(01:40):
got a very interesting story and I want people to
listen very carefully. I want you to jump in on
this update. I wanted to update the game, but nothing's happened.
It's zero zero with a twenty eight left in yea
in the first half and the Eagles have eighty five

(02:01):
yards and the Packers forty eight? Is that total in
the game, So not much going on. I know everybody
says NFL football everything's great.

Speaker 5 (02:12):
No, I mean tonight Jordan Loved doing his best justin
Fields impersonation has one net passing yard right now. But
thankfully for him, Jalen Hurts has a turnover and that's
why at zero zero.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Yes, so there we go.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
But Rob g there might be a turnover in the
national football when it comes to name in the football stadium.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
If you've been paying attention over the weekend, not to
that interview that we saw on Fox Television with President Trump,
where first he was boo during introductions and then did
the loudly did a ten minute interview where it was
felt like a press release on videos.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
You know, not much of a pushback, which is fine.
I guess no, what are you gonna do?

Speaker 4 (02:50):
Yeah, they're afraid to death, my god, to challenge or
say anything. I would just be like if I was
in there, I just put tape on my mouth this way.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
So the one thing that viewers were upset about, Obviously
the politics is one thing. But one thing that a
lot of viewers were set about with that Fox Television
interview with President Trump at halftime of the Commander's Lions
game is not once did they address the elephant in
the room. And that is a report that came out
on Saturday that President Trump and the White House have
let it be known to the Washington Commanders football franchise

(03:23):
that they would like their new stadium to be named
after President Donald Trump. Now, this is not reported. This
is all speculation. Make that very clear, which.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Is which would not surprise me at all.

Speaker 5 (03:36):
The speculation is because you recall about a year ago
when this stadium was approved, that President Trump publicly threatened
pulling funding to the stadium because a lot of the
fundings come from tax mayors unless they did something. And
now the speculation against speculation not reporting, is that this

(03:56):
is President's Trump's request in order to facility to take
the public funding to Washington, they would have to then
name the stadium after him.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
And I say, no, way, no, how should the Washington
commanders cave in to the President. And this is like
the whole idea of it is ludicrous to me. First
of all, if I was a Washington commander's fan and
I found out that they caved into the President to

(04:30):
get the stadium and had to put his name, I
would give up my fandom.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
I really would.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
I I'm on principal, I'm you know this. I'll be
on principal and I'll just be like, it's fine, you
could have it. Other people can go and enjoy it,
do whatever they want. I'm just not going to be
a part of it. If you're pressured into putting somebody's
name on a stadium number two, it just isn't done,
and not from someone who's so divisive like I just

(04:58):
you would have to show me like a situation maybe
twenty years from now he's passed on, they name stuff
after people. When I fly in to JFK, I don't go,
oh God, I gotta go into this airport.

Speaker 3 (05:11):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Like you, I don't have those kind of feelings. I
just don't think he's that kind of president where you're
going to feel comfortable or good about it, because he's divisive.
We talk about their people who are divisive. Lebron James
people is divisive. So a lot of people love Lebron James.
A lot of people can't stand Lebron. Say there are
people divisive. I look at Trump as one of those

(05:36):
people who's divisive. Also, if you remember, how did they
go from the Commanders from the Redskins? It wasn't because
what was his name? I almost forgot his name, Daniel Snyder.
I was gonna say Dan Gilbert. That's the Cavaliers. Daniel
Schneider said he would never change the name over his

(06:00):
dead body, and then FedEx Coca Cola and somebody else said, okay,
well we're pulling our advertising dollars.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
And that happened very quickly, did it not? Okay?

Speaker 4 (06:11):
Yeah, So you could also alienate advertisers and people who
normally would be invested or put money into your franchise
or whatever. So it's about a divisive person. That's the
issue with it, not because he's president, not because he's

(06:34):
conservative or any of those things. There are conservative buildings
and airports named after plenty of people flying to George
Bush Airport in Houston, don't you.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Yes, I don't fly.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
In and go, oh my god, I have to go
here or not. That's right, you don't. I don't think
that Trump is the same as some of those people
who had things named after them. I just think I
think it would send a terrible message.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
I would not.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
No, I would give up my fandom if I felt
my team caved. It's almost like the Jimmy kimmelton we
saw the ABC when they took them off the air.
I mean they some people celebrated for a hot minute,
and then a lot of people canceled their subscriptions. A
lot of people felt like, we can't have that. Like
what We're starting to center people and and and pull

(07:23):
them off the air if they say something that you
don't like, that's not where you want to be. And
I think this would be a mistake. And I hope
that the Washington commanders say, you know, we'll we'll do it.
You know, we're not gonna do it, and we'll do
whatever we can to get the funding if we even
have to wait and and you know, and move on
from them.

