Talking Your chance to trash anyone anything in the world
of sports, and we will not NT interrupt.

You NT no, you get to get it just takes
off when you got a chance to do that coming
up in about forty five minutes or so.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Hey, hey, rob G, there was a report out to
their story today and Packers quarterback Jordan Love it was
a player the NFL's top one hundred plays and my goodness, grace,
did he take a drop?

Speaker 5 (01:51):
You know what's funny is that rob does not care,
does not respect players, polls and opinions unless it.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
Works for it works in his narrative. And he's like,
rob G, let's do this one. You don't think you
know what got to pull a carton back? Hey, hey,
rob G, you know what else he loves to. I'm
shocked you didn't tell let me do it. Hey, Alex,
can you get the Caitlin Clark drop.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Because I thought you would do this for Jordan Love
him dropping.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
In the rankings like that. Yes, we need let me
throw you to all like that.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Let me be Chris Paul coming back to the Clippers
for you throw this ally you I thought you had
that ready, Alex, can you.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Get to that's right?

Speaker 5 (02:31):
It's better than to get Kawhi ready, because this joke
is going to be really good.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
What I never I Alex knows he's shooting like Dawhite. However,
for the free throw line about thirty five, good tell
them the truth.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Rob G when I when I, when I C Alex
or whatever? You go, Oh God, here we go. I
know it's gonna be a bad joke, yes, but here
we go.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
So in twenty twenty four, Jordan Love had that breakout
end of the season and he debuted on the NFL
one hundred at number thirty four, which was big for
him considering again it was his first year as a starter,
and to be that high in the list right out
of the gate was a big deal. Well, after the
twenty twenty four season, which was of course injury riddled

(03:18):
to start off, with generally uneven from him and the
Packers as a whole, he fell all the way to
number sixty eight in this year's NFL one hundred, a
big fall from grace for the Packers quarterback.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
And you know what, it is totally warranted because.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
I think he got paid off of that Packers' playoff
game against Cowboys, right, and then we realized what happened
Calvin was the pack the Cowboys defense was terrible. Everybody
was lighting them up right for the next five games
right the following year, So it wasn't just like he
came in and destroyed him. But at that time, you
were like a playoff game in Dallas, and he put
up a forty piece or whatever it was, right right,

(04:01):
But last year thirty three hundred yards, twenty five touchdowns,
eleven interceptions, four fumbles, sixty three percent quarter completion ratio.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
So it just wasn't good. And here's the other thing.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
He's he's prone to throw at least two picks, so
to have two turnovers a game, like two picks a
game at one stretch, he really has struggled. And this
is the thing I'm gonna say about Jordan Love. I
always questioned how good he was, and I know he
got the deal. He's gonna be their quarterback and they
hope to have three quarterbacks for forty years, right between

(04:42):
Brett fav Aaron Rodgers and now Jordan Love, and I
get it.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
As an organization, that's the best thing, so that it's
a great accomplishment.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
It really is to be able to have that, because
you know, you look at Pittsburgh and.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
The Brown and quarterbacks but there's a lot of teams.
The Jets have had a million quarterbacks two thousand lines exactly.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
But here's the thing, and this is when I questioned
it and Rob G this is not a second guest.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I say this because Rob G knows this.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
When they had a chance to trade Aaron Rodgers to Denver,
do you remember that, coming off off of MVP and
they were gonna get a quarterback, they moved up to
get Jordan Love.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
Like all the signs were there, like they had.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Him for they had already had him. I'm sorry, they
had him for like three years or whatever. So we
were sitting there, so they had an idea of who
he was. They watched him in practice, all the stuff,
and that's why when they moved off of Brett Farb
they had Aaron Rodgers. Remember he didn't play for three years,
but they knew what they had something they didn't even
the last time when he was like I don't know

(05:44):
if I'm a player or not, they were like, no, no,
we're gonna make it.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
We'll make the decision for you. You're not playing with
us next year. How's that?

