great inside Rob G.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
I know I did well, No did not do well.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
That means we did about the same. Then, Yeah, I
think we might have tied because I did. Anybody wain
or retired.
Speaker 4 (01:27):
It was a tie, but we were all losers. Yes,
I think I got that. I picked the winners right,
but none of them covered like I had the That's
why it's called gambling. No, I get it. Trust me.
Speaker 3 (01:36):
I'm just saying, like I picked. I don't want to
hear that you picked him and he didn't picked him.
I just didn't cover.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Then let's just do pick them straight through. I would
kill you then.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
By the way, quick text from Lamar Mitchell. He said,
yesterday morning, tell Robin Calvin, great job last week. New
restaurant breaks ground in November.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
You go very nice? Yeah to go there as a
new towel, I gotta get there. Well, there's plenty of space.
Speaker 1 (02:02):
I mean, we're helping out, we're putting all the money
on it, and we probably gave him some more money.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Peop might have listened to us. I'm not being.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
The attendance or you know, the autism is down. Is
no way anybody anybody I know anybody telling you that.
I'm just from me being there. I've been robb g.
You remember how often I used to go to Vegas,
like every two weeks at one point, you know, a
couple of years back, when it was rolling people all that,
(02:31):
I was surprised we couldn't find a restaurant that stayed
open late and Vegas.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Dana White, I heard him, he was on the cow
heard he was going crazy when Colin asked him that
what I can't believe people were saying that man, Vegas
is Vegas in right now? He was going he was
going off. I thought he was about turning the USC
fight all right.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Also, last call coming up in case you couldn't get
in earlier on the program. We know some people called
couldn't really get through. But Rob g Gronk, who had
some stuff to say about the Kansas City Chiefs who
will not make it to another Super Bowl in the
next nine No, that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
So we talked about this quickly yesterday talking about the
Jalen Hurts Mahomes rivalry conversation. Patrock Homes has never lost
three games in a row in his career period, point
blank crazy. If they lose on Sunday, it will be
his third straight loss as a starting quarterback. Two of
those will have been to Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speaker 6 (03:29):
Well.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Rob Grunkowsi, super Bowl champion Fox NFL analyst, was on
the Up and Adams podcast earlier this week on FanDuel,
and he discussed what's gone wrong, especially recently with the
Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
Take a listen.
Speaker 7 (03:41):
The Philadelphia Egles open the floodgates last year in the
Super Bowl versus the Kansas City Chiefs, like, hey, we're
not afraid of this super you know of the super
team Kansas City Chiefs that are very very well known.
I feel like a lot of teams last year had
that fear. Oh I can't swing on the Chiefs, you know,
we can't give them our best shot because they're so
(04:03):
well known and everyone is you know, is talking about them.
So the Kansas City the Philadelphia Eagles punch them in
the face. The Chiefs didn't know how to react to
that because no one else was doing that while going
into this year. Now, the Los Angeles Chargers punched them
in the face. The Chiefs were like, whoa, They're coming
at us. How do we react? Well, they didn't know
how to react because no one was doing that before.
(04:24):
So the Philadelphia Eagles open that floodgate of Hey, if
you punch these guys in the face, you take it
to him, you come out swinging, They're gonna fold and
they're not gonna be the team that you've been seeing
all last year.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
All right, I absolutely disagree. I think it's the opposite.
I think for now, maybe four or five years, they
get the best. They get everybody's best punch. This is
most teams super Bowl rob everybody doesn't make it to
the postseedons some teams who do barely making it not
that great. I think every team every week they come in,
they're getting what each team has. And sometimes you might
(04:59):
get a Easton punch. It might be a Floyd Mayweather
where you punch me up a few times in the
first round, then I come back and dominate you the
second half of the fight. Or sometimes people just ain't
got to punch at all, and I'm Muhammad ad Lee
dodging that thing. So to me, they've been able to
take everybody's punch for years now, whether it was they
were an explosive team and they were scoring a bunch
of points, whether they're more decon dunk. The last couple
(05:19):
of years, Tall the way to the Super Bowl. Now,
they did get smacked up by the Eagles. I think
the Eagles just absolutely dominated the front line on both
sides of the ball. They had the bigger, stronger, faster,
hungrier guys.
