in case you weren't able to get in earlier, Let's
update you on a couple of things here.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
So there you go. One to one in the top
of the tenth Here.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
In Los Angeles, Dodgers and Phillies, two outs, nobody on
for the Phills, and in the football game, the Eagles
are in the red zone ready to score. Here thirteen
to ten Giants so far and what was that second
and one?
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Yeah, we're still out there thirty one fall start. That
was crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yeah, But the Eagles are knocking on the door with
a chance to score, to go up seventeen to thirteen
if they can score and get an extra point.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Speaking of score, I think if the Phillies don't get
it here, I think the Dodgers with why is that?
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Why is that?
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Just to feel like the Dodgers bad having come alive
and there's too too many capable bats and in a
position you know, they just I just feel like this
is it if you're the f And I think the
Phillies feel like that too, Like you gotta that stadium rocking.
Somebody's due. I don't know the order. Who's up now?
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Okay, So if they don't win, say the Phillies win,
how would you feel going going the other way?
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Going home? Is gonna going to Philly? Going back to Philly?
Speaker 1 (02:26):
I'm saying, especially being up to all you won the
first two games. That would be a big blow, right,
it would be a big blow. So Dodgers coming up
bottom of the tenth and.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
Look at that there you go, show hey, Mookie taoskar
and that. If that ain't if that doesn't get it done,
then na get this game. Wouldn't mean to be with
and show hey, that's what I'm saying. He been No
hey right now, no hat, no tany this is your moment.
No hey, no Tony, come on man, what do we
have here? You sit next to him every day? Show hey.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
So they didn't get in. It's fourth down nine and
they did touch push too. That's interesting. The touch push
always works. Fourth and inches.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
They're getting it. Had the touch push. I mean, that's
a big dude to try to block it up. But yeah,
he're gonna get the touch push.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
Now.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Remember they've been getting creative with the touch bus. They had,
you know, did a couple of little fake fakes with it.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I would freak it. Remember they did the wide open
on you got on this on the ends. Yeah, they've
done a couple of little things with it. That's listen.
That is the best play they run.
Speaker 4 (03:25):
That is the Kareem ap dual skyhook of football plays.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Do a little conspiracy theory. Okay, they did that fake
the Saquan a couple of weeks ago to a score touchdown.
What if they do the same play but to a J.
Brownie You have a touchdown, make him feel good?
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Why not as long as the touchdown?
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Now, they're not doing it because it's gonna be like
Marshaan Lynch in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
No, he can't beat the m v P. He can't be.
The reasons can get it.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Ain't Nobody sits there and think about, oh, we don't
want more Seawan to do it because he's gonna be
the m v P.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Come on, stop, that was just a bonehead. No, that's
stupid that.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
There's no way Pete Carroll sitting at that moment, sitting
there going we don't want him to be the l.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
At the time. It's a dumb call. It's a dumb call.
Who just ran, mind.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
You land at the two yard that but that doesn't
make it that the idea of the notion that you
don't want somebody.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
To be the m v P, it's just not that
that never took place.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
A bone at the two, No, but let's just yeah
and lets you know what we should do. No, you
can just say it's a bad call, but the people passed.
It's dumb and I wouldn't do this. I wouldn't do
this is my moment.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
One shining moment man Russell Wilson, one of his I
know he wanted his one shining moment.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
You just go, Hi.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
The Patriots are backing up and they're like, man, just
getting in.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
So we at least get twenty seconds.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Well, they also caught the interception, so they weren't totally
back and we ain't.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Heard from him since, but he made a great play.
All right, Rob gree Tooch pushes and road let's do it.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Uh yeah, touchdown right like rugby.
Speaker 5 (05:04):
That's what we're getting on TV right now.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
That's exactly what it looks. That's what it looks like.
I can't express you. I've never been more sure, including
the Lions.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
Getting to the postseason than the two for us, this
is the last year, one thousand percent you can and
this is it.
Speaker 5 (05:19):
It is gone and exactly figure they figured it out.
