was that against the Falcons? Back to back losses now
for Buffalo, but last night was just not we saw.
We saw Alan looking like when he first came in
the league, A little sloppy on some stuff right, some

But the Buffalo Bills didn't look that good last night,
not at all. Now this is the fund staff for
you guys. The Buffalo Bills have not been lower than
first place or tied for first place in the AFC
East since the end of the twenty twenty three season. Today, Tuesday,
October fourteenth, they are second to the New England Patriots.

Just to give you context of what's going on with Buffalo.
Last night was tough, only one game better than the Jets.
No I'm kidding. The Buffalo Bills had gone I think
they had won their turnover battle for like fourteenth straight games.

The last two weeks they have turned the ball over.

I believe it is now five times.

They had more turnovers than a bakery.

Josh Allen only completed fifteen to twenty six passes. He
was pressured all night. The offensive line was doing well
running the ball, but they stopped running the ball. And
they're outside receivers, which is everybody who's not a slot receiver.
Over the last five games have averaged eighty nine yards combined.

Over their last five games, They've only gone over one
hundred yards during that stretch.

That was against the New York Jetropolitans, and they did
that by getting one hundred and four yards. So there's
no threats on the outside. Josh Allen is under siege.
They had no respect for any of those receivers. And
here's another one, just to give you some more context
what's going on in Buffalo. The last few weeks, the
Philadelphia Eagles have been a big talking point on national media.

thrower the football. Over the last two weeks, the Buffalo
Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles both ozer and two, both
averaging is velt seventeen points per game, both averaging exactly

five point seven yards per play. Something's wrong in Buffalo.

Yeah, the problem is and this happens with teams.

This happens when you have a good to great player,
When you have an MVP caliber, in this case the
reigning MVP, you become that person reliant. The Bills are
Josh Allen, reliant and rob You can look at it
like a family member.

When you've got that one.

Family member that always comes through, the family member that
always gonna be dependable. What happens. Maybe it's you. That's
why I said, maybe it's you. It's I know it's

I wish somebody had it for me once, right, just like,
can you be that for me? Yeah? Well, how are
we gonna they got it?

When the bill comes cal got it, I'm like, dang it,
I got it. Yeah you got you got eight job,
Yeah you got it. And so that's what happens.

You become reliant on that person to figure it out,
to make it happen.

They're so good it comes easy for them. It's natural
for them.

And the Bills have become that they've got it person,
and in this case is Josh Allen.

He's got it.

He'll scramble around, he'll make MVP, super Bowl, Superman tight plays.
He'll jump over the crowd, He'll scramble and make a
play that should have been there. When schematically you look
at the Bills, they don't look great right now. You
don't know what they do they you know what's crazy.
We talk about this all the time, me and Rob g.
James Cook is a really good running back who if
it doesn't go right after a driver to they run

away from him. If they're not up big and they're
trying to run the clock out, they run away from
James could. They don't use him enough. They don't have
a skill set. On the outside. They got some decent
tight ends. But the problem is schematically, you don't know
what they do well, and it ends up being Josh
Allen scrambling and the Falcons what they did. And those
boys are fast, they play hard, they play and aggressive.

They blitzed him seventy I think was seventy one percent
of the time, forty something pressure on him and he
was running.

For his life all night.

Well, and they're not good enough to be always having
to play from behind, because again they don't mix it
up enough. It just becomes Josh Allen last point, real quick.
This was supposed to be the season, rob.

The Chiefs look bad in the Super Bowl. Maybe they're down,
Maybe they're taking a step back. Travis Kelsey's washed, maybe
Andy Reive losing a step, maybe Patrick Mahomes's peak. This
was supposed to be seasoned. Lamar Jackson down, doesn't look right,
their defense is terrible. Joe into the season, right, what
I'm saying, going into the season, you already knew they
were high. Hope you're in the mix.

They're in the mix, But don't take by the advantage
of this because most people picked Baltimore coming into the.

I mean I did too, but a lot of people
picked the Bills because they thought they felt the same
way about Lamarlo.

Oh, he's just not gonna able to get it done.
You and I.

