Those wings were so hot.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Be sure to select Fox Sports Radio with one of
your presets in the iHeart Radio app.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
The first time I had taken. I'm not even kidding.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
The wings was so hot, I say, saying like spicy, hot, spicy.
Speaker 1 (01:27):
I needed a drink. Always pop up on your top
of your screen with the preset. Also, achey knees, stiff
back joints not cooperating. Some days your body's just like nope.
And on those days, luckily there's a leave, just one pill.
A leave provides up to twelve hours of pain relief
so that you can keep moving as directed. Coming up
(01:49):
in about twenty seven minutes, our man TJ. Houschman Zada,
the former Pro Bowl wide receiver co host of Up
on Game Here on Fox Sports Radio in his usual
Monday looking forward to talking some football with TJ. That
and much more. But Rob g let's talk about the
Philadelphia Eagles who were down big to the Rams, right, well, yeah, so,
(02:15):
what was it twenties?
Speaker 2 (02:17):
They were down by nineteen points. They were down huge.
Speaker 5 (02:19):
To quote our president, it was huge, right, we could
do without that, the biggest point differential I've ever seen. Yes, huge, Okay,
I didn't say it, they said it. Okay, they and
my hands are not small.
Speaker 4 (02:31):
Okay, Gotta hit him with this, Gotta hit him. YouTube
receiving right now.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
Yea, all the worst, you get that, No, but yes,
they were down big and it was so bad. In fact,
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense had one net passing
yard in the first half. You know how hard it
is to have one net passing yard in today's NFL.
It about that exactly. But in the second half alone,
(02:57):
Jalen Hurts just on passes ten plus area yards down
the field, seven of nine for one fifty four to
two touchdowns over the course of the game. Again, after
having one net passing yard in the first half, he
finished in the two twenty six through the air, forty
rushing yards, three passing touchdowns, including the game winner, and
one rushing touchdown. Guys, Jalen Hurts has now won seventeen
(03:20):
straight games as a starter. In those seventeen games, is
Lamar Jackson level forty three touchdowns, lis at these numbers,
five turnovers, one Super Bowl ring, one Super Bowl MVP.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
I don't know what else he has to do to
make people feel better about him. We talk about it
all the time.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Big game. He came up big in the second half,
right when they needed him.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Okay, sakwon Barkley last year they stopped him from running
in the super Bowl. No problem, I'll get your super Bowl.
The Super Bowl that he lost, he played better than
Patrick Mahomes in other than the fumble that turned the
game around.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Would you agree with that? Listen? The man has been
balling with need to prime time and I'm just.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Saying, Okay, it doesn't have to look like everybody's winning
formula doesn't look the same.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Did we talk about it all the time.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Justin Herbert looks like a f and quarterback.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Doesn't he big? He just does. If you would build
him in the lab, that's what you would build. That's
it just is. But Jalen hurts.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
You don't win seventeen games in a row, including postseason
Super Bowl MVP, where everybody in their uncle the week
of the Super Bowl, what they all say, came on,
here's how you beat the Eagle. Stop Saquon and then
Jayla's gonna have to throw the ball and guess what.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Guess what is that?
Speaker 6 (04:52):
He won.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
And change the script on everybody this year. The first
two game, Yeah, one look at Jaalen Hurst. He don't
have a passing touchdown.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Wasn't that? It wasn't that The conversation.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
And this wasn't like it was a block party, and
well it literally was with the kids.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
It was a black bar. I'd say, what do you mean,
ken Ba tumbo god bless you get my point?
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Like, he wasn't just piling on because they were front
running and know they were down big. They needed him.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
They needed him to throw the football in order for
them to win and get come back. That's what was impressive.
The Rams, Me and Sean King had a big blow
up on Friday.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
He ain't takes me back? Where was he?
Speaker 1 (05:43):
I almost wanted to get on the plane, get a
forty dollars flight to Las Vegas on Spirit and show
up to his house.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
I told Rob about it. I said, hey, yeah, we
were talking about this.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
I said, By the way, Rob got as Sean about
he said what I said, calling them Matthew Stafford the
best quarterback in the league. We're crazy. You bother me
the microwave. I was trying to heat up my food.
You're still break I'm like, what alone? All I'm saying
is in that game, which was a big game.
Speaker 2 (06:08):
When you say that absolute.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Right here, that was one of those games, maybe better
because both teams are undefeated but.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
The idea that the Rams had this big lead on
the road and they and they wind up giving it up.
