As you guys mentioned, Caleb Williams started the game ten
for ten before that fourth down in completion. He's ten
for ten for eighty six yards. He's also added a
rushing touchdown. And if you look at Twitter, you would say, gosh, Lee,
Caleb Williams looks as good as advertised. He looks like
the number one pick. He looks like a generational prospect.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
We led to believe.

But if you look at another segment of Twitter, and
we don't have the sound on in the studios, I'll
give you the exact quote. But there's another faction that's
saying during the broadcast that Troy Aikman has really let
him have it.

Is he that he is not playing.

Within structure the way that Ben Johnson likes to play.
You know that Kelvin with reliance, that he is not
pulling the trigger when things are open down the field,
that he's dancing in the pocket a little too much.
And to his credit, he's making something happen that probably
wasn't there. But if he would have played the way
the offense is meant to be played, they would have
had more yardage, more points. And here's another more than
seven twenty years another. See that's how I know Rob

has a guy. He's got a guy. He's got a
guy just like no.

Jared Goff leading receivers where they needed to go. And

an example of the play that they're talking about, Cayleb
Williams throws an err and pass, the receiver catches it
and falls down for a game of four. It should
have been a gain of eight. O. Okay, that kind
of stuff.

Here's the other issue that they're pointing out is again
all through training camp, and Rob even knows this because
he's seen the notes that I've sent out. One of
the issues they had was getting in out of the huddle.
Oh yeah, that penalties. They already have four penalties fifty
seven yards here in the first quarter and a half,
and two of them were of the false start.

Vriet, Yeah, I did see that that. I was just
tell him Rob, I didn't like that, you.

Know, And if you're watching the game, even with sound
on or off, you can see they've shown Ben Johnson
half full of times and you would not think that
he's a guy who's up seven to three year opening.

Well, he is a man. He's a perfectionist.

He's crazy like he's one of those you know, just
has to work like this and the sinking and timing,
and so he's they're gonna have a love hate relationship
because Caleb is gonna make him look great sometimes because
he's just he's that gifted his arm, his ability to run.
But then also what he likes, timing, pacing, getting out
of the huddle, getting a looking back, reading things faster.

That's not Caleb.

You saw that after that first touchdown where he made
something happen. He explosed to the left side, run scores touchdown.
They immediately showed Ben Johnson he's scowling.

Because again, I'm sure there was something something he saw
the tide end. So they're gonna have a love hate
relationship because Ben Johnson was used to a nineteen ninety
two prototypical quarterback in Jered go. He ain't moving, he
ain't running nowhere. This is what we do. This is
time and this is safe. I just crazy.

You start ten for ten, you're leading the game, you
gotta touchdown. You got twenty one yards on the ground,
and let's find for I just think I just think that,
like you could overanalyze something and that way we.

quarter I just don't like, likebiously, it's one quarter. If
you told me that this was four games in and
he's still he hasn't adjusted yet or he's not doing that,
maybe I would buy into it. I just can't look
at like one quarter that he's supposed to be Jared
Golf and the Lions offense in one in.

If Jared Golf, but you could go back to his
first few games and he was there, you know what
I mean, like when he first started.

I think that what we're seeing isias, you know, too
much time on this. Well this Kayler Williams is gonna
be showing how talent he is. Ben Johnson is gonna say,
I want you to work in this system, and there's
gonna be a weird where we should be. He should
be happy he scored. That wasn't how he should have scored.
You're gonna see a bunch of that with them.

Well let's go here because I gotta give you, uh
the business because you spend you spent from the Fox,
you spent the whole off season ripping the shreds Aaron
Rodgers that he can't play, and why in the world
would the Steelers wait for him?

And they're dumb and they don't have Rodgers and they
don't have a plan, and Aaron Rodgers this and that,
and you could not have been more wrong about whether
or not the guy can still play.

said Aaron Rodgers was washed up and he should go
to Chicago and finish his career.

That was before he won the back to back MVPs.