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Which they could have done with Aaron Rodgers gotten a
Hall coming off of an MVP. But when they didn't
make that trade, I questioned how good he really is
because that was the most opportune time to have your
quarterback and.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
You get a hole for your.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Aging quarterback at that point, do you know what I mean?
And so that always I always questioned it. But then
you had the big playoff game, so I was like, well,
maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not watching them every day,
but that was pretty damn impressive. You got to give
the guy credit, but the numbers just haven't been good
and a lot of turnovers.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I don't think you have to be wrong.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
I think you can be right in this insense of
this is bigger than to me, the larger conversation of
is he good or not. I think Jordan Love is
going to be good. I think he'll have a couple
of Pro Bowls throughout his career. He'll be a nemesis
for the Lions and the Bears and the Vikings for
some years. I think he'll be fine. Here's my bigger
conversation with this, the idea that we keep crowning people
after a year. In his case, really after eight games

(06:52):
he goes crazy. Eighteen the last eight games of that season,
he gets eighteen touchdowns one interceptions, goes into that postseason
Stroy as the Cowboys, and we're like, look at Patrick Montana,
like we were ready to call him everything. Look at
you know, Tom Manning. We were just calling him the
combination of all these greats. And that's to me, the
bigger conversation is we keep ready to crown somebody, right,

(07:14):
It's okay to let somebody grow, It's okay to let
some things play out a little bit before we all
of a sudden want to start proclaiming things. And all
of a sudden, Jordan Love is gonna be the this.
Jordan Love's gonna be to that. And now there is
some times there's gonna be regression. Might I throw a
couple names at you.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
CJ.

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Stroud looked amazing year one. We like, oh shoot, CJ.
Strout's doing to the ones.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
CJ.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
Stroud looks like he's gonna be a good quarterback for
years to come. But he took some regression last year.
The offensive line wasn't great, they were missing some players,
there were some injuries, but overall he would admit he
took a step back. Mechanics looked off a little bit
it happens. Do you remember a guy who is now
the MVP, Josh Allen didn't look amazing year two turnovers
like crazy, and everybody started to question.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
But for every guy you mentioned, I can mention guys
too who got worse and never recovered, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
That's so I'm gonna get your point on it.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
I'm not questioned saying that like it's not automatic that
because these other guys bounce back.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
I'm saying he may be bad. My point, I think
he's gonna be good.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
But what I'm saying is it's okay to just say, oh,
Jordan Love looked really good that year. Let's see what
we got. We we you know, I mean you and I,
but we the mean we Joe, Oh, he's gotta be this.
He's gonna be the greatest. And another current example will
be jayde and Daniels. I expect Jane Daniels to be good,
but they already got him the fifth best quarterback. And again,
what happens in the NFL catch teams by surprise, We

(08:37):
already know you catch the film on you you know
things start Okay, now we're gonna lock you up. Now
we've seen it. Now we know your tendencies. For instance,
Jaye Daniels did not like to throw over the middle.
I think seventy percent of his throws were to the
right side. So they start to get these numbers on you,
and again they make it more difficult. Jared Goff balling
out going to Super Bowls the first struggle so much

(08:58):
so they said, get out of here. Yes, she took
us to the super Bowl, but we were so and
app in the Super Bowl. Get out of town, bring
us Matthew Stafford. And so my point is, I think
the larger point for me because I think Jordan Love's
gonna be fine. But is that the minute somebody looks
good for a handful of games or a season, we're
already saying this person is the next best and greatest thing.
And I'm like, yo, it's okay to pump the brakes
and say I want to see another year or two.

(09:20):
Can you show me some prolonged success. And it's okay
to say, all right, I like that, I like what
I've got now. But we are ready to act like
somebody's in all be all right off the bat, especially
that position that is difficult.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
And now the reading the book is out.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
On you well, but some of the numbers are just
no quarterback has more multi interception games than Love, yes,
seven since the start of last season. The other one
is we talked about the you talked about the final
eight games of last season when he had the eighteen
touchdowns against one interception, but the twenty three games sandwiched
around that thirty nine touchdowns and twenty one interceptions, Like

(09:57):
he turned and I get it with reward all that stuff,
But then I'm sure people in Green Bay it's gotta
be really rough to watch because they was so used
to Aaron Rodgers not turning the ball over like you,
like you know what I mean, Like he was ridiculous.
He throwed forty five touchdowns and three interception all year,
so you always were like, like you never felt like