So I don't know, Jalen hurts, Jayalen hurts. I just
I don't know what's not to like. Here's a guy
I just don't like. You can tell me whatever. I
don't know what's not to like about him or for
me to feel uh magenta about him, or you know,
(06:38):
like that's a little off color right magenta, like you
know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Like a little gray steven A Smith's suit. No, that's
hot pink. Okay, I thought you were talking about my.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Man with the franken what's the the You got the cocoa,
the cereal, the franken move with the Frankenstein one, franken
Berry whatever.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Yeah, the other one, remember frank franken Berry.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
You got the franken Berry joint steven A Smith suit that, Yeah,
he was like give me that.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
They were like, yeah, wear this when he was like, nah, louder,
why are you all on? Stephen A. So that's my
boy right there.
Speaker 1 (07:11):
He looks he's the hardest working guy.
Speaker 2 (07:17):
What is Ryan Clark wearing tonight?
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (07:19):
God? You know me?
Speaker 7 (07:21):
You know me?
Speaker 4 (07:22):
Rob G you know me time this man and brought
it up the last hour. Oh god, what what is it?
What are they where?
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Look? Look Pat and me. Man turns my mic off
so he can help me. No, no, you're missing runking
off my mic, turning my Michael.
Speaker 5 (07:37):
Look at what they Oh god, that's still better than
Rob TV too.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Bob Ryan looks like right now? Oh god, he's about
ninety seven years old. What is he doing on TV
right now? Dub dub? Turn your mic off? What what
he looks like?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
Tells from the crit you guys are I'm not gonna
say anything off care off mike to you guys.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
No, they just drop time like anything I've said.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
They know I was gonna ride past till you try
to sit up here and act like, oh stephen A. Smith,
I love that color. Don't try to do that now.
To the point that Jayalen hurts, Jalen hurts is hurting them.
And what I mean is he is hurting the people
who wanted to look a certain way. He's hurting the
people who this is how my quarterbacking is supposed to go,
supposed to look. I start digging in some numbers. Do
(08:24):
you want him to pass less than thirty times, which
is what he typically does. Runs the ball a lot.
They run it two d. He is twenty five and
eight when he's under thirty passes. You know what he
is when he still throws thirty plus twenty two and nine.
So it's not like he can't. It's not like he's
nine and twenty two.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Night was a perfect Yesterday was like the idea that
he can't. They needed to come back, they needed passing. Now, yeah,
let me add to this now, rob G. I don't
know if we had do we have Aj Brown at all?
Look that up for me, just for those who didn't
get a chance to hear it for context. If we don't,
don't worry about to tell you what he said.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
But AJ Brown, who is a freaking specimen of a human,
sometimes loves to read books on the sideline, which is sometimes,
which is.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Just I've never seen him my covering the NFL Sins
nineteen eighty seven that a guy would be reading.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
Sometimes, yeah, he's channeling his inner g and then other
times he's getting into it a little bit like hey, hey, hey, hey,
I'm not one hundred million dollar man for no reason.
And he kind of had something to say about that
this game, this postgame as well.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
But I think he was tapping onto something.
Speaker 4 (09:32):
When I look at this this Eagles team, and I
specifically look at Jalen Hurts. Sometimes I think Jalen Hurts
is rolling around in a really really nice Toyota Camri.
It's reliable, gets you to point a point, b doesn't
fail on you, it doesn't break down on you. This
is a really solid car. It is a very economically
friendly and wise purchase. But every now and again what
(09:54):
aj Brown said has to happen me personally.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
I truth agree.
Speaker 8 (09:58):
Man.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
We got so many goot players on this.
Speaker 9 (10:00):
Team, you know, and and at.
Speaker 7 (10:03):
Times, you know, you can feel like we're being conservative,
and uh, I don't think it.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
I don't think it should be like that, you know.
I think it should be you know, let your let
your killers do do their things.
Speaker 4 (10:12):
You know, and can play fast and can play aggressive.
Speaker 7 (10:15):
And I'm saying that we haven't been for you know,
me personally, that's what I would like. You know, obviously,
we're gonna run the ball and we're gonna shut up
the run off the pass and the pass off the run.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
But you know, we have a lot of good players,
as we had and like you should just gotta go,
you know.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Unlock the cheat code is what he's saying.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Do you see me? He's saying, do you see me?