That was Bucky Brooks who said he was washed up
back then. And you spent all off season talking about
what a mistake the Steelers made.

And he's forty one context.

No, no, but you said they made a mistake and
you wouldn't have waited and all that. No, no, no, no, no,
you said he could play. You know what I could play,
since you did sits here every day. Never said Aaron
Rodger could play.

He had twenty eight touchdowns eleven and no, you said
that the numbers numbers for future build up or nobody
cares about their future.

There's no such things. There's no such thing now. The

able to do a thing that a lot of guys

high volume and high quality.

He played extreme and he doesn't turn the ball over.
He'll give you a chance to win.

all summer bashing him without what right.

the season as he got more healthy this pass offseason. Oh,

this is gonna be a disaster. That where are all
those people who hoped and prayed that this would be
a disaster. You can't sit here now and say to
yourself that the Steelers were crazy. They got dividends on

where you can't run the damn ball. You'll one dimensional
with a forty one year old quarterback and.

They just they have to fix that defense, man, because
you're not gonna go out week in a week out

and put up you know, thirty forty plus points a game.
That's just not going to happen. It's not realistic. So
they got to figure that defense out because they got
the recipe the way Derek hen We ran, You're going
to automatically win a lot of games if you can
pet play a halfway decently good defense and running the
ball that way and running the ball around by lamar,
you're going to automatically win a lot of football games

that way. But to just keep racking up, you know,
yards and giving up yards when they did, they're gonna
piss their season out, you know, down the drain. And
that's that's what they don't fix that, that's what's going
to happen. And you know, the critics everyone not just
not gonna get off of Lamar Jackson's back. And that's
just you know, that's the way they're going.

you make of the team around him? Is a team
around him good enough to actually get it done? Because
at this point we know they're gonna like similarly win

You think they've built enough around them?

That's the question. And truthfully, this is the time It's
a do or die for them, because after this season,
that team is not gonna look alike. It's not gonna
look what they look like right now. You typically got
you typically got about a four year window with the
same group of guys, and I may four year window max.
You got the same group of guys before the GM goals,
the assistant GM goal, you know, the decordinator, Oh coordinator,

they're gone. They're going to get hired by the people.
Look what's happening with the Lions.

There was my next question. I'm glad you brought that up.

Go ahead, you get what I'm saying. But that's what
the trajectory that the Bills could be on if they
don't figure it out now, they don't get over that
hump right now. The problem is the AFC has gotten
so much better, I mean, the Chargers and you know,
we can jump the other teams and stuff. But the
Bills have a dual die situation where they're if they
don't get take care of business this year, they're gonna

be done for a long time because they're going to
be a lot of you know, coordinators, a lot of coaches,
a lot of people, GMS, assistant GMS. That's going to
be gone and they have to get it done this year.

Let's talk about the Detroit Lions. I don't have them
making the playoffs this year. I said it before the
season started.

Coordinators, way tougher schedule, Dan Gamble, I'm not a big
fan of and I just think the division's gotten better.

And I'm not saying they're gonna win in four games, Sean,
but you can win ten games and not make the
playoffs in the NFL. Right with seventeen games, I think
they take a step back. Where are you on the Lions?

I'm the same, I'm the same. And that's why I said,
and I was saying that last year before Ben Johnson,
before he left, you know, left the organization. You have
this window where you're really good, where you got all
the pieces to the puzzle on the offense side of
the ball, defense side of the ball. You got they
had great coordinators last year and this is not you know,

by the way, this is not a shot a shot
at Dan Campbell. I think he's a great leader of men.
He can get everyone going, but everyone else, the offensive
coordinator and defense cordinator, they're exiting those guys Dan Campbell
is not Dan Campbell is a great leader of men,
but when you put pen the paper, he's not that.
That's not who he is. Now you give him somebody
(26:50):
who can draw some plays and get an offensive defense
going because they got a good scheme, then he's gonna
look like a genius. But now he's having to get
out of his comfort zone and becoming excess than those guys.

