summer plans include a new job Kelvin. Maybe for you
no job another one you're trying to can I keep
it happy home. I'm trying to get a new job,
you know what I'm saying. But want to work with
an expert in your local job market to find the
right role, I should say, just call your local Express

(01:39):
employment professionals go to Express pros dot com and Express
never charges job seekers of feed. That's pretty important right there,
So make sure you do that, don't forget. Coming up
in about twenty seven minutes Andrew Jones. No, not that guy,
publisher and lead writer to The Tar Hill Illustrated. That's

(02:02):
gonna be interesting to see what he has to say. Yeah,
because we did have him on before, didn't we rob
you about this whole Belichick thing. So it'll be interesting
to see the how people responded after that butt whoop
in that plus trash talking as well. But Rob G,
Michael Parsons is now in Green Bay. We know all that.
Now all these stories are coming out about how his

(02:23):
teammates weren't fond of his podcasts and stuff.

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Rob G clueus him. Yeah, this is something that's been building,
you know, even before the trade. But since the trade
is we talked about it. When you were out robbed,
Me and Kelvin were talking and we agreed that once
this trade was official, the Michael Parsons hit pieces, We're
gonna be glory.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I didn't know it's coming. They were all coming.

Speaker 5 (02:42):
It's like when the Lakers, anything happened with them, there's
always a hit piece in the chamber for the athletic
or ESPN. Well, the Dallas Cowboys like the Lakers of
the NFL. So we knew this was all coming. It
started last week when the Forward Star Telegram reported and
Gary Jones confirmed that the decision to move off of
Michael Parsons it's quote unanimous, both in terms of the
front office, the coaching staff and several player leaders as

(03:06):
they called them, all agreed that, Hey, if you don't
want to be here, get him out of here.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
And that's always something we talked about it before. Don't
be asking for trade if you ain't serious about it,
because once you put that out there, you know what
I mean, like, there's a chance people say, especially oh
you don't you just can't do that?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Go ahead? Sure.

Speaker 5 (03:24):
And then the next day Albert Brier, friend of the
show MMQB, reported in his column that more specifically, the
Micah Parsons podcast had rubbed a lot of people the
wrong way, including but not limited to quarterback Dak Prescott.
You recall he did that top ten list and then
left that out of it was a big talking point. Well,
today ESPN published a full length piece. They dispatched four

(03:47):
different NFL writers for this, so let's tell you know
they're heavily invested in this story. And in the report
they discuss how Michael Parson's behavior, especially during training camp
here towards the end, not wearing his practice jersey, he
came to practice without shoes on. He's eating notches in
the locker room, he's laying down at the trainer's table.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
The dead laying down seriously. That that was when you
crossed the line, like you're making a mockery of the game.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
That it rubbed everybody the wrong way. Coaches, players included,
with one team source saying that his energy in and
around the team was quote deflating.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
So I said this last week, when you're Michael Parsons,
even if you fell scored, even if you felt like
Jerry had, you know, maybe ruined the relationship that you
once had with him, you can't out Jerry.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
Jerry.

Speaker 6 (04:35):
Jerry's the owner. Jerry's been doing this for thirty plus years.
Jerry's done stuff. The fans hate it. Guess what they do.
They go out and buy tickets and buy jerseys and
talk about the Cowboys and do it and throw and
throw remotes at their TVs and still watch the Cowboys.
Meaning they ain't going nowhere with Jerry. That's their team.
They're all a part of Cowboy Nation. How about them Cowboys?

(04:56):
But Micah, what you can do is by acting like
a bratt and by doing all that and pouting, and
I understand you might have felt like you were, you know,
being disrespected. I understand that that's gonna fall on you.
The systems always fall on the lower man, so it's
gonna fall on the player instead of the owner. And
then the fans are gonna look at you, and your
other teammates are gonna look at you. Now we have reports.
We talked about it last week, like you were saying,

(05:18):
Rob Gi with this stuff was gonna come out where
teammates are gonna start already questioned his leadership. And one
of the continual things that came up is the podcast
and Rob and I have talked about it for a
whole year essentially that we've been doing this show together.
Nobody's saying you can't do a pod. My thought was,
do a pot on something else, you like, Do a
pot on the NBA, do a pot on parenting, do
a pot on on Penn Stak football where you know

