(01:57):
first week in December.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Schools, we're talking about it before two. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
And I was able to find two flights me some
points nineteen ninety nine using points, so using my mom
five dollars and sixty cents. Seriously, those two slices of
pizza could that was a round trip exactly.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
That was a round trip.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
So I'm gonna use points from LA to Detroit and
then Detro I'm gonna stay there for two days, to
Detroit to New York for a few days.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
I paid five sixty for each leg of the flight.
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
Yeah, and you get a sparkling bottle of Champi Mowayn.
Moett Mowayne is more like you.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
The only person who gets like who really feels his
spirit on spirit.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
I had Champagne on spirit more than one time. Everybody
else we praying to the Holy Spirit to keep us safe.
There you go. You only want to feet, kickback, relax
and enjoying yourself. Ay, rob g. The Buffalo Bills played.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Like chicken wings last night. I mean they just what
was that against the Falcons? Back to back losses now
for Buffalo, but last night was just not we saw.
We saw Alan looking like when he first came in
the league, A little sloppy on some stuff right, some
(03:19):
issues there.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
But the Buffalo Bills didn't look that good last night,
not at all. Now this is the fund staff for
you guys. The Buffalo Bills have not been lower than
first place or tied for first place in the AFC
East since the end of the twenty twenty three season. Today, Tuesday,
October fourteenth, they are second to the New England Patriots.
(03:41):
Just to give you context of what's going on with Buffalo.
Last night was tough, only one game better than the Jets.
No I'm kidding. The Buffalo Bills had gone I think
they had won their turnover battle for like fourteenth straight games.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
The last two weeks they have turned the ball over.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
I believe it is now five times.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
They had more turnovers than a bakery.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Josh Allen only completed fifteen to twenty six passes. He
was pressured all night. The offensive line was doing well
running the ball, but they stopped running the ball. And
they're outside receivers, which is everybody who's not a slot receiver.
Over the last five games have averaged eighty nine yards combined.
(04:23):
Over their last five games, They've only gone over one
hundred yards during that stretch.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
One time.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
That was against the New York Jetropolitans, and they did
that by getting one hundred and four yards. So there's
no threats on the outside. Josh Allen is under siege.
They had no respect for any of those receivers. And
here's another one, just to give you some more context
what's going on in Buffalo. The last few weeks, the
Philadelphia Eagles have been a big talking point on national media.
(04:49):
What's wrong with the offense? AJ Brown's upset, say Kwon
can't get on tracked Jalen Hurts is not a good
thrower the football. Over the last two weeks, the Buffalo
Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles both ozer and two, both
averaging is velt seventeen points per game, both averaging exactly
(05:10):
five point seven yards per play. Something's wrong in Buffalo.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah, the problem is and this happens with teams.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
This happens when you have a good to great player,
When you have an MVP caliber, in this case the
reigning MVP, you become that person reliant. The Bills are
Josh Allen, reliant and rob You can look at it
like a family member.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
When you've got that one.
Speaker 5 (05:34):
Family member that always comes through, the family member that
always gonna be dependable. What happens. Maybe it's you. That's
why I said, maybe it's you. It's I know it's
been me at times oftentimes. I'll give credit to my
wife where everybody kind of goes, they got it, Well,
who's gonna play in the blah blah they got it?
Speaker 2 (05:51):
I wish somebody had it for me once, right, just like,
can you be that for me? Yeah? Well, how are
we gonna they got it?
Speaker 1 (05:56):
I'm at the season in my life everybody kind of
does this.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
When the bill comes cal got it, I'm like, dang it,
I got it. Yeah you got you got eight job,
Yeah you got it. And so that's what happens.
Speaker 5 (06:09):
You become reliant on that person to figure it out,
to make it happen.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
They're so good it comes easy for them. It's natural
for them.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
And the Bills have become that they've got it person,
and in this case is Josh Allen.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
He's got it.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
He'll scramble around, he'll make MVP, super Bowl, Superman tight plays.
He'll jump over the crowd, He'll scramble and make a
play that should have been there. When schematically you look
at the Bills, they don't look great right now. You
don't know what they do they you know what's crazy.
We talk about this all the time, me and Rob g.
James Cook is a really good running back who if
it doesn't go right after a driver to they run
(06:41):
away from him. If they're not up big and they're
trying to run the clock out, they run away from
James could. They don't use him enough. They don't have
a skill set. On the outside. They got some decent
tight ends. But the problem is schematically, you don't know
what they do well, and it ends up being Josh
Allen scrambling and the Falcons what they did. And those
boys are fast, they play hard, they play and aggressive.
