TJ.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Houschman Zada, of course, the former Pro Bowl wide receiver
co host of up on Game right here on Fox
Sports Radio. I want to ask TJ. Houschman Zada too
when he was going to school, could the kids say
his last name or what did they used to call him?
I whoosh right, and that was probably it or H or.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
Something or TJ J.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
I'm just curious, or even teachers, what did they call
it first before they got it?
Speaker 5 (01:54):
You know, that's like that H kemp pills get a ron.
You'll be looking at that like T T z air
house Man.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Also, I do want to say also for over forty years,
tire rack has been helping customers find the right tires
for how.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
What and where they drive.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Ship fast and free back by free Road has a
protection with convenient installation options like tire Mobile, like mobile
tire installations, tire rack dot com.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
The way tire buying should be. Uh. The takeaway for
the weekend is what from you, mister kelvin Washington?
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Well, one of them.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
There's the statement that I've been telling y'all for three
or four weeks now, but I said, I'm gonna put
that to the side little bit. It'll come up in
this conversation just a bit, and that is that the
Chiefs are going to represent they have seen sat in
the super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
It's just is even Vegas has got it now. They
beat this week.
Speaker 5 (02:47):
They beat up Juggernaut, Okay, yeah, they beat him down
to white Ahead, Rob g. They beat the shoot Bowl champion,
head coach, champion had put some give me some respect
on his name. Super Bowl could have been two twenty
eight times super Bowl champion on who choked?
Speaker 4 (03:04):
Who choked?
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Yeah, he still has to wake up sick about that
every day. If we just hand the ball would be
some changes his history. That changes everything. You hand that
off Now, Russell Wilson's a two times super Bowl champions,
It changes Tom Brady, everything changes you hand that off.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
That changed.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Maybe that's the maybe Brady leaves in because of this,
because of that. You just, man, you just never know.
But so the Chiefs is my number one takeaway. But
as far as here, they are. But the only team
that I figured, I said, man, somebody has to compete
in the AFC. As we're watching the ALC has to
see who goes to the worst series. Somebody's got to
compete with the Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl,
(03:42):
and I thought it was gonna be the Broncos, maybe
the Chargers in their own division, right, I thought it
would be Baltimore. That's why I had going to the
Super Bowl. I thought it would be some other teams,
and all of them had proven to be fraudulent in
my opinion for the most part, or at least really
flawed where I can see holes in their game. And
to my surprise and your surprise and most of the
(04:04):
NFL world surprise, the dad on Indianapolis Coats are the
only team I actually can see, not the Bills, competing
against the Chiefs and having something to say, getting to
the AFC Championship and then eventually the Super Bowl. And
I never thought I would say that right now, not never,
as if Peyton Manning didn't exist, but right now, especially
a team quarterback by Daniel Jones.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Alex, can you mark this, please keep this? Okay?
Speaker 5 (04:29):
I stand on the fact that I myself have been wait,
let me see what they do, okay, let me see
who they be, let me see how and then and
then I'm looking at a few things, Rob who they beat.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
I want to ask you about the Colts. Can you
go over there.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I'm looking at it right now.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
So they beat the Chargers, which a lot of people
had them going to square the Chargers.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Now, no, don't do that now.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
I'm because every week you keep doing that, Baltimore, you
have to do you do.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
Ultimately it will be what your final right, right is.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
A good team.
Speaker 5 (04:58):
And I'm gonna tell you, and I'm gonna tell you what.
So they beat the Cardinals.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
They've beat the.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
Raiders, they beat the well that's coming up, that's coming up,
and hold on, I'm going backwards.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Is going backwards on me?
Speaker 5 (05:12):
Raiders, Cardinals, they lost to the Rams, they beat the Broncos,
beat the Chargers, beat the Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
And that's it. I think I name everybody.
Speaker 5 (05:24):
So the reason why though, couple of things. Number one,
you know me, what's their identity?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
What do you do?
Speaker 5 (05:31):
And Stichen has them playing great offensively. They're leading the
NFL in points per game, they're leading the NFL point differential,
they're leading the NFL rushing the ball, and Daniel Jones
is playing the best football he's ever played of his life.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
And we talk about this all the time.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
When you can have a guy Sam Donald Baker Mayfield
was playing the Monday night right now, when you can
go somewhere and you're able to have some great coaching
that fits you, an offense that's surrounding you that pulls
out what you do best, guys are starting to have
success in Daniel Jones is having that. They're averaging thirty
three points per game, thirty three points a game.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
They're beating any and everybody.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
And when they're not just playing down the competition, the
Bills do that, the Chargers do that. I play a
good team, Armlayt play a bad team will go down
and they have and they're going in and they're winning
and taking care of business. And again their ability to
run the ball. Jonathan Taylor might be the best player
in the NFL. That not just us, but nobody ever talked.