(05:41):
you're not on dogs going a restaurant exactly, I'm signed
up for that. Put me on dogs looking peaches, Yes,
you and the peaches, but let me continue peaches. So
my whole thing is this is gonna look bad on
you because you're pouting, You're throwing a temper tantrument, and
now everybody's viewing you on this and also going back
to the podcast, this needs to be an opportunity, rob

(06:02):
g because I believe there are two sides, especially when
a breakup. Right, this is what Jerry Jones and the
Cowboys gonna say, this is Mike and his agent are
gonna say. Ultimately, there's a third side, which is the truth.
Now that you're a packer, what I need from you
is to go in there and focus. What I need
from you is to refine your leadership because it's okay
to reassess in the regroup right, some of what they

(06:26):
if everybody's calling you crazy, Rob, what they what it
might be that you're crazy? Meaning if a lot of
people are questioning leadership. A lot of people didn't like this.
A lot of your own teammates went to coaches said, man,
we don't know. This guy's getting out of control, especially
with the podcast putting accountability on everybody else but him.
These guys suck, the coaches suck. We gotta do that.
Now he has an opportunity to resay. And to me,
I look at this as don't go there doing the same,

(06:47):
being the same, because a lot of people question you
when you change. Oh you Donna went to Green Bay,
Now you change. You let Jerry Jones punky, Now you change. No,
I'm refining my leadership. I'm changing who I am a bit.
I'm tweaking how I go about my business. And one
of the things I would advise them is the same
thing we've talked about is what the podcast. Make it
a thing of the podcast. Put it in your past.

(07:09):
Pot is that a podcast podca't okay, I can't do
it anymore?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Podcast away? Put it away.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
And the reason I say that is because nothing good
comes out of it and you don't have to do it.
And now you don't want to create an atmosphere in
a new place where they've has stability.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
You're the new guy where you start to ruffle feather. Right,
let me ask you this. Yes, you're Green Bay. Okay?
Do you say please? No podcast? Do you do? You
know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Do you? I believe that as the new organization. Hey, Michael,
we love you, We just gave you this money, all this.
We just wanted to be focused during the football season.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Please. I don't think they do that, because I don't.
I think you said the total.

Speaker 6 (07:50):
I think they do overt suggestion, overt jokes.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
All right, Michael, don't come in here.

Speaker 6 (07:56):
You putting me on your pod like a you're Matt
Lafloor like ha ha week mother love it.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Don't put me on there.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
But my thing is why why should you be afraid
to tell somebody who you're employed, who you want their
full focus to be, and say, here in Green Bay, Micah,
nobody has a podcast. This is not I They're not
directed at you. Here in Green Bay, we want football
to be that focus for the next six months.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
And this is what we're all.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
Is the era of player empowerment and also just employ
ye empowerment.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
And there are things that used to be that you
didn't do that.

Speaker 6 (08:35):
Maybe you didn't post on your social media, maybe it
was too risque. And now employer can't come to you
nobody because they're gonna be like, well, I can't wear that.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
I can't Who are you? Are you putting me in?

Speaker 8 (08:45):
No?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
You can? Okay, good luck in twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
But my only problem is the issue in Dallas wasn't
you weren't defensive Player of the Year. Your defense wasn't
ranked number one. They weren't giving up forty pays you know,
in games that you played in and all that.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
And you go on your podcast saying.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
You did your je I did my job, I don't
know what you want me to do kind of thing,
which is basically implying that everybody else didn't do their job.
I'm just saying, if I'm Matt Lafleur, I have that conversation,
and maybe they did before they even got there to
say we really want you ay, and we've shown them

(09:25):
give up two first round picks.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
All the money Pro Bowl and all the money. Okay,
but buck thirty six guaranteed. You know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (09:32):
I think you want to have that conversation. I think
you're scared to force him, like if you don't do this, No,
I don't want to, like, but I absolutely believe you suggest,
you imply, and I think you hopeing her David will
get his agent. I think if you're his agent, you say, hey, man,
you know part of this is always marketing, brand and
and focusing. Let's use this as a chance to rebrand
what Mica can be. Let's use this as a chance

(09:55):
to change the perception of you. Let's go in here,
be locked in laser focus and now we can you know,
kind of bring that to the new Mica in Green Bay.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
And let's not forget.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
Uh. The Athletic reported in February that the judge told
Aaron Rodgers that he wouldn't be welcome back if with
the team, if he continued to do McAfee show.

