in about twenty eight minutes. Antonio Daniels, NBA Champ Serious
ExM NBA Radio New Orleans Pelicans color analysts and of

(01:28):
course a Fox Sports Radio NBA analyst. And we also
have a little shop talk coming up in about forty
two or three minutes from now as well. So a busy,
busy hour, but we're gonna focus now on the NFL.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
And we have breaking news earlier today. Yeah, that's right,
we did.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Of course, you know, we've been following this to see
because one of the things that Chiefs needed was their
receivers back, and one of them they were happy to
hopefully get back after he rehabs that ACL injury is
receiver Rashi Rice.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Yeah, Rashi Rice.

Speaker 4 (01:59):
But he has been sentenced to a thirty days in
jail in a five years probation stemming from his role
in that multi car crash in Dallas that happened back
in twenty twenty three. That was where he was speeding
almost one hundred and twenty miles per hour in the
Lamborghini SUV and ended up being a six car pile
up and with some folks obviously getting injured and thankfully

(02:20):
no one getting critically injured or dead. And so now
he has been sentence in part of that thirty day,
jelsons he can serve any time within the five year probation,
so he doesn't have to serve it now during the season.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
It can be whenever he chooses to.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
So whether he and his team decide to do this asap,
do it in three years.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
That this decision they have.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
And of course now the compensation becomes what would the
NFL do Because of their conduct policy. They can obviously
suspend him, which is expected to happen, but what will
it be?

Speaker 3 (02:51):
There in lies the question.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Right, I gotta be honest with you. I've lost total
faith in our legal system. I'm not even kidding you,
total faith in the legal system. This is for people.
If you have money, you're able to skirt things that
other people could never get out of. And judges are

(03:13):
like fans. I don't know who this judge is. I'm
just saying judges are fans. People are duy three four duys.
They don't you know what I mean? And they get
lenient that like, this situation here is so bad where
so many people could have been killed, and the idea
that he gets to choose when he wants to go

(03:33):
to jail and a five year probationary period.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
I get it. If he slips up, he's going to
jail whatever.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
You know, that's the what they throw out there. But
the idea that you could walk away from a six
car pile up, okay and walk away and you're still free.
He's got to pay these people. I get it. The
civil case is something different, oh the but the criminal Kelvin,

(04:01):
if that were you and you involved in that speeding
at that height, at that speed on the freeway, involved
in a crash and you got out of your car,
left it and walked away, Dude, Am I being ridiculous
or not?

Speaker 5 (04:19):
No?

Speaker 4 (04:19):
Listen, you know I live with a lawyer now. And
this is the benefit that money gets you. The money
gets you an opportunity. It's not necessarily sometimes, rob it
is just a system in and of itself, right like
where it could be a judge, it could be, but
you know.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
What I mean. I get your overall point. The system
can be rigged if you will.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
It is lawyers who have money, long money, who know judges,
or who know fine minute little ways out with technicalities,
or who can push things further along and stretch things
out so it can work in your favorite because money
can buy cases. In this case, and again he was
found guilty. But it's how you play it, it's how
you're positioning, it's how it stated and the average he

(04:59):
gets to pick one. And not only does he get
to pick meeting like okay, you have sixty days to decide,
he gets five years to which is at what your means.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
He gets to see.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
How the career is going. You know, maybe in three
years his career is over. Just from jie, he gets
all right, now I'll go do my thirty days. He
gets to decide four and a half years. Let me
just make all the money I can't, you know, just
whatever it takes, I can do a few what's best
for me right now?

Speaker 3 (05:26):
Working at rouse, you're going to jail? Are you kidding me?

Speaker 4 (05:32):
First of all, you can't afford the way the trial
would go, so you'd have to just take a plead.
All right, Well, now I gotta go do sixty days,
ninety days or whatever it is.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
A year. Maybe you know, you walked away from an accident.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
You don't know if anybody was dead there, You don't
know what was going on.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
You could have helped, So do you know what I'm saying?

Speaker 4 (05:50):
And this is where I think the NFL is gonna
be interesting how they come down, right, because because NFL
historically they're picky on how they do things, You're getting
some reports of some folks are saying it could be,
you know, up to two to four games. The chiefs
themselves may try to jump ahead of it and suspend them.
So then in the NFL, you know, kids, all right,

(06:10):
you got you guys.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Did it good?

Speaker 4 (06:11):
You knocked it out two to four games good, some
people up to the four games, up to six games.
But what is also happening to me the larger conversation
of man, youse, young guys. I have to stop being
so reckless now. I'm not gonna sit on here in
the soapbox. Acts like when I was nineteen twenty twenty one,
I didn't do stupid things. God thankfully I didn't crash.
I was never going one hundred and twenty miles powers.

