of years ago.
Speaker 5 (00:53):

Speaker 4 (00:59):
But I'm another another birthday coming.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
I'm very thankful.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
So that way, let me do the math. That's so
your birthdays on a Saturday, Saturday, Yeah, Saturday birthday.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
You gotta do something, bro, I might get drunkly. What
do you think?
Speaker 4 (01:13):

Speaker 6 (01:14):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (01:14):
Why not you get you know, some people get a
birthday weekend. I think you get a birthday year.
Speaker 6 (01:18):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:19):
I just I know, I hear people do that. Oh,
it's my birthday week, my birthday month. Man, I'm like,
like women will do that. It's my birthday, it's my
birthday month. I'm like, all I want to do is
just chill out, have a good time. I had the
big birthday for the sixties, so I'm good, you know
what I mean. Seriously, I'm I had a I'm not
(01:41):
saying you doing you. You're too playing, you're too calculated,
you got something up your sleep.
Speaker 7 (01:48):
You're just gonna ki have the misses come through, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
Yeah, I'm gonna I already know him.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
I'm gonna go get a steak, baked potato, maybe broccoli
because I'm a little healthy.
Speaker 5 (02:00):
I don't know, spend it some iceberg lettuce.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
No, I'm doing better than that.
Speaker 7 (02:04):
Okay, don't you listen to me. It's butter lettuce.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Now, it's but hey, I'm gonna go get a pack
of twelve cupcakes and bring y'all four and eat another one.
Speaker 5 (02:13):
So really, y'all only have three?
Speaker 4 (02:15):
I can't believe that. So Elijah posted that on social media. People, yeah,
all over the map with that.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
That's my kind of repost. That's why I reposted. I
don't want to hear no take about bow Nicks.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
That's what I want.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
I want to hear.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
I want to hear Rob Parker telling us how he's
bringing us cup Gone brings in six, Alex, it takes
another one, so that means you a seven of the twelve.
Speaker 7 (02:36):
Bro seven in under twenty four hours.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
It's crazy, but they were good. Oh my good, Oh god,
oh god, it's right.
Speaker 7 (02:43):
I woke up with one on the side of my cheek.
I had to eat it.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
And I'm about eating who was gonna eat it?
Speaker 7 (02:51):
And Calvin the stuff to my back? Was it the cupcake?
Speaker 5 (02:54):
Oh god, it's my baf too. I left for right
on the nights there? What are you? Derek Jeter?
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Come here? What a party? Gift party?
Speaker 7 (03:07):
That's why what Rob's favorite is. Come here, schnoockems, come here,
snook the boo wow.
Speaker 4 (03:14):

Speaker 3 (03:51):

Speaker 4 (03:51):
We'll be down with the King in about twenty five minutes.
That's right, Sean King, the former NFL quarterback, Fox Sports
Radio NFL analysts. And I do want to say we
got a nice compliment about our show. I sent it
to Alex. You don't have that, do USTI or No?
It was in your phone body.
Speaker 7 (04:10):
So let me check real question.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
It was.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
It was nice and uh I sent it along to Alex.
Speaker 8 (04:15):
Yes, Savage, Yeah, just read it. So shout outs to
Craig Wheeler. He said, Hi, Robin Meddi no ya. I'm
a big fan of your show and you constantly cracked
me up. The sound drops are a thing of beauty. Well,
thank you, Craig, and wish you all the best and
continued success.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
Very nice.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Hey, that doesn't sound like a compliment to our show.
It's like a compliment to you.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
I can't bringing you a compliment to the show, even
though it was all pointed at me from Phil at
the dentist office today, dagge, I want some more me
and your compliments.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
It was it was a compliment to to Alex, not
really me. It was it was about to drop Alex.
You're a hitt and talent. Pay no attudtion to that man,
mind the curtain.
Speaker 5 (04:54):
But people have told you man, people love the show,
brother man. Thank you to everybody.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
No, everyone that called and Dagnar had me in tears.
Yesterday was that yesterday? Two days ago? Named Tim called man.
That was a shout out to Tim. Hopefully he's listening
and all the other thousand that was.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
That was a really nice one.
Speaker 8 (05:09):
So Chris on Christmas called in or Brandon was Brandon
that call him? Said how he has no family, so
he was really thankful.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
Yes, that was on Christmas. That was very nice.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
And we appreciate the odd couple listeners, the odd couple
odd mob on YouTube. I don't know. Lee scour and
see if they're on the YouTube. If there's any comment
you want to jump in with us? Uh later on
all right, let's go here. And you got a problem
dude with old miss and the whole Lane Kiffin.
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yeah, I got some separation what's your smoke.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
My smoke is with always dipping Lane Kiffin.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Now listen, you and I argued, I don't know, two
three weeks ago whatever, the whole thing broke out between
him dipping on the old Miss and going to LSU.
