a little rob g advice coming up at the bottom
of the hour.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
House that rob Gh. There we go and we'll do that.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
You know that I was picking sixty five percent winners
and it fell against this.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
No, I saw your social media. What was that? I said,
was it on Twitter? Or when it was on Twitter? Yeah?
I said, wow, now that you would be making money
in vague. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
But the problem was I started out so bad that
I had to go sixty five percent down the home
stretch just to get us to get to like even
kind of.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
Like kel like, no, it's not like you was shechle city.
Don't ignore so the city. What he sounded like you
was city.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I came back big time, no, to finish over five
hundred for the year.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
Though.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Remember I was in a big hole. Check that's Rob's
points exactly. Yes.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
And by the way, we're tied right now, okay in
the pickups tiede And that's what we're going into that
I can't. I had to come back.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
You came come back, came back and late though, like
I did. Ain't man, I think I'm trad young a
half court Nick Chris was started in and then we
gave you some games or something.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
What do we do?
Speaker 1 (02:08):
Rob g We kind of gave him some welfare picks.
Then we early on it was idea with your government cheese.
Right then we said, like he's record for the first
couple of weeks. You said you like good times, that's right, you.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Know, sometimes it's hard out here in the streets. Man,
I'll take what I can get, all right.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Uh, let's talk about Dion Sanders and this whole NFL thing.
We do have sound from Dion talking about potentially about
the NFL and all that.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
Let's hear from Dion. But is there a chance that
you can enter the NFL? I know where you're going
to go about, right, Yeah? If I respond, you know
what we're going about, right, I know?
Speaker 6 (02:49):
Right?
Speaker 2 (02:49):
You know what? The only way I would consider is
to coach my son.
Speaker 4 (02:59):
Son sons sense, Okay, I think we're gonna go ribal
with you.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Well, I love Colorado now, I love my Buffalos. I
love everything that we're building.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
I love everything that we're doing, and I love Boulder, Colorado.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
I do. Here's a problem I have. What that? What's that?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
The the only way is that his sons have to
be on the team, and I and I do have
a problem with it. For all that he's done, all
the good stuff, you know what I mean, and and
his that's that's not the issue. It's when you try
to manufacture and put things in. Okay, So one of
your sons isn't playing well?
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Is he not?
Speaker 2 (03:47):
As he benched? Somebody's playing better? That is he benched.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
No, he's playing regardless because I'm the coach, and then
you lose the rest of the team, like you put
yourself in a very Now, if you just have happened
to be your son is a star player and you
happen to be you know, and you're the coach or whatever,
there's no issue. There's no issue when life is good.
It's when things are bad, okay. And Davonte Adams is
(04:15):
a perfect example of I want to go play and
live in Las Vegas and I want to go play
with my former college quarterback. Why a great time? How'd
that work out in Las Vegas for Davonte Adams?
Speaker 2 (04:29):
Okay? In New York. Yeah, but you get me.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
You're trying to manufacture something and it doesn't always work
out where people are trying. Well, I want to go
here and I want to Oh they just got fired.
Now now what or you know what I mean? Like that,
that's all I'm saying. Not if it happens organically and
it works and your kids are star the team, then
(04:52):
there's no issue. It's when he's not the star and
now you've got to make a change or bench or
the owner the ship wants to trade him do you
know what I'm like, like, that's the only issue I
have with it.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
Well, I think this is just a case of prime
prime in what he's doing is setting himself up for
a win win rob he's doing. I actually believe that
he doesn't have interest in going to the NFL right now.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
I don't believe it necessarily the never. I just believe.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
I think he's enjoyed being one of the top dogs
in college football.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
Went from one game.
Speaker 4 (05:24):
To I believe it was six that you know when
they got there the year before, they'd only won one.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Then they went six, then they went nine.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
He's produced a Heisman Trophy winner, probably gonna produce two
top five players in the NFL draft. I think he's
thoroughly enjoying this Colorado Buffalo run. So there's no interest
in leaving to the league right now. But if I'm
gonna throw this out here just so I can have
it my way, if it were to happen, if you
(05:51):
were to happen to draft my son or my sons,
and mind you, he has three because he thinks of
Travis Hunter as a son.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
If you have.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
One of my sons or maybe both of my sons
are all three, and you happen to have them, then,
by golly, I may come coaching.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
That's not that's not realistic. If they that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
If they're both top five picks, how in the world
are gonna be on the same team.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
Well, I don't think it has to be next year, Rob.