(10:21):
your quarterback was giving the game away.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
I think Jordan Love rob at his absolute best, at
his best, can be the hybrid between Brett Favre and
Aaron Rodgers. He's not gonna be as conservative and not
you know, doesn't want to take the risk like in
Aaron Rodgers. That's why he touched out intercept Razils crazy.
But I think he has the potential to be a
little less turnover prone and a little less of a

(10:44):
gambler than a Brett Farber at his best. He has
a chance to be the hybrid of those two, which
could be if you're a Packers fan, you could be good. Hey,
we got for the next eight to ten years, we
got a really good quarterback. We'll be able to compete
in our division and maybe compete the conference for eight
to ten years because we got the per I think
the Brits between the two that's at his best, he
to me, is the perfect balance.

Speaker 1 (11:04):
But I think I think from where they were right
after that postseason game to where they are now, their
doubts and I'm not saying like they don't think he's
any good at all, but there at that point, you
were like, oh my god, we just struck goal again,
am I Right? Like after that game, there's no way
you didn't think the Pacers have their guy for them.

Speaker 7 (11:26):
Now.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
I'm not saying obviously that they signed him to a contract.
He's gonna play and we got to see and he's
got to work through some stuff, but there is an
out there is now because he's he's turnover prone and.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
He is and he makes some throws You're like, wait
what And I think this is a look in the
mirror moment. I think for him it was approved. I've
been waiting. I've been chomping at the bit. I finally
got my chance.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
You can't got to be aggressive, but you just can't
throw the ball to the other team because it gets
hard to win that way.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
And listen, I know you knocked this guy, but that
was part of the thing with with you know, some
of the games that Patrick Mahomes had to have.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Sometimes it just wasn't there and it was ugly. The brule.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
We got to kick this field goal, we got to
run the ball. But he was able to find ways
to win. And there's something to be learning that, Jordan Love.
You ain't got to risk at all, Bro, we can
still find a way to win it. He's like, I'm
just saying, hey, if he's listen, man, we all have
his luck. Rob just be just to go to a
million Super Bowls, Pro Bowls, a bunch of you know,

(12:22):
three rings already super Bowls, three rings.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
This is like, this is going to be the Brady
Brady drop.

Speaker 4 (12:28):
Hey, I have the success that he's had in the
first seven eight years of his.

Speaker 1 (12:32):
Career, I'm about the last nine or ten. We'll see,
we will see. Brady went nine years without winning the
Super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
And I already told you I'm I don't know if
they have cus on the backside of a tombstone. I'm
putting that on yours. I'm convinced he won't win another
super Bowl. I'm convinced of that.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
It's not crazy. Dude's been to a bunch already.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Not supposed to go to this many, No, I know,
but I'm just saying, you're not supposed.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
To the guy who's already got three another one. Nobody's
you're not supposed to go to six seven? That crazy.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
Everybody thinks that he was ready as a number one
quarterback coming up this season.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Do they watch it, thanks, Chris? I mean, do they watch?
Are they watching? Yes? And do they see when you
need to play? The man makes the playoffs? The best part.

Speaker 1 (13:16):
About this he had the love Lois rob g two
hundred and forty nine yards.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
That was forty five.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
The best part about this is the way you talk
about him and the Lions, but especially him. If somebody
woke up from a coma, they'll be like, man, that
dude must have been three and fourteen.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
He went to the Super Bowl. You you you really
make it.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
Like his team was terrible fifteen terrible, but they had
no shot to win the Super Bowl last year.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Every week I'm just telling I think that I'm crying.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
Guys like Rob, Rob, you specifically have to exist in
the sports media space to keep us honest. Because I'm
not trying to pound on Jase Jase Dangel's great work.
But Chase Dane did a whole video on social media
today showing a play with Pastor Mahomes from last Sea's like, oh,
he's playing quarterback at the highest level. Look at what
he's doing. I'm like, my man was like fourteenth and passer.

(14:11):
It's like, we can have no right, but they don't
want to. We're in the middle, but they don't want
to do that. I agree, the dude is not the best.
He has not played the best quarterback. He's not even
probably the third for playing the position right now.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
As far as he doesn't.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Mean that, he's a bum that to say he's not
the best quarterback right now, he's not.

