Speaker 1 (00:40):
It was like I was quoting somebody saying that. And
of course we'll never know, Rob, We'll never know.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
No, I think it was actually a video you sent
us from that Golden I knew that was unbelievable.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
I'm a woman, a woman with a gray beard. Yeah,

This is.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
The changing of the year twenty twenty six. Right around
the corner.
Speaker 3 (01:49):
Carry and I.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Will be doing the Herd on New Year's Day, so
we'll be here from rob Ge. What Tom is that
show come on three the noon, the three eastern.
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Yes, yes, that is correct, noon the three eastern.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
So we'll do that show and then uh, I'll swap
out Carry for I think Martin Weiss, and then I'll
do going.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Back to back. Oh, all these light skids looking like
I'm just.
Speaker 5 (02:22):
No Mexican. No, but I'm doing the two shows. You're
doing two back to back, not back to back. I
got the little gap in between.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Yeah, Coveno Rich right, don't they come on between us?
So I'll have a two hour break, I'll uh eat
something and then you know, be.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Ready for four hour break rhyme, Yeah, four hours. I'm
sorry because there's two other was the other show? That's right?
Speaker 1 (02:43):
No more?
Speaker 3 (02:43):
What you do. Do you forget there was that show
the Doug. I forgot. I forgot that piece of the
man you heard there's got to soon Bro got rid
of yeah man. All right. So so Elijah our social
media Google and I just pull a curtain back.
Speaker 1 (03:04):
You know, there are people on the chat for YouTube saying,
rob G, where's the Aaron Rodgers topic?
Speaker 3 (03:13):
And I just want to pull a curtain back.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
I tried to push through on Aaron Rodgers' topic and
Rob G had no interest in it. On today's show,
he said, I don't like what's the topic. Like, the
Steelers never beat the Browns at home. They don't like
they've lost like five or six corner row or whatever,
so they.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Don't never beat them there.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
It was pass interference in the end zone Rogers through
that dime and corner of the end zone.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Stop what possibly could you talk about? Stop? So well,
here we go, rob G.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
We're gonna get to the Steelers here in a second
before we do the odd mob. The YouTube is winning
in hot and heavy already. I hope you guys got
thick skin because they coming at both of.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Your next, both of us, hope for y'all don't care.
I don't know. They come on my neck every night.
Speaker 7 (04:03):
Wow, Hey yay, Alex, Alex, you let some slide Robins.
Speaker 6 (04:17):
Uh, let's see here. Spider Mike says, Carrie Rhodes is terrible.
How many times are you gonna say yeah and then
pretend to write some down?
Speaker 3 (04:28):
I haven't said. He wanted to say yeah, but he couldn't.
He can't do it. He can't do it. After a
picture legend.
Speaker 6 (04:40):
H Scott Lewis says, rob might might not always be right,
but he's never wrong, the Grand Wizard of wrestling like that,
and uh here's my favorite one.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Underscore.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
Apache says Jesus Caleb hasn't done a damn thing to
deserve this much glaze.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
What both of y'all getting dumped on?
Speaker 8 (05:05):
Man?
Speaker 3 (05:05):
All we know is I haven't said anything. What's that?
Speaker 6 (05:08):
Skealchen pretending to write stuff down?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
That's what happened.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
No, look at the paper, they weren't on it, there is.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
I threw the paper away. That's funny. That was funny.
That's pretty good, all right?
Speaker 6 (05:24):
Uh No, yeah, big loss yesterday for your Pittsburgh Steelers.
Setting up the odd couple ball. We'll get to that
later this week. Yes, only one man can be right about.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
The Pittsburgh Steelers. Rob Parker or Kelvin Washington will find
out who but this scene Jordan's I got on.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
I'm right.
Speaker 6 (05:40):
No, you're not, because if you missed this one, it's
gonna be tough.
Speaker 3 (05:44):
Those of Kelvin rock. What was the best rod lyon?
