Speaker 6 (01:48):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So no man, it's the the
pressing if a press release came out. But now I'm
gonna be hosting the la Emmys in July.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
So that's a pretty cool honor.

Speaker 6 (01:59):
You know, how to is representing your station, represent yourself
and so, uh be fun man. Our show is nominated
Spectrum News one. The Morning Show is nominated for the
best Shows in l A. So the news came out
with that. All the nominations come out, and then they
also announced it's going to host the show and it
was your boy, so be a good time.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
So will you not win the morning thing because you're hosting?
What do you think I'd be weird, right, you know,
but usually you know what I'm saying. I want to
do though, but they pick you because it's like, well,
we don't want to pick the morning guy from NBC
or CBS because they're gonna win them.

Speaker 7 (02:30):
No.

Speaker 6 (02:30):
No, first of all, you're supposed to be supporting your team,
sposed to be like you got it on, locked up,
and I to like, that's right baby, because they picked you.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
No, this is how it's gonna go.

Speaker 6 (02:41):
It's gonna be like when you watch the host to
give yourself, you go like this and you say, hey,
here's to present the best show in the morning is
blah blah blah.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
And they come up there and you're in the back
and then they.

Speaker 6 (02:51):
Say morning show, spect your news what and then you
run out like, oh my gosh, this is so unexpected.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
I don't even know.

Speaker 6 (02:57):
I was just back there, Tuck, you know, you do
it like that. But I know a good man, fixed, fixed,
fixed that. The only time that will happen is but
I know that they put you in the building. I
can't see the lights to bright robe. Yeah, I would
be yelling fixed.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
So no, it's gonna be a good time, man. So
that was That was really cool that they we.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Should be nominated the challenge right on KMBO.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
I would definitely make sure y'all don't win.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
You would make sure, no matter what it said you would,
you would.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
They said they want a good TV.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
Oh wow, that they want high high caliber television quality TV.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Let me look down the nominations. Let me see y'all
on that right now. We're not want no, but it'll
be a good time, man. So yeah, we didn't pay.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
The fifty nine dollars entry fee, so we're not in there.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
The per person too. By the way, is that what
it is?

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yeah, okay, I'm just saying I know how.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
That only gets you half to dinner.

Speaker 6 (03:46):
You don't get no, you don't get the salad, you
don't get deserve, you don't get a champagne and nothing.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
So it'd be a good time though. Let's go here.
I want I want to address this.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I know Bo, who's the biggest Dodger fan.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Him and Ryan those are the biggest Dodgers in the
place of Fox Sports Radio. But anyway, uh, the Dodgers
started the season eight, no you remember, they're like they're
gonna run.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Oh my god. They got everything.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Since then, you know, with their records since the eight
no start, twenty eight and twenty four, pretty mediocre media
to row middle of the road. And here's my here's
my big issue with the Dodgers and why sometimes you
have to make adjustments. Shohey wasn't the lead off hitter
when he was in Anaheim.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
They came here.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
He only moved there because remember Mookie got heard and
they just decided to move.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
And I get it.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I understand why you would put a hitter of his
caliber to get him an extra at bat. Everybody's getting four,
he might get five in a game, So I understand that.
What I don't understand is wasting.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
His home runs.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Twenty three home runs and thirty nine RBIs is not
a good look. Does not That means you're leaving people,
you know what I mean? In other situations on base,
don't you want to move him down in the lineup
so that he can knock in some runs. Knocking other
people solo home runs does not work for me. That's

(05:14):
I haven't said today on MLB Network with Brian Kenny,
I said, sometime I look at show his stats and
I think he has more home runs than RBI.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
You know, Yeah, that's not. I mean it's not optimal.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I mean, your courses doesn't make sense, but you get
My point is that it's twenty I've never seen this.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Twenty three home runs and thirty nine.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
RBIs is a small number for that many home runs.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
I think what you're seeing right now is a team
that has been to the World Series what four times
in the last six seven years. I think you're looking
at the current reigning World Series champs, and I think
you're looking at a manager who has had obviously a
bunch of success, and I think they're saying, we're not
gonna pay right now. I think they're fully aware. If
there's a sport that is fully aware of numbers and

(06:04):
analytics and what guys are doing, it's baseball. So I
think they know what's happening right now. But I also
think they're not overly worried. I mean, we've talked about this,
I think was last week. Right now, got a slight
edge on the Padres in the division. You're starting to
get some guys healthy, you got Mookie back, as Steve
told us earlier, and I think.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
For twenty eight and twenty four, that's a long stres.
That's a long stretch over fifty two games at playing
five hundred.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
But it's June. What is today Jun third?