You pay me a hundred million dollars. And every now
and again I think Jaalen Hurts goes, oh yeah, not
only am I effective? I can run, We got say kwan,
we got some good pass okay, and make some wise
decisions every now and again, I gotta just give a
J Brown a Davanta's with the ball just because whether
it be a five yard out, whether it be a
ten yard pass, give them the ball and let them
(10:52):
do what they do. And specifically aj Brown, because my gosh,
was he embarrassing those rams defensive backs throwing them around,
smacking around, trucking them and speaking of trucks. Every now
and then, Jalen Hurts, who has been so efficient, has
had so much success in this league, I want him
to go, you know what, Senator's Toyota camera, I got
this big super charge up F one fifty. Then I'm
(11:15):
gonna use that utility truck that can do it all.
Catch passes, run people of a run with yacht, get
the yat after the catch all of that and I
think he's like, oh, shoot, I got some studs on
the outside too, and that's what makes them scary.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
And a last point seventeen and zero and you're talking
about window dressing and doing it differently and just.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
None of it's not doing it. It's not doing anything.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
Definitely, I think he's shing the idea, the idea winning.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Absolutely, it's about winning.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
I just don't understand now if you're struggling, okay, But
if you're struggling, then you could say, well, because we're
way too conservative and we do have people that we
could open it up and do this or do that.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Oh they did blow out the Chiefs in the Super Bowl,
did they not? But that's where I lead to this.
This season.
Speaker 4 (11:56):
They barely beat the Rams, no, right, and they barely
beat the Chiefs, and they barely beat the Cowboys. And
I think all he's saying is everybody's keying Inaquonaquan has
not had a good season thus far because they're same.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
We gotta stop it.
Speaker 4 (12:10):
And I just think he's all I get it. What
he's saying is, don't forget we got some horses and
some weapons out here on the outside.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
As soon as as soon as they lose, and then
I'll listen to that conversation.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
But they're not gonna look I just told you they're
pretty much.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
They're twenty five and eight when he's less than thirty
passes attempted, twenty two and nine wins. So they've been
a They've been very, very good either way. And that's
what makes them scary to me is what they're capable
of doing when they let loose. We've seen it in playoffs,
we've seen it in Super Bowls. That's what makes them
even more skill.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
I'm I'm for the w I tell you, sports has
a short menu wins and losses. So you have other
people airing it out, doing this other stuff and they
don't win, but it looks good. I just don't understand
anything like and all players want the ball, all players
want to have their moment in the sun. But man,
how about winning like things? It's hard to complain. We
(12:59):
alway talk about that winning is the cure, all like,
what is it? What is the conversation about? What if
you come in and you get throttled in your offense
and there's points left on the field and you feel like, well,
we could have done this so that was open.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
I'm all open for that conversation.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Because you only scored nine points in the first half
against a bad Giants team. That may that maybe I
could buy into that, but to do what they did
off of that and come back in a second half.
Speaker 4 (13:26):
AJ Brown is saying, we don't have to rely on
block two block field goals in the fourth football.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
We don't have to rely on that. I'm not mad
for it.
Speaker 4 (13:37):
One of the best receivers who thinks he's probably a
top one two receiver in the league saying throw me
the ball. Sometimes I'm not mad at that, Like that's
okay to me when he's that good, that great and
obviously and they saying struggling this season, that's far.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
About three and oh, it's about win. He hit your boy,
it's about winning. Hit your boy.
Speaker 8 (13:57):
Man.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
He had people bouncing off. That was ridiculed.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Is that furs that one catch you at We busted
up for about thirty forty yards a man.
Speaker 2 (14:04):
That was embarrassing for the.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Fiftybs eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven

you with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense? And then

Speaker 2 (16:36):
On the Ravens.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
We'll keep you updated on this game as games over
and nothing no seven nothing?
Speaker 2 (16:40):
Oh okay you no? All right?
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Eight seven seven ninety nine On Fox, we're taking calls Eagles.
They get a big, big, big win against the Rams,
big comeback win for them. And the question is do
you like what you're seeing from them?
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Do you like?
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Do you agree with AJ Brown? They can open up
the offense some more? Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox,
we got.
Speaker 2 (16:58):
Jay in Atlanta. Your the odd Couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up? Jay?