And my take was simply, dude, the grass ain't always greener.
He is the most grass looked greener person I know
Rosie glass colored glasses.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
Every day. Lewis looks right, the lot's right there, lot's
greight there.
Speaker 1 (06:01):
You know the track record dipping on Tennessee after a
year right, going to USC, screwing that whole program over,
getting them in more sanctions, and all of that messed
up with NC DOUBLEA getting fired on the tarmac. I
can go on and on and on. And the thing
about this old miss you came there, to his credit,
you worked hard, turn this program around, got him in
(06:22):
a good position, and then you dip again for more money,
greener pasture, maybe heavy on the maybe perceive more opportunities
at LSU. I understand it's LSU. It is a blue blood,
but you're literally there. You have a chance, which would
have had he been there, to go to the NC
DOUBLEA Championship College Football Championship.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
You never know what can happen. Now, It's one thing.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
If you move on, right, Fine, you want to move on,
You're going to another school in SEC which is why
Old Miss is like, nah, bro, we're not gonna let
you coach through the playoffs.
Speaker 5 (06:53):
We'll move on.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Then you have to nerve to call ESPN and say, hey,
you want me on the show?
Speaker 5 (07:00):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Can I come on the show? Hey while you're during
the broadcast of the Old Mits Georgia game.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
I can be there. I can be there. Ain't ain't
about you no more. Move on, sir, Go to Louisiana
State University. Go do your thing there.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
Don't try to pop up on the Dad Gold channel
when my team is playing.
Speaker 5 (07:17):
While we're competing hard, while we're.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Trying to win some games, and make it about this school,
our new coach. We're trying to make it about us,
and here you go. Always. Just like Shue Knight says
about Diddy trying to have a producer all in the
video dancing in the videos, that's Lae Kevy go away
and I love that the smoke he got for some
of his ex players when he was like, oh it's
so hard. I didn't want to leave it all that stuff.
(07:40):
The players were like, hey man, we don't know about
none of that. We said, go ahead, get up out
of here. We wasn't begging you and crying to stay.
And now you got some more of his own players,
former players talking about him. One of the defensive tackles,
Xavion Harris said, and I quote it was a slap
in the face the way he played us trying to leave.
And he goes on to say, I feel like he's
trolling us. He's trying to steal the shine, trying to
(08:00):
steal the spotlight from us.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
So I'm just over Lane Kiffin.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
I'm root for Old Miss because I hope they mess
around to win this national championship.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
And he ain't a part of it.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
And he goes to lsu ya a Het wins games
he should, he's there, but never wins a championship, never
gets to a title game, and Old Miss will have
one and that they can say we did this without you, bro.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
So you got Ole Miss winning the national championship.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Is Indiana winning it, but I'm rooting for Old Miss.
Indiana's winning it, but I'm rooting for Old Miss.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Okay, My my point is Uh.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
The reason that Lane Kiffin is still relevant when it
comes to Old.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Miss is he's built Old Miss? Are you kidding me?
That program?
Speaker 4 (08:38):
If it wasn't for Lane Kiffin and the coaches that
he brought in, he could have stripped the team of everything,
taken the coaches with them. They're all going to LSU
with him and they're still there. So so you act
like he's he put it together. He recruited the players,
he came up with the scheme everything. He didn't just
(08:58):
go to Old Miss for one or two years. He
was there for I think six years. He's been there.
He put in the work. Dude, don't get there quit
rob Yes.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Cause you don't pass up to your dream job. You
sit here and you're so let.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
Me tell you something, Kelvin, you're so full of it.
If they came along. How long you been at Spectrum now?
Speaker 5 (09:17):
Seven years? All right?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
And then for CBS say, come on, we're gonna have
you do the morning show, even though it's a bad network,
we're gonna have you doing it the morning show on
CBS network.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Yes, don't tell me you're gonna be there.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
You gonna be like, oh, I came to Spectrum, I'm
not gonna, dude, stop it.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
I think you name seven years we'd have took over
l A.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
No, you see on the streets one of the warst
host of the year.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
You know that. That's don't play with me.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
That's the only reason, because they forced the channel.
Speaker 4 (09:50):
When I turned off, Spectrum automatically golds the spectrum one
in the morning. It's the most annoying thing in the
world I watched any other channel. I love waking up
to Kelvin. Oh man, It's like that's right right in morning.
(10:11):
I would stood over, I would.
Speaker 5 (10:12):
Prow these cupcake crumbs out the bed.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
I would throw up in my mouth if I have
to wake up to you every morning. What all I'm
saying is is you cannot look at old miss and
where they are and not give Lane Criff Kiffen his credit.
He's the one who built this over these last six years.
He's the one who brought the players and the recruits.