Speaker 6 (07:43):
One the thing you just said about the divisive part
of it is you just said, Daniel Snyder, what's saying
we're not gonna cave and change the name they did it?

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Like that's just part of That's just part.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
That's part of it, right, Like the divisive portion of
it is, Yes, we here, it's skewed in different directions
and there's no like middle ground on any of it, right,
So whatever way you go, it's going to be bad
for some side.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
So this is why I don't I don't look at it.
I'm serious.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
If his name is not on it, I don't think
his people or maga whatever you want to call him
are going to be like, oh, I'm not going to
go to the game because his name is not on it.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Yeah, but he's putting his bid in to do that.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
So no, he's not making a public because he knows
he does'ntyone want to be embarrassed that they're not going
to do it. Like that's good, That's what I'm saying that, right,
g it hasn't been reported that that's fact, but that's confed'
it just sources. So we could always say I never
asked for my name to be on the stadium or whatever,

(08:46):
and his and his followers of people won't feel a
certain way.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
But but he's been open to say that he wanted
the commanders to change change it back to the Redskins.
So like he's been in good favor with some of
that some of that area, right in some of that fandom.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
So I don't, I don't know. I wouldn't. I wouldn't
say it's it's not gonna happen, right, I wouldn't. I
don't believe it's gonna happen. I really don't.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
It's should it's You would have to give me another
situation where somebody who was so divisive, seriously like and
a and a and a thing that.

Speaker 3 (09:18):
You heard the booze yesterday. That's Washington, d C. I'm
just I get it.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
But you you said another person that device of Lebron, Right,
he's gonna get a statue, does that.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
But he plays for a certain team, and people who
are with that team will want a championship feel a
certain you know what I'm saying, of course, but also
when he first came to l A.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Rob G.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
Did they not spray paint the murles? Okay, so they did,
That's what That's what I'm talking about.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
The device. I just I just think this is weird
to me.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
And if I'm the owner of the Commanders, I'm just
I just I'm not.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
We're going to name it after.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
We're going to take corporate money and name it after
FedEx or American Express or whatever that's revenue.

Speaker 3 (10:06):
We're not. We don't. They don't put names on stadiums anymore.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
I mean no, No, it was r f K for
a while, right until somebody can't check what you got.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
The question ultimately comes down to whether they do it.
That's down the road. If the speculation is accurate that
they can't even get the stadium built without naming it
after him, does that change the calculus? No, I won't,
because the owner is not going to pay out of
his own post.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
I will not be strong armed. You know what we
do know this is me.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
You got three more years to be probably we'll wait,
we'll we'll start the stadium in three years.

Speaker 6 (10:47):
No, that's a lot lost money they're doing. They are
not waiting three years to get that stadium. What we
could do is revenue. No, what we could do is
I'm just saying, there's no way. It's a private owned business.
This ain't the state run or state I get it.

Speaker 4 (11:04):
But this also benefits the city, right or the district
of Columbia.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
No, it's gonna benefit the community. You just gotta give us.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
One exactly all that infrastructure. This is what Look at
the teams that didn't that didn't do it like you
could say, and push back and using taxpayer money and
all that until your team packs up and leaves and
then you see that you know the economic realities of it.
I just wouldn't I'm just telling you I wouldn't do it.

(11:35):
I would just have to figure out a different way
to get it done. And then if I have to
go back on it or then, uh, you know, pay
back people who put up the money or whatever it is,
and find another way to do the financing and then
you own it outright, rather than the city being involved
or the district.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
You know, there's another way of it.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
These people are really really rich and I'm not I'm
not gonna put a a devisive name on a stadium
that I might lose revenue for years to come because
people won't come or embrace it, or people won't advertise
with me or won't There's no reason to put a
divisive figure on that stage.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
That that word you keep saying a divisive part of it.
Everybody is divisive on something. No, no, no, yes they are no, no, no, no.
Everybody's device not on I don't know, rob I'm telling
you everybody's devisive on something. So obviously this is a
polarizing one. But I'm just saying everything that you look
at you that's out there.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Because did you hear the booze on Sunday?

