Chris and Rob give you up-to-the-minute analysis of the Wild Card matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, take NFL on FOX analysts Sean Payton, Charles Woodson and Michael Vick to task for suggesting that Lamar Jackson should have played through his knee injury during the Baltimore Ravens’ playoff game and explain why they weren’t surprised to see Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings get bounced out early by the New York Giants. Plus, former NFL scout and author Daniel Kelly swings by to discuss Josh Allen’s propensity for turnovers, why he’s always been so high on San Francisco 49ers rookie quarterback Brock Purdy even coming out of college, what he liked – and didn’t like – about Justin Herbert’s performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars and much more!

R party. You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. It is
the Odd Couple. I'm Chris, He's robbed, and we are
live from the aforementioned tirerac dot com Studiostirac dot com.

(00:43):
They'll get you there wherever there may be. They got
an unmatched selection, fast free shipping, free row hazard protection,
and more than ten thousand recommended installers. Tirac dot com
the way tire buying should be Robbed. Dallas six, Tampa
Bay zero. Tampa Bay was moving down the field to

(01:04):
tie it up, but Tim Brady through it an interception
in the end zone and now Dallas has the ball.
And one thing I'm seeing rob and you are too.
I'm sure Dallas is really going to Tony Pollard a lot.
They should. We've been talking about a year, right we
we we love him. He was he was a yes

(01:25):
and all pro um to our pro bowler. I'm sorry,
so um, he definitely should be getting the rock, but
it seems like they're making a concerted effort to get
him more touches than than you typically see. They probably
feel like Tampa slow and he should be able to
really exploit him. But six, oh, third night, although I'm

(01:48):
not I got the first down, you're a little bit behind. Hey,
you know what, Chris, we forgot something the minute ago.
You know that what I nude? I noticed that, d
I know you did. It's like, we'll just keep it moving. Yeah.
Oh man, hear this song. So I'm cool with it.

(02:11):
I'm a woman, by the way. You know, I gained
some ground on you, and the pigs can't pick off
full within one. I gained two. I pulled within one.
All right, I don't play that. That's no go back.
I'm leading robs the La Chargers of the Eyes. Oh no,

(02:35):
I'm not, baby. I look at the cowboys. They they
looking good. Chris. It's early and I'm not saying the
game's over. Oh during the red shown again. But I'm
telling you take us not a score. So they you
get to you get a big lead, and you know

(02:55):
it's hard. Yeah, it's harden him to score. So yes,
we will see all um, Rob We've talked about Lamar
Lamar Jackson all week and we just talked about him
a little bit with Rod Woodson or t J. Houshman's
out of TJ. Yeah, and TJ was very passionate about that.
And I h it really interested too that TJ he

(03:20):
had a sprain a torn PCL and play it within
three weeks um and just had a sprained one. But
you know, there's a difference between being a quarterback, you know,
receiver though too. You I mean you you you running,
cutting and stocking. No, no, no, no, I'm talking about status,
status with money, is what I'm saying. I'm yeah, I

(03:43):
mean you know what I mean, like what TJ was
gonna earn as a player qu even so i mean
I'm guessing he had you know, he had a contract already. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
he's had his. I'm not saying that. But but what's
at stake ful Lamar is huge and and and anyway,
but but go ahead, but we you know, we've heard

(04:04):
mixed reports. Obviously, Lamar's tweeted that he can't play. Some
of the players have seen Marlon Humphrey back team said
he's limping around the facility. Others have said and the
TJ said he's talked to people that they think he
should be able to play. He even said players know
that Lamar, it's about the contract, but whatever the case.

(04:27):
Michael Vick, the legendary Michael Vick, Charles Woodson, the Hall
of Famer, and Sean Payton rob they ruin Fox and
this is what they said before the game about Lamar Jackson.
I don't like it. And they're in a playoff game,
and I get if he's not playing, but this whole
tweet out, let me explain my whole medical status. And look,

(04:52):
I'm hearing grumblings from a handful of folks there that
their teammates him feel like his process has been slow
more than expected. I just don't like it. The team's
more important right now than you, and we appreciate the
information on your injury status. Here not playing, I get it.
I don't see this player back in Baltimore next year,
and uh, I think he'll end up with another club. Yeah,

