The Way tire Bike should be coming up in about
twenty eight minutes. Lamar Mitchell, m GM, Director of Trading.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
We'm talking here with Kevin.
Speaker 1 (01:06):
It ends up being like reverse when you do that,
because you think it's like a reverse psychology, because then
it turns back. It's like my daughter, I have to
tell her that when she does it. I'm like, so
now we still got to talk about it. Now you're
acting like that. Now I gotta talk about it. Be
you when you be you, you be you. That's what
we love.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
So you be you.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Naggett.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Now you got to talk about the Lions being the
super Bowl favorite? No, that's you.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
No, this is you. RP not k W.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
You mean the Lions are mean. But you got to
talk about the Lions. You think that they playing the
JV conference.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
It's the only reason that what was it of Rob?
Do you you bring in? They had a one A,
they had some GMS or whatever.
Speaker 5 (01:50):
You the athletic there, there crackstaff there of NFL reporters,
they got a million of them. They pulled forty six
before the season and now recently at the midway point
on all the awards, MVP, Rookie of the Year, so
on and so forth, they had to pick which team
was most likely to make the super Bowl from each conference.
(02:11):
No surprise. In the AFC it was the Chiefs, all right.
They got twenty nine of the forty six votes. However,
in the NFC, dub and Rob Parkers Detroit Lions not mine,
got forty of forty six first place votes, and as
a result, when they had a guess who they think
would actually win the Super Bowl. Twenty out of thirty
(02:36):
seven who were able to reply to that one all
picked the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 4 (02:42):
It's pretty impressive. Pretty impressive.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Uh, I've actually shocked the initially they talked about initially
they didn't have that many picks, and I think it
was because people were thinking of the forty nine ers,
which would you know. I understand that they had a
great game in the NFC Championship last year, and I
get it they beat thee so, but the man that
the forty nine ers have always the last ten years,
they've been injury pro. I was telling Robgie even back
(03:06):
to like Patrick Willis always injured, like their Deebo Samuels
always ot, Christian mccavvey's always hurt. Someone's always hurt, Jimmy
Garoppolo at times when he was there, so somebody always
hurt with the forty nine ers. But at the Lions, man,
they just I think they've just been such a complete
team that I see why people say that. And it's
because they've been able to run the ball so well.
Their defense has bent but not broken.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
And of course they the offense is the trick plays.
The way Ben Johnson has them in their bag. They're
just fun to watch, and they're they're stepping on everybody's throats.
Speaker 4 (03:38):
They're beating teams down.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
They're not playing around, they're not playing with their food,
playing with the little dead animal. They're coming in, smacking
you up quickly and getting the job done fast. So
I see why people are saying that they you know,
they represent the Super Bowl. Then ultimately they're saying they'll
beat the Chiefs, which is exactly my you know, preseason
pick of Lions, Chiefs Lions win.
Speaker 3 (03:58):
I don't think so. I think it is a they're
picking the Lions by default. It's the weakest of the
two conferences. The forty nine ers are banged up. They
look at the other teams. Who are the quarterbacks in
the NFC? All the quarterbacks, all the quarterbacks.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
Are in the AFC.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
So they're just looking at it strictly as by default.
Sam Darnold, who has been on four teams in the
last four years, all of a sudden, and so he's
the guy in the way, So you don't believe he's
in a way.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Who else in the NFC is in the way?
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Thewboy, The Cowboys are bad, the Eagles haven't been good
in a couple of years now, right, even though they
got off to a great start last year, nobody looks
at them as a real threat. Cowboys stink. Who's there?
You're worried about Seattle, You're not worried about There's nobody
in the NFC. So it's by default that you picked
(04:54):
the Lions. But but it could be Baker Mayfield out
of nowhere that beats the Lions.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Last year they had and they beat him this year.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Just go back to that, Always remember that that that
could be the team because top bowls. If one thing,
their defense is pretty good and Baker's playing with and
they're not losing because of Baker. He's playing really, really well.
Baker Mayfield might be the anecdote or might be the
guy that could beat the Lions. But my point is
there's just nobody else. Even when you look at the
Packers and what they did last year, we talked about it.
(05:25):
You know, everybody beats the Cowboys last year. Going off
of that, you would go like, my god, I don't
want to play the Packers in there's still playoffs, but
I don't. I don't think that they're what they were
last year. How people thought about them after that playoff game.