Speaker 4 (14:31):
That's the Lamar Jackson. Y'all know time have you heard
me say he's the best football player? Not even just quarterback.
Lamar Jackson best football player, night and night out, weekend,
week out. He makes the plays that he's doing. You
and I talked about all last year. He's doing stuff,
running the sideline, flicking it fifty yards perfect on the number.
He's not a passer. Lamar Jackson, Best football Player, Josh Allen.

(14:52):
If you want to say he's I'm not mad at that.
Those two have played better football. Where Patrick Mahomes has
earned the title is that those guys, for the most part,
except Joe Burrow, haven't beaten him when it matters, they
haven't been him.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
And if we if you.

Speaker 4 (15:05):
Took one hundred people, including his peers, and say, hey man,
it's third and eight. To win his game, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar,
you're gonna go. Gimme Patrick. Joe Burrow, gimme Patrick, Josh,
gimme Patrick. And that's the difference. Hey, this drive to
win his game. Those other guys are Patrick. You're gonna
go Patrick. And that's that's where he's the best quarterback.
But as far as being the best football player in the
last few years, it has been to me two three

(15:27):
other guys, all right, And that's fair.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Robbie to your point, one of the Super Bowl favorites
won't even make the playoffs in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I'll tell you who that is coming up there, Say
what's your chest?

Speaker 1 (15:39):
Then it is the odd couple right here on Fox
Sports Radio on the Trash Talking Tuesday, Rob, I'm never
worried about that, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (15:46):
Rob Parker Kelvin walking my ear muffs.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
Now stick and stay unless you're Patrick Mahomes fan girl
on the us of A.

Speaker 1 (16:10):
Oh boy, Fox Sports Radio is the cup on GD
that ain'tbody.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Why do you put the onus on me? Make me
feel bad? It's soup out here. I'm not dealing with
you right now. Go ahead. I'll just say, don't forget
trash talking is coming out. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
I think Rob d By the trash I know age
seven seven ninety nine project can start long star lineup.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
You want to, We got about twenty minutes or so
for that. Everybody wants to rule the world. On this
trash talking Tuesday, Robin Kelvin the cup before. For forty years,

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Joel Cory getting ready to join us in a little
bit here talk about the former NFL agens CBS NFL.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
At whenever he joins us.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Some good insight too about the NFLPA, some other moves
that are being made in the NFL will do that
just a little bit, like we said, trash talking about
twenty minutes. All right, the Bengals, Rob do you think
they're gonna miss the playoffs?

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Huh?

Speaker 4 (17:14):
Because they're not signing Henderson and they continue to make
some baffling moves as the Bengals do.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
I just I don't know what they're doing. We saw
it last year.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
They signed all the offensive players, right, they've lost some
defensive players. They need defense. Joe Burrow, how many times
have we said it? Through nine touchdowns against the Ravens
and how many games did he win?

Speaker 2 (17:39):
None?

Speaker 1 (17:40):
He won through nine touchdowns in two games and didn't
win either game. Lamar was outstanding, but the defense, right,
they can't stop anybody. I don't understand what they're doing
here and how in the world they're going to make
another run.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
It's nice Joe Burrow wants all his weapons and you know,
and we're gonna sign receivers upon receivers on top of
receivers like that's nice. You gotta get your defensive players,
you gotta get your defense short up. And I think
that's where the issue comes in, and that's why I'm
not convinced that their defense is any.

Speaker 2 (18:22):
Better than it was a year ago. And that's scary.

Speaker 4 (18:25):
Well, listen, they had one of their better defenders retires,
one of the better defensive linemen, Hubbard, So he retires, right,
you lose that that strength up front. Then you're over
here with Trey Hendrickson going back and forth. He's talking
about yo, we haven't talked in wild and just feels disrespected,
and then they're saying, oh no, we just we thought
a good offer. Why won't so here we are where
now nothing has happened and their first round pick and

(18:49):
you beat me to it.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
And they had.

Speaker 4 (18:50):
They're the only team that hasn't signed their first round
pick yet, in their case their defending door Stewart.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
Yeah, so they are two steps forward. Finally you get
your your receiver signed.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
Joe Burrow's happy two steps usually is one step back
and now two steps backward because you don't have your
star wars rookie sign your best defensive player, one of
the best in the entire NFL, guy who had seventeen
and a half sacks and was named to an All
Pro selection.