Speaker 6 (12:37):
I couldn't. I was working out. I ain't hear no boos.
So I was in there were they were pretty loud.
There was your fan base inside. Those aren't piped in
from elsewhere. Those are that's your fan base. Who booed
the president when he was spoke at This was at
halftime when they were swearing in some new like right,

(12:58):
what was it, rob G. They were swearing that I
don't know.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
Like some sort of military It was a veterans day,
you know, not celebration, but some kind of reference.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
And it was it was bad. I couldn't I couldn't
hear it.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
Yeah, it was a loud chorus of booze and like
a really small smattering of che Yes, that's what this
is your fair face.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Now, if you went down in Alabama and at some
football stadium and everybody cheered, then.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
You you'd have no problem. Right, Yeah, you're trying to
get it in Washington, d C. Do you know that's
Chocolate City? Chocolate City, that's right, all right?

Speaker 4 (13:29):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox Where are you?
Would the Commanders regret naming their new stadium after President Trump?

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Rough?

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Yeah? Oh no, all right? Eight seven seven ninety nine
on Fox. I'm a woman. Here we are.

Speaker 4 (15:37):
We're asking about the Commanders the scuttle Butts. Trump wants
their new stadium to be named after him. I think
he's too divisive of a figure for the Commanders to
even entertain that. Carrie says that some of his people
will be upset. Yeah, and if it's not that way,

(15:57):
but I just can't see it. Where are you eight
seven seven ninety nine on Five, I'm gonna go to
the call us. We go to Daniel from Michigan. You're
on with the couple. Man, how are you pretty good?

Speaker 7 (16:07):
How are you guys doing right?

Speaker 8 (16:09):
How are you doing fantastic? I mean, say what you
want about Trump, but booing during the Veterans Day address
is honestly just disgusting. I mean, do you have you
no respect for what he's saying? I mean, personally, I
think he's two decisive a figure to put on the
name of the stadium. But I can't believe they booed
during the Veteran's Day address.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
That's all, okay, that's fair.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
I mean, that's it tells you how divisive he is
that even for something like that they did, they didn't
find the peace, to be able to be like, Okay,
well let's let's let him do this.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
That's our world, or Rob.

Speaker 6 (16:42):
That's why I'm I'm not pouring into the to the
divisive part of it. I'm not gonna be another extra
on top of that. So let's go on. Let's move
on to Brian from Misigan. You're own with the couple. Man,
how are you? Hey?

Speaker 9 (16:54):
What's going on? Fellas?

Speaker 3 (16:55):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (16:56):
Brian?

Speaker 3 (16:56):
How are you? Bud?

Speaker 9 (16:57):
I'm doing all right? So I got a simple fix
to this problem.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Rob.

Speaker 9 (17:02):
You said, you know you would wait for three years
and then you fill your stadium. I mean, Daniel Snyder's
gonna get that check one way or another.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
Well, he's not the owner anymore. Remember that he's not
the name.

Speaker 9 (17:13):
Oh yeah, well either way, why not just get the
check and say, hey, I'll just change the name to
what I want for years when he's gone, you know,
I mean.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
Yeah, but but you still would. But here's the problem, Brian.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
You would You would have caves and people would have
like like the idea that this was even called the stadium.
You might lose people fans, and you might lose advertisers
who say, you know what, I don't want to be
a part of this organization. I hear what you're saying,
but I.

Speaker 9 (17:41):
Think give him a freak colgana hot dog man, he'll
be all right. Hey, thanks fellas, all.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Right, appreciate it.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
All right, we got sun from Sacramento. You own with
the joys Sean.

Speaker 7 (17:55):
Yeah, from another mother cousin carrier or man, what a
ballex like you baby? Real quick on this one. Man, Hey,
I'm still booing President Trump all the way from over
here in Sacramento. Veterans Day or not. We're talking about
the fame guys who constantly disrespects our veterans left right.