(05:15):
I look at it. If this team was you know,
two and fifteen, I can see him not coming back
and trying to finish out of the season. It just
seems that, you know, we all played this game to
try to win the Super Bowl, Like that's the main goal.
And if you have a good a team, that's good
enough to get to the playoffs. And we're not having
this conversation, but you're not having a like three games

(05:36):
you know, he's playing the game. I don't know if
I would have the balls to do it. I'm being realized.
But kudos to him. I mean, he's about his business.
He figures that. But like say, like you just said,
it's the playoffs, many game you three games away, put
a brace on it, get it going, and look, put
a brace on it. Let's go. Well it's hard. It's

(05:56):
hard to say that though, right if we don't know.
I don't know. I don't play the whole season on
the spray MCL horrible, just horrible. And I would have
asked Sean Payton, when when did you ever play with
with some injury or coach. You're like, like you had
a fully guaranteed contract, you know what I mean, like

(06:18):
like and then the other players t J. Houshman's out
of set. It just hey, that do you want to
know why Chris the players in the NFL don't get
what they should. It's because of people like those guys.
That's why did anybody challenge those guys. Nobody challenged them

(06:40):
or in that set. Yeah, well, Woodson was saying he
wouldn't he wasn't sure if he if Vick, if he
agrees with Vick. Okay, good, But I'm talking about the pushback.
Even Sean Payton talking about some football games another mist
of extra point that that's a bad at night for

(07:00):
Dallas already. But Chris, I just I have an issue
with it. And nobody went to say, well, why didn't
the Ravens give this guy what he needed to get
the contract started? You know what I mean, to get
him uh satisfied, so that so that this wouldn't be
an issue and there was a deal, they wouldn't negotiating.
They decided that they don't want to give him a

(07:21):
fully guaranteed contract, even though other guys have gotten it,
and they should have valued him and said to him,
we want you. You wont an MVP. You won seventy
five percent of every game you started for us. Our
whole team and offense is built around you. I mean,
I just I have a problem I do. I cannot

(07:42):
get over how people are talking about hell here over
the player here should go out there and blay, don't
matter what, just let your leg fall off. I remember
Brett Farve did that too. Do you remember the player
on the Packers. He was in a contract. I'm gonna
google it, Rob g can you google it? He publicly
up the guy Chris for not playing. The kid was

(08:04):
injured in the game after that without a deal, never
got paid. What do you think Brett Farve came back
and was like, whoa, I'm done. Let me huh Chris
Javon Walker? Anybody think up? Google it and look it up.
He trashed the kid about not playing, and the kid
would got wound up getting hurt and not getting paid.

(08:26):
That's all I'm gonna say. Well, I'm surprised at VIC.
And I don't think Charles Woodson, you know he didn't
he said he didn't know the extent. I got that, Yeah,
he didn't seem to be. But Sean Payton and Vic,
I'm surprised because usually ROB players and even X players

(08:48):
won't get in a guy's pocket. Yes, right, um, And
and I don't you know I've said, I mean you
and I said, I thought he should have sat out
the start of the season. He might have a contract
right now, you know, So I don't have a problem
if he indeed could play. I don't have a problem

(09:09):
with him doing what he's doing, because as Hushman's outa said,
and I agree, for the teams, it's always business, ye,
So why can't it be business for the player. They
don't want to pay you, They go, this is just business.
Say personal, okay, right now. What I will say, Rob,
is if Vic and like I said, to a much

(09:32):
lesser extent, Woodson and Sean Payton, if that's the way
they feel, and it sounds like Rob, that they have
talked to players or people in that organization. I mean,
Peyton said he talked to some players there, and they
seem to be getting information. Even Hushman's outa seems to
think he could play. Like they seem to be getting

(09:52):
information that he can play. And I'm gonna say this, Rob,
even though I disagree with their opinion, I applaud them
for speaking their mind. I mean, that's Rob, well you
and I always say athletes have to say they need
to go up there and speak their mind. You can't

(10:14):
be worried about Oh, I'm a former player, what will
the players think, Ye, I'm trying to coach again in
the league. They they're there to tell like that if
they've talked to people in the organization and that's what
guys are saying, and they've come to believe, hey, he
could play. Now you we might disagree with their opinion
on that, like hey, he should stay out and get paid,

(10:36):
but they have a different opinion. Now I do disagree
because I think I don't know that any of them
would do it if they didn't have the contract. But
I will say I'm cool with them speaking their mind.
Rob That's what we want from the ex athletes and
the players. I don't want them to just say what
is politically correct or whatever. I want them to say