(06:31):
But you're good. I mean, we all did dumb things
when you were young. But this is kind of a
trend right now. You got Vikings receiver Jordan Addison, who
has been really good in the NFL thus far, but
he pleaded today to wet reckless of offense in DUI case,
so he was under the influence.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
He pleaded no contests.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
In his case, he apologizes and he gets the lesser
charge because he pled guilty to that wet, reckless offense.
You have, you and I talked about who was speeding,
and now the report comes out it was a couple
of times chaduor Sanders, Chaudore Sanders just now getting in
the league, and it come to find out he's got
a couple instances of driving recklessly and too fast. So

(07:09):
these guys have to realize. I know you got some money,
I know you got the fast cars, but please believe man,
your life can change in an instant, and others people
lives can change in an instant as well. Or someone else
the maame someone We we know what happened when we
had somebody.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
Who from from the Raiders.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
Yes, uh, come on, Kelvin, Uh give me his name
real quick. But he killed somebody and then of course
he's in jail. He got he got out and got
back into the league as well. But my point is
that we know how things can turn. Your intentions were
not to harm somebody. Your intentions were not to hurt anybody,
right right with the Raiders, we got Rugs. I wasn't

(07:47):
even talking about him. Who are you talking about raiders
in the Cleveland Browns. It'll come to me in a minute,
the Cleveland Browns. Yeah, receiver, you know what I'm talking about.
It'll come to me back about about ten years ago,
ten twelve. Nope, it'll come to me. But the more
you keep asking me, howld On let me get to
my point and left the company. But my point is
your intentions weren't that it was a halffun the race

(08:07):
got this fast car. But things can change in a hurry.
And this is where teams will emphasize. They'll say, hey,
you know we have security. You know we have security
that drive you anywhere. You guys are going to the
club tonight.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
But that wasn't about a club that was driving showing
off for Lamborghini right at one hundred and twenty miles
an hour. That that's not that's not coming home. It
was a six car pile up. I mean, like, seriously,
that's where you were just being reckless. I get the
uber and the lift and then going to clubs and all.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
That, but they need but that's where that's this is
bigod than it. So this is that. But I'm also so.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
Many guys you were in that car who got out
and walked and walked away, left the car there like
no one's gonna know that that you're.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Being young and dumb. Oh shoot, we gotta just get
out of here to crash. Oh and just running.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Bet, I got the guy your talking about. Dante's Dante
Starworth exactly what I'm talking about. He killed someone, uh
and eventually got back in the league. And I always
use him as an example.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
I'm glad you know he was able to change his
life and obviously try to make amends and was contried
and show contrition.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
I use that as an example.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
I always say, because you can literally kill someone tragically
and get back in the league. And I always say
that's where Michael Vick all he did or not Michael Vick,
but Colin Kaepernick nailed for you know, justice and injustice
and he couldn't get back in the league.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
In this case with Rice, I think if you're Roger Goodell,
you can't go soft like the judge.

Speaker 3 (09:24):
The judge in this case went very very soft.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
If I'm Roger Goodell, at least half the season and
I wouldn't be mad if it was the whole season.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
I mean, my thing, the crash is one thing.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Leaving the scene of an accident is the lowest thing
you can do do you don't know because you don't
know what.

Speaker 3 (09:43):
You don't know the condition that somebody is.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
You might have been able to help that person or
those people are safe a life. That's why you can't.
You can't leave the scene of an accident. Right, I
made a mistake, something happened, whatever, Oh my god help.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
That's the idea that has helped what you caused too.
It's not like you drove by an accident and a.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Judge thinks that okay, Like he's an NFL player, So
I'm gonna let him decide when he's gonna go to jail.

Speaker 3 (10:13):
And put them on probation. That's what What would it take?

Speaker 1 (10:16):
Somebody had to die there for them to give him
any real jail time.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Not being maimed or injured is that it?

Speaker 4 (10:23):
I do think, not from what i'm you know what
I'm gathering him not being with the DUI that I
think that helped him a lot if it.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Were one hundred and twenty miles. I know I'm not
arguing that, but I'm saying this is seventy five or
sixty five.

Speaker 4 (10:38):
Not having drugs, probably because had there's been a dui
with that, had there been a point of clarification.

Speaker 6 (10:44):
Prosecutors are saying that he's expected required rather to pay
the victims out of pocket medical expenses, which total about
one hundred and fifty thousand.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
That's in there. Yep, yeah, yeah, yeah, we told you
about Yeah, that's for him. That's a that's nothing. That's nothing.

Speaker 4 (10:57):
What cool because I got you know what I got.
You can what I got, Martin, But this I got
five years to make some more money. There's gotta be
a civil case too, if I'm a lawyer.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Are you kidding?