Speaker 1 (19:14):
You're not gonna have him. You lost Hubbert. How can
your defense be better? That didn't make any sense. Actually,
in the last two years, when Henderson is off the field,
you ready Bengals a lasting pressure rate, completion rate allowed,
and passer rating allowed.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
I mean, you know you might need to get some
pressure on rot Lamar Jackson. Yes, you might need to
get some pressure on somebody you're gonna see twice. You know,
you might need to get some pressure.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
On as well. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
So that's why if I'm Joe Burrow, yeah, you got
your guys and they cashed him out, and that's the Browns,
that's the Bengals. Spending money and all that stuff. Right,
that's great, and they're known as the cheap French. I
was thinking of Mike Brown when I said Browns.

Speaker 2 (20:05):
Mike Cavaliers. Yeah no, no, Mike, Mike Brown who owns
the Bengals.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
But my point is it's not good defensively, and I
think that's where they're gonna get bitten again like they
did last year because Joe.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Burrow was having an he should have been for that defense. Yeah, yeah,
So they got to figure that out and they have it,
and here we go.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
This is how you mess around and have arguably that
you know wherever you want to play it because some second, third,
fourth best quarterback in the league eventually get upset and
one to leave. And I told Rob Genius earlier, I said,
if he wasn't from Ohio, I think there'd be more
intention to get out of there.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
It's a chief franchise, haven't.

Speaker 4 (20:45):
Done much, but he's had so much success there and
he I think he wants to also be the guy
to uplift the Bengals. You know, he's from that Area's
from Ohio, and I think he wants to be a
part of that. But you see his faces when people
ask him about that.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
He is up front.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
He didn't hide, He doesn't g GOLLI. He will tell yo, man,
why can't we do what the Eagles have done? The
Eagles have found a way to sign everybody. Why can't
we do that? I've been very vocal about that too. Well,
that's that's that due bill will come come for the Eagles. Yeah,
at some point, you know what I mean, like they
are they're doing like what some of these teams have done.

(21:18):
Look at the Golden State Warriors, Like people don't as
good as they are with drafting on play they are,
so they want that the double apron rob g The
Warriors have spent a ton of money.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Or apronl all what they put the backs out to
Celtics another one, Right, that's why they's stripping their team down.
When teams see a run, that's why they sold the team. Yeah,
when teams see a run, they're like, all right, we're
going for it. You know, when they see a little window,
we're gonna go for see what all the best we
can do. I mean, we'll be having this conversation in
about a year and a half, two years with the Thunder,
you know, they're going for it.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
Now this is our three four year window. Let's see
what we can do. Five year window. Let's see if
we can win as many as we can. All right,
Joe getting ready to join us a little bit right now,
Steve the Segre is gonna get you set on what's trending.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to
listen live.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
All right, Steve, thank you so much. We appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
It is dea cover Rob Parker kelvin Washington, and it
is a trash talking Tuesday. By the way, you can
line up for that now, eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox. Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. We'll
get to that in about ten twelve minutes or so.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
Joel Corey, former NFL AGENCYBS Sports NFL Analysts, is our guest,
and uh Corey, Joel on X Joel, what's up?

Speaker 2 (22:38):
How you doing? What's happening?

Speaker 8 (22:40):
Doing great?

Speaker 2 (22:40):
How you guys doing doing great? All right? I want
to see your receipts from Magic City. That's all I
want to know.

Speaker 8 (22:47):
I never heard of it, man, I went to college
in Atlanta. I've never heard of that place, never heard
of it.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
All right, Yeah, well big big wink, big wink happening
right now? Stay there. Well, we got to talk about that, me,
Rob and I.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
We've been doing this show for almost a year together,
and one of the common conversations we have with the
NFL is the NFLPA and how the Players Association does wrong.
I call it the NFL pH as and player haters.
At this point, when you got collusion cases and you
find out about it and for sit on it for
six months, don't tell your players when we find out
that you're the head of your NFLPA is also with

(23:25):
a group that's trying to get part ownership. So clearly,
if you're trying to be part of owner group, then
you're trying you're going to be siding with the owners.
All these things we talked about in conflict, the interest,
the way they've handled the payment of players, who with
the with the CTE. We can go on and on
and on what is happening with the NFLP or whether
this is what needs to change, How can they ever
change it?

