
Eddie, We're confused. Rob is trying to trick you up.
He's he has an agenda. He has an agenda.

Speaker 9 (25:10):
Walk me into a corner that put the swing out
of that corner, throw it dab and maybe you get
to it with a quick little right cross and then
get back to the middle of the ring. What I'm saying, listen,
I'm not allowing that to happen, but I'm saying, right now,
you can't tell me that Lebron James doesn't look like
the best player in the world. He can't tell me
that he doesn't.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
I guess again, does again?

Speaker 1 (25:32):
And that was like he lay up at the end
of the game, was that anybody.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
Had created though, look look what he's doing.

Speaker 5 (25:43):
It he's doing he's look, let's get back to it,
like just watching them Lebron James And.

Speaker 2 (25:49):
I said this earlier. Rob is an idiot. I said
this earlier.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
Without Lebron James on this team, the US team would
be in trouble now moving forward as we get into
pool play in the Olympic coming up this at the
end of the week, like, what does Team USA need
to do after a couple shaky friendly matches with teams
that were legitimately undermatched in terms of talent, what do

(26:14):
they need to do to make a push in this Olympics,
Because look, just getting out of pool play with one loss,
so we're looking for the dominance of being undefeated all
the way to the gold medal. At do you believe
that they can accomplish being undefeated onto a gold medal.

Speaker 9 (26:30):
I think they can. I think they got more talent
and if they all just come together. And when I
say come together, has nothing to do with the offensive
prowess or the offensive abilities that all of these guys have.
It's about are they going to be able to slot
into certain roles to make it work as a team. Offensively,
That's how that part gonna work. But if you do

(26:50):
the work defensively, I don't care if you don't have
to be a first, second, third, four fifth option to
play defense. You don't have to have that to have
that want to lock in on the defensive end, you
can all come together. So it's about their defense. Are
they going to be one on the defensive end? If
they are, they're going to maximize their opportunities because they'll
get turnovers though one and done's out there, they'll get

(27:14):
more more opportunities at the baskets than the other team.
But it all depends to me and Hinges on how
good defensively can they be? Will they come together on
that end? That's the end that's been kind of disturbing
to me, Eddie.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
What do you make of the summer League? I know
it's fun, that people go to Vegas and they need
something to do before giving them money away to the
casino hos for a couple of hours.

Speaker 2 (27:37):
Right, but do you.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Buy any stock into anything good or bad when you
watch the Summer League.

Speaker 9 (27:44):
The good thing is that some guys could earn a living,
you know. The bad thing is that it's not great
basketball at night in and night out watching it. You know,
if you watch NBA basketball, it's kind of is a
step down and no disrespect to them. They're trying to
learn their way and be a short that fraternity. So
at times just like, oh, it's looking not great basketball,

(28:06):
But it's an opportunity for some guys to latch on
and get an opportunity. Before you know it, they might
have a ten year career or maybe longer or maybe shorter,
but just enough to were they able to do something
to change their family's trajectory as far as financially in
their life.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
His son has played for the Celtic. Do you remember,
do you you played in some league?

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Right?

Speaker 9 (28:29):
I did not not even we played. Now we played
in Atlanta. We had like four games in Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (28:35):
How was that experience for you?

Speaker 9 (28:38):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (28:38):
It was cool?

Speaker 9 (28:39):
I mean I went out there and hoops, and it
gave me confidence going into camp, you know what I mean,
because you know that they was putting the ball in
my hand, let me get do what I wanted to do.
Let me play a little bit and make plays and
you know, just just be myself and number one. And
so I think it just gave me confidence going to
the camp. But a camp full of veterans, I'm talking about,
Oh Geeve, you know the yeah, I'm about at Green?

(29:03):
Right If at Green is your o G, you already
know you have something.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Man.

Speaker 9 (29:09):
You know he that's a real o G right there.
He's the oldest one on there, and you know everybody
else is kind of close to that. Man, Was that
some real o gs on that squad?