Speaker 6 (05:47):
Rob did his victory lap segment on Monday. Oh, he
did his shot to potentially lose this one.
Speaker 3 (05:53):
No, no, no, I didn't say it was over.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
You did.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
No, I didn't.
Speaker 9 (05:57):
Kevin, you were wrong about the Steeler.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
I had two games. I didn't lose yesterday. Come on,
I didn't lose yesterday. All they gotta do is win
the last.
Speaker 6 (06:07):
Gat's right, it's all they got. Well, it goes double
meaning not just for you and Calvin and the odd
couple beat the odd couple super Bowl. According to ESPN's
Adam Schefter, he said it on Pat McAfee today that
miss Pat McFee that if Mike Tomlin and the Steelers
lose this game on Sunday, winner take all this time,
(06:30):
it counts right against the Baltimore Ravens, that it is
quote possible that he would step aside from the organization
for good and either get into TV or hopefully find
another gig.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
Must win for Mike Tomlin. And I knew that.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
I knew that that's what Mike Tomlin's gonna say. Hey,
I'll say this. I got a better step than that.
It wouldn't be his.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Choice if I was the Pittsburgh Steelers organism.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
If they lose and they're at home, they lose that
game and the Ravens get in and win a division
when they've been.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
Awful all year.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
To me, it would just be another nine and eight
year with Mike Tomlin. At some point again he won
the super Bowl. It's a long time ago. They haven't
won a playoff game since twenty sixteen, right, Rob Giz
sixteen or eighteen? I'm always eighteen, twenty eighteen. They ever
won a Super Bowl since, I mean the playoff game
since twenty eighteen. Dude, they gotta win Like this is
(07:34):
they win a division and you're doing something a little
different than even last year when they made the playoffs.
You won a division, you can win a home playoff game,
got a quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and then lost what people
don't even understand. What's Aaron Rodgers record as quarterback of
the Steelers this year.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
Do you know five hundred eight how many games he missed? One?
Speaker 5 (07:58):
He missed two games, he missed two, five, But he's
nine in five. You only missed how many games too?
He missed two to two games that he missed they
lost No. Seven Okay, yes, yes, he's not in five.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
So sometimes you know, you look at the record and go, well,
it's not different from No. Nine in five is different
from what it was last year when they lost their
last five games of the regular season with Russell Wilson.
My point is this, Uh, they got to make this
happen like this is Otherwise Mike Thomlin had a great
run in Pittsburgh. It's just time for a change and
(08:38):
that's all. It doesn't mean he can't coach or he
can't go somewhere else. There comes a time when you
need to make a change. And I just think Mike
Toimelind's time in Pittsburgh unless they they if they go
win the division, beat the Chargers in the first round
or whatever you know, at.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Home or what.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Okay, I'm good, you know what I mean. Like as
far as him staying, but if they lose, and it's
just another disappointing Steelers year.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I'm done with Mike tom Yeah.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
Both of these coaches are in the same position. Yeah,
I think both of them. Both organizations need new voices.
Speaker 3 (09:17):
I agree.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
I've said as early as what week four, Rob g
on John Harbor as well as week.
Speaker 5 (09:23):
Four, Yeah, they they should be fired. Yeah, they both
need new voices. And that's not an indictment on them
to his head coaches. They both won, They've both done
really good things in this league for a while, but
it just comes they both won Super Bowl. Yeah, there's
a point in time where your voice becomes redundant, to
become stale, and you need fresh voices in there. And
when you talk about Pittsburgh in general, this team, this
(09:43):
team was never good enough to.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Win it all anyway.
Speaker 5 (09:47):
So, like you said, if the success for this season
for Pittsburgh would have been to win a playoff game,
and that would have been different and that would have
brought different life. But I don't see that happening. I
don't even think they're gonna win this game Sunday, So
you may be losing this bet, Rob. I think I
think the Ravens are gonna win this I.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Actually think they're gonna the Steelers gonna win, and you know, yeah,
I do, because the Ravens have been bad all year
and when they need games, Zay Flowers fumble.
