Achy knee stiff, back joints not cooperating. Some days your
body's just like no way, no how. And on those days,
luckily there's a leave, just one.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
Pill, and a leave provides up to twelve hours of
pain relief so that you keep moving us. That is, uh,
don't forget. Coming up in about twenty seven minutes, it's
the college kids.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
Oh yeah, Clark, get you some college football. Congratulate.
Speaker 4 (02:14):
That's right, Graduate new may be sure we have every
Thursday do a little college football.
Speaker 1 (02:20):
Sierra's the SEC, so we'll talk some football with her
coming up. Looking forward to that as well. People, you
need one to say, that's right, rob Gie.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
Yeah, we got a big game here. And before we
get into the game, we're we're talking about with Jade Daniels.
I'll pull back the curtain because you want to know
what we were talking about. That was throwing off you
because you threw me off from Kevin Washington said something
unbelievably racist.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
He said, I.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Would like Mexican Jordan love so I'm going to add
it to the list. I said, that's not the worst
thing out there. You go, you liked it, all right,
So here we go. So this is just on YouTube
because you know that net. We're on YouTube streaming. It's
gonna get a lot more of this. But in the
times that I filled in, here are some of the
names that I've been called on YouTube.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Who we got.
Speaker 5 (03:01):
The Aladdin Indiana Jones movie extra?
Speaker 2 (03:04):
That's crazy?
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Uh, fake Drake, DJ Khaled's little brother, but Mexican.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Okay, well you know.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Anything?
Speaker 2 (03:20):
You know you oh god, the TV say an you
don't have to you know what your verbal body leg
was said it all. Look at you feeling good? Aaron Judge,
did you hear anything? A major trauma right now?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Give?
Speaker 2 (03:37):
He says, what was the guy's name? I heard it?
I'm glad you.
Speaker 4 (03:45):
Know fake Drake? Yes, there you go.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
You heard one. You heard what rhymes? What is it?
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Kaled's little brother but Mexican? And but Mexican? Is that
not a Laddin filling?
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Okay, shout out to butt Mexican talking about something. Yes,
it was the name, sir, Yeah, Bud Mexican. He was
wasn't it wasn't you on Letterman.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
Oh that was Larry Budd Melman.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
No, that's my new I'm putting I need it on
a T shirt. But Mexican, that's my new one. Sorry
about that. That's a good look for you. That will
be bad. So yes, see where we are right now,
that's what we were talking off.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
You guys are doing that while I'm trying to do
a professional read on a professional rating.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
You in a real way, and you're over here. Every
Judge another home run was ching MLB BRO. I had
to watch because I need to know, because you need
to know. But Mexican.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
If you want more Aaron Judge content, check out the
Inside the Porker podcast. That's right earlier today, a lot
of Aaron Judge conversation.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
You got some John Carlos standing up in there. Yes
on MLV bro. He don't get you excited about Aaron
Judge though.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Oh, I mean he's gonna make the Hall of Fame.
He gets the five hundred home run, well maybe the
first one who doesn't. What do you mean you know
you think it's automatic if he gets five hundred, I
think he does. Mexican, Mexican unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
Yes, let's get back on track.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
We're about ten minutes away from kickoff, big game right
here in Green Bay, the Packers rocking the all white UNI.
He's taking on the Commanders and Jane Daniels and the
reason why this is a big game because obviously everybody
likes the Packers this season, they got Michael Parsons. They're
a you know, very popular pick for popular people to
get to.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
The super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
You know, the Packers are a public team, don't they are?
They in a big way they are.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
But the other.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
Team very quietly is gaining on him in the popularity.
That's because Jane Daniels. Jane Daniels had a rookie season
to remember, but if you ask him about it, you
don't want to talk about it. Because according to ESPN
dot com, they did a long feature on him. Here's
what he said about how he played last year and
what he's looking forward to to build off it. Here
he said, quote, last year was last year. I don't
(05:58):
like people talk about it to me and asked me
about it because it don't mean anything to me. I
don't say I get irritated about it, but kind of
just moving on to be the president, trying to focus
on getting better so I could be better for this year.
I got so much more that I want to accomplish.