Speaker 2 (10:16):
Like they just were like, we don't.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
Want this the difference though, No, I'm just saying like, like,
so so a team did say it and end up
wind up moving, you know on anyway.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
That's why I think it's different. It's easy. You almost
want to do that, so screw it im.

Speaker 4 (10:28):
Out, Yes, but he's but still a request was made,
you know what I mean, not that it was an issue,
and and and and I understand, like you're not trying
to dictate everything, but you're trying to be all on
the same page. It's only now, Okay, you had the
thing with Dak Now are you going to be doing
stuff about Jordan love and start calling him Jordan like

(10:50):
or I like him, but I don't love them. If
a player leaves, do you talk about him like you
did DeMarcus Lawrence? You know what I say that who
was a who was a big time player since in
that locker room, and they got into it just because
he left, and it just yeah. So I'm hoping he
uses this as a time to retool, to focus in
lock in it because listen, I was telling Rob g

(11:11):
this earlier.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
Kobe Bryant the.

Speaker 6 (11:13):
Last not the last last when he was be down
and broken, right, but that years when they were making
the championship runs and competing three back to back to
back going to the finals went in two out of
three that run. He had to refine himself as a leader.
Socking Samaki Walker on the plane, wasn't it yelling at
everybody all the time, wasn't it. He had to get
some better talent, for sure, But he also had to

(11:36):
these are his own words. He had to find ways
to leave better. We read or he Phil Jackson book
Between Kobe MJ. I had to teach them and work
with them on leadership. And my whole point is this
is that phase. He's twenty six. You've already been all pro,
You've been all that. How about now we lock in
and focus to be that guy the next six year,
that kind of leader, That being that guy in the
locker room, because you don't want that to be the

(11:57):
your thing.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
You're the you're a back in the locker room. You
don't want that to carry along with you, no doubt
about it.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
All Right, An NFL coach thinks he can fix one
of the worst passers of the last five years.

Speaker 2 (12:09):
We'll get into that next.

Speaker 4 (12:10):

five minutes or so, looking forward to that.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
For over forty years, tire rack has been open.

Speaker 6 (13:19):
Customers find the right tires for how, what and where
they drive, shit fast and free back by free road
hazard protection with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation,
tire rack dot Com, rob it is the way tire
buying should be. Also, if you got ach and ease
step back joints not cooperating some days, your body is
just like noping on those days. Luckily there's a leave

(13:42):
with just one pill. The lead provides up to twelve
hours of pain relief, so you can keep it moving.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
Used as directed.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Did.

Speaker 6 (13:50):
Jets have a new quarterback, gave him a nice little
amount of money too. A lot of people were actually
shocked they got that much, considering he hasn't done much
in the NFL. He had a decent little early run
with the Steelers and then they said, no, we're good,
We're going to Russell Williams.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
That is justin Fields.

Speaker 6 (14:03):
But the general manager there went ahead and wanted to
clear some things up. People, who are you got all
the reports are an offseason that he wasn't playing well,
that he looked like, you know, he was struggling out there.
Obviously a little bit of preseason actually saw he was
not great as well. So folks were mad about that
and saying, you know, he doesn't look great. But their
general manager, Darren Moogie, was talking about the fact that

(14:24):
look he said, listen, man, I do believe Justin can
be one of those guys. I've seen progress during this
camp and look forward to seeing the progress throughout the
season as they come together. And then you want to
say that he could be one of those guys like
a Sam Donald or a Baker Mayfield, a redemption story
like those guys, and I say, heck, now, it ain't possible.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
It ain't happening captain with the Jets.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
And the reason why Sam Donald was able to have
that resurrection, as you and I talked about last year,
is because he got with the perfect coach, of the
perfect situation at the perfect time in his life. Sam
Donald went to Kevin O'Connell, who is the quarterback whisper
who made who do you want to go to case?
Keenan made him look good, got him to the NFC

(15:13):
Championship game. Kirk your cousin, not my cousin, made him
look legit. What's Dobbs again? Josh Dobbs even looked good
with him as a backup. Turn started because he had
to start for a while. And then Sam Donald comes
and he has the greatest season to lie to the
tunes of making a bunch of money now with Seattle.
So Sam Donald fell into the right time, right situation.