Speaker 3 (10:18):
No, I'm somebody somebody does likely fumbles or drop the
ball over.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Derek Henry fumbles, Lamar fumbles, Andrew do you remember Mark
Andrews drop the ball drops. I'm just saying like, like
this is how their seasons have ended, like over and over.
I'm not just and you know, I'm all about Lamar.
I don't even know if he's playing or not. You
know what I mean. He had a back injury, so
I'm not sure he's playing or whatnot. And and if
(10:47):
he does, I just can't count on them. They've been
so disappointing and would not I'm gonna say, if he
does play and they get to Pittsburgh or whatever, could
they I get them losing the game on some costly
fumble or interception or something bad like they always do.
And that's what they've done carry and that yes, like
(11:08):
they don't they very seldom. If you look at the
losses that they've had in the postseason, it's usually self inflicted.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
Put your put your better side. These two teams one
of them are going to get in. Who would you
have more faith than winning one game in the playoffs
between those twos, Well, just.
Speaker 1 (11:27):
Because of the history of what the what the Ravens
have on paper?
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Yeah, so I agree on paper, but.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
That's not who they are, and that and that, and
I can't I can't hear you. I can't like not
see the forty points in the opener and they lose
that game in Buffalo, you know what I mean. I
can't see the forty points they gave up to the
Lions or thirty eight points and the and the forty
points they gave up to the Texans, you know, and
and and you could say this is.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
My super Bowl pick.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
And I'm telling you know, normally I want my pick
to be right, so I could be on that bandwagon,
but I'm changing because it just doesn't feel right. That's
what I'm fighting normally, be like, all right, they got
another chance, my pick is still alive.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Let Lamar get in and then they're gonna roll all
the way to the super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
That sounds good, but they haven't done anything this year
to make me feel like this postseason, if they were
to make it would be different.
Speaker 5 (12:24):
From any other I got you. No, I agree with
you on that. It doesn't feel that way. But I'm
always I always side on the I always sat on
the side of if you have dudes, I'd rather have
the team with dudes.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
I don't.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
I don't disagree. But it hasn't worked for them. That
that's the only it hasn't worked because we've been We've
been picking them every year. I picked them three years
in a row. You know what I carry out, right,
So I know what you're saying. When I look at
that roster, I cannot believe Zay Flowers is a pro
bowler with more interceptions than touch down what Jerrick Henry
(13:03):
never was a fumbler, fumble lightest.
Speaker 5 (13:07):
But then he comes back this past week and have
two hundred some yards rushing right, also that he could
have four yards on twenty carries.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (13:19):
On Sunday, I don't know. I just they don't feel
good to me. I wish I could have as much
confidence as you.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
Yeah, you don't have it. I don't look at rob g.
Speaker 1 (13:30):
What were the two losses that they had at home
like they had before the big game with with Derek Henry,
they lost two games at home back to back at.
Speaker 5 (13:39):
The Steelers the Steelers once? Was it the Steelers Steelers once?
And then But there was.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
Another game they were at home that I was like,
had they run off like five or six when they
had the chance and everybody got back and he thought
they could make a.
Speaker 6 (13:51):
Run loss of the Bengals on Thanksgiving and then they
lost to the Steelers.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
I was like, at home, yeah, those like, yeah, you
gotta win those, Yeah, you gotta win them.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
You gotta win alls at home. I just that's when
I lost it for him.
Speaker 6 (14:05):
And I believe that against New England, they had them
dead to rights until the fourth quarter when Drake May
had like a perfect fourth quarter and they lost that
game to And that's.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
What we've seen, all right, eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three
sixty nine. If the Stealers lose on Sunday, should Mike
Tomlin be fired? I'm raising my hand. We'll continue that
conversation next with you. It is the odd couple, Rob
Parker Kerry Rhoads right here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Stick and.