I thought that was last year. But we talked about
(06:29):
Sakuan for the years. I'm saying, he said the best
player in the league. I don't think that that should
change like year the year. You mean, he's playing very well.
I'm saying that we don't talk about it all. I'm
saying because you know, we talked about the Patrick Mahomes
and the Lamars and the I just don't think Henery
change year the year right, No, no, no, I'm saying that
we come on the airways and right and everybody always
talks about Okay, that's a home run.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
I don't think he keeping up with Gibbs. Yeah, he
ain't keeping up with Gibbs.
Speaker 4 (06:52):
We're doing play by player as the show goes on, just.
Speaker 2 (06:54):
You know, letting people know there's a touchdown. Can I
tell him as a touchdown?
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Or was that Avery Judge lining up there?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
A hold on Robers, let me Aaron Judge.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
I'm just saying we're not supposed to do play by play.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Go ahead. Oh god, sorry, I was watching Aaron Judge.
I bet I didn't see you all, but you know, hear.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Me do play by play?
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Just hear you? You just turn over and I'll be like,
you know.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
What I mean, right, because we're doing a rep show,
rob You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (07:16):
Bad part about having TV on rub especially when you're
a Homer and you're watching one team.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
I'm sitting here telling you about the Colts who are going.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
Championship, about the Colts went out the window.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
AFC champions for a touchdown and Dick Psyching has the
getting the best version of Daniel Jones. They have a
running game with Jonathan Taylor, the best person in the NFL,
and nobody ever talks about it. He's been great his
whole career, but as long as he's healthy, nobody talks
about him. And I've just been very impressed with him.
I like, you've probably been skeptically like, Okay, well that's
a weak one. Okay, let's be all right. They ain't
be there. Oh that was the Titans, And dude, they
(07:48):
have just proven to be a really good team. And
it's weird to say it because nobody really had those
expectations coming into this season. But I don't buy into
the Broncos. I don't buy into the Chargers. I don't
buy into the Bills. The Bills are gonna be good
cause Josh Allenson, but I don't buy into them being
a complete team, is what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
And who else I'm at.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
Texans aren't what they're supposed to be, like all the
I'm not really big on the AFC right now. The NFC,
to me, is a better conference and the teams that
I'm looking at. I already told you about the Chiefs.
I said it weeks ago. Offense is about to become explosive.
You see what they're doing. I already knew that was coming,
but this coach team has caught me by surprise. And
I've been impressed with what I've seen and that only team.
I look at it and say, their way they play
(08:27):
is a complete package that might give a challenge to
the Chiefs if they were to meet up.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Yeah, I'm not there, and I've seen a lot of
Daniel Jones. I want to see them as as it
really gets the second half of the season. They're playing
some other teams, other teams.
Speaker 4 (08:44):
I just need to take more of a look.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
It was like that.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
I'm just not Daniel Jones for as well as he's played,
and he's dominated some bad teams, which is fine and
that's what you're supposed to do, but I'm not ready
to punch his card.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
He's got way.
Speaker 1 (08:57):
He hadn't played one year and somebody was missing about
Daniel Jones. Okay, they gave him a lot of money,
they moved on from him and released him because of
what they saw from him. So I don't think he's
reinvented himself. And now he's this great quarterback and things
are working out right. Now I don't buy. I don't
buy the Colts. I don't think they're going to be
(09:17):
in the AFC Championship game. I would be stunned if
they're in the AFC Championship game.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
You hear me, absolutely stunned.
Speaker 5 (09:26):
Another team that you might this might be a team
you like. I forgot to mention him. Maybe the Fredian
slip the Steelers.
Speaker 4 (09:33):
Yeah, I mean they have a shot. Do they have
a shot?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (09:35):
They have a shot.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
So who do you like in the AFC is? I
mean I would still take because like five or six
teams over them. I mean before I get to the Colts,
they would be like my sixth team. And even though
some teams aren't playing well, I still would take the
Chargers over them. I still would take the Steelers over No,
I would over the Coat Jones. Jim Harbor rolling around
(09:58):
his office right now looking at you. Just he said
what hold on? Because he you know, he listened to
the IKA, but about just say what did Rod just say?
I'm just saying over Daniel Jones, if I have to
pick one of the two, he playing over He's playing
way better than Justin Herbert.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
That's good.
Speaker 2 (10:11):
Justin hurb I don't know what's going on. I don't pick.
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Well, they got a lot of injuries on the offensive line.
They got some things going on, which is fine. It's
a part of football. I can't take it away from them,
just like if there's injuries, you know with the Colts
and they lose some offensive linemen and stuff.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
It's just a part of the game.