(15:35):
We'll see what he looks like now with the Seahawks.
And Baker Mayfield was a number one pick, a heisman
who we saw, the talent who led the Browns.

Speaker 4 (15:44):
Yeah, I don't think Baker Mayfield is a real redempser story.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
He was just got back on his feet right like.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
But he had already had success, won a playoff, a playoff.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Game, you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Like like to me, Baker Mayfield and and and we've
talked about this before. The Browns screw Baker Mayfield because
he played injured, injured, and they held it against him. Right, Yeah,
he was playing and he was hurt. It would be
different if he was healthy and played poorly or whatever.

(16:15):
I just didn't get that. And then of course Baker Yeah,
and then of course he's going to Tampa and it's
been you know, I know, he had a couple of stops,
but he found a spot in Tampa.

Speaker 6 (16:24):
And he got to a really good situation there coming
off of, you know, a few years back, winning the
Super Bowl. They got a good they got a bunch
of talent, especially offensively.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
So Baker went into a great situation.

Speaker 6 (16:36):
And I don't believe Justin feels it, and he's not
talented enough to overcome that. The perfect fit or the
perfect fit, the best fit, let me put it that way.
For him was what he had with the Steelers if
he was going to be anything, if he was going
to be anything because he's not talented enough. Like Lamar
Jackson can go to the Jets and I'm not saying
they win in the Super Bowl, but they can be
turned around to be a better team because he's just

(16:58):
that good.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
This is what scares me about Justin Fields.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
For real, you and Pittsburgh had some success of a
great defense, all the stuff. He wanted to be handed
the job without having numbers instead of saying I'm here,
I'm comfortable right, they're interested in me, but I would
have to compete for the job. Why would you want
to go to a bad franchising team and not compete

(17:25):
compared to I'm good enough. I was four and two,
I did this, I did that and turned the ball over.
Let me get out there. And that's the only thing
that bothers me. And the other part is three teams
in three years. I don't know how many guys. Three
teams and three day.

Speaker 6 (17:41):
That's the Sam don of it, you know what I mean,
you know, for just the forty nine ers and the Vikings,
and you know, that's what they would say that Sam
Donald comparisons. You go into a few and you are
to bounce back Gino Smith another guy bounce back.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
But Gino Smith, I mean he was down for a
number of years and all of a sudden, out of nowhere,
I was not like real top you know what, into
the second tier quarterback. Yeah, I think that's fair. Yeah Geno, listen,
if he had that one year and then they still
you know, if you really I.

Speaker 6 (18:11):
Was good last year. I mean the team didn't. But
he's accuracy and all that. Like, if your quarterback is Gino,
he's not necessary. He's not going to be the problem.
Maybe you should either though, yeah you just got it.
But but we the thing about the Super Bowl, We've
seen a lot of guys who aren't great get there
maybe and even some winning.

Speaker 2 (18:31):
I mean the last time to have a great else because.

Speaker 6 (18:35):
Rex Grossman had a gross career outside of that super Bowl,
you know.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
And that was like one of the worst super Bowl
Do you remember? I was there in Miami too. It rained,
but I would in Miami to hang out.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
It would rain the entire game. Remember, it was like
one of the worst games I ever watched. I just
it just it never felt good. It never felt it
was a final score fourteen to seven or it was
like a seven.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
It was a terrible it was And it wasn't like
Peyton was lighting it up and it's going crazy.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
You know.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
It just wasn't Peyton. Peyton don't really have to be
as great as he is, like amazing super Bowl.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
It was that twenty nine to seventeen. It was that
many points. Wow, this didn't feel like that to me.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Peyton. I just remember not being a good game. It
just was.

Speaker 6 (19:18):
It wasn't that great. Devin Hester was the best part.
And first right off the gate, didn he return the kick?
That was the highlight of the game was Devin Hester
right there. I had a great Miami story though, down there,
sneaking in the parties, did you, Oh yeah, write that down,
rob G tell you that. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you
that story. Hilarious sneaking in back in the day. All right,

(19:40):
man in Miami, let's go off the number. Get ready
for trash talking, right, yeah, eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
The chance to trash how long we're gonna givehim.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Rob thirty forty seconds and we will not interrupt. You
say whatever you want. We're all in for it. Even
if you want to trash Calvin.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Or Harry get to Rob. Maybe me, Maybe you done, Truck.
I've been gone for too long.