That was so unexpected, you know what I mean, To
(05:46):
go to Dallas and beat them at that level, that
was nothing that you could They could maybe win squeak
out or win in Dallas whatever. I could buy into
that they get a late turnover, something happens. But to
go down there and rash to Cowboys who had won
sixteen straight home game going into that game the way
they beat them, now, this is we didn't know that
(06:07):
the next week teams that came in we're gonna beat
them down like that as well. So we had another
of that to be able to gauge it. At that point,
you thought the Packers had turned the corner.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, I think, uh, although I agree that the NFC
is clearly not the best conference right this, you know,
this year, right around now, the last few years. I
still think the fact that they picked the Lions to
beat the Chiefs still says a lot about the Lions.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
They could have said that they got but look at
the Chiefs, even with their record, And this is what
we talk about all the time. We talked about that
Steelers team, Rob Gwardy nine and oh ten and Ozer.
We called them the worst nine and oh team in
NFL history, and even people who are in on the
Chiefs and whatnot, that eight and oh is not that impressive,
(06:52):
Like they look at it, when did you win? That's
the goal of it, right, I would saying sports has
a short menu wins, losses, But when you look at them,
there's some holes there, there's some things you go, is
this really a Super Bowl winning team? Like we're not sure,
Like they're not confident they can be beat even though
they haven't been beat. I think most people believe the
(07:15):
Chiefs can be beat.
Speaker 4 (07:16):
They do. I think they're vulnerable.
Speaker 1 (07:18):
I mean, there's a handful of teams like, listen, if
they go for some reason, if the Bengals get in
the postseason, nobody's gonna want to play the Bengals because
you're gonna have to score. Because they realize their defense
isn't great. It's cost them probably three or four games
this year, and Joe Burrow is probably like, dude, I'm
gonna throw four to six touchdowns a game to win
this thing. So that absolutely believe that the Bengals will
(07:42):
be a problem for the Chiefs, but the Chiefs would
ultimately win because of their defense. But I'm saying you
wouldn't want to play them. You'd be like, let's shoot.
Josh Allen would have something to say, though. Some of
these teams will say, hey, don't forget about us in
the AFC. And also again Lamar Jackson in the Ravens.
So those are kind of the few teams you would
look at in AFC say would be problematic. But again
I go back to with this Lions team, what I'm
(08:04):
seeing from them, Man, there there's to me what makes
them so compelling again is the way they're beating everybody
and not allowing teams to get back in and not
having close games. They're not letting the Bengals come back
and almost win. If you're the Ravens or losing to
the Raiders, or losing to the Browns or having the
Cowboys come back. They're not the Chiefs with all these
close games where Patrick Mahomes has to make a play
(08:24):
at the end to win it regularly, or the defense
saves the day.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
The Lions are coming in to whomever.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
You're a good team, you're a bad team, you're a
horrible team, And we're doing exactly what we came to do.
Speaker 4 (08:34):
Take care of business. Bust you in the mouth and
go home.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
And I think that's to me, what's compelling about them
is they're doing that night in, night out, weekend, week out.
And that's why again, I think some of these scouts
or whomever they were, are saying the Lions will beat
the Chiefs.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Think which would be good?
Speaker 3 (08:49):
Which will be a fun I mean, Lions Chiefs or
Lions Ravens will absolutely be awesome.
Speaker 4 (08:55):
Man, it's gonna be ugly.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
I'll say that they the Lions, Yeah, don't get to
the super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
I don't, I don't. I don't agree with ugly. I
think I.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Think from the standpoint that everybody they're overwhelming favors. They've
been rolling to start the season, playing bad teams, beating
them up like they should. I'm not knocking them for that.
You can't start out seven, Oh it is the best
start or whatever, and then peter a out at the
end like well, I think it's contexts what people will
be how did they lose?
Speaker 1 (09:25):
Did they look horrible? Did they lose to Many? The
worst team in the plug postseason? But if they go
up against you know, let's say the Packers in an
epic NFC championship game and they just happened to lose.
I mean, to me, it's a very It's disappointing because
you thought you never bowl. But they're on a roll,
like they've built something where for the next four to
five years, you know you're expect them to be contending.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Yeah, but I do think if you let the Packers
in the division, you'll be like, wait a minute, they.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
Came out of nowhere. We have been already established.
Speaker 3 (09:54):
We got a quarterback that's already been to a Super Bowl,
and Jordan Love has already beating you and took over the.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
George was thirty seven years old, been sitting on the
bench for ten years. George Jordan Love is a seasoned vet,
even though he's only played a year.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
The Lions are one. If the Lions do not get there,
it's going to be disappointed. That's I agree with disappointing,
But I don't think. I just think, listen, you covered
Lions for I went to all the games, and I
think that for them, they even be regularly expected to
but at some point.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
You got to get over there.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
You do because they because they did go to the
they did go to the playoffs. Yeah, I mean, let's
not make it like they've never been to playoffs. Like
I think that's the part that that kills me about
Lions fans is like they I remember when getting to
the playoffs and losing at all, that ain't good enough.
