you begetting whatever they've been hitting you like they've hitting
Denzel and training there.
Speaker 4 (01:39):
Then and in about twenty seven minutes, we'll be down
with the King showing King, former NFL quarterback and Fox
Sports Radio NFL analysts.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
I don't think it's anything better than this right here.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Right there, don with the King for years, about ten
of them.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Absolutely, so a lot to get to an hour number
two the weekend, it's uh fastly approaching, Rob g the
pigskin pick off. Another good week for yours, truly, I mean, yeah,
three and two man, Kevin.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Well, no, it wasn't that you were good. It was
Kelvin's horrible. Calvin's what are you? Two? And uh what
is he nine? In his last two weeks? Oh my, hey, Rob,
do me a favor.
Speaker 5 (02:27):
That's what happens when you just stop snitching.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
John Ran from three to exactly.
Speaker 4 (02:32):
That's what happens when you know what, Kelvin, just let
your daughters pick the games as we go forward.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
Okay, what you think the game plan is this week? Okay,
you might as well because over.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
There everybody, all the ladies in the house, get one pick.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
Kelvin, you just got to hit up Elijah now with
an HRU and resetting.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, you know what, that's a great point. No no, no, no,
no great point, rob G.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
No reset, no mid season reset, no.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Zero zero zero. I'm zero and zero. I'm doing Shekel
City every day with three picks. It ain't no recess.
You're steal five hundred and you ain't no reset.
Speaker 1 (03:09):
And anyway, it was Elijah's idea to reset, I think,
oh day, okay, let me tell you who didn't wake
up that day and say, oh let me reset for
Let me tell you what it was not on his
game playing Alex zero. All right, maybe it wasn't Elijah's
I did. I told it was all right, uh, rob G.
Speaker 6 (03:33):
Performance and we were underperforming with It's called proof of performance.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
We always do that here on the YDD couple we have.
We're transparent. I could just be making picks and not
have my record on there, and people would still be like, Okay, well.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
What's the point of having the record if you started off.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
No, But it was just because of the timing and
the year and and the football season.
Speaker 5 (03:54):
And Elijah was like, you know what this means?
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Is that what it was? Yeah? I think yes, I
think that's what it was.
Speaker 5 (04:01):
Rob Okay, tight pants, tighter pants, too.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
Tight, there was you know, no no more type, loosen
them pants.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Thes hey, Rob g We got news coming out of DC.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
We got some big news coming out of DC. Jade
and Daniels, who you'll recall last week suffered a ugly
dislocated elbow and his left Thankfully it was not throwing
arm left dabble dislocation. However, they got some great news
that it was announced today no ligament damage, will not
(04:39):
need surgery and as a result, at least for now,
will not going into your reserve, which means theoretically Jaden
Daniels could be back week thirteen for the Commanders, which
if you're a football fan, that's great to hear. If
you're a fantasy football fan, it's great to hear. If
you're a Commander's fan, that's awesome. Here here's the only downside.
(05:02):
Though Washington has lost four consecutive games, Washington is currently
down three of their top five wide receivers. Washington plays
Philadelphia two of the next three weeks.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
So even if you do get Jaden Daniels back, what
is he coming back to That's the question. I tell
you what.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
He's not coming back to our locker room to be playing.
He ain't coming back to his uniform.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Listen. I love and admire the fact that he wants
to play.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
I'm big on that because I think often, you know,
we had a nice run where athletes you kind of
started to worry, like, oh do they want to play?
Speaker 2 (05:38):
It is a heart there.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
I love that, But sometimes you have to look out
for the player. Sometimes you have to look out for
the franchise. And I think, Jaden Daniels, I love that
you want to play. I love the heart, I love
the commitment. I love that your team loves you. The leadership, bruh,
we want to live to fight another day with you.
We want to have a decade plus with you. We
want you to be the man in DC the DMV
(06:00):
area and be the star and leader of this franchise
and the only way that we do that is by
being judicially smart with you, and sometimes we got to
just say, hey, have a seat, sit down. You've already
missed a handful of season games so far this season,
he's missed a few for a couple of seas, and
he had the left knee sprain that kept him out.
Speaker 2 (06:16):
Then he had the right hand string strain.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
Now he's got this elbow, which, by the way, the
grace of God, because that looked like a horrible injury.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I thought his arms abt to snap off.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
So to me, three and six were down a bunch
of our receivers, and it's not like the Ravens have
a chance to come away and win this division right now,
and it looks like this vision is not necessarily going
to be there. So the win looks like it's the Eagles.