Speaker 4 (20:03):
They're gonna be That's true, love, right, because you know
you missed something that's not there.

Speaker 6 (20:08):
That's true. I'm trying to think what you say today.
Did you say anything crazy today? Let me think yesterday?
Anything they might have to trash something you said in
the last week.

Speaker 5 (20:14):
Well, quickly, guys, where you get Steve Saga and w'sch trainding.
The reason why you think that Colts Bear Super Bowl
was so bad? To scoring was fine?

Speaker 2 (20:20):
Right?

Speaker 5 (20:20):
Twenty SEVENTI is not bad. There were eight turnovers in
that game.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
Okay, well there you have there you go. I know
it's something that made the game because I was like that.

Speaker 4 (20:27):
I remember that as being adzy football game.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
And usually eight turnovers more scoring than that, you know
what I mean? Because it led to maybe some pick siss,
pick six, pick up, a fumble return it, or just
a bunch of other stuff.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
That one wasn't great, all right?

Speaker 6 (20:41):
Andrew Jones, like you said, Rob, not that one, not
that one exactly, Publisher and leader writer of Tar Hill Illustrated.
I'm gonna tell us little bit more about Chapel Hill Bill,
which was not a thrill at all. We'll talk about
that in just a little moment right now, Steven.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
We'll get to that in just a little bit.

Speaker 6 (21:15):
Right now, we are joined by Andrew Jones, publisher and
leader writer of Tar Hill Illustrated Heel two four seven
on X Andrew.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
What's up man? Thanks for joining us. What's happening?

Speaker 10 (21:26):
Hey, guys, appreciate you having me on.

Speaker 4 (21:28):
After that performance last night should be tall and feathered illustrated,
because that's what they should have done the Bill Belichick
after that?

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Are you kidding me? Andrew? Like you didn't expect that,
did you?

Speaker 10 (21:41):
I thought they were gonna lose, but I didn't expect that,
and I was just thinking when I was waiting on
home for you guys. They gave us a little access,
and they were very secretive throughout the month of August.
I'm kind of wondering why they were so secret. Maybe
it was in better off letting us see how bad
they were putting it out there and maybe teach you
would have been a little over confident. Of course I'm joking,

(22:02):
but the point is this is a program that has
come in and sort of carried themselves as if they
will be the thirty third NFL team. They have not
been very open with the media, so we really got
our first healthy look at them last night, and it
was the height of disgrace. It was one of the

(22:23):
worst performances I've seen from the North Carolina football team.
And I've been covering them in various capacities for thirty
years and there's a lot of bad to compare it to,
and that was about as bad as against last night.

Speaker 6 (22:34):
Why why was it so bad in the sense of,
I mean, what couldn't they couldn't completely or they couldn't
stop it?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Me ei there?

Speaker 6 (22:42):
What let me ask you this, let me let me,
let me start this, let me back this up. Yeah,
what is the realistic thing that people expect to happen here?
Because I've never bought that he's going to be there
for the long haul to turn a program around. So
then therefore, what are we doing? This was about his season,
just passing it down to his son.

Speaker 10 (23:00):
Now, everything I've talked, when I've talked to people off
the record in the athletic department, some of who may
not be total buyers into this whole deal, they do
say that he's clenched in that he wants to prove
this can work and it's not really about his son.
But of course when he was hired, the narrative was

(23:20):
I mean behind the scenes, had nothing to his son.
Of course, his son was hired ten days later. You
never really know. But I do think that he is
enjoying himself, or at least he was until about twenty
four hours ago, and he is intrigued by the idea
of showing people that he could get it done. I
think he's a little stung by the way people articulate

(23:42):
the last few years of the of the Patriots and
maybe giving Brady more credit than him, and he figures
if he can prove it at a basketball school, than
what hell you can't. You got to put him on
Mount Rushmore, Mount Rushmore of won. I do think there's
motivation there, but really he learned a lesson last night.
He learned a lesson of college wole balls different and
just because you're a great teacher, you can't bring together

(24:04):
a bunch of dudes from all over the place, some
of whom didn't play many snaps at P four programs,
or a lot of guys that went to scs and
low end FPS programs and then go out and beat
a program that was a National Planal game three years
ago and has an NFL quarterback. I think they learned
a harsh lesson. They thrive on teaching and developing, and
you can only teach and developed so much. They can