You remember that Bob Quinn when he was a general
(10:47):
manager and they fired Jim Calwell and bought in that
was Yeah, Like Jim Cowen made a playoffs the last
three years for Matt Patricia said it wasn't good.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
Ony Dungee was okay. Fire something.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Matt Patricia using a pencil on a laminated call sheet
make it make sense? Rob g That man had a
laminated its call sheet with a number two pencil in
his ear.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
That was Denny's menu.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
I don't know what I'm like, Come on, Matt Patricia,
what are you doing now? Y'all let Jim Calwell finally
brought some stability. They were one of the you know,
least penalized. You know, the Lions have been horribly disciplined. Finally,
I'm like, y'all let him go. That's why I was
mad at the Lions for like four or five years. No,
and I'm like, man, y'all, y'all have made me highly
upset right now, you can you can.
Speaker 3 (11:29):
Fire Jim Calwell, but it got it can't be Matt Patricia.
That's what I'm saying, like, like really, remember he was
fourteen and two with the with the cults, right they
and I thought he made a mistake there. They had
a chance to go undefeated. Remember he sat everybody I
thought was hot. Man, I know it ain't baseball where
you really want to stay there, you guys gonna stay
with a straight face. The hiring a coach who has
(11:53):
a pencil and a laminated play sheet was a bad idea.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
Big time that man.
Speaker 5 (12:00):
You know it's impossible to write an the laminated place
with the points.
Speaker 1 (12:03):
That's what we're saying. Why what was this man doing?
It was all an act? You know, look smart like
I'm taking notes, no food?
Speaker 3 (12:10):
You got a number two pairs of with an laminaated
sheet holding the iPad?
Speaker 4 (12:13):
What we doing? What we doing?
Speaker 1 (12:16):
You ain't heard from Matt Patricia since Matt Patrician for
Jim carrwill I was boring, Yes, he was stowing. Yes,
Were they the most exciting team?
Speaker 4 (12:25):
No? It just didn't make say.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
But that was Bob Quinn, you know, Bob Quinn bringing
in his buddy. Yeah it was bad, no doubt, all right,
eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Should the Lions
be seen as the favorites to win the Super Bowl
right now? That's what some gms and anonymous scouts and
(12:49):
front office people are saying. Should the Lions be seen
as the favorites to win the Super Bowl?
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Right now? We'll continue that conversation next with you.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
It is the odd couple, Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington

Speaker 3 (13:23):
I'm moving to Mexico because then I'll be able to
do a radio show there where I want to track
attention to myself and I'll steal the snow and I'll
be soft spoken.
Speaker 4 (13:33):
I'll just talk about other people and that'll be it.
Eight Fox MLB, Bro, Because you need to know I'm
going to whitewash that too. When I take it to
the last.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
MLB dudes, just be MLB, just all right, Rob Parker,
Kevin Washington. We are the Eye Cup on the Funky
Flashback Friday, Little James Brown All is good for the
soul eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox is the number. We're having
a conversation here about the Super Bowl favorites. A bunch
(14:11):
of pundits and folks all believe it could be the
Chiefs and the AFC, the Lions and the NFC, and
ultimately the Lions beating the Afs the Chiefs if they
get to the Super Bowl. So we want to hear
from you. Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Oh yeah,
by the way, we're broadcasting line from tyrack dot com.

odd couple?
Speaker 2 (14:49):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (14:50):
This is Rob Parker.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
I don't want to attract too much attention to myself,
but you're telling me.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
I'm to say it what it's sess what's happening? My man?
You're on the odd couple?
Speaker 6 (14:59):
Hey, what's going on? Going on? Fellows?
Speaker 7 (15:01):
Longtime listener, Thanks for having me. Trevor calling out of Alaska.
But lifelong Lions fan. I actually grew up in Michigan,
had season tickets the year we went oh and sixteen
or it was that rough. But I'll stay loyal to
the day I die. What I wanted to say is
I can't speak on behalf of all Lions fans, probably
most of us is with this level of success, we
(15:22):
don't even know how to feel like.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
It's a great point.
Speaker 7 (15:26):
Like Will Ferrell, I don't know what to do with
my hands that big a night. So I do agree
that Jim Caldwell should have never been fired. Matt Patricia,
I don't even want to go down that rabbit hole.
But uh, looking at our schedule and the remaining schedule,
what we've been doing, I absolutely do think we are
the favorite to win it. Over the Chiefs, over anyone,
(15:48):
although I would be worried about the Ravens.
