been playing around a lot of the kids or working
on the thing in the backyard.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
You've been working one to work on him.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
You're filling a little beat up aking e stiff back, Joyce,
not cooperating with Some days your body's just like, nah,
this ain't gonna be in. And on those days, luckily
for you, there's a leave with just one pill a
lee provides up to twelve hours of paying relief so
you can keep it moving us as to erect it.
The Colts, we were just talking about this. I believe
you brought it up with you from Yeah, they've made
(01:48):
it known that Daniel Jones is gonna be their starter.
Anthony Richardson will no longer be that which this is
kind of almost an annual thing now he started, he's
not he's in, he's out, and so now they have him.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
He spoke about it.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
He was pretty professional, you know, he said, look, I've
been working hard, pretty proud of my progress, you know,
but at the end of the day, I gotta respect
what the organization wants to do me paraphrasing for him.
But he took it professionally. But this is this is
how I view this, Carrie. The Colts basically went into
this like that woman that ignored all the red flags
(02:25):
and looked at a man as a project. She said,
I can change him. But girl, he's never taken anybody
see his girl. He's always an issues. Girls, he never
has a job. And she's just all she sees is
his abs and his beautiful eyes, and she's just like,
but I can change him, Okay, And they're sitting there saying, no, girl, look,
(02:46):
these are the deficiency. He doesn't have this. He doesn't
have this, he don't have that. He won't do that,
he won't do that. He said, no, I got it.
I can change him. And that's the Colts. They looked
at Anthony Richardson, who I had only started thirteen games
you knew was a project coming in, and they said,
we can change him, just like a woman jakes On,
the man that she knows is a project. I'm gonna
dust him up, clean him up, clip his nails, help
(03:06):
him finish school.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
And then he'll be right. He's sound homeless.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
He but sometimes well you know, they say, if you
if he knows how to be good in one particular area,
he's got a shot.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
He's got a shock. And that was Anthony Richardson.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
His area was the dynamic and that he could throw
the ball flick of her wrist ninety yards. He was
obviously strong as an ox and could run. And they
took that project on and now they found themselves in
a position.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Last year.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
You remember him checking out of a game. We're like,
oh man, something wants some in. Terry's a killing his knee.
Can he bree?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
What's going on? It's something we don't know. No, I
was just tired carry rose.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Never in your life have you heard a quarterback excuse me,
you got done in the Nicknab throwing up on the
field to keep playing in the Super Bowl, Hey rich said,
real quick, go in for your boy.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
So when you have somebody who had been unproven even
in the NFL, if you combine NFL and college starts,
you're only at twenty eight.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Yeah, twenty eight, twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
You got guys like Pennix Junior coming in forty something.
Before they even got to the NFL, let alone the
few he got last year. So my final point carry
the Colts to me, had a chance to be similar
to what we see and have seen with the Packers.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
Here's what I mean.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
They could have been the AFC version where we go
from greatness of Peyton Manning won a Super Bowl, We
went twelve this back when it sixteen games, twelve and
four thirteen, three every year, fifteen to two or fifteen
to one, whatever.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
Then we go to Andrew Luck. Huh good.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Maybe you wanted more left to be desired, obviously, but
you had a good run with him until he retires.
If you get the right quarterback after that, you could
have had a thirty forty five year run of great
quarterback play, right like the Packers going from Brett to
Aaron to now Love and they missed that. They took
on the project, thought they could change him, and now
(05:00):
they are going with Daniel Jones, which good for him, right,
you know, and a good position. They got a good team,
they got some pieces offensively and maybe he can make
get his second start. But to me, I blame the
Colts and that you took your chance on this project
when you'd already had the you already had the proven
way of.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Doing it was finding that guy.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Yeah, the crazy thing about the combine and actually picking
some of these players that look the part.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
I've seen it fail quite a bit, right.