Speaker 4 (05:31):
We already know.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
The Kansas City Chiefs offensive line was terrible. Mahomes was
running for his life, they were injured, they were missing players.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
So I just think that's what you got.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
The Eagles were just a flat out better team, studs
on both sides of the front line, offensively and defensively.
Speaker 4 (05:44):
So that's how I see that. And also a couple
of years ago, all the.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Way to the Super Bowl win, the Chiefs went every
game down ten at some point and still came back
every game.
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Every game in the Super Bowl run.
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Dam we got down ten most teams, Oh man, maybe
you come one, maybe two. Every single game they were
down to, including the Super Bowl, and they came back
and won. I think they know how to find a
way back. So I don't agree with Gronk on that one,
just because again history has shown they've taken people's punches
and come back and one and two, and again the
last year fifteen to two. You don't think everybody else
(06:17):
was trying to Mike Tyson them and knock them out
throughout the season. They just withstood those punches until they
finally went into the ultimate Bully and the Eagles.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Yeah, I think what Gronk is saying is and I
think even with the record that they're not that they're
not that team that you thought you couldn't be, Like
a lot of teams had them in that spot, couldn't
finish the deal. They don't look as powerful as they did.
(06:50):
It's not the same Patrick Mahomes that you're afraid of
that he's gonna do something. There's something like like the
like the armor had has been beaten down a little bit.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
I think that's really what he was saying.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
I hear your point on what teams have done and
they get up for the Chiefs and all that, but
I do believe like the Chiefs are wounded. And I
think that you saw last year when they played a
really good team, they look mortal. They did they look
like like you know, we talked about it, Yeah, like
(07:24):
a lot of people. I mean, I did pick them,
but was I surprised at how bad they looked and
how bad they got throttled. That was different and I
think that's what Gronk is talking about, because they did
get punched in their mouth in that game by the Eagles.
But it was more than that. It was that the
Eagles were a really good team and they keep skating
(07:45):
getting by and a team shooting themselves in the foot
and making a key turnover or missing a field goal.
You know, so you look and go, well, don't matter.
All they got to do is win. And that's that
I gave you. Was remarkable, It really was. With percentage
of throws over twenty five yards and the other teams
(08:06):
that were right there in the same way, they were
three and fifteen where they should be because they can't
advance the ball down right, and yet they were exact
out there were fifteen and three Like it just didn't
even it doesn't compute, like all those teams should be
down at the bottom right. If you can't convert those things,
you can't stretch the field. You have to become one
(08:26):
dimensional as far as dunking and duncan and there's no
big play over the top, you know that can change
the game in a minute.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
It was very interesting to me. I just think, but
again that's to me, we've known for years now. We
have seen the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
They're the team, you know, They're like the Lakers when
the Lakers are rolling or the Warriors. My team sucks.
We ain't going to postings, but danget, the Warriors are
in town. I'm going to the game. We gotta beat them.
This is our NBA finals. Here comes Shaq and Kobe.
We have no shot, but dang it, I'm going to
the game. This will be fun if we can beat them.
This is our NBA Finals. This is to me teams
(09:00):
for years. We can beat Tom Brady and the Patriots.
Speaker 6 (09:02):
Danget.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
We had a good season. It was fun, you know.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
And so I think they've been People have been trying
to punch them in the off. They just can't because
they have a variety of ways to win.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
They've won historically putting up a bunch of points. Not
the last couple of years.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
They're just dink and dunky and get all the way
to Super Bowl when won a couple years ago, last year,
get right back there. So I just think I don't
agree with this point. I think they've taken everybody's punches
and they keep finding a way to keep marching along.
Speaker 4 (09:29):
And they just got beat by a better team, the Eagles.
I just don't think they're the same, Rob you gotta.