Speaker 7 (11:05):
It's like one game on the field, term, Yeah, that'll
happen the civil.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
All right, where are you I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
I'm saying six games half a season minimum, I take
a year. Roger Goodell, don't don't go soft like the
judge did because maybe just maybe they were Chiefs fans.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
I say it's gonna be six to eight.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
You're gonna get six to eight games, because I think
that they're looking at that as the max. Part of
it being about half the season. He doesn't have a
bunch of prize in that regard, and I think they're
gonna that the D nine DUI will be the key
thing that will I think will give him some grace
with him. But absolutely they if they wanted to, they
can make an example out of him, because again I
just read off a couple of other two three other

(11:46):
young stars.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
That's why Key's.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Happening, because the NFL won't come down on people. Okay,
somebody bet on the game and they lost a whole season.
This guy's driving one hundred and twenty miles an hour,
crash a six pile up, him and his buddies get
up right out of the car.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
And walk away and flee. Are you kidding me? Seriously?

Speaker 1 (12:11):
I was outwaged when I saw what what the penalty was.
I was That's why I do think the court system,
the judges, I'm sorry, it is so. And if people
want to talk about, oh, you're reacted or whatever, if
you're a regular Joe.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
The system is against you, because it ain't.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
No, there's no way if you if you were working
at ROWS and you did the same exact thing and
you and your buddies got out of.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
A car, you'd be under the jail.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
Are you kidding? Yeah, you would, you would go, you
would do the time immediately. You would do the time
immediately at least six months to a year, all right,
and that would be something that would be that would
be the case. But you want to get money, you
can put things off and get the best case scenario.

Speaker 3 (12:53):
That's what money can afford you, for sure.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. How many games
should he get? Should the NFL go soft like the judge?
Or or should should this be an example?

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Where are you?

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I'm outraged. I'm not fake outraged. I'm outraged because clean
the scene?

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Am I right? Accident's happened. That's the part.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
You cannot flee a scene. You might be able to
help somebody. You could have saved somebody's life, and that
you don't. You have no idea what's going on in
those other cars? Zero and you take it upon yourself
to go, let's see if somebody's heard. Let's pull somebody out,
let's save their leg eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.

uber rides, conveyor belt securities, and now you're eating it.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
You are a brave man.

Speaker 7 (15:04):
So according to Google, Ricky just walked in. According to Google,
if there's ham with any green or gray on it,
it's been spoiled. So you can do what you want
with the information rights looking a little gray?

Speaker 3 (15:14):
What's all right? Looks good? I'm all right.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
But you know what I did is I covered the

a mental thing, right, Hey, k doub live for me.
Odd couple FSR and Rob Park MLB bro go look
on Instagram so you can vote on what we just
did there, all right? It is the Odd Couple Robin
Kelvin on a TV theme song Thursday. For over forty years,

(15:37):
tyre Raq has been helping customers find the right times
for how, what and where they drive shit fast and
free back by free Road has their protection with convenient
installation options like mobile tire insulation ti rock dot com.
It is the way tire buying should be.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
On the way Antonio Daniels in about seven minutes or so,
we'll talk to Hoops and with him, but right now
we're talking about she Rice, who got a thirty day
jail sentence that he serve anytime in his five year
probation for a six car pilop that he cost when
he was going one hundred nineteen hundred and twenty miles
in his SUV Lamborghini. And Rob and I asked a question,

(16:12):
did he get off light? Should the NFL suspend him?

Speaker 3 (16:14):
How long?

Speaker 4 (16:15):
I said, he's gonna he's gonna get six to eight.
You said minimum half a season should be a year.
We'll see what you guys say. Eight seven, seven ninety
nine on Fox.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Who we got?

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Let's start with Tom and Tulsa. You're on the odd
couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (16:27):
What's up? Tom?

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Gentlemen, love this show?

Speaker 9 (16:30):
Thanks for making us a part of it.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Yeah, I appreciate you, no doubt you are a big
part of this show.

Speaker 3 (16:34):
For sure.

Speaker 9 (16:36):
It's the best show.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Appreciate that.

Speaker 9 (16:39):
I'm gonna say, Rob, if you and I did this
at our in our job, we'd probably.

Speaker 10 (16:44):
Be let go. Yes, and something.

Speaker 9 (16:46):
Like this, And yes, he wasn't drinking and driving, but
he was being even reckless by going on.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
Arder and whatever, one hundred and twenty.

Speaker 9 (16:53):
What you do outside of work? Reflect your work. That's
just like the guy last night at the Coplay concert.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
YEP stuff was just telling me just say yeah, I
didn't know and I saw the video just literally right.

Speaker 9 (17:04):
That was what he did last night impact everything. So
an employer, an employer like the judge and Jerry, Yes,
he went before a judge and got a very white
sentence like we're not gonna do thirty consecutive games. You
can pick and choose your days. An employer can say,
you know what you made, you made headline news, you
made us look bad. We put a chance on you.

Speaker 10 (17:24):
You're gone.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
No, especially when you're you're Uh.

Speaker 9 (17:28):
The NFL should go heavy. And you know Nick Savin
did a speech in front of kids after Henry Ruggs.

Speaker 10 (17:34):
I thought that.