(10:36):
He's the one who hired the coaching staff. Come on, man,
and I get it. The way college football is set
up in the time schedule, Sure would he have loved
to have waited and the coaching uh, you know, carousel
doesn't start until after you know what I mean, after everything.
Sure he would have he didn't develop this. This is
not his way or what he wants. But LSU has
(10:58):
to have their coach in plays because of the transfer
portal open today and you gotta get players, you gotta
have a coach in place. That's why people rush to
go hire a coach rather than take their time, because
you can't get players if you don't have a coach
in place.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
It's not his fault. Why it's not let Lake let
me Okay.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
I hear everything you're saying, and you and I both
agree on the schedule.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Not here, it's not he didn't make the schedule.
Speaker 5 (11:24):
But here's where I disagree. You don't have to.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
You can say the whole point of me being here
and hiring and doing all this recruit was to get
to the point to compete for a national title.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
Championship, winning on national championships. So you can with all
that well, and.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
The team everybody would have is Georgia. Ohio State's out.
It is literally wide open now. And I've said before
they started that I thought Indiana just because how great
they've been the last two seasons and the way they
convinced Indiana's gonna win.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
Okay, what ain't nobody gonna win?
Speaker 1 (11:54):
Accordional, Eastern Michigan, go win, South Central, Hampton, cop Connecticut.
Speaker 5 (11:58):
Wherever you would on that.
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Are they gonna win this thing? My goodness, Indiana has
a great show. That's who I picked a winning just
based off like opinion, when you.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
Pick this, when do you pick this?
Speaker 1 (12:10):
I'm gonna say that for the like the last three
or four weeks, I just think that there's really flawless.
They got the best quarterback in college football. Defense is incredible.
Speaker 3 (12:18):
I'm just saying.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
But but my point is, why do you I don't
understand why he had to go. If you're that great,
which he has been, got this team up to a
great situation, you kill him that This isn't a knock
that as if he's a whack court coach. That's the point.
You got here, You worked hard, you rebuilt your your reputation.
He's even admitted he had to you know, he had
(12:41):
to go through some things, and he even admitted I
needed old miss as much as it needed me. He
said that his own words got there, rebuilt his image,
rebuilt everything, rebuilt the program up and now you've got
a chance to do this and you leave when the
it's like building.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
It all up for a note. Well, I don't want
to say that, you know what I'm saying, doing all
that not finishing the job. If you know what I'm saying,
what are we doing here?
Speaker 4 (13:03):
And I just don't have to leave. But there's an opportunity.
L s U is one of those schools. Even Nick
Saban went there, uh like like that's the school you
want to go to, and he moved on and went
to Uh.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Nick Saban was at a number of schools.
Speaker 4 (13:21):
And if you can move on and get into a
situation where the money's bigger, the people, uh, the people
from that school, the athletes want to play there.
Speaker 3 (13:30):
There's a lot of things that don't win.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
We don't win.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
All those coaches are gonna be right. We along with
him because he's the one who brought them the old.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Miss And now they want to all stay because they
technically the the they're not staying the coming up, they're
not staying after no, no, no, no, I'm not talking about
to see. I'm saying they want to stay and do
the whole ride to see. Oh shoot, maybe we might
make the national championship.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Game, and then after they lose the next game, then
there will be the end of that conversation will stop.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Now you're about to make me even say forget Andyana
now and Hope Miss go ahead and get this thing
done here so I can say ha to Lane Kiffin,
always dipping Kiffin, and then they can mess around and
win and he never win the LSU and he can
be good, he.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
Can get the gospel. Bob Well, he ain't gonna.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
Win eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
Kelvin is tired of Lane Kiffin even though he built
the Old Miss football team.
Speaker 5 (14:19):
Just stick around to seeing we gonna win.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
Rab All I'm gonna say is I don't blame him.
He should still be getting spotlight. It is his team,
he developed them, he recruited them.
Speaker 5 (14:30):
He's his coaching me.
Speaker 4 (14:31):
On the show Espny, it ain't about Old Miss, It's
about Lane Kiffin. He's the bigger star in this Who's
the biggest star? Lane Kiffin on the on the Football
Team of Old Miss? Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.

Eric In Austin, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up?
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Eric?
Speaker 6 (17:14):
What up? You guys? Do it? Man?
Speaker 5 (17:17):
You are the Fox.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
That's right.
Speaker 10 (17:22):
Okay, So listen, Look, Kelvin, I'm not even saying like
I disagree with you, but I got saw Rob on this.
Speaker 6 (17:29):
Here's the deal.
Speaker 10 (17:30):
It's not like old miss really gave Lane that much
of a suite. They gave him an ultimatum and they
backed him into a corner and he made the bestiness right. Listen,
there were other head coaches, other teams let other head
coaches who accepted jobs at other schools finish the season.