I picked Ravens to get to the super Bowl, but
a lot of people felt like it would be Josh Allen.
It's his season now, and you can't waste away early
Luca type years, early lebron and Cleveland when you have
this guy and you just don't build around it, and
you're just like, oh, they'll figure it out. Lebrono scored
twenty five straight against you know, those Detroit basketball pisses
and get us to the finals.

Luca will figured out. Drag Us banked in or that
that one. That's when I knew it was done. Remember
the money I.

Do remember that? Yeah, I covered that game. I was
that was incredible.

So that's my point right now, they need to build
it because when you look at the teams that win
have won historically, Yes, they have a great quarterback. But
what do you always like to bring up? We bring
it up all the time. The Patriots had great defense
and special teams for years.

That was the thing.

People forget job five, nobody, that's special defense. And when
they always want to disrespect Bill Belichick, and then you know,
I'm not with the cheating, But you cannot tell me
that that defense wasn't a big reason on why they
were able.

To win no Super Bowls.

I just don't like people keep acting like it was
and then they're not being honest with you. If you
even have comeback against Atlanta, you had to shut down
Atlanta in the second half, and that was defense.

defense got better and pat Patrick Mahomes got to the
Super Bowl offensively. Sometimes they got there when it was
defensive line. People last year, people.

Don't remember when the Patriots won their first Super Bowl
in that run against the greatest show on Turf, and
that defense held them the thirteen points or whatever it
was when they beat the Rams. The Rams scored three
points on one field goal in a game where Tom
Brady had an interception and a fumble.

I'm like, like, that's my point. You're supposed to build
I know, we always talk about the stars. You're supposed
to build a complete team around your stuf. I'm gonna
say this as I watch and and we see what
happens in show. Hay strikes first year at bat one

When I tell you, I can't my Johnny Cochran is
you can't do that. Yeah, it's wearing. They just cancel

and more Buffalo, I don't believe they ever win a championship,

last year. I'm dead serious. I am convinced that they

won't win a Super Bowl. I really am, because of
a lot of stuff you talked about A being solely reliable,
relying on him, and then other issues that go with it.

And this should be the moment right to make that
move and be that dominant team. And remember this season
started with a miracle comeback against the Ravens where they
were getting bludgeoned, right, and they win that game, scoring

last two weeks ago, they're okay? Are they world beaters?

I'm serious when I say that. I'm convinced the Buffalo
Bills will not. Just like Jim Kelly and those Bills,
and they went to the Super Bowl four years in
a row. They weren't trying to get to the to
the championship game. They actually went and that team was
good and they couldn't win.

They struggled versus the Dolphins. They ended up pulling it
out in the win. But this is what I'm saying.
It looked great against the Dolphins. I mean the Dolphins
win that game. Yeah, they they They're not as great
as everybody kind of thought they would be.

about that win. To me, what has happened? Remember they
gave up what was it fifty three to the Lions? Right,
Remember they got smoked? Right, They won three games since then,
And the big thing is the pressure is off. And

I'm not saying that Caleb doesn't have to play well Ben,
they can now develop. Caleb has way more leeway when
you're winning games, you do, you know what I'm saying,
Compared to if they had lost these three games, then
the wolves are out for you. When you're winning it's
hard to attack, and he gets to be able to

go out and play and learn and develop.

It's the ideal situation when you could turn things around.
And remember last year their season went the other way

conversation and I think even at one point you thought
maybe he might get benched. That that's off the table

You could say, this is how we do things. You
can't tell me Aaron Glenn isn't trying to instill a
culture that he's coming from from Detroit, right, But that
culture doesn't stick because they're owing six listen to what

buy into anything. You gotta have some results that make

He took a few sacks, but I like the approach
to what I'm seeing him trying of falling into and
falling in love. And also Ben Johnson realizing the skills

that he has and they've been able to get a
few wins.

What I would like to see more of, believe.

It or not, to the the guy he was, his counterpart,
he was the number one pick, the number two pick, Jaden.
I would like to see them scheme up some more
runs for him. I would like to see them like
looking at him last night, negative two rushing yards, thirteen
to game before twelve the game before, twenty seven to
game before. He's too good, he's too gifted, he's too talented,

he's in the ability. To me, that would make it
even easier. I think Ben Johnson got used to having
a Josh Jed Golf type of receiver, one of the
last few just stand in the pocket receivers, I mean
quarterback quarterbacks, and I think he got used to that.
To me, if also, if I'm being Johnson, lean into
that make your team even more difficult to prepare for it.