Speaker 5 (10:27):
Man, seventy almost eighteen hundred yards, ten touchdowns, three ex
steps play. The boy's playing well. He's playing very very
well right now. They're running the ball like crazy. Jonathan
Taylor three Touchdownick.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
I'm gonna stick on last year when I told you
about Sam Darnold, how I didn't buy into him even
though they won fourteen games, and I told you the
whole year and then the two biggest games of the
year he was nowhere to be.
Speaker 5 (10:52):
Just playing the Lions too. That's probably playing the Lions
both times, right, we didn't. He played the Lions and
he played the playoff game. Yeah it was oh yeah,
where was it Arizona?
Speaker 4 (11:02):
No, it was the Lot Yeah it was in Arizona.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Yeah, Mike Avias the two games. Yeah, I just I'm
actually impressed. Again, I'm not saying that World beatings about
to win the Super Bowl.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
But I've just I keep going nah man nah, all right,
that's a good game.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
All right, that's just week three.
Speaker 5 (11:16):
All right, it's just week four, and I'm like, dude, Offensively,
they're not playing around thirty three points a game. They
haven't scored under twenty nine a season. Crazy, right now,
what they're able to do?
Speaker 2 (11:27):
All right?
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven, seven,
nine nine.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
Six sixty three sixty nine.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
Are Daniel Jones and the Indianapolis Colts legitimate Super Bowl
contenders in the AFC? Have you bought in seven games
into the year they're going to the Super Bowl? They're
gonna be in defeat the other teams in the AFC
or not? Kelvin thinks, so I do not believe that's
(11:57):
the case. We'll continue this conversation next with you. Seven
ninety nine on Fox. It is the Odd Couple, Rob Parker,
Kelvin Washington right here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (12:07):
And you know what you need to do, stick and
stay if.
Speaker 6 (12:12):
You're believer in Danny Dimes in the US of A.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
That's right.

Fox Sports Radio. All right, Rob, a couple rock Parker
kivin Washington. We got a lot going on on a Monday.
We got TJ TJ Houseman Desada, as they said it
back into his elementary days.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
We'll ask them what they said to him.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
I can't wait to find out what did they call
him back in the day.
Speaker 5 (13:18):
Yeah, we're gonna ask him that. So got Monday night
football lines. Look like it just got to turn over.
It looks like it has to or yeah, we'll see
if it's confirmed. Looks like it was a punch out
Shepherd the receiver. We'll see what that if it's confirmed
here at the moment, they're up fourteen nothing. You got
the game seven alcs happening right now. Mariners up one
to nothing as ooh as well. I can't see the
(13:40):
any with any are again. It's the first still the first, Okay,
So a lot going on on this Monday.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
Josh Naylor.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
MLB bro right, double bye, Rodriguez to start, yep, and
Josh Naylor with an RBI single.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
Great show, a little more enthousiasm. I'm to get started.
Speaker 7 (13:58):
Your website is flourishing right now. Yeah, that's money in
your pocket when that happened.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
It's great to just start. That's all I'm saying. The
games just starts the first inning, and for them, for
the road team, that's great to get to.
Speaker 2 (14:10):
Well.
Speaker 5 (14:10):
Shoot, the road teams won five in a row. They like,
this is what we do. The roll team like, ain't
nothing to about to do it. We all in y'all house.
We about to be partying in your clubs tonight. We're
taking your girls tonight, drinking your liquor tonight.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
That's what the Mariner is saying. I just need the
Maritor win so I can be right.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
I don't know what what is the argument.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Like, well, what is he got bust in the back
of the head.
Speaker 4 (14:29):
Right, He didn't do anything.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
He didn't jump in in a way or anything, you
know what I mean, Like he was running. He kind
of turned his head because they were going to make
a throw face they want to get hit in the face.
I don't think that he tried to get hit by
the ball. Look if you look at the throw right,
look he turns his head because he.
Speaker 5 (14:46):
I mean, he did jump, but he jumped because he's
protect himself seriously, And he got hit in the back.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Of the head.
Speaker 4 (14:53):
Yeah, I mean he would have got hit in the face.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
He would have got hit in the face.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
Around all right?
Speaker 1 (14:57):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine On Fox, Kelvin is high
on the Colts. He thinks they're headed to the AFC
Championship game?
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Is them in the chiefs?
Speaker 5 (15:06):
Ye?
Speaker 4 (15:07):
No way? Know, how do I see that?
Speaker 1 (15:09):
It's way too early to determine that they haven't played anybody.
Danny Dines will turn.
Speaker 5 (15:14):
Into Danny Daniel Jones right now playing well.
Speaker 4 (15:20):
So they called him out, They called a double play.