Speaker 1 (05:27):
You've had other guys come in and be high draft picks,
dominating in college and even that like dominating in college
to play games and look good on look good in
the training room, look good in the weight room, and
you think that's the missing piece and you miss out
and you without because obviously you need to see them
play against professional level talent to actually even know if
(05:49):
you got the answer right to the test anyway, Right,
So then you get Anthony Richardson out there. It's a
big unknown. We don't know what he's gonna do. In
year one, he comes out and he plays well the
first four games before he gets hurt. So like again
you kind of substantiate those those claims of man, he
might be the guy.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
He gets hurt early.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
So also at that point, now you got to give
him more time again because it wasn't because he didn't
play well, it was because he got hurt. Right, So
then you come in year two, year two, the things
start to happened creep up he's doesn't seem like he's
studying enough, doesn't seem like he's advanced on the field
as far as processing. And then you also get to
see that moment with him taking himself out of the game.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Right. Immaturity?
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Right, that's immaturity because if you knew the ramifications of
what that entails for you as a player, and you've
been through the grind, you would never make that decision
passing out. That's it, right, He would have made a
better educated decision in that case. So you know, you
have all these factors coming to playing year two, so
you know year three was going to be a make
or break year anyway, and the fact that he's not
(06:50):
getting the chance to break on the field, in my
opinion is it's kind of a disservice because if you
put all that power and investing the guy that you
think can be the guy, and with what I just
said in those post two years, knowing that year three
could be make a break and not give him a
chance to see if that works, I don't really like
that decision at all when it come. But this is
where I want to be on your side, but I'm not.
(07:12):
Yeah no, yeah, and listen, I ain't caping for Daniel Jones.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Let me be cleared.
Speaker 1 (07:17):
So let me be very clear. Let me look, Elijah,
I'm looking at this camera. Let me be very clear. Okay,
I'm not caping for Daniel Jones. Put the camera on me.
I ain't caping for Daniel Jones.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
This ain't that.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
But what I'm saying is all right, you can't be this,
and you say, what is this? I'll tell you, man,
that's blasphemous.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
You can't.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
You can't have fifteen starts and have failed to complete
more than fifty percent of your pastes nine times. I
don't know if you let me take the heap. I
don't know if you heard let me much time said
this thing on, Rob would say, you started fifteen times
in the NFL and you failed to reach fifty in
(07:56):
nine of those games. Name me their top target. Could
you just off the top of your head.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
I don't care.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
If he was throwing to me and you fifty percent,
he'd be he'd be under fifty percent, throwing the me
in you. No, don't disrepect me like I'm talking about
me too. No, I don't want to be in with
your No, you need too. I'm telling you you're gonna
beat you moment right now.
Speaker 3 (08:13):
You're in there.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
So I got hands, you ain't getting open. I can't
argue I got hands, but I ain't getting open. I
will give you that.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
I'm not done.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Go ahead, since you're trying to be a richest agent
over here, it's right what you got. He has failed
to pass for more than two hundred yards eleven of
the fifteen times.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Again, who's his target? You are about to be my target?
Who else? What else? What else he got? What else?
Speaker 1 (08:39):
He has twenty one total touchdowns? This is where I
have a problem. Okay, if you were telling me he
had twenty one passing with seventeen turnover all right, well
you know, because maybe he has fifteen twenty rushing, You're like, man,
at least I'm getting it that way. Twenty one total
to seventeen turnovers. It's almost one for one ratios. Right,
(08:59):
and again we know what the record was, not as
if he was spectacular and final point, let's just be
more relevant, I mean more recent last year specific completion percentage.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
What do you think it was? Well, you said the
only but maybe maybe it was one of those years. No,
it was no.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Forty seven and you over here trying to act like
man Steph Curry shot that from three. His passer rating
sixty one point six and his touchdown in your interception
ratio was eight to twelve.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
That means you more turnovers? Now do? Now do?
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Daniel Jones? I can't, actually, but it was funny. Imagine
I have those ready, pull it up. And that's the
point though. Go ahead, let me see so Daniel Jones,
he threw more than fifteen touchdown passes and only one
of his seasons he had twenty four as a rookie,
and he's had his best season came off, of course,
and that was in twenty twenty two where he had
thirty two hundred yards.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Remember they got on my hat one year. Yep.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
By the way, it's only fifteen touchdown in five interceptions,
but at least fifte Again, I hate this. This is
when you say who's better nas or jay z or
Lebron or Jordan. I gotta like bring down together like
I don't want to. I don't want to act like
I'm praising Daniel Jones. I'm just saying you can't be
that bad a rich annually. You can be that bad
(10:17):
your first year year and a half. Oh, it's something special.