They don't Lane to get out, but they let Charlie
wipes off as the coordinator say, it's also going to
(17:51):
l s U. That doesn't make any said exactly.
Speaker 5 (17:56):
Let me tell you. Let me tell you why.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
It makes Eric rush because they because they said, bruh,
it ain't like you took a job at Utah since
their coach is now Michigan or something like that.
Speaker 5 (18:06):
You went to Michigan. Yeah, you about to go right
down the road. You about to go right down the road. No,
he's off it.
Speaker 10 (18:14):
Go ahead, go ahead, Ken, Like why like I hear
you listen, I'm not even necessarily old Miss for even
doing that, but I'm just saying you.
Speaker 6 (18:22):
Can't be mad either.
Speaker 10 (18:23):
Way, right and again?
Speaker 6 (18:24):
Okay, yeah, Lane is.
Speaker 10 (18:25):
Going he's taking Charlie Wis's off, this cordinator within him.
Speaker 6 (18:29):
You don't think he's in there trying to post.
Speaker 10 (18:30):
Players too, Like, why would you let him back in
the middling?
Speaker 6 (18:32):
Right?
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Because I'm gonna tell you why I eat this last night.
I gotta have somebody with some continuity. Dangy, we about
to win the national championship and I need somebody to help.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
Coach my guys up.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Get out of here, Lane, Kevivin and don't I out
the door. Hit you with a good Los splitcher.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Hey, Andre in Massachusetts, you're on the couple of Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
What's up, Dre?
Speaker 6 (18:53):
How you doing?
Speaker 11 (18:54):
Thanks for taking a call. Listen, this whole situation with
old Miss, it's not about Big Daddy Kipvin. Okay, he's
got a step to the side. He got to give
a little bit of time right now for the student
athletes to shine bright and compete for the national championship.
So even though point is taken right, old miss what
were they a distant outpost? Last time we heard from them,
(19:14):
wasn't Eli the quarterback?
Speaker 5 (19:15):
You know?
Speaker 11 (19:16):
And in the day they had is Dak and the
old Miss guy I believe, so, you know, but they
haven't been in the mix until.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
Late for a long time. For a long time.
Speaker 11 (19:24):
Yes, okay, so big Daddy Kiffin comes through after he's
bounced around to a couple places and brings them back
up in the prominence. But right, what did Dennis Green say?
I wanted to say this on the previous segment. Okay,
they are He is who you thought he was. So
just like he bounced from Tennessee, all right, he's ready
to go the first sign of opportunity. So it shouldn't
even been a question. They suspended him, did all that stuff.
(19:45):
They knew what time it was from the jump LSU
came with the Daddy Warbuck, he was out and end
of discussion. But bottom line, end the story. It's about
the kids right now. I don't think anybody and this
is you're gonna talk about mister Signetti.
Speaker 6 (19:58):
You ain't getting past Sticknetty this year.
Speaker 11 (20:00):
As far as I'm constructed.
Speaker 6 (20:01):
Nobody again.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
Drake Drake Drake Drake Dray, I like your your your
thought on things. You know you're a friend of the show.
Let me, don't you think that's whack that he wants
to get on ESPN at the game.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
He built the bay, he'll be, He'll built the team.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
He better you don't get out of here and go
put on some LSU colors. Don't nobody want to hear
from you no more?
Speaker 4 (20:20):
If any if anybody has any insight about the team,
of course it's him.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
Come on, Andre, you know that he put the team together.
Those are his players. He has insight. That's why they
want him on.
Speaker 5 (20:32):
Yeah, it's not like he retired five years ago. Sure,
come on in.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
At that point you already know this is an awkward situation.
Now you want to go stop making it like gray?
Thank you, my man, appreciate the call.
Speaker 6 (20:43):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (20:43):
Sick of it?
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Right Rocky in Greenville, South Carolina, you're on the couple
of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (20:49):
What's up a.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Good good evening, guys.
Speaker 6 (20:53):
Look, I'm over Lane. I've been over Lane kissing forever.
And and however, I do think he's the biggest star and.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
I hate it for the kids, and they got a
whole miss and they got a pretty good quarterback.
Speaker 6 (21:03):
But here on social media hold in hand with Kim Mulkey. Yes,
in the basketball game. And also he's getting paid by LSU.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
For every two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
Speaker 6 (21:15):
Yep, I mean you know that.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
That's just you're not signing that deal. Rocky. Come on, man,
this is America, This is America.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
I don't even know who you are right now, right, No, it's.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Free enterprise a Rocky, Rocky. How much are you worth?
You're worth whatever someone's willing to.
Speaker 6 (21:34):
Pay you, am I rightly? It's called market value. Yes,
all right, thank money.
Speaker 5 (21:40):
Appreciate all my dag on TV. That's what I feel.