How it's too hard to officiate? No, I just get
and they said that it was it was dangerous.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Then they can't fall start.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Yeah, now they're just saying it's gonna be too hard.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
One thousand percent. You can put the bank on it.
It'll be gone next year. Did you see that missed
by show? Right, he's been swinging, he's been, he's been reaching,
he's been.
Speaker 2 (05:40):
I mean, all right, touchdown? Can we stop? Can we
can we move on? He didn't get in, get in?
I wasn't okay. I looked at the back.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
He took out on three pictures he's facing the lefty,
but my god, three pictures and he caught.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
The last one was a call strike. Yeah, they had
said his elbow been a little hurt.
Speaker 5 (06:00):
Wasn't the excuse this year?
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Last year? It was the shoulder, right, dude, look what
that ball is. That's a perfect pitch. That was perfect.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Oh my god, right on that box. Remember what I
was telling you about what the with the box there?
That's what you're gonna be looking at, Aaron Judge when
it went down, looking, Oh say that all right?
Speaker 2 (06:17):
And hundred in the books. Dang it.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
You know what, there's another MLB bro up here, because
you need to know, and he's about there this whole
run because you just said that.
Speaker 5 (06:25):
Okay, all right, let's keep it moving here, getting back
to football, but college football this time. I don't know
if you guys saw there. This week, the NCAA has
moved one step closer to allowing athletes and athletic department
staffers to gamble on pro sports. Illinois ad Josh Whitman,
(06:45):
who's the chairman of the committee, said in the statement
quote that the committee remains concerned about the risk associated
with all forms of sports gambling, but ultimately voted to
reduce restriction. Those student athletes in this are more so
that they are better to align with their campus peers.
In layman's terms, if your roommate's gambling, you should gamble.
Speaker 1 (07:07):
To Oh no, your roommate's playing. And here's what you do.
You're setting up getting them used to it. And they're
going to say, I could do this in college football,
Like like I just you know what I mean, Like
I got more information in college football. I could bet
against my team. They'll never know. I'll get my friends.
I'll give them inside information. Like you're setting up a
situation where you're making them feel comfortable about gambling. And
(07:31):
then you can't tell me that once they start with
the pro that they're not gonna want to better go
to college. Go to college because they know more about college.
They're actually playing college football. Right, Yeah, listen, this is
a mistake, dude, we're on the same page. There's multiple
reasons why this is mistake. Let me let me, let me,
let me walk you through this.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Number one, we already have an increase in young adults,
specifically young men, becoming more and more addicted to gambling.
In fact, let me go to the numbers help nine
calls for eighteen to twenty four year old age group
increased over sixty percent since twenty nineteen. And last year
they did a survey. They found ten percent of men
between eighteen and thirty scored as problem gamblers, compared to
(08:12):
three percent of the general population. So you have a
bunch of young men who are effectively having gambling problems.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
So you know what else doesn't help.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
The simplification of the in access, right, it feels like
like an app. Just go to prize picks, fanduels. It's
like ordering the piazza exactly. And so the ease and
access to young folk and doesn't feel like gambling gambling
because it's only five bucks, I can put five bocks.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
You're not going to the window with money, you know
what I mean? It gives it like to think about
that exact.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Dudes, put one hundred bucks in and it starts to
catch up for those who have problems with it.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
We're going to the eleventh in Los Angeles.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
Day.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
I was gonna end the structure out too. Yeah, yes,
So I just think it's probably at a couple of
other things too, Rob. You know who college athletes are
cool with pro athletes, the guys who left the school.
If I want a basketball team at U c l A,
why no, the football players too, and what's up man?
Speaker 3 (09:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (09:05):
And then they go to the pros and then you
you know, hey, man, what's up? You have my hamstring
a little off right now? Just little things like we've
always talked about, Hey did you hear that problem?
