(00:54):
Parker and his best friend Calvin Washington. Isn't that that's
for the other show though. That's that's you know, Jason
Smith and his best friend Michael Harmon. I can't put
that in there, Martin. Come on now, yeah, in the
waiting room out there, a little lobby area. They're coming
up next, So stick around, stick around for them. That
is for sure. All your shopping done, you get it

(01:15):
done early? Are you a last minute guy? That's gonna
run out and get some stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Uh, arnie, I ain't running nowhere, buddy.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I got all mine sent in.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
I actually just took a load in of Amazon boxes
from the because I was thinking. I was like, dang,
I gotta put this somewhere. It's in the car. I
had to put it in the car and I couldn't
bring in the house.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
What's this?

Speaker 4 (01:36):
And it's like, you know, I can't open that, don't
I got I don't know what in what box?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
You know?

Speaker 4 (01:40):
So I gotta I gotta open it incognito outside.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Today I'm not allowed to shop online anymore. I've been
banned by my wife. What happened to the last time
you shopped online? All right, Well, it just happened the
other day. I was watching it was on my phone,
which was on Facebook, okay, and it came up and
it was like, this was this table and on the

(02:03):
table it had video games, like two hundred video games downloaded.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
You can just scroll and go through the real quick
like what's what's side table?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Ping pong table? When like a table just like a
regular coffee table, okay?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Cool?

Speaker 3 (02:17):
And the legs fall down and there's a TV screen
on the table. And you play your regular games chests
or checkers or jin or cards or you know, Mario
Brothers or Impact Man or just basic games out there.
And it said it was like forty five dollars. I go, man,
that's a bargain. I go, man, I should get too.

(02:38):
I go, I go forty say to myself, I go
that does that that sound good? Forty five dollars? Sure?
I mean it's got electronics on it. I'm gonna I
go damn. I use that all the time, man, what
the hell? I go forty five dollars? So I ordered one,
you know, of course, to ask your your address, your
phone number, you know, everything else, my social security number,

(03:01):
probably my blood type, everything like that, and I never
got a confirmation email. And then I saw the same
thing on QVC and it was really like one thousand,
forty nine dollars. So I told my wife, am I
going to get it for forty five? And she goes, no,
you idiot, They're they're just stealing your information. And of

(03:22):
course the next day there was some bogus charges on
my credit card and I had to cancel it. So
I fought for that all the time. I'm like forty
five dollars. I gotta get that.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Man, that's a bargain, you know, I think the biggest
upset of this entire story.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Yeah, you were watching QVC. Yeah, I just happen to
have it on. I haven't got good bargains now.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
I haven't heard those three letters in a row in
twenty years.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
I see. I didn't even know QVC still existed. I
guess I'm behind the times then, huh. I kid you not.
I had no idea that q.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
QVC still existed.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Wow, I guess everybody's on Amazon and that's pretty much it.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I mean yeah, I mean, what hell you call it?
One eight hundred and.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Nine ninety nine to get the free timeline classics? What
else are you doing?

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Rock and rolls in the fifties to sixties? Yeah, and
I'm still getting twelve videotapes for a penny. That's I'm
getting that too, Oh man. Yeah. So I guess I'm
not allowed to because I don't know what's faking what's
real anymore. So everybody under thirties, what the hell is QBC? Yeah? Exactly, CBS.
I can't believe GVC is not a thing anymore. I'll

(04:35):
see something and I'm like, oh, NFL jerseys for ten dollars,
I gotta get some of those, man, that's a bargain.
And of course they're just bogus and they're just trying
to get your information. So yeah, you gotta go to
the reputable dealers. Man. Yeah, I learned that, you know, now,
I had the I have no credit cards anymore. All
my credit cards have been canceled because they've been fraud

(04:57):
and it's just ugly. It's horrible out there, But otherwise
things are good. Lots to get to Bill Krakenberger with
Jordan Is about twenty past hour. Yeah, I'm looky, I
have a debit card. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to
go outside.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Yeah, besides the loud noises, the play was great, said.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Miss exactly exactly. Otherwise things are just great out there,
no doubt about that. All Right, A couple of things
I want to get to as we kind of reset
everything out there. I'm tired of talking about Aaron Rodgers
and the Jets. I think that's uh, you know, that's
just crazy what's going on in that situation. Do I
do think some part of me wants to think of
Aaron Rodgers will be coming back. The Chargers have outed