So to me, if they were in the raven situation
where I could see, all right, we got a chance.
We got Lamar. He's a veteran, he's been doing this
for years. We know we got a veteran situation. This
(06:47):
is his second year. I don't want to go out
there and beat him up and have him and you
hate to say it in RG three situation that has
to be looming. So if I'm the general manager of
the owner, I'm going to Dan Quinn and saying I'm
not being You're not in a situation. If we sit
him and you guys lose out that you're getting fired.
Your position is safe. We believe in you. We got
(07:07):
our guy, we got our coach. Let's meet judicious and
smart about this. Live to come back next year, healthy receivers,
healthy Jaden's healthy, and let's go compete again and compete
for this division again next year.
Speaker 4 (07:18):
To what are you talking about? None of what you
just said makes any sense. And I'm gonna say this,
first of all, once he's cleared and he's healthy, he
should play. I'm not talking about put him out there
if he's hurt. You have a whole team full of
players who still want to play and don't think the
season is over. And there are other receivers who have
(07:41):
been waiting for their opportunity to play, not that other
guys are down. Otherwise, what is the point on being
on a team if you're gonna throw in the towel
on everybody else. If he's hurt, I get it, you
probably like, well, one of the people who wanted Zion
Williamson not to play again in college basketball.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
I remember everybody saying, oh, he and none to prove.
Speaker 4 (08:06):
If you're nineteen years old and you don't want to play,
I don't want that guy.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Once he was.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Healthy, guess what Zion did. He went back and he played.
You should play. Michael Jordan got hurt early in his career. Oh,
just take the season, Mike, and do we get a
better pick.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Whatever.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
No, you want to play, you play for your teammates.
If you're healthy. Why can't they run off eight games
in a row. They won miracle games last year that
they had no business winning.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
That's how you make name for people.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
There's no reason if you're telling me that the doctor
says that there's a chance at this or you know
he's not really one hundred percent, I'm with you. But
once he's cleared to play, guess what players do, Kelvin.
Players play, That's why they're called players. Think he wants
to total toweling on the season once they're officially eliminated.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Okay, I'll buy that once they're officially eliminated.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
But I'm not doing that now. You just now you
just threw me all off.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
No, I did not because Rob g said he might
not come back to Week thirteen.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
By then they could have lost another three, four, They
could have won five in a row and still be
in there. You don't think they come back. You just
talk that. You talk about Marcus Maridy.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
Come back, if he comes back, if they won a
few games and got back.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
And you think he wouldn't come back. No, no, no.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
What I'm saying is if he they already essentially are out.
But let's just say.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
How they out.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
They're not officially out. They're not if they go four games,
they're not out. Mathematically they're not. They're not when I
come back with my franchise, the face of my friends
because him this shit beaten doesn't mean all year.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
But that doesn't mean he's going to get a whole injury.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
He's gonna stop him from getting hurt in week one
next year.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
We talk about it all the time. You can't exact,
can't die. I don't want to waste I want to
just know what about the other forty six players who
want the roster, who want to play, who are healthy
and want their leader.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Nobody said that they want their leader. He's sitting there
copping out. I can't believe that.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
How going he's not playing if we are coming, that
makes every sense to me. It's not as if he
just had a random you know.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Look, if he's healthy, he should play.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
You disagree with that, I'm asking you disagree with Okay,
Now I don't even understand.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
I don't know what player you would be going to
want to play.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
It's not it's an impossibility to be healthy because he
has a hamstring, a knee string, and a strain. It's
not impossible because they just said it, Rob g when
he set this whole story up.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
That means two different things. Can't he play? Sure? Is
he healthy? No? What are you talking about?
Speaker 4 (10:57):
What if I saw I saw Kevin Durant go out
there with busted uh?
Speaker 2 (11:01):
Uh give my point? Can could he have played? Yes? No? No, no,
my point No, No, I did not put your point.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
My point is that you don't throw in the towel
with the idea because you're no, because you're saying, oh,
throwing the town.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
You wait till you'll wait till, we'll wait till next year. No,
there's not such thing. No, a big no. No, it
is second year quarterback.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
No, it's not absolutely, because you can't guarantee that next
year it doesn't get her right game start off.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
So what's the difference. What's the differ? Gonna start over, can.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
Get hurt at any time, play in the last three games,
or not playing. He didn't even have a great year.