(24:26):
try to show me for a year every day how
to play quarterback. I'm still not completing the pass out there.
So there's a lot to fix. And I wonder after
watching last night how fixable some things are.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
And let me ask you, I mean, I watched Bill Belichi.
I've been coming to the NFL since nineteen eighty seven.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
For a long time, I never saw Bill Belichick's wife
or a girlfriend, or I'm shocked watching the game and
she's out on the field before the game doing warm pumps.
What I mean, sir, the ad Nobody cares about that.
Why in the world would she be on the field.
She could have a conversation with Bill before he goes

(25:09):
the world. Why would she be on the field.

Speaker 10 (25:12):
She was on the She was on the field during
the quote unquote spring game. They led us in to
watch thirteen minutes each of three different practices. Most of
it was stretching. So it goes back when I was
telling you guys a minute ago, and the last time
we were in there a week and a half ago,
she was out there. So I will say this, I

(25:33):
personally do not think that her presence affects the product
on the field, but it's the visual, and I do
think that. I tend to agree with some people that
say it's sort of their arrogance to think that, you
know what, we could just do whatever the hell we
want and we're going to get away with it because
we're going to win, right But they learned last night

(25:53):
that's not the case. There was an awful lot of
thirty third NFL team. We do it better than anybody else.
Stay out of our way and let us do this
and everything will be fine. But that shounami hit them
last night. And there's some people around this area that
believe that they deserved it and they got what's coming
to them, that they needed it, and if they're going

(26:14):
to truly build the program the way it needs to
be built, they needed to be humbled, and they were
clearly humbled last night.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
I'm in agreement with that.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
That was a humbling and you can say, no matter
what they had done and all that, there's no way
you could just shake that off.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
They got. They got bad.

Speaker 6 (26:30):
Because my thing was rob they can't be bad on everything.
You can't be bad and especially taves defense. Off all right,
one thing, okay, offense wasn't going, but dangy, we played
some good defense.

Speaker 2 (26:38):
It was nothing.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
Andrew Jones is our guest publisher and lead writer of
The Tar Hill Illustrated.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Andrew, I'll go to this one.

Speaker 6 (26:47):
Well, partly, I do want to jump back the reason
why I think the girl for Matt and nobody cares
really about personal life, but I think it is because
of what we have seen. For twenty twenty five years
plus with him no distractions. Know this, that's so opposite.
That's why it's not that he has a girlfriend at
the end of the day, who cares Mary girlfriend two
girlfriends that do what you want. It's that this is
counterintuitive to has what man has made him run a

(27:07):
successful and tight ship.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
That's why it's a big deal.

Speaker 6 (27:10):
If this is what's proven to be successful, now you're
changing everything, I would be worried because I'm thinking I'm
bringing in the routine of success.

Speaker 10 (27:18):
No, I think that's a fair point. And I admittedly
didn't pay attention to the Patriots every week the last
twenty years. I have paid attention to the schools around
here because I've covered them all and it's not uncommon
last year, for example, to see Sally Brown out there,
or when Larry Fedora Christy Fedora was out there, or
gave Dolen's wife and she say, that's kind of a

(27:39):
normal thing, and we don't view it as a distraction.
So I think when people see her around, they're trying
really hard to respect the fact that that's his significant other.
And let's not judge. I do think a lot of
people are trying hard to avoid it because it's kind
of a taboo topic and it's sort of a topic

(28:00):
here that we've already had. We've already had that discussion
a long time ago, and you really don't bring it
up even in media circles. The only thing people bring
up in media circles is what she's wearing, to be
perfectly honest with you, and I guess that that's part
of the sense of humor aspect of this. But I
guess I can see what you're saying because I don't
know his past as far as women on the field.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
Wise, No, I've never seen it women.

Speaker 6 (28:25):
It's more so like if this had become a distraction historically,
he would nip it in the butt, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
We're going to check. But that's more to me.

Speaker 6 (28:32):
It's not the girlfriend, and it's just that he was
so huge or no distract.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
I couldn't evenswer a question. We're on a.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
Cincinnati and that now, if this is a big deal,
you would think you let's let's switch it up a
little bit because it's becoming a district Go ahead, right,
last ahead, maybe real fast.