Speaker 10 (14:36):
Stay, especially if you have a certain type of team
you like in the US of a if you have dudes,
I'd rather have the team with dudes.

Stat Packidge just through another pick. It's a flag on
the whatever in Rob's face when he's he's so happy.
(17:04):
I'm so happy I.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Watched the guy's career.
Speaker 6 (17:08):
What I mean problem? What makes you happier? This is
a serious question and we'll go around the room. Everyone
can answer.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 6 (17:15):
A Matthew Stafford interception or an Aaron Judge home run.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Ooh, what makes you happier? What makes your pants a
little tighter?
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Tighter pants? You know, I don't root for teams. I
don't care who wins or loses. You are faking okay,
But if you gave me those two, it would be
the Stafford.
Speaker 5 (17:42):
I knew that that and I'm happy because he threw
in this episode.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
I'm gonna tell you, Jikarski Tard, I just can't let
go of that guy. Remember Stafford through the pick in
that NFC Championship game against the forty nine.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
You remember that right there? That was him.
Speaker 1 (18:02):
Like like you know where a guy is like right
on Q that's his brand. It was right at that
moment that would have sealed the game. And of course
it didn't happen. Look at this and b John is gone.
You ain't to see you later, ain't catching him.
Speaker 3 (18:17):
It's over. Wow.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
Wow Wow, twenty one to twenty to nothing against the
Rams on the team.
Speaker 1 (18:29):
I just say I was going through Super Bowl LL
you go, yeah, that's your team. I'm glad you got
you and your MVP. If you have dudes, I'd rather
have the team with dudes. There you go, all I'm
gonna say to you, carry Rhodes is where's your Messiah?
Speaker 3 (18:43):
Now? All right?
Speaker 1 (18:45):
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox? Should tomlin be
asked or should he step down? Either way if they
don't beat the Ravens on Sunday Night to win the
division and get into the playoffs. Andre in Massachusetts, you're
on the odd couple Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
What's up, Dray?
Speaker 12 (19:04):
How you doing? Thanks for taking the call, Listen. I
can't say, Mike Tomlinz has to be asked if they
lose this game, which would be an absolute catastrophe. They've
had every opportunity to win the AFC North with the
Ravens going in the wrong direction and Cincinnati having injuries
in the Browns being the Browns. But the issue for
me is my New York Knickabockers. Okay, when they got
(19:26):
rid of Tom Tibbeau, they didn't really have a plan
beat after that.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Now, but that, but Dre, let me say this. I
called that that Tims was gonna get fired. Right he
got fired to I said on the radio I would
fire him the next day.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
They fired him.
Speaker 1 (19:41):
When you blow because Dre, you're too caught up. They
knock off the Celtics, they they.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
Got they thinking they're going to the final.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yes, they're up by fourteen with two minutes to go
on an NBA game at home and blow that game.
Then you lose Game two and you're O two in
the series is over. We lost the first two games
at home. If you can't get fired off of that,
dre what what could you get fired off of?
Speaker 3 (20:07):
I just don't understand it. Did we lose them? All right?
I just you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (20:14):
Like seriously, yeah, no, I mean after you beat the Celtics,
the reigning champs, you you you should be favorite and
you should win and get.
Speaker 3 (20:21):
To the fire at home? Am I right?
Speaker 1 (20:23):
Like seriously, Like, let's not act like nothing happened there,
and I don't think that they're just giving them a
contract extension that summer.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
So they weren't looking for the reason. They they thought
they had their guy.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
And after that they were like, dude, no, all right,
a Rocky in South Carolina, you're in the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
What's up Rocky evening guys?
Speaker 3 (20:42):
And how were you? Yes to you too?
Speaker 13 (20:47):
All right?