(05:36):
a field goal. Broncos lead fourteen to ten. As a
Dolphins fan, I want to see the Broncos win for
the Dolphins have a slight chance of making the playoffs.
I know it's slim and none and slim is about
to leave the building, But Broncos are impressive. Bo Nix
is getting better by the week. You just gotta love
the job that's going on there in Denver. Love the
way this.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Team looks right now, you know, and not only that,
it's I know that bo Nix is getting a lot
of the attention, as he should as the rookie quarterback.
That's kind of how it always goes. This defense is
really good. As Marvin Mims drinks it down to the
red zone on a play, Chargers, where was your defense?
But this Denver defense, Arnie, I don't have the raw
numbers in front of me, but if you go back

(06:18):
to the moment they got smacked around by your Miami
Dolphins some seventy eight million points to none that day, Yeah,
that day, they made it. Seriously, they have done it
last year, last year, last year. This has been one
of the best defenses in the NFL. In terms of
opportunistic plays, sacks, turnovers. Pick six is like they got

(06:38):
Patrick Surtain, who's obviously shut down on one side of things.
Riley moss Is are quitting himself really well for a rookie,
even though he's out today. Nick Benito honestly should be
all pro. To me, he's had a better year than
the Miles Garretts of the world. Like, just when you're
just sitting there watching the impact they're having on wins,
This Denver defense is incredible right now, and I think
that is a major part of why this team is

(07:00):
knocking on the door double digit wins. They were five
and a half win lost total in.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Vegas at the start of the season, five and a half.
They're about to double up.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Geees.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Wow, Sean Payton could be Coach of the Year the
way he's going right now.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Listen, I would have had him in there. But you know,
there's a weird thing with Sean Payton. People in the
media don't seem to like.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Him very much.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
I don't really know why, but I'm a Saints fan,
so maybe I just gloss over all the warks.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Yeah, well, we'll see. But he's done a phenomenal job.
Nine to five right now. They're having a good season,
Chargers eight and six right there, holding on to the
I think their last playoff spot. Miami, Cincinnati and the
Colts all two games behind. Not a good race going
on for the wild card in the AFC. I don't

(07:45):
think they're gonna be able to catch and make up
two games in the last three to catch the Chargers
of Martin.

Speaker 4 (07:50):
Well, you know what ruined the wildcard race adding another
wildcard team, Like that's why the wildcard race has pretty
much been net where we're jockeying for seating at this point,
especially in the NFC.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
I like it. I think we need that one more
so we have eight so nobody gets to bye week
and not give it to one team. So it's like that,
I'll get it.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
You're a fan of the Dolphins, has been you know,
do Stone Tablets was the last time y'all won a
playoff game. So that's why, like, please involve more, Please
please let more people in.

Speaker 3 (08:20):
No, I agree, or at least I think they should.
Eight is the best way to do because I think
a bye week gives you such an unfair advantage over
the six other teams. We have to get rid of that.
I never was a fan of the team getting the
bye week. That's why the Patriots ended up winning all
those Super Bowls. They get the bye week, they have
to win two games at home, and then they're in
the Super Bowls. I think that's just absolutely bogus. By

(08:43):
the way, Denver touchdown, they're now up twenty one to
ten over the Chargers. I remember when we used to
laugh at this Denver offense. Now look at them right now.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Yeah, I mean Sean Payton to me, was part of
the reason why I was surprised they had so much
trouble last week against Gus Bradley in that defense. I
think that might've just been a little bit of rookie
nerves with Bownicks. But to me, Sean Payton I watched
the first hand in New Orleans for ten fifteen years.
He's one of the best guys at scheming his play
calling to his talent. Like when you watch I mean,

(09:16):
Denver is not as offensively talented as hell as Miami is,
right when you look at their skilled players, or as
several of the teams in the NFL, Denver is not
that And they got a rookie quarterback. But Sean Payton
has his scheme matches up to his roster in a
way that I think we didn't really have it last year,
which is why, despite Russell Wilson's good statistics, it was

(09:38):
ready to take the biggest cap hit in NFL history
to move off from him. But now he's really found
his groove, and I think when I know when he
finds his groove, he's one of the best play callers
in the sport.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
All Right, we do have two games on Saturday in
the NFL. I'm not sure why the decided to go
with the Saturday games, especially since college football has their
playoff going on in Saturday, the Texans and the Chiefs.
Mahomes looks like he's going to play. I think that's
a mistake. I know you were working doing the updates
at that time. I was watching Red Zone. I saw
the injury also the way he was limping off the field.