(10:57):
what they feel. I disagree with what they feel, but
you know they have the right to speak. They could
say it absolutely. I just think when you really don't
and it doesn't matter, you could talk to a lot
of people, but if you if you don't know really
what's inside him, everybody's different, and if he really doesn't
feel like I'm not I'm a little gimpy or I'm

(11:19):
not really where I want to be, and I don't
want to put myself in harm's way, Chris not being
one hundred percent. He has a right to do that
as his career and his future, no matter what they
told you, no matter what his teammates said, no matter
what anybody else. And that's fine if somebody told you that,
and you feel confident that you could go on the

(11:40):
air and say, well, you know, I talk to people
and they think this, that's fine. I mean, who said that,
Marlon Humphrey. Because Humphrey said he's limping around the facility.
We knew he wasn't playing. Who said he's being a
good teammate? Right he who thinks? I mean, we could
other quotes from who's where he thinks? He complain Now
he thinks he's doing the right thing as you and
I because he's got to get paid. And because this

(12:04):
is why I'm saying, where where the Ravens are partly
to blame on this from this stampoint that this should
have been your priority on getting this guy's signed. This
is not Dak Prescott, Chris, where you where where the
cowboys were were him and in hard and they didn't
want them. This guy one of the unanimous MVP. This

(12:25):
guy's won seventy five percent of the games that he's
played that he's played in. This guy the offense runs
around him, Everything set to him. Do you know what
I mean? Like, if that's not a commitment to somebody
or worth making that commitment, then what is Yeah? They
I mean, I think they are philosophically against giving a

(12:45):
fully guaranteed contract, But I think that's gonna change. I
think the league. I believe somebody will give it to him.
I don't look if they franchise him on the exclusive
tag RIB where he can't talk with other teams, I
think he'll play because we said it. This is the year,
the only year he's gotten big money by NFL standards,

(13:07):
about twenty three million I think. And next year, if
he's franchise, he could get forty five to fifty So
I don't think he could turn that down. But if
they franchise him ROB and it's not the exclusive tag
and he could talk to other teams, my guess is
that another team will give him a fully guaranteed deal
and they'll probably get traded. So we will see, but

(13:29):
we're gonna throw it out to you guys. Eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fix eight seven seven, nine nine,
six sixty three sixty nine. Should Lamar Jackson have played
through his knee injury last night against the Bengals? You're
turning the way in, Chris real quick update. The Bucks
were going for third and thirteen trying to get a

(13:50):
first down, didn't get it. So on plays of where
they had third or ten or more old for their
last twenty three can you believe that? Well, Bray, he's
made some bad passes. Yeah, there was one he could
have hit a guy over the middle and he just
threw it short. So he's got it. He gotta wake
up if he wants to have a chance to win
this game, all right? Eight seven, seven ninety nine On Fox,

(14:12):
You're turned away in on Lamar Jackson? Should he have played?

should have? At least Michael Vicken and Sean Payton, a

(15:41):
Lamar Jackson and x Player saying he should have played
your thoughts all right, Chris. Let's kick it off with
DJ in Cincinnati. You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up, DJ? Hey, tell us, how y'all doing the day?
Doing good? Man? How are you? Hey? Hey? Here's the
comments I wanted to make you know, Lamar, I feel

(16:01):
Lamar shall do is best for himself, his health and
his family. No doubt we agree. And one of the things,
one of the things that that that's disturbing when I
hear those guys say. You know, those guys that you know,
they like to consider themself like gladiators and stuff. You know,
at all calls one on one, they get in there
and play the game. But you know, if he get hurt,

(16:23):
if he get reinjured, or if he played bad, just
think he'd come in and played bad. They're probably boy,
if you get hurt or injured. More here, he won't
get a big contract at the end. He won't get
a contract from another team. You know. And then you
see why you want guaranteed contracts. Yes, the coach guaranteed deal.
Roger Goodell has everybody has a guaranteed dealchulf for the players.