Speaker 5 (09:33):
I actually agree with Gronk a little bit on this one,
and that's because situations are obviously, like Buffalo and Baltimore,
they're different, right, because they're the only two teams, I
guess you could say Burrows Bengals as well, where they
would play them and they would be like, hey, not
only are we eye level, we're a better team than you.
And it just something would go sideways, or Patrick Mwonans
would happen and a missfield goal whatever, or Jay Flowers
(09:56):
at the one thing that didn't.
Speaker 4 (09:59):
Happen right that changed the game.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
But these other teams, like my Raiders, like the Broncos,
like the Chargers, on certain occasions, they would get into
these points where even if they got ahead, rather than
trying to win the game, they'd be like, we got
to hang on, had to hang on. We got them right,
they're up ten, there's nine minutes left. We hang on,
we play field position, we're gonna win this game. And
they get tight because they're waiting for that Chiefs Avalanche
(10:22):
to come, like, hey, we've got to hold on, and
you guys know this, as you guys been covering sports forever,
not just in football, but a sport. When you're playing
not to lose instead of trying to win is usually
when you lose. And what the Philadelphia Eagles did in
that Super Bowl is they came out, they smacked them
in the mouth and instead of saying, all right, here
comes the.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
Retaliation, here comes the haymaker coming back.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
We're gonna hit him again, and we're gona hit him again,
and we hit him again, and then we'll see what happens.
And then that's the Chargers, not as talented obviously upfront
as Philadelphia did.
Speaker 4 (10:55):
The exact same thing.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
Because when Patrick Mahons finally got going in the second
half of that game last Friday, justin Herbert in that offense,
they're not gonna run the ball. They came out on
the last drive and he throws the ball on first down,
and on second down they do a playack and he
runs for the first down. They went ahead, won that game.
They were gonna wait and what's gonna come out.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
I'm glad you said that, and congrats to them, and
you're right what we have seen could change this year.
But I'm all about history. What we have seen is
everything you just mentioned is not what happens in the postseason.
Justin Herbert scrabbles, scrabbles, runs for it like he did,
and he gets tripped up three yards short of the
first down.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
They go for it on fourth or something. Crazy, Chiefs
get the ball, they win.
Speaker 1 (11:36):
So everything you're saying is right, I hear you, except
for the Chiefs still find a way to win it.
Even in that game you just mentioned, Justin Herbert doesn't
get that first down, we all go the Chiefs are
about to find a way to win. And that's why
everybody was like, wow, finally look at Justin Herbert because
he had been two and seven against them beforehand. So
to me, I think it's almost like again Floyd Mayweather,
(11:56):
we're ignoring the ignoring the fact that, like they've taken
everybody's best shot. I can't help it if I just,
you know, sometimes the fight's gonna be a little boring.
But the fact is, I keep winning, and that's just
what they've done. And I think, aside from the Eagles,
they never just really gotten beat down like that.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
That was telling though, as as bad as it was,
and I told you all year you notice that they
weren't gonna win a super Bowl because I was like, dude,
they're getting away with it. They're winning games, but they
really haven't played what they need to do in order
to win a super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Throw both of you, Robs. Their offensive line is good?
Is what happens in that game? You can still say
they can win. I'm just because Patrick Mahone's running for
his life every play. If that offensive line is how
it had been historically.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
What do you think? So you say no, Still, what
do you think, Roger? If their offensive line was as
good as they had been like earlier in their line, Yeah,
like you know just what they normally have. They still lose.
But it's not that bad, right, It's a game and
they lose. I'm with you the reason why.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
So I bring it up to say to you that's
where it gets interesting because if he's in that game,
oh my, and they're down ten, like I've stated, we
all go, oh shoot, hold on, here they come because
that's all they need. But that offensive line was beating
battered and they just got that's cool.
Speaker 4 (13:18):
But that's called football like like and that's why I
got smoked.
Speaker 3 (13:22):
But they've taken advantage of other teams that don't have
staff or or they miss up an interception or drop
it or whatever, you know what I mean, Like we
could see here all day, Like there's plenty of opportunities
that to me, the Chiefs got it, you know, had
something work in their favor, the offensive line when they
lost to Tampa Bay. Remember they got steamroll than that.