(07:03):
They blitzed him seventy I think was seventy one percent
of the time, forty something pressure on him and he
was running.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
For his life all night.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Well, and they're not good enough to be always having
to play from behind, because again they don't mix it
up enough. It just becomes Josh Allen last point, real quick.
This was supposed to be the season, rob.
Speaker 6 (07:24):
Right.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
The Chiefs look bad in the Super Bowl. Maybe they're down,
Maybe they're taking a step back. Travis Kelsey's washed, maybe
Andy Reive losing a step, maybe Patrick Mahomes's peak. This
was supposed to be seasoned. Lamar Jackson down, doesn't look right,
their defense is terrible. Joe into the season, right, what
I'm saying, going into the season, you already knew they
were high. Hope you're in the mix.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
They're in the mix, But don't take by the advantage
of this because most people picked Baltimore coming into the.
Speaker 5 (07:52):
I mean I did too, but a lot of people
picked the Bills because they thought they felt the same
way about Lamarlo.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Oh, he's just not gonna able to get it done.
You and I.
Speaker 5 (07:59):
I picked Ravens to get to the super Bowl, but
a lot of people felt like it would be Josh Allen.
It's his season now, and you can't waste away early
Luca type years, early lebron and Cleveland when you have
this guy and you just don't build around it, and
you're just like, oh, they'll figure it out. Lebrono scored
twenty five straight against you know, those Detroit basketball pisses
and get us to the finals.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
Luca will figured out. Drag Us banked in or that
that one. That's when I knew it was done. Remember
the money I.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Do remember that? Yeah, I covered that game. I was
that was incredible.
Speaker 5 (08:31):
So that's my point right now, they need to build
it because when you look at the teams that win
have won historically, Yes, they have a great quarterback. But
what do you always like to bring up? We bring
it up all the time. The Patriots had great defense
and special teams for years.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
That was the thing.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
People forget job five, nobody, that's special defense. And when
they always want to disrespect Bill Belichick, and then you know,
I'm not with the cheating, But you cannot tell me
that that defense wasn't a big reason on why they
were able.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
To win no Super Bowls.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
I just don't like people keep acting like it was
and then they're not being honest with you. If you
even have comeback against Atlanta, you had to shut down
Atlanta in the second half, and that was defense.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Tom Brady didn't shut them down.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Now he got the ball and score and all that,
but somebody had to stop them, and that was.
Speaker 5 (09:19):
That's my point. Rod Peyton Manning could have all those stats.
He finally won a super Bowl when that cult of
defense got better and pat Patrick Mahomes got to the
Super Bowl offensively. Sometimes they got there when it was
defensive line. People last year, people.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Don't remember when the Patriots won their first Super Bowl
in that run against the greatest show on Turf, and
that defense held them the thirteen points or whatever it
was when they beat the Rams. The Rams scored three
points on one field goal in a game where Tom
Brady had an interception and a fumble.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
I'm like, like, that's my point. You're supposed to build
I know, we always talk about the stars. You're supposed
to build a complete team around your stuf. I'm gonna
say this as I watch and and we see what
happens in show. Hay strikes first year at bat one
for twenty one. I mean he's scuffled.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
When I tell you, I can't my Johnny Cochran is
you can't do that. Yeah, it's wearing. They just cancel
Law and Order.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
I just want you to know.
Speaker 7 (10:13):
That that they cancel after season forty nine. Yes, we
cancel Law and Order. I mean that like Law and
Orders turned into a soap proper. Because it's been on
so long, NBC has milked.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
The s out of that shit.
Speaker 1 (10:25):
They start repeating character they bringing people back on he
was on season eight. Nobody remember bringing back right right,
this is season forty. But I'm convinced now the more
and more Buffalo, I don't believe they ever win a championship,
even with Josh Allen, even with that fraudulent MVP won
last year. I'm dead serious. I am convinced that they
(10:48):
won't win a Super Bowl. I really am, because of
a lot of stuff you talked about A being solely reliable,
relying on him, and then other issues that go with it.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Even know things look open here.