Speaker 4 (29:17):
Was that story about a C Green? What do you
supposed to a virgin?

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Or whatever? When?

Speaker 4 (29:22):
Man?

Speaker 9 (29:22):
You know you know the story. I ain't got nothing
to say about that, you know, I'm.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
Just asking that, Eddie.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
What what was it like to watch your son play
in the summer League? Was that cool?

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (29:35):
No, it was cool to see him get out there
and just hoop and you know, get to it being
himself and having a good time playing basketball or not
like the over over precious of anything and just be
able to go out there and hoop. So it was cool.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
And he went to Mexico, right, yeah, he did go
to the Mexican I'm sorry. I'm sorry about that. The
Aztecs had to beat up on y'all like they be doing. Man,
I actually be asteg babe, you already know man.

Speaker 9 (30:02):
Okay, okay, so you say that, but we in the
Mount West Championship game.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
I got.

Speaker 9 (30:08):
They had to beat up on him.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
We wanted y'all to get into the tournament, man, okay,
we want all to get into the tournament. Look, you're right,
three headed monster out there, man, three guards man.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
They can get that get that money.

Speaker 9 (30:22):
Out there, man, all the time, all the time.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
All right, Hey, Eddie, always a pleasure, my man.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
We appreciate you so much.

Speaker 9 (30:28):

Speaker 10 (32:28):
I'm trashing Team USA, guys. Can we just dominate these teams?
I mean dream team. The USA basketball that I grew
up watching was waxing the floor with the competition. Eighty
four Jordan with a bunch of other college teammates were
destroying these professional athletes across the country, across the world

(32:48):
two ninety six, two thousand. Can we get to some dominance?
Not one point games, four point games where Lebron is
carrying the ball and getting a game winning, unconsistent layup
at the rim. Please just provide some dominance. Show them
why we are the best at this sport. No team
should even come close. There shouldn't be any game within

(33:09):
fifteen points. Nothing should be close in these games, and
if they are, I'm gonna call in trash every week
until I'm blue in the face.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
I like it. He ain't lying. Where's the lie? And
where's the lie?

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Because of the game that they beat over the Sudanese,
they were forty three and a half point favorite and
a half points. Are you kidding?

Speaker 9 (33:32):
Wow?

Speaker 5 (33:32):
We got Gary and Houston. You're on the our couple
with Robertie from what you got.

Speaker 11 (33:37):

big to the NBA Finals. It's been three years and
he has been back since. So I want to congratulate
CP three for beating his diction and being three years sober.
And I'm so happy you went to the Spurs. Max
will guarantee, he says, sober for the rest of his career.

brings of Michael Jordan. He'll win the batting title batting
three fifty. If it's football, he could have been a
quarterback and then it would have been an m VP
for five years in a row.

Speaker 12 (35:02):
We all know, Chris, I mean we all know, Chris. Yeah,
you were Michael Jordan slippers, Michael, Michael Jordan under ruse

about man everybody in the nineties NBA, Where does a
bunch of coke hades a bunch of overrated co kids?
My man had the nerve to say that all the
Sacramentos made up of ugly people in a terrible place
to play. He from me talking about South Saxon Man,

(36:13):
and he had the nerve the other day to talk
about the African teams Man talking about they playing and
with no shoes off, playing off.

Speaker 10 (36:20):
Peach baskets on the Third World country?

Speaker 11 (36:23):
Brother, do you not know where your where?

Speaker 13 (36:25):
Your Cuban ancestors came from fifteen thirteen, the first Africans
were forcing to labor in the Cuban minds. Man, know
your history before you start running your mouth.

Speaker 9 (36:33):
You're talking about yourself.

Speaker 10 (36:35):
Your self Hayte needs to stop.

Speaker 13 (36:36):

Speaker 14 (37:06):
You know, he's pounds and then he leads for three pages.
Hope realize as the Knickson and bos and I still