(13:44):
Patrick has had a couple of really bad Super Bowls, like.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
Oh he hasn't made spect even those aren't the games
where he would say, look at my highlight reel that
ain't Those aren't the games.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Even in this wins.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Rob g at one point he had like eight touchdowns
and six picks in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
What's his heads?
Speaker 1 (13:58):
I think he's ten and seven is a tennis in
his career, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (14:02):
Like, no, listen, and two of them were garbage time touching.
Speaker 1 (14:05):
Jalen Hurts is definitely looking like I'm the super right
even in the.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Super Bowl, the last one, remember that with the long
touchdown throw like in a blowout.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
So I'll just keep taking my chances getting there, all right?
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox is the question
is Gronk right about the Chiefs? Will they fol if
they get punched in the mouth again on Sunday against
the Eagles. We'll continue that conversation next with you. Eight

the hour, we're gonna do our last call and NFL
Pickskin Pickoff and we'll see where we did last week.
And I don't think we did too good, but they
get there's another week for redemption. Grog had a lot
to say, basically about the Chiefs. He believes you punched
them in them off like a Mike Tyson punch or
a bully, that they'll back down, using the Eagles for
an example, Rob Gi added the Chargers, I say, dude,
(16:52):
they've been doing this for four or five years. Nobody
really punches them. They even come back many times as well.
Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox, Let's take a call.
Speaker 3 (17:01):
Let's uh, let's go to Andre in Massachusetts. You're on
the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Dray,
how you doing?
Speaker 9 (17:10):
Thanks taking the call?
Speaker 6 (17:11):
Happy Friday.
Speaker 9 (17:12):
I got to diverge and disagree with Gronk on this
one that the Chiefs said they're gonna get punched in
the mouth. They're gonna battle back the differences. I don't
believe they'll be able to come back as in years past.
I think this is a different team. It's a different season.
That's what we call saw the first game of the
season against Tarball and the Chargers. They have the resiliency,
they have the culture, Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes cals, they
(17:34):
have the veterans. So they're gonna you know, you don't
become a multiple time Super Bowl champion beating yourself right,
that situation in Baltimore. Frankly, that's why they haven't been
able to break.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
I agree with you, Dre, but let me say this.
Let me say this, hold on, don't go anywhere. But
I think in the past they were able to do
that and be able to come.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Back and win.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
I'm just not so sure anymore, like like like that
magic poaching is still available to them because they're just
not the same. You're not afraid of Patrick Mahomes is
gonna throw it over my head now if you play
it right, it's not going downfield a little bit. You
can play them better because one thing that used to
(18:16):
be a big weapon is not there anymore. Listen, give
them six more weeks, he'll be back, right. Do you
understand what I'm saying?
Speaker 6 (18:23):
No or no, We're we're in alignment robins.
Speaker 9 (18:26):
I just feel the culture is there. The bottom line,
they don't have the core talent. They don't have the
explosion this that they once did.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
The last quick question, Dre, real quick, I hear what
you're say, meaning I get it. I don't think they're
world beaters right now. And there's a handful of team
maybe you know, three or four that you could say
you see being better than them, and I wouldn't have
I'd get it.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
But does that mean they're not getting in the postseason?
Speaker 1 (18:48):
Because my point is if they get to the postseason,
aside from how they played against the Eagles, I mean,
do you pick if it's if they're going into postseason
inflacing Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen, you're taking them over
them like we've seen this.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
No, I'm taking I'm taking Lamar or Josh over there.
I am. I just did you should not be an arrowhead?
I know that.
Speaker 3 (19:07):
Or Joe Burrow if they had a deep, decent defense,
I would because he's beating them before to get in
the Super Bowl. I'm saying if they had a decent defense,
I just think that that that time has come where
the Chiefs just aren't the same Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
There's a three hundred and seventy five million dollar man
who's sitting here laughing at you, Tom Brady right now.
He's like, yeah, remember them years I was done. Yeah,
I came back and got a bunch more. Yeah, nine
years he went nine years with I won the Super Bowl.