Did you see the way you just threw that seventy
yard bomb? May see ran over three linebackers. Woo ooh,
but you can't be that bad routinely where we no
longer have any even hope. And they talked about we
even had Ephim saying there's really no neither one of
(10:37):
them really differentiating themselves. There was no huge thing. But
one of the issues they said going into this would
be also processing. Also who's getting the who's being more sharp,
who's understanding I will recall our calls are getting out
of the huddle faster, and you know this, and this
goes through you two in any of your jobs. I
tell this all my young mintees. I tell those people
(10:58):
are the job, you want to have everything in your favor.
When they get a list of applications and they got eight,
let's say it's five of them, and time in the
field are saying about five years, okay, same schools, just
about the same type of schools saying okay, okay, want
the same salary. You want to have all boxes checked
(11:19):
for sure, And if he's competing with Daniel Jones, who,
I'm sure they don't want to just naturally give it
to him as Daniel Jones.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
For God's sake. It ain't like he's you know this,
this amazing guy. But what we can't.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Turn around and do is if they're questioning the processing,
questioning the playbook, questioning getting this out of the huddle,
and because that's that one little thing that they can
go all right, we're all in the hud, this is it.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
We gotta make a decision who we going with, Who's
QB one?
Speaker 1 (11:46):
And then you go, I'm gonna go with Daniel Jones,
and your stomach turned because you gotta go with Daniel Jones,
and to me, that's Anthony Richardson.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
You want to at least you want to.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Make it hard for them to say, now me sure
showing up doing this processing great on time, leader, you
know what I mean? Understanding percentages have gone up, gotten
better year after year, or maybe game after game or
every every four weeks quarterly. But the idea that forty
seven percent, come on, man, that's bad.
Speaker 3 (12:15):
That's bad. I don't care who he's throwing to.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
Seriously, no, I know it's mean, it's very bad, yes,
but forty seven point seven.
Speaker 3 (12:24):
It's just he has he's I get it.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
He has not played a lot of football, though, Kelvin,
We've seen Daniel Jones play and I know he's not
the answer. So if that's the case, then what if
we had this conversation yesterday right like?
Speaker 3 (12:36):
It is not the same.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
Go ahead, No, I know it's not the same, But
I'm saying we had this conversation just yesterday right like
you're you're putting in Daniel Jones, a known commodity that
we know he's gonna play average football. That's Daniel Jones.
We know that Joe Flocco's starting in Cleveland. We know
he's gonna play you know, three or four like maybe
outstanding games, but the rest is going to.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Be you know, good.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Like we know that you wanted to go with the
younger guys and give them at least time to figure
it out, right, why not do that same thing with
Anthony Richardson? Because I just told you that, A, he
didn't have enough starts in college, so he's still learning
the quarterback position.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Absolutely.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Now he's in the league and he's had fifteen starts,
and it's looking worse, Harry, that's the issue.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
How is it looking worse?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Don't even just went down I know, but it don't.
I hear what you No, you're you're speaking facts about it.
It does look bad, No, it looks bad because but
what I'm telling.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
You is I'm over here.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
Yes, like Daniel Jones is that guy you are about.
That's what you're doing right now. You're trying to get No,
I'm more mad at Anthony Richardson. Just be a little better,
Just start progressing, Just start making some better throws because
you're because you're ceiling. The pop factor is there, Meaning, dude,
you threw on the greatest pass I've seen in the
(13:52):
last ten fifty years that won. He threw for like
seventy yards with his pinky in the air, just in
the air, seventy yards, boom, touchdown. Right, you're as you're strong,
but it's like, dude, if you're there and you're not
And also, what is the greatest ability availability? He's not
been available as well. You gotta factor that in. So
(14:13):
if you're not available, I would be fighting for you.
And this happens in all sports. Man bro Good, I
know he's injured a lot, but when he's here, he's
throwing for a buck eighty rushing for eighty two touchdowns.