Can you take another one?
Speaker 3 (21:44):
Yep? Thank you? No, no, no, that's that we got.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
All right, Well, appreciate the cause as always on the way,
we got Sean King right after our man, the award
winning Steve the Seger gets us updated.
Speaker 5 (21:56):
Hey, Steve.
Speaker 12 (21:58):
Bowl College football game on Fox TV is underway and
thanks to an eighty yard touchdown pass early SMU up
seven to nothing mid first quarter against seventeenth ranked Arizona. Meanwhile,
in Charlotte Bowl game in the early minutes, has wake
Forest up eight three against Mississippi State, which is five
and seven Bowl wins for Texas State and Navy Ole.
(22:19):
Miss quarterback Austin Simmons will transfer, reportedly to Missouri. He

Watt will play Sunday Night. Return to full practice today
after missing the last three games with a lung injury.
Bill's quarterback Josh Allen returned to limited practice, should start Sunday.
Vikings QB JJ McCarthy will start after a broken hand.
(22:41):
Dolphins running back Devon Han is doubtful with a shoulder injury.
Dallas running back Javonte Williams out with shoulder and neck injuries.
To college basketball, at number two Michigan Wolverine's ready to
go to thirteen and oh leading USC fifty five thirty
three early in the second half. Later tonight, it's number
nine Michigan's date at thirteenth rank Nebraska. Among the NBA games. Tonight,
(23:04):
the Spurs lead seventy nine to sixty at Indiana in
the third quarter. A PACER's loss would put their record
at six and twenty nine. Eight and twenty four is
the Wizard's record, but they're winning against Brooklyn early third
quarter sixty seven fifty six, and late first half it's
a Calves lead at home of fifty two to forty
nine over the Nuggets, despite twenty three points from Denver's
(23:26):
Jamal Murray. Already Hawks lead at New York in the
second quarter forty seven to forty for the next Jalen
Brunson named Player of the Month in the East. The
West winner Sga from Oklahoma City and by the way,
Oklahoma City at twenty nine and five plays in an
hour and a half at Golden State, the Warrior Steph
Curry out with an ankle injury, Jimmy Butler out due
(23:47):
to illness, by the way, Carl Anthony Towns of the
Knicks out tonight due to illness, and Victor wemben Yama
the Spurs out with that hyper extended knee. And among
the four NHL games tonight, they're underway indoors at the
Winter Class Say in Miami, Florida, hosting the New York Rangers.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Back to you, all right, Steve, Appreciate you, Steve. You
ain't calling out sick, You're here. Appreciate you as always,
sisty couple. Rob Parker Kelvin Washington, or I don't.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
Want my money fast, sick every time I'm paying four
hundred dollars for tickets, just sick.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
I'm sick of it. I'm serious, I'm sick of it.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Well, David, I want I want my money back, even
though I ain't paid. But when I went to that
Laker game, I told you, look on Lebron's birthday, Rob, Rob,
he looked forty one.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Oh, I beg, Rob. It was bad to see it
up close.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
I mean the numbers were just yes again, all right, seventeen,
you know, seven and said whatever it was. But man,
when you see it up close, dude, it was like, ooh,
it's looking it's just not getting sack on some fortunate
airballs side of the backboards. It hit him fast, you know,
and again like he's he's talented enough that he's gonna
have a thirty five point game in the next game
(24:59):
to to night against Memphis.
Speaker 5 (25:01):
But you know, seeing that in perfect person, it was like, oo,
it was. It was rough to see.
Speaker 6 (25:05):
Man.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
For sure, we'll get Sean King on here in a
minute as we start. Of course, twenty twenty six, we
got some good games going on in NFL.
Speaker 5 (25:13):
This weekend. Some some big games too.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
We talked a little bit about the Ravens and the
Steelers and how that's gonna win the winner of that
win division getting to the postseason.
Speaker 5 (25:22):
We got some other ones too where.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
The game itself as far as the winning, yeah, you
want to win the game, but more so, like if
you're talking about the Rams and Cardinals, for the Rams,
it's not just about winning. It's about looking right, getting right,
feeling good going into it, kind of getting your mojo going,
you know. And this is why Sean McVay said he's
gonna play as starters. We're gonna get into that no
matter what happens with the games prior. Yeah, we're gonna
get into that little bit too. So there's some other
(25:48):
games too, just some where just not about like as
if they're not gonna be in the postseason. It's just
about getting that mojo going going into the postingson.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
I think the Rams, like you couldn't end the season
worse than they have.
Speaker 4 (25:59):
I mean, for ten days, two weeks ago, they were
the toast of the NFC, right, I mean, and look
like now here they are.