I think he's saying it could be two years. It'll
be three years. They get traded to it. You know,
we've seen people play together. I don't think he's saying
this season. Think he's saying hypothetically down the line, if
two of my boys are playing together, yes, I would
want to coach.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
So that's why I think he's just coach priming, entertaining.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Knowing he's gonna go viral, throwing it out there in
case a random circuit.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Okay, so one owner is gonna one owner is gonna
take that. Well, I don't think the owner is gonna.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
I don't think the owner can create where two sons
are on the same team. Come back, you know what,
go back seven eight years, whatever it was. He's LeVar Blin,
my boys, all three of them gonna be on the Lakers,
all three, all three never lost. That's what's going on here,
he's just throwing it out, creating something. Maybe Donald Lie
(07:00):
some random GM says, yo, I wouldn't mind coach Sanders
as our coach.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
We want coach Prime.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
And then they go, well, we already got Schadur or
we already got Shiloh, or we already got Travis Hunter.
And let's say Shiloh is a middling dB. That sounds
it sounds like come on, That's what I'm saying. He's
only doing that because he knows it's not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Okay, all right, by one.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
If it's one kid, now you're talking about trying to
finagle three kids, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Like like, that's just it's just far fetched, is what
it is.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
That's why I go back to LeVar bah Ball. All
three of his kids didn't make it to the NBA.
But that's why I go back to LeVar. What was
he screaming in our ears for a year or two?
All three of them gonna play with the Lakers.
Speaker 4 (07:43):
I already seen it in my dream and God told me,
I think it's a little bit of that coach.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Probably one kid didn't even make it into the league.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Yeah, but he got the hottest song of twenty twenty
five don matter. But he didn't make it into the league.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
Rob G, we're gonna be or let's listening to it?
Speaker 4 (08:00):
No coach Prime is thoroughly enjoying college because college, rob
is one place where you can become a deity as
you know that you start winning. Boy, this is why
we talked about James Franklin earlier. You can have a
job somewhere for ten, twenty twenty five, thirty years, be
the toast of the town. Literally, be the highest paid
(08:21):
state official in a state.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
He ain't going nowhere. He's about to be the king.
I disagree.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
I'm not saying ever, but he ain't gone on this
in a hurry.
Speaker 1 (08:31):
I think if there's an opportunity for him. Colorado's nice.
You know, they had a chance this year to get
into the college Football Playoff. They didn't get there, you know,
and his progress is cool. But if there's an opportunity
to move from Bowl to Colorado, I just I don't
see how how you wouldn't be interested in that.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Well, are you saying pro are you saying bigger college?
Speaker 7 (08:54):
Like?
Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (08:55):
I just think that there would be an opportunity for
him to say, let's see where I can take We
talk about it all the time. You know, we've never
had a black coach in the college. Uh, a natural
championship game? What I mean, let's think about that.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yeah, I mean never. Hold on, Well we will today.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
We will this year, right right, one of the two,
one of the So there's gonna be a play for
the first time.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
This is twenty twenty five.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Oh man, I gotta do some mathod that. Let me
play one divided by two plus three?
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Think about that.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
No, hold on, hold on, let me get a calculator,
because I divise six a calculator.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Somebody, hold on, right, you got.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
To be missing somebody, deg on it. I'm about to
count somebody as an honorary brother. Jim Harboy is an
honorary brother.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
Okay, okay, now we've crossed along somebody. Dang it crazy.
So we got one this year.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
I just I think this is uh, if there was
if this, if he was talking about one scenario one
son one, I could see that this whole idea, and
he said, and he went out of his way to
go sons.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Oh he pluralized that thing. Yeah, you know you know what.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
Also, I think he's doing rock and rob g I
think we were talking about.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
This, you and I.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
I think he's trying to make sure people don't forget Shiloh,
who they project through like a fifth, sixth round. I
think he's gonna go a little earlier because I think
he might perform very well with the combine and then
maybe go third, fourth round. But point is, I think
it's a lot of emphasis. I know y'all know Shador.