You know, maybe eternal, but when he's here at least
I'm getting that effect. Yes, spoken like a Maverick fan,
(14:36):
it's the Porzingis effect right where you're like, I know, oh,
but man, when he's on, I'm getting twenty three, twenty four,
I'm gonna get twelve rebound block, a few shots, hit,
a big couple of big threes.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Yes, it's Anthony Davis.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
When people Anthony Davis is a top five player because
he plays both sides. When he's there and he's locked in,
but you're like, ah, is he gonna be there?
Speaker 3 (14:55):
Kyrie?
Speaker 1 (14:56):
Hey man, that's enough. That's two Mavericks. You just named
three once former two on the team right now, relaxed.
They're gonna be healthy and ready to go.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Go back.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
That don't tell they're rich. So that's my point. It's
not that I Daniel Jones. I just think they're looking
at it as at least we need somebody who's gonna
play most of the season and and and then maybe
not hurt us forty seven. Come on, bro, and you
try to you try to act like that was I mean,
(15:26):
you know who were throwing to hey, go ahead, go ahead, Robertson.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
You started this conversation by saying, Anthony Richardson, we knew
coming in was raw.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
We we had thirteen starts in Florida. Uh huh.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
Don't you think it's just bad processing? Then by Indianapolis
to be like, hey, we know he hasn't played a
lot of football. The only way he's ever gonna get
better is if he plays football.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
And now they've benched him twice. That's what I'm saying.
Before three years. I'm gonna tell you all that y'all
sound cute.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
In theory. It sounds cute, and I get it. What
you guys are under selling, I'll tell you on the
other side, it is the Okopo. Carrie Rose in for
Rob Calvin Washington on a trash talking Tuesday.

They love it, love it.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Does this group have another song or is this just
the one empire in the son Baby?
Speaker 3 (17:05):
This is it? Okay, it happens. Listen, it happens, man,
real quick. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
I was at a friend's house and they were and
they were there, the band. Yeah, and I'm such a
huge fan of the song, you know, like when you
don't you try to be cool and you don't want
to give the thing away and let the person know.
Speaker 3 (17:22):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
I'm walking away and as I'm walking away, I'm humming
the song and they I turn around there right behind me,
and I was like, ain't this.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
They were like, Jude, exactly, It's okay, that's all right,
that's all right, but no going an autograph? Great sign
your T shirt. I not want an autograph, but I was,
I was happy. Are you an autograph guy? I'm not
an autograph guy.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
No, No, nobody's signature means that much to me. You
you're autograph guy. Don't need but yes, meaning for if
there's a specific thing I'm trying to think God blessed,
say like try to think of some current but like
I was gonna say, like Muhammad Ali, I would have
got of course, like do you know what I mean
(18:01):
something like that, just just John wall for example, just retired.
If not, they need John Wallas per se you know
what's up John?
Speaker 3 (18:08):
You know?
Speaker 1 (18:08):
But so that there is a one or two, Yeah,
like I met Barry, who's my favorite athlete of all time.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Barry sources.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
But had I had something in possession in Barry that
made sense? Yes, like I have a yeah, so anyway
you get it. Yeah, But the idea of just getting
them regular, no, I'm not that. That's what I'm saying
A few I'm trying to entertainer outside of an athlete,
Like like right now, would there be somebody that you
would want their autograph?
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Maybe like Beyonce to signed the picture that I have
with her.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Okay, just because you know Beyonce say something like that, Yeah, couple,
He's Cary Rose kelvin Washington on a trash talk on Tuesday,
about twenty minutes away from that. For over forty years,
tire Reck has been helping customers find the right tires
for how, what and where they drive. Ship fast and
free back by free Road has a protection with convenience
installation options like mobile tire insulation tire reck dot Com.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
The way tire buying should be rob G before the
break you asked me.
Speaker 1 (19:01):
Essentially, you're saying, if you knew he didn't play a
bunch of football, he being Anthony Richardson if you just
joined the show. Now he's going to be the backup
to Daniel Jones, and he hasn't played the most. You know,
it's been fifteen games with you guys. Wasn't that part
of the process, right? Am I getting the question right?
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Okay, and carries over here shaking his head about to
break off don in the agreement. Here's why you both
are wrong. You can just see something and not be good.