Speaker 12 (17:03):
So Rob, first of all, say hello, and I want
to acknowledge you like you said, no one is chasing
Brady because there's cheating there as you always saying said
that being said, Ay, J dude, who are you Tyreek Hill?
I mean you're winning that's the deal.
Speaker 8 (17:18):
You're winning.
Speaker 12 (17:19):
Just stop all right.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
I'm with you, my God, like I just that's the deal.
Speaker 12 (17:26):
Dude.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
You won seventy seventeen games in a row and you're
worried about how the offense is going.
Speaker 12 (17:33):
That's the guy, Rob, That's the guy who would rather
look good and his team lose, and they'll be like, well,
I give my part, then have his whole team win.
And he's sitting in the he in the corner soaking
because he didn't get all his catches that he thought
he should get.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
Read his book.
Speaker 12 (17:49):
Whatever now. But I will say this, I think that
Like I am a Chiefs fan, so one might be
a Homer, but I guess a healthy a good team
that is totally healthy. I think the Eagles will have
problems because you look at their bare to beat the Chiefs,
and the Chiefs ain't even they ain't got their receivers.
But I think against any good team that's healthy, they
will have problems.
Speaker 10 (18:07):
Right.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Appreciate he where's your last hour? When I brought that up,
Jay needed today.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
I don't know about that.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I mean, I love the offensive and defensive line of
the Eagles.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Offensive line ain't what it used to be still good
on the touch push day.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
Amazing. But by the way, that's that's hope you enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Don from the up the upper Peninsula of Michigan. Don,
you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
What's up, Buddy Yoh?
Speaker 8 (18:31):
Calvin Rov? How's it going in the Indica?
Speaker 9 (18:34):
And I think Calvin has been too man. I love
what the Eagles have been doing. You got a big
old school it tailback. You use him to shove the
ball down your opponent's throat at will. They can't do
anything about it. But you know, I'm sure Calvin, you
were probably complaining, you know when JJ McCarthy wasn't thrown
enough when you of them stole that Natty a couple
of years back, too, right.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
So exactly, no, I wanted.
Speaker 9 (18:54):
Also, what's this you got Michigan roots? You're making Toyota
Camry references with what's going on here? Where's the did
you hear did you hear the f one fifty?
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Come on?
Speaker 9 (19:05):
After the fact, after that, I said, I said.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
At least that big for fifty. Come on? You heard me?
Scott in North Carolina? How strong is that? You're on
the couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Scott, what's
up my guys. How y'all doing You're doing good, buddy.
Speaker 7 (19:23):
Yes, sir. So before the season start they had Stafford
in a tear one list of quarterbacks that is completely false,
showing favoritism. He is not in that that category. Daylor
Hurst is definitely in that category. Dyalen Hursts is a
little bit about the patche Mahomes comedy Kevin may earlier,
like in those moments where they need to play, he
(19:43):
is going to make a play and I can rely
on that. So he's definitely one of those guys I
mean a J. Brown. I definitely do feel because like
the beginning season, safe front Barkley as we shut down,
so we have to go to him. And he is
a top three receiver in this league. So and last
year he was a soldier. He took it on the
last year he didn't really make any complaints but the book.
So we got to feed him this year and he's
(20:05):
definitely gonna get the ball this ship.
Speaker 2 (20:06):
Yeah, I mean to me, this wasn't a negative for me.
This was a man. You got a nice websco available.
Can we lose them? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (20:13):
Okay, I know who I was like, yeaht thet Yeah. No,
I'm saying you look at to me and he got
like a just a weapon available. I look at it,
not a negative I'm saying, Man, I'm shoot. That was
a reminder what I got hanging over there.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Ken in California, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
What's up, Keny?
Speaker 6 (20:30):
Calvin?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
What's up? Ken?
Speaker 6 (20:33):
I'm just gonna give this team because I'm a little
pissed off and Roub. You know, Calvin, you just take
the rest of the show. Because Rob didn't use the
word chump, team, use the word premiu defensive rest are
plane in Prince with the Eagles, and then he had
the nerve to say the lamb to two and one
and they guarantee you if they ever played the Eagles
(20:53):
in the playoffs.
Speaker 8 (20:53):
Again, they would wear it.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
And I'm out takes over here that he's mad man.
That was even trash talking too, called him the lamb. Yeah,
he fed up with you. It's been about six weeks now,
straight off Kim being on my side.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
That's funny. Now Mark Andrews wants to catch a ball.