Speaker 1 (11:03):
And this should be the moment right to make that
move and be that dominant team. And remember this season
started with a miracle comeback against the Ravens where they
were getting bludgeoned, right, and they win that game, scoring
forty one points. And now you look at them the
last two weeks ago, they're okay? Are they world beaters?
(11:26):
I'm serious when I say that. I'm convinced the Buffalo
Bills will not. Just like Jim Kelly and those Bills,
and they went to the Super Bowl four years in
a row. They weren't trying to get to the to
the championship game. They actually went and that team was
good and they couldn't win.
Speaker 5 (11:45):
They struggled versus the Dolphins. They ended up pulling it
out in the win. But this is what I'm saying.
It looked great against the Dolphins. I mean the Dolphins
win that game. Yeah, they they They're not as great
as everybody kind of thought they would be.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Something is a little off with them. Another walk for
Mookie is that is that all listen two to one
this time, nobody want two to one.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
They're gonna win. He's one of the few m ilb bros.
Lefty she'd be real happy about that. Wait a minute,
Seattle Crawford, Naylor, Naylor, thank you. There's only a few.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
And then what other team I'm thinking about Milwaukee, they
gotta have a brother, Yeah, Perkins, that's outfielder.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
So we got about a little four or five. So
we're good. So you're there either way. No one on
every team, which is very good for us.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Boy in nineteen seventies, eighties, brothers rolling around their grays right.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Now, Hey, we just have four five on the team.
It is what it is. Now we're struggling to get
one or two on the team.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
No, no, no, what good. Yankees had eight or seven, so
we were right and they they balloon the numbers up.
They did some other teams like we don't need one
the Yankees. Yankees got ours, okay, all right? Eight seven,
seven oh ninety nine on Fox.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Bring Baseball Back of the Hood.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Come on now, seven seven, nine nine, six sixty three,
sixty nine. The narrative is starting to flip in Chicago.
We'll get into that next. It is the odd Couple
right here on Fox Sports Radio. And you know what
you need to do.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
Stick and stay America.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Be sure to catch live editions of the Odd Couple
with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at seven pm
Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
iHeartRadio app. Hi, this is Jay.
Speaker 8 (13:23):
I'm the producer of the Paula and Toni Fusco Show.
Usually in these promos they asked you to listen to
the show. I'm here to ask you please don't listen
to the show. The hosts are two absolute morons who
have the dumbest takes on sports, imagicable. Don't listen to
the show so it can get Camps.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
What the heck get him? Paul Ignore that fool.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
Listen to the Tony Fusco Show on the iHeartRadio app
or wherever you get your podcast.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
He's still moving.
Speaker 5 (13:53):
Fox Sports Radio is the ot copa, Rob Parker Kelvin
Washington on a trash Talk Tuesday, which were about twenty
minutes or so away from that, So looking forward to
see what you guys are trashing again. My trash has
been trashing cancer. Take so many wonderful great people, personal
family friends, you know, and obviously celebrities like D'Angelo. Right now,
(14:13):
Aches and pains listen, they can sneak up on us.
During the holiday hustling, bustle or leave can help you
forget the pain and make happy memories instead. With just
one pill of lead provides up to twelve hours of
body pain relief so you can keep it moving.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
Use as directed. Rob and I talking about the bills,
we should say one no, yeah, Niggers.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Yeah, home run? Who hit that home run? I couldn't
see who hit him.
Speaker 1 (14:36):
Somebody hit a big home run for the Brewers right
off of Yoshoba, right off the bat there, so they're
up one nothing on the Dodger still in the bottom
of the first.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
We'll keep you updated to blazon Noel. They're showing him
like yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
I mean I can keep each right now if they
wanted me to keep you updated on that. The bills
looked bad last night, or maybe it's the Falcons look great,
but you and I aren't as convinced. My biggest thing,
I think you feel the same way as they're just
way to Josh Allerlione, he can't do every single thing,
and that's what the whole system is built around. Right now,
that's not gonna win you championships in the NFL eight seven,
(15:09):
seven ninety nine on Fox. So you convinced it was
just a blip. You're still buying in on the Bills.
Who we got eight seven seven ninety nine bad?
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah? Yeah, we got trash tar. I'm so used to that, man.
Yeah no, no, no, that's all good. I was fired up,
you were ready to go.