And I think what you want to be seeing is
promise you want to be seeing, hope. What you also
don't want to be seeing is horrendous play. And I
(19:40):
want I wanted Anthony Richardson because he's so dynamic that
you want to see it. You it'd be amazing to see.
It's kind of not Lamar Jackson because he's on another level.
But I'm saying you get to see that or flashes
of Cam Newton if you will, Yes, you will.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
Doesn't want to see that. It's fun.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
I don't have any I don't have any horse in
that race. I just want to see some fun football,
of course. But when you also see horrendous plays routinely,
that's when it's problematic. Carrie, and I was just telling
you off the air we were talking. I've watched him
play and he has plays routinely, like back to back
to back where you're like, ooh, he didn't see him
(20:18):
wide open and took a sack he threw all You're like, oh,
he's wide open in the flat. He throws it at
his ankles. And he would have these plays that you're like,
all right, that's just the layup. The good quarterbacks can
make some of these harder plays, these harder passes. Okay,
you know we'll work our way to that. You can't
have horrendous plays, and he's had a sprinkle of that
four years. When I say only fifteen games, rob G, No, no, no,
(20:40):
don't talk to look at me, rob G. When you
say fifteen games and it's only what's less than a season, yes,
but he's played multiple games in these seasons. So meaning, okay, fine,
you only play three or four that season or five
that season, but during the offseason, right during training camp,
you should have gotten better four than next year for sure,
(21:00):
and he hasn't. And that's my where I'm disappointed and
concern and the crazy part about that. You're you're right,
but we don't know that. But obviously Shane Steichen does
you we don't know. You know what I'm saying, Like,
as far as year three go, we don't know how
bad he is. We haven't seen it. I'm saying. So
the team, you know, you know in year three right
now that he's well, obviously because the decision they made,
(21:22):
But you don't know, you haven't physically seen if he's
gotten better. Or it wasn't Aaron Rodgers, it wasn't even
Joe Flacco, it wasn't an old Matthew Stafford. It wasn't
even a super Bowl champion should have been two times,
Russell Wilson, Daniel Jones. It was Daniel Jones who Daniel Jones. Listen,
(21:42):
I understand, and I can't defend him as far as
his play goes. It's not even about that. You just
wanted him to be great. I wanted to be great,
and I wanted and I wanted you. I wanted to
see what year three would be like. That's it now,
my own self is reach. I don't think they also
signed a marriage license with Daniel Jones. Were like, meaning,
this is it, period all seventeen. Daniel Jones goes in
there looking bad after four games, is you know, owing
(22:04):
four to one and three bunch of interceptions turnovers? They
might just go back and they said this is literally
the final straw, Anthony. So I don't think it's the
end for him as much as just I'm disappointed that
you even had a chance, that you even were in
the position where Daniel Jones could take your job when
you were the one they drafted.
Speaker 3 (22:21):
Hi, you get what I'm saying. You had the advantage.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
If you're Daniel Jones, you're like man I'm probably not
gonna start, you know, I mean or not. You're looking
at it as it's an uphill battles. What I'm saying,
this is the guy they drafted high, they believe in.
He's had some special moments. He's you know, and you
know how teams are when we draft job we want
to ride this thing out. So if you're Daniel Jones,
You're like, I'm in an uphill battle. And so for
him to be in a position where he actually had
(22:45):
the chance to still it, I'm that's where I'm disappointed.
I hope he actually has a chance to talk to
another guy who was a number top guy.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
I think he was one or two.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
He was one, I think, and he got benched during
the season and came back and at the corner and
play really good football, and I actually think he's going
to have a breakout here this year. So I hope
Anthony Richardson has a chance to talk to Bryce Young
similar situation, like people were starting to give up one
hip and say that it was over, and he got
Benston came back after a couple of games and looked
(23:15):
good towards the end of the season, found it out.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Yeah, I'm not mad at that.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
But Bryce Young also I got to see him play
out here in California Motter Day. Bryce Young looked the
part in high school high school, looked the part in
college obviously, of course. And then you know what I mean,
So he you're more like, that's actually that. Yeah, we
thought this would be. You're looking more like what we thought.
Whereas Anthony being that project and what you're hoping. We
(23:38):
still none of us really still know. All right, we
got another quarterback who's uh, well, actually know what we know.