Speaker 1 (09:14):
And so Matt Staffer's not playing this week? Yeah, I've
read that, telling you his ribs are messed up, all.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
Okay, And you get the inside of information and what
the what the college is saying is they said that
abstinence with young people doesn't work, meaning when you tell
them tom stain from something, right, Hey, tell them don'tdrink.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
They're gona drink, tell them to have sex. They have sex.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
So, but that's a terrible thing in this situation because
you're setting them up for a possible addiction. And lastly,
I think dn NCAA was setting them up for a
class action lawsuit at some point where a bunch of
young people can say, you knew this was a problem
for young people, yet you allowed it. Now I have
a gambling addiction, I'm in trouble. I've lost my home,
I've lost my life. I'm in prison because I was
(09:55):
doing crazy stuff to get money. I feel like the
NCAA would set themselves up for a five years, ten
years from now, a class action lawsuit where you okay
something where the numbers and statistics say this is already
a problem for young people.
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Yeah, I just I don't.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
If you're playing if you're not like your your roommate,
you're not you're playing college football at a high level,
you're you're not the same, right, Like, there's something different
and they're treated differently. Right if then then the other
kids in the school, for for because there are athletes
and whatnot, and there's some different rules and regulations for them.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
This falls into that.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
That's what I sign up for to play major college
football or whatever it is, Right, that's what I've signed
up for. That's not Oh that was early. I was like,
this is game. Would have been passed out of it.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
I just turned my head and you see a home
run and you're like, but there's a replay.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
And I was like, oh my god, I'm not gonna
lie with twenty sixty. I hear the replays gave me
all the time. I thought it was.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Gone until what they just showed kershaw. Then I realized
that was last night.
Speaker 2 (10:58):
Oh but you get my point. Knew it was gone.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Yeah, I knew it was gone. It was Will Schwarber's
coming up. And that's the guy you gotta be careful about,
you do.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
And at this point you feel like he's do one
that's to worrisome if you're the Docters. Vessie in now
for them, But I just don't. And it's just just
a bad idea. And what do we talk about a
bunch Actually with the NBA, the NBA is ducking in
dodging these issues.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Right.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
You got Porter who got caught up, John Tay Porter,
and then you got Terry Rozier who got caught up
and all of a sudden he's exonerating, and you got
Malie Beasley and all of a sudden he's exonerated. So
my point is this already problematic, is something that's growing
increasing in the pros. To me, you just you just
you're amplifying it and allowing it to be a problem
with the young people as well. And I just don't
think it's why some things are just sitting there obviously
(11:44):
like that, that's an obvious occurrence. Why it's not a
good dicision, right, And it's not forever you're playing college football.
When it's over, you could be a regular person and
do whatever you choose, just like the same old thing. Uh,
everybody's different, and uh in college this is opening up
a Pandora's box where you're gonna have look how easy
this is. Hey, I know more about the USC football team.
(12:08):
I know the quarterbacks banged up. I can make some
money off of this ro if you're relying on teenage
boys and girls, yep, to uphold the rules and only
do it for the professionals, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Like, like, dude, you do know you.
Speaker 4 (12:22):
Can go on prize picks and all that and do
for college sports, right, and you're just opening it up
for more chances for them to make dumb decisions. Because
we know, especially men, young men, they don't make wise
decisions to their twenty four to twenty five to twenty
six when your brain is fully developed.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
So I just I don't think it's wise.
Speaker 1 (12:39):

It is that Cairl list. Boys, that's my that's one
of my top ten. Dude, that's my top ten. If
I would you take that? Come on, man, that's a
great tune.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
No, no, that's automatic and everybody, hey, when you drop
that Alex, we might need that poison at some point.
Tysus Tower trivia on the way. Yes, Monty, you get excited.
We got that coming up in a bit. Todgers, are
you nervous?
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Man?
Speaker 2 (14:55):
On second? Let me who was Monty's little v Klempt? Yeah,
just get out of it. What was I talking about? YouTube?

this is more.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
I didn't even realize all the time, I didn't seen
another side, another press box joint.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah. Is that why the diet is officially gone? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (15:31):
Because you know what I just saw today? The first
time I seen it like eight months. Oh yeah, you
had McDonald's.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
I had McDonald's. I had not not only did mcdonaldsy.
I had thought my daughters came in. Oh what happened?