Speaker 5 (15:22):
I just wow, manute what I'm really asking you, Steve,
So what was he supposed to do? Just take this
sounds sounds something crazy, But take that in the face,
I guess so.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
I don't think that he deliberately tried to get in
the way to throw. I think that's what they're saying
he did. I don't think well, because I'm not it
looked like you got hit in the face with Yeah, y'all.
Speaker 5 (15:43):
Had to call me out because I'm not taking Andre
in Massachusetts.
Speaker 4 (15:47):
You're on the eye couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Drake,
what's going on?
Speaker 8 (15:52):
Thanks taking a call.
Speaker 9 (15:52):
Listen.
Speaker 8 (15:53):
No, I can't buy a stock in the Colts, even
though they're off to a fast start. Respected Danny Dines
and how they bounce back after the situation with Anthony Richardson.
They got one more pseudo preseason game against the Titans, okay,
who are headed for the lottery. Then they got the Steelers,
the Falcons and the Chiefs three games in a row.
We'll see how they show in those games. If they
show well and if they can stand tall in those games,
(16:14):
then we'll start talking about them in terms of being
a serious team. But no, you put this team, these
new kids on the block, into the playoffs against a
grizzled team like the Kansas City Chiefs who are headed
for the wild Card. Give me Chiefs all day.
Speaker 5 (16:26):
Well, no, that was the point. That was what I
said the Chiefs. I said they could play the Chiefs.
I'll take the Chiefs. I got the Chiefs, man. I
don't think anybody can beat them right now in AFC.
Speaker 8 (16:35):
Appreciate you, heel when I see that happening in the
wildcard rather than the AFC championship team. I have them
a good regular season team, get getting out fast, but
they just don't have the experience. And we're seeing this
so many times. It's a good story when the rubber
meets the road. I'm gonna give me the experience over
these new kids on the block.
Speaker 5 (16:51):
And I don't trust any of these other AFC teams.
You brought up the Chiefs. That's the one team I trust.
I don't trust any of these other the nf AFC teams,
but you trust but you trust the Colts. No, I'm
saying that you don't trust anybody else, but you trust
the I'm saying they look like a legitimate real team.
These other teams. I just brought up the Broncos. The
(17:11):
Broncos scored sixteen points in three three games if you
don't take that fourth quarter from last night, like the
Broncos was going they can't score and they have Sean Payton.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
But they haven't.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
But the Colts haven't beaten anybody any game We'll see and.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
I don't think, by the way, the Falcons are a
world beater. He was, like, they played the Falcons.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Sean in Sacramento. You're in the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up, Sean?
Speaker 9 (17:32):
Yeah, my ungle from another mother, cause it kill me.
My brother's behind the board, happy old Tony Tober for y'all. Man,
the greatest single game performance of all time?
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Would you stop with Sean? Please stop, Sean? Please? You
know I threw up in my mouth.
Speaker 9 (17:49):
You battling everybody on Twitter.
Speaker 5 (17:51):
Like, hey, Sean, remember that scene from Boys in the
Hood where Trey was a swing and he was so mad,
frustrated the police that was Robin's apartment by him so sweet, just.
Speaker 9 (18:01):
Punching on all the air molecules. Man, bad about it,
all the air molecules.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Bro.
Speaker 9 (18:06):
But as far as this goes, man, I gotta agree
with unk Man. Come on, man, Danny Dimes, it's great.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
I ain't calling him any Dimes. I ain't going that far.
Speaker 9 (18:16):
I mean, he's looked great on script when the running
game's going great, defense is playing amazing. But what happens
when you got to play in the snow? What happens
when you down five with two minutes left and Danny
Don is the guy you throwing the ball over to you?
I hear you, Kelvin, but you know it takes a
little bit more experience and a little bit more experience
than the postseason A real really say the legit and
I heard you bashing the Broncos, man, but look what
(18:38):
they did in the fourth quarter when it matters the most. Man,
They've shown that they could cut their teeth and make
it happen.
Speaker 5 (18:44):
Yeah, putting up so many zeros Broncos zero point, zero poins,
zero points last game for that zero point put up
throw a thirteen or whatever against the Jets.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
Appreciate it the heck.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Well, John and Indiana, you're in the odd couple of
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
What's up? John?
Speaker 10 (18:59):
Hey, you guys doing great.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
I love your show.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Thank you.
Speaker 10 (19:05):
I'm a truck driver. I listen to you every day.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 10 (19:10):
And I just want to say, Rob, I don't have
any expirations for the Colts. They're just really playing good
right now. I'm not saying they're going to go to
the super Bowl or nothing, but you know, maybe you
should think about firing yourself for some of the takes
you've had.
Speaker 5 (19:30):
You think so wow, even in a truck way, I.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Do that, I do that, I do that, Thank John,
and I do that.