Speaker 8 (15:50):
I gotta be honest.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Yeah, Ravens. They scare me just because Lamar's Lamar. And
you could even be down. Call Trevor, Thanks trev You
could be up fourteen seventeen, and that just the way
he score so fast, it makes plays.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
You look up and you're only up three? What the
what just happened? Who we got next? Raphael?
Speaker 4 (16:06):
Rafael and Cincinnati? You're on the odd couple, five thirty
five minutes left. You can you can't keep you keep
that up?
Speaker 6 (16:13):
Come on, fella, come on, Robbie man, you gotta perk
it up that Thank you Rafael?
Speaker 4 (16:18):
Tell him man.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
K k nop.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
They told me I'm too hyped, I'm too into myself.
I'm too self centered. So I want to tone it
back and let the show be about everybody.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
Were you about to put me to sleep? Would you stop?
Speaker 6 (16:35):
Don't do the z equill Hey, it's to me. The Lions, yeah,
they all right and everything. Man, I'm loving them, but
until the champions. To defend the current champions, Jody knocked
off that throne with that green eyed bandit out the
number fifteen. You gotta go with the Chiefs to win it.
To me, man, because remember they got incentive. They going
(16:57):
for the three pece.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
That's the good point and I'm not mad at that. Look,
they deserve that. They've They've had a wonderful five six years.
They've gone to four out of the last five Super Bowls.
They've won two, I mean three, they've won two in
a row, trying to go for four total, but three
in a row. So you're right, we can't dismiss them.
And they're eight No, and again they've been and.
Speaker 6 (17:18):
Another incentive. You know, they might be going for the
undefeated record. You never know, to get the Dolphins, you
never know.
Speaker 4 (17:26):
Yeah, I thought about that.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
We brought that up, I think last week where quietly
we're gonna look up and they might be sitting there
at twelve, thirteen, fourteen, and oh and then have to
make some decisions on how they want to finish out
the season.
Speaker 6 (17:37):
Ak doub Yeah you hip hop hit hit for sure, hit. Okay,
I'm one as well. I got my five albums hip
hop album, bring it right. I'm bringing it for you
because it changed the trajectory of all the galaxies in
the universe.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
And you're ready for me, I'm nervous for you.
Speaker 6 (17:57):
Let's go number one, And this isn't kind of chronological order.
Number one paid in full.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
I'm not mad at you just mentioned it. That's set
up the way rap will become for the future. I'm
not mad at that at all.
Speaker 6 (18:13):
Number Number two the Illmatic.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Not what an amaze?
Speaker 3 (18:19):
That might be the one you put in something and
send to the moon and say this is hip hop.
Speaker 4 (18:23):
That might be the album you I'm not mad at
that at all.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Number three.
Speaker 6 (18:30):
It takes a nation of millions to hold us back.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Man, we could probably use that album nowadays.
Speaker 6 (18:39):
I'm telling you we could get through. Number four the
low end sery vibe called Quest.
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Always Bump that I always go back and forth between
who I'll cast is my favorite, but they're right there
as far as my favorite group there.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
Right and these are the album these are to hit
probabouts that changed the whole course of the universe. And
number five it's the chronic.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Glad You know why you had to have something for
the West Coast. Yeah, that changed.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
That brought the whole gangs to wrap into it, and
just the g Funk era, the g Funk sounds so yeah, all.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
Right, I ain't mad at Raphael. All right, you got
some chops, you got some hip hop chops. You get
my up, you get props for me for that, Raphael.
I'm not mad at a single one of those.
Speaker 6 (19:26):
Honorvo mentioned number six. I couldn't get it in but
reasonable doubt, hobah.
Speaker 3 (19:32):
I'm out, all right, appreciate you, Raphael. All right, Rafael's
got some good tastes of hip hop. How you earn
some stripes with me? They'll be acting like youon know,
you know some of those Oh you.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
Know, I'm not This is me not doing it. This
is me not doing it.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
Lamar Mitchell bet MGM, Director of Trading.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
In just a moment, but right now.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeartRadio app search FSR to
listen live.
Speaker 3 (20:08):
All right, we are getting ready to get Lamar Mitchell
on bet MGM, Director of Trading.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
We'll have him on in just a bit.
Speaker 1 (20:14):
We are broadcasting line from ty iraq dot com studios.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Man just as Steve was just giving you some of
these scores. It's crazy wondering what the heck is going
on in Milwaukee, man? I mean, they just got to win.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
They had I saw headlines ever saying like this is
the best of duos play yesterday they both had thirty
plus points. You thought maybe that was something going on.