(10:12):
No way this guy should be playing on Saturday one.
Because they're playing at home against the Texans. I think
Carson Wentz is more than an adequate backup to go
ahead and lead him to a victory in this game.
So I would go ahead and go with the backup
in this one in the game, and then let him
come back on Christmas against Pittsburgh, give him the extra

(10:35):
days off and see how it happens. I'm not rushing
him back. I'm gonna go with Carson Wentz in this one.
Alnie football players play. He's fine, He'll be fine.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
And honestly, we've seen him take work, like he said
in his press conference, and I don't know.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
I'm just taking what the man said, all right. I
don't think seventeen games is doable anymore for starting quarterbacks,
and soon it's gonna be eight games. You have a
backup quarterback for a reason, Martin, don't be afraid to
play him for one the two games a year, and
I think that's gonna be the norm.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
If you want to have your backup quarterback play enough
snap that it accumulates two games over the spand of
the year. If you want to bring your backup quarterback
up in relief, that's something different like we don't ever
see like obviously in Baseball's a little different caause a
relief pitcher is still I'm not gonna.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Give you that. I'm gonna rest my starters.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
What I'm gonna do exactly, but I don't think that.
I think it's a little overblown here. I think that,
you know, he would be fine. I think he'll be fine.
I think if we see any fall off in his
play on Saturday, it'll be because of a new.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Hit Steelers playing the Ravens. First of all, you are
Lamar Jackson guy, do you're Are you one of those
guys that think he should be MVP over Josh Allen.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
I had to give it to Josh right now, But Lamar,
that's no slight to Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
When Lamar Jackson threw the five touchdowns last week, what
would the odds that he would be the MVP before
Josh Allen took the field and his five touchdown passes.

Speaker 4 (12:02):
But the part of the thing is, and I'm not
trying to take anything away from Lamar Jackson, but he
threw five touchdown passes in a stadium in which they
rented the Bill Boyleer, They rented a plane twice, charted
a private playing Alardy to fly over the stadium and
tell them, hey, Mistermrow, we hate you. Stop to sell
the team. Right That's how bad it is in New

(12:24):
York right now.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Right now, Steelers ten and four surprise. I think they're
one of the surprise teams in the NFL. I can't
believe that they're at you winning this division. I thought
they were gonna have a tough time making the playoffs
before the year started it. I didn't think Russell Wilson
was going to be the answer. I didn't think that.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
I thought this if I looked at the Pittsburgh Steelers
last year, they made the playoffs, combined with what had
to be one of the worst quarterback rooms in the country,
all right, and I thought, okay, well, if you come
back and you have a combination of Justin Fields and
Russell Wilson, that's better than Mitchell Trubisky and whoever the
hell else they had going out there last year in Pittsburgh.
So I thought that they'd be an average team. I

(13:06):
think the heights that they've reached as far as little
like that surprises me. I thought I thought they'd finished
over five hundred. Here's the thing, though, here's the thing.
I don't think that Russ has been playing that great.
What I think has been happening is Russ has unlocked
George Pickens. Because Russ can still throw that deep ball,
and George Pickens is one of those guys you've got
to double cover because he can beat you so often.

(13:29):
Now with Pickens out, you look at the Steelers offense
like people do the Oh look at the fields versus
russ with the Steelers offense Steelers numbers, look at it
when Pickens is on the field versus off the field.
I think that's the biggest thing for the Steelers coming
up with this game this weekend.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Can Justin Fields be a starter somewhere in the NFL
again or is he just going to be a backup?

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Listen, if you had told me two years ago that
Sam Darnold was going to be the prize of next
Roulers free agency, I would have told you, Arnie, you can't.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
You gotta stop drinking at lunch.