Everybody knows that Travis literally is a Heisman winner. He
looks up as you know, he looks at coach Prime
(10:33):
as a father figure. But don't forget Shiloh. So I
think emphasis on him is like, I want Shiloh to
be comfortable and in a good position in the NFL too.
I think there's a little onus on that, a little
you know, a little little fatherly touch on that as well.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
Yeah, I mean Dianna throw it out he throw it
out there. But I just it's just the NFL doesn't
work like that. And and and you heard what I
just said. If you have if they're on your team
and your dion and somebody's better than your kid, like
what are you doing now?
Speaker 2 (11:05):
Now?
Speaker 4 (11:06):
One of a few people actually do believe that would
be like Lebron. I don't believe Lebron gonna be like, well,
he just not Like if it was Lebron in this situation.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
He going, no, he's gonna have to keep playing.
Speaker 4 (11:13):
I do actually believe Coach Prime would be like, you
gotta earn it, like you gotta earn it.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Come on, baby, you gotta earn this.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
I could hear him say it, like I could believe that, Hey,
you ain't playing right now, get better, get in the
study room, get whatever you need to get going right now.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Number thirty twos in the game. I do believe he
would do that.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
But I think he's just setting it out there just
in case, by some chance, in three years, some GM
is desperate for a new coach and maybe he didn't
been in the college football playoffs a couple times, and
they're like, we want him. How can we make this happen? Well,
you know, Shiloh's out there, free agent. Go get him
to team him up with Travis Hunter, team him up.
Speaker 2 (11:47):
What should do?
Speaker 4 (11:49):
But by the way, everywhere he's gone when it was
the pee Wee's coaching, his coaching, his sons successful. Jackson
State wins two SWACK championships, goes to Colorado, they go
for one game in six game to nine. We thought
they might make the college football playoffs in two years.
Like there is a track record of him coaching and
having some success.
Speaker 1 (12:07):
Okay, and so that that's separate.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
I'm separated, I'm saying, separate from coaching his sons. I'm
saying I can see why this year, maybe next year,
if they win you know, nine, ten eleven games to
getting the cosootball playoffs, that coaches, I'm sorry, GMS in
the NFL might be like, man, this coach prime thing
may be really something to this.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Yeah, I mean, as always, I mean, guys with lesser
have gotten jobs and opportunities.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
So I'm I'm not I mean, who was it, rob G?
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Was it? I just forgot his first name, Judy with
the Giants? No, Joe Judge, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (12:44):
Joe Judge. Joe Judge was like, what was it, Judior?
Speaker 1 (12:48):
And you know, I was saying because I said many
times I'd rather have a Judge Judy than Joe Judge.
And you remember, wasn't he like he wasn't even a coordinator,
rob G. That was my point and why I brought
up Joe Jo He wasn't even a coordinator, and he
got a job coaching the New York Football Giants.
Speaker 2 (13:05):
He was like a special team assistant or special.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
Teams coordinator and wide receivers coach.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
Come on, man, how you on that on a business card?
Speaker 4 (13:12):
I know you need two business cards, but you see, Hey, hey,
flip it over, flipping over, I.
Speaker 2 (13:16):
Said, he never was a coordinator. No, hey, listen, this
is why we tell y'all it ain't what you know
about who you know crazy.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
When you get when you were in certain circles and
certain good old boy clubs and people like you, and
you you get opportunity, they throw you at ups.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
All right, here we go.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
So eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox Should the NFL?
Should an NFL team be willing to draft both Sanders
boys to get Dion as their coach? Will continue that
conversation next with you. Eight seven seven ninety nine on
Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three sixty nine.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Whether I feel like the timer was about to go
off on Jeopardy here all right, we're talking about coach
Sanders saying that the only way he will go to
the Pros is to coach multiple Suns, not just one.
And is it likely you think it's possible? Do you
think he'd be a good coach? And the Pros eight
seven to seven on Fox, So we got sure on
from Sacramento. You're on the couple of Fox.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
What's up?