We'll do this when there's a team that has been
great and bad at the same time, and which one
are they going to be this year? We'll talk about
it right now. Steven Seger, he's gonna just sat on
what's trendy.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
Carry Rose in for Rob on a nice extended vacation
on this We got trash talking Tuesday, coming to about
ten minutes or so. If you have achy knees, you
gotta stiff back joints not cooperating some days.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Your body is just like nah.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
And on those days, luckily there is a leave and
of course with just one pill of leave provides up
to twelve hours of pain relief that you can just
keep moving as directed. We saw the Bengals, you and
I were kind of watching them a little bit last night,
the Bengals and Commanders, the preseason game happening there and
end up Bengals ended up winning thirty one seventeen. But it's,
(24:42):
you know, preseason, but a couple of good plays, a
couple of bag plays as well. But the larger question
is just with all that's been going on, I think
who did we talk to you yesterday?
Speaker 3 (24:50):
Was it?
Speaker 1 (24:51):
I think Tyler Dragon we had on We did, Yeah,
we talked to him USA today, NFL reporter, and we
were talking about just Trey Hendrickson and stuff that they
just were are they right now? When offensively they've got
so many guys right, they're loaded on the offensive end,
But on the flip side, we know the issue has
been defense and now Trey Henderson, who knows what's going
(25:12):
on there? They lose Hubbard and it's just they've even
lost some other players, their last signing Stewart. I mean,
do you think the Bengals are postseason bound this year
they've righted the ship a bit, or do you think
they're gonna miss it the game which would be now
for three seasons.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
Yeah, this is a hard one for me.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
Obviously, we know how talent they are offensively, and we
know that they can score enough points to possibly sneak
in the playoffs. I mean, even last year, with how
bad their defense was, they were still in the running
at the end, right they still almost snuck in. So
I think they'll be around that same place. But as
far as them, I mean, doing any damage with the
way that defense is set up right now, Man, it
(25:51):
just isn't gonna happen. So for them, they got to
figure something out. Obviously, again in this preseason game, they
didn't show their new scheme, the new things on a
run to possibly get pressure and to make themselves better.
But man, if they don't address that side of the ball,
they can end up being fourth in that division. You know,
I've talked about Cleveland. I think Cleveland's better than people
think they are. I'm not saying they're going to right,
(26:11):
I get it, I get it. But again, they can
find themselves, you know, being as high as second or
even falling the fourth and not making the playoffs. So
they need to figure something out. Man, I don't know
what they're doing with this trade. Henderson Henderson Hendrickson thing.
That's the part that baffles me. It is, I mean,
you know, you weren't great defensively last year, bottom third
of the league, but then your best defender you don't
(26:33):
want to pay You've lost another one of your better
defensive linemen, and Hubbard like it just it makes you like,
what's going on here? And it's just another year of
wasted Burrow you know. And by the way, listen, there's
no guarantee Joe Burrows and to ever get back to
a Super Bowl. No, And I hate to go full
Dawn Marino. By the way, I was just watching that
thirty for thirty on lway to Marino thirty for thirty
(26:55):
was watching that one again. But they just basically how
that all played out that first round draft. Yeah, yeah,
eight ve eighty four. I think it was eighty four,
so maybe it was eighty three. Anyway, The point is
there's no getting part of you like, man, he's too talented,
he's got well look who he has to overstep you
got the other guys, the three other of the four
headed monster ac in the AFC, right, yep, Patrick Mahomes,
(27:19):
Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, the two of them you feel
like eventually might get there, and Lamar and Josh. Then
you have those other guys that sitting on the outside.
Don't forget about me. J Stroud right there justin Herbert,
you know, are there? Maybe bo next season? Next just
make the playoffs, you know just what I'm my point,
You never know, you don't know, Yeah, just something go
(27:41):
right with the Dolphins in Tua.
Speaker 3 (27:43):
You know, just now. You took it too far. You
went way too far. You did. You did get to
farm sorry.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
And then you go to the other side. Well, even
if you get to Super Bowl, you gotta play an
NFC team. We know what the Eagles are right now.