Hall was that hand, Yeah, let me tell you.
Speaker 4 (21:12):
I've never lived that one now, it was he won't either.
By the way, that's the worst thing about life. You're
one thing, like a million catches the one he missed.
But he's too good to miss, you know what I mean.
Likely he knows he's too good. Yeah, that's all right.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
You know who else was a great pass catcher? TJ. Husmazan.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
He's getting ready join us here in a couple of
minutes right now. Steve Saga is gonna get yourself once training.
Speaker 3 (21:31):

(22:07):
a former Pro Bowl receiver, a co host of Up
on Game on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
Hit him up hoo'sh eighty four on X whatever, bush.
Speaker 8 (22:19):
Man, what's I love? I love the song? I love
a song for like I'm a boxer coming down to
my ring walk.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
Yeah, miss Mary Matt got you said on that one man.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
By the way, I don't know if you're a game
right now, practice or something, but are you watching this
Monday night?
Speaker 8 (22:32):
As soon as I get off the phone with you, guys,
I shouldn't even say this, but I'll be watching it
on my drive phone. Yeah, practice, you sayd it?
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Okay? Well, shoot he should be in the four. A
good one man, both teams.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
The Lions had a great drive and then the Ravens
scored in what three.
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Minutes something like that. Yeah, they go down and run
the ball pretty much. A couple of passes. Yeah, it's
looked like this might be a forty something to forty
something kind of game man, Right, Ravens.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Scored forty points every week. That's what it looks like.
Forty and a half this season.
Speaker 4 (22:58):
Yeah, crazy, all right, one of that, But I'm gonna
start with the Packers.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
How to heck the Packers lose? Who's what the heck?
Speaker 4 (23:03):
I know Miles Garrett is good and the Browns have
a few good defensive players.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
What the heck happened? What hop and Lucy?
Speaker 8 (23:10):
That that defensive line that the Cleveland Browns have, it's
hard to plant those dudes. Man, the Browns have a
championship defense, but they have a Pop Warner offense. That's
the problem. Like defensively, you I don't care who they play,
they gonna present problems for everybody. And the Packers won.
They couldn't create explosive but up ten zero and you're
(23:30):
the Green Bay Packers with I believe it was like
three minutes and thirty seconds. Lesson. You gotta win that game,
thank you. You cannot be a championship caliber team and
lose that game the way that they lost it. Uh,
it's early. That could be a blessing in disguise, But
if you and that team has never won a championship,
you can't say, oh, it's good for us. How you
(23:52):
know it's good for us. You guys haven't been down
that road before. You guys haven't hoisted the trophy. But
it should be good for me. It should teach them a.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Lesson, right that there's nothing that's easy.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
And what about that opponent. What about the Eagles coming back?
They were down big and then uh, you know, Jalen
Hurts played well in the second half. They rallied to
get a couple of blocks and they beat the Rams.
That was a big win to me for Philadelphia.
Speaker 8 (24:18):
The Eagles, they showed the heart of a champion because
they've been there before. And I'll say this, man, was
it twenty six to seven, twenty six to nine, whatever
the score was, Yeah, yep, the Rams should and are
supposed to win that game. There's just no way the
(24:39):
Rams should let the Eagles. And the Eagles don't even
want to throw the ball, and they came and got
back into that game by throwing the ball. It's something
that they don't want to do. And so I met person,
is crazy what I'm about to say. I believe the
Rams are a better football team than Eagles. Like, you
block a field goal and then you block another field
(25:00):
go and run it back for a touchdown. At the
Rams lost the game in a way that just to
block one field goal in the football game is like, wow,
they blocked a field goal to block two of.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
Them in the same quarter.
Speaker 8 (25:14):
The Rams got to go back to the drawn board,
the left guard on pat You got a man up, bro,
you can't get you gotta get run over. You don't
stand They got to run you over. You're standing up
on field goal Like I was a special teams player
when I first got in the league, our first team.
If they run you over and you just slung them
down a little bit, they're not blocking it. But if
(25:34):
you stand up now you create gaps. You got to
get run over. But the Rams got to be better
than that. They can't. They can't let that lead slip
away like that.
Speaker 4 (25:44):
Yeah, that was you mean, if you were a Rams
fan and you were just leaving a bar or something,
you absolutely thought you had that game online.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
But that wasn't the case. TJ.
Speaker 4 (25:52):
Whos was out of our guest right now, former Pro
Bowl receiver co hosts of Up on Game on Fox.