Speaker 4 (13:57):
Okay, So like can Justin Yeah, Well, I mean we've
seen it in the right scenario, in the right situation,
will Justin Fields Martin says, No, Well, he's not gonna
get the chance for I don't think he's gonna get
into the right spot. I think he's got a ton
of talent, but there's something about.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Why there's an aging quarterback right in front of him.
I mean, how many more years do you think Russell Wilson.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Has I don't, but I don't think that Justin Fields
is gonna be the answer. He Look, he had what
a solid six game stretch where they were four and
two to win this job, right, And as much as
they talk well about him, as much as they talk
good about him, as much as they talk about Tomlin
and Arthur Arthur Smith talks about him like he's got
two certain quarterbacks, which I respect, But I think that

(14:41):
there's clearly something about his He does not throw with anticipation,
and I think that he does. He throws with so
little anticipation it's gonna be his undoing. His athleticism is
still great, but if he had a little bit more
anticipation with his throws, then he could be that. But
I don't see that coming.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Th other days of pocket passers are going to be
gone in about five years. Those those days are over.
You got to have some athleticism and get outside the
pocket and use your legs. Sure, you can't be there
like a statue like Aaron Rodgers anymore.

Speaker 4 (15:11):
No even Aaron Well, Aaron Rodgers at forty, But yeah,
I think Aaron Rodgers, who's younger, was moving all around.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Yes, yes, I'm talking about it. Yeah, I got you.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
You've got to be able to at least avoid one
pass rusher every play. If you want to be a
starting quarterback, a high level starting quarterback, you got to
be able to avoid. I had the ability to avoid
at least one guy every play. Because the way that
this is now, defensive linemen are that much better than
offensive lineman. You got to figure it out because it's
tough out there.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
You say they're better, I hear all the well they're
injured though. These offensive linemen are injured all the time.
I don't know. I just do we have bad offensive linemen?
I guess in the NFL all years, how bad the
offensive line is in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
I think there's a bigger, a bigger variance. I think
you has, like some of the best players in the
NFL play offensive line. But I think also the guys
who get on the field are worse than like the
worst wide receivers or the worst quarterbacks or the worst
defensive ends. I think the worst linemen are worse than
all of those guys, If that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (16:07):
Who's ready to gamble? Coming up next, Bill Krackenberger will
join us. You listen to them right here on the weekends.
That's coming up next, Martin and Ardi in for Robin
Kelvin right here on Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
All right, good evening, everybody. We're coming to you live
from the tyrack dot com studios. Martin Weiss, Arnie Span,
you're in for Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington. I want
to get right to our next guest. Love following him
on Twitter. You can check them out at Bill Crackmam
Love getting the inside of what's going on in Vegas.
You can also check them out on Sundays from ten

(16:54):
to eight to one p right here on Fox Sports Radio.
It's our buddy Bill Krackenberger. How you doing, Bill?

Speaker 5 (17:00):
Hey, Hey, you guys doing all right. I'm in Vegas.
I'm out of the casino, but I moved to a
little bit more of a quiet spot. Why wouldn't I
be out in the casino Thursday night football? Of course?

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Right, of course, I love it, absolutely love it. Let's
get right to the games first, of all, how much
money is coming in on that indian Ada Notre Dame game.
And I think the play here is just taking indian
adda to win the game out right and get what
what is it like plus two sixty or three to
one with cannas? Can you get on that game?

Speaker 5 (17:25):
You know, you know, it's amazing you say that game
because the sportsbook director here at the casino I'm at
on his way out. He stops me, and there's so
nice to me, he says, hey, in the restaurant or anything.
I said, no, I'm good, I have a comparadi. It's
real nice here. I said, what's going on you guys?
He goes, well, what's going on? He goes, I can't
get any Indianna money. So that's just amazing that that's
the game you pick out of nowhere and the only

(17:46):
one game he mentioned to me that, like you knew,
but no, this is a it's actually more of a
sportsbook here where they have lots of people that are
just chill publics, and that's what they play. They're playing
Notre Dames. They're playing big favors. That that's just the
way it is all here. You know, they're they're they're
playing Baltimore. That was the second biggest risk right now,
you said, everyone's bet in Baltimore. Can't gt oh Pittsburgh money.

(18:06):
But yeah, so but your your money line where I'm
at is the best line in the country plus two
fifty on Indiana on the money line best line in
the country.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Wow, uh correct. Let me ask you what's one of
these teams? Obviously, first time we've had this twelve team playoff,
and so most of the time it's usual suspects, right
when you're thinking about the Georgia, is the Alabama and
so on? Like what the hell is Boise State in
Arizona State doing in the playoffs?

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Like that's normally something we don't see.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
What's one of these teams that are maybe not necessarily
usual suspects that you give a shot to win this
whole thing at like long Garage.