That's when ELI beat him twice.
Speaker 4 (19:33):
You remember that? Oh yeah, I remember he let's getting
in the Hall of Fame off those two wins. He
hanging on.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
That's all he got, Like, please show us your resume.
Two throws? What else?
Speaker 3 (19:42):
So he's top ten in touchdowns, top ten, and stop
with the two throws.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
He's top ten and not a single defense in the
history of man. We gotta worry about him, they said,
we gotta worry about to ten and Joe and straight
hand nobody they wouldn't worry about him.
Speaker 4 (20:01):
I know he don't like us anymore.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
But if and when Eli's up for the Hall of
Fame again, I gotta get Rod Woodson on so he
can we can boycott.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
Then he might give us Jackie back.
Speaker 5 (20:13):
I've never seen anyone get that mad about another guy's
Hall of Fame tame.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Ost which is crazy because you know why, because he's
sitting there with Hall of famers and thinking this guy.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
Was he was gonna be in a photo op like
this freaking guy over the Football Hall of Fame when
they let ten people in. That's a special place. But
you remember, he was mad, and Rod don't get mad.
But Rod was.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Mad because he's looking at himself and others like he
know he ain't us. All right, we got Lamar Mitchell,
bet MGM, director of Trading on the way right now,

Speaker 3 (21:23):
And Lamar quickly before we get into the NFL.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
You've got a super vite in Vegas tomorrow night.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
Canelo and of course Crawford Canelo is the naturally the
bigger fighter, so is it no surprise that he's the favorite,
but just curious what kind of action are you seeing
on Crawford here?
Speaker 6 (21:43):
How you should ask that Rob because even though Canelo
is the favorite, we just took a huge and I
emphasized you seven figure on Crawford that plus one.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Drake pulled up?
Speaker 2 (21:56):
Wow?
Speaker 3 (21:58):
Or was it that furniture guy from Houston? The mattress
was not mattress.
Speaker 6 (22:03):
Meant one of those, but it was one of our
boxing officionados that came up and I said he wanted
bet seven figures on Wow. He just got the bet
down about fifteen minutes ago.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
Very nice. I'm looking forward to that one.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Just you know, I don't It's one of the rare
times I don't have to overly pick, like I want Bud,
but I just want a good fire.
Speaker 4 (22:23):
Do they do they have.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
To carry all the money with them to the window
or do they have to like you know what, I
wire it wire it to you? Like what well will barrow?
Speaker 4 (22:33):
What do you do?
Speaker 6 (22:34):
Yeah? He brought the will barrow. He brought the will barrow. Wow.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Yeah, that's a different lifestyle. I'll maybe be there at
once some point. All right, let's go to this, get
to some football. You could argue the only team lamar
who looked worse than the Patriots in week one, and
they really they did. They looked awful was the Miami Dolphins,
so much so they had to have a player's only
meeting after Week one. So a little bit surprised when
I read this morning that eighty percent of the money
in this game is on New England plus two and
(22:59):
a half. Is this it's the scenario with the Pros
and the Joe's are actually on the same page, you.
Speaker 6 (23:05):
Know, It's it's balanced out for us a little bit
right now because ticket count and money on the side,
it's about even right now. So, but the Pros have
been all over all over this game. Initially when it
came out, they took the Patriots plus the two and
a half, they took the Patriots plus the two, and
(23:25):
they bet the Dolphins from one and a half up
to two. So we're holding steady right now. But the
Pros have been on both sides of this. But money
right now, it's just come in late later today even
and even ticket transaction has been even on that.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
You guys are winner, that's what you want. That's that's
when you know you got the right line when it's
perfect like that.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
All right. The big game of the.
Speaker 3 (23:45):
Weekend, obviously is Eagles and Chiefs in a rematch of
last year Super Bowl. And the last time we saw
these team square off, Philly beat them like like they
stole something. I mean, it was pretty bad. Are the
betters expecting more the same on Sunday?
