Speaker 4 (00:36):
How many years you play in the NFL? Nine? Nine
to be fully invested? What is it? Five years? How
many years to be more? Four years? That's it? That's it?
In Major League Baseball, it's ten, is it really? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
You'll play ten years to be fully Yeah? Yeah yeah
but four years? No, you did more than nine years.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
I knocked that out. Yeah yeah, that got pretty good,
no doubt.
Speaker 3 (00:58):

(02:11):
a lot of things to chime in, But first we're
gonna go kick it around the NFL with one of
my favorite people, Tyler Dragon Is Welcome to the ad
Cuple of course USA today national NFL reporter joining us
here on a trash talking Tuesday. Tyler, say hello to
Carrie Rhodes.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
How are you, Carrie?
Speaker 5 (02:30):
Rob?
Speaker 6 (02:31):
How y'all doing tonight?
Speaker 4 (02:32):
Good? Tyler, how are you? How are you?
Speaker 6 (02:35):
I'm doing good. It's been a busy trade NFL, but
things have died down, which I'm thankful for.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
No surprise is about the Jets trying to do whatever
that this season's over, you know, so, uh, they're just
trying to stockpile and maybe they can find a quarterback
at some point or in the draft. What your thoughts
on what the Jets did, because I thought that they
fleeced the Colts.
Speaker 6 (03:00):
Well, I was surprised. I mean, they gave up their
two cornerstone pieces on defense and you know, Corny on
Mitchell and Saltz Gardner. So for them to trade them
and get three first round picks, I do agree with
you Nicoles giving up two first round picks to the
Jets if that's advantage Jets, and then for them to
(03:23):
get a first round pick from the Dallas Cowboys too.
So the Jets are clearly in rebuild mode and have
their eyes towards the twenty twenty six NFL Draft and
the twenty twenty seven NFL Draft with multiple first round
picks and both of them, so they better find a
franchise quarterback in the next two drafts. Preferably for Jets
(03:44):
fans the next draft, and.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Can you find you have you finally given up on
Justin Fields? Are you done with that or not?
Speaker 6 (03:52):
They gave up on Justin Fields pretty much called them on.
I mean, but.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
I'm thinking, if I remember and you could stop me,
I think you thought he was going to do something
you know I do, And maybe I'm wrong, but I
think a lot of people did.
Speaker 6 (04:09):
I say he was going to be a serviceable quarterback
in New York as long as he plays within the
right system. I'll admit I was wrong. I feel like
he's regressed from his time in Pittsburgh the short sample size.
I just feel he's not seen the field well and
he holds onto the ball too long and he's afraid
(04:31):
to let it loose as a quarterback, and you can't
have that. So, yes, I'm out on Justin Fields, and
the just are surely out if you've just paid attention
to what he Johnson's words and all the first round
picks that they accumulated they had to trade that line.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
Yeah, Tyler, I was actually with you on Justin Field.
I thought he'd be okay, But also that situation he's
in right now. They have no weapons. So I mean
to actually say he's not a serviceable quarterback would probably
be him and Justine.
Speaker 3 (05:00):
But do you think somebody he's going to get a
four shot to be a starting quarterback? That's what I'm no,
there's no way, no coach, no, it's no what general
manager's gonna hook his wagon?
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Ad just no, no, no.
Speaker 7 (05:12):
But let's twitch, Let's get away from the Jets. Let's
go to the team that you know they they did
a deal with with the Colts. I'll say, relax. So
this is what I they're obviously going in on this
year in the AFC being wide open, they're putting all
the chips in this basket and trying to win this year.
What do you think the Coats go from here? Do
you think they're they may go again? Can they be
(05:33):
the number one team in the a f C and
get home field advantage?
Speaker 6 (05:37):
So I've covered two Coats games and they surprised me
in both and and right now I feel like Jonathan
Taylor is the MVP.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
Of the good, good Lawn.