Last year was just the beginning. I love that, I
really do. That's mature. That's not like I mastered the
(06:20):
NFL in one year. I'm that dog and this and no,
the sophomore jinks. That ain't that ain't about one pert.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
That's that's been happening forever in the NFL forever. And
you can't even have a better exhibit a than c J.
Stroud After his first year. You remember they would picked
for the super Bowl. The next year, everybody was, oh
my god, c J. Stroud and they just added some
other players and look at that they're loaded.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (06:49):
They took a step back last year.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
C J.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
Stroud wasn't that good this year, rob G. I don't
have the numbers, but I know that they didn't score
a touchdown last week?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Am I right? For his life?
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I mean, it hasn't been the same since year one.
And all Jane Daniels is saying is that was nice.
I got work to do.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
I need to get better, and I'll tell you this.
Look that's all I'm sounded insane.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
You didn't say anything mlbre Bro was about to hop
in the day, very nice to.
Speaker 4 (07:26):
John Stone's retired, But that was a John Carlo. Uh No,
But but uh I like. I like the young man's approach.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
I mean, Jane and Daniels. To me is is sometimes
you watch something special and you go like, all right,
that looks different. And to me, looking at him and
everything I've ever heard, all his old coaches, everything we
heard when he's at LSU, the stuff we heard when
he was at Arizona, Arizona State. Herm Edwards had him
(07:58):
for a bit there. This kid is all He's kind
of a Kobe in that maniacal approach. All we hear
all he does is football, football. Football. He cares about
is football. He's just locked in the football. That's that
is his routine. And that's why he's wise enough to
know last season ain't got nothing to do with this season.
(08:18):
You can't be feeling yourself, can be smelling yourself. You
got to be locked in and already, you know, Game
one he looked like he was locked in. And I
think it makes him special. He's got a lot of
You've heard me talk about this before. He's got a
lot of starts under his belt before he even got
to the league. And also he is very, very efficient,
and his completion percentage is so high last season I
(08:40):
think with sixty nine percent completion percentage. So he is
scary and he's a sp I mean, he is special
when he gets out of that pocket too. Somehow, as
slender as he is, he doesn't take take many hits,
so he's just locked in.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
But I will say this, I fully expect him to
take a step back from that first year. I fully
expect him not to. There's no way he can repeat that.
And you gotta remember they're about three would you say,
three games last year they had no business winning.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
One was the Bears.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
We were talking about that, but that turned their season
around where they had these three games where they should
have lost or whatever.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
And I'm not taking anything away from me.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
I just think it's natural that there is a little
step back because nobody they weren't.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
They were so high on CJ.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
Stroud that they picked them for the Super Bowl like
a lot of people, and then you.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
Heard anything about the Texas this year.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Zero.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
It went from that to their going to the Super
Bowl to nothing this year.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Their their issue now CJS. Here's why I don't think
the CJ. Strou I get it you and I've talked
about it all last year. Why I don't see this happening.
The Jayden CJ. Stroud is a for the most part
part pocket present quarterback. He has to be in the pocket.
He can get out a little bit more when he
needs to. And their offensive line has been terrible last year.
He was sacked a whole bunch, he was hit a
(10:02):
whole bunch. He was running for his life. And then
you look at Week one, same thing where Jade and
Daniels a little bit different is his ability and his escapability,
the ability to run and get out and get up
and then he likes to and he's fluid as a runner,
and this is what adds an element to him. And
I think I look at him as somebody who can
continue to be on the trajectory to actually get better,
not even stay status quo, actually get better. And you
(10:24):
look at sometimes he.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Could get better, but I just don't think he's going
to be his second year. I think once they have
more tape on you, once they know your tendencies, like
you scheme differently, and it doesn't mean he has to
make an adjustment too because they see it. You know
this all the time when quarterbacks are new and they
really don't know. It's almost like in baseball when you
first come up from the big league. You see a
(10:46):
lot of guys get off right away. You know why,
because all they're doing is throwing fastball. First, you got
to show us that you can hit the fastball. Once
you do that, now here comes the other stuff. And
now that's where guys get mixed up and get sent
back down to them because they handed a curve ball
all that stuff. So I just think they will, they will,
you know, just for him, because he's two dimensional.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
The one area where he wasn't and Rob g correct
me for wrong. I think it was seventy percent of
his passing was to the right side. And I think
a lot of teams you mentioned, they're all right, he
loves to just kind of get out and look to
that right I'm sure he's aware of it and his
team defense. So I would imagine that his team hopefully
is saying, let's swing it left a little bit dision, predictable, predictable,
(11:34):
But I just I just think he's just a unique talent.