Speaker 6 (24:00):
Yeah, looks show. I mean, the pros are not on
this game. They like the number right now. But the
Joe's money and tickets are about two to one in
favor of the Eagles on this Everyone's betting this game
over too, so they expect the high scoring game. And
if it's a high scoring game, that might be an
advantage of the Eagles. But the Joes are definitely on
(24:22):
the Eagles here side and ticket count.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
All right, let's get to another one here, Lamar Mitchell
again our guest bet MGM director of Trading.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
We do it every week with them.
Speaker 1 (24:30):
One of the big stories, Lamar of the week involves
the health of the forty nine ers.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
My goodness, I mean, attorney kid out there.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
George Kittle got put on IR and now Brock Peridy
is expected to miss a month worth of football with
turf tow and as a result, the line in their
game against New Orleans Saints or the Aints has moved
all the way from niners minus seven to niners minus three.
Speaker 4 (24:50):
Was the line movement, of course detected?
Speaker 1 (24:55):
That should I say, dictated by the oddsmakers or the
betters in this scenario. And what kind of action are
you seeing in this game? It's difficult. The forty nine
ers should be the better team, but they're out with
their quarterback. I got a headache, Go ahead, you bet
t I can leave.
Speaker 6 (25:08):
Yeah. Actually, the starts have been all over this number
when they knew block party was heard. I mean they
fit to points early early, early in Hamburg. The line down.
But the Joe's the Joe's, they should have faith in
the forty nine ers. They don't have any faith in
Pencer Rattler. I mean, this is perfect scenario, Joe's versus pros,
(25:30):
and even the Sharps are betting this game. They bet
this total from forty four and a half all the
way down to forty and a half, So they don't
expect a lot of scoring in this game. And it
looks like, you know, they're on the side of the Saints.
But we'll see what the public thinks. The public definitely
back in the forty nine ers, even though they're banged up.
Speaker 3 (25:46):
All right, the Ravens looked like the best team in football.
I mean for three and a half quarters last week.
Whenever you score forty points on the road, I mean,
come on. So it's no surprise that they're currently going
off as a eleven and a half point home favorites
against Cleveland. I have to assume that the better are
all over Baltimore in this spot, right that they're going
(26:08):
to try to turn that bad loss around.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
Absolutely, Money is about three to one in favor of
the Ravens. Actually, the ticket counts about three to one
in favor of the Ravens. We did initially open this
game up at twelve and a half. The Sharps got
in on that, but then they laid it back up.
They laid the twelve, took the twelve, and now we're
back at eleven and a half. So yeah, I mean,
(26:33):
this is definitely as area where the public and the
Joe's the publican Sharps are on the same side.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
All right, we got to go to the Bengals right now?
Who disappointed me?
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Lamar they looked awful last week and have a reputation
for being a high flying offense.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
That's where we thought they were going to be. But
all right today, right, they did get the win.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
During the month of September in the Zach Taylor era
under they have hit a seventy percent clip with that mind,
What kind of action are you seeing on the over
under forty nine on Sunday when the Bengals hosts a jack.
I mean, you know, they're saying, hey, at least we
got the win, but maybe the offense bounce back.
Speaker 4 (27:03):
What do you think?
Speaker 6 (27:05):
Yeah, we're seeing they we had it at forty nine
and a half. They bet that down, So we're seeing
from the sharps. That's what we're seeing from the sharps.
But the Joe's they love this money. They love this
total over money is about ten to one in favors over,
and tickets are about three to one in favors over.
So the sharps are definitely betting this under, but the
(27:27):
Joe's think it's gonna go over.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
All right.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
The Lions, the Tigers, and the Bears, they all look
pretty mediocre.
Speaker 4 (27:33):
All right. Take the Tigers out the.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Bears in the Lions look pretty mediocre week one, but
still looking at the board, I see the line in
this game has moved all the way up to Detroit
minus six. Do the betters think week one was just
an aberration for the Lions?