That's just not who he is.

Sean Marrivin, our guess, former All Pro linebacker, final lights out,
extreme fighting. Let me go to your former team, Chargers,
go charge us. They were two and seven against the Chiefs.
That's Justin Herbert and now he has Jim Harbor year
two of this experiment seeing how this goes. What do
you make of that big win for them down in
Brazil and they were able to get that winning not
(27:25):
only get to win. Justin Herbert was the one who
iced out and looked good. Just him me your thoughts
on where they are right now and what this season
means to them.
Speaker 6 (27:31):
You know, sometimes when I say stuff, I can come
across his buys because I played for the team. Well,
you gotta remember Jim Harball took that same team that
Brandon Staley had and took him to the playoffs. Minus
and Keenan Allen, right, and so you know minus what
some of their weapons. So if you look at how
this team is built, and look at Jim Harbaugh his history,
(27:55):
any program, any organizational went, he has a two to
four year window with that team is really good. And
this is this is when they started slam on the
gas justin Herbert has not had a stable situation his
entire career. White played for the team from the head
coach all the way down to the offensive coordinator. He
hasn't had a quarterback coach. He hasn't had a stable situation.
(28:16):
This is the first time that he's actually having the
same system with a stable coaching group by here side
with an awesome GM that came over. Man, I love
that dude, And and so I said it before the
season that I believe the Charge, the Charge is gonna
win a division. And this is not a knock in
the Chiefs.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
It is just that knock the Chiefs go ahead, because
I think that everybody's hopping on them saying now that
they're not good.
Speaker 6 (28:42):
They are. They just got beat by team that's better.
And the Charges, Man, you know they're they're going to
come out on top of the division this year and
then whatever happens after that. But everybody's gotten about even
the Raiders. I mean the Raiders has gotten now. I'm
not saying that there.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
The Patriots really.
Speaker 6 (28:59):
What they I didn't say they made a big lead,
but they gotten better for what they were last year.
They got a gent's gonna be good yo, Gino Smith
was an upgrade for what they had last year. They
got a better coach, coach and Pete Carroll, so they
got better. And so what happens in the division when
you dominate for so long, other teams just get better.
That's what happened with the NFC West.

Yeah, I think TJ. Housmanjada has the Chargers going to
the super Bowl. He's that high on them.
Speaker 5 (29:28):

And the Chiefs, I'm not that high on them. Last
year they played a really good team in the super Bowl.
They got beat up and then they played a good
team in the Chargers like that. Lucky rabbits foot might
have fallen out of their pocket because the last year
they won a lot of game showing.

But they were very lucky real quick.

Aaron Rodgers' debut with the Steelers, What did you make
of the forty one year old man?
Speaker 6 (29:52):
The Steelers always gone five hundred or so with average guys,
and they just needed somebody to come in to be
better than what they had over the last few years.
We'll pick it. And just Aaron Rodgers, even at forty
one years old, is a major upgrade anything they've had
over the last several years period. And that's all they needed,
you know. And Mike Tomlin, you know, put Mike Commlin
(30:14):
do because if so many people jumping in his back
and before the season or we should get rid of him.
He's hadn't gone to a Super Bowl, says how a
long he hasn't won, been more than five hundred so,
and this is the first time he's also had an
upgrade at that position. And then now go out and
be real contenders. And I'm not saying I'm not calling
for the Stealers to go to the Super Bowl or
(30:36):
anything like that, but what I am saying is Aaron Rodgers,
either at forty one years old, is the best quarterback
they've had in the last several years, even at forty one, no.

As you guys mentioned, Caleb Williams started the game ten
for ten before that fourth down in completion. He's ten
for ten for eighty six yards. He's also added a
rushing touchdown. And if you look at Twitter, you would say, gosh, Lee,
Caleb Williams looks as good as advertised. He looks like
the number one pick. He looks like a generational prospect.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
We led to believe.