I need him to get more repps. He ain't the
same quarterback he was a year ago. Go get something
more reps.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Yeah, well, you're gonna get some reps this summer. He
gonna get these reps this summer. He gonna come back
next year. Ain't no, ain't believe you bowing out and
throwing in the towel on your teammate the last tell
star quarter you guarantee this time?
Speaker 2 (12:02):
I guarantee me that. Can you get out there and.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
You're guarantee me he ain't gonna get hurt next year
by doing this?
Speaker 2 (12:07):
Can you guarantee me that that's called that's called life?
Can you guarantee me there? I might well?
Speaker 1 (12:12):
I fell down the stairs the other day. Can you
guarantee me that? No, that's but I have to be strategic, zion,
don't don't tie irategic, don't play Oh my franchise quarterback.
Don't you want him to play. You're doing to Rob
park Off in Washington, and guess what got me? And
you better come have a seat.
Speaker 2 (12:33):
You must be crazy. You better come have a season.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Players play, they're not looking to bow out. You think
you don't want to get what the managers and coaches
do and owners. I gotta think of the long term
because the last time I didn't do that with my
star quarterback, he got hurt and next thing I know,
he's sparring with Rob Parker online.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
That's what happened the last time.
Speaker 5 (12:51):
He got beat.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
That's what happened.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven

to the job market and you can get started at
expresspros dot com.
Speaker 2 (14:41):
To find the location nearest you.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
That's www dot expresspros dot com. All right, Jayden Daniels,
there's a chance he could come back in a few weeks.
I say, if he comes back to me, there's really
no point. I'd rather just say, hey, get healthy as possible.
Let's start this season next year. Rob says, if he's healthy,
run him out there on the field. Eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox. That's take some calls.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
We got robbed Justin in New Mexico. You're in the
odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up Justin?
Speaker 7 (15:08):
Hey, can you guys hear me?
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Yes, sir? Got you all right.
Speaker 8 (15:11):
Good to talk to you all tonight.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Man. Hope you boys are doing good, no doubt.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Great show, A long time listener.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Love you guys, appreciate apreciate you. Brother, Yeah for sure.
Speaker 7 (15:20):
You know, I kind of went back and forth on him.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
Man.
Speaker 2 (15:22):
I agree a little.
Speaker 8 (15:23):
Bit with what Calvin is saying, but I'm really rocking
him with Rob on this one. You know, there's still
a lot of season left. He can get back out there.
They can, if they can, if Marioda can at least
get him over the hump a little bit. So Jaden
gets back. If he's healthy, absolutely, put him out there.
That's what they get paid to do. Go out there
and compete.
Speaker 9 (15:40):
Man, if he's cleared, and then maybe he gets a
couple of opinions, I don't know, you know, he right, He's.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
Got to be clear. I'm not saying if it's if
he to put him out there. I'm saying he's healthy,
he can play. If he can do that, why won't
you play him. He's a player, that's what he does.
He wants to.
Speaker 9 (15:57):
Compete, right right, Yeah, absolutely, I'll tell you why.
Speaker 2 (16:01):
Because he ain't a player, He's a franchise. What he is.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
He is our friends like when Michael Jordan went out
there and said, I don't care about any of that.
Speaker 5 (16:07):
I'm playing. I'm coming back. I'm gonna play.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
Oh, no, sit out the year, Mike hey Zion with Duke,
don't play.
Speaker 4 (16:14):
Oh, it don't matter, just sit out. You're already the
first pick. He's like, I'm eighteen years old, I'm playing basketball.
Michael in Texas, you're in the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
What's up, Michael Tellers?
Speaker 8 (16:27):
I love the show.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
Thank you appreciate you appreciate that.
Speaker 7 (16:30):
Hey like someone famous one said, you play to win
the game.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Thank you.
Speaker 8 (16:35):
You don't. You don't sit him?
Speaker 7 (16:37):
What are you paying him for to sit down? He's
not a piece of fine china. You play him just
like Jordan played forty years ago, led him to a playoff,
playoff birth and then put sixty three on the Celtics
like that's legendary.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Yes, years ago. You guys are missing the point.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
No, we're not going to be in the postseason. You
don't know that they have not been eliminated. How don't
you know that they're not eliminated. They're not Eliminade comes
back in four weeks. You don't think they'll be eliminating.