Speaker 1 (15:24):
It was I'm gonna call it myself, Rob g Let's
go here, because last night we were talking about Monday
Night football, right, and the Bears won a big game
in DC. They got help, but they had to also
make it work for them. And uh, Caleb and Ben
(15:48):
and and and and Ben Johnson their new coach, and
of course Caleb Williams. Here's what, here's the big thing
about that win. To me, what has happened? Remember they
gave up what was it fifty three to the Lions? Right,
Remember they got smoked? Right, They won three games since then,
And the big thing is the pressure is off. And
(16:12):
I'm not saying that Caleb doesn't have to play well Ben,
they can now develop. Caleb has way more leeway when
you're winning games, you do, you know what I'm saying,
Compared to if they had lost these three games, then
the wolves are out for you. When you're winning it's
hard to attack, and he gets to be able to
(16:33):
go out and play and learn and develop.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Like it is.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
It's the ideal situation when you could turn things around.
And remember last year their season went the other way
when they lost that Hail Mary. J Daniels through that
Hail Mary with no time on the clock. Remember that
that changed Chicago seas. I'm not saying that they were
gonna make the playoffs if it wasn't for that game,
but it did start a downward spiral, and I'm just
(16:58):
saying this is the this is the ideal situation.
Speaker 2 (17:01):
And even last night.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
They the last drive when they set up for the
field goal was mostly runs, but there was a third
down that he needed to throw to complete. That's all
you needed from him last night, Caleb, in that situation,
hand the ball off.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
They wanted to a eight clock, right, so you.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Don't want to leave any time really left for Washington,
and you want to set yourself up for the field
goal after the bad turnover, right the fumble, and Caleb.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
Did all those things.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
And now when you start to win and put wins
together three in a row, you're allowed to breathe a
little bit, get to learn more.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
No one's on.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
I haven't heard any anti Caleb stuff for weeks now,
have you, like seriously like that? And there was a
conversation and I think even at one point you thought
maybe he might get benched. That that's off the table
now when you start to win. That's what I was
telling you two about. Except than the culture and a
culture and something, it starts with winning. And I get it.
(18:04):
You could say, this is how we do things. You
can't tell me Aaron Glenn isn't trying to instill a
culture that he's coming from from Detroit, right, But that
culture doesn't stick because they're owing six listen to what
do what? We don't have any results for me to
buy into anything. You gotta have some results that make
(18:26):
it easier for people to buy.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
In the thing.
Speaker 5 (18:29):
What he's starting to buy into is buying the Ben
Johnson's approach.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
One of the things.
Speaker 5 (18:33):
He hit eight receivers last night, so he's spreading the
ball around. He's not focusing on two or three guys.
He's spreading it around, spreading it. You know, the wealth
of the team. They got a bunch of skilled players.
He's hitting different guys and he's getting the ball out quicker.
He took a few sacks, but I like the approach
to what I'm seeing him trying of falling into and
falling in love. And also Ben Johnson realizing the skills
(18:55):
that he has and they've been able to get a
few wins.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
What I would like to see more of, believe.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
It or not, to the the guy he was, his counterpart,
he was the number one pick, the number two pick, Jaden.
I would like to see them scheme up some more
runs for him. I would like to see them like
looking at him last night, negative two rushing yards, thirteen
to game before twelve the game before, twenty seven to
game before. He's too good, he's too gifted, he's too talented,
(19:20):
he's in the ability. To me, that would make it
even easier. I think Ben Johnson got used to having
a Josh Jed Golf type of receiver, one of the
last few just stand in the pocket receivers, I mean
quarterback quarterbacks, and I think he got used to that.
To me, if also, if I'm being Johnson, lean into
that make your team even more difficult to prepare for it.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
But that might come, and I agree, and I think
you want baby steps, you know, on I don't want
to do everything like try to get everything involved there,
because you're right, they could use that for Caleb Williams,
who can absolutely become another threat because that's on every down.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
No, but he can't have negative in the last three games.
He can't have twenty three rushing yard. Yeah, he can
do that, now, we got it. That's that's a half
in a game. He can definitely do because that only
makes them more more potent, more dangerous and scary. But
that he's spread it around, I like that they're starting
to have confident and you bring up a great point
even winning games that they probably feel like the Commanders
(20:23):
feel like we let that one go, right.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
But but but they let one go last year in DC, right,
I mean, and you take advantage of it. Just because
they fumbled doesn't mean that you're going to go down
to score. And and maybe Caleb doesn't it that third
down play, you know what I mean, Like, it ain't automatic.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
It ain't like he fumbled and you winning at the
one yard line.