You got the lines, you got the Commanders, you got
the Buccaneers, you got the Packers. You know, so it's
to me, it's no guarantee that they're not wasting. Joe
Burrows years that he's from Ohio, went to Ohio State
(28:09):
before he transferred and went to LSU, and he wants
to be there and in one of those kind of
a Lebron and the since I get to go, I'm
the hometown guy and there's a home state kid at least,
But how long before he's like, man, I'm out, man,
I'm ready to move on. I'm ready to go do
something else. And this new age football it can be
this year. You know, it's funny because I've talked about
(28:30):
this before the fact that these players feel that they
have a little bit more cachet and they have a
little bit more I guess, I guess financials now that
they're making decisions in the NFL, They're not like you can't.
It's not the NBA where if one disgruntled star is
on the bench and he's not playing, we gotta trade
him because he's messed up the chemistry of the team
(28:50):
and because one great player matters more in back Exactly,
if you have prime Lebron, prime Kobe, prime, Shack prime Steph.
You know, we're in the post season and we got
a chance for a ring because I have Tim Duncan exactly,
so I got to keep Tim Duncan happy, you know
what I mean, because this is this is one player
(29:11):
matters a whole lot more of the NFL totally different
outside of a handful of quarter I mean the NBA
outside of a handful of quarterbacks. Yeah, and so that's
like you right, and that's the part right like like
even like we're talking about Michael Parsons demanding the trade,
like you're not going anywhere unless they unless they allow it.
Like we don't have no trade clauses, we don't get
(29:31):
to pick where in the NFL. Like none of that
stuff matters. So the fact that you know, guys want
to do that, it's crazy. But with Cincinnati and Joe
Burrows in particular, man, they are wasting the way some
some some crazy years and crazy numbers. I'm gonna jump
out on the limb man and say, I don't think
they're gonna make it.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yeah, I hear you.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
I think they'll be above five hundred. So we got
seven teams now, right, Yeah you think because I think
the AFC West you might get, you might get three,
you might you know you can.
Speaker 3 (30:01):
I expect the Chiefs to be there, Yeah for sure.
You mentioned the Broncos and Chargers. That's not crazy. And
then I.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
Expect the the Texans, expect them the winner to sit
their division.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
Who what other divisions?
Speaker 1 (30:14):
I mean probably the Patriots Baltimore Baltimore, given, I mean,
is there another one in that?
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Do the Steelers get up in there? Dude? And you
got the I think the Patriots can win.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Their Divisionfalo yet Buffalo, I'm sorry, Buffalo win their division.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
The Patriots be a wild card. I like, I like them,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
So there's no get I don't the Bengals, man, I'm
looking at and I'm looking at their schedule. They got
some tough games. You already know your division. But dude,
like the jack should be you know, if they're looking
at it as a win. But then the Vikings could
be good. Like looking at this, the Broncos should be good.
The Lions should be good. The Packers should be good.
The Steelers are rivalry games, so who knows? The Jets
you you better get a win. The Bears should be better,
(30:54):
so you don't know. Then it's the Steelers. Then it's
the Patriots who are tough.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
Then the Ravens.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Listen, this one run right here, Ravens, Bills, Ravens black
and blue. Yeah, about to be black and blue. And
then the savior is the end of the season. This
will probably be where they're competing for the postseason. They
got Dolphins, Cardinals, Browns. That could be we gotta win
two of these three, or we gotta win out and
(31:18):
have a shot.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
It's gonna be difficult, man.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Yeah, if they can't something about it, we've already seen it.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
They're feeling real nine and eight, ten and seven to me.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
And maybe just on the outside because one team, you know,
Miles Garrett sacked him at the end in the last
game of the season, and they get out there on
third and eight and they win the game, and then
they get out the postseason. All right, it is time
for trash Talking Tuesday, eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.

my Indianapolis court.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
There you go.
Speaker 10 (33:39):
Oh man, man, I'm dregs right now. By the end
of the season, I'm gonna go bord while we've got
Richerson's because of Shane staking of what he did with
Jail Hurts. Now he's getting injured every year. Now the
game where he's say hey, I'm off.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
That's pretty much career.
Speaker 10 (34:01):
Oh my lord. Then we get Danny Dimes. Oh my god,
we're wasting the talent of Jhonathan Taylor and Nelson. Oh
my god. I just can't deal with this team anymore.