(16:49):
And how about the coaches. The coach you know, the
nerve they have making comments that another team offered them
some more money. Hey, who they think about then the
team of themselves when they go man, and it is crazy,
no doubt. Thanks to let me get in. Yeah, I
appreciate it. How about Roger and Nashville. You're on the
odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What up, Roger? How

(17:11):
are you? Hey, what's happening? Doing great? Doing great? Man?
Thanks taking my car. No, he shouldn't have played for
no reason like he should he really, he really shouldn't
have played the beginning of the year. Be honest with you.
I mean you got Chris said that he shouldn't. He
shouldn't have played. Yep, he probably have a right now exactly,
even if it is three wins to get to the
super Bowl whatever. What's to say he gets the reins
of that league and he can't play anymore for the

(17:33):
rest of the year. I'll mess up his whole career
and he doesn't get the money they wants. So no,
he shouldn't have played. Man, you gotta take care of himself. No,
no problem, thank you, Roger. Yeah, let's go to Jerome
and Charleston. You're on they couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What up? Jerome. He's gone a whole drone. He shouldn't
have done it this year, but he's going a whole drone.

(17:53):
I would oblige him. I'd been handling my own physics
spair controvers eighteen like nine years or the military. I
wouldn't step foot on another football field til I get
this contract straighting off, because I mean, this is ridiculous. Now.
I think if they offer him the franchise like the
exclusive where he can't talk to other teams, I think

(18:16):
he should play because it's still forty five to fifty million.
It worked out for Dak Prescott, it worked out for
what's the terms, and didn't it didn't work out. You
know who did that, lay Beyond Bell and how to
work out for him? Now, I know he's better than
let Beyond Bell, but lay Von Bell didn't even get
the same amount of money. So I'm just saying sitting

(18:38):
out another year, I don't think that's gonna help long
term or nothing. You say that, I doubt if they
put in fifty million dollars in face, I bet you play.
It's but he's not the right to should term. That's
why he should have set out. That's why he should
have shot out the beginning of like that that was
the time. If they offer him at this five to

(19:01):
fifty and either it's either sit out or play on
that I'm playing. Yeah, I mean he's gonna have to
at this point because he's put himself in that spot.
I think he Chris fifty million when you haven't made anything,
you know, and I shouldn't say that twenty three this year,
but you know what I mean where you relatively relatively speaking?
Uh So, he it was either he should have done

(19:25):
it already and that's the point you made, like that
was the time to play hardball before the season started.
We've talked about it before. How many times do we
see Jerry Jones ben you know, because the team started
out owing two that's when you get them when the
season can go. And I think we've I don't know
what your thoughts are on this. I think he should

(19:46):
have had an agent and that's where like for Lamar
and his mom to be doing this, and he cut
it off when he started the season, which I get
you want to focus on the season, but that's why
you have an agent so he can be talking to
him in the season. But you don't. You don't have
to have You don't have to have an agent. You
just have to have somebody Chris, a lawyer, somebody who's
going to read. Then somebody who's still know what I'm saying,

(20:08):
but somebody who's still like it's negotiating your contract. So
you don't have to you know, while you're you want
to focus on the season and play cool. Have somebody
else doing that part of the job. Yeah, I get it,
but there's also with the way money and everything structure,
you kind of know where you fit in and if
and if you can I mean, I get it, but

(20:30):
you know, just to negotiating, you know, because you don't
want to be you don't want to be negotiating personally,
right right, right, all right? We got Daniel Kelly, former
NFL Scout, around the corner, but first the low quitious one.

(20:52):
f SR to listen live. Our next guest is an
author and a former NFL scout. We welcome in Daniel Kelly.
Daniel Howard's up. Welcome to the odd Couple. Hey, thank
you for having beyond Robin Chris, how are you guys
doing tonight? We're good, man, and let's get to it.
We got a lot to talk about. Let's start with

(21:12):
Josh Allen. I know you like talking about quarterbacks. I
think he's like this generation's Brett Farve, which is kind
of a compliment. It's a great, you know, player, but
I also think he makes some mistakes that can cost
your team. And do you think that's a fair comparison.