Speaking of a game man, it's another LA team. The
Chargers found a way to come back and uh and win.
And Justin Herbert has looked great thus far a few
games into the season. What's what's been good about him?
And what maybe is the difference that you've seen thus far.
Speaker 8 (26:11):
Justin Herbert Man is playing the way many thought he
would and should have played when he first came out.
But this is a product of Harball being a great coach.
He's not a he's not a good coach. He's a
great coach. He's a leader of men. You believe in him.
He's gonna put you in a situation to be successful.
(26:31):
When the players see that, so they gonna give it all.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
They have and they figure that at some point he'll
wind up cheating and then they'll probably win a championship.
Speaker 8 (26:39):
Hey, man, if you ain't cheating you any time.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
I'm just saying, I'm just like, like, like he took
a big pay cut at Michigan, we'll talk about him.
But it wasn't until after that, Uh they were getting
the plays or whatever that that Again.
Speaker 8 (26:53):
All the schools in the big team didn't care about
that cheating until they start losing. You think he just
if he cheated, You think he just started cheating or
he was cheating when he first got it.
Speaker 6 (27:01):
I'm just saying, you didn't carry was.
Speaker 8 (27:04):
Cheating when you was beating on me, But then when
he started beating on you, Oh, he's cheating better.
Speaker 2 (27:09):
He cheated.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Come on, TJ, you're come on, man, I hate when
guys say that. If that was you when you were
playing and you didn't win a national championship, you wouldn't
be like they didn't beat us, they were cheating. Come on,
there's something to that. That's why the Patriots don't get
the love that they should get with those six championships because.
Speaker 8 (27:26):
People to Patriots. I believe, I believe the Patriots get
the love because nobody brings it up, like I'll bring it.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Up, bring it up all the time, is gonna bring
it up.
Speaker 8 (27:37):
But for the most part, publicly and everybody gives the
Patriots they're credit for being a dynasty that they were right.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
It's ridiculous. All right.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Let me let me ask you, Uh, who was the
other team that I wanted to Uh?
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Are the Giants and and and and the Chiefs?
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Just the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
I mean nine points against that bad Giants team in
the first half.
Speaker 2 (27:58):
I don't know, the Chiefs, just don't.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
I hope they take them off of national television because
it's just it's a hard watch.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
It really is, TJ.
Speaker 1 (28:08):
To watch them when you remember watching them from the
beginning what that Chiefs team was like and exciting and
muscy TV to where they are now.
Speaker 8 (28:17):
But we've seen this sort of an evolution of the
Chiefs starting to take a backslide offensive. We've seen this
now this is a third year in a row where
it's like, wow, offensively, they really aren't what they were.
The defense has carried them and it still is carrying them,
but they don't have that dynamic threat, that threat one
(28:41):
play touchdown on it. They don't have that, and that's
what they're trying to find. And you see Mahomes is
kind of throwing those fifty to fifty balls to Tayekwon
Thornton to see like if he can start making these
plays that open steams up. But the Giants defensively, they
gonna present problems. Russell Russell Wilson plays really well against
(29:01):
the Dallas Cowboys, but then you look at the Cowboys
now and say their Swiss Chiefs defense.
Speaker 12 (29:06):
So when they gonna go to.
Speaker 8 (29:07):
Jackson dark but the Chiefs man, we're starting to see
I guess the beginning of the end. I picked the Chargers.
I told you all this last week. I picked the
Chargers to win the division. I picked the Charger to
go to the Super Bowl. So so far it's looking good.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Yeah, how about this.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
You were just talking about the Cowboys and Caleb had
a really good day, four touchdowns and that fleet flick
I love. But it's against the Cowboys, and I say,
you got if they're Swiss chief, then that's what you
should do. If you're Caleb Williams, right, you should have
a big day against them.
Speaker 8 (29:37):
Yeah, but you know you know this, Rob. You come
in as the first pick. Your rookie year was pretty
pretty up and down, more down and up. Now you
start hearing the whispers that you may be a bus
and so to come into this game, it don't matter
how the Cowboys look at because they're watching film on
the Giants and what the Giants offense did to the
Cowboys defense. So your Chicago Bear offense, you excited to
(29:59):
go playing, but still have to do it right. And
so to go out there and do it and Cayleb
Williams have a very successful game, this is something to
build on. This is gonna give him confidence, This is
gonna give him that self assurance like I do belong
because at some point in time, if you're not having success,
you start to have some self doubt, and so this
is good for Kayler Williams. I pull up for Kayler Williams.