Speaker 9 (17:34):
Would hit home more, that more coaches would show that
to make better decisions. But no, you know they're young
and it's careless. But I'll wait for your responsibility.

Speaker 10 (17:41):
Thanks.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
Henry made another example as well. I was I mentioned
Dante Star Wars we got should do it with a
couple of speeding tickets.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
I mean again, I'm.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Not gonna act like people are regular people are speeding
right now listening to us. It happens. But you know,
one hundred and nineteen hundred and twenty is a whole
other level.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Michael in Portland, you're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up, Michael, Rob? How you doing doing great?

Speaker 3 (18:04):
How are you?

Speaker 10 (18:05):
Hey?

Speaker 11 (18:06):
Yeah, I'm doing super. Don't worry about these guys sweating
on that sandwich. Your stomachs as good as your takes,
as strong as them takes, You're gonna be fine.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Do you know they are, no doubt about it. We'll see.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
I'll keep you updated, Michael, to see if he takes
off to the bathrooms.

Speaker 11 (18:21):
Yeah, yeah, to two points real quick, he's gonna be good.

Speaker 8 (18:23):
Kelvin one, Kelvin, I really believe, you know, not drinking
on you know, no drugs, all that stuff. It really
actually shows that this kid's judgment is you know, even worse,
you know what I mean, like to do that and
be sober and walk away.

Speaker 11 (18:38):
It's really bad, you know. To Rob's point, how you
know how it pertains I couldn't agree with you more.
How it pertains the NFL perception a couple things, right,
They gotta go hard half a season more, no problem
with that, And a big part of that is this
perception that the league is in the tank with the
Chiefs and want to do everything with the officiating, everything else.

(18:59):
This is going to throw more gas on that fire
if they just let this guy come right back complain.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
Thank you.

Speaker 12 (19:05):
Really enjoyed the show, guys, no doubt.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Michael.

Speaker 10 (19:07):
Yes, stay cool out here talking.

Speaker 11 (19:09):
To the West coast.

Speaker 3 (19:10):
Ydal appreciate you. Michael.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
Make sure you listen to the next hour. We got
to talk about Damian Lillard. He's up there importantly.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
I can't wait for that. Mark and Sacramento. You're on
the couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
What's up? Mark?

Speaker 12 (19:22):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Gentlemen?

Speaker 10 (19:23):
Rob?

Speaker 5 (19:24):
You're not ready to have you a pepto bismo cocktailed
him bout the hours.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
All let's me do sandwiches in two days.

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Crazy. That's how you wash it down, is what I
would have bad Ham, not good, not.

Speaker 4 (19:41):
Good Man, say excuse me, come on calling before me.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
He brought up a young being a Raider fan.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
I was about ready to bring.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Up Rubb should be a poster jar right now for
what could happen.

Speaker 9 (19:52):
Yeah, and I agree with you, Rob.

Speaker 5 (19:55):
Punish him to the.

Speaker 10 (19:56):
Extent of as much as you can they got to
teach his kids.

Speaker 5 (19:59):
You can't be driving.

Speaker 10 (20:01):
You can't do this.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
You can't you want to drive that fast. You take
your ass off the high when you're to go out
in the middle of the desert out there there, it's
not you care when you can just hit squirrels and visits,
but you don't be doing that in the city.

Speaker 12 (20:15):
They gotta stop this. You got your cars.

Speaker 5 (20:18):
You ain't gonna panty cars.

Speaker 10 (20:19):
And I sold, what's just crazy.

Speaker 12 (20:23):
You're gonna kill somebody exactly.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
And the guy who and Mark thanks for the call,
made a great point that they walked away and it was.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
Sober like like you know what, like you're being paid.
I was drunk, I was done. I was drunk. I
didn't know what I was doing. You're sober, and you
people scare kids who knew they were in the wrong.
John in Texas, you're in the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio.

Speaker 12 (20:43):
What's up, John, John, guys, I just want to say
green eggs and ham are fine. That's right, green ham
and eggs.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
Excuse me, it's all right. I can't see the green
because of the mayonnaise though. Cover Hey, he said, John,
out of sight, out of mind is what he's saying.

Speaker 12 (21:01):
I agree with you, Ondred percent. I think they got
to throw the book at him. I'm a Chiefs fan
and they got to set an example there. Absolutely also, uh,
if they leave the scene of a crime, man have
to be treated worse than a DBI because there'll be
kids out there that are drinking and they're gonna say, hey,
I got to get out of it.

Speaker 10 (21:19):
I got here.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
You cannot leave the scene, no doubt about it. That's
the bad part for sure.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
Good show, guys, We appreciate you John as always. All right,
thank you everybody for the call. Great stuff. By the way,
if you want to go see the green eggs and
ham sandwhich that this man is eating in my face
right now is ridiculous, go check it out again.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
A couple fs R people looking on YouTube. There's nothing
green on here? Can you see this? Why why didn't
you show on the back? I don't want to show
it because he got hair on the back. You go
check it out. KUP Live for myself and of course
Rod Parker MLB.