Speaker 6 (06:31):
June second year, it's June third, And I think you
just don't want to panic yet. And a guy, and
you know this baseball is maybe more than any other
sport based on continuity, what makes me feel good where
I'm comfortable. You got pitchers who have the Clayton Kershaw
exact same routine. I go to the park at this part,
I warm up at this point where this at this time,
I eat this exact thing. And you got guys who

(06:53):
know exactly what they like to do it in their
comfort zone. And I think Otani is clearly he's having
a betting better hitting year than last year where he was.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
His numbers, his numbers are way down.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
So I'm not gonna win an MVP with seventy five
rb so and maybe I would bet I would vote
right now for Freddy Freeman, who's been in three sixty eight.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
That's possible, and that is he got at four to
ten in May. That's so, that's so that hit.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
And then they got Aaron Judges up the bat as
we speak right now, another guy who's batting on four hundred.
But I just think it's not if it ain't broke,
don't fix it. As far as what he's doing I'm
talking about, he's doing.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Right, But the numbers is what I'm just saying. The
r he had one hundred and thirty RBI's last he
has thirty nine. Like the math doesn't add it. And
the only thing three home runs and thirty nine are
the only thing I'll say, Rob, is this. There's so
much more Bay.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
You have to all the rest of June, all of July,
all of August, was basically all of September, and so
it's four months. So I'm just saying it's too early
for me to make a change for a guy who's
doing very well, who's comfortable in the spot we moved
into that spot. He's we didn't even we kept him there.
Wasn't like all right, we put him there for Mookie.
Mookie's back, now go you.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
Know, I mean, he did well last year, so I
get it. But at the bottom of the order.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
That's where I'm putting the pressure. Do I start to
put different people there? But what are you gonna do?
We're gonna give it to three people, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Like like, to me, there are people getting on base,
I want to get more people on base in front
of him so that he can knock them in.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
That's all I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (08:18):
I'm gonna bank on the laws and the averages favoring
that that that bottom part of the lineup, because eventually
guys are gonna hit two fifty two seid you can
start getting on base and get you know, they don't
have to be clearly the bottom of the line of
for a reason.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
But I don't.

Speaker 6 (08:32):
I don't need you to be otherworldly. I just need
to do what your typical average is. And I think
the law of averages will say we'll start to get there.
We'll have a guy on, we might have two guys on,
and I'll show Hayes up and he gets that extrap
bat hopefully throughout certain games. So I wouldn't overreact. I
get your principle. I totally get that we're wasting twenty
three home runs from a guy who's probably gonna get

(08:55):
fifty five of that whatever it may be.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
And you you want them to be all solo home runs.

Speaker 6 (09:02):
But if he keeps getting on base, by the way,
and then Mookie starts hitting like because Mookie's down about
twenty five to thirty percent points there.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
I talked to Mookie, uh was that Sunday and he's
trying to figure it out, like he's saying, like, I
don't you know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (09:17):
And I'm sure he's not gonna make an excuse of now, No,
he's not making a dude lost twenty pounds and the
other thing he's goods And see here's another one.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
And you know you just said it. You normally don't
want to mess with your best players.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Okay, you don't want to move show hey, but in
reality they should also move Mooki off shortstop because I
think that's effect and his hitting. I don't think he's
played nearly as well at shortstop as he played second base,
and he plays right field, you know what I mean.
So sometimes, yeah, that can take away where your shortstop

(09:51):
is a demanding You know, you can't babble balls. They
gotta be cleaned for double plays. You're keeping any alive
if you bobble you know what, it's a lot.