(18:17):
But I'm not gonna go there. And the other thing
I want to remind everybody of is the people go
into those games are ex federal workers that we helped
get rid of with this new regime. So don't be
surprised if he's getting booed in his own hometown for
what his worth. And to me, I wouldn't do it.
I'm with you, no way, no how am I still
coming to the pressure. As matter of fact, I'm flipping
the pressure on him, and I'm threatening to move my

(18:39):
situation out of DC. I'm threatening to move to Sacramento.
I'm threatened to move to Virginia. I'm taking the game
somewhere where they're gonna appreciate me. And like you said,
wait three more years, and Gavin new some pay for everything,
just like he's still paying for this high speed light
rail that supposed to be coming up in California at most,
and at most take it and renamed the press boxer

(19:01):
Johnald J. Trump trust Box, just like Uncle Rob, like manual.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
There you got it. I just I don't see it happening.
I mean I don't even think.

Speaker 6 (19:19):
I mean, this is just a conversation and I don't
see it happen anyway. But again it's like, yeah, I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
I just think like like' like and I mentioned it JFK.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
Yeah, Uh you know the airport uh Bush.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Out in Houston.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
You know, things are named after presidents and whatnot or
schools or stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
There are plenty of places.

Speaker 4 (19:41):
I just I in the Deep South, I think there's
plenty of places that would want to put Trump's name
on something.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
I just don't in Washington, d C. I just don't
see that. You just said it.

Speaker 6 (19:53):
But like, how many of those controversial figures are on
statues and schools and airports like.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Yeah, that's always been that way.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Yeah, but not on a venue of that. Do you
know what a statue is different? Even a school journalist,
you know, like business school.

Speaker 3 (20:11):
To South. I'm just saying I'm from there.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
You know how many statues got pulled down in twenty twenty? Okay,
so yes, I'm just saying, I mean they did.

Speaker 3 (20:21):
Ay they ain't pay no money though, Rob, they also
didn't pay.

Speaker 4 (20:24):
Money, redesigned everything down there.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
You know that. H So, all that's funny, it is
what it.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
Is, all right, Coming up, we're gonna talk about your guy,
Matthew Stafford.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
Is that your guy? I like Matthew Took. No, you don't.
I watched him this whole career. I think that's probably
why you think it's playing. Well, we'll get into it.

Speaker 4 (20:49):
Yeah, we'll talk about that and much more. Rob's in
love with Matthew Stafford and what.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
You call him Matthew stat stat stat pat Patford.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
That was fifteen years of his career.

Speaker 4 (21:00):
Yeah, he's patting stats now yeah, okay, all right, but
first let's get you caught up with mister Steve de Sega.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in

Speaker 4 (21:19):
All right, thank you, Steve, appreciate it. It is the
odd couple, Rob Parker, Kerry Rhodes and for kelvin Washington,
right here on Fox Sports Radio on a Magic City Monday.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
And that's right.

Speaker 4 (21:32):
For over forty years, ty rak has been helping customers

Ship fast and free back by free Road has a

(21:54):
tomorrow or later tomorrow tomorrow, Okay.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
Sticking stock? Why not today with me? Alex? All roads
lead to carry very nice.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
But let's go here, Rob G Matthew Stafford, who is
on a tear offensively, and the Rams are carry. That
was your pick for the Super Bowl? Right the Rams
and against who? Okay, Rams and Ravens. He still feels
good about that. It blew out the forty nine ers

(22:26):
and Rob G here comes to the calls for Matthew
Stafford to be MVP.

Speaker 5 (22:31):
Hey, we were on this on Friday. You just didn't
want to believe it. Rob the anonymous NFL executive, spoke
to Albert Brier on Friday. They did the mead season
NFL Awards, and they didn't pick Josh Allen. They didn't
pick Jonathan Taylor in a landslide victory. It was Matthew
freaking Stafford. And he followed that up by sa nay,
I got pressure on me. I better ball out here

(22:52):
on Sunday, divisional matchup on the road, and of course
he did right. He threw for another four touchdowns in
the last three games. Matthews mean sixty eight percent of
his passes seven and forty three yards, thirteen touchdowns, zero
picks during that stretch. The Rams are averaging thirty seven
points per game in his last six games. Stat Patford

(23:14):
is patting stats.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Like a mother effort.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
Twenty touchdowns, zero picks, and it's a big reason why
a lot of people, including the anonymous NFL executives, believe
he right now is the front runner to an NFL MVP.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Oh yeah, what you got? What you got?

