Yeah, tough scene if you are a Washington Commander's fan
or bit you look at it. Jayden Daniels has officially
been shut down for the rest of the season. He's
been injured several times. He's only played seven games this season.
Most recently, he came back from dislocating at elbow, reaggravating
the injury on interception trying to make a tackle, try
to be a hero, And when the reporters asked him

about getting shut down, he didn't seem too happy about it.

Take a listen, super tough man, and I don't want
to miss games that are been frustrated whose season missing games?

I want to be out there on my teammates as
much so.

This has been a frustrating year at this point year.

But you learned from before. I don't understand it. I
gotta admit, and I know you're on that well you

If you're twenty four, you're young. If you're healthy, you
should be playing. How do you get better by playing?
By getting reps in game action? You can't put bubble
wrap around him and say we're gonna hold out and
hold on. Michael Parson's played. Guess what he got heard?

Patrick Mahomes has been playing for eight plus years. You
know what happened. He got heard. It happens. Tom Brady
got heard. Aaron Rodgers broke two collar balls.

There's no way you can prevent it. At the look
of Philip Rivers, he's been heard. I mean, I'm just
saying the way he moves around. You get my point.
So if somebody is healthy, not rushing somebody's back who's
not healthy, I'm against that. I was against Kevin Durant
trying to play in the NBA Finals when everybody knew

Like that, I'm gonna get a d after Charles Barkley
called him street close. Remember the next game he came
out and played for five minutes and he could barely

from me as far as trying to suit up. You hurt,
actually hurt your team because you can't play. But if

Jade Daniels is healthy, he should be out there playing.
And I applawed him for saying he's disappointed. He's a
young guy, he wants to play and he should play
if he's healthy.

I applaud him for saying how he feels. Come have
a seat with me, player, Come sit on down. First
of all, he was already nursing leg injuries throughout the
early portion of the season. Right finally gets back out there,
falls down and we all think his arm is like shattered.

It was one of the worst injuries I've ever seen
that ended up noting.

It wasn't that spear right I'm saying, but the look
of it, But it ended up not being bad. He
avoided tearing any ligaments. Then the next week or so
he aggravates it and it is none throwing arm. He's
been banged up too much this season, and I understand.
I applaud him wanting to play. I applaud him not
trying to take it an easy way out. I totally

get that respect that, and I believe his teammates do too,
and I think they like that. He wants to have
that warrior mentality, that wanted football player mentality. The difference
for me, Rob is I look at him as this
is our guy for the next twelve fifteen years hopefully,
but at.

Least, you know, decade. This guy came in.

There was twelve and five last season, get all the
way to the NFC Championship Game. He throws the most
four thousand yards, twenty five touchdowns and almost rushes four
thousand yards. Very very talented, very special. This season, he's
banged up. Other guys banged up. They got holdouts earlier
this season. They couldn't find their way, and now when
he plays the two and five, when he doesn't play

the two and five, and now they find himselves in
this position of four and ten. I get it. You
want to show him a gladiator. I'm paid to play football.
I want to play the game. But I have to
operate as a business, right. This is a business. This
is a long term thing. And anybody knows anything about investments.
We ain't day trade. But but but no, no, I
just I just want you want to I want one thing.
I want to introduce one point. Him not playing this year,

does that mean he won't get hurt next year? That's
that yes or no? Okay, but that has nothing to
do with it, because that's contemples to apple. If he
got hurt, I wrote what you said he could get
hurt game one or two. Well, we were oh and
oh when we started. He still mean we're competing for something.
When he gets hurt, you're not out beating for any point.

and when he's and we're rolling, we might have something.
So Jade and Daniels is too young, too valuable to us.

Doesn't make that hurt doesn't make any sense because he
could still get hurt.

getting reps in game action. And it does not change

You getting hurt when we're competing for something is worth
the risk. But he's still getting It doesn't matter.