Speaker 1 (10:01):
It really is a lot.

Speaker 2 (10:02):
And Mookie's a great player who's headed for the Hall
of Fame. But if I'm the Dodgers, I really got
to rethink it. Maybe Mookie's not the shortstop, and maybe
oh Tony should be batting second or third somewhere else,
but definitely not first. I wouldn't make those two moves
because they haven't they haven't caught fire.

Speaker 1 (10:24):
I mean the team twenty eight and twenty four.

Speaker 6 (10:28):
Some of that A large part of that though, Rob
you as you know, has been not having your your
best pictures yet, and guys are slowly starting to come back,
and so I think you start to see where that
twenty eight and twenty four turns to, you know, we
end up a forty and twelve run, you know.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
So I think that's what they're banking on. Knowing it's
a long season. Will be fine.

Speaker 6 (10:48):
Things willis, Guys will start to hit, averages will average out,
and they know what they're doing. As far as having
some pieces in the background. One thing, you know, the
Dodgers are good at. They got somebody coming up from
the farm system or guy that's waiting. The thing that
has been consistent with the Dodgers for ten to fifteen years,
especially last decade though, depth they always have death.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Where oh where did this kid come from? Where's this
guy coming from?

Speaker 6 (11:11):
Where's it and being able to have guys who are
able to maneuver, and as you mentioned, if they feel
all of a sudden, Mookie, he seems like the type
of guy would say, you know what, we gave the shot.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
It's just not working, or it's not that it's not working.
I would be.

Speaker 6 (11:22):
Better suited a second. Put me back in the outfield.
They've got some guys, they can move around. They've prided themselves.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
You gotta agree the shortstop play is just okay, it's not.

Speaker 6 (11:32):
Oh he's that, that's not his He's his best worth
without a doubt. And I think but having the biggest
thing is having that in your back pocket. Having in
your back pocket one of the best hitters in baseball
could likely be an MVP. If he starts picking up
on the RBIs is show, Hey, we have that in
our back pocket.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
We can move him.

Speaker 6 (11:51):
MOOKI versatile second short outfit. We have that knowing Mookie's
probably gonna pick up another twenty percentage points on his
bat and average here at some point, if Freddy's playing,
maybe you know, starts picking up and doing his thing.
More so, that's the thing I have in my back pocket.
I'm not gonna overreact quite yet. There's no need re
leading division where the rainy champs guys are getting healthier.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
We'll be fine, That's what I would lean on.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
All right, coming up, we are going to talk about
the Rockets.

Speaker 6 (12:23):
Yeah, some reports vin Kevin Durant, Right, yeah, some reports
out there of uh, maybe the cost of getting them
ain't quite the same.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
We'll tell you what's on sale?

Speaker 1 (12:34):
Is that what you're saying?

Speaker 4 (12:35):
You did?

Speaker 2 (12:35):
You you went to Ross I might going by. Did
you see him in the back? I know it was
on the rack back there in the big and tall section.

Speaker 6 (12:43):
You better hurry up here. Why they got a bunch
of Kevin Durantz. They got to Kevin Durance for sale.
You better come get him.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Plus they got a sneakers there too. Yes, I'm just saying,
all right, don't forget trash talking Tuesdays coming up. Also,
ice cubes coming up. A lot of stuff happening, uh
in the next forty five minutes or so.

Speaker 6 (13:01):
It's right, it's the odd couple. Rob Kelvin on the
Trash Talk and Tuesday Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio

Speaker 6 (13:18):
Fox Sports Radio The Odd Couple, Rob Parker kelvin Washington
on a trash Talk and Tuesday that's coming up in
about twenty twenty five minutes or so. We got ice
Cube coming about in about ten minutes, looking forward to that.
He's got the founder of course Big Three, the Big
Three getting ready to start up, and so they got
some big moves they're doing there. I can't wait to
talk to him. If you're ready for a new job,
let Express Employment Professionals help. While Express helps people in

(13:40):
all industries fine work. Our sweet spot is logistic roles
and Express never charges job seekers of fees, So go
to Expresspros dot com. We talked about it before the break,
Rob G and Rob that some you know Phoenix is
obviously they were looking to move Kevin Durant during the season.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
We fully aware they were unable to do that and.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Sover now we know there's some reports that they've already
had multiple conversations with the Rockets, right Rob Ge.