(21:34):
I'm not saying their styles are automatically the same. And
do you think that that's ultimately gonna cost Buffalo this
season at some point in the playoffs. I really do
that that is kind of a good comparison, you know,
Josh Allen being kind of that gun slinger with that mentality,
like of course, Brett Farve we saw for so many years,

(21:55):
and you know, in your rights, you know, yesterday we
saw a lot of that, you know, in that Miami
game where he kind of started out efficiently and throwing
the ball well, and then he kind of just kind
of disappeared for a while there, and then he came
back and you know, played well again, and I do
really think it's going to cost the Bills. In fact,
I believe Cincinnati is going to go in there and

(22:17):
beat them next week. Yeah, there's a chance of that. Now,
let's see, you're not a Johnny Come Lately on Brock Purty.
You liked him all year. You even thought he was
better than Trey Lance before the injury. What did you
see and why did you think, mister irrelevant was this
quarterback that could get to the super Bowl. Well, you know, guys,
when I saw Brock Purdy back at Iowa State, he

(22:40):
just really struck me as someone who was incredibly efficient.
And that's something of course. You know that that Kyle Shanahan,
you know, it fits right into his offense, into his wheelhouse,
you know what he has in San Francisco there, so
you know, see seeing you know, once San Francisco was
able to get Brock Purdy, who I compared pre draft

(23:01):
for Si Detroit Lions to a rich Gannon type of quarterback.
When San Francisco was able to get Purty, you know,
immediately I thought, Wow, this guy is gonna be a
lot more efficient in San Francisco's offense than trade Lance.
And even you know, in college he had proven to
be more efficient with a completion percentage and such too.
So you know, I just thought was a real natural fit.

(23:23):
The way things kind of progressed and eventually Purty got
in there. I never thought once you know, once he
got in there, I didn't think he was ever going
to leave that that system or that offense was Shannon
I thought be a perfect fit for Brock Purty. And
it's proven to be that. And while he you know,
he really looked poised to me, guys yesterday against the
against Seattle there um, and what really struck me, I mean,

(23:46):
he didn't look like mister irrelevant, you know yesterday, And
what really struck me were his eyes. You know, the
confidence in his eyes as he was sitting back in
the pocket, the way he was moving around and he
was mobile. It just is somebody that that struck me
as as being way beyond his year as a rookie,
and especially way beyond being the last player picked in

(24:08):
the draft. He did a real nice job yesterday. He's
gonna be tough to be downe the stretch. Daniel. How
do thirty teams miss out on this guy? I mean
it's not like one or two missed out on him.
Thirty I mean thirty two. Actually, I mean, you know,
he's missed the irrelevance, so he's drafted at the last
player in the draft. Why didn't somebody see see I mean,

(24:28):
I don't know, I mean tell me that. But then also,
do you think he's going to be like kind of
their long term starter and a guy that has a
good career or do you think this is kind of
one of those you know, even though you like he
missed just a nice run, but he's not really a
starter in this league. Yeah, you know, it's interesting. I

(24:49):
think teams talk themselves on them guys, you know, and
and they look at the measurables and they kind of
you know him and hot about his arm strength and
different things like that. And you know, I think that's
why he fell in the draft. That's a great question
you're asking. I think every you know, brock Purty causes
every NFL general manager and scout to really, you know,
ask themselves. You know, you know that question is you know,

(25:11):
what what happened here? Because the seed Purdy come into
you know, these games and play like this for San
Francisco is you know, really really incredible and it really
exposes some you know, some some of the measurables and scouting,
you know, factors that teams look at the second part
of your question, I do believe that Brock Purdy is
a long term solution a quarterback for the San Francisco

(25:32):
forty nine ers. Uh, you know, I think he's going
to be their starter, and I think San Francisco's gonna
end up trading Trede Lance to give him a shot
somewhere else. Wow. Yeah, that that would be uh something
right there. All right, how about Kirk Cousins. You never
were a Kirk Cousins guy. Uh, he wins a lot
of games, He's won a lot of games. Couldn't win

(25:53):
the game that the big primetime game he never wins,
and uh, you know, just as stinker in a big situation. Yeah,
it really was. You know, I've never, really, like you said,
been a big Kirk Cousins guy. You know, he's always
you know, I go way back, you know when I
watched him playing Washington, and he was always someone that

(26:15):
always pitched you know, bigger numbers, you know, when it
really didn't matter or you know they're way behind, and
you know, then there was a playoff, there was a
chance to go to the playoffs. For Washington when his
contract was going to be up, and he looked just terrible.
I think was back in seventeen. I think it was
a game if I remember right, and you know, he
came out and just looked like a deer in headlights