Something happened to.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Get out of the Vescia Wow struck them out and
that was a bad he reached it, that swung at that.
Uh yeah, I saw you. I thought my daughters were
here with the McNuggets.
Speaker 1 (15:54):
I told you like, I got the picture that I wanted.
I worked really hard Monty to live thirty five pounds
and the picture that's forever.
Speaker 4 (16:03):
It is lasting forever is I did. And you are
back telling what you ordered today sent you back. Sorry,
just tell him what you got, Alex. You're not listening
to you.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
I just have a litow darkness.
Speaker 9 (16:12):
I have one of those bags with everything in it
that man, nuggets, fries and mcdouble die coke, My man,
he's disgusted.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
He is back, Alex.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
Yes, you know what. You know what I did to
get there. This is my little week. I've only been back, right,
this is my week.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
I'll just tell you this. It's very hard to climb
a ladder, very easy to fall.
Speaker 4 (16:36):
Had a blip. That's the worst part about it. You
have a great two years, being great shape, that bad
have a bad two months? Yeah, doesn't matter. What is
that about life? Think about it, sobriety shout to Allen Iverson.
You can have five years out of you know, a
bad night, something bad news happening, and you go get
drunk and you off the wagon.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Now you gotta start, man, That is a thing about life. Boy, Yeah,
all right?
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox Gambling eight seven
seven six sixty three sixty nine.
Speaker 4 (17:03):
So to be all right for the college kids to
be able to gamble on pro sports? Is that a
bad segue getting them into potentially some bad things. They
would say, they're gonna do it anyway. That's what college
is saying. So we're gonna win. Abstinence ain't the things,
So let them do it since they're doing it anyway.
Eight seven seven ninet nine.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Oh, Fox, we got Andre in Massachusetts. You're in the
odd couple. Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Drake?
Speaker 10 (17:25):
Hey, how you doing. Thanks for taking a call. Listen.
To pass the law in the real world means nothing.
To enforce the law is everything. And finally, college athletics
is seeing this. That's why I don't have a problem
with them saying what the reality is, which think they
can't enforce this anyway, So let's just allow them to
bet what they're already doing in terms of fantasy draft
(17:45):
kits on the pro sports where they do need to
have some oversighted enforcement is what's going on within college
sports where it is a casino royale. Everybody's making money
hand over fist. So they got to take get their
own house in order and make sure that they're getting
ahead of of these cheating scandals. Like we're starting to
see bubble up in the professional ranks, ranks I e.
The NBA, Right, the NBA is starting to see these things,
(18:07):
you know, and it's happening, and they're trying to get
their arms around it. You know, it's happening with fringe players,
but what's to say it's not going to happen with
with star players. So I agree with college spot allow
it at the pro level, but get your arms around
this with the out of control nil.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
But what's going to stop them? Andre? Here's my issue.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Once they start doing it with pro what's going to
stop them from trying college?
Speaker 2 (18:29):
I know more about college.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I know guys on other teams, I know people who
are heard, I know what's going on. I'll have an
easier chance on getting college right. Do you do you
see my point?
Speaker 10 (18:42):
Rob? I do see your point. That's why they need
to marry the NBA and when you see these things
happen and somebody you know, because the gambling house is
no when people are cheating, when you know, so you
can track the data, catch somebody in college and make
an example out of them to shut them down, right,
that's what you need to do, rather than focusing on
the professional ranks where you have no oversight and control.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
No doubt. I appreciate you, all right.
Speaker 4 (19:08):
We got an update in the Thursday night game as well.
Manti will get you that in the second Another score
here there. This is a fun, exciting game.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
And another out again the Dodgers. Freddy, Freddy is what
you do?
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Man?
Speaker 4 (19:20):
This was truly a pitcher's duel and then obviously obviously
the bullpen as well.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
My goodness, one of those games.
Speaker 4 (19:26):
Hey, this is what we talked about when we said
would you rather be a pitcher's duel or a high
rob g said, give me some some offense.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
But this is this is edge of your seat because
you know, whoever scores, you know, obviously both teams has
to hit. But I mean this could be a walk
off for the Dodgers, or it could be a big.