Speaker 8 (14:05):
That's big facts because you know, the Arizona Republic reported
back in March, and this was good reporting at the
time that the asking price for Katie this summer was
going to be three first round picks. It was going
to be a young player. It was gonna be guys
they can build around moving forward. You know, they gave
up all their picks and assets for Kevin durat to
begin with. Apparently that you know, asking price, nothing's being sold.

(14:30):
It's like going down to buy that car. It's one
hundred grand, he's not selling. Suddenly you go back at
seventy five. That's what's happening to KD. Because according now to.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Uh, Michael Jordan's manch remember how.

Speaker 4 (14:41):
Much it was Mike Tyson's man a bunch of Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Well, because people buy places that are way too ridiculous
and big to maintain, and they're not you know what
I mean.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
And then to get somebody to buy those.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Did nobody want to spend twenty two million dollars that line.
Rob Parker calls Kevin Durant to again ridiculous to maintain.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Exactly that's what happened.

Speaker 8 (15:05):
According to the Athletic, the asking prize has lowered significantly
for Kevin Durant, so much so that, according to at
least one report, if the Houston Rockets were to get
reinvolved with the Kevin Durant sweepstakes. It wouldn't cost them
anything more than one massive contract in match salary, and
either or not both their picks back that they owned

(15:28):
from Phoenix from a previous trade or a couple of
their young guys a lah Jabar Smith Junior, so Cam
wit More, so on and so forth.

Speaker 6 (15:37):
If I'm Houston, and even if I'm Kevin Durant, you know,
if I have some saying this, if I have some
sway in this, to me, it makes sense. One of
the things the Rockets have. They have a bunch of youth,
they have a bunch of athleticism. They'd have a bunch
of picks as well, and you just mentioned some of
those picks are the Sun's picks. So to me, the
longer Kd's out there, right, it just it starts to
not make sense. You clearly see this did not work

(16:01):
at all in Phoenix. And not only did it not work,
you just felt like the vibe wasn't there, meaning it
wasn't okay. They made the postseason, made to a first round,
second round, and it just didn't work. No, it didn't
work at all. So Kevin Durant at this day and
age in his career still a bucket. Think he had
like twenty four to twenty five points a game last year.
Ye at the start of the season he was in
the MVP Conference playing well. So if I'm Houston Rob,

(16:24):
I'm keeping I'm on Thompson that he ain't going nowhere.
And I'm also gonna try to keep a Fred Van
Vliet and just for a veteran leadership because I know
he's not in a Dylan Brooks type of guy, because
he's gonna need some stoppers.

Speaker 4 (16:38):
And then Jabari Smith.

Speaker 6 (16:39):
They got some pieces around there, so I'm only gonna
have to give up somebody like a Jalen Green, which
talent wise is a potential All Star. We know that
he just has to find his footing, find his way.
Maybe they would want a Jabari Smith, a big who
can stretch the floor, can rebound. Maybe they would want him.
I'd be willing to part with him as well. Maybe
the one that Easton an athletic win can defend, can
get a bucket.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
Maybe they want him.

Speaker 6 (17:01):
I could get rid of him as well if they
want to take one or two of those and a
couple of their picks back.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
But if I get to keep a four cores of
a chagoon of vliet A KD.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
And I'm and Thompson, I'm thrilled. I am thrilled. I
know for a fact, Emo Doko, I got the coach.
I love my coach. I got some young athletic guys.
They were one of the youngest teams in the league.
And then I got a guy who can get a bucket.
And that's what we saw in the series with the Warriors.
At times, they just didn't have a guy that you

(17:31):
can say, get us one. They didn't have a guy
you can say, close this quarter for us, close this half,
force close this game for us, and Kevin Durrect can
do that. And also, Kevin Durant doesn't have to be
the leader Rob That's just not him. He's just not
a leader of men. He's not a leader of a
ball club. He's not that leader.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
By example, everybody's not the same. Barry Sanders wasn't the
leader either, but he's a great player.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
I'm not questioning that. I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Everybody's not that guy, and I agree with that.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
He doesn't have to be.