He's hungry, and he's a film junkie. We hear about
he gets there are early stays, and I just think
he's too talented and I like that. They they didn't say,
all right, McLaurin, that's too much money, get out of here.
They know we want to be good and win now
and compete now, so they sign him. They got Deebo Samuels,
who came off to a nice week one for him.
So they're bringing in guys and keeping guys, retaining guys
(11:57):
to keep giving him weapons. So I actually don't think
he's going to take a step back now. I'm not
gonna say they're gonna win twelve games in my win
ten or eleven, but I don't think he individually is
actually going to because numbers, his numbers were so good
they were. I think it's just thirty eight one hundred
passing and then like eight hundred something rushing.
Speaker 4 (12:13):
I just I can't imagine those numbers.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Again. I think he's in the ninety percentile of that say,
maybe maybe it's thirty seven, maybe it's you know, seven fifty.
I think he stays right in that realm. Even against
the Giants, they were okay, I mean the then lighted up.
They don't have to do it with the Giants.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
No, I know, I'm just saying, I don't what war's
final numbers do we have?
Speaker 2 (12:33):
I think, yeah, I got it right here. Week one
he ended up with two hundred and thirty three yards
passing nineteen for thirty at a touchdown, and then and
then rushing he had thirty yards rushing.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Yeah, that's not a big day right there. I mean,
but you know it is the Giants. I just sorry,
sixty eight yards, right. I just think it'll be what
you call I just think it'll be a little bit
of a regressed up, Yeah, a little bit. I'm not
saying he's falling off the cliff or anything. But nobody
more love than CJ. Strout And I get it. Injuries happen,
people adjust, people adjust to you, all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
So we will see. I think he's just a little
more uniquely talented, he being Jaden than CJ. Stroud.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
All Right, h eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox

is bound to take a step back this season? Or no,

(15:31):
you're seeing your own anthem. You're the main star. Gibbs.
Marla Gibbs sang her own TV themes.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
Yes and Rob g the name of the show is
not to twenty seven, it's too to seven.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
I just want you to know Shire. Yeah, you guys
are twenty seven to seven. All right, our couple Robin
Kelvin on the TV themes on Thursday, All tonight we are.
We got Thursday night football kicking off right now. Nothing nothing,
I know the Packers are moving the ball. I haven't
seen it. I can't see exactly where they are, but Mato,
keep you up there with that. And just a little bit.
We got the college kids with Sierra Clark gonna be
(16:04):
coming up in a little biting day, Bud. We'll talk
some old talk some SEC football. Packers pass midfield right now.
And he's white Jersey. I'm weird. I'm not weird, look weird.
White helmet. It's a helmet. That's if they had the
yellow gold whatever you want to call that helmet. I'd
be all right, I could.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
I'm gonna say this. I know I'm the old man
in the room. Stop with all the uniform change.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Dare you interrupt our money? We try to make more money.
So you could buy that jersey? About that jersey that
was old? You gotta buy this, Rob, I didn't want
to say about a bit of the jersey. Would black?
You be okay with it? No, I'm not. That's racist.
We've noticed the one time I'll have I'll have Robs
back on this. He does like good old traditions, Like
right now we're watching the Yankees Tigers.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
That's a good and the Yankees could sell a ton
of black jerseys, Rob g Am, I right.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
Yes, they could. They could, and they won't do it.
Speaker 1 (16:52):
They have the same jersey for one hundred and fifty
years to say they've never changed it. They won't put
a name on the back, they won't do anything to it.
Speaker 4 (17:01):
And even if the.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Tigers, for the most part, I like the block letters
Detroit the road uniform and it's just gray. I love
that uniform. And I know they've got some other this
is a different one they're wearing today. But that block
letter one, I love that. I just like some like
two uniform jail like you watch the packers look weird
and all of it.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Was it last week one there was another team. They
had their own different colors and you couldn't even see.
I don't know if there's a flag on the place.
There's a hole.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
I saw, I saw a hole.