Speaker 5 (18:42):
Well, you know another thing too, is I don't bet
a lot of those future type of bets. So I
don't I don't bet. I don't bet those type of
future bets only because you're betting into that type of
a pool, and when you bet into that type of
a pool, you're you're gonna get bad odds. Compared to
just you know, you can actually money line parlay, a
mechanical moneyline parlay, and you can actually get a better

(19:03):
ROI than the future. However, I have no problem with
someone throwing a peanut or something on a bet where
where where they're not going to really get hurt, they
throw a couple of bucks on it on something. I
have no problem with doing anything like that. But as
far as myself though, I didn't bet anything, so it
be unfair to give you anything, you know, a long

(19:24):
shot on them. But if I have to pick like
one of the teams, though, I'll tell you, though I
believe it or not, I have no problem with betting
favorites in college football, not the NFL. I'm not a NFL.
You could never see me lay double this is on
the game. Never And by the way, I don't lay
anything over three, nothing over three ever, It's just the

(19:44):
way I bet. I've been betting that way for years,
very successful front of a lot of sportsbooks for doing that.
But they, you know, they don't like guys that just
take underdogs and shop lines this and that. But however,
as far as myself though, for in college football, you
can lay it and guess what, you could even lay
double digits. You can you can lay you know, Florida

(20:05):
now versus Laine. I'll use that game Friday. Well, it
opened up twelve, went down to ten, and now it's
pretty solid ten. And you know, I have no problem
with laying the ten points of it on a game
like that or a team like that, But as far
as futures goes, I kind of stay away from that
field because it's twenty five to forty percent hold compared
to a straight bet, which is four and a half percent.
I don't mean to get a mathematical on you guys,

(20:28):
and I don't want to bore people, but I'm here.
I'm here to make money. I bet sports to make money.
My life is my livelihood. So I'm looking to best
something with a lower hold than looking at a future.
But I have no problem betting a long shot and
have a little sum with ten grocery ten ten grocery
dollars something that.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Speaking about double digits, Texas a twelve point favorite over Club,
So I actually think that game is going to be
closer then people are expecting. I like the points bill.
What are you thinking about that game?

Speaker 5 (20:52):
Well, I'll tell you know, believe it or not, some
of the sports books that do with the newer sports
books of the company to the country open that game
eleven and a half and twelve. Well, here in Vegas
one of the sharpest sports books that people pay attention to.
There's only two or three in the whole world. The
one is called Circa here in Vegas because they take
the biggest bet. They take giant bets. Whatever you can

(21:12):
bring to the counter and dump out. I don't care
what's the million bucks, They'll take that kind of money.
That's the kind of sports book it is. They opened
up an eight and a half on that game. They
liked Clemson right away, and they didn't mind taking Texas
bets minus eight and a half, nine and a half
and ten. And I agree with that. And by the way,
that's what I mean. I agree with you Clemson. We

(21:33):
have sports books in this town. Well by living in
this town, they get the advantages of here. I can
look right now, there's twelve, there's twelve and a half,
and there's a thirteam at wet State. So we have
the advantages of having those different lines. And those are
half a points and points mean something. So I'll tell you,
BLUs thirteen sounds like a pretty good bet to me.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
So yeah, Ohio State last time out they lost to Michigan,
who had I thought him Amica Whiskey starting a quarterback.
He couldn't even throw the ball, and you know, Will
Howard wasn't great, big robberie game, and you have the
fallout from that with Ohio State and Ryan. They still
talking about the Michigan game and they're hosting Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
What's your read on that game?

Speaker 5 (22:13):
Game opened up seven, quickly went to seven and a half.
It's still seven and a half at most books. However,
I use the Sharp Books in town. I have a
live on screen which shows you the live option from
every sports book in the world. The first three or
are a place called Chris Circa Pinnacle. They're the ones
that control the market wherever they go. The rest of
them sports books go. All three of them are favoring

(22:34):
the dough up Tennessee. But yet I can't pull the
trigger in that game on Tennessee versus Ohio State. So
I'm probably going to remain neutral on that game. Maybe
Lean Corton is the under a little There could be
more of a grind out game. Than people think under
forty six and a half. There's a couple of forty
sevens out there. But as far as a side, I
do not have a side on that game.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Bill. I thought the Penn State line at eight and
a half that people were going to just fly to
Penn State and bet that thing up to like nine
nine and a half ten. I thought Penn State was
the best pick of the week. What's going on there?