They get to get the rolling now there still was
now twenty four with about nine and a half left
in New York to the Knicks. I don't know what's
going on there, man. You just wonder at some point
do they feel like this thing can can they turn
(20:44):
this thing around? Or is this gonna be Are we
looking at where maybe Giannis's new home might be and
the Knicks they're saying it's a you know a handful
of teams that are interested in him. And that's partly
why there was a report that partly why they went
after Carl Anthony Thomas was to have a trading piece
being the Knicks, to say, hey, if you're honest, is available,
Hey we got Carly Towns if you guys want to
make a deal.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Yeah, it's gonna be interested to see how it plays
out in Milwaukee because it's pretty bad right now. I
thought that win might have helped him at least play better,
But my god, what a stinker coming off of a win.
What are they one and six?
Speaker 4 (21:20):
Or yeah, I think too.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
That was the second one. Yeah, that's pretty bad. This
is it's it's it just doesn't make sense. And the
way that you look at this team like they should have,
you know, championship players. They got enough guys to be
at least competitive. Nobody saying they had the best record
in the tire NBA. But it's much more competitive this right,
Lamar Mitchell joining us now getting bet MGM director of Trading, Lamar,
what's up man? Happy Friday to you tonight.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Doing good man, doing good. Appreciate you being here with us.
Let's get this thing started. Roger Goodell, well, he may
have on the fans in Germany. He may owe them
an apology because every NFL game that has been played
in Berlin so far has gone under the total by
at least eight points. In this time they are getting
the Giants against the Panthers, so that streak seems to
(22:10):
be safe if you're asking me, so I'm gonna ask you, Lamar,
what kind of action are you seeing on the total.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
In this one?
Speaker 3 (22:17):
All?
Speaker 8 (22:17):
Just like you said, everyone's founding this under on this total,
the Sharps are all under this on this total under
pig account that Joe public is all on this about
three to one in favor of that, although the money
is pretty even bet but the Sharks and Joe Public
of all betting this total under.
Speaker 9 (22:35):
The forty and a half forty two.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
We opened up this.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Game right here, all right, the Broncos, let's go here
er and three against the spread this season versus teams
with winning records. And yet we read today that eighty
percent of the money this week is Denver plus seven
and a half on Sunday on the road in Kansas City?
Speaker 4 (22:52):
Is that true? And are better really buying in that
the BRONC goes in this spot?
Speaker 8 (22:58):
Yeah? Absolutely, Rob, I mean the public has been on
this number here. The public is this is a public game,
and also the Sharks in this game. We open this
number originally nine and a half and the Sharks are
pounded this number down to seven and a half, So
this would be definitely I mean, no one is really
concerned with the Chiefs as far as being able to
(23:20):
cover that number.
Speaker 9 (23:21):
So yeah, definitely, the public and.
Speaker 8 (23:22):
The Sharks are on this on the Broncos here.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
All right, le's go to one.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
We've been having a conversation about Lamar's talking about the Lions.
The Texans are hosting the Lions on Sunday night football
Detroit comes in. We know that off is an incredible
Aftergan thirty two point three points a game, also the
highest point differential sitting in one hundred and ten right now.
But on the flip side, the unders Lamar they've hit
in seven of the past eight games for the Texans.
So is this really a case of the unstoppable force
(23:48):
and the Lions mean the immovable object of the Texans.
How much actions are you seeing on Detroit right now?
Favor by three and a half.
Speaker 8 (23:57):
Well, it depends on who you are. If your sharp money,
you're definitely taking the Texans. But if you're Joe Public,
all money on the line ten to one, as far
as tickets about twenty twenty to one. As far as
money on the side here, I mean, they're not giving
the Texans any shot, Joe Public, but the Sharps are
(24:18):
definitely taking the Texans plus the points here.
Speaker 9 (24:20):
So we'll see if it's gonna.
Speaker 8 (24:21):
Be Joe's versus pros.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
All right, everybody knows the Colts aren't a good team.
I think we can all agree on that. But even still,
they're five and one against the spread is underdogs, and
that's the only record we care about at least a
here on this show. So what kind of action are
you seeing with Indy plus four at home against the Bills.
Speaker 9 (24:42):
Well, you know, I do have some friends that are
actual Colts.
Speaker 8 (24:44):
Fan, so they really care about that record. They don't
care about the five to one gets the spread. But
going back to the number we care about.
Speaker 9 (24:51):
Here, Rob, it looks like the shops are on.
Speaker 8 (24:54):
The Colts here plus the four and a half which.