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Somebody down already, man, man, all right. For over forty years,
Sirak has been helping customers find the right tires for
howood and where they drive. Ship fast and free back
by free Road has a protection with convenient installation options
like mobile tier installation, tyrack dot com the way tied
buying should be. All right, let's get a phone call.
We're just talking about Jaydan Daniels. Will he take a
step back? Will he get better? What are your thoughts
(17:51):
on Jayson Daniels as were getting, you know, obviously getting
watch him on Thursday Night Football too eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox. Let's take some costs? All right?
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Dre Andre in Massachusetts, you're on the couple of Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 9 (18:02):
What's up, Drey, Hey, how you doing. Thanks taking the call. Listen.
I see Jade Daniels taking another step forward in his
sophomore year based on who he is as an individual.
He's a worker, right, He's not going to rest on
his laurels. He also has institutional strength based on the
fact the commanders made the right decision bringing dan Quinn
in there to run their organization. Again, Cowboys could have
(18:24):
taken that chance, they didn't. Dan Quinn came in there
and got the ship running right in the first year,
huge win against the Lions to advance the NFC Championship game.
So he's well.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
I did get help though. Don't forget Jared Goff gave
up for a turnovers in.
Speaker 2 (18:36):
There, and he was throwing alley to the wrong team.
I don't know what he was doing.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
I mean, am I right or not on that?
Speaker 9 (18:43):
No, Detroit has not been ready for prime time in
two straight seasons, so they did blink as he did
the year before against the forty nine er. So he
got some help. But also, you know, he's got My
point with Jade and Daniels is he's got people around
him to gut him and lead him in the right direction.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
I like where he isn't. I'm all I've got to
relax though. Remember Mom would let it be great. Who
is he sitting next to again? Yeah, Mom wouldn't let
them be great. Mom was doing a little bit. I
was just sitting there and you know, lett him be great.
Speaking of Jayden, Jayden Reid is out right now. Uh
for the Packers he caught it would have been a
(19:16):
touchdown the brood for a holding, but then landed on
the shoulder. I'm sure Mounts you can have an update
on that, uh for us in just a little bit.
But yeah, that's a good game, man, this will be
a good one. This again, both teams are kind of even,
like even if which one one of the team is
gonna lose. But I think how they played the barometer
to get.
Speaker 1 (19:31):
Washington going to Green Bay and losing is not the
end of the completely their games. As long as you compete,
give it your wall. You're not gonna win every game.
I mean, that's not what you're looking for. Do you
want to win, Sure you do, but you want to
play well and that's really where you gotta be.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Why are you bringing up the Lions? They show didn't
They didn't real It was like they forgot there was
an NFL game. Uh so, all right on the way,
Like I said, we got the college kids with Seeerr Clark.
That'll be fun. We get to talk some college football
with her specific s E. C. And a little bit
later on Robie's cooking up something for shop Talk. We'll
see who he asks for that as well. Right now, Mexican.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
With Mazi, What do you think about that, Bud Mexican?
Mexican is crazy? What is that?
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Mexican? You said it?
Speaker 7 (20:22):
It was so funny because you were just so honest.
Speaker 10 (20:24):
You were like Bud Mexican, like you weren't even trying
to make a joke.
Speaker 4 (20:27):
That was so funny. You did do that?
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Do in stereo?
Speaker 3 (20:35):
Is around?
Speaker 4 (20:36):
Sound?
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Let me you saying, go ahead, don't do it? Go ahead?
Did I do that?
Speaker 4 (20:43):
I gotta give a little more, Nail, I can't. Did
I do.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
The fact that you harmonized with yourself is just crazy?
Did I do that?
Speaker 7 (20:54):
Is that a little bit better for you?
Speaker 2 (20:55):
I can see I be waking up Bill of a
nice screaming nightmare. I have Rob in or surround sound.
Speaker 3 (21:02):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot Com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to
listen live.
Speaker 2 (21:14):
This is about to be so prevalent. You can't tell
you Keith that they can make some money off. It'll
help them cousins or family members.
Speaker 4 (21:22):
While it's so easy, it's so easy.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
This man, they got your team. You know your twenty
three is in the first half.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Of y you know the quarterback game playing you know
what I mean? Or you know somebody ain't right.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
I'm just saying quarterback right, Hey, that's inside the trade
over under said at twenty five completions.