But if you look at another segment of Twitter, and
we don't have the sound on in the studios, I'll
give you the exact quote. But there's another faction that's
saying during the broadcast that Troy Aikman has really let
him have it.

Is he that he is not playing.
Speaker 5 (02:42):
Within structure the way that Ben Johnson likes to play.
You know that Kelvin with reliance, that he is not
pulling the trigger when things are open down the field,
that he's dancing in the pocket a little too much.
And to his credit, he's making something happen that probably
wasn't there. But if he would have played the way
the offense is meant to be played, they would have
had more yardage, more points. And here's another more than
seven twenty years another. See that's how I know Rob
(03:05):
has a guy. He's got a guy. He's got a
guy just like no.

But people at home talking about, oh, they should be
up twenty one nothing really really, Rob G, they should
be up twenty one nothing?

God? What is that? I mean?

I'm just saying because we get to see it, but
we can't pay attention to everything. We're talking to each other,
we're looking at our notes.

of these comments are saying, you know, Troy Aikman really
hates Kayleb Williams paraphrasing Troy Aikman one in that football.
So here's an example. Said last year's Lions led the
NFL in yards after catch. That was a product of
Jared Goff leading receivers where they needed to go. And

an example of the play that they're talking about, Cayleb
Williams throws an err and pass, the receiver catches it
and falls down for a game of four. It should
have been a gain of eight. O. Okay, that kind
of stuff.

Let's say what he said is true. This is his
first game with the with the with the new coordinator.

Like, dude, this is what I'm saying.

Here's the other issue that they're pointing out is again
all through training camp, and Rob even knows this because
he's seen the notes that I've sent out. One of
the issues they had was getting in out of the huddle.
Oh yeah, that penalties. They already have four penalties fifty
seven yards here in the first quarter and a half,
and two of them were of the false start.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Vriet, Yeah, I did see that that. I was just
tell him Rob, I didn't like that, you.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Know, And if you're watching the game, even with sound
on or off, you can see they've shown Ben Johnson
half full of times and you would not think that
he's a guy who's up seven to three year opening.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Well, he is a man. He's a perfectionist.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
He's crazy like he's one of those you know, just
has to work like this and the sinking and timing,
and so he's they're gonna have a love hate relationship
because Caleb is gonna make him look great sometimes because
he's just he's that gifted his arm, his ability to run.
But then also what he likes, timing, pacing, getting out
of the huddle, getting a looking back, reading things faster.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
That's not Caleb.
Speaker 5 (04:59):
You saw that after that first touchdown where he made
something happen. He explosed to the left side, run scores touchdown.
They immediately showed Ben Johnson he's scowling.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Because again, I'm sure there was something something he saw
the tide end. So they're gonna have a love hate
relationship because Ben Johnson was used to a nineteen ninety
two prototypical quarterback in Jered go. He ain't moving, he
ain't running nowhere. This is what we do. This is
time and this is safe. I just crazy.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
You start ten for ten, you're leading the game, you
gotta touchdown. You got twenty one yards on the ground,
and let's find for I just think I just think that,
like you could overanalyze something and that way we.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Will, okay, because this is people are gonna overanalyze because
Ben Johnson being so cost.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
These one for two passing him, I right, is that
what he at one for two?
Speaker 5 (05:47):
Well, Rob, it's not always the end result that these
guys can. You know that it is, but it's not
with these coaches. Like you've been around sports period, but
it's a long time and you know that there are
coaches who say, use my system, use by.

This is what this is one game, like the one
quarter I just don't like, likebiously, it's one quarter. If
you told me that this was four games in and
he's still he hasn't adjusted yet or he's not doing that,
maybe I would buy into it. I just can't look
at like one quarter that he's supposed to be Jared
Golf and the Lions offense in one in.

One quarter, this is what this is. Do you know
what I mean?
Speaker 3 (06:23):
If Jared Golf, but you could go back to his
first few games and he was there, you know what
I mean, like when he first started.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
And it takes a little time. That's all I'm saying.