Speaker 5 (21:48):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
All right, we got.

Speaker 4 (21:50):
Antonio Daniels on the other side right now, Martin Weiss, Martin,
you want to what's nice?

Speaker 3 (21:55):
You want to bite Martin. Is that contagious Martin?

Speaker 4 (21:59):
The sandwich in through multiple states, airplane conveyor belt, security,
hotel rooms, uber rides and all the way. Now he's eating.
That's just crazy. Back and forth to Sherman. Oh yeah,
that's just wild. Wow continue, I'm.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
Sorry, Damie Lullard, Back and forth to Portland. Good one.

Speaker 6 (22:16):
I wondered if I'm not even gonna try to make
a joke about being rotten or old anything.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Well, not right now? He down in bad right now? Well,
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (22:25):
Three years, forty two million dollars with one Achilles, nine
time NBA All Star, getting from the Portland Trail Blazers,
with a player option for twenty seven to twenty eight
and a no trade clause. I'd say this, if he's
done bad, this is the best day's gonna half all week.
Kaitlyn Clark Well missed three point contest in the All
Star Game in Indianapolis this weekend after sustaining a groin
injury Sunday.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
I'm sorry, verse the Sun on Tuesday.

Speaker 6 (22:49):
In her statement, Clark says she will be present for
all the action and contrary to a.

Speaker 3 (22:55):
Couple of reports, the WNBA.

Speaker 6 (22:56):
All Star Game will still gonna happen occurring in Indianapolis.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
The commissioners not listening to the show no early might
he might catch the podcast.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
She might catch the podcast. My back. TJ.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
Wallatt became the highest payn quarterback in the NFL history,
the forty one million per year average three years, one
hundred and twenty three million dollars on that extension one
hundred and eight million dollars fully guaranteed.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
Rashi Rice sent this.

Speaker 6 (23:20):
To five years probation and thirty days in jail time
that can be served during those five years, stemming from
his role in a multi called multi car crash. Jordan
addisonpleted guilty to a lesser charge to resolve a twenty
four DEUI citation. The pleate agreement, though still leaves him
subject to NFL discipline and Texas A and M coach
Mike Elko squashed any speculation that Cincinnati Bengals rookie defensive

(23:44):
end Shamar Stewart is potentially shaking a return to college
amid a contract dispute with the Bengals. The contract dispute
is they won't give him a contract, he won't sign it.

Speaker 3 (23:54):
That's where the dispute lie. That that sounds about right.

Speaker 9 (23:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Shamar Stewart was like, I'm gonna work out in Texas
until he figured this ound.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Give me my money, is what he said. There you go,
all right, Martin, appreciate you. It is the odd couple.
He's rob. I'm Kelvin on AA TV theme song Thursday,
We Got our Man. Antonio Daniels, NBA Champ, Serious Exit Radio,
New Orleans, Pelicans, Fox Sports Radio, NBA analyst, the hardest
working man in showbiz.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Hey, Diesel, what up?

Speaker 9 (24:19):
Man?

Speaker 3 (24:20):
What's happening?

Speaker 9 (24:21):
Traveler?

Speaker 5 (24:22):
What is going on?

Speaker 3 (24:24):
How are you?

Speaker 5 (24:25):
I am awesome man, so truly truly blessed to say
the least.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
I gotta ask you real quick. I'm coming down. I'm visiting.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
I don't know if where you're at or where you are,
but I need to talk to you and see if
you're going to be in a town that I'm visiting
pretty soon.

Speaker 11 (24:40):
Okay, please all wait, well.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
I will reach out to see because I'm gonna be
in some of those towns that I think you're gonna
be in one of those.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
I think you live in one of those, so I'll
definitely do that.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
Let's go right here, Bradley Beal and to deal with
the Clippers. You know, I think that adds to the Clippers.
We talked this the other day that the Clippers to
me are like the chosen franchise.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
People come to the Clippers. I don't know if it's
just Ty Lou.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
I don't know if it's because they have an understated superstar,
you know, a.

Speaker 3 (25:12):
Bomber or the owner Steve Bamer or Kawhi.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
But but they get people, you know what I mean,
when there's a chance of people moving on. What do
you make of Bradley Beal and why do the Clippers
seem to keep getting people?

Speaker 5 (25:25):
Well, I think good for Bradley Beal first.

Speaker 10 (25:28):
And foremost because obviously it wasn't going to work in Phoenix.

Speaker 5 (25:32):
Kind of sucks for Devin Booker because now he's there alone, right,
you know, no Bradley Beal, no Kevin Durant. So it's
now it's like, you know, no DeAndre Ay, no Chris Baul,
all these other stars that they have there have now left.

Speaker 13 (25:47):
You know.

Speaker 5 (25:47):
I think the biggest reason why people choose the Clippers,
it seems like, as opposed to the Lakers, it's because
with the Clippers you're still in la yep, but you
are not the franchise, so it's less pressure, less pressure
when you signed with the Clippers as opposed to sign
it with the Lakers.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
Yeah, but I hear that.