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Is the issue.

Speaker 8 (23:45):
The first thing is you need to have get rid
of player actasy part of the problem is the players
aren't going to care what happens then watching anybody else. Two,
the player reps have to do better job of keeping
the other players informed. One of the differences historically with

(24:06):
the Baseball Union, dating back to Marvin Miller is you
had a long career so the older players could educate
the younger players on the fights they've been through. Bus
so so much turnover football. You don't have that type
of union solidarity. Hopefully they picked the right person as
the executive director. The first red flag of me of

(24:26):
Lloyd Howell was unparaphrasing. When Roger Goodell first started talking
about an eighteenth game, he essentially said, the more football,
the marrier, when his first response should have been, there'll
be an eighteenth game over my dead bite.

Speaker 1 (24:39):
Right right right, one hundred percent, one hundred percent unbelievable.
I want to go to Dallas and Jerry Jones talking
about people get hit by cars rather than just well,
you know, we can sign them and he can get
hit by a car, he could have cancer or like yeah,
piano ball off and hit him or something. But if

(25:01):
you have Michael Parson, you just heard Jerry Jones, what
would you make of that and that conversation.

Speaker 8 (25:09):
That's just Jerry being Jerry, because last year he offended
CD Lamb. I think he said something about there not
being a sense of urgency for getting his contract done.
The good thing is, if you play for the Cowboys
as an agent, it will be your job to manage
your client's and expectations from the outset and the contract
here and tell him you won't get a contract in March.

(25:30):
You won't get one in April. It's going to drag out.
Be patient. You will get it in August, right before
the regular Jason starts at the latest. But at the
same time, you're going to make more money than you
would have if you signed in March. It every time
a deal sign that would potentially affect your client, you
tell them that, hey, that's more money for you.

Speaker 2 (25:51):
Wait because Jerry usually rolls over. Why why does Jerry
do that? Though?

Speaker 4 (25:57):
If knowing I'm going to end up paying these guys,
I don't or sixty million for DAK and CD being
higher paid one of the highest papers Like, why does
he do it?

Speaker 2 (26:05):
I get the players won the more money.

Speaker 8 (26:08):
It's not logical because the longer you wait to sign
a very good the great player, the more it's gonna
cost you in the long run. So even Michael Parsons today,
I think he said some of the fact. I'm not
taking it personally. I don't understand he did it with
Dak and Ceed last year. I don't really understand the philosophy.
I don't either. I don't know why he waits, but
he does, and he's willing to pay a premium. So hey,

(26:31):
write it out. If I'm Michael Parsons, I'm waiting to
see if Aiden Hutchinson gets done, because that's gonna be
way up there. That dude had seven a half sacks
and five games when he broken leg. It was the
early favorite to be Defensive Player of the Year last.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yeah, tell him, Rob. He was talking about the Lions.
Oh my bad. I'm sorry that what the lines that
won't make the playoffs this year?

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Just craziness. Joel, Hey, Joe, let's go stay with him.
Remember I said that you're gonna go back. Oh wow,
Rob said that back in July. Smack it on my
wings is what I'm doing at you only.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
Joel Corey is our guest from NFL AGENCYBS Sports NFL Analysts.
Let me ask you stay on the defensive side of
the ball, and Trey Hendrickson. I mean on paper, you'd say,
you know I've done this. I've done that all Pro
sixteen and a half, seventeen and a half sacks last year.
If you think paid the man is alfrase. I always
like to say, what more do you want from me?
I mean, what more does he want? What are the

(27:24):
Bengals waiting on?

Speaker 2 (27:26):
You?