Speaker 5 (15:07):
Yeah, Oh my i'le from but does mother cousin Calvy,
my brother's mind. The boys man first and foremost, man
prayers man for real. So, southern California, you know, we've
been going through wildfires up here in the North.
Speaker 2 (15:19):
Yeah, yep, yep, yep.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
Hey, the pictures are just horrific, am I right? Sean
be watching them pictures.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
It's the pictures and then seeing the devastation happen live
around cars stuck in traffic, man, Like that is wild
to me, Bro, And we've seen it out here in
the North area. But out here in the North that's
the real rural county surrounded by you know, the pine
forests and the redwoods out there, y'all are in the
middle of suburbs and big cities on fire, Bro, So
I can't even imagine. I know Rich had to run
(15:47):
off the air with Danny g in the last show.
So yeah, yep, y'all family is doing good man.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Yeah, we appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (15:53):
And saying to you guys, I know, like you said,
northern California have been going through it as well.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Man.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
It's just honestly it's just a part living in Californi
on the earthquakes, wild fire as much lies a lot
of things that other parts of the country East Coast
don't deal with, just like we don't deal with their
hurricanes and tornadoes and whatnot, freeze bra.
Speaker 5 (16:08):
Free and don't even mention them taxes. But that's a
whole different story, man.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
But Hey, I didn't want to go there. We'll be
here all day.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Hey, that's all. We're glad we got three clus kids, right, brother,
that's some instant right on this topic. Man, I think
y'all hit the nail on the head. This ain't about this,
ain't about Dyon Man Deon trying to set up all
the other Sanders children's reb.
Speaker 8 (16:30):
Tito Randy Silo. All he's trying to get all themis
once they finally get of age and are able to
get drafted into the league. And maybe a little of
that is trying to set up organizations like them terrible
raiders who feel like they just to keep.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
Taking steps back and opening up jobs for absolutely no
reasons on the future. You know, if they fire their
fourth coach in five years, maybe they don't hire the next.
Beyond Sanders of the coach.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
And that's the thing he would have it, I think
enough for in a couple of years, it would be
the Raiders would do something crazy like that, like have
one of their sons already go bringing another one just.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
To get him. That's not that's not unraided like lately Rob.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Thanks Sean, Nope, not at all. Andre Dre from Mischig, Massachusetts.
You Greg, you're in the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 5 (17:13):
Even if Hey, thanks for taking the car.
Speaker 6 (17:15):
I got to start, first of all, respect for what's
going on in Los Angeles. Uh, you know, we're dealing
with this arctic cold on this site. You guys are
blasting through, but that's nothing so uh, just respecting, you know,
trying to support, give to the different organizations you know,
Massachusetts America. Uh kind of are with you during during
this time in terms of you know, first, he's got
(17:38):
to recognize one prospect and I know parents don't want
to see this. You know, one prospect is much different
than the other. Okay, And so where should door lands
and how that shakes up for him. I think that
could set the stage for possibly him coming into the
NFL and connecting Depending on how your door does you know,
but it's not the NFL and the NBA. We got
to level set here, Okay. NBA is all player empowerment,
(18:00):
you know, where you do have that leverage. NFL it's
all about the shields, you know. So just in theory,
you don't see many instances individual players or you know,
really pushing back and forcing the hand of organizations. There
are the instances when it does happen to be a quarterback.
I'm thinking about Eli Manning, where they can kind of
guide where that player goes. But then beyond that to
(18:22):
say we're going to determine who the coach is at
In the NFL, it's just a different fall of wax.
So again, if your door can get in there and
start to have success, and Deon can continue with his
next group of recruits at Colorado, then this opens up
the conversation. But just on face value, take my kids,
you know, and then maybe you can not sure the
NFL that's going to translate over. Thanks taking the call.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
Yeah, I appreciate you. Yeah, it's a hard sell in
the NFL. Just yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:47):
I will say though, they're about two to four organizations
that do some wacky, crazy things, including one listen to
their like twelve year old son and for advice.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
So that's not the one you want to go to though.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
That's that's the ones you don't want to go to
because they nothing good happening.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
There ain't none good.
Speaker 4 (19:07):
One of them got a he Man haircut. I'm just saying,
it's some crazy organization out there.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
We got any more? No, that's it, that's all right. Yeah,
so uh we're gonna have some Rob g advice? Did
you see that? What Man's is going to update us?