Speaker 5 (20:42):
Score you have to you have you for the opportunity,
I have to cash in on the end. That's what
he did and they did that and credit them for that.
So they're inching along, and I think what also has
last point. They're in a division where the attentions on
the line, tensions on the Packers, are the Vikings really real?
And so they kind of get to work on team
and you know, work on their thing while slowly behind
(21:04):
the scenes. It's not like if the Vikings were terrible,
Packers were terrible, maybe the line's gould be like everyone
be looking in on them more.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
They kind of get to fall behind the scenes.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
There's work on their game, no noise, and I think
that bowls well for them.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
All right.
Speaker 9 (21:15):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (21:16):
On the way, of course, we got more conversations about
a team were about to say, also lineup for trash
Talk eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox. There's a team that I
feel they might want to reconsider their head coach. It
might be time to move on. We'll tell you what
we're talking about right now. Steve the Seger gonna get
you set on what's trending.
Speaker 10 (21:34):
Hello, gentlemen, It's Game two of the NLCS underway at
top seed Milwaukee, and it's Brewers one nothing over the Dodgers.
In the top of the second inning, Jackson Churio leadoff.
Homer on the first pitch off LA starting Oshinobu Yamamoto

Speaker 2 (21:48):
To right field.
Speaker 10 (21:48):
Freddy Perraulta the ace of the Brewers is going for them.
Dodgers took the opener of the best of seven last night.
LA would host games three, four, and five Thursday afternoon,

the second period. Tampa Bay still up won nothing at
(22:55):
Washington in the second. The Dallas Mavericks reportedly gave coach
Jason Kidd a multi year extension. The NBA's exhibition schedule
ends this Friday night, and you kons preseason number one
in the Women's basketball preseason poll, ahead of number two
South Carolina. UCLA is number three in AP Back to you.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Thanks Steve, appreciate it. As always it is the odd couple.
Speaker 5 (23:18):
Rob Parker kelvin Washington on a trash talking Tuesday again.
If you want to jump in now you can eight

com the way tied buying should be.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
A few weeks ago, Rob, there.
Speaker 5 (23:44):
Were conversations and there were some reports about the end
of last season, how it ended for the Dolphins. What's
been going wrong? You have former players talking about what's
happening in the locker room. You and I talked about
it a bit. One of the concerns that I had
with Mike McDaniels is trying to be the cool coach,
trying to be the players coach too much, especially when
you haven't won anything, I think can be dangerous. We
(24:06):
all want to be that, we all want to be liked,
and they had start to struggle a bit, and they
started we started to hear reports that you had Jalen Ramsey,
you had Tyreek Hill. They weren't showing up, They're missing practices,
They're showing up late to meetings or not coming at all.
And you obviously had all the issues with Tyreek where
he left, you know, talking of I want to lead
the team, I want to get out of here. Then
he has to come back. They have to have a
team meeting for that. Then you had your leader in
(24:31):
your quarterback say some things the other day.
Speaker 11 (24:35):
I think It starts with the leadership in helping articulate
that for the guys, and then what we're expecting out
of the guys, Right, we're expecting this, Are we getting that?
Are we not getting that? We have guys showing up
to player only meetings late, guys not showing up to
player only meeting Like, there's a lot that goes into that.
Do we have to make this mandatory? Do we not
(24:56):
have to make this mandatory? So so it's it's a
lot of it's a lot of things of that nature
that we got to get cleaned up. And it starts
with the little things like that.
Speaker 5 (25:08):
Yeah, when I heard that, that was the moment I
realized he might need to update he's linked in Because
it's one thing, and you know this as a reporter
for many years, eons, it's.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
One thing that don't come over here to aboud. I've
been doing this since nineteen eighty something I say for
a long time.
Speaker 5 (25:28):
And my point is it's one thing to hear a
rumor or report or kind of some unknowing sources or
some players that happens, and it very well could be true,
but you can say that's just outside noise.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
It was last year's players.
Speaker 5 (25:41):
You can understand it, even though we know after the
first game where they had the season.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
Players only meeting right off the bat.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
You can't start the season off already having a player's
only meeting. That shows me there's some dysfunction in the
off season. Tyreek Hill trying to come back, they have
to have a meeting about him. That a whole bunch
of stuff's going on. When your quarterback, who is normally
soft spoken, who is normally trying to say the right thing,
do the right thing, be a podium guy.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Is screaming this.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
This is a major indictment coming from you know, your
the face of the franchise in this case, in your quarterback.