That's what I'm trying to say. Thank you.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
He appreciate the call. I can understand it for sure.
Speaker 1 (34:17):
Let's go to Orlando City and City Orlando in L Paso, Orlando,
you're on with the Akable Who are you trashing?
Speaker 3 (34:25):
Orlando?
Speaker 9 (34:28):
Arry Jones?
Speaker 8 (34:28):
Like always, I'm just so sick and tired again, just
so sick and tired of that.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
He's a net.
Speaker 10 (34:34):
He's ants okay, and he bran's about there like he
knows what he's talking about. He doesn't know what he's
talking about. You know, there's a reason why the the
Cowboys last championships are still on VHS.
Speaker 8 (34:47):
I think that's his sting, right, he thinks rewinding it
is running.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
At backs funny, that's funny. Ah, Orlando God one man,
he said that thing on VHS. He saidd rewinded tape.
Remind him what I do with that?
Speaker 3 (35:00):
Dude?
Speaker 4 (35:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (35:01):
And you know why because he because he what he
likes the pain and that I'd like the pain.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Look, I'm gonna do things my way, and my way
is terrible.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Well, he ain't lying. Let's go to Iowa Thomas and
Iowa Thomas. You're on with the hot couple. Who are
you trashing Thomas?
Speaker 9 (35:17):
Well, if it's gonna be the Cowboys or Michael Parsons,
when is the last time Jerry Jones's paying the defensive
player zero? You don't pay him, He's gonna he's gonna
prove to everybody, Hey, I didn't pay this player, all right,
I didn't give him his money. All right, he's doing
this just to say he won one.
Speaker 3 (35:36):
All right.
Speaker 1 (35:36):
What makes it weird, thank you for the call, Thomas,
is that we were talking about it earlier in the show.
Is that they came to him a couple of years
ago and say, hey, man, you know, I mean we
maybe made some trades for Micahs. He's hot right now,
Defensive player of the Year. You know, he's one of
the best young talents in the league period, in any position.
We probably get a gang of stuff for him. Now,
we don't want to do that, Okay, it's cool, al Right, Fine,
(35:58):
I guess you're gonna lock in with him and at
least we'll have that guy for the next eight years.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
Right.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
No, so you didn't get anything for him, Now, y'all
beef down. We don't know what's gonna happen. I'm like,
what what?
Speaker 3 (36:09):
Man? I just don't get it in which one is it?
All right, let's go to Mace.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Mace, you're gonna end it out here, Mason san Diego,
Who are you trashing?
Speaker 10 (36:16):
Mace?
Speaker 8 (36:17):
Lebron Jamesport like a pansy soccer player. The Stupid Decision
interview with Jim Gray in twenty ten, for threatening the
life of a police officer on Twitter, refusing to have
an interview with LAPD officer Dion Joseph, forcing Brawny into
the NBA prematurely just to stay sate your ego, and
for producing that stupid gut off and television show The Shop,
which is in the running for worst TV show of
(36:38):
all time next to Kardashians and Honey Boo. You're one
of the main reasons I no longer watched the NBA.
The NBA is straight up garbage and unwatchable. Having said that,
just do the whole league of favor and retire, and
I know your heart proving that you will not be
able to ten any more Diddy parties in the future
that you can see him very upset watching he plays
more painful than the game of Russian Roulette. Unfortunately, career
was not cut short like Jimmifer Debt. Hopefully one you
(37:00):
will mysteriously disappear. What the Marie Antoinette, Oh my.
Speaker 1 (37:03):
God, I'm all right, yeah, I told you. Mace goes off.
Oh my goodness, Rob g we got to be proud
of Mace. Lebron been playing in the two thousands. Mace
usually would go back to like nineteen seventy two, Oh
for real.
Speaker 3 (37:18):
Yeah, he'll be like Artist Gilmore. Ernest Gilmore is the
worry you back artist? Well what my artist catching stroight?
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
He's just he will go back to somebody he will
bring me, You'll be like, right, all right? Right, so
uh man, all right, I'm actually proud of him right there.
All right, So somebody is getting your number retired? Were
they the best college football player ever?
Speaker 3 (37:40):
Will tell you