Speaker 10 (21:43):
Absolutely, the players have not been named as the investigation
remains ongoing. Let's go to baseball, because Aaron Judge has
hit another home run, yes, another one forty six on
the season. He drove in his one hundredth run and
he tied Joe DiMaggio on the career homerown list for
the Huers. Say al mvp ay, he's trying to three
(22:04):
hundred and sixty one. Also, Gien Carlos stand also homers.
So right now the Yankees are on top of the
Tigers six to one. It's the bottom of the fourth inning.
They also have the bases loaded and still have two
outs to go in the Bronx. Marlin's over the Nationals
if you care to zero. Bottom of the seventh inning.
Rails are edging the Guardians two to one. Top of
the fifth inning, and the Phillies are on the scoreboard
Auto Camp with a two run shot. Mets are still
(22:25):
up though, as they're trying to snap their five game
losing streak.
Speaker 4 (22:27):
It's four two bottom of the fifth.
Speaker 7 (22:30):
Back to you, guys, yeah put it.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
Appreciate you, Ni, thanks you. It's the Oacoba Robin Kelvin
on a TV theme song, Thursday's been a great one
this far, Alex, appreciate you aking ee. Stiff back joints
not cooperate. Some days body is just like nope. And
on those days, thankfully there is a leave and with
just one pill Ille will provide up to twelve hours
of pay relief so you can keep moving. Please use
(22:55):
as direct cay on what's just.
Speaker 7 (22:57):
Want to shout out somebody in the live feed on YouTube. Oh,
Fernando finally recognizing the goat on the show. IM just saying, oh.
Speaker 2 (23:03):
He shouted you out, okay? Or Manci's great don figure,
all right, we'll shout out to you thank you. I'm
still about to clip your ponytail. That's neither here nor there.
It's time now for college kids.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
It's time for the college kids here on the odd
color a look at this week's college football through the
eyes of the young, young inexperience. They swear they know
college ball takes it into the job. Yeah, right, fundamentals
are going to show up. Are there take sophomoric or
graduation worth it? Robin Calvin will aside, bring them.
Speaker 2 (23:37):
On, that's right, college kids Week two.
Speaker 5 (23:41):
Moving over to the SEC though this week, and in
order to do so properly, we had to bring in
an e lead ball nowhere from that conference, none other
then Believe Network's own Sierra Clarks here.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
How are you.
Speaker 9 (23:54):
Good?
Speaker 3 (23:54):
How are you?
Speaker 11 (23:55):
Thank you for having me?
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Awesome?
Speaker 2 (23:58):
Doing great, great, looking forward to.
Speaker 5 (23:59):
It all right, Just like last week, Sierra's got three
very hot takes, all related to SEC college football. So
let's get started. You guys, tell her if it takes
our sophomoric graduation worthy, here we go.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
Take number one.
Speaker 5 (24:13):
As you guys know, Alabama had a crushing loss in
Week one of Florida State. They rebounded in a big
way though last week seventy three to nothing. Matter of fact, however,
Sierra maintains even after that big win, the Alabama dynasty
is OvR over Sierra.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Tell us why.
Speaker 11 (24:34):
I just think every single sports dynasty comes to an
end eventually. We saw with UCLA basketball, Indiana basketball, even
the Patriots, and now it's in college football with the
Alabama Crimson Tide, simply because Nick Saban is not there anymore.
That is why before the Florida State game, the FSDU
quarterback Tommy Costianos even said they don't have Nick Saban
(24:56):
to save them anymore. I don't see them stopping me.
At first that was a crazy take, but I was like,
this Alabama team looks exhausted, They're not as physical, and
it's just not the same. Nick Saban had a military
ran football program that was out of this world. I
think now that he's not coaching anymore, we can see
how much of a dominant coach he was and how
(25:17):
much the players not only respected but kind of we're
scared of him, and we don't see that anymore. And
I think also a lot with nil and the transfer portal,
the playing field is a lot more. Even teams don't
have as much.
Speaker 9 (25:28):
Depth as they used to.
Speaker 11 (25:30):
And so I think that Alabama dynasty is over. There's
going to be a lot more even when it comes
to who's coming out the SEC and winning these championships.