I think that what we're seeing isias, you know, too
much time on this. Well this Kayler Williams is gonna
be showing how talent he is. Ben Johnson is gonna say,
I want you to work in this system, and there's
gonna be a weird where we should be. He should
be happy he scored. That wasn't how he should have scored.
You're gonna see a bunch of that with them.

Well let's go here because I gotta give you, uh
the business because you spend you spent from the Fox,
you spent the whole off season ripping the shreds Aaron
Rodgers that he can't play, and why in the world
would the Steelers wait for him?

And they're dumb and they don't have Rodgers and they
don't have a plan, and Aaron Rodgers this and that,
and you could not have been more wrong about whether
or not the guy can still play.

And yesterday, I mean Bucky Brooks to me, you did
a Bucky Brooks where Bucky Brooks came on this show
said Aaron Rodgers was washed up and he should go
to Chicago and finish his career.

That was before he won the back to back MVPs.

That was Bucky Brooks who said he was washed up
back then. And you spent all off season talking about
what a mistake the Steelers made.

And he's forty one context.

Of what I said, but he's forty one.

No, no, but you said they made a mistake and
you wouldn't have waited and all that. No, no, no, no, no,
you said he could play. You know what I could play,
since you did sits here every day. Never said Aaron
Rodger could play.

He had twenty eight touchdowns eleven and no, you said
that the numbers numbers for future build up or nobody
cares about their future.

There's no such things. There's no such thing now. The
future is now. The future is now. You're trying to
win now.

And yesterday was a perfect example of why the stealers.

Wanted Aaron Rodgers.

They couldn't run the ball, they couldn't stop anybody on defense,
and they still won the game because he played well
seventy three percent completions, throw back shoulder throws. He was
able to do a thing that a lot of guys
can't do, which is quarterback at high court at a
high volume and high quality.

He played extreme and he doesn't turn the ball over.
He'll give you a chance to win.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
And a lot of people took their time and spent
all summer bashing him without what right.

People forget that last year. Go look at the numbers.

He was coming off the Achilles right, he was coming
off of the injury, and he got better, rob g
We've talked about these numbers in the second half of
the season as he got more healthy this pass offseason. Oh,
I just doesn't make any sense to me. He not
a trading game, He not taking any snapped. He got

new receivers, He's got a new offense. Oh my god,
this is gonna be a disaster. That where are all
those people who hoped and prayed that this would be
a disaster. You can't sit here now and say to
yourself that the Steelers were crazy. They got dividends on
Game one, which is a great game one on the road,

where you can't run the damn ball. You'll one dimensional
with a forty one year old quarterback and.

You get a w you just you know you.

All you're doing is further in my point, the Steelers
can't run the ball, which looks like they may not
be able to run the ball at all season. Come,
I'm saying a prolific running team, they might run the ball.
Hair that Aaron Rodgers did this against the guy who
was supposed to be nothing. All we heard off season
was justin fields ain't good? Justin fields look horrible? Justin fields?

Ain't that? Justin fields played dak near just as good
as Aaron Rodgers?

Did he win the game? Aaron Rodgers? Did he win

why justin field? That's the concern. He can't throw the ball.
He has to run. Threw the ball a touchdown? No,
he has to run the ball.

to the two to six in a row, and then

So Aaron Rodgers had a good game. Aaron Rodgers is
one of the greatest quarterbacks I've seen. You You nobody's
saying he sucked. I verbat him and use the words

He's not the guy I want to. I want to
start building for.

The future because I want the same I'm in it,
and they're not going this year. I'm in the same wins.

has been, if you're the Steelers, you start to plan
for the future so that no games.

Houchmanzada, who said that defense is going to be better,

best game you're gonna see from justin fields all year.
You will not see what we saw yesterday. Commit four
touchdowns and people don't do that with no interceptions. It's
only happened twenty eight times.