And I think that is an indictment on him, on
my mc daniels. And this is one time I will
say losing is the issue, because had they been winning
right now, they're one and four. If they were, you know,
three and two or something or four and one, we
(26:28):
might not be having this conversation.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
But you can't be losing. And then when you.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
Start to look at the numbers of where they are,
they're in the bottom third of offensive stats are like
twenty fifth, sixty seventh offensively and you cannot be that
bad when.
Speaker 2 (26:43):
The sign of what you are. You were a wonder kid.
Speaker 5 (26:45):
You were the the you know, the smart genius kid offensively,
and they had an amazing year in twenty twenty three.
Put up a seventy piece. I thought it was the
Miami heat plan. And now our offensive terrible, offensive is bad.
Were down to the bottom of the pack and all
of these offensive stats and our own leader in a
quarterback franchise, quarterback is calling out leadership. That's that's It
(27:07):
can't get more damning to me, because it would be
different if we said that, but our offense was crazy.
We're number one in this, number two and that number three,
and that that's damning. Rob And I just think that
the writing is on the wall. And that's almost to me.
If it's as an agent, you're starting to feel calls,
you start to look for opportunities.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Well, when you don't win, if you're not a part
of the solution, you're a part of the problem. And
we talked about it before. I mean, sports is real simple.
I know it's cliche, and I've said it a million times.
Sports has a short menu and this wins and losses.
Speaker 12 (27:41):
And.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
You're going to get fired when you don't win.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
Then one in five correct, five, you're going to get fired.
And it's this bad and it looks this bad and
then they toat you in like Doug told you. No,
you're proud of the problem. Yes, you're prout of the
problem right now one and five. Like, I mean, you know,
(28:07):
I know some people said you are what your record
says you are. But I'm just saying, you know, don't
do that, thanks Doug. I mean, he's setting some things
up around there.
Speaker 5 (28:15):
They're building something. You know, it takes time. It doesn't work.
Like you say, my third fourth year, I should already
have it together. Yes, yes, you should have it together.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
You say that I'm an.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
Offensive gas with offense stinks nobody. We don't live that
world anymore. And that's the big thing there is. There
used to be new coach came in a five year plan.
The quarterback would sit the first couple of years. Those
days are long, nobody. They're not waiting for anybody. Every
(28:43):
year you're retooling your team trying to win. Now, what
we gotta do to try to win? Now? Right you're
not You're in Cleveland. Let's bring the forty year old quarterback.
We need to win games. Now you're the Pittsburgh Steelers. Well,
just we got a great story tradition. We'll just rebuild,
Let's get a young quarterback, let's go for a couple
of years, and then we'll be ready. No, no, nobody's
(29:04):
doing that because that's not where we are in sports anymore.
People are trying to do whatever they can right now
to give themselves the best chance to win. When you're
having issues with a coach not winning, and now there's
the other stuff that comes out, and you know that,
the dirty laundry always comes out when things are on going.
(29:25):
When you're winning, nobody's saying anything because basically, for the
most part, unless you're Aj Brown, you're not saying anything.
But you get my point. So I'm not shocked by this,
not shocked by the conversation, not shocked that people are
out there and this stuff is happening.
Speaker 2 (29:41):
And you're right McDonald, well, he'll be he'll he'll be
whacked sooner than later.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
I don't know when is there by Rob g Uh,
I have to look that up because there might there
might be an opening coming up, you know what I mean,
after the next game or so where they might decide
to make a change or something.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Yeah, it actually U.
Speaker 5 (30:00):
Right, they they must have already had you. I think they
already had it already. That's their bye. That's too late.
Is that the second box Thanksgiving?