Speaker 6 (05:47):
They had to trust Daniel Jones, thank you. Even though
we're entering week ten, Daniel Jones regrets a little bit
last week against the Steelers and playoff time in a
hostile environment, when pressure is on you and you're going
up against teams like maybe the Kansasity Chiefs or the
Baltimore Ravens or Buffalo Bills. I'm not going to put
(06:12):
my money on Daniel Jones in Indianapolis Colts and less.
Jonathan Taylor runs for one hundred and fifty to two
hundred yards and as just the best player in the field.
So I do like the move with salt Gardner. I
think lou Anna Rumel their defensive coordinators. I've done a
marvelous job in Indianapolis. The Bengals should never fired him,
(06:32):
But it's hard for me to trust a journeyman quarterback
and Daniel Jones.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Spot on, Tom Wonder, you are the USA today and
you're a national NFL reporter because you're so smart.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
You just sided with rom.
Speaker 7 (06:47):
He's not giving you that many problems. There you go,
He's taking care of himself.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
All right.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Let's talk about the Bengals and their terrible defense. My god,
I mean, you know, and the players you don't very
often hear that where you know, they'll kind of dance
around it or say, you know, oh yeah, it's unfortunately,
you know, we gave the league.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Whatever they're life. Can they get a stop?
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Like?
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Can they get like they can't get a stop?
Speaker 6 (07:11):
Like?
Speaker 3 (07:11):
That's a great win for the Bears. Kidding, it's a
huge win. But the Bengals defense and last year even
was bad. Because last year they lost two games to
the Ravens and Joe Burrow had nine touchdowns in those
two games and lost both of those games. How bad
is this defense?
Speaker 6 (07:31):
Yeah, it's the worst in the NFL. And then they
traded one of their defenders that was the last few years,
one of their best players. I know Logan Wilson was
benched in recent weeks, but to trade some of your
talent on defense, I feel like the Bengals are just
million in. Their season was pretty much over when Joe
(07:52):
Burrow got hurt. I know they were holding out hope
that Burrow is going to come back in mid to
late December. But when you defense is playing this bad,
you give up thirty nine points to the New York
Jets and then you turn around and give up forty
points to the Chicago Bears. I mean, defense is the
worst in the NFL, and it's not going to get
(08:13):
any easier because they have the Steelers after their bye,
then they have the New England Patriots, then the Ravens,
and then the Bills. So I can see their defense
giving up thirty forty points the next four or five games,
unfortunately for the Bengals, and I really do think they
made a mistake and I said it before by firing
(08:34):
lou Anarumo. I feel like he's one of the best
defensive coordinators in all the football and he was a
scapegoat last year in Cincinnati, and so now the Bengals
just have to live with the consequences. They don't have
Joe Burrow, which was pretty much disastrous, and now their
defense really can't stop a nosebleed. And then's showing.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Our guest is Tyler Dragon from USA today. He's a
national NFL reporter, right, Tyler.
Speaker 7 (08:59):
So, I think this has been a league of I
think mediocre play. In my opinion, I don't think there's
a team that stands out or I'm calling a favorite
right now. If you had to pick a Super Bowl
right now, NFC representative an AFC representative, which route would
you go right now at this moment in the.
Speaker 6 (09:19):
Season, I'm going to say the Eagles are the clear
favorite in the NFC. I like what they did at
the trade deadline. I think JayR. Alexander is gonna perform
well in Philadelphia. The AFC is wide open.
Speaker 4 (09:34):
Yep.
Speaker 6 (09:35):
However, it would not surprise me when it's all said
and done at the Kansasy Chiefs, it would not stop.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
No, I don't want you. There's no such thing. I
want you to make a pick. Don't say because when
you say, Tyler, I wouldn't be surprised if you're not
saying anything. So if they make it, you could come
back and go, oh, I told you the Chiefs, and
if they didn't, you could say, well, I didn't really
say that the Chiefs were going to make it. We
want you to make a definitive pick because this ain't
(10:04):
gonna fly on the odd Come t.