Speaker 5 (23:08):
You know? I have all eight a half out here
in Vegas one, two, three, four, five, six, seventy nineteen eleven.
I have eleven line sets in front of me. Wow,
including bet MGM and ben GM is eight and a
half minus eight and a half minus fifteen Penn State there.
And if anything, even though I didn't bet that game,
is anything I have to lead to the favorite there?
I don't know if is that what you said that

(23:28):
you said?

Speaker 4 (23:28):
You mean yeah State, Yeah, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
It's like it's like it's like I jumped on everything
you like. No, I mean, it's unbelievable, Clemson Penn State.
I mean, I'll give you guys a weird game. Let
me give you an odd game. I know you're not
going to ask me about. Also, Saturday I look to
the more smaller kind of things, like the SCS playoffs,
the South Dakota State playing North Dakota State. North Dakota

(23:52):
State always this particular game always plays pretty tough. I
would have take the dog plus three points no matter what,
no matter what team was. But I get plus three
and a half at MGM, which is my sponsor of
my show on Sunday. Bet MGM plus three and a
half North Dakota State. Oh my god, I really liked
that extra half a point. Couldn't mean something here North
Dakota State or South Dakota State. And you know what,

(24:15):
the line is not as efficient as some of these
bigger schools Penn State, Texas, Oklahoma. I'm in Ohio State.
So the line is not as efficient for these smaller
schools which people don't even look at. Most people don't
even know they're playing the South Dakota Montana State, South
Dakota State, North Dakota State. I look at more of
the smaller schools. I've said that even my showtime show.

(24:36):
I said that I was looking at Maine when everyone
was looking at Notre Dame. This is back a couple
of years ago. But I'm looking at the smaller schools
North Dakota State plus the three and a half bet MGM.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Go ahead, Martin, Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
I wasn't about to ask you about the Bison versus
the jack Rabbits.

Speaker 3 (24:53):
I'm surprised I'd even know.

Speaker 5 (24:54):
But I don't know that. I gotta be honest for you.
I don't know that. I don't know the name of
the schools. I don't need to know, though.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
You have any NFL picks field before you let you
go in the NFL ones.

Speaker 5 (25:08):
NFL this weekend. Well, first 't just tell you. I
have a big sweat. I'm in a fourteen and a
half million dollars full here we now to fifty people.
I'm still yeah, from how many started?

Speaker 3 (25:18):
How many started?

Speaker 5 (25:19):
Fourteen thousand, two hundred people. I have twenty percent of
a team, which the teams that worth about three hundred
thousand dollars each. Now there's only fifty of them, forty
nine actually, So I have a stake and a team
and I need it. Sounds pretty easy. But green Bay
I have our teams. Haven't green Bay? This weeacause I'll

(25:39):
be for green Bay Monday night. Again, it sounds easy,
I know green Bay minus fourteen. All we do is
need no points though to zero points, so I'll be
looking for them. But as far as the as far
as the game goes, I tell you, everyone else seems
like Washington the home team there got some love earlier
in the week. They got all the three and a
half got taken away and Philadelphia money came in. I
agree with the Philadelphia money. I like Philadelphia over Washington. Listen,

(26:04):
I'm not going to say they needs a game for
the division, but they're going to want to play that game.
You know. Then they're on a roll. By the way,
you have two teams maybe going in two different directions.
Washington almost lost out right last week at the last minute.
Philadelphia's been looking really good. Give me Philly on the
money line.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
And by the way, how much was the buying can
I ask for that?

Speaker 5 (26:21):
For that now? Thousand dollars each? I bought him? I
had ten entries, I admitted, yeah, no, I had ten entries.
But but unbelievably down to I'm in on one entry
and we're partners. There's there's a whole group of partners
on this entry. So we just need to win out.
You have to go twenty and oh twenty and oh

(26:42):
no point spread. I mean, what can go wrong? Wow?

Speaker 3 (26:47):
I love Where do you say, well, just share the prize?
How many teams have to be left before you oked up?

Speaker 2 (26:52):
Beho?

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Here last year four teams shared the prize one point
five million each, and then they played through the extra
million dollars, which one guy won, so he won four
point five million. There may be there may be a
split in this pool too. I'm sure you know. Half
the field was eliminated in the first three weeks, so
we didn't expect to even have fifty teams left at

(27:13):
one time.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Of the year.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
By the way, here's a tough thing. It's not only
week sixteen. We're gonna use a week seventeen a they
call it, which wow, it's the two games on Christmas
and the day after, so you have to have one
of those six teams remaining that's its own week and
then Christmas week, so we have to get by four
more weeks here.