But that might come, and I agree, and I think
you want baby steps, you know, on I don't want
to do everything like try to get everything involved there,
because you're right, they could use that for Caleb Williams,
who can absolutely become another threat because that's on every down.

No, but he can't have negative in the last three games.
He can't have twenty three rushing yard. Yeah, he can
do that, now, we got it. That's that's a half
in a game. He can definitely do because that only
makes them more more potent, more dangerous and scary. But
that he's spread it around, I like that they're starting
to have confident and you bring up a great point
even winning games that they probably feel like the Commanders

feel like we let that one go, right.

But but but they let one go last year in DC, right,
I mean, and you take advantage of it. Just because
they fumbled doesn't mean that you're going to go down
to score. And and maybe Caleb doesn't it that third
down play, you know what I mean, Like, it ain't automatic.

It ain't like he fumbled and you winning at the
one yard line.

Score you have to you have you for the opportunity,
I have to cash in on the end. That's what
he did and they did that and credit them for that.
So they're inching along, and I think what also has
last point. They're in a division where the attentions on
the line, tensions on the Packers, are the Vikings really real?
And so they kind of get to work on team
and you know, work on their thing while slowly behind

the scenes. It's not like if the Vikings were terrible,
Packers were terrible, maybe the line's gould be like everyone
be looking in on them more.

Were conversations and there were some reports about the end
of last season, how it ended for the Dolphins. What's
been going wrong? You have former players talking about what's
happening in the locker room. You and I talked about
it a bit. One of the concerns that I had
with Mike McDaniels is trying to be the cool coach,
trying to be the players coach too much, especially when
you haven't won anything, I think can be dangerous. We

all want to be that, we all want to be liked,
and they had start to struggle a bit, and they
started we started to hear reports that you had Jalen Ramsey,
you had Tyreek Hill. They weren't showing up, They're missing practices,
They're showing up late to meetings or not coming at all.
And you obviously had all the issues with Tyreek where
he left, you know, talking of I want to lead
the team, I want to get out of here. Then
he has to come back. They have to have a
team meeting for that. Then you had your leader in

your quarterback say some things the other day.

I think It starts with the leadership in helping articulate
that for the guys, and then what we're expecting out
of the guys, Right, we're expecting this, Are we getting that?
Are we not getting that? We have guys showing up
to player only meetings late, guys not showing up to
player only meeting Like, there's a lot that goes into that.
Do we have to make this mandatory? Do we not

have to make this mandatory? So so it's it's a
lot of it's a lot of things of that nature
that we got to get cleaned up. And it starts
with the little things like that.

Yeah, when I heard that, that was the moment I

for many years, eons, it's.

to have a meeting about him. That a whole bunch
of stuff's going on. When your quarterback, who is normally
soft spoken, who is normally trying to say the right thing,
do the right thing, be a podium guy.

This is a major indictment coming from you know, your
the face of the franchise in this case, in your quarterback.
And I think that is an indictment on him, on
my mc daniels. And this is one time I will
say losing is the issue, because had they been winning
right now, they're one and four. If they were, you know,
three and two or something or four and one, we

might not be having this conversation.

But you can't be losing. And then when you.

Start to look at the numbers of where they are,
they're in the bottom third of offensive stats are like
twenty fifth, sixty seventh offensively and you cannot be that
bad when.

You were the the you know, the smart genius kid offensively,
and they had an amazing year in twenty twenty three.
Put up a seventy piece. I thought it was the
Miami heat plan. And now our offensive terrible, offensive is bad.
Were down to the bottom of the pack and all
of these offensive stats and our own leader in a
quarterback franchise, quarterback is calling out leadership. That's that's It

can't get more damning to me, because it would be
different if we said that, but our offense was crazy.
We're number one in this, number two and that number three,
and that that's damning. Rob And I just think that
the writing is on the wall. And that's almost to me.
If it's as an agent, you're starting to feel calls,
you start to look for opportunities.