Speaker 2 (25:38):
All right, I think that is graduation worthy. Congratulations you graduated,
no to I mean you you hit on just all
the points. So just to just to add a little
bit more context, I think with so many teams now
are out there that are able to get these players
the transfer portal as you mentioned, I mean that is
there's no continuity and that's what Alabama would. They'd bring
(26:00):
you in as a you know, freshman cornerback and you
might not play for a year two, but you got
better and better and better, so that you'd have two
years of starting and they just had a machine like
thing that kept going. They don't have that as much now,
and other teams have developed it. So I don't think
that they will they be good. Yes, will they win
one maybe every couple, two, three, four years, yes, But
the idea of annually or being in it I think
(26:21):
is gone.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
And Sierra, I'm gonna say you're college worthy of graduation
worthy as well. I say congratulate, But the only.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
Thing I'm gonna say is that this was an early graduation,
because this was over January ten, twenty twenty four, when
he resigned and Nick Saban said he was done because
people forget and I get to school like Alabama, but
after Bear Bryant, it was dramas Bear Bear for a
long time before Nick Saban showed up.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
So it ain't just the school, It ain't just the
tradition of Alabama and all that. There were dry times
there at Alabama and they're gonna be why again this
time around?
Speaker 5 (27:03):
The next good stuff take number two. This one is
a doozy and I love it. Sierra is looking at
this college football scoreboard this weekend and she sees a
lot of big games. Right number sixteen A and m
Versus number eight, Notre Dame number eighteen, South Florida number five,
Miami number six, or should be number three, Utah number fifteen, Tennessee.
(27:23):
But she said not hell with that. The most exciting
game of the weekend by a long shot, Arkansas and
Ole Miss Sierra tell us why.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
You got some.
Speaker 11 (27:35):
I could be a bit biased because I have covered
the Razorbacks for several years, but Arkansas is a team
that has always overlooked. They always get a really tough
schedule when it comes to the SEC ever since they've
joined the league in the nineties, and this Arkansas team
is just very underrated. They've been seeing you know, they
were ranked really low and all of that. But they're
taking on an ole Miss team and not a lot
(27:56):
of people know about this rivalry that goes back and forth.
I mean two thousand and one when Arkansas played ole
Miss and Eli Manning was the quarterbacks for the Rebels
at the time. That game went to seven overtimes. At
that time, that was the longest college football game ever.
So this game always gets pretty heated. The closeness of
the game is always really close. But this year is
really special because we get to see Arkansas's quarterback Taylan
(28:19):
Green finally come into himself. He's been injured last year
and now we can see that that kid can run
the football. He's coached by Bobby Petrino, other offensive coordinator,
who of course developed Lamar Jackson, and there was a
picture of him last week hurling over a defender from
the opposing team who was like almost identical to the
way Lamar Jackson has done it. So Tylan Green is
(28:41):
just a guy to watch and then Ole Miss. There
was lots of hype with the Rebels year after year
because of their head coach, Lane Kiffin, who has been
in college football for a very long time time, very
established coach. He hasn't really won the big one yet,
and so now he has his young quarterbacks Austin Simmons
nineteen years he's already graduated college, by the way, if
(29:02):
we were talking about graduation, and he has a lot
of hype with He helped him beat Georgia last year
when their quarterback Jackson Dark was.
Speaker 1 (29:09):
Out, let me jump in here, go ahead, right, I'm
gonna say this is sophomorick.
Speaker 2 (29:17):
Back to back to his cool.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Sierra South Florida beat Florida last week, and now they
got a chance to beat Miami. That would be the
Florida two step, right, a big win against Florida and
then they can double up on that Miami.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
That's the big game that I want to see this
coming week. Kevil, where are you Sierra? That was sophomoric?
Speaker 11 (29:41):
Back to is cool? Back to It's cool.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
You took the words out of my mouth. Rob I
had that game listed as another one as well, and
there's a couple of games that are out there that
you know you could look at and say, Georgia Tennessee.
There's a handful. So, yes, you were biased. I appreciate
you being honest that you were biased, that you covered
the Razorbacks. But there are some other games that I
want to see now. If they win and it's a
competitive game, maybe next week if you bring back Arkansas,
(30:06):
we can have that conversation. But for right now, you
are still a sophomore. Y'all are rude now?