Speaker 8 (27:26):
Guys are treating to the choir. This should not be
a hard deal to do. As soon as TJ. Watch
deal was done, you've got a blueprint. Maybe you don't
go there if you don't want to make highest paid guy,
but three new years. Because Trey Hendrickson is two months younger,
he's been more productive the last two years, so you
can't hold age against him. If the Bengals had been smart,

(27:50):
you knew TJ. Watt was gonna get paid at some
point in time. You get ahead of that thing. So
I don't blame Trey Hendrickson. This is just the Bengals
being Bengals and the bungling things they typically do. Although
they started to get a little bit of credit for
getting the receivers done back in March. Now, if I'm
Trey Henderson. I'm pissed off the one guy in particular,
the assistant GM Joe Burrow. The assistant GM Joe Burrow

(28:14):
went out on a limb in March. We need to
do x Ryan Z, move Having and Earth to get
the receivers done. He's been relatively quiet compared to how
demonster ive he was to get a receiver signed.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
In terms of.

Speaker 8 (28:26):
Getting Trey Henderson done. Last year, they won a bunch
of shootouts. Trey Hendrickson is responsible for about fifty percent
of the sacks last year. So yeah, you can score
forty points, but with this guy, he's your only elite
defensive player you're getting to watch.

Speaker 1 (28:42):
Let me ask you, well, Shador Sanders, I mean, there's
all kinds of stuff already that looks like he's going
to be on a practice squad if not released.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
What does he fit in with the Browns?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
It doesn't sound like they're going to give him an
honest chance to you know, win the job or whatever.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
What are people missing with Shador?

Speaker 8 (29:03):
The way he handled the pre draft process, you have
to take it as seriously as possible. His dad, given
who he was, and he knew where he was going
to go could treat it in a totally different manner.
But if you're the fifth round pick, they drafted a
quarterback in the third round, you're automatically going to be
fourth in the pecking order because they've invested more in

(29:25):
the third round pick. You have to make the most
of opportunities. You have to show enough that there's some
promise to you that if they released you, you'd get
picked up on waivers. I remember back in nineteen ninety
nine there is a team that drafted a quarterback late
in the draft. They kept four quarterbacks because they didn't
want to let this guy go. I'm not saying this
is going to be Sear Sanders by any shape or

(29:46):
stretching the imagination, but Bill Belichick had full quarterbacks in
Tom Brady's rookie year.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Don't tell me that because Tom Brady had a chance
to draft him and he the Waiders passed over them
to door four or five times.

Speaker 8 (30:00):
Yeah. Well, that's the interesting thing because the personal relationship.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
Right, he's supposed to be his mentor you know what
I mean. Like seriously, but at.

Speaker 8 (30:09):
Some point I think teams start going, well, we've got
to be something wrong with him more than what we
originally thought because all these teams keep passing on him,
so it details, well they're not taking him, why should we,
And then gets a certain point, well he's too good
of a value to pass up.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
Yeah, and that's what the brons are.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
At that point, you're like, well, it might as well
take a flyer, which I don't think is a big
time flyer in a sense that you know where he
was graded early.

Speaker 2 (30:34):
All Right, we appreciate you, Joe as always, Thank you
so much.

Speaker 8 (30:38):
All Right, thanks trapping guys, no.

Speaker 2 (30:39):

Speaker 2 (31:49):
I don't know whether to smile.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
Let see kick a field, go man.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
All right, let's get it started. Chris and Seattle, you're
on the odd couple Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
Who are you trashing? Chris?

Speaker 8 (32:02):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Guys?

Speaker 8 (32:02):
Thanks for taking my call.

Speaker 7 (32:04):
I'm trashing the Texans, the Colts, and the Titans. I
got the Jags winning the AFC South this year. I
think Trevor Lawrence is in discussion for Comeback Player of
the Year. Bryan Thomas Junior is a legit top ten
wide receiver. Now you're adding the Heisman winner and a
two way player and a phenom and Travis Hunter. I

(32:24):
think what Tony Biselli, Liam Cohen and James Glatson are
doing down in Jacksonville. Is going to vote very well
for the future of the Jaguars, and I think this
year is the start of it.

Speaker 1 (32:35):
I have a lot of people saying, don't sleep on
trashing the AFC South, no doubt. How abartis Albert in Riverside, California.
You're on the people Fox Sports Radio. Who you trashing, Albert?

Speaker 5 (32:49):
Rob?

Speaker 2 (32:50):
This is for you.