Speaker 3 (27:32):
No, I love it all right, Bill, look always a pleasure.
We'll check you out on Sundays. Thanks for stopping. Bye,
good luck tonight, my friend.

Speaker 5 (27:39):
Thank you guys, stick care I love it.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
I'll thank you much. Phil kracken Burger. Everybody, I told
you living in Vegas is the best. Man, I absolutely
love it.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
You know what I mean? I mean, especially if you're
wheeling and dealing like my man crack wins over there. Ah.

Speaker 3 (27:53):
How great is that.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Trying to figure out what happened, let me go to
Rob rob G. What Rob were you watching? Rob G?

Speaker 1 (28:10):
What?

Speaker 5 (28:11):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (28:11):
So you actually had it right? Good on, you stinking genius.
I didn't know you knew the NFL rule book like that.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Man, if you if you can't if you have a
fair catch, you could opt for a free kick, which
meaning the kicker could like go back twenty yards and
just run up and you're not allowed to rush and
you're not allowed to buy the kick. Fair caught a
punt like what happened here? Correct?

Speaker 6 (28:33):
And then there was an interference which led to the penalty.
He's like, all right, then in that case, let me
get this fifty seven yard free kick.

Speaker 4 (28:39):
See what happens.

Speaker 3 (28:40):
There's no time on the clock. I thought it was
a longer kick. Yeah, I seven. Wow, So he nobody
got to rush. What did the defensive teams do they
they said, us for a return just in case he
was short. Yeah, they like an old school return format.
When's the last time you saw a free kick in
the NFL?

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Been a minute long enough to work? I know what
they were doing.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
I don't remember it in the last twenty or thirty years. Yeah. No,
he banged this thing home. What it really is used for?
It if you were ten yards back further instead of
it being well, would you say a forty fifty seven
yard fifty seven? Yep, you could have kicked a sixty
seven to seventy yarder. All your kicker has to do
is take like ten yards back and take his time,

(29:23):
get you know, getting a running start, and give it
a boot with no rush. Well you could actually you
could kick a seventy yarder in that situation.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
I'm about did you see guys kicking seventy yards with
the full defense? You know, so to sea will make
a fifty seven yard It wasn't shocking. It was just
id to see him lined up like that.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
What's going on? Somebody? You have to Yeah, somebody's gonna
have to find that one. The last time we saw
a free kick used in a game, usually you're so
far back in or you know, if you're close enough,
the other team's not really punting and you're carrying for
a fair catch on your own forty or something like that.
I don't see that happening, all right. I'm not sure
why they did that, though I didn't. I didn't see

(30:03):
the situation mean either.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
I was too busy talking to Bill Krackenberger.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Eight and a half million dollars, how about that?

Speaker 4 (30:09):
I know that was that. That's distracting, isn't it. You know,
it's hard to focus when he's got something. He's got
eight million I made.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
When I was single, living out in Vegas. I bet
one hundred dollars on Sergei Breugera to win the French Open.
I don't know why. I think I read it in
the USA today. He was twenty to one the win,
he won, and I won two thousand dollars. I thought
I was the richest man in Vegas.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
He might, oh, depending on everybody else, did you might
have been? I know, as it happens, most you might
have been the richest man in Vegas. But were you
the richest man to leave Vegas?

Speaker 3 (30:46):
That's yeah no, probably not probably not uh no, but
that that that was a great beat. I love it
at twenty to one. You have you've never made a
big bet or anything like that one a lot of money?

Speaker 4 (30:57):
Oh sure? Oh my first? How about this first bet ever?
Was few years ago? I bet the Tennessee Titans to
win the AFC and they got to the NFAFC Championship
Game and lost to Patrick Mahomes and like the legend
was born in that moment. But since then, I've always
been a big game hunter, Like I'm always like I
had golf for MVP at the start of the year,

(31:19):
thinking that he might be able to wiggle his.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Way in there, and that line is Bill's game. I
almost had a.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
Shot, but but no, I love especially two Oh you
know what I really love. Give me two stinky dogs
on an NFL Sunday, Like I'll money line parlay and
get it to ten to one. And it's like, like,
how did the Panthers and the Browns both win? Well,
he knew who had it, Martin Weiss had it.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
That's how I have a parlay right now. The Arizona
Wildcats in basketball to win the national championship, okay, which
they're four and four right now. They're just stinking up
the joint. They're not in the top twenty five anymore.
Parlay to the New York Knicks win the NBA Championship,
and that's pretty much looks good there, that's a done deal.