Speaker 14 (20:48):
So my take on Mike Commons uh and Stinglers aren't
my team, but yeah, they're one of the great organizations
in NFL history, and and so if you're thinking about
whether you love Tomlin or whether my thought is and
I'm gonna relate to one of your your your colleagues
in their afternoon show today because they were talking about
(21:11):
so if you if Tomlin goes, who are you gonna get?
Speaker 3 (21:14):
No, And they.
Speaker 14 (21:16):
Were talking earlier, and probably their top candidates would be
Brian Flores or Robert Salah were their former head coaches
that were fired from their previous jobs. And so, if
you're gonna replace Mike Tomlin in an organization like that,
who are you gonna get? Whether it be college football
(21:37):
or whether it be the NFL. You know, if you're
gonna get rid of somebody who's who, who has had
a lot of success, Okay, well who we're gonna replace
him with?
Speaker 1 (21:46):
Well, here here's my here's my pushback to people who
use that always like, well.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Well who are gonna get or whatever?
Speaker 1 (21:51):
Yeah, yeah, don't be afraid. Okay, I've said this before. Okay,
and hear me out rock here. Don't be afraid of
the unknown, fra be afraid of the known. You know
what myke timeline Tomlin has been since twenty eighteen, where
(22:13):
you haven't won a playoff game, and you just been
nine and eight or nine and seven or whatever.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
It is like, you've seen this for eight nine years now.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
Yes, he won a Super Bowl, but you can't hold
on to that forever, and you can't be afraid of
the unknown. Sometimes you go and make you can't get
over the hump. You bring somebody else in. You have
all the pieces there, and the next guy get you
over the hump. The two thousand and four pieces were
a perfect example. They had a young Rick Carlole as coach, yes,
(22:44):
but they didn't think he was ready to get that
squad where they needed to go. So they go get
Larry Brown, who's who had never won an NBA championship,
but we all know well at that time, was a
better coach than Carlisle. They upgraded the position and guess
what the Pistons did. They want a championship.
Speaker 9 (23:02):
The next year, Tony Dungee uh to Chucky John Gruden
the same exact thing that they were knocking on the
door Rocky, the Tampa Bay Bucks were knocking on.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
They couldn't get over it, and they couldn't get through.
They go get John Gruden. They win the Super Bowl
the next year. It happens. This is what we're talking about.
That's all.
Speaker 14 (23:26):
Yeah, And I agree with you, Rob, and and my
question was somewhat rhetorical in that I agree with you,
and then maybe you need to bring in fresh Maybe
it's a coordinator from somewhere right, somewhere else. There's a
lot of dudes out there that are probably very qualified,
and sometimes you need a new face, a new voice,
(23:47):
and new everything. I agree not that, So my question
was somewhat rhetorical.
Speaker 3 (23:52):
I got you. You want us to name names? I
got you. I got you. Thank you, Rocky. We appreciate it.
We're up against it though.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Steve de Sager has the Sports Update, Sports Rap, Sports Information.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
I don't know. I'm gonna get you updated. I don't
know what to say.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to
listen live.
Speaker 3 (24:19):
Wow. Thank you, Steve, appreciate it. It is the odd couple.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
Rob Parker Carrie Rhodes in for Kelvin Washington and Rob g.
We do have Kelvin. This is not Kelvin Kerry. This
is not good news for you. Okay, what happens.
Speaker 3 (24:39):
That's not good for you.
Speaker 6 (24:40):
We'll get to that in a second. Got what's happening
right now in Atlanta? Twenty one? Other thing that is
Steve to say you just mentioned is setting up two
wild scenarios in the NFL. First, from the Atlanta Falcons
point of view, if they win this game, they're twenty
one nothing and they win in Week eighteen. The Carolina
Panthers could then potentially lose on Saturday against the Tampa
(25:06):
Bay Buccaneers and still win the AFS or NFC sal
at eight and nine. Who how because it would be
a three way t at eight to nine where Carolina
wins the head to head tiebreakers over both teams.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
So it was.