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Robbed, We'll we'll wait and see it's the first half,
in the second half, and I just know we are
right in the second half of the season. Well, he's
still got nine games to blow it, and we'll see
as the games get better and whatnot. We saw last year.
Do you remember this the end of the season. Last
year they struggled offensively big time. And we'll see how

(23:52):
how long it lasts. Because when you have such a
numbers and you put up numbers, if he has a
bad two with three interception game, they'll be like, oh,
there you go, you know like that, like it's so
clean and so many touchdowns and know that you could
easily fall back.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Now here's the kicker.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
I think Lamar could win it if they do run
the table and he's a big part of that in
the numbers of course, and they win the division and
all that. Hey, they were down, they were one.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
What they start.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Right and they run the table and win it and
he's a big part of that. So I don't think
it's a locked by any stretch of the imagination. And
there's a long way to go, and who knows, and
maybe maybe this is the year they do give it
to a running back when they realize you have to
give it to matt Stafford.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Rob g.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
Anybody but Matthew Stafford winning. He's like a running back
and winning out. Earlier, he was like, nobody's gonna win it.
Outside of the court to say.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
What maybe they might decide like wait a minute, Okay,
well this will be the year that we changed that thinking.

Speaker 6 (24:55):
No, man, Matthew Stafford's playing great and like I said,
it was my pick in the preseason for them to
be the NFC champion and represent the NFC in the
Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (25:04):
They're not disappointing.

Speaker 6 (25:05):
They have some some weird losses early on, but right
now they're humming. And when you when you look at
teams that have like an offensive, the offensive arsenal that
they have in place right now, I mean they have
I think probably the If they're not the number one
rated skill position offense in the league, they're right there

(25:26):
in the top two or three. So I don't see
him slowing down unless there's an injury or something. But
we want to we don't want that, want to put
that out there. But man, they're they're humming, and Matthew
Stafford looks the best I've seen him probably in his career.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because he's not throwing it to the
other tiers like we've seen. And you got to remember
I was there of his very first game. I watched
his whole career. Yeah uh, he followed me to Los Angeles.
You know what I'm saying, like, like that's he followed.
He followed you to LA to prove you wrong.

Speaker 3 (25:54):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, he didn't prove me. It was.
It was real close. What's that guy's name? So you're
gonna bring him up? This often better he's getting bring
him up too, Yeah a sport, rob G. What team
is he on? He's not on the team. No, he's
out of the league.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
He dropped that pick and immediately was cutting in the
off season. He was cutting that next off and they
never got back in the league after. Man, that's that's tough.

Speaker 6 (26:21):
And they always say, hey, dbs can't drop money, dude
not it ain't even just money, like like that changed
a lot of people, you know what I mean, Like
you know, like it's one of those moments.

Speaker 4 (26:32):
I mean, it's it's crazy. But yeah, so far, he's
playing well enough that he's gonna be in consideration.

Speaker 3 (26:41):
Rob say he's playing great right now.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
I'm not say he's playing great right now, he can't
say it, Rob, that's saying in your life, say Matthew
Stafford's playing.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
If you're not gonna say that, at least give Matthew
Stafford credit for this. You don't care about the twenty
touchdown no picks in six games, first quarterback ever to
do that, But this is a stat that know you're
gonna appreciate with that win yesterday, Matthew Stafford finally after
seventeen seasons is five hundred record as a quarterback.

Speaker 4 (27:12):
There you go, and they want to put him in
the Hall of Fame, right, unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
Oh Roe fifteen in one nbelieving.

Speaker 6 (27:22):
Yeah, he also just he just joined the four hundred
touchdown touchdown club passing club.

Speaker 4 (27:26):
Well, but here's the only issue that I have, and
it's not sour greats, just the reality of it that
the bulk the twelve or thirteen years you played in
Detroit were all just stats that were padded. They didn't
win any games, they didn't win any playoff games. And
every time people say he didn't have any players and
Dominican Sue was on that team, Calvin Johnson was on

(27:47):
that team. Nick Fairley, you remember Nick fair course, really
Golden Tate, Like you can't say nobody played there, or
they didn't, and they had some good seasons with the
chance to win the division in the last game and
always lost to the Packers. Or I covered all those
games and during a bulk of his career, and you

(28:09):
could go look it up for yourself. The lines were
down twenty one nothing in the first quarter, like I
don't know how many times in games I started writing
my column in the first quarter like okay, and they'd
always come back because teams defenses with soften up. We
don't need to play you tight, throw the ball in
front of you and let you take a long time

(28:30):
to have a drive. Right carry you know that you
played in that kind of stuff, right of course, you
just played against him, played against them. Yeah, back in
those days when the lines were really bad and they lost.
It's unbelievable. I think they lost. We're gonna get the
right number twenty three in a row on the road.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Then they won a game and then lost another like
twenty five.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Like it's almost in the NFL, you know what I mean,
when the league is set up for you to be.