(30:21):
I liking I considering him a friend. So I'm happy
to see that he played well and get you out here.
Speaker 2 (30:26):
At least for me with this one.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
Who's who knew that Daniel Jones was about to be
the MVP of the year.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
Oh what the heck is going on? You guys better
pump the brakes on this.
Speaker 8 (30:36):
Okay, Hey, hey, hey, Rob, They don't matter what Daniel
Jones does the rest of the season. I know Shane
Spiken deserves a raise. Shane Spiken deserves a raise from
the Indianapolis coach because this is coaching one oh one,
This is teaching a player how to be successful. Mike
(30:58):
I could not believe how he looks in his first
three games he was left for dad with the Giants.
No believe Dable was a great offensive coach, and so
for him to play this way with Shane Stike and
calling the place, shange Spike and stand up and patch
yourself on the back.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
Hey we get are we right there? All right? We
we figured out.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
I think who's loved young Jeezy so much? Jezy just
stuck around. Ha ha Eezy came back.
Speaker 2 (31:28):
Thank god. There was nothing else on there could have been.
It could have been disaster. Yeah, Jesez was just give
him motivational speech.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
That's what ifre you go, all right, hey, who's we
appreciate you as always, my man, Thank you man.
Speaker 8 (31:39):
Y'all see what the great work. I'm not even gonna
turn on the game. I'm gonna listen to y'all till.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
I get home.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
Appreciate it. Appreciate you, bro as always. Follow him who's
eighty four on axt you can give him follow there.
Speaking of Cayleb Williams, we were just talking about it.
Had his best game as a pro. Uh did he
do enough? Or was it the Cowboys? We'll tell you.
We see how a couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (32:00):

Speaker 2 (32:20):
Little Magic city? Money? What you're talking about the name
of it?
Speaker 4 (32:24):
I forgot whatever you like. You can have whatever you like.
That's what you used to tell him coming up to stage.
Send him man, hey, Cinna man, you can have whatever
you like.
Speaker 8 (32:35):
Okay, Rob.
Speaker 2 (32:37):
Oh Man.
Speaker 4 (32:38):
We got a seven seven game Monday Night football. So far,
so good with that one. Thank you to TJ. Housminzana

(33:20):
they're still going around one hundred years for them.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
You mentioned it earlier.
Speaker 4 (33:24):
We were talking to Hoosh big Win for the Chicago
Bears more impressively importantly for Caleb Williams and then obviously
Ben Johnson in his first co win as a head
coach in this league. But the big story was Kayleb
Williams moving that ball.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
For a touchdown or touch sack at all.
Speaker 4 (33:41):
Yeah, and just been able to you know, to me,
I'm glad you mentioned the sack. The best thing he
did was still look poised and steady under pressure. I
believe he was under pressure fifty five percent of his dropbacks.
He looked good. He stayed in the pocket, he looked poised.
He didn't get frantic and run out of there. And
obviously use your legs like we're watching Lamar Jackson due
(34:03):
and I use him when it's there, But that shouldn't
be your first thing. You know, if you've got to
stand in the pocket, then he's gonna come. And he
looked good. Man was throwing the ball all around, and
I think he and Ben Johnson got in a good
groove and they stayed in the good group. Now, look,
they're playing the Dallas Cowboys, but you gotta beat who
you gotta beat, and they did just that, So I
was I was happy for him.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Look good.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
Too, because if they struggled and didn't play well, then
you would be, oh, well, you know he didn't may it
didn't play well against together. No, you just got to
play who's on the schedule, and and I think it
looked like you made improve and.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
He dominated it, which you know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (34:40):
Four touchdowns nineteen twenty eight, three hundred yards four touchdowns
and you know who the Dallas Cowboys could use.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
That had nothing to do with him winning. What somebody
go get after Kayleb Williams.
Speaker 1 (34:52):
And what else. I'm just saying. Now you can sit
there all year and talk about that they got other
issues because they had him when they gave a for
forty piece in the playoffs, they they did okay, so
and they had him in the three years, and they
also had him last year when they gave up in
the first three games forty points of more in those games.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
They played, they had a quarterback. They could have used him.