Speaker 10 (28:47):
I think the lack of awareness is that it could
be something to hit on and maybe we saw that
in a lack of preparation because the lack of awareness
is that she's out there when we're in practice. The
lack of awareness is she telling her I'm looking out
for the press box. Here she is. I was really
surprised to see her, knowing that the whole world's watching.
There's almost One of my friends told me this, texted

(29:09):
me last night. Are they flaunting her? Or who are
they trying to mock with this? And I thought that
was an interesting take because he's a guy who's around
the program every day and covers it. I'm focusing on football, right,
but maybe there is something to this impacting how he
prepares and how much time he dedicates.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
All right, well, hey, you know.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
What, Andrew Man, we appreciate your time. Andrew Jones follow
him heel two four seven on X. Thank you, Andrew,
appreciate it, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
No doubt.

Speaker 6 (29:37):
All right up next, Robbie, it's time for trash talking today,
right A seven seven ninety nine on Fox. If you
want to get in, that's the chance to do so.
That is the number. Hit us up. It's the oco.
But he's Robin Kelvin, Fox Sports.

(30:34):
dot com. The way tire buying should be. It's not
out for trash talking Tuesday. I come Hotre you go,
let's do it. Darius and Seattle. You're on the couple
of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
Who you trashing? Darius?

Speaker 10 (30:49):
Okay?

Speaker 11 (30:49):
So I want to trash talk any and every talking
head who has gone against what the John's are doing.
With Russell Wilson. You know, I've been a staunch defender
of Ruffle and I'm gonna continue to defend the guy.

Speaker 7 (31:04):
He deserves it.

Speaker 11 (31:05):
He's made his mistakes, but you know, and I know
I don't have a lot of time to talk here,
but I'm just gonna say this. Don't be shocked if
he inserted himself.

Speaker 10 (31:14):
In the MVP Will race this year.

Speaker 11 (31:17):
It's gonna it's gonna go either really well or it's
gonna walk around one of the two and I'll take.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
It off there, all right, um on that. So we'll
just let you go with because I thought I've heard
him say something crazy. Yeah, he did him not to
talk him?

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Know, Chili Tim in Atlanta, you're on the couple of
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Who are you trash and chilling?

Speaker 10 (31:38):
Who?

Speaker 8 (31:38):
Yeah, I think I'm trashing. I'm trashing my entire hell.
That was a spectacle last night of other proportions. Man,
I was so disappointed. I mean, we roll out l
T we roll out MG. Julius Pepper's men. Damn y'all.
We we' not. We never experienced greatness before. We've had
great legendary coaches. We've had Dean Smith where we then,

(32:00):
by the way, they knew when it was time to leave.
That was I mean, come on, guys, having gained the
ESPN and all day we were embassed on nasal CV
with better than that, and we gotta do better. Let's
get Belichick Preddy instead of Freddy Kitchen's pretty bathroom. Get
them all out of the man because I'm tired of it.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
They gotta go all right, he playing around, no doubt.
That's funny.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
How about D and Rockford, Illinois. You're on the odd
couple of Fox Sports Radio. Hey D, who you trash? D?

Speaker 7 (32:33):
Thank him for thinking of the call. I'm gonna go
ahead and trash the first caller since you guys can't
just go ahead and put him on the bandly Mary,
I think he's on the ones in Tuesday. We'll go
ahead and black him. The other person I'm gonna go
ahead and trash trash talk is Michael parsons Man twenty sacks,
twenty pluck sacks, first bad teams. That includes Washington Panthers,

(32:56):
the Giant King if you want to add the Eagles
in there, He's done pretty well. But he's got five,
so that's over half of his sacks out of the
fifty two in its four years only against four teams,
not to mention the Packers loss, which ironically he had
zero stacks in zero tackles. His tackles total really only

(33:16):
converse the bad teams in and of himself. If you
track the stats, they go hand in hand with his
total tackles. So if he's not getting sacks, he's not
doing anything anyway. He's a front runner, his teammates complain
about him. And lastly, his mouth. Oh my god, his mouth.
There's a reason why Eagles beat them forty one to fourteen.

(33:36):
I think it was is because his mouth keeps running
and running and running, and then after the game he
wants to say it was just five plays that made
the difference. My goodness. Trashing Michael Parsons, thanks for the call.