Speaker 3 (29:03):
Able to bounce back. They lost.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
It was incredible and I covered so many of those games.
So for me, when I look at Matthew Stafford, that's
what's burned into.

Speaker 6 (29:14):
My I see that because I'm really upset. You will
not say he's playing great right now. I want to
he's doing well, all right, that's that's it. Well, not great,
he's doing that. That's d Come on, man, you got
to get him to say great. And once you get
him to say it, one day. I need that tape.
And he's nothing but consistent. He's consistent with it, for sure.

(29:35):
You carry to be honest.

Speaker 5 (29:36):
You should be happy he even did this segment because
he was either this or an Aaron Rodgers bash session,
and he definitely wanted to do that.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
I'm not doing that. He looked like an old man.
He looked so bad last night, and I'm rob gah,
but like, we ain't gonna do nine minutes on a
rob that right now.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
He was ready. We ain't doing that. We ain't doing
the baseball betting scandal. No, that goes against my narrative. No,
what the baseball scandal. We'll get to that tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
Tomorrow, tomorrow, we're going to get into that. I mean,
this is the way of pro sports. It's anybody thinks
that this is going away and they can't figure out
how a guy making twenty six million dollars or whatever
he was making class A up lose on a Hall
of fame. Remember he was untouchable two years ago. Untouchable. Uh,

(30:23):
And you asked yourself, you know why he would do
what he did for how much? Was it twenty six
thousand or something like? Was that it forty thousand? Like
like you say, you're making twenty.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
Six million, Well that's how much he made.

Speaker 5 (30:38):
The the group made a lot more money, right, but
you know what I mean what what his cut was?

Speaker 3 (30:42):
So he had he had a cut, yea. What he
looked at it like all I gotta do is throw
a ball? And what was the play? Was it? Andy?

Speaker 5 (30:53):
Andy Pies swinging at one that was nine inches out
of the strike zone.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
He's doing it for everybody.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
He swung at a really bad pitch. Should have been
a ball. They lost money because they bet that it
would be a ball. He swung at it. And then
they went and they texted each other that that was
how they they have the group text.

Speaker 6 (31:10):
So you mean it was like that precise and like
the I'm gonna throw a ball on this one.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
Yeah, no, that that's that's how they do the prop
bets first pitch of the fourth inning or strike.

Speaker 3 (31:20):
Yes, that's why. That's why. Car.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
You want a quick summary of what happened, I give
you like a five hour little Yeah. So the two guys, right,
Class A is the an Ortiz or the two Yes, yeah,
they've been doing it for about three years. Class was
at least his group made about four hundred grand doing it. Now,
some of it money, but a big chunk of it went.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Back to the d R.

Speaker 5 (31:41):
So maybe that was like the greater good that they could,
you know, send that money, right.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:46):
He would call these guys on the phone during games
to confrol, this is what I'm gonna do.

Speaker 3 (31:52):
Make sure you pound the under or or whatever it is. Right, Oh,
I didn't know that.

Speaker 5 (31:56):
Now Ortiz his credit only got involved later, and it
was right before he got caught, so he has less
of a of a history there.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
He's still in trouble. And uh, they were.

Speaker 5 (32:05):
Parlaying pitch velocity and pitch going for a ball. Hence
white guys were like a foot and a half off
the place, like we are not messing this one up.
It's gonna be ninety five plus and off the place.
So you had to parlay the way there, speed and everything.
That's what they know. That's insane, Yes's.

Speaker 4 (32:23):
And that that sets you up for why people are
doing It's the same thing with the prop We've said
it on the show.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Got to end the prop bet. You got it, all right?