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Yeah? Absolutely. They don't get Ben Johnson any love going
against his old team because the sharps laid the money
late the five and a half. The ticket counts about
five to one in favor of the Lions and about
seventeen to one money coming in on the lines. They
are not giving the Bears any shot in this game
at all. It's all. It's all lines, money, sharps and
(28:15):
pros or sharps and Joe.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
Don't worry about it. That'll change in our pickskin here
when when Rob picks the Bears.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
I'm picking the Bears plus the sixth and are but
they're gonna win out right anyway.
Speaker 4 (28:25):
We already knew that was going a We get Jodny
on this one. Lamar the spot.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
All the good vibes out in the atl right today
that the Falcons are one in five against the spread
as underdog since last season, so this week they're three
and a half point road dogs. Sunday Night against Minnesota
and the Vikings. Where are the Sharps in this one?
Two young quarterbacks who played the championship game together.
Speaker 6 (28:45):
Yeah, they're all over the Falcons here. I mean they
jumped in that plus four and a half, plus five,
and now we're down a three and a half. The
Sharks are definitely all over the Falcons. We haven't seen
you know, They've been pretty consistent just hammering that number
on the Falcons to where we are now. The Jills
are definitely in the Vikings. They have a short memory
from that Monday night game, but it was a short
(29:06):
week for the Vikings. Falcons got that extra day of
practice or extra day of rest, and the Sharps noticed that.
And that's where the shops are all on the Falcons.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
You know what, The Falcons are one of those teams
that never wins for me, Like I like when I
bet them for whatever, you know, like you always have
that one team And I could never really figure out
the Falcons, Like you look at this game and if
I were to bet on them, they would lose.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
Who was it?
Speaker 3 (29:30):
I feel you had an NBA team that did that
because it depends now on the nets.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
The Pistons, Yes, right, right.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
Every time I picked the pistons, Lamar, they would lose
no matter what the situation, or they would win if
I bet against you.
Speaker 4 (29:42):
Either way, the physics always screw joy.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Appreciate, all right, Lamar, Thank you man, Lamar Mitchell the
best bet MGM, Director of Trading.
Speaker 4 (29:48):
We appreciate.
Speaker 1 (29:49):

doubt you too. All right, we got last call coming

What's up? Ken?
Speaker 10 (32:01):
Hey, Rob, I'm sorry to tell you. Kevin held you
all week with his analysis and his predictions and his
uh his non love affair with her in Judge. All
week He's just fantasized about him, man. And then you
sing the song about some burger King and then you
dog Sean King because he likes shove.
Speaker 6 (32:26):
You like you doug him too? Well?
Speaker 10 (32:29):
Why the dog everybody today?
Speaker 6 (32:31):
All week? I've been listening to you all week, and
you got right.
Speaker 10 (32:35):
The only thing you got right. Yes, the lions are lousy.
The lions are.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
Damn you and you were cooking with fish grease to
that last sentence was that this is for Sean King, okay,
for everyone program. I wrote that, mustn't have been an
(33:03):
angel by my side.
Speaker 4 (33:06):
Jem.
Speaker 11 (33:08):
Wrapping, give me some extra pickles because.
Speaker 4 (33:21):
Jo Burgers King. I don't know how I got in that.
That's when it went too far.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Thanks for bringing that up, Ken, All right, mind me,
how did you convince me to get in that?
Speaker 4 (33:34):
I wrote that? All right, the Sean King? Your analysis
ain't real?
Speaker 1 (33:38):
Yeah, well, then next time play for him. Make sure
the doumb off that day all right, it's signing out
for NFL picks, getting pickoff. You want to retire, He's
let's do it, NFL.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
You ready to retire the odd Couple. It's gonna make
you rich, gambling corruption, their big skin pickoff.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
Alex was so turned off by that song he turned
his headphones off. What Alice? Who was listening? Nobody likes
Nobody likes that sound. That's a great song, Hi, Robie,
you don't have time.
Speaker 5 (34:13):
NFL bigs can pick off Rob and Duffy and games
against the spread. In order to look forward, we gotta
look back. And it was a tough week for the
odd Couple. They focus when faded one and four.
Speaker 4 (34:23):
Each last week. I can't hear you. I got those
I got the games. Pick right, you.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Were one and four?