Speaker 6 (25:21):
Billed as a winner take all Carolina Tampa Bay on on.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Also, but you got the Falcons would have to win.
The Falcons have to win tonight and win we eight team,
so they played Week eight team.
Speaker 6 (25:33):
Doesn't matter this Falcons fan right now, I'm pulling it
up as we speak. No, I'm just kidding, but that
just kind of sets up they play the Saints.
Speaker 3 (25:42):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (25:42):
So Carolina is very exciting right now because winter or lose,
they have a chance to win the division.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
But here's the big story. This is car.
Speaker 6 (25:50):
We opened up hour two talking about Drake May and
his MVP odds. He was second coming into tonight's game at.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
Plus He has not jumped to the number one plus
two hundred.
Speaker 6 (26:04):
Matthew Stafford was minus two fifty and one half of football.
The live ards have shifted. Drake May, who was plus
two hundred, is now minus two ninety no favorite to
win the NFL MVP because Matthew Stafford has been so
bad in the first half and one.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
And I'm gonna tell you this. We've seen this happen
and you'll remember this. Christmas Night, Lamar and the Ravens
go to San Francisco. Rock Party was the leader in
the clubhouse, right right, he bawled out. Rock Party had
four interceptions in that game the cardboard national television.
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Yes, and that was but that wouldn't make sense.
Speaker 1 (26:45):
No, But I'm just saying, like having a bad Yes,
But because Drake May, even though it was the Jets,
rolled out a perfect quarterback right the last time you
saw him, he was great. Matthew Stafford here has this
bad game. Who do they have next? Because then they
would look at it and go, well, we watched them
against Seattle, couldn't get anything going on the fourth quarter,
(27:05):
blew that game.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
Who is it? Cardinals? Yeah, they should be done. But
you know what I mean, they shouldn't beat this team too. No,
you're right and see that. And that's the whole argument,
right we talking about the easy teams or easy if
this hurts you, this hurts you though, Oh I know
Matthew Stafford.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
Taking yes it does because okay, but what if he
comes back and wins this game?
Speaker 1 (27:28):
Well if they come back and win. But I'm just
changed right back around. Is Kyle Shanahan the offensive coordinator?
Speaker 3 (27:33):
I'm just it is the Falcons.
Speaker 6 (27:37):
You if you wouldn't lay money on Stafford right now
because you said he's gonna win by default, rob and
now that the odds are no longer minus, they're plus,
they're plus money.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
I just I see.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
I know what they're trying to do. You know, in Vegas,
they're trying to get you to put some money out.
You know what I mean, I get it. I think
if he has a just a four interception game or
really really bad and then they don't win.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Against the Cardinals, then I think he could lose. I
really do.
Speaker 1 (28:02):
I would think that the way you finish, in the
way people see and go, how did the how did
the Rams go from the number one seed in the
NFC they lost that ridiculous game in Seattle to the
seventh seed or six seeds exactly, and then and then
they just lost to Atlanta, and then they lost to
the Cardinals, and matt didn't play well and in the
last two games, like you.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Could lose because cindish what I'm saying, he could if
he lost both of these games. Yeah, he lost both
or play poorly in both. So it's interesting.
Speaker 6 (28:31):
Wow, by the way, the odds have shifted again. Of course,
Drake may now minus three oh five. Oh what's that
in the span of whatever from their last offensive drive
the halftime. It's moving. I mean, that's a fifteen dollars.
That's pretty much a sure thing when it comes to
that's what they're telling you. We five that's a big
(28:53):
one number. Yeah, all right, that's crazy to me.
Speaker 5 (28:58):
This game thing over, Matthew Stafford was gonna come back
and put up some numbers in the second half.