Speaker 10 (19:44):
I'm just kidding.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Oh, it's all good, man. I appreciate that you support
the show and that you listen.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
Appreciate you, John. I thought the truck drivers out there, man.
I had a roommate was a truck driver. Man. He
was just it was the best roommate ever. He was
only two days, two days a month, no doubt.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Who that's a month. I had to crib to myself.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
How about Kenny California. You're in the eye couple of
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (20:05):
What's up Ken?
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Who's happy?
Speaker 11 (20:10):
Brothers?
Speaker 9 (20:10):
Hey?
Speaker 11 (20:11):
I get on Kelvin. You know, I don't know when
you're gonna listen to Rob how only times you gotta
tell you don't put all your money in the same
on the coach and Daniel Jones and any other AFC
quarterback at homes or you know, Buffalo going in. There
are the Broncles. But I'm the most proud of Kelvin.
You know what, I'm most proud of rub Today he said, Hey,
(20:33):
I don't want you comment arry play by player on
the Lions because you know why, because I don't miss
their show.
Speaker 5 (20:41):
All right, can I'll talk to you when I talk
to you when you're mad at Rob again. Ken, He'll
be back on my team here at some point. I'm
all right, And you can't start a game worse.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
Okay, you get a run on the board and you
walk the leadoff man for the other team. I think
he just walked George Springer. I think I didn't see
exactly a did.
Speaker 3 (21:00):

Speaker 2 (21:12):
All right, thank you, Steve, appreciate you.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
It's Theakaba, Rod Parker, Kelvin Washington Vlad Guarrel Jr. Is
on fire when it comes to wing the baseball. My gosh,
I mean just got another single here. You you were
saying you and I were just talking a moment ago.
WelCom pitch them make them sweat a little bit, throwing
the inside something.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
I just nowadays that's not what they do.
Speaker 2 (21:34):
That's que that as much as he used to back
in the day, like you.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
A lot of times you wouldn't even get a chance
to hit three home runs, you know what I mean,
Like seriously, like they just would be like, Okay, you're
gonna do anything but that, we're not gonna allow you
to hit a third home run in those situations. And
and the other thing is not like that one. He's
the only guy.
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Keeps doing it three homers crazy, can't do it yourself, right,
even though Reggie Jackson, you know, is a game that
people never remember.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
He had three for a reason. He had three.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
No, he didn't have three.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
He had three in a row.
Speaker 4 (22:06):
He had on three consecutive pitches against three different pictures.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
You know, that was great.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
You know what he is, you know what you know
what he did. He went and set out in the
out field whereas one of them was pitching.
Speaker 7 (22:16):
No.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
But that was his nickname. That's why he's got mister October.
Speaker 5 (22:20):
You know somebody you know very well, someone and the
who's been little he's older than you, but been in
the game.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Who was at that game. You know, I'll talk to
you later about that. Don't get me started on strike
ust have by the way, Uh no, he didn't have any.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
Oh, I mean, I don't know. I don't know his
love life. Don't be asking me now. This is the Yeah,
I don't know if the boys striking out at home
or not. I just don't know where you're at. That's
I don't even know where you are. We get TJ,
who's hopefully in a little bit. But then you get oh,
so we we're waiting on TJ. All right, Uh, we'll
do that as well Monday night.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Real quick.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
You just Steve just brought up what was it, thirty
six passing yards for the Bucks something like that, the
last the last one I saw. I don't they gets
thirty six. That's what Steve just said. Thirty six passing
yards of the Bucks was a thief total.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Total to.
Speaker 5 (23:06):
Rushing and throwing. My god, here I am trying to
give them something. Maybe the didn't run it for a
fifty thirty six total yards. If you're the Lions, you
can't only.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Be if you're if you're Tampa Bay, you're winning seriously,
because they haven't played.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
They haven't played at all, yet get the ball.
Speaker 5 (23:21):
Believe they get the ball at halftime, like you if
you're the Lions. Here they got about was it twenty
eight seconds? Think they're at the fifty or something like that.
You gotta you gotta get a field go the field
goal kicker is not great, but.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Just because this is how stupid things happen.
Speaker 5 (23:34):
This is how you get a Broncos type of game,
something where you're like, well, how do they come back?
Speaker 2 (23:38):
How do they look at that?
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Look at what what are you doing?
Speaker 5 (23:43):
Look at this score that is about to should have
been more. This is what I'm talking about. The Lions
just threw an interception Jared Goff. I don't even that
was just the easy one. They ain't have to work
for that in or say if you threw it right
to them, hit him dead in the numbers fourteen nothing.
This is what I mean when I always tell people
you have to put teams away.
Speaker 6 (24:03):
My only question is who's Jared gob shaking his head out?
Speaker 2 (24:05):
He threw it. I'm assuming it's himself.