Speaker 5 (17:07):
No, I don't know that. I don't know what's happening.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (17:10):
Maybe the Eagles going to four game losing streak. I
don't know. No, I don't know. Okay, Jake in Nebraska
the couple radio.
Speaker 7 (17:22):
Jake, Yeah, gotta play.
Speaker 8 (17:26):
You don't have a choice.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
He's the leader of that team.
Speaker 8 (17:29):
They cannot show.
Speaker 7 (17:31):
You cannot show the rest of the team. This is
this isn't basketball.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
He's got to lead these men into battle on You
cannot tell everybody else in that locker room that he's
more important than everybody else.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Thank you, and Jay and Jake can't wait, man, hold on,
I'm gonna address Jake. You're one hundred percent percent spot on.
If they knew the teammates that he's healthy and he
ain't playing, that would not go over with your teammates.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
If he's healthy, y'all, don't think every single person that
the organization knows that he is in a different position
than them. Y'a are absolutely kidding, y'all. So I'm cool
if you say, hey, if he's healthy, he wants to
go back out.
Speaker 4 (18:10):
You can't ask anybody else debate. Then you can't ask
anybody else then to play.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
You don't know every wing, so let me ask Let
me ask you a questions.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Since it's so called football, why when they practice does
every single person know and they have red jerseys? Don't
hit them, don't hit them, hit everybody else. All you
want is don't hit this is, ma'am. If you don't
think they know, they built stop it, y'all. Y'all can
say you want them to play he's healthy. I'm with
you on that. We can debate that. But the idea
that everybody in the entire City. No, I'm just saying
(18:41):
they would.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
They would look at him differently if he was healthy
and didn't want to play.
Speaker 5 (18:45):
Yes, they would. I don't even doubt that, Orlando.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
The idea that y'all acting like they don't know the
quarterbacks are in different situations.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
No, no, No, that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
If he's healthy and he just and they and he said,
oh I don't want to play, people would look at you.
Side on Orlando and El Passo, you're in the odd
couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Orlando, Hey, listen,
the key we're here is healthy, because this has Ralph's
nemesters written all over it.
Speaker 9 (19:10):
Again for this franchise, I don't know the key we're here.
Speaker 7 (19:15):
He has to be healthy.
Speaker 9 (19:17):
I don't like giving these players or flowers after one year.
They gotta be consistent, Dad and Daniels. The knock on
him was he was so slim, so small, right, and
injuries were already a concern. So if he's healthy again, healthy,
he puts on a jersey, he should play.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
That's my only point, Orlando, is if he's healthy, not
if he's iffy or or you know he's not up right.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
That I agree with Kelvin.
Speaker 4 (19:42):
I agree with that if he's if he or there's
a chance that he could do some more damage. But
if they clear him the play and and there's uh,
you know, and they's still in n o'hanno whatever.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
I don't have an issue with that. I really don't.
Hear I listen, I hear you.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
My thing is just sometimes I have to do what's
bigger for the friend tis then me to just prove, well,
he's a tough guy, he's one of us.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
I'm going your young man, we need you for the
long haul.
Speaker 1 (20:09):
And it doesn't make any sense. I'm again, this is
Colvin operating under the assumption they're not going to be
in playoff contention. If you look at the NFC right.
Speaker 5 (20:15):
Now, So if they're in playoff contention, what would you do?
Speaker 2 (20:19):
I just don't see it.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
That's not how I didn't ask you that. I asked
you if they were in playoff contention.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Would you there in playoff contention and he's healthy, absolutely healthy,
then than five?
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Okay that's my point, Rob. Do you know if they're
not in playoff contention?
Speaker 8 (20:32):
Rob?
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Well, but if they're not, what if then you then
you could take a look at it and make a determination.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
At that point that's all about playing. No, it's not.
Speaker 1 (20:40):
But if he's what I'm saying, if he's healthy and
they've lost four in a row, yes, but they could
win for in.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
A row and it's not we're not sure. You don't
know that. I don't even How can I count on you?
You can't even pick up games in pigskin pickoff. Now
you're gonna tell me who's gonna win and lose? So
you tell you no, no, because you're you want to.
Speaker 2 (21:00):
I don't want to hear it. They're winning four to row.
Speaker 5 (21:02):
I don't want to hear it.
Speaker 1 (21:04):
Well, well, let me reset like you read sex Shekel City.