Speaker 6 (24:57):
Were down to four.
Speaker 9 (24:58):
Joe Public though, is definitely on the Bills, and they
are definitely backing the Bills with their money, and tickets
are about nine to one in favor.
Speaker 8 (25:07):
Of the Bills.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
All right, le's keep it rolling here, Lamar Mitchell again.
Of course, Bet MGM, director of Trading on with the
odd Couple, Rob Parker, kelvin Washington. Let's go with this one.
The Commanders with big offense. Man they ranked third in
total yards three hundred and ninety two. It also points
per game at twenty eight point four. But they've also
gone three straight games without a turnover, which is incredible
considering they have a rookie quarterback, so they are obviously rolling.
(25:31):
The only problem is this week they host the Stealers.
We know about that defense, TJ. Watt and the crew.
So how much action are you seeing on the total
in this game?
Speaker 9 (25:40):
Very little on.
Speaker 8 (25:41):
The total they bet this We open us at forty
five and a half, down to forty five, so not.
Speaker 9 (25:46):
A lot of action on it right now. We have
some players that have been pounded us.
Speaker 8 (25:50):
On totals, so I expect to see this number either
go up back to forty five and a half or
come down on Sunday. It looks like the money.
Speaker 9 (25:59):
On the total being bet right now.
Speaker 8 (26:00):
Is even and the transaction activity on the total being
bet is even as well too, So not a lot
of action right now. Sharps are laying off of this.
Like I say, we're right within the price range of
forty five right now.
Speaker 4 (26:12):
All right? We know the Bucks have hit the skids
three straight losses.
Speaker 3 (26:15):
Worse, they've allowed thirty four and a thirty four points
a game during this losing streak. This week, they're six
and a half point home underdogs with against Christian McCaffrey
and the forty nine ers. Where are the Sharps on
this one?
Speaker 9 (26:29):
Sharps are definitely definitely taking the.
Speaker 8 (26:31):
Bucks, even though they haven't played well these last couple
of weeks and they've been banged.
Speaker 9 (26:35):
Up on the offensive side. Sharks of the Bettaness plus
a five and a half also on this game here too,
the Sharps are Bettness total. We open this at forty
I believe forty fifty one. We're down a forty eight
and a half right now, so they're definitely betting this
game under here. But the public is definitely with McCaffrey
(26:56):
coming back, The public is all on the Niners at
about eight.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Yeah, folks that are obviously excited to see him back.
All right, so don't look now. But the Cardinals, Yes,
the Cardinals.
Speaker 3 (27:06):
They've quietly won three straight and four out of their
last five, and this week they are one and a
half home underdogs against Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Where are the Sharps in this game?
Speaker 1 (27:14):
I'm actually shocked they were underdogs, considering when I just
told you them winning so much.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (27:19):
Absolutely, this is kind of incredible because the.
Speaker 8 (27:22):
Cardinals have played some pretty decent football. But the Sharps
as soon as we open it said one. They took
the one and immediately bet that up to one and
a half.
Speaker 9 (27:33):
So the starts are definitely on.
Speaker 8 (27:34):
The Jets here. They believe the Jets have a newfound
magic coming back after selling for that win last week.
The public, although money is about three to one on
the Cardinals, and ticket transaction activities about two to one
in favor of the Cardinals. So this is another jes
versus pros game.
Speaker 9 (27:51):
Definitely like to say, the sharps are definitely in.
Speaker 8 (27:53):
The Jets and the public's and the Cardinals, so we'll
see what happens.
Speaker 4 (27:56):
All right.
Speaker 3 (27:56):
Last for me, not only does the I test say
that yes the Boys think, but the numbers do two.
Dallas is just one in six against the spreading their
last seven games. Is anybody betting on the Cowboys plus
seven and a half at home against the Eagles.
Speaker 8 (28:12):
You know, we talked about this lack week and no,
no point's betting on the Cowboys. Not even Cowboys fans
are betting on the Cowboys this week. The Sharks and
the pros, excuse me, sharps of the Jos all on
the Eagles this week, laying the wood. We open up
at six betting up to six and a half, up
to seven, and we're currently at seven and a half.
Money's about very early, but still two to one in
(28:34):
favor of the Eagles, and ticket transaction about.
Speaker 9 (28:37):
Two to one in favor of the Eagles.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
And I can see this game being bet up even
higher than that.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
All right, here is the man right there, asked the
Lamar Mitchell bet MGM director Trading Lamar. As always, man,
we appreciate you taking some time with us on a Friday.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
Thank you so much, brother, Thanks.
Speaker 6 (28:51):
For having us.