Speaker 4 (10:07):
He switched on your tyler.
Speaker 6 (10:08):
I know he switched on me real quick. Switched up
was real quick, less than five minutes. I will say this.
My preseason pick was the Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens,
so I'll stick with that. I do think the Ravens
turn it around like.
Speaker 7 (10:26):
Mad.
Speaker 6 (10:26):
So yes, I got the Ravens and Eagles.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
All right. I like that a lot better.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Don't be surprised because the Chiefs have lost four games already,
and you gotta admit, like everybody's older offense or whatever
is all ready to go and they're back to No.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
Did you watch last week they weren't back to anything.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
Well, that was against one of the best teams in AFC.
Speaker 4 (10:52):
Stand out.
Speaker 6 (10:53):
They were without their standout left tackle and Josh Shannon's
he's coming back. Three of their four loss is are
without where she rice.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
So but here's the difference, though, Tyler, I'm going to okay, here,
here's the difference. Last year they were eleven and no
in one score games. This year they're owing for and
one score game. It ain't the same. They were very
lucky a year ago. Almost everything went their way. Would
you agree with that?
Speaker 6 (11:19):
I do agree with that. Like every single year the
Chiefs are in it in the Super Bowl almost or
at least an AFC championship game.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Not this year, not this year they are.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
You can't kill me otherwise, I'm telling.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
You right now, no way, no wow.
Speaker 3 (11:37):
Just like I was telling everybody about the Dodgers not
winning the World Series, you were and what happened. But
the Bluejays choke though. No, no, you didn't win. Relax, No,
you were.
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Right for you to admit that sho is the death
baseball stop it.
Speaker 3 (11:53):
No, not that all right, all right, hey, Tyler, We
appreciate you, my man.
Speaker 4 (11:58):
Thank you so, Tyler, have a good one.
Speaker 6 (12:01):

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Rob g.
Speaker 3 (14:10):
Jah Moran like where his career he was supposed to?
Let's be honest, like they was talking about face of
the League. Am I right like he was of that ilk.
Oh my god, look at this guy. How good he is?
All the gun stuff and all this and now here
he is twenty six years old, rob g and he
(14:30):
delivered to me a bomb show.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (14:33):
So he was just gotten suspended by the team for
one game for contract detrimental And if you'll recall, they
were up by like fifteen points at half against the Lakers.
Something happened during halftime because he came out of the
second half standing around, moping around, and no one just
in playing at all. The Lakers ended up coming back
and winning that game. After the game, reporters asked like, hey,
(14:54):
what happened there the second half? Is?
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Is?
Speaker 9 (14:56):
Go?
Speaker 4 (14:56):
Ask the coaching staff.
Speaker 9 (14:57):
And then at one point he they was asked what
could the team have done differently in the second have
to prevent blowing that lead? He says, according to them,
probably don't play me. Honestly, that's basically the message was afterwards,
that's cool, So they suspend him. He comes back last night,
has eighteen to ten and a loss to Detroit. After
the game, the reporter's asking more questions, being very short,
not really answering anything. At one point, a reporter asks them. Hey, John,
(15:20):
do you feel like you still have your usual joy for.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
The game of basketball? No period, Carrie?
Speaker 3 (15:29):
You know, yeah, if I'm ownership GM, I gotta make
a trade, even if I have to take pennies on
the dollar. I can't a twenty six year old Rob
g how much does he make? Forty million?
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Huh? Right? Roughly can you find out?
Speaker 3 (15:44):
But a twenty six year old in Memphis, Tennessee making
that kind of loop playing basketball? Who and he's really
good at it? Yes, thirty nine point four, I'm real close.
Thirty nine point four. H And he looks you dead
in the face and say that he doesn't have joy
(16:05):
in playing basketball, he can't be on my team.
Speaker 4 (16:08):
Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't think I'm being harsh.