Speaker 4 (34:31):
Why do you think you can get hing room comps
all the time?
Speaker 2 (34:33):
Rob?
Speaker 5 (34:33):
It's not because you're winning, Louise, all right, it's a
new week though, turning the win column first week? Alright,
let me hear Bears at the Lions, Lions six point
home favorites. It's a mathematical on this point, Rob, will
you picking?
Speaker 3 (34:49):
I'm picking the Lions and Tigers and Bears. Oh my
I'm taking the Bears. I just think that uh, Ben Johnson.
Ben Johnson's gonna get his revenge against Lions. This will
be the Lions season will be over after loss to
the Bears at home.
Speaker 4 (35:05):
The defense is actually gonna play much better.
Speaker 1 (35:07):
I think they get two interceptions because it's the crowd
and uh and just what they bring the chaos to Caleb.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
Lions win and they cover the six they covered. That's
a big number. All right. Here we go.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
Game number two, it went They're calling this the DK
metcalf Bull Seahawks traveling to Pittsburgh. He take on the Steelers.
Steelers three point home favorites. Kelvin give me the Seahawks.
What give me the Seahawks?
Speaker 4 (35:35):
That's another one for me. Aaron rodgers throws four more touchdowns. Wow,
you heard it here? Remember not king? Okay, Aaron rodgers
on paid for fifty touchdowns? All right, that's right? And
an MVP years.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
NFL bigs get big off NFL games against the spread.
Speaker 4 (35:53):
Game number three, This is a tricky one.
Speaker 5 (35:55):
No Brock Purty, no George Kittle even still Niners three
point road favorites in New Orleans taking on the Aints.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
Rob Parker I'm taking the Aints.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
Oh hall, ain't one of us is gonna be looking
good so far. I'm taking Aaron Rodgers had some beautiful balls.
He does he did? Man, that's crazy he did? Or
he does he did in the game, But does he
did anymore?
Speaker 5 (36:22):
I don't have no idea. I'm talking about just quickly.
You got the Saints outrighter, just with them with the points?
Speaker 4 (36:28):
No, I got them outright? Wow. Okay, give me the
er because they ain't the Niner, but they just they
barely make it. Teams will win a game. I'm sorry
Detroit didn't once.
Speaker 5 (36:42):
Game number four shocking, very exciting game. This week, we
expect at least Denver one and a half point road
favorites against Danny Dimes and the high flying Colts offense.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
Dub what do you like? Give me the Colts.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
I'm gonna take Denver and I'm gonna say that Danny Dimes,
that was an aberration.
Speaker 4 (37:04):
He returns to him his normal self, but was an
aberration from both nick They didn't look great. Yeah, but
that'll play better. I think they'll play better, all right.
Speaker 5 (37:12):
All right, last one the biggest game of the weekend,
so much so that Fox is doing a special one
hour additional pregame show, thinking to goes from one hour
to two hours. That's how excited they are about this.
It's just to kill time. I mean, what else could
it do? A two hour pregame show? Come on, it's
a Super Bowl rematch. Who's watching that?
Speaker 4 (37:31):
The Eagles in Arrowhead? Are you watching a two hour
pregame show?
Speaker 5 (37:35):
Take it on the Chiefs? The Eagles closing right now.
According to this one one point road favorites in Kansas City,
Rob Parker.
Speaker 3 (37:42):
I'm taking the Egles the Eagles to beat the Chiefs again.
Speaker 4 (37:47):
Chiefs start owing two to their seasons all did we
not agree on a single one?
Speaker 1 (37:52):
Give me the Chiefs because Patrick Mahomes has never lost
three in a row. And I'm gonna ride that one
out and then guess what if he loses, I'm gonna
say he didn't count because the Super Bowl was last season.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
I like that. Of course you would give me the cheek.
We got some serious moving here.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Yeah, this is this could be bad. Or I'll just
go up three to two and only be up one.
That's what I think.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon is coming up next.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
I never miss your radio show.
Speaker 4 (38:18):
I never hear it, so I never miss it. Did
you hear that