Speaker 9 (28:52):
You guys have a good weekend.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
You do the same, man, We appreciate you. I maketu
some interesting stuff in here. That cards too, and there
winning three eight, four of their last five going up
against the Jets, team that you know has been up
and downs, been struggling off seasons.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
So I was kind of shocked to see. I know
they're they're on the road, but I was kind of
still shocked to see that they'd be actually underdogs in that.
Speaker 4 (29:11):
I mean, it's one and a half.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Was basically a pick them, but uh, they've been having
some they've been looking good lately. Kyler Murray starting to
get that team rolling, all right, we got last call

some breaking news. Breaking news with the Lakers. I wouldn't
call it breaking news, but it is news. In the
wake of that whole fiasco earlier this week, JJ Reddick
(30:52):
has officially benched. He's bench the Angelo the Angela Russell
coming off the bench now after giving at what what
did he call a lack of want to on the floor.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
Yeah, I mean that's him not playing around.
Speaker 5 (31:07):
But I mean Bronni's still on the team, so it
ain't that tough.
Speaker 4 (31:09):
Yeah, well half the time, there you go, you just
said it.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
I mean, come on, now, he's supposed to take them
seriously like they're trying to send a message, and you're
making a spot for a guy who doesn't even belong
in the league. I mean, come on, this JJ Reddick thing,
this will wind up blowing up in his face. No,
I'm just saying in general, this will wind up trying
to be tough guy. Oh there, they had a bad
(31:33):
road trip. Let's blame D'Angelo. That's the reason that they
look went one and four in a road trip. That's
not the only reason I agree with that. I just
think you gotta be careful with doing those kind of optics.
Oh yeah, here we are, how many games eight games
into the season.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
Oh yeah, it's his fault. We're benching him.
Speaker 3 (31:50):
I'm telling you, if you don't do this, I'm gonna
play what And then Lebrono stand there as a statue
and let people run by him.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
You're not gonna do anything.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
Come on, man, one thing he's gonna have to You
gotta be careful about that. He's gotta have to learn temperament.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
Like just because you're running hot and you would have
done this, I could have This is why Michael Jordan said,
you know, like he couldn't coach because he would look
at everything is what I would have done. This is
what I would do. And JJ's viewing the game like,
where's would I would? And I think he means well
as far as trying to get f out of guys.
I totally understand that, but just running hot. Like I
told you, Shaan's reporting earlier that he's broken so many
(32:24):
clipboards already, I think that just can't be the way.
I'm mad at everything. I'm gonna cut guys out through
the media, I'm at everything. I'm gonna break clipboards. There
has to be a second trick, you know what I mean? Okay,
I got that, but what else? So he's gonna have
to have another another part of his game. And that's
a tough part about coaching. It's like being a parent.
(32:45):
You gotta discipline each child differently. Every kid ain't the same,
you know, And just being a coach just yelling breaking clipboards,
that doesn't work for everybody.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
Some guys.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
You gotta put an arm around him and say, hey, look, man,
come on, you know what we're trying to do.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
We're trying to build this.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Other guys you can break a clip Other guys you
can you know, you got maybe you go through the media.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
But he's gonna have to learn that. And again, this
is his first time ever coaching period, not just in
the NBA period, so he's learning on the fly, which
is kind of a scary situation when you've got a
team that their expectations are postseason and hopefully a title run.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
Good luck they ain't going on no title run.
Speaker 3 (33:22):
I mean that's you know, the Lakers expectations, you know,
so uh, we'll see if they can do that.
Speaker 1 (33:27):
But yeah, he's gonna have to just be you know,
he's gonna watch it. But I mean he said, listen,
if nothing else you can't say he ain't said in
the tone.
Speaker 4 (33:34):
If folks had issues.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
With Darvin Ham and his hands in his pockets and
not really saying anything during Remember he was just stand
up with his hand in his pocket and one, yeah,
whendn't you know, wouldn't kind of draw up things? Well,
if they had issues with that, then they can't have issue,
you know, maybe don't have issues with this with him
actually trying to do something to get something out of
this team, out of his roster. And d Loo, by
(33:56):
the way, too, has been in the league so long
at this point it's kind of like, all right, man,
Like I do agree that eight nine, however, many years
in with him, I shouldn't have to be coaching effort.
So all right, it's time now NFL picks you and pickoff.
Speaker 2 (34:10):
You ready to retire. The odd couple is gonna make you.
Speaker 7 (34:14):
Rich gambling corruptions.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
Their pig skin pickoff.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
It is the NFL pickskin pick off, the odd couple
picking NFL games against the spread. Before we look for
we gotta look back. It was a tough scene for
you guys right now.