Speaker 3 (16:11):
You could be upset whatever to say that you don't
have joy to play basketball for a living and wear
an NBA uniform and all that. I think you're I
just think it's time to make a move. Yeah, the
joy part is squarely placed on him. He was having joy,
he was playing well, he was a high flyer, his
team was in the playoffs. He was making comments a
(16:34):
couple of years ago, we're good in the West, like
we saw that joy and it was infectious, like we
all wanted him to do well. Yes, but the joy
losing the joy part of it is self inflicted.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
The team didn't do anything to him.
Speaker 7 (16:48):
Put himself in this situation with the stuff off off
the court, and now he's on the court even when
he's playing. He can't stay healthy at this point, and
so there are reasons for him saying that. But as
the leader of the team of a franchise, you cannot
make those comments and expect everything to be okay.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
I just don't know how I'm serious.
Speaker 3 (17:06):
Like, if I'm on the team and this dude is
saying he don't have any joy playing, I'm following him.
Speaker 4 (17:11):
No, that's the point, Like he's the leader. You can't.
Speaker 7 (17:14):
You cannot say that, and you cannot be on the
court doing what he did against the Lakers.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
That's powdering your nine year old. That's a kid moving
for him. You're a professional basketball player. Yeah, I agree
with you on now.
Speaker 7 (17:28):
I would trade him as well, But again, I don't
even think the trade market is hot right now for
John Moran. I think a lot of people are catching
up to what we're what we're talking about right now,
But there's somebody.
Speaker 3 (17:39):
There's always somebody, like people I've heard forever. Oh, you
can't trade James Harden's contract. Oh, yes you can. You
can't trade this guy. You can't. Who's the guy I'm
thinking about? Bradley Beal and Washington? Oh, nobody will touch that.
The Phoenix Suns touched it, right, And now where is he?
They traded him again? The clip, So the idea that
(18:02):
you can't move people or whatever. And with Joah at
least you know he's talented. Now you're a GM or team,
you're taking a big shot, a big chance.
Speaker 4 (18:11):
Rob.
Speaker 7 (18:11):
I don't even it's crazy to say, but right now
he's twenty six and he's been injured so much. I
don't even know if he still has the same athletic
ability right now. And so for the decline to be
that way for John Moran and not be as explosive
at the moment. He can't shoot, He's not a consistent
shooter yet. So like, as a team that want the
trade for him, what I mean, what are you trading
(18:32):
for him for?
Speaker 3 (18:33):
You're trading that he's just very unhappy and not playing
up to the best of his ability. And you can
get it out of him, and we'll get it out
of him because he'll be happy to leave that place
that he feels like everybody's against him.
Speaker 7 (18:48):
Now he's going to be at that place and it's
going to be something that goes and he's not going.
Speaker 4 (18:53):
To be happy again.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
I'm with you, and that's the chance you take if
you're a down trodden or organization and got really nothing
else cooking. Do you know what I mean? Like if
you're I don't know. I don't want to just be
throwing off teams. But there's some teams. I'm just the Wizards.
The Wizards. How about Brooklyn? Now with they don't have
(19:15):
they have like a lot of these young player, they
don't have anybody like Seriously, they haven't even won a
game yet, right, rob G.
Speaker 4 (19:21):
I didn't want a game, haven't No? Yeah, So what
you ut?
Speaker 9 (19:24):
Just question for you because you say you want to
trade Jamra and I get it right because he's been
suspended now a couple of times.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
Just a quick backstory if you don't.
Speaker 9 (19:31):
Remember, first suspended in March twenty twenty three for eight
games for going on Instagram live flashing the gun and
then he did it again and that's what he got
smit it for twenty five games, so he didn't really
learn his lesson at that point. And if you recall,
while he was suspended, he had free twelve all over
his social media like, hey, I'm the victim.
Speaker 4 (19:46):
Heirs all right, Right, that's one issue.