Speaker 1 (26:07):
But like in the in Kawhi situation, right when he collab,
he could have joined the Lakers and with a D
and Lebron probably.

Speaker 3 (26:14):
Would have won more.

Speaker 5 (26:15):
I mean, that's different.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
He had a chance, and he still didn't want to
go there.

Speaker 5 (26:19):
I know, But that's different because if I'm a star,
if I'm a star, do I want to go somewhere
and be second or third fiddle to Lebron and Anthony
Davis or do you want to I want to go
somewhere that's in the same city, where's actually my team.

Speaker 10 (26:35):
I mean, I'm Kawhi Leonard.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
That makes all of sense in the world why he
chose the Clippers.

Speaker 1 (26:40):
But I'm saying, even like like brook Lopez, the Lakers
wanted him, he didn't go there, you know what I mean,
Like brook Lopez isn't worried about being understated or the
pressure playing for the Lakers, and still he That's why
I think that there has to be uh ty lud.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
Maybe that they like or and I think Tyler has
a lot okay too, because they firm believe. I'm a
firm believer coaching matters.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Yeah, I think. I think he's one of the best
coaches in the league.

Speaker 5 (27:05):
I just as do I as do I. And it's
not just the ex and oath part. It's the relationship part.
It's the understanding part. It's the ability to communicate like
that makes it huge difference. Like you don't think that
they was all due respect to day Jay ready, you
don't think if the Lakers had a chance to do
it over that they would go out and sign.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
Toronto without a dude. And that was dollars. It was
over the dolls.

Speaker 4 (27:29):
And he had and he couldn't bring his own guys,
Rob He wanted to bring a couple of his own.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
And they wanted to name his assistance. Right, are you
gonna do that to.

Speaker 4 (27:36):
A coach that won a championship? It has been high
caliber for sure. A d I want I want to
ask you this one. I want to go to Giannis.
There are still reports Vinnie Goodwill, a friend of the show,
your former nephew, nephew I was.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
Married to his cousin.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
Though for clarification, uh he is reporting out there that
the Knicks haven't given up on him. His multiple reports
that the Knicks are still holding off on getting him.
At some point he has said he is you know,
he wants to stay, and he said he's still trying
to make it happen in Milwaukee. What do you make
of this, Johannisaka, Is he just putting pressure on them
or do you think he's actually considering getting out of Milwaukee.

Speaker 5 (28:13):
I mean, here's the thing.

Speaker 10 (28:15):
I don't know his thought process, but I will.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Say this, Kevin, with all due respect to the Milwaukee Bucks,
that management, to Jannis, to Doc Rivers and that coaching staff,
what are their options moving forward? What are their options?
How much better can they possibly get? They have twenty
two and a half million dollars of dead money over
Damian Lula over the next five years and he's not playing.

(28:40):
So here's the thing. When you're looking to the future
for an organization, it's that skinner's around good young players,
financial flexibility and graft assets.

Speaker 10 (28:53):
They don't have any of them.

Speaker 5 (28:55):
They have none of them. So here's where they are.
That's why they had to Waiven stretched Damian Lillard to
bring in even bring him out Turner, How good can
they possibly be me moving forward?

Speaker 3 (29:07):
And here's the big well in the in.

Speaker 10 (29:08):
The okay with this?

Speaker 5 (29:10):
If he's okay with this being six or seventh in
the Eastern Conference and going in and out of the
playing tournament and so on and so forth, Like obviously
they don't have the team constructed to compete with some
of these other teams in the Eastern Conference or a
lot of teams in the Western Conference. But sometimes you
can be loyal to a fault.

Speaker 10 (29:29):
But we'll see where Yanna's is.

Speaker 1 (29:31):
Yeah, I think that's who he is. I mean when
whenever do you remember before everybody wanted him to leave
and go to Miami when they got not swept by
the heat? You remember that and they all called him
dumb and he's crazy, he'll never win, and what he do?
He won a championship in Milwaukee. He doesn't work out
with the other guys, he's not in the clicks thing,

(29:52):
and that just it just seemed like, Uh, Milwaukee's fine,
and and he doesn't want to move on. So we'll see,
uh where that plays out.

Speaker 5 (30:01):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
The other one, what was the other thing? Was talking
about Dame Lillard?

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Uh, I wouldn't I wouldn't have him back. If I
was a fan, I would not welcome him back. He
didn't want to be there. He wanted out. It's not
like or like he traded him away. He didn't want
to be there, and now he's injured. And now he's injured,
and now he wants a safe haven to come back
to play out his years and not have any pressure,

(30:27):
be comfortable that that's what he wants now from Portland.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
I wouldn't. I wouldn't do it.

Speaker 10 (30:31):
So here's my thing.