Speaker 5 (26:08):
I agree.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
Yeah, it's just it's it's and your course you know,
your course to the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Is one of those.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
That's why, like last year, the Lions really blew it
being fifteen and two home field, you know, the first
game that they played against Washington and rookie quarter like that,
that was just supposedly even though they made it to
the NFC the year before, being fifteen and two home
field throughout you know what I mean, it was lined up.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
No, they were incredible offense. Ren Shrew was the most
in the game, Sean. Sean King joins us. Now he
can kind of jump in on this as well, Sean.
Appreciate your brother for being here. A former NFL quarterback.
Fox Sports Radio NFL analyst Sean show all this what's
happening about?
Speaker 5 (26:46):
Kind of.
Speaker 3 (26:49):
Sean? How are you, Sean?
Speaker 6 (26:52):
I'm good man, Yes, yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
Yes, we're talking about the Rams and how they got derailed.
You know, two weeks ago, ten days ago, they were
riding high and they were up thirty to fourteen, and
Seattle looked like they were making a statement they were
gonna have the top seed in the NFC, and it's
all come crushing that, you know, crushing down on them.
What do you make of what's happened?
Speaker 6 (27:18):
Here. Here's what's unique about this year's NFL. There isn't
one team that's so good that can show up with
their B game and not be vulnerable. And I think
that's what's gonna make this playoffs fascinating. Everybody's in the playoffs,
I think can get hot and have a legit shot
to win it. Like the Rams. They've got Stafford, who's established,
(27:40):
They've got Pool, could have got Davontae, but they're not
this complete team that's dominated across the board, on defense,
that's great, on special teams, that can run the ball
regardless of situation. So I think everybody has a vulnerability.
We're gonna really see what organization has the culture that
(28:01):
can put together three or four wins and win this
your championship.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
I want to say this to you too, Sean.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
Earlier, we talked about go ahead, no, no gud, whats
it gonna bring a rod? We talked about first hour
do somebody has to win a game and get into
the postseason. In the AFC North, right, it's gonna be
the Steelers. So it's gonna be the Ravens. Let's say
it's the Ravens just for Conversation's sake, Lamar plays, they win,
do you still feel the same with them that? Look,
now we're in the tournament, we run the ball with Henry,
(28:29):
we don't shoot ourselves in the foot.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
Can they beat a team or two?
Speaker 6 (28:34):
They're probably the one team that I'm not buying any
stocked in. I just I mean, yeah, Derick Chim we
had a good game against the Packers, trying to figure
out who they are without Michael Parsons, no Jordan Love.
Although Malie Willis played great. Shout out to him. He
made himself some money. But I don't I mean, when
you look at when you look at Lamar, does he
really look like I gotta win a Super Bowl this year?
Speaker 5 (28:57):
Or like.
Speaker 6 (28:59):
I'm a like, I don't see the hunger in Baltimore
that it would take to put a sustained run together.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
See, I'm with Sean, I'm with you.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Way too many holes, way too many bad bad football.
I don't believe in John Harbaugh anymore. Their game plans.
I remember that AFC Championship game against Kansas City where
they did they when they ran the ball, they were
like undefeated, you know what I'm saying, Like over twenty
carries or whatever. It was, and they come out in
(29:27):
lamars throwing on every down. You know, I've seen the
big fumbles. I've seen the defense give up forty points.
Speaker 5 (29:35):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
I just can't see it.
Speaker 6 (29:39):
I don't eed, I don't either. I just think they
had a great game against Green Bay and they'll probably
be Pittsburgh. I mean, what the NFL did to Pittsburgh,
so spending DK Metcalf for two games, I think it's
egregious because DK Metcalf doesn't have a history of doing
anything like that. So I thought, understanding where Pittsburgh was
situation league that that was, that was a little gregious
(30:03):
to me.
Speaker 5 (30:03):
But he swung on somebody. Come on, Sean, I get
if he went in there, put his fingers.
Speaker 6 (30:08):
Somebody's fail to call. The NFL has to make a decision.
If a fan is sitting in road three, fans shouldn't
even be down there. Anyway. His seat was in row three, right,
So it's not like DK came here. He came down
into DK's space.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
It's not like the NBA, though, Sean.
Speaker 1 (30:30):
He's not sitting there right on the floor and right
in your five, you know, inches away from you.
Speaker 5 (30:34):
You gotta go all he had to walk to the wall,
and then he swung on him. I'm not saying I'm
a big proponent. Rock knows this. I'm a proponent of
if a fan throw a beer at you, you go
over in there, throw some hands.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
I'm not knowing. I'm with you, throw hands. I feel
you can kill me crazy, you can't.
Speaker 6 (30:54):
Here's the context. D K's never been involved in anything
remotely negative. So now we're talking about he says, She say,
as far as what was said. But to make a
guy that has no history of being aggressive or having
outlandic's behavior to make him walk over to the something
would say that not being.