Speaker 2 (30:11):
That they they ain't had it? They got a I
mean they're about to suffer and they got lost.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
They got they got like the last by right, I
mean November twenty third.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
My goodness, man, that this is about to be a
brutal hell. You know what's crazy is we just did
back to back. Satan's talking about the Bears and the Dolphins, right,
and the narratives around each team is so different. If
Miami can hold Justin Herbert from getting a forty yard
completion on third down, they win last week. If Jayden
Daniels doesn't fumble the ball with nobody touching him, the
(30:39):
Bears lose last night. The Bears won two weeks ago
off a block field goal against the Raiders, which they
would have lost that game too. And it's just interesting
how they win. Caleb Williams not really playing very well,
they've been very sloppy, but they win and it's like, hey,
everything's cool, we're progressing. Worry about it Miami has had
(31:02):
the lead in like four of these games in the
final minutes. Use it and it's like, hey, fire the coach,
quarterbacks gotta go.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
They got a leadership issuit.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
Here's why number one. He did what you're not supposed
to do. It's great to do in real life. Yeah,
it's just crazy. How if yeah, one play goes different
in this game. They're three and two right there.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
But what you just said is what we talk about
all the time. What is the ultimate? It's about winning
and losing, not how you do that, but winning and
losing and if you win those games, rob g and
if you're right or if those things go your way.
It's just like we talked about it. It is about
winning and losing and that and and winning covers up everything.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
It's the ultimate makeup in sports.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
It covers up the flaws or the blemishes and you
and you turn your head and go, oh, we want
what do you want to do?
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Cry over? We won. The Dodgers didn't go like, oh no,
we don't want to win.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
That game because the pitcher threw it over the catcher's
head on an easy play to first base.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
They won the game. And you know what they did
they moved on. They don't care they moved on. They won.
Speaker 5 (32:11):
And I think the problem too Rob g his first
I think two out of the first two to two
out of three seasons they went to the postseason, so
he had success early. Right, you can't go backwards. You
can inch your way up like and I hate to
use max example, Tim and Dan Campell.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
Looks bad but it getting better? Looks bad? Can it
getting better?
Speaker 5 (32:28):
Not had a good You can't go playoffs, playoffs seventy
piece looking good to a lead in the league in passing,
just got a new contract like and then fall off
and fall off bad. And it can't be both on
the field and off the field issues. That's the part, right.
So if you're if you're a struggling even the Bills,
for example, they've had enough success that they struggled for
(32:48):
a while. Then you can say, all right, they're having
a rough little goal, but they've had they've been building
up and had success. You can't start here and just
all of a sudden go back and then lastly, have
your leader, your franchise quarterback come up. Tua never says anything.
When Tua says that.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
That's saying a lot.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
And it didn't help that the coach came out and said, well,
he's probably talking about one person, and the next day
he comes out and says, yeah, that was a misguided comment.
So when the quarterbacks saying there's a leadership issue, the
coach is saying, Walda, they're falling in the things I'm saying,
I don't know what the problem is. That tells you
they got real leadership problem.
Speaker 5 (33:22):
That's the point right there, all right, all the way,
it is trash Talking Tuesday. You've been waiting four at

All right, here we go to it. Kevin in Culver City.
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio. Who are
you trashing? Kevin? Let's see who it is today.
Speaker 9 (34:31):
I'm trashing Martin Weiss. I never heard a conversation he
was having with my very own monastery Belamos about USC
and how soft we were against Illinoid. We only lost
by the last second by a field goal. We left
no doubt, leave no doubt. We have Malachi living my
boyfriend Los Alama High School, looking like Ritchie Bush, Keing
(34:54):
Miller from Calabasta's looking like Lyndale White, Stata Mawall looking
like Matt Lioner, spreading that ball around, and we were bawling,
and like I said, it's like two thousand and four
all over again, when we beat Michigan in the rosebo
for our first championship lead. No doubt we are sc
and Michigan got that fought kids in the colleague. There
(35:16):
you go nowhere, that's what we do.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
All appreciate it night, how about all?
Speaker 1 (35:22):
I nah, they beat they beat the mad beat a mad.
Speaker 5 (35:26):
I thought it was a bastar cleaning the house. Let
me go ahead, let me go in the garage.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
You want me to vack Orlando or help Passo. You're
on the couple of Fox sportsuating. Who you trashing? Orlando?
Speaker 13 (35:40):
Cowboy defense? They know had a hell of a sandwich
day with my wife.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
You know, puts some Swiss cheese.
Speaker 6 (35:47):
I don't know what happened.
Speaker 13 (35:47):
More holes chesun Cowboy defense, My goodness.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
No doubt, no doubt. Yeah, he had at him Dak
Prescott his fall, he called. He on the phone with
Joe Burrow right now. I mean, how'd you deal with
it last year? He's like, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (36:02):
Max from Georgia, you're on the odd couple of Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
Who are your trashure? Max?