Let's do that today. Day hit the You're the kid
who pulls the cord out of the Nintendo when they're
losing Xbox.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
That was by accident. My foot hit the plot.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Oh no, no, no, that was when you were about
to die when the Lions won the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
That's when you pull out your cord.
Speaker 5 (21:24):
I would pull it out.
Speaker 3 (21:25):

Wait a minute, you missed a big IVY League game.
Columbia is taking on Harvard tonight. That game's on ESPN too.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
Make sure to plug anything that's not on Fox. That's
way to go. Is it a chess match?
Speaker 5 (21:51):
It's twenty to nothing at the Harvard.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
That's the oka.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
But thank you Steve, rob and Kelvin on the funky
flashback Friday Achs and pains can sneak in ur the
holiday hustle and bust when the lead can help you
forget the pain and make happy memories instead, which is
one pill. A lead provides up to twelve hours of
body pay relief so you can keep it moving. Use
as directed. Right now, we are down with the King
our man, Sean King, former NFL quarterback, Fox Sports Radio
(22:17):
NFL analyst Real Sean King on Acts.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
What up, bro?
Speaker 8 (22:22):
What's going on? Fellars? Hey man? Shout out to the
Shawn Jackson and yere one getting it done at Delaware State?
Speaker 2 (22:30):
Hey ball, what's the record right now?
Speaker 8 (22:33):
Six and three? They're of fourteen to three at the
half versus Morgan State. Tell them off for him.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
In year one? Nice good shout out to Sean Jackson
doing his thing. How's Deion Sanders doing that Colorado?
Speaker 8 (22:46):
I don't think he'll be there much longer. Rob that's
caught up with him. I never thought Dion really had
the stomach for college football. It was a part of
being a great father. But once Shaloh and Shuder and
Travick left Boulder, I knew it's gonna be some lonely
nights in Colorada. I was wondering if they come to
step down end of the year.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
I don't see guys.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Don't they see guys taking helicopters in and flying in
for the game and concerts before the games and all that.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
What happened all that?
Speaker 8 (23:15):
Well, the stars are gone the doors in Cleveland, Travis Jacksonville, Okay, do.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
You think it's real quick? I don't know we're gonna
go here, but real quick? Do you think it's this
you mentioned he's the stomach for it. Do you think
it's the health.
Speaker 8 (23:29):
I think it's a combination of everything. It's the health
which makes you understand that tomorrow. He'm always promised it's
going to be a part of your son's life, which
is that they've been a part of yours. But he
said the only coach of doors ever known until now.
Sol sher Deanna at this point in his life, would
much rather be able to go to the Browns game,
you know, go support shil Over whatever he's got going on.
(23:51):
And I'm just telling you, I knew this was going
to happen when those guys left folder.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
Hey, Sean, I'm convinced Denver's gonna win the division and
the Chiefs are not going to make the playoffs?
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Am I crazy?
Speaker 8 (24:03):
Absolutely? What about last night which might have been the
all time worst Thursday night football game in history? And
that thing something made you think Denver under Bowl Knicks
looked like the team capable of beating Patrick Mahomes and
the Chiefs when it mattered.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Yeah, because you know what, because I saw I saw
Peyton Manning's throw for one hundred and three yards in
the Super Bowl and win a Super Bowl I did
with one touchdown? Do you remember that, sewn? Okay? So
they did win right with our very little offense.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Correct.
Speaker 8 (24:36):
The difference was that Denver team had an established run game.
Speaker 4 (24:40):
This Denver team does, all I'm saying to you is
with defense, and they've won. They've been able to come back,
especially in fourth quarters, make plays when it matters, and
the bottom line is sports has a short menu, Shawn,
It's wins and losses. That's what matters more than anything.
I don't care how pretty it is is. And I
(25:01):
think they'll get better offensively because they can't play any worse.
Speaker 8 (25:05):
Okay, so let me put context on this. The coach,
the Seahawks and the Broncos. I won't believe in until
I see bow Nick, Daniel Jones and Sam Donald perform
on the big stage and the lecture brightis I have
major question marks, Okay, So their ability to sustain.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
I want to go there. Okay, I want to go
to Daniel Jones. So you don't believe in Jet Daniel
Jones at all.
Speaker 8 (25:31):
I'm not saying at all, I don't believe in him
at the highest level. He's been very fortunate. They've been
out standing on defense. Jonathan Taylor is having an MVP
caliber year. All the breaks are kind of gone their way.