Speaker 5 (31:15):
Told, That's where I disagree with you.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
I think he has had many of he's he has
the most fifteen yard penalties in his career. He has
all types of issues where he's gotten into it with
it with other folks.
Speaker 5 (31:27):
He's been a hot head.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
Now I ain't say even swinging on fans, but I
think that did play a role as part of this decision.
Speaker 6 (31:33):
But we can move, you know, the we can You
know the real problem was the sister security guard who
was getting ready for Christmas, who they want no parts. No.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
I saw that no doubt what security guard are you exactly?
He didn't do anything.
Speaker 4 (31:49):
Uh, tell me about Drake May and I think his
case for MVP was definitely improved in hands. We know
in Vegas they have him as a favorite. Now just
tell me about him. I know they played a lot
of this schedule was really weak, but but he put
up you know, good enough numbers.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
He has the number one team in the AFC. Uh
does he deserve to win it?
Speaker 6 (32:13):
I don't think he deserves to win. I think longevity
has to play a role in to us annoyt in
certain guys like in Staffords had a more impressive.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
Enough Come on, wait a minute, that is fifth or
sixth seed MVP from the fifth to six seed.
Speaker 6 (32:30):
Lit'ten what I'm saying. Though. He's had a good year,
a great year for a guy in his first year
as a starter, and he should be applauded. But it's
still a lot of unknown about Drake May. And I
like him and if you ask me a box stock
in one young quarterback, it would be him because his
characteristics show elite quality, specifically the composure like in the
(32:50):
league where these guys are kind of schizophrenic. You look
at Bot Nicks. You look at Caleb Williams like talented,
but you never know from series and series like are
they just it's gonna mentally melt down? Like he's kind
of that old school throwback. Nothing bothers him and he
gets a lot of credit for that. But what Stafford
is doing at his age, I think it's truly.
Speaker 4 (33:10):
A pro a minute Sean, but the finish in the
season has been bad. Can you acknowledge that?
Speaker 6 (33:17):
You know, you're a baseball guy, Rob, you don't take
a cy Young away from a picture because he has
a bad outing.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
It's not a bad outing, it's about from going from
the number one seed.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Would you concede that?
Speaker 4 (33:31):
Like, if they would have won that game in Seattle,
we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
But they lost that game. They lost a game against
a bad Atlanta Falcons team.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
They didn't just lose. He threw three picks, should have
been two pick sixes. And now they're playing Arizona. If
he craps out or they lose, or he doesn't play
well and he has another two picks, you think they're
gonna give a guy who has as many interceptions as
Shador Sanders The last four Games of the season.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
He's gonna be the MVP.
Speaker 6 (34:00):
Give first of all that that's clickbait.
Speaker 3 (34:02):
Why would you do downscuse cuz I've had a radio
show for thirty years. How's that?
Speaker 6 (34:11):
Hey, listen, give back your stuff with this MVP.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
No, no, thank you, Sean, Sean. You just don't want
to be wrong.
Speaker 5 (34:17):
Sean.
Speaker 6 (34:18):
You know that.
Speaker 5 (34:20):
Rob. It's crazy, he's sick.
Speaker 3 (34:23):
It seems gonna be six seed. He's not going to
get in a vision.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
Is amazing.
Speaker 6 (34:29):
Can I talk? I'm all on for us. Yes. So
last week I told you guys that Indiana was gonna
boat race Alabama. Oh I have another prediction.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
However, you also told us that Tulane was gonna Come on, man,
I don't act like you're wrong.
Speaker 6 (34:47):
Hey, listen, I'm I'm right. Was the only time been wrong? Here?
Put this on Shekel City. Get behind the Philadelphia Eagles
to repeat.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
Wow, Wow, Okay, you're getting good at.
Speaker 6 (35:01):
The White Farm. For whatever reason, every time we try
and put Jalen Hurts out in the pasture, he turns
into the MVP version of himself. And I just think
they're kind of flying under the radar.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
Go ahead, we got you go.
Speaker 5 (35:14):
We got you, We got you.
Speaker 6 (35:15):
Yeah, all right here you're flying onund the radar. Take
the Eagles to win it all.
Speaker 1 (35:19):
Okay, all right, all right, listen, it's wide open this year, man,
sew appreciate your happy.
Speaker 3 (35:24):
New year, Happy new year, buddy, Thank you.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
Yep, it's a wide open season for sure. Man.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
All right, on the way, we got to talk a
little bit more about the We talked to college football

what's happening with Ole Miss. We'll tell you more to
details on that. It's Diaka, but he's Rob on Kelvin

Speaker 6 (36:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (36:08):
What Rob forty three years ago today? It was Billy
Jean right forty three years ago today? Today, that's unbelievable.