Speaker 5 (30:14):
And there we go last one College kids with see
Eric Clark Believe network host here with the odd couple,
the hottest take of the night. Okay, hold on, Sierra
believes that the winner. So this weekend's LSU Florida and
Georgia Tennessee showdowns, the winner of those two games will
face off in the SEC CHAMPIONSIP game at the end
of the year. She's calling after week two, Sierra, explain yourself, well,
(30:37):
to go back.
Speaker 11 (30:38):
On the South Florida Miami thing. The reason why I
want to avoid that game is because I'm a Florida
grad and we played the Florida obviously lost to South Florida,
and then they play Miami the next week, So I
kind of want to just pretend that game doesn't exist.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
About to go back to I didn't know you on
the team. You said, we have to say it. Oh yeah, yeah,
I'm just kidding.
Speaker 9 (30:59):
Sorry, I'll just but to go.
Speaker 11 (31:02):
Back to the original question, LSU has lots of high
petting into this season. I am looking forward very much
to Florida LSU.
Speaker 9 (31:08):
It's just more of.
Speaker 11 (31:09):
One of the sex yer matchups. It's always a crazy rivalry.
But lscu's quarterback Garrett Nussmeier extremely strong with the arm.
LSU fans have a lot of expectations this year. They
want national championship or bus. But they didn't look that
great against Louisiana Tech last year. They didn't run the
football that well, but they could be playing to their opponent.
(31:29):
Who knows. And so they played Florida, which Florida, as
we thought, lost to South Florida. I think LSU will
win this game. I just don't think Florida's quarterback DJ
Lagway feels comfortable yet. He's been injured a lot through
spring and fall. But I think this LSU, if they
blow Florida out and show how dominant they are. I
think that that team will end up in the SEC Championship.
As for Georgia Tennessee, that is the other one that
(31:51):
I think one of those teams will end up in
the SEC Championship game. I'm leaning more Tennessee because I
just really impressed with their quarterback Joey Aguilar and how
you know, he just came in from app State and
Ucla basically at a trade with their old quarterback Nikio Yamalayafa,
who's at UCLA now. And I think that's just going
to be a shootout game in Neyland Stadium, it's one
(32:13):
of the best college football environments. And both of those
teams have played topcakes teams this year, except for Tennessee.
They played Syracuse not that impressive really, So I think
that this will be an intense game and it's going
to really show us who is the dominant team.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
In the well and that and that is why you
are graduation congratulates up. I mean, you pretty much said
it all. I just think those are some of the
better teams than you see what Georgia has been able
to do the last handful of years. And I think,
as again they win this, they've kind of put themselves
in a nice track to get to the SEC championship
game and then of course ultimately college football playoffs. So
(32:51):
I'm not mad at you on that pick two out
of three. You're graduating with me.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
Well, I'm gonna say it was sophomore two. It is
only week two.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
It's early.
Speaker 1 (33:01):
It's just too early to crown people. And they're going
to the championship game. So many things can happen. Injuries,
a fluke, laws, we see that kind of stuff happening.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
So I'm not there with you, Sierra.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
I think it's just too early to say that that's
what's gonna happen. Uh, And we don't have to worry
about the next ten or twelve weeks in college football.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
But anyway, I try, Sierra. There you go, Sierra, thank you,
Thank you so much, Sierra Clark TV. Give her a
follow college kids. It's week two in the bag. We'll
be right back at it again next Thursday. So thank you, Siera.
Appreciate it. Nice job, nice job, no doubt. All right,

didn't even know own radio, so I jumped up home.
Speaker 4 (35:03):

Speaker 5 (35:46):
That's right to shop talk. Here in the Eye Couple.
The same when we talk about something happen outside of
the world is sports. This week's topic comes to us
from it house. That's because we got some drama building.
I know you heard that, yes, but what's going on?
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Going on?
Speaker 5 (35:58):
A well deserved vacation. She leaves later this week. I
think on Sunday where.
Speaker 10 (36:03):
I'm gonna go to Orlando and go to all the
theme parks.