(26:36):
against the Giants that day when everything was on the table,
including its contract extension. And I remember I wrote a
letter to mister Hazel with the Cleveland Browns and you know,
the owner out there, just begging him not to sign
Kirk Cousins. And then he went to Minnesota. I thought, well,
she's you know, this is going to be you know,
par for the course because the Minnesota Vikings have always

(26:58):
been a team since nineteen six, you just about that's
always overpromised and under delivered. And I saw while this,
you know, I'm from Minnesota, so I had a lot
of you know, friends and family back there, you know, saying, hey,
we got Kirk Cousins. I say, hey, guys, don't be
too excited. This guy's you don't gonna fold like a
tent when it's on the line. I mean, I've seen
sports bars before and predicted with my wife, you know,
when the game was on the line. You know, here

(27:19):
comes the big interception, and sure enough he throws it
and and you know, yesterday we just kind of saw
the whole Vikings team flatline again and you know, take
an early accent, and I know the folks up in
Minnesota really disappointed. What's happened. Kirk Cousins to me, is
great if you have a fantasy football team, but not
so great if you're playing for the real thing. You
mentioned the name Haslin, which reminds me of the Browns.

(27:41):
Um Deshaun Watson obviously came back. Didn't look great. I mean,
you're expected you to be rusty, got better, but yeah,
he never really looked like that old Deshaun. Do you
think he gets back to the old Deshaun next season
or that that ship is said, Okay, yeah, I do

(28:01):
I think he gets back. Yeah he did definitely did
look rusty. But I saw him come up against the
Commanders in that game. You know, when he pitched three
touchdowns a few weeks back, and you know there was
glimpses to say, hey, there he is, that's him. You
know he's coming back. And yeah, I just think after
a couple of years, I mean, Bill Parcels used to
have us saying, you know, when I worked there at
the Jets, you know, two years in the NFL is

(28:22):
a lifetime and it's a long time for de Sean
to be away from the game. But I think we're
starting to see, you know, glimpses as I mentioned of
him coming back, and I think that you know, a
full offseason, a full training camp, preseason, going into the season.
I think we're going to see QB one again. Last thing,
you got about a minute or so to go. Uh.

(28:43):
Obviously Brandon's Staley just like did a bad job. He's
done a bad job with the Charge. They had a
lot of talent, but also Justin Herbert was he was
a no show almost. Were you surprised that they really
because they were given all the points that they got
off the two turnovers, really but they really didn't put
together much in that game. I'm surprised. Were you about that? Yeah,

(29:08):
that was a little surprising, a little disappointing. Um, you know,
the Chargers are another one of those teams that always
teams do you know, the kind of under delivering when
it's on the line. And and the thing that really
struck me was was you know about you know, Justin
was just how you know, out of sink he looked,
and how out of rhythm that offense looked, and with
the chargers, and yeah, it was a really weird situation.

(29:30):
Like you mentioned, they got their points off the turnovers
and and uh yeah, that's that's a that's gonna be
an interesting situation to watch going forward. All right, that's
Daniel Kelly, NFL Scott, thank you. We appreciate the knowledge. Hey,
thank you so much, Chris and Rob for having me on.
Enjoy the game tonight, Yes, yeah, all right, more our
couple coming your way. I'm enjoying. Struggled, they lost, They're

You can learn more at Progressive dot com or one
eight hundred Progressive Rob Cowboys eighteen nothing. Are you ready

(31:00):
for this? I gotta I gotta staff for you. They're averaging,
Chris eighteen point four points a game. It's over, no,
I mean, Rob, Tampa has trouble scoring. When they Dallas
in Game one, it was nineteen to three. Dallas couldn't score.

(31:20):
I'm gonna be honest, I don't know if they can
they can score enough. Game's not over. I mean because
you know, we've seen a few things this weekend. I mean,
if da those are pick six, you get terms the
whole game and then you got to miss extra points. Chris.
You know, like so the game made ain't over. But
it just shows this is what we were talking about,

(31:42):
and this is why I had a you know, I'm
an anti Cowboy from the standpoint of I can't trust them,
and that's what I mean, Like, I'm with you on that, Chris,
But I've watched Tampa all. Yeah, I don't think they're
that good. They're not. I've said consistently, even as I
picked Tampa, Dallas is the better team and Tampa's not

(32:05):
very good. But I thought Dallas would just lay in
the egg and they have it, so credit to them
and Rod. Look, they make it interesting if they win,
because you know, then they you know, maybe they can
get who would they play, Rob G. They would get
um San Francisco. That be if Dallas comes to play,

(32:27):
that could be a really good game. If they don't,
they might get shellacked, Rob G. The numbers for Tom
Brady eleven for twenty three, Chris ninety six yards a pick,
and a quarterback rating of forty three or forty one.
Forty one doesn't look good. No, he's been short on
a lot of throws. He doesn't look good at all.