Speaker 9 (19:48):
The other issue something that Carrys talked about, which is
on the basketball court. When he first exploded on the
scene twenty twenty, he was at rim frequency because he's
at the rim, high flying, at dunking than everybody was
forty nine percent. This season, John Moran at rim frequency
twenty eight percent. So he does not attack the rim
(20:09):
like he used to do.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
Right, And I'm not I'm not disputing that you're right
on the numbers. Well here's the here's the other problem,
but I'm not.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
I'm not convinced that he's doing it because he can't
do it and he doesn't want to.
Speaker 9 (20:20):
Do Okay, So if that's true, that's fine. Okay, here's
the other thing he can't do. If he's not gonna
attack the rim, then you better be able to shoot.
I can't shoot shoot fourteen percent from three rib What's
so Westbrook's like, damn, that dude sucks. I'm with you,
Ronny James is shooting better than fourteen percent from three.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Rib I'm not I'm not disputing it, but you get
my point.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
If you want, if I.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
If you want to get butts in the seats, right,
but I and I'm saying, yeah, and if you don't
want to do what you do best, right, so you
kind of shy away from that to kind of have
a downtrodden kind of game to punish the franchise. We're
not winning him. Okay, Well, I'm doing what I gotta do.
I'm just saying. And you remember the famous Kobe shooting
(21:04):
too much.
Speaker 4 (21:05):
Against the songs? You know that? And what did he
do in that game? So late Greade he played hot potato, right.
Speaker 3 (21:11):
He basically was like, Okay, you complaining about me shooting, Okay,
here you go, s much Parker, you shoot or well
whoever it was right and it didn't. That didn't turn
out well. So I'm just saying, I'm not convinced that
he can't play.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (21:28):
Is it a risk? It's a huge risk for any
GM or any team or whatever. So I get it.
It's It's not that easy, all right.
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Should the Grizzlies
trade look to trade John Moran. We'll continue that conversation
next with you. It is the odd Couple, but first
let's get you caught up with mister Steve the saga.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Al Right eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox jamarant
what would you do if your degriz Would you move on,
make a trade?
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Would you try to work it out? You know how
talented this guy was.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
I know he's not hasn't played as well, but he
says he didn't have any more joy in playing basketball.
That's that's hard to hear from a twenty six year
old Harold in Chicago. You're on the couple of Fox
Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (22:35):
What's up? Harold?
Speaker 5 (22:36):
What's up?
Speaker 10 (22:37):
Guys? A longtime listener? Now six times there you go, Harold.
Speaker 3 (22:41):
We appreciate that you're not the Harold in Chicago that
makes the fried chicken?
Speaker 4 (22:46):
Are you?
Speaker 10 (22:47):
How did you get it away? I'm letting the secret
out every time.
Speaker 4 (22:54):
I call that's right. What's up, buddy, Jamran, What are
you doing?
Speaker 10 (22:58):
You know what? I actually know old Robert Parrat personally,
so I don't know if this is inside info, but
he hasn't been happy since the old coach got fired abruptly.
He just doesn't want to be there. Issues with the staff,
not just the coaching staff, the front office. They have
to trade off. They probably don't want to because they've
invested so much, but.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Right, and they're not gonna get a full value, you
know that, because that's the bad part.
Speaker 10 (23:24):
Yeah, you don't get full value in the NBA. You
lose trading your star. You always lose the trade. But
he kind of have to and it sucks. Usually they're
a small market. They try to keep with whatever they
can grow from the draft. But if he doesn't want
to be there, go ahead and trade them, preferably Chicago.
They're probably gonna be Milwaukee, but yeah, trade them away.
Let him be happy somewhere else, because he's just gonna
(23:44):
keep causing you headaches, no doubt, and lower his value.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Yep, Peral, thanks for the call, my man. Appreciate the support.
Harry in Rochester, New York. You're on the couple of
Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
What's up, Harry, Hey, guys enjoying in the show.
Speaker 6 (24:00):
First time caller.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Well, we appreciate that. Thank you, Harry. My man, how
long you've been listening to the eyd couple.
Speaker 6 (24:08):
I'm all for a long time.