Speaker 7 (34:27):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (34:28):
Dub went two and three, Rob went one and four.
So if you faded their picks, it was good. But
if you followed them, you are not getting that boat
that we promised that.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
I don't have a rough couple of weeks. I ain't
gonna lie. I can't lie to the people.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
You have not had a winning week.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
Whoa, whoaa, I said a couple of weeks. I just
say stay focused, and you know what. That's right, I'm
back hit me with him, all right, Let's get to it.
Game number one, pick skin pickoff.
Speaker 5 (34:51):
Steelers at the Commanders and Jayden and Daniels versus Russell Wilson,
Rob Parker, Washington three point home favorite till you taking.
Speaker 4 (34:59):
I'm gonna the Steelers. Uh they can't.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
The Commanders can't get lucky all the time. I'm gonna
go in with the Steelers winning a big game against DC.
Speaker 1 (35:11):
That's a that's a tough one. Uh Russell Wilson playing well.
Also that Steelers defense, Yeah, Jadon Day has a hiccup.
The Commanders have a hiccup this time. They still play well,
but they taken at So I'll give you the Steelers,
all right.
Speaker 5 (35:23):
Game number two the Denver Broncos against Kelvin's Kansas City Chiefs,
Patrick Mahomes and the Fellas seven and a half point
home favorites.
Speaker 4 (35:34):
W Dagan. I'm going Chiefs, but I'm not comfortable with that,
to be honest with you.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
But I do think they finally maybe have a game
where they look like a semblance of themselves, the old
the old them, and maybe they can win by you know,
ten points. Thankfully, that defense can make U make it
hot out there for Knicks.
Speaker 4 (35:51):
So yeah, so give me the Chiefs.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
Every game is closed when the Chiefs play. I'm gonna
go with Denver to just lose by less than seven
and a half. I just think the Chiefs don't blow
anybody out, they don't think about how well Mahomes played,
and they still need to overtime to even win that game.
Speaker 5 (36:08):
Hearing Rob bent On, Champagne's just funny how much he
hates Champagne.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
All right, I think that he's inflated. I'm just he's
overly inflated.
Speaker 3 (36:16):
Hes playter he or Ro Hubbles, No, I'm talking about
Chempayne everybody.
Speaker 5 (36:21):
The opposite of Tom Brady's football.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
So that's what he says.
Speaker 5 (36:23):
Inflated, not deflated, all right. Game number three, big skin
pickoff forty nine ers, six and a half point road
favorites in Tampa against Baker and the bus.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Rob You like, Tampa's too good to lose four games
in a row. I think they actually win this game outright.
They're losing a lot of guys though, Mike haven't. I mean,
they're they're they're banged up their brew.
Speaker 1 (36:46):
They're kind of turning it into the forty nine ers,
forty nine ers at least getting some people back cemcs back.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
I'll go forty nine ers.
Speaker 1 (36:52):
I think they maybe start rolling and start in maybe
five weeks having me looking at the lines, like, oh boy.
Speaker 5 (36:57):
Taking some big numbers there, Calvin a right. Game number four,
Aaron Rodgers in the Jets win and a half point
road favorites against Kyler Murray and the cintilatingly streaky Cardinals.
So you taking dub that one.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
This one's interesting, man, I give it. Give me the Cardinals.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
I just maybe Kyler Roller keeps rolling and uh it
was four out of the last five, they go five
out of six.
Speaker 4 (37:19):
Give me the Cardinals. I don't feel comfortable but that one.
I can't lie.
Speaker 3 (37:22):
Lock of the week. Jets win this game. Cardinals aren't
that good.
Speaker 4 (37:27):
They're not.
Speaker 3 (37:28):
I think the Jets winning against a good team and
to the Texans is all the confidence that they needed
to start playing better football.
Speaker 5 (37:35):
Taxans aren't quite as good as they you know last
one Sunday Night football and two when they lost that game.
Speaking of those Texans three and a half point road
underdogs against y'all's Detroit Lions.
Speaker 4 (37:46):
Rob who you like?
Speaker 8 (37:47):
You?
Speaker 4 (37:47):
All right? Don't any waste my time. I'm gonna take
the Texans. You just say they stunk. You don't believe
that I do. I'm taking the Texans. You don't believe that.
I didn't say they stunk. I said that that that
that don't even have any receivers. Uh, Nico's coming back.
I think he misremembers. Right, he's bad. They don't got enough.
They don't got enough offensive the Lions.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
Man there, you're having, folks, your interceptions, Yeah right.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
We have four touchdowns on eighteen passes. Fox Sports Radio