Speaker 8 (32:50):
I'm trashing Panda Express.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (32:58):
I trched it by expressing because I have one by
my word and my go there every other week and yeah,
every single time, Rob, I swear I bring the box back.
The andre portions get smaller and smaller by the day
everything time I go, I totally feel your pain. Give
him the shrimp.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
Come on now, don't count.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Doesn't count my shrimp. I mean, come on, Albert, thank you.
Oh this will be the campaign you were on. That's
why eight seven seven first alleged ninety nine on Fox, Rob,
do you got some?

Speaker 10 (33:28):
I do.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
I want to trash Robert Lee Parker Junior for coming
in here during the commercial break and insinuating with a
straight face that DJ Alex Tyshert is not a handsome man.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
I did say he came. And Alex spends a lot
of time on his body.

Speaker 5 (33:43):
He's in the gym every day, he eats well, he's
well groomed, he's got beautiful hair. Comes in, Oh, Alex,
when you wear that our Couple jackie, you look good,
insinuating that when he doesn't wear the jackie, don't look good?

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Shut up, Yeah, we didn't like that. I just I
just looked at Alex, who's the inn. He got his
powder blue Odd Couple pull over, and I just said,
you look good at that. It looks good on him.
That's all I take that as a compliment. Also, do
I not look good without it? That's what I think.
That's what Rob G's saying, you look the last time?

Speaker 4 (34:15):
When's the last time he said anything about you looking
good other than your normally.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
I'm not going to do that.

Speaker 1 (34:20):
Why would I go in and just say, hey, you
look good? He like today like it was a jacket,
not you as much.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
I think the last time was when I wore an
MLB bro shirt.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
That's right, the last time Mlbro You do the math
eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
Or recently said your girl looked good? That was about it?
How about Andrew and Bakers California. You're a couple of
Fox Sports Radio. Who you try sing Andrew?

Speaker 10 (34:47):
First, mister President Trump, I think you're doing a good job.
But come on, should we name the team the Washington Crackers?
And secondly, the MLS should stop naming their team f
like Frank C Football Club. We live in America, we
play soccer, and who are the most memorable soccer players?

(35:09):
Alexi Lawless? He's straight up American soccer. So bring back
the normal name or if you want the club name,
say soccer club.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Thanks heard he had a bountch.

Speaker 1 (35:21):
To take some names. He did that Washington name was
but he didn't agree with Trump on that. I was surprised,
but he said he likes him though he said no,
but I know, but he said, but he did, because
I mean, I think you would think that was kind
of a given, like yo, that was too far. You
would kind of think like there's a lot we can
disagree on, and you know, and have the He said,

(35:42):
what should they.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Be called the crackers? You know what I'm saying? So
I got his point?

Speaker 4 (35:46):
Anything of my mask? What didn't want to trash? You
want to trash anything? Were you already you used her
early with alleged Panda Express yesterday.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
No, I didn't say it was Panthera Express.

Speaker 1 (35:57):
I said it was an Asian American restaurant that features
in small portions in.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
The red box. That's all I said. That's all you said.
And streets out there protesting. Just you know what you got.
Matt Millon fired with your protesting Detroit. Now you're out here.

Speaker 1 (36:13):
Milling Man March, mill Man March, that's one of my
all time And they try to claim that somebody else
had come up with that.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
So wait, you came with that because that other person
you're claiming I was there at the time. Yes, he
had did it. He had.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
He's the one who organized the Angry Man March. Okay,
but that's not on Matt Millan's a football player's life.
He talked about the milling Man March, and they show
my column that I wrote.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
I like that.

Speaker 5 (36:44):
This may be breaking news if he had a sounder.
Uh sorry, Steve de Sager, But in the last twenty
four hours, Steve A was swung on you. The stock
price for Panda Express has fallen one person, Rob Parker.
I'm not saying that's because of you, but I'm also
not saying it's because of you.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
That's allegedly I'm gonna allegedly say this is what politicians do,
and then they.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Go, but you don't care. Then, but you don't count food, Okay,
that's that's the issue. You don't count food. There's no
such thing. Who counts food. I've never seen it.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
Somebody who's trying to keep a job, unless you're going
to get a three piece from fright, from Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
That's it. I told you. They're taking chicken out of scoops.
They're scooping it back