First time last week faced a little adversity. They louse
to the Steelers. I think the Falcons are super live
on Sunday going to Indy. We'll see. I'm happy for
(25:52):
Daniels that he found some success, but I'm saying I
wouldn't buy Stop and Sam Donald, Daniel Jones or bow
Knicks until they come playoff time.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Sean King, our guests on with the on a funky
flashback Friday, Go.
Speaker 8 (26:06):
Go ahead, remember its greatest Sam going to look against
the Commanders, Remember the last taine selling the Vikings uniform
in the playoffs against.
Speaker 2 (26:14):
You don't have to tell me. I'm gonna tell Rona.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
I'm the one who said that I wouldn't resign them
with the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
I would. I'm with you.
Speaker 4 (26:21):
He went to bet in the two biggest games and
probably costs himself millions of dollars, and why the Vikings
were jumped off of him, I don't even doubt it.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
I don't doubt what, Sean, I'm gonna go to. I'm
gonna go to a guy that I know you're big on,
more so him and his team. You know, the Eagles
of the raining champs, we got the Chiefs. Always gonna
be a big topic no matter what.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
You got.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Some merging teams of colts still in little headlines. Packers
get Micah. But some team that's sitting six and two
and if my you know, had a chance to be undefeated,
if their field goal Special Teams was better? Is the
Los Angeles Rams? Matthew Stafford's playing out of his mind?
How good are the Rams right now? And and are
we just are they quiet?
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Moving along?
Speaker 1 (27:00):
And we can look up in you know, January and
they're sitting in the NFC Championship Game.
Speaker 8 (27:05):
I remember coming on this show about a month and
a half of those fans, and I thought stepperd was
one of the best quarterbacks on the planet, maybe arguably
the best. And your co host berated me test He
told me I didn't know what I was talking about.
And the old man just keeps making throw after throw
after throw. The Rams are legit, prick.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
Are they gonna win the Super Bowl?
Speaker 4 (27:26):
They're gonna win it? I want to right now. Is
he gonna win MVP and they're gonna win the Super Bowl?
Is that what you're saying?
Speaker 8 (27:31):
I think I think the Rams are very No, that's not.
Speaker 2 (27:34):
What I asked you.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
I asked you a very two very specific questions, Sean,
and I want you to be on the record.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Just answer the question. Will Matt Stafford be the MVP?
Yes or no?
Speaker 5 (27:48):
Yes or no?
Speaker 8 (27:49):
No?
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (27:50):
Will the Rams win the Super Bowl?
Speaker 2 (27:52):
Yes or no?
Speaker 8 (27:54):
Yes? If they get home. Okay, they have to have.
Speaker 4 (27:58):
Why if he's so great, the best quarterback on the planet,
why does he have to have home field in order
to win the Super Bowl?
Speaker 8 (28:06):
He doesn't.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
They played, They play on a neutral field for the
Super Bowl?
Speaker 2 (28:09):
What is home field?
Speaker 5 (28:10):
Have it to do with it?
Speaker 8 (28:12):
The Eagles are built better for an inclement weather playoff
game than the Rams are. I'm telling you last year,
if that snowstorm don't come, doesn't come at halftime, I
think the Rams speak the Eagles.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
I remember Matthew Stafford having the ball right in Eagles
territory with four downs to go. He had all the
chances in the world to lead them to a victory.
Go look at go watch the tape, and he went
four and out. He went four and out. You're gonna
blame the weather and rob.
Speaker 8 (28:43):
They addressed the problem. They went out and added Davontree Adams.
So guess what, there's been more dynamic. All right. You
asked me a question. Yes, I'm buying stock in the Rams.
Speaker 5 (28:52):
Okay, that's I just asked you if they're gonna win
a Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (28:54):
But you can't. You can't give me an answer, that's all.
Speaker 8 (28:56):
It's hard to win a Super Bowl. I'm not going
to plant my plan on Wheah.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
It's just a football game. This is sports talk radio.
It ain't a life for death.
Speaker 8 (29:06):
I like to be right.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Well, you're wrong a lot too. It's all right, well shot.
Speaker 1 (29:14):
I mean, I just asked about the Rams so and
I knew y'all would get into it. I may or
may not have asked that on purpose, By the way,
I knew if I brought up.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
To Matthew Stephen Rams, how do you never go for it?