Speaker 4 (32:32):
We know this seven is over under our number of three's.
I'm gonna tell you I can. I can dictate that.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
I'm gonna get five in the first quarter and then.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
Nothing, nothing after that. I'm gonna step in every time
at the three point line. I'm gonna step on the line.
I could do all that, and nobody was saying anything, right,
all I got a better shot. I took a step in.
You can't be mad at me. I thought it was
a better shot than three point Kerry.

Speaker 5 (32:55):
You know what's gonna be funny is robbing on this
anti prop bet crusade for you know a couple of months.
Wait till price Pix calls back about Rob You want
to be a sponsor this upcoming basketball rock Yeah, I
give you.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Some sub some bed that I like. It's gonna be
suckle proper Saturday whatever.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
All right eight seven, So I'm not doing that eight seven,
seven ninety nine on five. It's last call. Time you're
on the odd couple. Hey, get to it. You know
what you need to do, stick and stay.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
For another great release like this from the US of A.
And then I saw his toss. I'm a believer and
not a trace. I'm down in my mind. I'm in
mom with Caleb. I'm a believer. I couldn't leave him

(33:45):
if I try, he added to Caleb in there.

Rob Parker Kerry Rhoades wrapping this bad boy.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Yup, you got a tissue for me, that's right.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Aches and pains can sneak in during the holiday hustle
and bustle. Kerry gotta go do some Christmas shopping pretty soon.
Yeah man, it's coming really quickly.

Speaker 3 (34:20):
Can help you. Yay, that's right.

Speaker 4 (34:22):
I forget the pain and make happy memories instead, which
just one pillar leave provides up to twelve hours of
body paying leave so that you can keep moving. Use
as director. Rob g really quickly. I want you to
jump in here because I'm still waiting for Lincoln Riley
to win a big game at USC. But what he
did was so bush this past weekend, I thought like

(34:45):
it was beneath USC.

Speaker 5 (34:47):
I really did. I'm so excited. Let me set this up,
Rob because you never let me say topics. So this
is really what yes, USC is underfire. In fact, the
Big Ten says they should have been penalized.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
For what they do have. Carrie doesn't even know yet.

Speaker 5 (35:03):
They had their third string quarterback take the field wearing
number eighty.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Number eighty is the number that their punter normally wears. Carrie.

Speaker 5 (35:11):
The only problem is in USC's online depth chart, he's
listed as number seven.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
So they were finaggling it a little bit. They were.

Speaker 5 (35:23):
Northwestern coach, to their credit, said hey, legally they did
submit a roster that shows him as number eighty in
the no. No, but anybody who watched the game, and
obviously the Big Ten agrees that it was a little
bit of cheating going on.

Speaker 4 (35:37):
It was just it's not necessary against Northwestern and home.

Speaker 3 (35:41):
Is that what you really have to do? You know
what I mean?

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Like like it, you can't have two people's same number right,
who's playing the same position.

Speaker 3 (35:52):
No, okay, that that's the issue.

Speaker 4 (35:55):
And he went in as if he was a punter,
but he was a quarter right, rob g.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
That's the issue. That is the issue, that really is
the issue.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
According to the statement, if a foul was identified with
number eighty talking about the punter enter the game as
a punter the big then it would have been assessed
as a fifteen yard penalty from the previous spot. But
because they didn't know that it was the backup quarterback,
nothing ever happened.

Speaker 6 (36:21):
Right, he's stretching the rules as far as why don't
this is my issue?

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Seriously, Lincoln, really and if you're going to do that,
should you save it for the uh? Yes, the National
championship game. Oh wait a minute, you're not playing in
that game? Oh Ohio State. Oh wait a minute, you're
not playing in that game? Like that's where you want
to unveer against Northwestern at home in a blowout?

Speaker 3 (36:47):
The Northwestern get blowed out? Is that what you need
to do? Chicanery? Trickery, that's a little weird. The time
is a little weird. It's love. Yeah, that's bad.

Speaker 5 (36:56):
In fairness, it was tied when they did that in
the game, then seventeen.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
They want to win it big. That's what. Come on, man,
they got the momentum after they tricked them. I'll trick
them off, all right, I mean, what is that? Here
we go, Alex, No, Alex, can you just stop? Tell him? Alex?
Tell him again?

Speaker 4 (37:19):
Tight pants, tighter pants, the cargo shorts, cargo shorts, the
cargo short, Cherry.