Speaker 6 (36:15):
I know.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
This is when he shook up the world to hit
us with the Moonwalk Rock.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
For over forty years, tire Wrack's been helping customers find
the right tires for how, what and where they drive
shit fast and free back by free Road has a
protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation tire
rack dot Com the way tire buying should be.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
Do you think.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
Will ever, like, can humanity ever have a star as
big as he was? Again in any realm Yes movies?
Speaker 3 (36:45):
Yes you think so?
Speaker 4 (36:45):
Yeah, because I think every time we say that, somebody
comes along. I don't think anybody ever thought anybody would
replace Elvis Presley.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
During his time.
Speaker 4 (36:54):
You know what I mean, Marilyn Monroe, I could give
you like you know, all of these iconic people who
came and went, and I do. I mean, he was tremendous.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not poop pulling his talent,
but uh, humans are amazing. Seriously, when you think, you know,
even with athletes, you think, oh my god, no one's
gonna be better than Babe Ruth, or no one's gonna
(37:15):
be better than Kareem Abdul jabbar or whatever, and then
no one's gonna.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Be better and it's just amazing it really, it really
really is.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
But I only reason why I would challenge that. I
agree with the sentiment without a doubt. I think there's
somebody mortalent to him right now, you know what I mean,
it's just whether they're exposed or not. I think we
just love to tear people down now, so like we
won't even allow.
Speaker 5 (37:38):
You to get that big. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (37:40):
I don't know about that. I think. I just don't think.
I don't. I don't think it was a different No,
I don't.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
I don't think I understand what you're talking about as
far as just the coverage. But people also get blown
up bigger now than ever before because of that same exposure.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
That you're talking about. There's so many people walking around
like their stars who really aren't stars.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
But that's what I means.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
But so so that's what I'm saying. So so it
goes both Alex, you know what I'm saying. It goes out,
It goes both ways. There are people who really shouldn't
be given all this cloud that they have because oh,
they got ten million followers, so you give them some
added clout, but they might not even be that talented
(38:24):
or whatever.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
And that's my thing in this world. So it's it's a.
It's a And I hear your point.
Speaker 5 (38:29):
Great point.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
I hear you on that too.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
Only the only therese reads why I disagree or wh
I'll say. And Alex, I think you can understand. What
I'm saying too, is the length of time somebody, more
people now than ever get their fifteen minutes of fame.
Speaker 5 (38:44):
I agree with that. That shouldn't have just out of
the blue. You're a hot tour girl. I gotta hear
your famous for a week and a half, two weeks,
two months.
Speaker 8 (38:50):
Yeah, until you give people bad betting advice, then yeah, yeah,
here you go.
Speaker 3 (38:54):
But I'm saying, or they look past your previous tweets
and post. But that's what I mean, Rob.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
We find previously, we find what you said, you said
some political you did this, you did it, We don't.
Back in the day, it was a lot of lionizing.
We just put you on a pedestal and we worshiped
you there again again. We want to bring you down again.
Speaker 4 (39:18):
I hear you, And yes it was it was different somewhat,
but there was scandal magazines. Back then there were stories
about Marilyn Monroe. She's a tramp, she's been with it.
I mean you did all of that stuff. And also, uh,
you know movie stars, not like like today. Oh he's gay,
he's this.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
I mean all of that existed, so drug use, all
kinds of stuff.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
I'm not saying, yes, the four the people didn't get
a complete pass back in the old days.
Speaker 3 (39:51):
It's all I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
And even Michael Jackson went through his own scandals too,
with the kids and this and that, and he's sleeping
to that.
Speaker 8 (39:58):
U Biker, Hays Tiger, like everybody has something in retrospect
to Kelvin, it's just now there's so many martyrs of
people wanting to be an Internet warriors.
Speaker 7 (40:07):
So that's why Moore is exposed. Now there's too much
outlet me.
Speaker 5 (40:11):
So now it used to be to Rob's point, you
had the inquire this one and this they have.
Speaker 3 (40:15):
I'll all you saying they had.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
One hundred and fifty people with microphones. Alex and by
the way, Green doesn't have to be truth anymore. I
can go, hey, did you know that this happened?
Speaker 5 (40:23):
This happened. It's crazy. Did you ever do it and
oh it shares it. It's just a different time.
Speaker 1 (40:27):
But his level of fame, my gosh, that was just
I try to explain to you know, people twenty five
in under it a line. I mean, I know the
name and everything, but now you can't fathom how big
Michael Jackson was.
Speaker 7 (40:39):
I'm like, it will never be matched again.
Speaker 5 (40:41):
No, it's like Matt's, Rob Parker's what Top three?
Speaker 6 (40:45):
Though? You up there?
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Rob? You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (40:47):
Everywhere I go you work with Rob. Yeah, Michael Jackson
then Rob