So, but but the idea if he would have had
foreign exceptions and whatever, you would have been in here
today trashing them that he can't play.

something he doesn't have, it doesn't matter. Anger Ring, that's
all right. Yeah, he didn't have a top five defense
his whole career. Gang of Ring to Tom Brady won

defense can do what they need to be they are
to me, the Ravens are the best team, but I
think the Steelers can play for them because they're a

complete team this year, So I do think we saw
a sign of what's gonna come this season the Ravens.
Who knows that they can get all out of their
own way always the brides maids never applied.

then as Drake talked about, you just need somebody to
make the throws and make the plays.

the Ravens definitely could have played better. But I think
that people are just not giving the Bills of enough
credit either. But if you want to stick to the
Ravens side, man, they got to they gotta stop that run.
They just they have to fix that defense, man, because
you're not gonna go out week in a week out

and put up you know, thirty forty plus points a game.
That's just not going to happen. It's not realistic. So
they got to figure that defense out because they got
the recipe the way Derek hen We ran, You're going
to automatically win a lot of games if you can
pet play a halfway decently good defense and running the
ball that way and running the ball around by lamar,
you're going to automatically win a lot of football games

that way. But to just keep racking up, you know,
yards and giving up yards when they did, they're gonna
piss their season out, you know, down the drain. And
that's that's what they don't fix that, that's what's going
to happen. And you know, the critics everyone not just
not gonna get off of Lamar Jackson's back. And that's
just you know, that's the way they're going.

This is the way I feel he automatically is like
spot them twelve games, Like he's that good that the
team is gonna win twelve. You just want to see

beat the Ravens? What the Bills told Kelvin to shut up?

hundred and fifty plus yards for Josh Allen, what do
you make of the team around him? Is a team
around him good enough to actually get it done? Because
at this point we know they're gonna like similarly win
eleven twelve thirteen games. Can they win when it matters most?
You think they've built enough around them?