The point is we're competing for something. So if you
get hurt, you're right, I can. That's just part of life.
But the idea of you getting hurt, you get it there.

nonsense that people have made up. Guys are players. It's
the same people you were the same guy, and I'm
gonna say, you were doing the show then, who didn't
want Zion to play? Okay, so they didn't want Zion
to play. He's an eighteen year old college kid, nineteen
years old because the sneaker blew out, don't play you

because he still had a chance to win the national championship.

was trying to play through injuries and banged up. It's

He's playing. But my point is, you mut why he
didn't playing, well, that's what I'm referring to. Why it's
why he may not have been at his best. What

three interceptions. When he's out there, they were on his head.

it's just been an off week. He's out three four weeks,
then he's back. And my whole point is have a seat, bro,
you're twenty four. We want you to play till thirty four.
We want to get other good.

he's beat up and he's bruised up this year, it
makes no sense for me to roll him out there.
He's already frail, he needs to put some more meat
on his bones. And why he's already nicked up and
banged up. I get it.

of it. If invested, you see Steve Balmer aside from

with the fans, answer stuff, doing things to me. I

Jerry Jones. What makes him Jerry Jones is that he
takes radio show call, He takes calls, he has radio shows,

you hire a coach or team president.

we get better. I just think that it's better to

the coach because you're having a simultaneous press conference.

that we're seeing having a lot of success. If you
look at the Pistons, you look at the Spurs, if
you look at the UH, the Thunder, there are some
teams that are doing it with a bunch of dudes,
like a platoon of dudes who don't mind playing five
minutes and twenty minutes. I don't matter if I don't score,
them score, and they're just coming in like hockey lines

of guys like the thunder Dude, the pe do as
opposed to having the just two guys that we've seen
over the last you know, those days are over, yeah.

the Big twos, Big three, And I think if we
learn anything from the NBA Finals last year, it's depth
is couint king, versatility is quan.

What made Oklahoma City so good, what made the Indiana

teams in the NBA are in the West, right, because
I don't know when you look at the top three
or four teams in the Western Conference in the seven

game series, who I would pick the New York Knicks
to be. I wouldn't pick them to be Oklahoma City.
I wouldn't pick them to be Houston. I wouldn't pick
them to be Denver. So I mean, the thing is,
I want to see them succeed because I love Mike Brown.
I love my Brown. He was my coach here in
San Antonio. I love coach Brown. I hate the position

that he was put in because now it's basically, if
they don't get to the NBA Finals, it's considered an
unsuccessful season, and that's not fair to him.

And then when they did those because they didn't have
this set up, they didn't have Mike Brown waiting, you

coach in waiting because they had just signed him to
an extension in the off season. And when they took
the players on the exit interviews, I think that's when
they realized, we need to make a challenge.

in the place now where we're giving guys whatever they want.
And this is why coaching is so difficult in the
NBA today because the moment I do something that you
don't like, I don't challenge the car that you think

what I me all these different things that championship coaches
are supposed to do. I can tell you the one
thing Tim's didn't do. Like we can question every coach,
but in this game that you're referencing, Tim didn't take
a shot, he didn't turn the ball over, you know,

they play certain teams, they're exposed. And if the goal
is to reach the NBA Finals or to win the
NBA finals right now, they're not constructed to do that.
They're constructed to beat probably twenty four twenty five teams
in the NBA, but there are other teams they aren't
constructed to beat. The other teams that they aren't constructed

to beat are the teams that they need to beat.
The reach where they're trying to read. So, yeah, like
you look at them, you look at twenty four other teams.
They'll run through them, and that's what will give you
a good record. You'll be fifty eight and twenty four,
you know what I mean? Whatever, it may be fifty
five and twenty seven. That'll be great. But when it
comes to winning time, the teams that are not constructed

to beat are the teams that you're facing the postseason.
And there's one thing that we know about the NBA.
Your success or lack of success is not judge about
the regular season. It's just in the postseason.

of all, he was already nursing leg injuries throughout the

San Antonio. I love coach Brown. I hate the position

they realized, we need to make a challenge.

they play certain teams, they're exposed. And if the goal
is to reach the NBA Finals or to win the
NBA finals right now, they're not constructed to do that.
They're constructed to beat probably twenty four twenty five teams
in the NBA, but there are other teams they aren't
constructed to beat. The other teams that they aren't constructed

to beat are the teams that they need to beat.
The reach where they're trying to read. So, yeah, like
you look at them, you look at twenty four other teams.
They'll run through them, and that's what will give you
a good record. You'll be fifty eight and twenty four,
you know what I mean? Whatever, it may be fifty
five and twenty seven. That'll be great. But when it
comes to winning time, the teams that are not constructed

to beat are the teams that you're facing the postseason.
And there's one thing that we know about the NBA.
Your success or lack of success is not judge about
the regular season. It's just in the postseason.