Speaker 6 (18:00):
He's what I'm saying because if I got fred Van Vliet,
who's more of that kind of a guy. I have
the coach who is the leader, and I have it
if I keep it getting like a Dylan Brooks, another
guy who come in get the defense, right, a leader
I don't have. Kevin Durant doesn't have to come in
with a bunch of young pucks who don't have a leader,
and now we're all looking at him like save us.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
He doesn't have to do that with this team. So
to me, it's a good fit.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
And if you're the Sons, you get some athleticism, you
get some more depth, you get some youth by having
these draft picks back, and you know, and then you
can get back to saying, all right, Devin Brooks, it's
your team, so like you know, it's your team.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
Here you go. My bad for bringing you through the
last year. So last couple of years.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Yeah, anytime if thin can. Uh, But if you're Houston,
you probably need to.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
You probably need to add some veterans, you know, a
veteran to that team if you want to take the
next step.

Speaker 4 (18:54):
They wait.

Speaker 2 (18:56):
But I don't know how where you're going in the West,
you know what I mean, Like it'll be a nice
seae he's in. You'll get a run in the postseason probably,
but then are you really making that next step? And
I can see that, but you don't want to give
away the house, which I understand as well. And if
you could get him on a cheap with a coupon
and an extra biscuit, then I wouldn't make the move
if it's not gonna cost you an arm and a leg.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
And that fit to me. It just makes sense.

Speaker 6 (19:19):
It fits both For Kevin Durant, I can come in here,
just get a bucket, help him out. Obviously, he's proven
he knows kind of what it is to be a
professional work ethic and all of that help these guys
I'll continue to grow. But again, just having that skill
set that he brings, it fits perfect there because that
was the issue. Jalen Green is super talented, young athletic,
can score, but he doesn't know how to score.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
He doesn't know what to do yet.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
And if I'm the Suns, I can get a Jalen
Green guy, young athletic and know that I got him
for a while.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
I'll be looking forward to that, all right.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Don't forget trash talking Tuesdays coming up after ice Cube.
So you want to chime in right now eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine
six sixty three sixty nine. Your chance to trash anyone
anything the world of sports, and we will not nt
interrupt you.

Speaker 4 (20:04):

Speaker 6 (20:18):
Talk to it right now, Cube is all with the IDB,
Rob Parker, Kevin Washington on the Trash Talking Tuesday.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (20:25):
Qu's happening?

Speaker 7 (20:26):
Yeah, yeah it what's happening with you?

Speaker 4 (20:28):
Not much?

Speaker 3 (20:28):
Man?

Speaker 1 (20:28):
It was great.

Speaker 4 (20:29):
Yeah, good to talk to you.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
We know we got the Big Three season eight eight
season and already, man, that's gonna be tipping off June fourteenth,
and uh, how does that feel already?

Speaker 4 (20:39):
Eight seasons? We know, it's unbelievable.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
To be honest, Hey, man, it feels great.

Speaker 7 (20:45):
You know, I think you know, we can't get enough basketball,
to be honest. And we started the league twenty seventeen.
You know, it was a lot of murmurs about how
the NBA was starting to play their game. You know,
wasn't you know, the defense was starting to lack, and

(21:08):
you know, we came at the right time with the
sporting basketball played the right way, you know, the way
that people want to see it played. They want to
see a little more defense, physical Uh. I think people
like the trash talking and letting guys beat themselves. You know,
nobody want to see robots play basketball. So I just

(21:32):
think we hit. We hit at the right time, and
the sports public was craving for, you know, something great
at this time of year when the Finals is over
and right before the NFL starts, and.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Are you guys back on CBS, correct, because you've been
there for a while.

Speaker 7 (21:52):
Now back on CBS our games that non CBS games
are going to be on Vice. So it's great to have,
you know, two broadcasters invested in the Big three UH,
and we're planted in cities this year, so we believe
we're gonna unlock a lot of UH fans. You know,

(22:16):
when they started rooting for their cities, so.