Speaker 3 (24:11):
I can't quantify, but okay, awesome, awesome, appreciate the support.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
Yeah, you you mentioned where where could you train him
to and you mentioned it down trodden team. How much
are you really going to get from them? If it
works out for the down trodden team and they get
better by the time they're okay, we're going to add
some more guys and really build on this, and then
(24:35):
he has a problem again. So I don't see him
going there. But maybe a team that's had the fringe
of the race that for a short for the short stretch,
he might be useful there, could boost them into uh
some postings and success.
Speaker 3 (24:53):
Okay, Yeah, I understand what you're saying. By the time
that they get good. Thanks for the call, Harry, appreciate it.
You know, like by the time they give up and
then have to try to get back. Yeah, he probably
won't be what he is or value. I mean, it's
it's a tough call.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
It really is.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
How about Rockefella in Louisiana. Rockefeller, you're in the couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, my man?
Speaker 11 (25:19):
What's happening, Ron, what's happening? You know me, I'm just
enjoying the show everything like I used to do. Like
I see it's all in my second time call him.
But you know, I'm a big fan of yours and
the show Man and everything, so I want to let
you do things for the air time that you get
was because, like I told you before, ready to see
in here. So I'm thankful for a show like jewels.
Speaker 6 (25:38):
Man about my job.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
I appreciate that, Rockefeller, and we appreciate you and the support.
Speaker 11 (25:45):
I want to say about Jaba rent Man, I mean,
once the players start talking like that, he's kind of
got one swelling the door and one foot out the door,
as in him loving the game and on the beat
in the NBA and stuff. So I think the Grizzar
is already trying to get what they can from and
move on. But like I said, once he starts talking
like that, I mean, you got trouble.
Speaker 4 (26:04):
On your hands, you know, no no doubt.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
It's like it's like and Kerry could speak to this too, Rockefeller.
When a guy starts talking about retirement, you know what
I mean, Like, as a player, you don't want to
hear that, like, oh, he's checking out, he don't want.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
To be do this.
Speaker 7 (26:18):
Yeah, yeah, you want to rite. You don't want to
ride with that guy. You know he's out, Yeah for sure.
Speaker 3 (26:22):
No doubt eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. You
still got a chance to jump in with us on
this Jama rant where you.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
What would you do?
Speaker 7 (26:31):
Man?
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Rockefeller had that that straight and no that no accent.
Speaker 3 (26:34):
Oh yeah, you know what you know, but he got
he got that. He got that uh great voice too,
got a radio voice.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Yeah, it's unfortunate. Like you gotta be careful. You can't
let somebody take your joy. You agree with that, you know,
like like it should be self like you gotta be
self motivated. You gotta be self driven anyway, right, So
like when when the tough times come, because they're gonna come,
they're gonna come, doesn't matter who you are to get Yeah,
(27:05):
if you listen to people's life story, Yeah, you look
at somebody, oh man, they got it all hell dude, and.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
You hear their real story, the real story, the real story.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
It's hard, man, and there's those peaks and valleys and
good days and bad days.
Speaker 4 (27:19):
It's just not that.
Speaker 7 (27:20):
You're twenty six years old and make a lot of
money the star of an NBA team, like my joy
cannot be taken.
Speaker 3 (27:26):
No, you can't take my joy. I don't care how
bad things are right now. Jackie in Oregon, you're on
the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 4 (27:34):
What's up, Jackie?
Speaker 12 (27:36):
Hey guys, first time car.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
Hey Jackie, A long time. Oh Jackie, thank you. That
means a lot for the odd couple. We appreciate you.
Speaker 9 (27:45):
Thank you.
Speaker 12 (27:46):
I just what about the father as a role model
or lack thereof Boddy step In. I mean, the dead
is just as bad as the sun.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
I don't know, no, no, no, that was a wanted
the issue, Jackie. If you remember Dad was with the
entourage and hanging out and on the court and all
like like, no, let his son. That's you know, that's right,
we almost forget.
Speaker 12 (28:18):
Yes, yeah, come on, yeah, that was bad.