I'm Sean. You know me for twenty years.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
I'm right a lot, a lot I've becoming for almost
forty years.
Speaker 8 (29:38):
You have an inability to be practical when it comes
to anything Detroit Sports.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
Was I right last year when I picked him not
to make it back? Make it back to the NFC
Championship game. I think I was right. Barely they got
they got blowed out in that game against Washington.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
No, they didn't.
Speaker 1 (29:56):
Actually, Jameis Williams has done through that interception game. Sean,
one more before we go, I asked earlier. We had
a guest on, but I want to ask you just quickly. Actually,
I'll switch to this game Sunday night Sunday Football. You
got Steelers at Chargers, two teams that, depending on the
night you look at them, you go okay, I like
that next night you have what do you make coming
(30:17):
out of that game?
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Who comes out victorious and what do you expect to happen.
Speaker 8 (30:21):
I think the Chargers probably win it. The Steelers have
no chance. Big picture, Rogers is shot. The reason I
can't fully back the charge is because of the injury bug.
You're talking about two first round All Pro tackles that
are both won out for the year. Is all out
for the year now two?
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Yeah? Yep.
Speaker 8 (30:40):
I mean there's very few teams that's Indian, the National
Football League that can lose both of their starting tackles
and still go win a championship in that season. So
it's unfortunate that the injury book hit the Chargers. But
I like the the direction Harbor had the organization headed in.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
All right, Sew, we'll edit there. Brother, appreciate it as always.
Speaker 5 (31:00):
Hey, Sean, be careful, It's okay.
Speaker 8 (31:04):
Hey listen, Shettle City. We're going to Indiana. Penn State
plus the points, Falcons plus the points, It's gonna be
a bad weekend in Matown.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
I love it all right, thank you.
Speaker 5 (31:16):
I like both of those.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
Thank you, appreciate it. Thank you all.
Speaker 1 (31:20):
Hey on the way we uh YouTube got into it somethingbody.
We gotta address that. That potential MVP candidate.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
We gotta do it. Next to the AA couple. Fox
Sports Radio did I do that?
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in

A couple your boys, Rob Parker kelvin Washington, fuck it
flashback Friday.
Speaker 2 (31:47):
Hey, big shot out to Shaun King. Thank you for
joining us. You missed it.
Speaker 1 (31:51):
Check out the pod. Rob g will get that up
in a minute. You can go check that out as always.
Plus we'll have a best of version coming up in
a little.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
Bit as well.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
For over forty years, IRAQ has been helping customers find
the right tires for how, what and where they drive.
Speaker 2 (32:03):
They ship him fast, to ship him.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Free back by free road has a protection with convenient
installation options like mobile tire installation. That's right, if you're
at work, you're at home, they will come to you
tireraq dot com. It is the way tire buying should
be you trying to corner Sean about the MVP with
Matthew Stafford, and I don't. I mean, I don't have
(32:25):
a clue who's gonna have winning because it's so open
right now halfway through the season. But I will tell you,
Matthew Stafford's stats are absolutely crazy for somebody who's nobody's
kind of talking about right now, because you know, we're
talking about Paul Patrick Mahoon is bad and can a
running back Jonathan Taylor or so on and sover dude,
he is on a tear right now. Twenty one touchdown, interceptions,
(32:47):
sixty seven percent completion.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
He has got his team at six and two.
Speaker 1 (32:52):
I mean, he quietly is having maybe the best because
you know, people are shocked by Daniel Jones and like
I said, Patrick Mahome's coming back and Josh Allen being
reigning MVP. But my gush, I mean, halfway through the season,
he's on pace to be forty two touchdowns and four interceptions.
That's some old peak Aaron Rodgers stuff right there.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
Here's a problem. QBR tenth passer rating sixth. So despite
those numbers you talk about, they don't add up when
Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Those guys are winning the MVPs.
They're right at the top of Patrick Mahomes in QBR.
You know that balances out, That tells you where you're playing.
(33:33):
There's no way you could have those numbers and be
tenth in QBR.
Speaker 1 (33:36):
That means he's the argument to what you were saying,
is you brought up arguably the most talented quarterback. No,
I'm just and arguably the greatest in Tom Brady. Meaning
there's a reason why people say, no, the best quarterback
talent wise ever seen Aaron Rodgers. They might say the
greatest of time success.