Dank it. He could have been running around making it
a little bit harder on they get you get some
picks for him. That's why you do it back in
April and you get some picks. Been playing because it
ain't nothing was happening in Dallas anyway, what's the difference.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Well, you're gonna tell me, tell Jerry jose that I
still believe we can make the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
Jerry. I know that's what you're supposed to say. Jerry.
I know you're not supposed to supposed to say they're
not gonna make the playoffs. And he can be real,
he can be honest.
Speaker 4 (35:35):
For once CD's out for the next three to four weeks,
they say, you know that's your obviously your playmaker.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
He's out.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
Now you don't have a defense man, please man. But
but no back to Caleb though Ben Johnson. Now, they
did the worst flee flicker I've ever seen in my life.
But it worked well.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
I mean, it wasn't a good snap to him, you
know what I mean, But he got it out there.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
Man, that running back, I don't know what he was doing.
He was playing with his daughter in his backyard.
Speaker 2 (35:59):
Roger.
Speaker 4 (35:59):
You know, he ain't gonna catch throw a little air
so she in came the store right at her.
Speaker 2 (36:03):
That was a terrible fleet flicker.
Speaker 4 (36:05):
But they got it out there, got some touchdown, they
got that offense, and finally you kind of see a
little bit of what Ben Johnson, you know, the mad
scientists of it all with Ben Johnson, obviously you were
kind of waiting to see that when he start to
utilize his personnel with that team. They got receivers, they've
got some speed on the outside. They've got a quarterback
who's mobile with a big arm, who can do some things.
So uh for them, the good win, good solid win
(36:26):
took full advantage dak through a couple of interceptions as well.
One obviously George Pickins. It was his fault. He got
to catch that. But and then I'm looking at the Bears.
I'm looking up the schedule. Next he got the Raiders.
That should be winnable game for you.
Speaker 2 (36:40):
What all the Raiders? Rob g real quick? What all
the Raiders?
Speaker 5 (36:43):
And were about to be chewing two got? Carol Williams performance.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Was a mirage. Let me tell you.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Wait, you're talking about the hotel that you could see
out the windows.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
That don't exist anymore?
Speaker 5 (36:53):
Jokes on you often you go to face That's right,
that's right, they look that's the one they got rid of.
I was very impressed watching the game with Kayler william
I'm like, man, this dude's really cooking. Hey, he hasn't
played this well, I think since USC And then I
watched the Sunday night game and I saw how bad
Russell Wilson looked against Kansas City.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
Like, well, shoot, Russell.
Speaker 5 (37:14):
Just threw four hundred plus yards and three touchdowns last
week against Dallas. So everything that Cayleb Williams did against them,
you gotta take with a grain of salt.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
I'm taking it with a grain of salt because again
it's just his only third game with Ben Johnson.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
I'm with you.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
I understand your point with that, but I will say this,
for me, it was my first point. He still looked
poised under pressure. That's something that if it's the Cowboys,
if it's the Browns, if it's the Lions, it's the Deravened,
you know what I mean. If pressure is pressure is pressure.
And so for him to look good under pressure, stay
in that pocket, not freak out, not panic, that was
a good sign.
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Everybody quarterback and as you go forward, will not throw
for four hundred yards against the Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
They might throw for three. Though I'm just saying he
was too short.
Speaker 5 (37:53):
Just to me, didn't run the ball thirty straight plays,
he would have went over three.
Speaker 4 (37:57):
By the way a nineteen play drive is ridiculous, Alas Cowboys.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
I love I'm sorry. I came up, took back. It
took Rob back to the days he grew up watching football.
That's right, man. When I was watching before the forward pass,
I didn't even know what a forward pass? What what
is that? Should we throw the ball? What is that?
The Alice Cowboys?
Speaker 4 (38:13):
Because what no d nineteen Rob g I didn't even
know there was that much space on the dag on
football for that you can run nineteen plays in one drive.
Speaker 5 (38:20):
Allen's Cowboys giving up five touchdown passes twenty five yards
to more of this season already the most through three
games in forty five years.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
That's terrible. Love it. There's this terrible that Alice Cowboys.
Got to get it together. Man, that is ridiculous, absolutely terrible.
Where my cat? They could use him? For sure? Can't
believe you saying how could we not use the dude?
Speaker 4 (38:40):
At least get out the quarterback and look make Caleb
look halfway mortal, Russell Wilson look like who's in the
backyard playing peewee football.