Speaker 4 (28:22):
That's a great point. Yeah, Like that's that's who he's.
That's what he's looking than you.
Speaker 3 (28:28):
Yes, continue listening and thanks for the success, Thanks for
the support.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
I should say all right, man. That's a good point.
It really is all right.
Speaker 3 (28:42):
Coming up next, Rob g are we uh?
Speaker 4 (28:45):
We had last call already.
Speaker 3 (28:48):
It kind of threw me here because of the way
we because of the way we changed it with Tyler
at the top of it. I think he mis remembers
miss remember all right?
Speaker 4 (28:59):
Come up? I do? I mean we were.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
We're want to talk about Tom Brady and then my
change for the holidays.
Speaker 4 (29:06):

Speaker 3 (29:07):

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Brian?
Speaker 6 (31:02):
Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 12 (31:03):
Rob?
Speaker 13 (31:03):
What's going on?
Speaker 10 (31:04):
Carry?
Speaker 13 (31:06):
I gotta say, fellas, I had a bit of a
healthcare This is my first night back in three and
a half months.
Speaker 3 (31:11):
Man, Man, Man, loving love, loving prayers, loving, sending someone's love.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
Man.
Speaker 13 (31:17):
Yep, So I got two points to make. Number one.
Let's trade Moran to Detroit the Pistons. He'll take anybody up.
Number two if I'm the Lakers, Let's trade lebron Man
because when he comes back, he's gonna mess everything up,
don't you agree?
Speaker 3 (31:32):
You already know it ain't gonna be going the way
it's going because they no way he's going. He's not
gonna be a bigger part of what's going on. So
all the people are doing their stuff now will push back,
and even Luca won't be getting forty.
Speaker 4 (31:45):
Five a night, you know what I mean. It's gonna change, change,
It will change, all right, real quick.
Speaker 3 (31:49):
Thanks Brian Man. We appreciate it. We're pressed against time.
Thank you, Rob g. So what is Tom Brady doing now?
I know he's got thirty seven and a half million
dollars a year to do football games.
Speaker 9 (32:01):
If you thought Rob Parker was rich, then you haven't
met Tom. Tom, I'm not rich. Tom Brady let the
cat out of the bag. In this case, it was
a dog. I don't have you heard about this man.
Tom Brady revealed today, for whatever reason, that he once
had a dog that he really loved named Lua. Died
in twenty twenty three. Terrible story. Everyone loses a pet,
(32:22):
you know, it sucks. So Tom's like, we ain't having that.
I don't know a way to fix this. And I
got money. He invested it into some I don't know
if they're if they're regulated in any kind of way.
I've never heard of this kind of thing ever being
done at this level. Invested in a company that helped
him clone his previous dog using that dog. He has
(32:43):
a new dog named Juny. I thought he was a
clone of the dog that died two years ago.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
He should have named it Koujoe. Have I saving guy
saying pet cemetery. Yes, Yes, that's what's going to happen. Yeah,
I'm sorry. He sounds creepy. It's creepy.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
It lost a dog.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
I understand it more than the dog, more in the memories,
that personality of the dog.
Speaker 4 (33:04):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (33:04):
But if you're gonna clone them, why don't you name
them the same name as the other one.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
Why is it a different name? Yeah, I don't get it.
It's just weird. It's weird. I don't understand. Yeah, And
why is he talking about it?
Speaker 6 (33:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (33:16):
I wouldn't. I wouldn't let anybody know. I wouldn't let it.
Speaker 3 (33:20):
I wouldn't let anybody anybody know about that. All right,
I do want to talk about this, all right?
Speaker 4 (33:25):
What you got? You said you have something for the holidays.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
So yeah, I'm changing my and I want you guys
to jump into all right, Rob g Alex Carrie. Just
so this I'm convinced is the last year I'm giving
out physical Christmas gifts. Like I've come to the end
of physical Christmas gifts.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
You're waving the white flag. Yeah, I've done it.