Speaker 6 (29:01):
Yeah, sounds like somebody who picked them round. So here
here's a fun stat if you're a Rams fan. The
Rams took a thirty to fourteen lead early in the
fourth quarter Week sixteen versus Seattle. Since then, there we go,
Here we go, they've been outscored forty five to seven.
Cause for concern, carry rounds. That's no, there's no cause
(29:23):
to concern. I know you guys are trying to, you know,
bring it all my way at this moment.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
I'm telling you, smoke no.
Speaker 5 (29:30):
But I'm telling you this team is the They're not
playing like it right now.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
This is my team.
Speaker 5 (29:34):
I think they're the most complete team talent wise, game wise,
in the in the NFC.
Speaker 1 (29:40):
Having a bad game, having a bad house. All right,
So here we go. I'm gonna go out on the limb.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Oh what are you saying? Now? What're you gonna say?
I got a bet for you. They're gonna lose in
the first round. Let's get a bet. Okay, let's go
once you got pair of Jordan's. Okay, you have them
getting to the super Bowl. I have them not getting
to the super Bowl. That's not a fair. That ain't fair. No,
you can get Rams or the Fields. Yeah, you say
(30:04):
they're going you know you're team.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
They are, But you gotta say a team that's gonna
make it, And I don't take that bet.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
No, what do you mean.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
I'm going against the Rams getting to the Super If
you feel confident I do.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
You could wear win a pair of Jordans. That's a bett.
But you're confident saying they're not the best team. So
who was your team that.
Speaker 1 (30:21):
I don't need to pick a team when we bet
it's one team you bet like normally, what do you mean?
Speaker 3 (30:26):
What are you talking about? You just say, Oh, I
just say the Rams gonna make a Super Bowl? You
gonna say they're not. No, I'm just saying.
Speaker 1 (30:32):
But but I also said, and Rob G knows you
said it was like four teams you trust more?
Speaker 3 (30:38):
Rob G?
Speaker 1 (30:38):
What did I say last year, all year, all year
about about the Chiefs that they wouldn't win the Super Bowl?
That they last year last year not not. Oh no,
even when they won the eleven in a row, they
will not. They're not good enough. This is what I'm
trying to tell you. I ain't taking that bet right
(30:59):
now because you ain't putting the If you put a
team in, I will.
Speaker 6 (31:02):
If this was Vegas, you get six to one on
to pick the Rams and Rob just.
Speaker 8 (31:06):
Straight It should be straight up because he's so confident
I am. But if you have a team confident anybody
anybody on YouTube take carry these wishy.
Speaker 6 (31:17):
Washing By the way, they have not let up on
carry they have. This is the newest quote, the newest
comed just game is might be my second favorite. Clay
says man, my man's carry Road hasn't picked up a
pant since Odd Mos did?
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Is dirty going?
Speaker 14 (31:31):
Mind?
Speaker 3 (31:33):
What what's up with the pin man? It's all done
down here? He's not making fake notes? Is that I
have the pen in my hand?
Speaker 14 (31:41):
Now?
Speaker 3 (31:42):
You see how they do me? Unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
You guys are trashing me on the show, Rob trying
to make me take blind bets?
Speaker 3 (31:48):
What what are we doing here? All right, we'll wrap
this bad boy up next.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
It is the Odd Couple of War coming Rob Parker

This is the last co co.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
All right, Kurt in North Dakota, You're on the odd
couple Fox Sports Radio and you are the last call.
Speaker 13 (33:57):
Thanks a lot, Rob, You guys are the best way
that Thank you, Rob. You guys are great. Uh, no
way that Pittsburgh is gonna lose that game. I you know,
Hardball and and Lamar they're both class acts. They're not
going to go and rain on our Aaron's parade. You
know that could be a nice story going into the playoffs.
And uh, you know the Ravens they're kind of a
they're kind of a maybe they're taking on water, you
(34:19):
know that ships. They know we have other sales up
right now. But uh so yeah, no way Pittsburgh is
losing and uh and they got a good chance to
win in the first playoffs game too. But anyways, I
love your show. I love you guys and Katy Holidays.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
Thank you.