Speaker 6 (24:08):
He's didn't throw it to anybody. Why is he upset?
Speaker 5 (24:10):
Yeah, you have to put teams away. Thirty six yards
total offense.
Speaker 1 (24:16):
It's a bad start for Tampa Bay, but they're not
out of it obviously, and to get the ball now
and to get the ball back to start the second half,
So if they'd play it smart and can somehow you know,
nowadays we talked about everybody gets a chance to get
the ball and get downfield for a field goal.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Oh, definitely if you can somehow get a field goal.
There's already see they're already at the field goal thing.
So right away that turns into possibly a field goal.
And then all of a sudden, you're back in the
game and you're gonna get the ball to start the
second half. You put together a drive, you get a touchdown.
Now it's fourteen to ten. Like that's how quickly game
(24:56):
can turn.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
I do wonder too, though, if Mike Evans hurt him,
I didn't. I didn't get a chance to hear what
it was.
Speaker 1 (25:03):
Guy of a catch, because he made an hell of
a you know, stretch to try to corral the ball
in and uh to give itself up like that.
Speaker 4 (25:13):
He came down hard.
Speaker 5 (25:15):
So that's a big blow for the Bucks who had
been without him for weeks. And then you obviously get
your your big time receiver back and he gets hurt.
So that's a big loss for them right now, losing Mikey.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
Here Kirby first and second, uh and one out and
uh three two count?
Speaker 4 (25:34):
Who is that man?
Speaker 11 (25:35):
Is he?
Speaker 4 (25:36):
Kirk He is yeah, tough spot five three.
Speaker 1 (25:39):
Yeah, but he's a he's a grinder. No, that guy
is a grinder man. He doesn't give up any at bats.
He tries real hard. That's a big strikeout by Kirby.
That's huge, and it's a good start to this game.
I'm hoping that it's a great game. That's what I'm
hoping about. I'm hoping so too. Which what's interesting. I
would like it to be like a nail bier.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Well that's what I mean if you're baseball and everybody
else is what you want. I was looking at the
that's a big strikeout. Looking at the game, the uh
when you looked at this game, the teams who won,
they put up a lot of points. You know, where
if we've had the NLCS, it was more of a
pitching you know, like you could win two one, you
can win three to one, you can win something like that.
(26:20):
This one has been basically who can come out and
score and pull up there, pull this up here. So
the teams who won you got six? How long was
that kick? Did you see that? Well?
Speaker 2 (26:33):
I was over here looking at the scores. Fifty three
yard six.
Speaker 5 (26:37):
You got six runs from the blue Jays, six runs
for the Mariners, eight runs from the blue Jays in
Game three, thirteen in Game three, so thirteen runs. The
point is the team who scores a lot in this one.
This one hasn't been like the NLCS where you've had
the pitching kind of battles where you had those and
guys can win two to one, you can win three one.
Speaker 2 (26:56):
This one is definitely offensive line.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Baseball is so you I don't know how many times
I've been watching baseball my whole life. The pitcher will
get the second out of the inning, thinking you could
get out of it, and then somebody comes up with
a clutch two out hit, which is just what happens.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
So it's one one.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
It happens so often, so hard to get the second
both out even yeah, and look at that he knows
it like god, almost almost.
Speaker 4 (27:22):
But they didn't get out of it.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
It's one to one, and now you've got to stop
the floodgates here, this is the one if you get
out of it corner.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
Yeah yeah, and you're there.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
So yeah, Baseball the playoffs fourteen to three. Somehow the
Bucks survived, got a gift three points at the end
of the half they were in the game. They get
the ball in the second half to start, so we'll
see what happens. And they can't play any worse than
they played in the first almost literally like like thirty
six total yards up until that last drive where they
(27:53):
got a fifty three yard field goal to get themselves
back into that game.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
Will be interesting.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
But yeah, yeah, I'm looking at this one back to
the baseball game as well.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
We talked about it a minute ago.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
It will be interesting as again in the middle the
middle innings with Ladd start to start welcome, you know
what I mean. He's too hot, he's playing too well.
I would imagine get a couple of walks at some
point throughout this game, because you know, if it's close enough,
that can't be the guy with somebody on And because
he's just been on fire his whole playoff run. He's
(28:27):
been hitting the ball, seeing the ball very very clear,
and there it is. It's gonna be one one after
one in Toronto. Did you notice that I have peprika?
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Why do you have peprika?
Speaker 1 (28:40):
I need a pep rika because I bought the other
day potato salad and not to have any peprika to
put on top of it, which is really just for presentation.
Yeah right, It really doesn't put the potato south.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
But that's a dedication that I don't know that I've
ever had. And I love me some food. I'm a
Sherman clump on the inside.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
I'm a pep rika guy. I gotta have pepriico on
my potato salad.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Do you put raisins?