Speaker 4 (33:53):
You know, yeah, but even when Lamar has won, he
wasn't tenth in QBRS. What I'm trying to say to you,
I don't think tenth you say, there's a reason why
people are talking about Matthew Stafford despite his numbers.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
That's what I'm saying to you. I just think Also
the storyline is in Juicy there why a fifteen year
old quarterback they didn't want him? Do you remember Sean.
Speaker 4 (34:14):
Mcvayh told him to go go get a deal, go
get on a plane and go to a New York
football giant.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
Remember they didn't even want him under that.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
And his wife want him to go play with her
brother or something like that. But I just think the Rams,
because they've been good now under what ten years call
it with Sean McVay. I think, hey, if I told
you the Rams are good, oh hey, Rams are good.
But he I mean, this is like actually shocking when
you look at the numbers. So again, twenty one touchdowns,
four deceptions, two interceptions is remarkable, especially considering.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
How think QBR though, And.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
I just I don't.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
If you look up and he's tenth in QBR at
the end of the season, and I told you his
team went, uh you know, twelve and five and forty touchdowns,
four hundred and forty five hundred yards, and I'll even
spot up a few interceptions, six or seven interceptions, it's
a great chance he'll win MVP.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
I don't. I don't think think he's gonna be uh
no if he keeps on his track yet.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Ask I'm just asking you, just want you to look.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
I don't think so I'm not gonna pin you answer.
You know, I'm saying, answer is no, because I think
Josh Allen being the reigning if he's It's kind of
like when Lamar like you don't have fatigue with Josh Allen,
but but Lamar thinking he's right there in the mix.
Speaker 2 (35:28):
I do know this.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
If Matthew Staffords duplicates this, like this first half is the.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Second half, he's winning.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
Meaning if they end up they're six and two, so
that's only eight games, so let's just spot him a loss. So,
like I said, they're at thirteen and four, so he
has is.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
He gonna do this? Is he gonna duplicate it? What
do you think? So I'm just asking who do you
think is gonna be to?
Speaker 8 (35:53):
You?
Speaker 2 (35:53):
Got my homes is the m v P. I gotta
look at some schedules right because.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
That I'm just asking, No Rob m VP right now,
I'm just saying, I'm Stafford.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
I'm just asking right now, or who I think is
gonna win?
Speaker 6 (36:08):
Who do you think is gonna win? They're gonna do
everything they can to give it to Mahomes or Allen. Okay,
And that's the reason why you look at Ben m
Jamshad Lamar Mitchell that they are back and.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Forth field last week it was Patrick.
Speaker 6 (36:20):
Was not even having a great season, and they want
to give it to him and mahomes here had two
interceptions two weeks ago and last week, what do you have?
Speaker 2 (36:29):
No touchdowns? Right? And he sells the second best thoughts na.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
Right, But I'm just saying if you look at the
last two weeks, he hasn't played as well as he
was those other games. And and here's the dark horse
is Lamar. From this standpoint, it ain't that dark that's
a horse. No, no, no, a light skin horse. If they
rob g run the table and win nine or you
know what I mean, not out of ten or something
(36:55):
and win the division or whatever. And he puts up
the numbers because his first game back here four touch
downs and no picks. He to me, if the Ravens
were to storm back, could win MVP.
Speaker 6 (37:06):
Well Mark Jackson first in QBR, first and passer rating,
second in yards per attempt and twelfth right now in touchdowns.
It'spite missing or playing with five games.
Speaker 1 (37:17):
That's why I said it's a light skin horse. I mean,
it ain't crazy because Lamar is Lamar. What he does,
it's just comical. Like hens first in QBR, that's crazy, right,
And he does stuff so normally like you'll look up,
he'll have two touchdowns you know, passing one, rushing through
two eighty, ran for ninety like a normal Sunday.
Speaker 2 (37:38):
You're like, dude, that's not normal, that's crazy what he does.
Speaker 6 (37:42):
I'll tell you if I was really betting though, and
I want to put down money in and get.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
Good at it, Drake May So you got Drake May.
I think they could be first in the AFC. I
don't think that.
Speaker 6 (37:52):
I don't think their schedule isn't tough either, just like Buffalo's.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
Yeah, I just think there's no ways coming out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (37:58):
And winning them.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
Came out of nowhere a few years ago on him,
but Lamar, I think there was more to him, Drake May.
Speaker 5 (38:03):
I just I would be stun Roger stunts
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Matthew Stafford gonna win it, dang it