Speaker 6 (22:18):
Where the cities they got A Detroit went Now rob
Detroit had to pull up Detroit amplifiers, right.

Speaker 7 (22:25):
Detroit amplifiers Joe Johnson and Jeremy Parko and d Block.
You know, they got a great squad were in LA
the La Riot. We got the Dallas Power, Chicago Triplets,
Houston rig Hands, Boston Ballhawks, and the Miami three or five.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
That's just perfect. I mean they're sitting there, Miami three
on five. You get that do that one right there.

Speaker 6 (22:55):
You guys got a bunch of some big names coming
to Yeah, who's the biggest name. Mike Howard spinaking of
the Big He's literally big. Go into the Hall of
Fame now, yeah, and the Big Three.

Speaker 7 (23:05):
It's great, you know, to have him no playing in
our league all summer, you know, on the year he's
going into the Hall of Fame. Don't put a lot
of attension on our league. I think people still love Dwighton,
want to see him play and seem play the style.
You know, he's gonna be asked to do more than
he was asked to do in the NBA. Uh. You

(23:28):
gotta pull out all this. He gotta pull out his
whole bag to be successful in the Big Three. So
it's gonna be fun to see.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Let me ask you this, do you have to in
what I know? People watch the games. They're on broadcast, TVCBS,
advice and that. But is it an experience like what
you have to go to like Philly fully like part
of it, do you know what I mean? Sometimes you
know you need to go to the game and then
you kind of get hooked on it, where sometimes television

(23:59):
doesn't get you the total field.

Speaker 1 (24:01):
Where are you on on that?

Speaker 7 (24:04):
Well, of course live is it's a great experience. You know,
it's different than the NBA game. Uh, for one, you
can see the whole league, but you can see four
games for the price of one. You get to see everybody.
It's not like you're just stuck with two teams. Uh,
seeing seven footers play three on three. It's pretty incredible

(24:26):
live and you know, we keep the party jumping. You know,
we always got performers, we got you know, we're keeping
people in the building for over three hours, so we
want to keep the entertainment coming. So it's just full
of you know, basketball funds, dunkers, dancers, DJs, everything in between.

(24:51):
And what's cool If you run up and get an
autograph from Doctor J. Nobody gonna tackle you, nobody's gonna
run you out. You're not gonna get bands. You know,
it's a it's a family friendly atmosphere. You'll see a
lot of you know, a lot of families that are
games because it's a nice affordable ticket. You know, sometimes NBA,

(25:18):
you know they price priced people out a little bit
with with you know, the cost of the tickets. But
with us, you're saying, the kids, the neighbors, kids, grandkids,
You're seeing everybody from down the street. It's just a fun,
fun atmosphere.

Speaker 6 (25:36):
Yeah, it's about I was just telling you Cube, I
took my daughter's there and they had a great time.
Like you mentioned, the atmosphere is fun. You got a
bunch of performances. Just the energy is really high there.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (25:46):
And you know what we talked about at the top here,
Ice Cube on with the Akaba Robin Kelvin talking about
the Big Three this season. You all are gonna have
a documentary about this, and I'm really interested because one
of the things I've always respected about you is the
business acumen. Right you go from rap to to obviously films,
and then you got the Big Three and you've got
a bunch of other things that you continue to do

(26:07):
as a business man. So to me, it's gonna be
fascinating to see just how this all came about the documentary,
tell us a little bit more about that.

Speaker 7 (26:15):
It's been a crazy journey. You know, I equated to
you know, building an ocean liner with one hand and
fighting off a nine one hundred pound gorilla called the
NBA which the other hand. So it's been you know,
a lot of ups and downs, a lot of drama.

(26:36):
You know, we've had people try to take the league
from up under us. This has been a lot of
crazy stuff. So it's cool that, you know, we've been
able to capture this with my man Tucker Touley and
his company and be able to bring not only the
history of the Big Three and how do we get

(26:58):
to season eight, but all so follow season eight and
follow the drama of the season in real time. So
you know it's gonna have that that Godfather field Godfather too,
where goes back in time but then it brings you
back to the president. It's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
Yeah, go ahead, I'm saying, and uh, you guys hired
a big time sideline reporter for this coming year, Chris Aynes.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
That'll be a nice touch for the Big Three one.