Speaker 1 (30:33):
Like it.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
It's amazing to me how players develop a bad infortation
for being in a certain situation and organizations don't put
the pieces around you to win.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
It's you're right to want to go, but that's fine, but.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
I'm saying you could.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
You could ask to go, but I'm saying I'm not
remarrying my ex wife.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
I'm not doing it.

Speaker 1 (30:54):
He was there, he couldn't win there, Why come back now?
So it's Damian Lillard basically said I don't want to win.
I just want a comfortable place where I can make
some money and play.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
And is that so?

Speaker 1 (31:07):
So he is the one who said you can't win
there and I need to go away. So why is
he coming back to a place you can't win.

Speaker 5 (31:15):
Why It wasn't the fact that you couldn't win there,
you couldn't win there at that time, at that time,
but the way that that roster was constructed, And there's
nothing wrong with that thought process teams doing all the time.
If they don't feel like that they have constructed a
roster to win, they trade guys away.

Speaker 1 (31:33):
He's the one who asked out. I get that. He's
the one who asked out. I'm just saying as a fan,
I couldn't, really, I couldn't embrace him again.

Speaker 5 (31:40):
I couldn't, Man, That's that's they're gonna.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
They're gonna they're gonna accept him back because I am
because you are pretty petty. But they're gonna absolutely embrace
him back because of everything he meant. He was not
a complainer, He was not some bad because he put
in all those But you like they're doing something great,
like you don't want to be a part of this greatness?

Speaker 3 (32:02):
Well, but now doing that, now, what is he coming
back for? What is he coming back for?

Speaker 1 (32:08):
He just wants a comfortable place because he got he
got the ziggie.

Speaker 3 (32:12):
They told him to get out in Milwaukee.

Speaker 5 (32:14):
Rob you literally just said it. He's coming back for comfort,
right He's coming back to give him.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
A bowl of macaroni and cheese if he wants comfort.
I'm good right now, I'm hungry.

Speaker 10 (32:25):
That's the way it goes. You see guys doing all
the time.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
They go back, they put on a jersey one last
time and hang it up.

Speaker 5 (32:33):
How about what's the biggest where's the biggest rumor that
you hear Lebron's right.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
Now Cleveland in his career.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Or you remember Dwayne Wade left to heat to go
to Chicago right for a cup of coffee in the
sweet role more than he was gonna make in Miami,
and then he goes right back, Like.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
What was that?

Speaker 4 (32:52):
Because guys feel slighter, Guys feels like you're you didn't
take full advantage. I take that much more money in Chicago.
But they wanted to show pat Riley Roddy be petty too, you.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Know, Rock.

Speaker 5 (33:02):
Anytime we have these conversations, anytime we have this conversation,
I tell about co host this all the time, those
series XM. What we're not taking into consideration is ego.

Speaker 10 (33:13):
Oh what I taking a consideration?

Speaker 5 (33:15):
How important egos and how significant egos are in the
decisions that are being made either way.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
And and you talking about a guy like d Wade
who at that point proven champion and pat Riley.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
It don't get no more pat Riley.

Speaker 4 (33:29):
It don't get no more egotistical than pat All right, Ad,
some time we got up against it. Man, Appreciate you
as always. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend to
the weekend.

Speaker 5 (33:38):
For sure, appreciate it.

Speaker 10 (33:39):
Pholos.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
All right, there you have it, Ad right there breaking
it down all the way. We got h It's time
for shop talk. We'll have some fun there. We got
one that's just going viral. The conversation is everywhere right
looking at in front of the TV right now, we're
looking at it. We'll do that one. It is the
couple on a TV thing. So on Thursday, Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk line up
in the nation. Catch all of our shows at foxsports
Radio dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR
to listen live.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
Will be that.

Speaker 1 (34:11):
Man here we go, let him let it bring Okay,
was before stronger but stronger faster?

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Did you like the six million dollars dollar? This was
a fun show. Yeah, Steve Oss.

Speaker 4 (34:28):
Now wait was this one did they jock with the
uh the Bionic Man, not the Biomic Woman, Miamic Woman.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Yeah, okay, it was on two different networks. But the
thing that was crazy, Oscar Goldman, the Boss was on.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
Both shows' getting them double checks? Now that unbelievable. He
was on NBC and ABC at the same time with
two shows.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Hey, that's that mailbox money. I'm not mad at that.
That's why it was NBC U. Later when he was
working at ABC. Yeah, he said, I'm a a I'm
gonna be seeing some checks, is what he said. It's
the hot cup of Rod McKelvin on a TV theme.
So on Thursday, clearly eggingy, he stiff back Joyce not cooperating.
That was me earlier. Man, I told jo I was
beating down today, had to get him touched. Some days
your body's just like nah bruh. And on those days,

(35:08):
luckily there is a lead with just one pill of
lead provides up to twelve hours of paid relief so
you can keep moving use as directly.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
It's time now for shop talk. Ain't nobody ain't nothing
to bomp shop?