(32:49):
He looks every bit of forty five. And he's lucky
because the big talk would be how bad Brady is.
But you do have the missed extra points, so people
are gonna be talking about that. But Brady hasn't looked good.
And this is what we've been talking about all year,
Like they have struggled in the idea that Brady's old
for his last twenty three when he needs ten yards

(33:11):
Chris on a third and ten player more, He like,
you could throw a six year pass and somebody can
run for the other four or five yards, do you
know what I mean? Like old for twenty three that's shocking. Yeah,
I mean, but like you said, if you've watched them
all year, this is how they've been. That does I mean,
that's that obviously is sobering. But right, I mean, they

(33:33):
just they've been bad in the red zone. They were
the worst team, weren't they. They run game is horrendous.
Like they have not been a good team. But I
thought Dallas, which I thought Dallas would kind of beat themselves,
Tampa would play better. But Tampa is not. They're not
playing well. And Micael Parsons this credit has has really

(33:54):
put his imprint on this game. He almost had an
interception he got to Brady. Yeah, no doubt about it,
no doubt you gotta get We gotta give that credit.
He shown up fifteen for twenty one hundred eighty nine yards,
three touchdown, two passing in one rushing. I mean, come on,
he's played great. I mean, and obviously there's a lot

(34:16):
of football left and I'm sure that they stressed that.
Chris from what we saw from the weekend. Do not relax.
Don't think the game is over because we just saw
it all weekend. If I was in the coaching I
was in there, that's what I would be saying. I
don't care what the score is. Oh yeah, absolutely absolutely. Well, right,
we got some good news for you as well. On

(34:37):
the NBA hardwood, Lebron is playing tonight against the Rockets,
so shekel City. You're literally be in good shape, although
you know that doesn't automatically mean to win anymore minus
three and a half. Chris, I'm thinking about it. I
never tell you how much I bet, but I'm gonna
tell you right now, seriously thinking about putting down five

(34:58):
hundreds on that game. That's how confident I am with
the Lakers right now. Wow. Wow, that's interesting. Could be
a mistake, but hey, when you're when you're when you're
swimming in money, I'm not swimming. I'm drowning. I don't know.
Robin's kind of bow when you hold the two cats
behind the glass. Fifty bucks right now? Right, well, I

(35:20):
make it four hundred US. I'm saying, how am I
gonna pay you? So I'm trying to figure out I'm
trying to make money so I could pay him man man,
all right, right, well we'll see if the Cowboys can
keep it up. Kirk Cousins, Um, did you We We

(35:41):
never believed it. We didn't, not for one minute, Chris,
remember that. And when we when I did the top
five every week, I don't know, they might have been
in there one time, you know what I mean. But
we never we never bought into them. We just didn't.
And Cousins, look, we know what Kirk Cousin. He's a
good quarterback, but he's not great, and he certainly isn't

(36:06):
awesome in the huge games. But and everybody's jumping on
him for the fourth and eight play and he threw
a three yard pass and all that, but I think
and he could have done more, of course, But Rob,
they scored twenty four points. That's their season average against
the defense that only gives up like twenty two. So

(36:27):
they did. The offense did. It's what it does defensively,
though we know the Giants have not been a good
offense all year. They averaged twenty one points a game.
They scored thirty one. And I want to say, like
the Daniel Jones love Chris, he played he played well,
I'm not taking that away from him, but the Vikings
are awful. Well, like you said at three, he had

(36:50):
three three hundred yard games this year, two of them
against the worst defenses in the league. So we'll get
to the Daniel Jones the story because you know a
lot of people are going crazy. Uh, sae Quon Barkley
called him elite people saying he's gonna get forty million.
You know next year we will, we will get into that. So, uh,

(37:14):
it's the couple signed off on the Magic City Monday,
three and out for the bus, another three and out
for Tampa Bay. Keep it locked here on Fox Sports Radio,
Jason Smith and Mike Harmon. You know what they bring, fire,