Let's get a young quarterback, let's go for a couple
of years, and then we'll be ready. No, no, nobody's

doing that because that's not where we are in sports anymore.
People are trying to do whatever they can right now
to give themselves the best chance to win. When you're
having issues with a coach not winning, and now there's
the other stuff that comes out, and you know that,
the dirty laundry always comes out when things are on going.

When you're winning, nobody's saying anything because basically, for the
most part, unless you're Aj Brown, you're not saying anything.
But you get my point. So I'm not shocked by this,
not shocked by the conversation, not shocked that people are
out there and this stuff is happening.

Daniels doesn't fumble the ball with nobody touching him, the

Bears lose last night. The Bears won two weeks ago
off a block field goal against the Raiders, which they
would have lost that game too. And it's just interesting
how they win. Caleb Williams not really playing very well,
they've been very sloppy, but they win and it's like, hey,
everything's cool, we're progressing. Worry about it Miami has had

the lead in like four of these games in the
final minutes. Use it and it's like, hey, fire the coach,
quarterbacks gotta go.

They got a leadership issuit.

Here's why number one. He did what you're not supposed
to do. It's great to do in real life. Yeah,
it's just crazy. How if yeah, one play goes different
in this game. They're three and two right there.

all the time. What is the ultimate? It's about winning
and losing, not how you do that, but winning and
losing and if you win those games, rob g and
if you're right or if those things go your way.
It's just like we talked about it. It is about
winning and losing and that and and winning covers up everything.

he had success early. Right, you can't go backwards. You

they got real leadership problem.

they had won their turnover battle for like fourteenth straight games.

I believe it is now five times.

They had more turnovers than a bakery.

Josh Allen only completed fifteen to twenty six passes. He
was pressured all night. The offensive line was doing well
running the ball, but they stopped running the ball. And
they're outside receivers, which is everybody who's not a slot receiver.
Over the last five games have averaged eighty nine yards combined.

Over their last five games, They've only gone over one
hundred yards during that stretch.

That was against the New York Jetropolitans, and they did
that by getting one hundred and four yards. So there's

They had no respect for any of those receivers. And
here's another one, just to give you some more context
what's going on in Buffalo. The last few weeks, the
Philadelphia Eagles have been a big talking point on national media.

What's wrong with the offense? AJ Brown's upset, say Kwon

thrower the football. Over the last two weeks, the Buffalo
Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles both ozer and two, both

five point seven yards per play. Something's wrong in Buffalo.

Yeah, the problem is and this happens with teams.

This happens when you have a good to great player,
When you have an MVP caliber, in this case the
reigning MVP, you become that person reliant. The Bills are
Josh Allen, reliant and rob You can look at it
like a family member.

Family member that always comes through, the family member that
always gonna be dependable. What happens. Maybe it's you. That's

And the Bills have become that they've got it person,
and in this case is Josh Allen.

He'll scramble around, he'll make MVP, super Bowl, Superman tight plays.
He'll jump over the crowd, He'll scramble and make a
play that should have been there. When schematically you look
at the Bills, they don't look great right now. You
don't know what they do they you know what's crazy.
We talk about this all the time, me and Rob g.
James Cook is a really good running back who if
it doesn't go right after a driver to they run

away from him. If they're not up big and they're

game before. He's too good, he's too gifted, he's too talented,

he's in the ability. To me, that would make it
even easier. I think Ben Johnson got used to having
a Josh Jed Golf type of receiver, one of the

quarterback quarterbacks, and I think he got used to that.
To me, if also, if I'm being Johnson, lean into
that make your team even more difficult to prepare for it.

to do everything like try to get everything involved there,

trying to be the players coach too much, especially when

and they had start to struggle a bit, and they
started we started to hear reports that you had Jalen Ramsey,
you had Tyreek Hill. They weren't showing up, They're missing practices,
They're showing up late to meetings or not coming at all.

he left, you know, talking of I want to lead
the team, I want to get out of here. Then
he has to come back. They have to have a
team meeting for that. Then you had your leader in

that for the guys, and then what we're expecting out

having issues with a coach not winning, and now there's
the other stuff that comes out, and you know that,
the dirty laundry always comes out when things are on going.