Speaker 7 (27:28):
Yeah. You know, it's all about credibility, and you know
we've been able to be fortunate to have some big
names come through this league, you know, like Allan Iverson,
Chauncey Billupson and players like that. But we've also you know,
our Hall of Fame coaches are the staple, you know,

(27:50):
doctor j Iceman, Michael Cooper, you know, Nancy Lieberman.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Nancy I played a one on one you know that
back in Detroit when she was a Shock coach.

Speaker 7 (28:03):
Yep, Oh that's pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (28:05):
Yeah, yeah, Cube, I got to keep hearing about this story.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
Lamould talk about it, right, I mean, come.

Speaker 7 (28:13):
On, yeah, yeah, you know, I definitely got to talk
about that on your resume. But it's it's you know,
having somebody like Chris Haynes, it goes it goes back
to the credibility of the league that we do have
the best on three players in the world. If you
saw what happened in the Olympics last year, you'll know

(28:35):
that our our players should have been there. And you know,
we we got the best people in the business to
to kind of evangelize that, you know. So it's gonna
be cool to have Chris on the side of Lins,
letting people know what the big Dude is all about.

Speaker 6 (28:53):
Looking forward to a que Man congratulations and you and
the whole team Big Three. You got season eight tipping
off June fourteen, gonna be in shy Town at the
All State Arena there. If you're in that area, make
sure you go check it out and all of Big
three dot com tickets we'll be there. You can get
your tickets there. It's gonna be a good one man.

Speaker 9 (30:46):
Listen. I'm tired, and I'm talking about Dion and you
know about his son, man, I mean, Dion's always been loud.
You knew Tuesdain when you're talking when you got when
you're messing with Dion and his son is totally opposite.
His son has no gift of gap like his father does.
So I mean, just lay off beyond man, that's all

(31:07):
I got.

Speaker 4 (31:09):
Go ahead, Sydney Rock, keep killing.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
I'm good, all right, appreciate it, my man.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
Thanks, appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
Rodney MJ in New Orleans, Jordi, I couple Fox Borts Radio.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
Who you try to MJ.

Speaker 10 (31:25):
Spread from Lebron Ramon James. NBA insider Adrian want to
now to drop a bomb about the King team. The
USA could no longer let us boss him, belittling, go
and check and didn't want Lebron James on the two
thousand Olympics in Beijing. Behind the scenes official had taken

(31:47):
calling James minister for the Napolis. No one ever told
him to grow up. Old jadded, team USA has to
get Jason Kidd.

Speaker 7 (31:56):
The babysit Lebron.

Speaker 10 (31:58):
We try to teach him something to Kevins never had
a better realido is learned professionalism. The committee linked up
with Nike, and through Nike, James ultimately heeded the message.
It became more collible to the coaches, teammates and stab Man.
Along with Kobe Mellow b Way, the team brought goal
back to us and I'm sure the blind witnesses can't

(32:20):
believe their eyes reading that their chain had to be babysit.
Thank you, guys have a great show man.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Pease appreciate it. Thank you. I'm Jackson.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
They gave us a whole thesis, didn't it.

Speaker 6 (32:31):
And in nineteen seventy six, that's what when you look
at Lebron and the analytics of the analytical ways breaking
it down eight seventy seven to ninety nine on Fox,
you can still got a couple of minutes to get in.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Who we got Orlando? NL Passo, You're on the couple
of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Who are you trashing Orlando?

Speaker 11 (32:48):
I'm tashing stephen A. Smith and all the Knicks fans,
they were already celebrating. Hey, it must be nice when
you hang a banner for just making it to the
conference finals. So I guess that's what they live up for.
So the Steelers.

Speaker 7 (33:01):
I quick joke, real quick.

Speaker 11 (33:04):
My wife, you know she's pregnant. You know she's doing everything,
thank you. And she tells me one day, honey, the
dishwasher and I say, Aaron Rodgers and she laughed and smiled.
She knew those dishes were done and washed.