But my goodness, gracious what what?
Speaker 6 (19:22):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (19:24):
What's the we're one with the offense for Penn State?
Speaker 3 (19:26):
Man?
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Just ridiculous? You see that? Yeah? I actually did.
Speaker 7 (19:30):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in

so why not take it.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
From a true professional.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
This guys, here's advice.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
I'm sorry, it's actually Rob G advice. That's right, it's
a big voice. I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (19:58):
And actually, if you follow me on Twitter at producer
rg ah my own brand, it's the hashtag friendly fade
Because you can either follow these picks, or you can
fade these picks. Okay, we're going to run this friendly
fade no matter what. As I told you, I'm picking
sixty five percent against the spread since November one. That's
pretty big. That's better than Rob Parker. That's better than
Calvin Washington. That's better than Martin Weiss.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
The first of all, didn't nobody ask you all? Okay,
you're just saying itself. Didn't nobody ask you if y'all
want to buy a boat this weekend? Oh? Look at that?
You might want to follow some of these picks. Now.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
I'm going to preface it by saying, read this stat
today we abile to do as a topic tomorrow. At
least one underdog has won a wildcard playoff game in
forty of the last forty six years. In fact, on average,
we get one and a half upsets every year in
the wildcard round.
Speaker 2 (20:49):
I believe that.
Speaker 3 (20:50):
So key, I'm letting you know I got it. An
upset coming up here in one of my favorite picks. Okay,
game number one though, this is one I like. Steelers
lost four straight. They look terrible. Russell Wilson may or
may not even be back in Pittsburgh next year with
the way he's laid down the stretch, Lamar Jackson playing
out of his mind. Rob Parker's just you know, covered
himself in baby oil, expecting an MVP coronation. But Lamar
(21:16):
still one in four in his last five against Pittsburgh. Guys,
give me the Steelers plus ten. Are they winning the
game or they covering?
Speaker 2 (21:26):
No? I want to, I just want to they're covering this?
Speaker 5 (21:29):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (21:29):
All right, all right, Steelers plus ten? Okay?
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Dan, they got them getting Smiths at Oh no, it's
a it's a missmat cauld. You imagine being a ten
point underdog right in a playoff fictional opponent.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
I mean that's you beat earlier. But that tells you
where they are and where Rob g I hear you.
Speaker 1 (21:50):
But the Ravens, like in their last what are six games,
they're they're averaging something like seven seventeen points for the
uh uh different rental.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Isn't it like seven?
Speaker 3 (22:03):
None of those blowoffs was against Pittsburgh?
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Am I right? Though? Isn't it like seventeen points something
like that? That's why Vegas? But you think Vegas wants
to give away ten points? That's crazy? Ten point? No,
I'm taking. I'm taking the Ravens now.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
This is now, this is you're doing, We're all taking.
I'm taking the Ravens. But what I would say, Flowers,
I ain't gonna lie. I got me a little nervous
just because what he represents, what he brings to that offense.
So that does have me a little nervous. But I
just think that the Ravens on a roll right now.
And uh and obviously the Steelers are going the opposite way.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
So give me the Ravens, all right.
Speaker 3 (22:34):
Game number two of the Friendly Fate here aka Weis's advice.
This one's a rematch from Week one. People even remember
these twodes played each other in Brazil Week one, Eagles
and the Packers. That was the one that Jordan Love
hurt his knee. We thought he might be out for
the season and came back, came back back. Here's the
thing going into this game, Jordan Love is hurt again.
(22:56):
This time it's an elbow injury. He's questionable to play.
Everyone's expecting he's gonna to gut it out. But if
you're a quarterback and you don't have a good elbow,
that seems kind of important to me. So even though
Jalen Hurts is coming off concussion. I trust their offensive lines.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
It's like the.
Speaker 1 (23:12):
Thus, if we didn't have thumbs, we would be exact,
would be apes right, we wouldn't be able to pick
up a pencil.