Speaker 5 (36:05):
And that's a cool story. But the most important thing
is that Bri here yesterday doing the updates, offered very generously, said, Hey,
I will drive you to the airports.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
You can go to your flight.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
I know it's out of my way, but I would
love to take you. Mad says no, hell no, I
don't want you to drive. This fight back and forth
now for weeks. So, guys, here's the question. Who's more
out of bounds in this situation, Bri for insisting over
and over that she be the one to drive Mansey
to the airport or Monsey, who, no matter how many
(36:39):
times her good friend offers, keeps saying thanks, but not this.
Speaker 10 (36:42):
Hold on a second, there are details missing heads digest version.
Speaker 7 (36:50):
I can give you the reader's digest.
Speaker 10 (36:52):
She lives in Seal Beach and I live in Studio City.
She's gonna come to Studio City on her off date.
Speaker 1 (36:57):
To take me to La Can I say this you MANSI,
when you have a friend, no stop, stop, who wants
to hang out with you? And do something hang out
in the car, Yes, and the conversation on to the airport.
She wants to be around you, she wants to hang out,
and I think that it's a nice gesture and you
(37:18):
should just accept it and say thank you.
Speaker 4 (37:21):
Let her do that come from you didn't ask I didn't.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Yes. And also, like I told her, I'll call you
when I'm on the hoover if you.
Speaker 4 (37:33):
Want to talk about that would be different if you
asked her to go all the way out of her way.
She's just being nice as a friend, and I think
you should just embrace it and open up your heart
and say, you know what, she's a beautiful friend and
this is awesome. That makes me.
Speaker 7 (37:51):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (37:52):
Because multiple reasons. One, Bree should know her friend and
know that her friend is not going to let her
do that, so you know, and you say, all right, girl,
I know you're not gonna let me now, Brie offering
was the right thing to do. He girl, you let
me know if you need me, No, sure, And then
you said that and then you can move on and
both hat be Hey, Brie was a great friends. You
tried and you said no, thank you. Because one thing
(38:13):
we all know, living in La traffic and trying to
get to the lax A No Joe and by the
way four five on the weekends is about to be
crazy with these these what kind of sun do you? Yeah,
I'm a friend who said, dear, you ain't gotta worry
about it. That's what ubers Forbri. I'm that's right, Alex
Gibria ding. That was a good one, Alex. Where are you, Alex?
(38:36):
Robb g Alex, Alex?
Speaker 7 (38:38):
I just got a text from Ephraim who said, can
Ron Parker open his heart to me? That's what I
just saw. No, Rob, I'm actually in agreement with you.
Speaker 2 (38:47):
What was that?
Speaker 7 (38:48):
I'm an agreement with He said, can you take them
to the airport? I'm in agreement with you because here's
my thing, right, just let me, let me let me
go real quick. MANSI, You're not wrong, Like, that's a
lot for somebody to do, but somebody gonna do it
unless they want to.
Speaker 2 (39:00):
Right.
Speaker 7 (39:00):
For example, nobody wants to help somebody move, right, Am
I wrong? Would you want to help somebody on your
off day?
Speaker 3 (39:06):
No?
Speaker 7 (39:06):
But if you offered, like, oh I heard your moving,
I got you. I'll help you out if you need
you're like, oh my god, thank god, that's all you know,
how much is gonna cost all that? You could buy
Bree coffee and shut it out?
Speaker 2 (39:15):
Let me pare her. I told her let me pay
you like that's getting weird, completely out of her way,
and that's the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (39:23):
It's like, it's making me look bad. She's making me
look bad.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
No, I'm not going to I'm.
Speaker 4 (39:31):
In the morning off at seven. That's Sunday.
Speaker 2 (39:36):
I'm team on this one. Yes, a friend, man, she gets.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
Off at seven overnight ships.
Speaker 2 (39:43):
She wants to be nice. That's a bad friend. By
me letting her do that, I'm tim Monty because also, Brie,
don't you have your weird fixations where you want to
prove your friendship?
Speaker 6 (39:51):
Now I gotta make you do Manzi, this is for you.
Thank you for being a friend. That's all that bridge
trying to do.
Speaker 2 (40:03):
I don't need you to take me to the airport, girl,
I got a lift or an uber. Matter of fact,
I can call a limo if I need to, And
what if I want to ride with my boo girl.
That's why I don't need you