Speaker 13 (34:31):
That's all I got, Rob, Thank you.
Speaker 3 (34:33):
Thank you man.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
Appreciate you, no doubt about it, my man. Wow, So
Rob G, we got more odd mob stuff or no?
What are people uh talking here? If not I want
to say something about your team.
Speaker 6 (34:49):
Uh, there's a couple of people that's not that important,
but they just wanted to say shout out to Robb
G for exposing.
Speaker 5 (34:54):
Carry Oh wow, it's the same.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
It's another guy. Okay. I was like, I was like, okay,
now one's enough. We got multiple Now even Kawhi's laughing
at you. I mean Kawa can laugh.
Speaker 6 (35:10):
He's just scoring fifty five carry on the weekends, not
using like magic markers and pencils.
Speaker 3 (35:14):
He's not gonna use a single pan. Look, I'm not
touching it again. All right.
Speaker 1 (35:21):
I don't want to say I told you so, but
I told you so that Pete Carroll when they hired
and robbed you. Was I down on that hire big time?
Come on, Carrie, what are they doing a seventy four
year old coach? Come on, like seriously, even if he
were to start to get things turned around, somebody else
would have to finish the job. So why not let
(35:43):
somebody else start it so that they can finish. Oh, well,
he'll build the culture. Well, if he builds the culture
and leaves, the new guy has to build a new culture.
So I didn't even get that we're passing down culture.
And now there's a report by NFL network saying he's
doubtful to come back, and I'm not even surprised he
should be fired. And I think they what did he
(36:05):
have a two year I think he had a two
year deal. I think yeah, I think so. But it
was a retirement package, a golden parachute. I mean, what
were they thinking carry. I'm not against older people who are,
you know, the good at their job. I'm really not.
But I just I didn't see that working. And then
they're not just bad in one area, They're terrible across
(36:27):
the board.
Speaker 5 (36:27):
We're bad football team, right, a bad football They don't
do anything well. They're the worst team in the league.
And the fact that they are in that position when
you bring in Pete Carroll and quarterback the one that
he wanted to steady the ship, and you have your players,
you have your best receiver there that doesn't want to
be like, there's so many things about that job and
(36:48):
what he did there that just doesn't make any sense.
Speaker 3 (36:51):
Rob G st the boy, Rob g.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
You, being a resident Raiders fan, this is worse than
even you could have imagined.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
Am I right? Or am I being unfair?
Speaker 6 (37:00):
Totally facts and Daniel Jeremiah works for the Chargers, which
NFL Network had I think the most prescient tweet about
this whole situation during the Giants Raiders game says some
of the effect of it's one thing to lose with
a bunch of young guys, and it's something else to
lose with a bunch of wash the veterans, which is
what the Raiders are doing right now.
Speaker 1 (37:18):
Right and and there's the point there's young kids learning.
You can understand. Okay, this is a building block. No, no,
this was not when he came there. What they were
talking about. Tyler Lockett came into the league with Carrie Rose.
You got to touchdown past yesterday, like what are we doing? Him,
pac Man and Carry, we're all in the same draft class.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
And they were all cussing like they were all they're.
Speaker 6 (37:40):
All not welcome back here on the show.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
You who's next?
Speaker 1 (37:47):
That was bad, unbelievable. Yeah, that's a that's a bad Jerry.
He always a pleasure by man. We're making Thursday will
be on the herd. We will be Yes, that'll be fun.
But Carry, let's make that back. Come on man, don't
beat Oh, come on, Carry. I will not make the
bet unless you put a team up against me. Why
he doesn't want to win, Jordans, He's so confident, Hey,
(38:09):
bring somebody. The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon is
coming up next.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
I never miss your radio show.
Speaker 3 (38:15):
I never hear it, so I never miss it. Did
you hear that