Speaker 3 (23:18):
So with this one, I think the Jordan Love injury
is huge. Christian Watson out for the season with the
torn a c L. I like the Eagles minus five
against Green Bay.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
I like, I like the Eagles to go ahead. You
could go, well, no, we're on the same page. I mean,
I I don't like like like the Eagles, like like
I think a lot of people do.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
Jalen Hurts.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
Uh, this issue with Jayler Hurts because they went on
a little longer than I anticipated.
Speaker 8 (23:42):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
But yeah, Jordan Love, that's just something that I'm not
buying about. The losing or speed receiver. You're banged up.
I don't like that for the Packers.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
No, I like the Eagles. I know Jalen Hurts will
be just fine. And then they got Sa Kwan two.
Speaker 8 (23:57):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
That's a big part of that offense as well. So
I like the Eagles. I like that all right.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
Game number three, This one's featuring my arch nemesis Robbie
know what I'm talking about Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
So you said that it was over four years ago.
I thought he was going to be on the Big
twelve network at this Yes, and apparently he does Colin
talk about Baker anymore. No, that's all. Yeah, that was
really yeah. He was hard on him. He was banging
on him big time. All right.
Speaker 3 (24:25):
So in this one against the Washington Commanders, everyone loves
Jaydon Daniels, but the big store life to me in
this one is this. In thirteen games head to head,
Mike Evans is averaging just two catches for forty three
yards per game going up against Marshawn Lattimore. Marshawn Lattimore
is playing on his Sunday for Washington.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
So with that in mind, this is my my upsuck special.
Thank you, JT the Break. Give me against one more time, JT.
That my up suck special. That's nice.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
I never missed JT the Break. Oh sorry, I love
I love Looney say that. Give me the Commanders outright
against Tampa. This is the upset of the weekend that
I want you go once.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Again trying to legitimize your bad take on Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
He gonna ride right.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
You know he's gonna rock keep riding it. I'm sorry,
I'm all with Baker, and I don't see it. I
don't see Washington had a really good year. They are
about four different three four plays that happened for them.
They wouldn't even be in the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
That's right. I'm going with Baker Mayfield. I'm sorry, I
made right, but I'm still riding it.
Speaker 4 (25:38):
Yeah, yeah, I do like Washington a little bit higher
up on them than you are, Roight, But I think
Baker that offense, I think they keep it rolling. I
think they get you know, they just they got they
know how to score a bunch of So give me
Baker and the revamp's career.
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Of Baker Mayfield. Rob G put some respect on his name,
respec with a K.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
You guys are gonna have to pick one upset, because
one's gonna happen, So hopefully you guys have one right.
Here we go, Game number four of the Friendly Fade.
This one's pretty easy. I don't even got to explain it.
Buffalo Bills ain't no at home this season, winning games
by an average margin of victory of seventeen points per game.
Now they get bo Nick's rookie quarterback. Last time we
(26:17):
saw a rookie quarterback in the playoffs like this, Mac Jones.
Speaker 2 (26:20):
That what happening?
Speaker 3 (26:21):
And they lost by forty Buffalo minus nine against Denver Man.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Stealing for Buffalo.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
It's a little I might want to you know what
they cover, they lose, but they cover the Broncos.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
I'm going with the upset. Yeah, this is my upset. Yeah, no,
you outright, you're taking dom Ryant. I'm gonna hate Sean
Payton sah my gosh, look at a new Year, New year.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Rob Hey, every so often you gotta throw a curveball,
Rob g there is going to be an up.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
Throw an Kertshaw curveball. I'm so hard to believe that.
The Broncos going. All right, I can't do it. I
can't well, I said, going to cover. I'm rescinding it.
I can't do it. I knew it. I knew it.
You didn't have it doing it. You didn't have it
any ron. I just did his eyes. He didn't have
it in his eyes.
Speaker 8 (27:16):
Right.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
You know, I like to do go off the beaten path,
but I can't even get there. All right, here's the
last one, you bet. Rob's upset. I'm not gonna go
through all six games.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
We don't got time. Here's my last one of the
friendly fade. Unfortunately, this game should have been paid in
LA and it's going to be played in Arizona now
because of the Fires Rams against the Vikings rematch of
earlier in the season.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
The Vikings have only lost the two teams this season.