Speaker 3 (33:54):
I've always tried to do something special, try to find
nice gifts. Yeah, you know, going to seventy five percent
off rack and a really nice gift for people.
Speaker 4 (34:02):
They don't have to know I paid seventy five Well.
Speaker 3 (34:05):
They know now, well, I mean, but it's still a
nice gift whether you know or not. Like if I
go and I'm in Florida and they have like a
great sweater Ralph Laurene. But it's Florida for sure, and
it's seventy five percent off. You don't care when you
get it, of course, it's just like, Wow, this is
Ralph Laurent.
Speaker 4 (34:22):
This is a beautiful sweater. I'm happy to have it. Yeah, Okay, I'm.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
Just tired of the buying of the gifts, and you
know me, I'm storing stuff all year and all that stuff.
So I'm family friends, I'm gonna go gift.
Speaker 4 (34:39):
Cards and just here go out to a restaurant on
me go do that?
Speaker 3 (34:43):
Do you I think I've matured to that point where
I'm done, Alex, what do you think?
Speaker 4 (34:49):
Does that make sense?
Speaker 8 (34:50):
It makes sense, But I'm a little heart broke. When
Rob Kringle comes around.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
You already know you always get Hey. I want you
to know that the odd couple crew is good, at
least for the next couple of years. There it is, guy.
You guys are good.
Speaker 9 (35:07):
You got so much swag that I already made. We're
gonna have to get rid of it somehow. Robert only
got two words for you with the store. What stop it?
Don't try to act like you had this epiphany. You
know what The real answer is, Carol, put back the
curtain on the radio. Rob just moved apartments.
Speaker 4 (35:27):
You don't have the space anymore to store. I know that.
I don't know, you know what.
Speaker 9 (35:31):
I just I just want to get people gift cards,
getting gift on Rob love Merry Christmas.
Speaker 4 (35:36):
No, the problem is that extra room. Man, you got
no room. You got room no more.
Speaker 9 (35:40):
So He's like, you know what, this will take up
a lot less basically fit it all in the drawer instead.
Speaker 8 (35:44):
It's true that the outsizes mattress.
Speaker 9 (35:46):
I know fridge mattress because I got one.
Speaker 7 (35:50):
I saw this, he said, the new one. The buckle
was this big. So I don't know what we're doing TV.
Speaker 4 (35:55):
I can't believe.
Speaker 3 (35:56):
I cannot believe, like a queen size mattress came in
a box that I don't even think it's twelve inches.
Speaker 4 (36:03):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 8 (36:06):
You should see the box.
Speaker 4 (36:07):
You know what twelve inches looks like.
Speaker 8 (36:12):
God, you should see the box of Tom Brady's clone
don came in.
Speaker 4 (36:17):
I'll leave out it.
Speaker 8 (36:21):
Oh, it's gonna be an end of an era though.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
No, I'm ready to stop with the gifts, and I
still want to get some nice I'd rather even my
best friend Fred, him and his wife. I'd rather send
him a nice gift card, go to a nice steakhouse
and have a nice meal on me.
Speaker 8 (36:35):
You know what you get joined Christmas set mixtapes?
Speaker 4 (36:38):
No, I would never do that.
Speaker 7 (36:40):
Never let that doss.
Speaker 8 (36:46):
A mixtape?
Speaker 4 (36:47):
What did he didn't even make?
Speaker 8 (36:48):
He just sent me a playlist?
Speaker 4 (36:49):
No he didn't.
Speaker 3 (36:50):
Yeah, but he was mad at me because I ordered
two meals at the Christmas dinner cheap.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
He was mad because I ordered two meals and took
what he was mad Man. That's that's ridiculous. Hey, I
can't thank you, my man. Man.
Speaker 7 (37:04):
You know it's always always a good time. We appreciate you.
Hey Man, keep them gifts.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon is coming up next.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
I never miss your radio show.
Speaker 4 (37:13):
I never hear it, so I never miss it. Did
you hear that