Speaker 12 (36:08):
I'm trashing Shador Sanders and Travis Hunter. You know they
learned some bad habits from old Prime. Too much meat
and not enough weed. Chador ain't him, He's not. He's
damn sure not legendary Travis. His head's been underwater since
week one, not just Sunday pregame during his back.
Speaker 9 (36:27):
They both were overhyped.
Speaker 12 (36:29):
The NFL bought.
Speaker 9 (36:30):
One, they pushed back another.
Speaker 12 (36:33):
Both Chador and Travis mine as well play for.
Speaker 9 (36:35):
The Saints because that way they'll be able to play.
Speaker 5 (36:38):
The Panthers twice a year, and they'll be able to
match their playmaker abilities.
Speaker 6 (36:43):
Because who that why?
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Now that's right? There can't even respond.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
How about Scotti and Peoria must be Illinois. You're on
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
Who are you trashing.
Speaker 6 (36:56):
Scottie do ataligable? Fella? He hasn't been the face of
the franchise since the third concussion. Hey, and I don't
know what the hype is about the kid anymore. He's
left handed and he throws with left handed anger. He's inaccurate,
(37:17):
he gets hit harder than a rag doll, and he's
got no weapons anymore except for Jaylen Wattle and Devon
a j.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
All right, right, thank you.
Speaker 1 (37:27):
How about Mace in San Diego? You're in the couple
of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (37:31):
Oh, you're trashing Mace.
Speaker 13 (37:34):
Mike McDaniel. This twofish isn't everly gonna get fired After
losing to Los Angeles Chokers. Despite your twenty nine wins
and twenty eight losses in the regular season, you're owing
two in the playoffs and have a record of three
wins and sixteen losses against teams with the winning record.
You try too hard to be hip and cool and
friendly with all the players by telling them how great
they are instead of being hard. Players don't respect you,
(37:54):
and that's why they constantly show up late to practice
because players don't fear you. Do you really think these
multimillionaire players are going to respect them. Man that wears
high water sweatpants which are the equivalent of women's capris,
Come on, Mike, put your head out of your gluteus maximus.
These players have already tuned you out.
Speaker 12 (38:07):
But don't worry.
Speaker 13 (38:08):
Once the Dolphins fire you, they still hope you can
accomplish great achievements. So you have a degree from Dale,
you can put up to use the play for Johns
Hobgins University and get a medical degree for that way,
you can just world a favorite the chemal renounced surgeon
but due humanity a favor, But you mean an idiot,
Tyree Kilibert checking me?
Speaker 1 (38:23):
My goodness, gracious, Hey, they were all one today. Thank
you Mace eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox. What's
amazing is that Mace normally is talking about players of
the paties, you know, exact nighties. Yeah, and to pick
Mike McDaniel, you know, like a current coach in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (38:41):
Almost fell out of my chair. Yeah, that's how bad
it is. Mike.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
Mace was not even trying right now. That's why we
maybe squeeze in one more if we can. How we
got fired up today? I about Mitch in New Jersey.
You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Who are you trashing?
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Mitch? Hey?
Speaker 14 (38:58):
How are you doing? Guys? I'm trashing to college football poll,
how's your teachers at twenty the five and one? And
being a pretty good team that being who's on the
schedule and one. One thing is he is only a
quarterback and I can see why. But you guys have
to give Mikayle Lemon a shot. He's having one of
the best college he is any college player this year.
(39:22):
But we thinking they.
Speaker 2 (39:23):
Stignac appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (39:25):
Yeah, well we you know, we don't overly give our
thoughts right now when we think, but no, he's right,
he has having a good way, and it's a larger
conversation to be had, by the way, when we've done
it before and we'll do it again this year. Why
does Heisman? Why is the MVP? Why is it always
a quarterback? Because the quarterback is such an al why
(39:46):
like what else? So it wasn't in the seventies, eighties,
ninety two thousand, Now all of a sudden, the quarterback
or nothing.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
No, go go look at uh at some of the
quarterbacks and their stats, and they weren't great because they
didn't go the ball that much.
Speaker 2 (39:59):
You know, just don't you throw the ball. Don't mean
you're good, that just means you throw the ball. Quarterback.
Speaker 5 (40:04):
Carry down again, there's a running back, is defensive player
or ride receiver somebody that's Travis Hunter, shouts Travis Hunter,
who will not according to one of the congers who
was trashing.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
Him, No, no, no, it's it's it's a quarterback position.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Then we'll just give it crowning the crowner