One of them has been the Rams.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Everybody loves Matthew Stafford, Sean McVay, Pookakua, Cooper Cup.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Who's the favorite though? An't the Vikings.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Vikings are two point favorites. Now it's a neutral site.
That number might whip the threes. If you want to
get it, you gotta get it now. Here's the problem, though,
Ever since that Showcase showdown against Buffalo, the Rams offense
when they play because we get team Rocking Acount and
none of the guys played, They're averaging fourteen points a game.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
They damn struggle.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
You are gonna have to put up at least twenty five.
You're gonna be my guy. Sam Donald future multi millionaire
Sam Donald future Vegas Raiders quarterback Sam Donald, Baker.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Mayfield somewhere like why you ain't feel like that? About
me exactly, no doubt he was ready to held this
kid me.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Minnesota the neutral site, you can get it now, get
it now? Minnesota minus two against the Rams, Yeah, I'm
going Minnesota.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
I just think they are teed off the way they
lost their line because they could just lose.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
That'd be one thing. I don't think they liked how
they lose Hi. And also being now the neutral site
changes a lot.
Speaker 4 (28:50):
So I'll give me the Vikings and I think I
do think it'll be relatively close though.
Speaker 1 (28:55):
Yeah, I'm gonna take the Vikings and I think they
win by ten. I just don't think the offense for
the Rams just has been bad. I mean they really
have been bad. What was the other game they won against?
Was it against the forty nine ers? Would they have
four all field goals? All field goals? And then the
next game they only had like one touchdown.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
It was twelve points against the Niners. What do they
call the monsoon? So they got an excuse, sparently. The
next week they played the Jets.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
The Jets suck.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
They scored nineteen and seven of those game on the
short field, right, that's what. The week after that prime
time against Arizona, they I was thirteen.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
I forget, yeah, that was it. I just know that
lately they've been struggling offensively. So that was the Dodgers
versus the Diamondbacks. That was terrible. So just saying, if
you want to make some money. So Rob Barker, you
didn't pick any underdog.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
We got a couple more games. I mean, we can
do it if you want to get into it round no, no, no,
we got one other game we got when we got
Chargers Texans.
Speaker 2 (29:52):
You had a Chargers Texans. Now, who's a favorite? The
charge text Chargers minus three on the row.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
See uh. And I'm not that big on a Texas
this year or not. You haven't been. There's gonna be one, Rob.
You know what when I'm gonna take tomorrow, I'm gonna
take the Texans. I'm gonna tell you why home underdog, Yes,
a home underdog and the the just haven't beat anybody.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Come on, Manty, they have their right could against teams
over five hundred isn't good through the math. Seriously, they've
won a lot of games, Rob, g you'll do the
you'll do the look up teams over five hundred, they're
barely they're like maybe a game or two under five hundred.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
I just don't like where C. J. Stroud is right now.
Speaker 7 (30:40):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (30:40):
And I don't think the offense is enough for the Texans.
Uh right now, I just don't think it's enough. I
don't know if we really picked that game or not.
We're just talking about it.
Speaker 3 (30:49):
I mean, like I said, your picks are not locked
into the big skin pigs tomorrow. All right, that's just
giving you fair warning. You better have at least one
out right up side.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
That's got to be you're gonna lose, because it's not
like that there would be no Las Vegas of all
the favorites, one right right, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Every playoffs.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
By the way, Lamar Mitchell's listening, he says, tell the
guys make their bets. Bet MGM, we'd love to have
them there you go. So I'm telling you that he
thinks you guys are not going to win.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Hold on, hold on, Lamar. First of all, we still
got a day to think about it. Lamar, Okay, settle down.
Speaker 2 (31:19):
I got a new restaurant they're trying to build at
the MGM. And he just said, hey, whenever you guys
want to put that down.
Speaker 4 (31:25):
See now now I bet you see now I'm about
to go four and one or something over the weekend.
Watch just from all that, just for that, lamar, all right,
there have it. Shout out to Martin White. We wisteing
him the best, obviously getting a lot of people not
playing in this game or no, no, man, you talk
about a snooze fest right now.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
Oh my goodness, gracious, they can't get anything going. What MAZZI,
don't worry about You ain't got none. Update it's three nothing.