Speaker 5 (35:19):
You know that.

Speaker 4 (35:19):
Ain't nobody you can talk about whoever, whatever, whatever you
want to in a box slip way.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
You know, it's shop talking, all right, it is shop talk.
Shay what you got for us?

Speaker 7 (35:29):
Welcome into shop talk. We do it all here in
the odd couple. And today you might have seen it
on the news because it's definitely everywhere. Coldplay is doing
concerts right now and they like to do this little
thing where they put people on stage and on the
on the TV monitor.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
So unfortunately this.

Speaker 7 (35:45):
Past weekend a couple was on the TV monitor and
right when they got on the TV monitor, they decided
to hide, and for some reason, no one knew why.
Everyone was kind of like, oh, and the Coldplay artist
actually went on to say, oh, they must be having
an affair.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
Yess who they were having an affair?

Speaker 7 (36:02):
And those that were having an affair were CEO of
the company astronomer and guess who he was having the
affair with.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
This is the crazy pro chief human.

Speaker 7 (36:13):
Resources officer, a stock cab it. So they were actually
caught on the TV screen, or not the TV the
monitor monitor, jumbo tron, jumbo tron. There we go, the
jumbo tron at the concert and the minute they were
on screen you could see them hiding, hiding their faces.
This footage went popular on TikTok earlier this morning and

(36:33):
has recently blown up. You could see it on news,
Fox everywhere. What do you guys think about this?

Speaker 4 (36:39):
Well, first of all, okay, so let's start with the dobvious.
Neither one of them should be cheating on their spouses.
That is absolutely not okay, and they shouldn't be right.
That's that, even though that a lot of people do it,
but I hear what.

Speaker 3 (36:50):
So I'm saying, So that started. There's that.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
Secondly, if they were they're all up at the concert
hugging up. I used to the world enjoying some co play,
hugged up, and and what a.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
Bunch of their coworkers or whoever those.

Speaker 4 (37:04):
People were to a bunch of co work because you
can see their faces like, oh my gosh, they got caught.
So then Rob, they didn't even play it off. He
tries to hide like a five year old, and she
just turns around like maybe he won't notice me, and
then it just from there it goes. It's all downhill.
So yeah, that was just a bad situation. And of
course they say on the Facebook his wife has changed.

Speaker 7 (37:24):
Yes, her name, so on Facebook she used to have
a last name, no longer has a last name, and
actually deleted her entire Facebook, so she no longer even
has a Facebook.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
And then rightfully, so, how embarrassing? Exactly? And here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
You're you're both married, and you're at a public event together,
not a huge concentre, a whole You're not in a
hotel room where she comes in the room and then
you come in thirty minutes later, whatever nobody knows.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
You came on. What's going on? How this is all
for her?

Speaker 10 (37:59):
Well planned out? You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Else No, I'm just saying, the boy rob out here
and then she's on them, riding him or whatever you
want to say.

Speaker 7 (38:10):
We were they grinding a minute, they were cuddling. It
was a good moment. It wasn't a good moment because
of what happened.

Speaker 13 (38:18):
She was in front of him, whoa elizah my need this?
Oh wait a minute breaking. We thought he was going
to Magic City getting dancing. You've been doing a dancing.

Speaker 3 (38:30):
Let me tell you something.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
They might have been at a cold Play concert, but
they were hot.

Speaker 7 (38:36):
I was actually on the table right now, I'm moving
those guys can't see it.

Speaker 3 (38:40):
He's crazy.

Speaker 4 (38:41):
Alex Kinko's is in full now moist right now, hold on,
you got to relax, Nedsue, Alex. This is this is
too much information right now. I mean like you gave
us the fool play by play and you know what,
and then she parked down the street and then you know,
it's not like he brought a bottle of my weather
or anything like.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
But you know what, what else? The wife is right
to delete her Facebook. I would, I would, I would
get divorced from this guy because it's not it's enough
that you're cheating on me, but you're so brazen with
it that I don't know if they have a family
of kids they do that you that you could go
to You could go out in public and do.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
That in front of other people, knowing you're married. That's
what it is.

Speaker 4 (39:24):
Concert It wasn't like you said, they didn't get randomly.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
There's too much money involved. From the reports of the
jobs that i've she knew. I think she knew. She knew,
we knew. You just embarrassed. That's the part. You can't
embarrass me in front of all because you got how
am I supposed to go to the grocery store. Now
she can't. Soccer soccer club, soccer mom club.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
Because here's why you here's why you know that she
knew because everybody else knew around them, you get them.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
It wasn't like they were just there. It was that.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
For what is he looking for? Was okay, he knew. Seriously,
you just said she knew, So what is he duncking for?

Speaker 3 (40:04):
She made no kind of no, but no, I don't
want to know. Now everybody knows.

Speaker 7 (40:08):
And the thing is, though, if he never ducked, that
probably never would have gone.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
That's what a lot of people.