Speaker 2 (33:48):
All right, all right, let me tell you who Jersey
he ain't buying. How about Orlando N. L. Passo.

Speaker 4 (33:56):
You're on the odd couple Fox forty radio man, Orlando,
who are you trashing?

Speaker 12 (34:03):
I'm trashing Cowboys fans because they had let themselves get
guy sighted by Jerry Jones saying that this makes us
better today. Last time the cob was won the Super Bowl,
people thought Oi was innocent and Windows ninety five the future.

Speaker 10 (34:15):
Give me a break.

Speaker 7 (34:18):
This is ridiculous.

Speaker 12 (34:19):
I mean him saying that we're good now. That weren't
gonna good now, no, man, unless these two first round
ficks becomes future Hall of famers. I thought this is
going to end well for the Cowboys, but they should
have got rid of was Dak flat out? That contract
is a nightmare. His plays a nightmare. And you said it, Rob,
you said it. You said you're more fans of the

(34:41):
unknown than the known. We know what Dak Prescott is
and isn't okay.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
We know that, no doubt. All right, Thanks for appreciating man.
That was That's what I did.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
Bring that out like like sometimes I am.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
How about Leo in New York City.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio, who you trash?

Speaker 13 (35:02):
Come around me? You don't want to make an enemy
out of me. I'll trusting Kelvin Washington and anybody who
had anything to do with for a show for the
last couple of weeks except Moncy and my sister Mary Mary.
I mean, I'll come to the show and I will
listen to six straight hours of the Jason Sleep and
Mike Harmon show because that's the only shoe. I give

(35:22):
you a phone number and never take any calls. I mean,
it got so bad we have to listen to a
segment call and nobody got time for that.

Speaker 14 (35:30):
Yes, Kelvy, we didn't have time for that segment.

Speaker 10 (35:32):
No, I want to listen.

Speaker 14 (35:34):
To the callers like oh Chili, team of Drew in
New Jersey. Andrew and Massol said paying in California, my
firsonal favorite. And even we didn't last call, we have
Helvin giving us one last take bless us like the
pastor after service on Sunday. I mean, now that Rob

(35:57):
is back, I hope we're a listener will take our
shoe back. Because one caller said, it's not your shoe,
it's our shoe, and that's why it's our favorite shoe.
Shout out to him.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
I'm out there.

Speaker 6 (36:08):
You go, Leo laying it down. You're changing show what
I was going. I told you what I tell you earlier.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
You changed the showing up. They I told you they
don't be one to take on. I told you, man, Hey,
real quick.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
Jeremy in Long Beach, you're on the Yye couple of
Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Who you're trashing Jeremy Man.

Speaker 10 (36:29):
I can go down the pipeline and go down all
kinds of angles with Michael Lrvin, with Jerry Jones Man,
But I'm trashing the odd couple.

Speaker 14 (36:38):
Man.

Speaker 10 (36:39):
I'm trashing Rob for saying what he's said, disrespecting the
great Fedrick corn Brad Maxwell calling him the greatest pwent
labor in history. You were talking about mL Car and
with that, I'm paying attention to everything. Y'all say, put
some respects on corn Bread email is the greatest play

(37:01):
room all time, And I'm.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
Out, Yeah, it was No, it was mL Car. It
was absolutely mL Car. I always do the don't say
it was a fourer VP. Yeah, yeah, we gottaut little
respect on what's fail. Yeah, we ain't get no mind.
Just they're on that team together, though. I always remember.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
That's what happens to six foot eight ten brothers. You
just mixed them up. I was supposed to tell you
that was mL Car than you were supposed to call
me out on that.

Speaker 2 (37:26):
I couldn't remember, Like now, that ain't him.

Speaker 6 (37:27):
As the older looking brother, emil Car had to be
probably thirty two thirty three then he looked sixty six on.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
The team something like that. All right, man, that was
a spirited around there.

Speaker 6 (37:36):
And see I blame robb G on that one when
I got smoke. Lad you laughing in there, robb G,
I blame you.

Speaker 4 (37:41):
See they they roasted you got don't change the show
when I'm going, what do you do blaming robber robb G?

Speaker 2 (37:47):
Robb G?

Speaker 6 (37:47):
How much time I got married to trash somebody? I'm
trashing rob G for a ho. We on't need cars
cause I say, that's what the show do, Robgi.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
Now they trashing me