Speaker 6 (33:19):
Oh wow, yo, Alex before that one. I'm gonna need
that next season. I'm gonna need that. I mean, I'm
gonna need to be able to use that one web.

Speaker 1 (33:28):
Who you trashing?

Speaker 4 (33:29):
Who you trashing?

Speaker 8 (33:30):
I'm trashing the guy. Y'all never heard of Elijah, our
social media guru. That is because according to Rob Parker,
he had no influence whatsoever on getting this graphic made.

Speaker 4 (33:43):
That said all caps. Rob Parker called it.

Speaker 8 (33:46):
Rob swears he's innocent in that, which means which means
Elijah went over all of our heads and said, you
know what, I know, Dove's been right about some stuff.
I know, Alex has been writing about some stuff. Rob
G's been write about some stuff. Not one of us
has ever gotten a graphic that says. Dub called it,
Alex called it, Rob G called it. So he's showing

(34:09):
favoritism on the ODD company. So I'm calling out Elijah
flacting independently.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
Of the of the shop.

Speaker 6 (34:15):
Gee boy, remember I told you I had a trash
talking Tuesday. I was gonna say that was my trash
talking Tuesday right there for the man I never heard
of the man.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
Don't nobody know him, Elijah. That's what we're doing right now.

Speaker 6 (34:26):
I want a retroactive Josh Allen was the MVP Picture
and Photo and video right now. And I wanted to
go on YouTube asapsual.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
I know Rob flabbergasted because Rob had nothing to do
with that made whatsoever?

Speaker 6 (34:40):
That don't even sound like Elijah would say. Rob called
it that stas you written.

Speaker 4 (34:44):
All over it's Rob called it talking about the phone
real quick. I got an idea for social it's gonna
do big numbers. Put on my voice and a caption
that says Rob called it. Now, now we know where's you.
His mentee Steven A. Smith got it from we can
put this. All the rest is Elijah on the MLB payroll. Yes,

(35:08):
this is the first step to Rob saying, put the
camera on came.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
I was camera on me.

Speaker 4 (35:15):
I was right. I was right. It's Elijah said, but wait,
Kelvin has been right to It doesn't matter. I was right.
Focus on me. Elijah can stay home now.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
It's called proof of performances.

Speaker 3 (35:27):
No no, no no.

Speaker 6 (35:29):
Proof of performance also means when you were wrong, does
it not? When you get a test back, it shows
you both correct. Yes, I'm wrong.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
So we we did one of you being wrong on this.

Speaker 4 (35:39):
That's on you.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
That was gonna run later on tonight. All right, see
what I mean Elijah. I've been fighting for you, to
Elijah when Alex said he never heard of Elijah, Elijah
is my guy. See I Elijah got in the Elijah
Greek's pockets better too. That's the crazy part too. I

(36:04):
got an extra dollar whenever he's paying you, come.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
On now to give money.

Speaker 6 (36:08):
Give coupons he gives. She's like, babe, we got to
go to rounds for chicken again. He's like, that's what
the man gave me.

Speaker 2 (36:14):
I asked you one question. Tell me what the Christmas
gift you got from k Dubb this past year.

Speaker 12 (36:21):
I'll wait, Well, he might stump me on that. Well,
I never heard of him anyway, so I can't get him.
I just want to make sure who who? Here's the
real question, Rober. He don't want to hear that question,
all right?

Speaker 4 (36:34):
When when was I It's like, okay, when did he
text the work that he's done? When did he text him?
Was it this morning?

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Was it later? Like?

Speaker 4 (36:46):
Was it immediately?

Speaker 9 (36:47):
Like?

Speaker 4 (36:48):
When did Elijah get the text? As soon as he
saw the breaking news from Shams? Rob had that Rob.

Speaker 6 (36:53):
Already had the idea put this up, say this, do this,
and then put this as a background.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
I promise your number.

Speaker 6 (37:00):
But it's coming from you, not from by the way,
anybody asked if anybody has it's coming from you or
the odd couple.

Speaker 4 (37:08):
I didn't know you did it.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
You guys, You guys are terrible, unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