Speaker 3 (29:03):
No?
Speaker 4 (29:03):
Raisins? Oh no, God, grapes?
Speaker 2 (29:06):
What?
Speaker 5 (29:07):
No?
Speaker 4 (29:07):
What are you caring?
Speaker 5 (29:08):
We're kind of making sure you don't. I was making sure.
You know, people already be wondering.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
They don't be wondering what wondering?
Speaker 2 (29:15):
What you already said it?
Speaker 3 (29:16):
Today?
Speaker 5 (29:17):
You brought up hockey. You made him go, ah, good,
there we go. I knew he was Alex. I'm so
black out.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
You're in the oil. I'm just telling you.
Speaker 5 (29:28):
Our ancestors are so mad right now. Oh wow, carry
tubman cheap Harriet, Oh God, don't question you questioned it.
Whether I'm making sure stuff in New York. Y'all swear
y'all got the best slices of pizza in the world
New York.
Speaker 4 (29:44):
They're so good that rats carry a whole slice around.
Speaker 5 (29:47):
No, or they carry a whole slice and they so
dag gonna big rats the size of cats.
Speaker 1 (29:53):
Yeah, but they want a whole slice. They're not like
trying to nibble a little bit. They want the whole slice.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
And how would you No, according to you, you ain't seen
a rat in New York in twenty five years.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
I've seen that video and it's the most unbelievable video
I've ever seen of a rat carrying a full slice
of pizza.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
Down the steps.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
That is scary. I'm alright.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
You you saw it, Alex. You've never seen it.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
No, I've seen It's unbelievable.
Speaker 6 (30:16):
I'll get you those sewer systems. There's alligator size.
Speaker 4 (30:19):
Man, it's just it's out raty.
Speaker 5 (30:20):
That's how we know it's steroids in our food, because
they're in our food too, That's what I'm saying. Yeah,
stand down, and then the rats are getting little carried away.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
All right.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
We'll keep you updating all the scores that are happening
as well, and also, uh, Rob g cover years because
Rob has something to say to your coach and he
thought he already knew this was gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
We'll tell you what we're talking about.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
The Odd Couple Robin Kelvin on a Magic City Monday,

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Last night, of course, on the group textah I said
something about the Rob Cheese Raiders and nothing, and of
course Elijah texted me, said, do you want me to
pull up some of the stuff that you lies?
Speaker 4 (31:42):
Lies?
Speaker 2 (31:43):
He said, I know back in.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
January you had to take on pekell.
Speaker 5 (31:49):
I just envisioned you looking like the command Center and
the movie Minority Report, like you got ten screens up.
All right, Well, laptops, what did I say on this one?
What is my best? What did I do in ninety five?
What did I And you're just finding stuff?
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Well, in case you.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
Don't remember, here's what I say.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
Time to rehitch an old hon take that's gone.
Speaker 11 (32:05):
Cold the outside iced to go in the middle.
Speaker 1 (32:09):
It's microwave take with the on cup of It is
an absolutely terrible hire by your Las Vegas Raiders, rob Gie,
I'm robbing you know it.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
It's a bad hire.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
He's gonna be seventy four basically when the season starts.
He's a pork chop away from not being the head coach.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
I'm just saying, sound good. The bad part is he's
for he's here for the short run.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Mike.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Like the idea that you're gonna hire somebody and then go, well,
he'll fix the culture in the next guy.
Speaker 4 (32:40):
No, that's not how it works.
Speaker 1 (32:42):
Okay, because once he's no longer there, whoever the new
guy is, that's gonna be his culture.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
Stop it.
Speaker 4 (32:50):
Okay, now we're passing down culture?
Speaker 2 (32:53):
Is that what we're doing?
Speaker 1 (32:54):
A seventy four year old man with no quarterback in
that division?
Speaker 4 (33:00):
What are they.
Speaker 2 (33:00):
Trying to do?
Speaker 1 (33:02):
When Pete Carroll goes for the press conference, Rob G,
he should have a scheme mask on because he just
robbed the Raiders of his retirement.
Speaker 4 (33:13):
Fun like, that's what this is.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
And after that game.
Speaker 1 (33:18):
Against the Chiefs when they got skunked thirty one, nothing,
they look awful. And it ain't just Gino Smith. Gino's
pizza has been awful. Okay with all the interceptions.
Speaker 2 (33:28):
Rob G.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
They don't run the ball, they don't stop anybody defensively,
they don't get pressure on the court.
Speaker 4 (33:35):
What do they do? What has Pete Carroll done?
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Zero? They're higher the him, make any sense? We obviously
we talked about it.