Speaker 2 (19:44):
Moment for the Phillies.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Like this is really really it is one of the
edge of the sea in every pitch means something.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
And if you're watching, if you're at the ballpark, you're
on your edge of your seat.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
So you guys have watched every pitch of this game
because it's on multiple TVs in the studio. We got two,
and two of these are big screens, right, So it's
not like we're watching four games at once and we're
kind of watching. I know we're watching this. We're watching
Thursday night football. In this game. Is this good pitching
or bad hitting?
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Oh? Absolutely, combination of the both. Bad hitting.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
I'm gonna say pitching. The guys who have pitched tonight
are really good ones. And they've been because I know
it's it's hard to hit in the playoffs, rob G.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
It is some of these bats, that's what they're reaching.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
Todd, he's been bad.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
Yeah, he struck out on three pitches the last time
up and took a strike three.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Rob G.
Speaker 4 (20:30):
I said, you know, I get to sit next to
some some guys who are really good hitters, and when
I tell you they are not fans of this era
of hitting, it isn't me saying it, just trying to
say politely, Uh, just the ideology of hitting has changed.
Speaker 5 (20:46):
We're in the eleventh inning and these teams have combined
for nine hits.
Speaker 1 (20:50):
That's crazy, Yeah, but it is drama, Phil it is

Robby's so right? When his Dodgers Mariners too so right?
Speaker 5 (22:30):
All right? Flipped the coin During the update, Rob Parker
gets question number one, so let's get to it. Rob
Claxico Burris, former Giant, got a game winning touchdown in
the Super Bowl, but he might actually be even more
well known for shooting himself in the blank at a club.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
Alex, how are you? Rob? I'm doing spectacular awesome. It's
always great to see. Likewise, I think I'm doing better
than the Yankees, that's for sure. Yes, they sitting at
home catching straight.
Speaker 1 (23:02):
Seriously, I knows man, all right, T three.
Speaker 2 (23:07):

Asian guys man who made that exactly?
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Want you pick a clue? Hey, we get Spectrum on
the phone. All right, my gosh, here we go. Let's
go all this for this clue.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
By the way, the clue is taking all this arm.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Leg Let's just go away. You waited seventeen years for that.
Speaker 1 (23:57):
Shout out to plaques, man, I was trying to, you know,
get the the show goes.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
That's what you're doing. My gosh, seventeen minutes for that.

I love you for them. There you go, and I love.
Speaker 5 (24:06):
That plain sense of humor about it.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah, that is my choice.
Speaker 1 (24:11):
I want to talk about a travesy of justice that
was setting.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Him to jail for that. Absolutely that game.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
That gun, I'm serious, was registered in Florida, not in
New York one. Like he was walking around with a
gun that wasn't registered. And that law was because criminals,
first time offenders used to be able to get off
like a Robert gas Station would a gun, and so
that what they would get off.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Because it was the first time offenders.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
So what they said was if you had an illegal handgun,
you know, not registered, that you automatically had to go
to jail.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
It was for.
Speaker 1 (24:43):
People like that, not a millionaire football player who accidentally
shot itself.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
I thought that was the worst. Guy went to jail
for a couple of years for that.
Speaker 5 (24:51):
Yeah, and now he was our teammateer on Fox.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
I'm that serious. Not because he's our teammate. I thought
that was I mean, I want to bring that my
good bringing. What I was really about to say? Level
number two over to Dub Dub.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
The Giants have a couple alternate nicknames, including the g Men,
the Jints, and Big Blank.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
My guy, Alex? What up? You good? What's up? Kate?
My Sea Moss Brothren going all right? He took some seams.

Speaker 5 (25:46):

he still looks scared.
Speaker 2 (26:18):
He looks good. He looks great, to be honest with you,
especially we know his background. He looks great. I was
gonna tack those be the ones who live forever right then?
Is why I'm gonna be ninety eight? Yes, I I know.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
I swore Mike Tyson when I survived earlier on, I