That's the question. And truthfully, this is the time It's
a do or die for them, because after this season,
that team is not gonna look alike. It's not gonna
look what they look like right now. You typically got
you typically got about a four year window with the
same group of guys, and I may four year window max.
You got the same group of guys before the GM goals,
the assistant GM goal, you know, the decordinator, Oh coordinator,
(25:04):
they're gone. They're going to get hired by the people.
Look what's happening with the Lions.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
There was my next question. I'm glad you brought that up.
Speaker 6 (25:11):
Go ahead, you get what I'm saying. But that's what
the trajectory that the Bills could be on if they
don't figure it out now, they don't get over that
hump right now. The problem is the AFC has gotten
so much better, I mean, the Chargers and you know,
we can jump the other teams and stuff. But the
Bills have a dual die situation where they're if they
don't get take care of business this year, they're gonna
(25:32):
be done for a long time because they're going to
be a lot of you know, coordinators, a lot of coaches,
a lot of people, GMS, assistant GMS. That's going to
be gone and they have to get it done this year.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
Let's talk about the Detroit Lions. I don't have them
making the playoffs this year. I said it before the
season started.
Speaker 6 (25:50):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (25:50):
Coordinators, way tougher schedule, Dan Gamble, I'm not a big
fan of and I just think the division's gotten better.
Speaker 4 (25:58):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (25:59):
And I'm not saying they're gonna win in four games, Sean,
but you can win ten games and not make the
playoffs in the NFL. Right with seventeen games, I think
they take a step back. Where are you on the Lions?
Speaker 6 (26:09):
I'm the same, I'm the same. And that's why I said,
and I was saying that last year before Ben Johnson,
before he left, you know, left the organization. You have
this window where you're really good, where you got all
the pieces to the puzzle on the offense side of
the ball, defense side of the ball. You got they
had great coordinators last year and this is not you know,
(26:30):
by the way, this is not a shot a shot
at Dan Campbell. I think he's a great leader of men.
He can get everyone going, but everyone else, the offensive
coordinator and defense cordinator, they're exiting those guys Dan Campbell
is not Dan Campbell is a great leader of men,
but when you put pen the paper, he's not that.
That's not who he is. Now you give him somebody
(26:50):
who can draw some plays and get an offensive defense
going because they got a good scheme, then he's gonna
look like a genius. But now he's having to get
out of his comfort zone and becoming excess than those guys.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
That's just not who he is.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
Sean Marrivin, our guess, former All Pro linebacker, final lights out,
extreme fighting. Let me go to your former team, Chargers,
go charge us. They were two and seven against the Chiefs.
That's Justin Herbert and now he has Jim Harbor year
two of this experiment seeing how this goes. What do
you make of that big win for them down in
Brazil and they were able to get that winning not
(27:25):
only get to win. Justin Herbert was the one who
iced out and looked good. Just him me your thoughts
on where they are right now and what this season
means to them.
Speaker 6 (27:31):
You know, sometimes when I say stuff, I can come
across his buys because I played for the team. Well,
you gotta remember Jim Harball took that same team that
Brandon Staley had and took him to the playoffs. Minus
and Keenan Allen, right, and so you know minus what
some of their weapons. So if you look at how
this team is built, and look at Jim Harbaugh his history,
(27:55):
any program, any organizational went, he has a two to
four year window with that team is really good. And
this is this is when they started slam on the
gas justin Herbert has not had a stable situation his
entire career. White played for the team from the head
coach all the way down to the offensive coordinator. He
hasn't had a quarterback coach. He hasn't had a stable situation.
(28:16):
This is the first time that he's actually having the
same system with a stable coaching group by here side
with an awesome GM that came over. Man, I love
that dude, And and so I said it before the
season that I believe the Charge, the Charge is gonna
win a division. And this is not a knock in
the Chiefs.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
It is just that knock the Chiefs go ahead, because
I think that everybody's hopping on them saying now that
they're not good.
Speaker 6 (28:42):
They are. They just got beat by team that's better.
And the Charges, Man, you know they're they're going to
come out on top of the division this year and
then whatever happens after that. But everybody's gotten about even
the Raiders. I mean the Raiders has gotten now. I'm
not saying that there.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
The Patriots really.
Speaker 6 (28:59):
What they I didn't say they made a big lead,
but they gotten better for what they were last year.
They got a gent's gonna be good yo, Gino Smith
was an upgrade for what they had last year. They
got a better coach, coach and Pete Carroll, so they
got better. And so what happens in the division when
you dominate for so long, other teams just get better.
That's what happened with the NFC West.
Speaker 4 (29:22):
Yeah, I think TJ. Housmanjada has the Chargers going to
the super Bowl. He's that high on them.
Speaker 5 (29:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
And the Chiefs, I'm not that high on them. Last
year they played a really good team in the super Bowl.
They got beat up and then they played a good
team in the Chargers like that. Lucky rabbits foot might
have fallen out of their pocket because the last year
they won a lot of game showing.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
But they were very lucky real quick.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
Aaron Rodgers' debut with the Steelers, What did you make
of the forty one year old man?
Speaker 6 (29:52):
The Steelers always gone five hundred or so with average guys,
and they just needed somebody to come in to be
better than what they had over the last few years.
We'll pick it. And just Aaron Rodgers, even at forty
one years old, is a major upgrade anything they've had
over the last several years period. And that's all they needed,
you know. And Mike Tomlin, you know, put Mike Commlin
(30:14):
do because if so many people jumping in his back
and before the season or we should get rid of him.
He's hadn't gone to a Super Bowl, says how a
long he hasn't won, been more than five hundred so,
and this is the first time he's also had an
upgrade at that position. And then now go out and
be real contenders. And I'm not saying I'm not calling
for the Stealers to go to the Super Bowl or
(30:36):
anything like that, but what I am saying is Aaron Rodgers,
either at forty one years old, is the best quarterback
they've had in the last several years, even at forty one, no.