Speaker 5 (33:43):
Just like they just what they like him. I guess, yeah,
And that's perfectly fine. You know what that is. That's
a consultant. That's a person you have in the front office,
you know, part of the team I'm with. That makes sense. Hey,
he knows football, one on high levels in college, one
of high levels of pro you bring him in I
am going to well, you know, and all of a
sudden you bring him in to be a coach. To me,
there's nothing, There was nothing exciting about that high Do they.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
Realize what happened in Seattle? Why he wasn't coaching anymore
because he couldn't coach it?
Speaker 3 (34:09):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (34:10):
And it was his voice said run its course and
people weren't trying to hear it no more.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
And that's just what I was telling you earlier. We were
talking about it.
Speaker 5 (34:15):
Off to mic rob it's okay to move on, and
it's okay for an organization to say thank you, but no,
like you had an amazing career, this Hall of Fame career,
and Bill Belichick, well you and c like, it's okay
to be like, nah.
Speaker 4 (34:30):
We good rob G.
Speaker 1 (34:32):
When I say he's a dinosaur, I think the best
way to describe Pete Carroll right now is Fred Flintstone
with a better car.
Speaker 4 (34:39):
That's what he is.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
Well, you mentioned the pork chob. That's ain't that what
Fred had on the side.
Speaker 5 (34:42):
Of the re exists, That's what you was eating earlier.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
I'm just saying like I knew this was a bad
hire from Jump and Raider fans are like.
Speaker 4 (34:52):
Dude, what why can't we get anything right?
Speaker 2 (34:55):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (34:55):
Antonio Pierce remember that, rob G.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
I wasn't with that because they didn't do a real
coaches search because they listened to the players, which is
I get it, but you need to do a search,
right yeah.
Speaker 5 (35:09):
And also to me, rob G, you can you know,
it's obviously your squad, but to compound it, he wanted
to go get his guy, which is fun, but it
better work, you know what I mean. And it didn't
work and it hasn't worked horribly bad in horrible fashion.
Speaker 4 (35:22):
Rob G, what are they doing?
Speaker 1 (35:23):
You watch them every week and you're you know, invested,
How disappointed are you on how bad they are?
Speaker 4 (35:30):
They suck?
Speaker 7 (35:31):
They're horrible. They sucked at the time. They shouldn't have suck.
And toil you guys point about the Geno Smith, Pete
Carroll Perring. It's not like you're like, hey, we're gonna
reunite Aaron Rodgers and Mike.
Speaker 4 (35:41):
McCarthy, right that one had years and years of success together.
Speaker 7 (35:44):
We're not gonna get Sean Payton and Drew Brees right
that year's a year Gino's meth that one good season
in Seattle and got paid good and he got paid
for it, like right for him. But it's not like
we were trying to recreate you know, the Mona Lisa.
It was like, hey, you know this guy that he
was all right for a season and covers kind of barren.
The one thing that that that has surprised me with
this whole situation is how on earth has Tom Brady
(36:09):
avoided any kind of criticism.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
I agree, that's a good point.
Speaker 7 (36:13):
If you anybody who knows anything about this whole situation
and the reporting, his fingerprints were all over this thing.
They ain't consulted with him throughout the entire process. They
don't have a quarterback, they don't have a coach, they
didn't draft it.
Speaker 4 (36:27):
That's a good point, right, And he's the one who
worked out. He's a mentor to Shador.
Speaker 1 (36:33):
He could have he could have decided, hey there's our
guy right there. I work out with the guy. I
know what he's about. Blah blah blah's work, ethic, his pedigree.
He didn't have anything to do with that. It's just
so many things. And you're right, Rob g if the
Raiders had turned around, tell me Tom Brady.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Wouldn't be getting Tom Brady.
Speaker 5 (36:51):
See, he knows the game. He's a Jesus. This is
why I brought him. Man, he just was so wise
and Sage. Yeah, it's just disappointing how bad they are.
And again, you know, we talk about this, it's amazing
to me how many teams you named the sport because
I'll raise you up until last season obviously, but like
i'll raise you a Knicks, historic, big, big brand, Oakland
(37:14):
you know, well, now the Vegas Raiders, but they were
Oakland Raiders.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
And then now that the Vegas Raiders in New York.
Speaker 5 (37:18):
It's amazing to me how many teams, like the New
York Jets just don't do anything. They don't win, they
don't have these good seasons where there's something to point to,
Like the Raiders haven't been Gas is O two and
that's twenty something years ago, and it's like, you're the Raiders,
You're this legendary brand, You're this you know logo we all.
Speaker 4 (37:37):
Still living when we're coming back a little bit. And
then they had to release the John guten emaouse.
Speaker 5 (37:41):
Yeah, well, by the way, y'all overstated John Gruden's tenure.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
We got Jo wrote them.