Speaker 4 (32:03):
Oh yeah, December nineteenth, Yeah, we're locked up.

Speaker 3 (32:08):
That looks good. Nixon Minnesota tonight, Karl Anthony Town's gonna
get a little revenge or what yea?

Speaker 4 (32:14):
So it's a big Dante DiVincenzo on the other side
of this, It's like, you don't want me to know
Dante's better.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Dante's told you to see that preseason game that he
was chirping off for what.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
Yes, he did not seem happy to get traded. You know,
it doesn't seem it was to be fair. Also, Julius
Randall didn't seem happy to be traded either. It's this
trade might be one of those loss for both sides
type thing. Even though corinthly Town is playing well now.
But I depend on Corinthley Town's in the playoffs like
I depend on snow in Los Angeles, Wow, actual winter snow,

(32:48):
like the snow you got out in Vermont, I don't
mean like party.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
All right, we're gonna come back. We'll take a final
look at the games coming up tomorrow and on Saturday
and Sunday we'll give our picks. All that's next right
on Fox Sports Radio.

Quick show today, absolutely just the flu on buy. I
don't know where the time went here. Let's take a
look at some of the games before we say goodbye,
my friend. Yes, sir, and you heard what Tim Brando
said he likes in the end of the winning game outright,

(33:56):
I'm the same way plus two fifty I don't think
there's much value. Prefer a plus two eighty or three
to one, but I like Indiana plus two points. I'll
take the seven over Notre Dame. I think there's gonna
be a great way to start the playoff.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
Oh yeah, I mean especially too, because it kind of
this game when you break it down just from a
avoid the excess and OZ is just kind of the themes
of this It's newcomer, Indiana first, establishment, Notre Dame. It's
all what the College Football Playoff, when you break it down,
is really about. You have these upstarts like SMU going
against some of the more blue blood programs like Penn State,

(34:33):
the team that we always are preseason talking about. We
ain't talking about SMU preseason. We ain't talking about Indiana
preseason like that. That's why this thing is so fascinating.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
I think the ratings are gonna be tremendous on that game.
SMU Penn State is you heard me say before, I
love Penn State. Lay in the eight and a half.
I think finally they get a grip of things. SMU
is a good team, They're not in Penn State's class, though.
Penn State should win this one by about seventeen points.
I don't disagree with you, but I know this.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
I've watched enough Big Ten football to know that there's
one thing I don't trust is James Franklin in big game.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
That's for sure.

Speaker 4 (35:08):
Ye Look, I don't know how I was gonna seck out,
but I know I don't trust James Franklin as far
as I can throw them.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
All Right, Clemson Texas. You heard me say twelve points
Texas favored by, which is way too many. All respect
for Texas, but they have lost two games, that last
one against Georgia. I think Clemson keeps it close to me,
not winning the game, even if they're down by like seventeen.
Maybe they get a back door cover. I'll take Clemson

(35:36):
the points in this one.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
I like Clemson to keep it close as well, also too,
because I think that Texas might get a little, a
little turtleshellish if they do keep it close and play
a little tight to the vest. We've seen Sark in
that Georgia game, the first one get a little close
to the vest and like make the moves swapping Quinn
for Arch there. I don't know how that dynamic is
gonna play. Feels like Arch is the better quarterback, but

(36:00):
Quinn's been there longer, so that's probably you know, it
would be nice if that problem wasn't there for them,
But I think it's more of a problem than people
let on, and it'll be interesting to see if they
run into some adversity there.

Speaker 3 (36:12):
I'm with the dog, so I'll finish it out with Tennessee.
I'm going to take the seven and a half against
Ohio State, who feels like they have more pressure on
them than just about any team in this tournament. I'm
taking the points in this one.

Speaker 4 (36:22):
Martin, I'm taking the points too. You can't convince me
that the idea of winning national championship or your job
is in jeopardy. Is a good working environment, Martin.

Speaker 3 (36:32):
Thank you so much for hanging out. Would be my friend.
It was a quick show.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
Today, Yes, sir, had a blast.

Speaker 3 (36:37):
We'll be together next week, I believe, on the twenty
sixth day after Christmas. I want to thank Rob g
producing the show, our buddy Alex Tyshirt, our technical producer.