Who's pitching in this game? You update this one? All right?
Kirk Cousins is the highest paid. We'll tell you what
that is.
Speaker 4 (31:56):

(33:29):
All right, Rob, I just want to throw this one
out here. So the Atlanta Falcons have said the general
manager says that they're comfortable with Kirk Cousins being the
backup quarterback to Michael Pinnix Junior next year. And at first,
you know, it's like the contra fect Wow, Oh, they
should have drafted Pinnis in the first place. If they
(33:52):
knew that Kirk Cousins, or maybe they should have never
get kirk Cousins. I just simply want to applaud kirk
Cousins agent. I don't think he should be the quarterback.
I think they knew his ceiling. I think Michael Pennix
had a really nice college career and had an opportunity
to be the good in the league.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
Why not roll with that? Now, that's what they're gonna do.
But Robert started to look at some numbers. Listen to this.
Speaker 4 (34:19):
Kirk Cousins, as of last month, has made how much
do you think total earnings?
Speaker 5 (34:26):
Rob?
Speaker 2 (34:29):
I know you got seventy five, Mom, say three hundred.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
Well you're almost spot on, my friend, right, because I'm
one hundred and ninety four million.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
I just did the match because I remember when he
got the seventy five. I remember when he got the
one hundred something. Yeah, ninety five, Okay, and they broke
through Penn State. Finally, my goodness, crazy.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Two hundred and ninety five.
Speaker 4 (34:50):
Do you know that he's on pace right now that
by the end of the year, next year he should
have be third place all time to pass Tom Brady
in career earnings. He could top four hundred million dollars
if he goes through the rest of this four year
deally he has with the Falcons. Kirk Cousins, who has
had a fine career, who has been a fine quarterback,
(35:14):
he's done well, he has nothing to be ashamed about,
but four hundred million dollars.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
So now he's just gonna be sitting on the.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Bench, collecting checks, clapping it up, getting Gatoray for Pennis,
obviously coaching him up in the film room.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
But that is just crazy to me. So the minute
you're you thought you were feeling bad for Kirk Cousins, please.
Speaker 4 (35:36):
Don't do that because I don't know if he's got
Jared McGuire as his agent, but he has won. Listen,
he played a long career, His hat's a little bit
of playoff success.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
Now he's got four hundred million dollars at the end
of his career. I ain't ay. He ain't getting no cries,
no tears for me. That's crazy. No, it's about time me.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Circumstances, situations being a quarterback, so many teams. We talk
about it almost every night, that teams are so desperate
for a quarterback, even a guy in his situation who
hasn't won anything, you know, continues to get signed and
continues to make money, big.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
Time, four hundred million dollars. But I do think they
made the right decision. I think Michael Pennock showed enough
that he looks like he's go.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
Didn't make the playoffs though, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (36:28):
When they didn't make the playoffs because of Kirk Cousin,
that's I mean.
Speaker 2 (36:31):
He was.
Speaker 1 (36:31):
I'm just saying, though that was a risky change at
that point, it still was to me. I even I'm
just saying, you don't you don't like for the first
year coach, and you know what I mean, like not
not to make the playoffs when they're in that situation
or that close or with that chance, because you went you.
Speaker 2 (36:50):
Could catch light in the bottle.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
If you put in the rookie right and he did
something and you made the playoffs, then you jumpstart his career.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
But I'm just saying, you don't give up a roight rob.
Speaker 4 (37:01):
This man had for the last five games of his
career interception interception, two interceptions, one interception.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
Uh, bro, come sit next to me, but you clearly
don't see the same game I'm seeing. Come on over here, Kirk,
I get it.
Speaker 1 (37:13):
But the money that you're paid and he's not going anywhere,
and the chances because actually when they finally decided to
bench and he actually finally had a decent game, that
was the no.
Speaker 2 (37:22):
Come sit down.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
The money i'm paying you, I'm going to pretend I'm
playing Panick so it'll even out. I'm gonna split it
in half, so I'm paying you all fifty million dollars
twenty five to twenty five. I'll make it. I'll feel
a lot better about it if I look at it
that way. Rob all right, forty nine ers. Speaking of money,
it might be time to pay somebody, or maybe not.
