all time starting five.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Now, did you have you seen this?
Speaker 5 (01:59):
Rob?
Speaker 4 (01:59):
Do you know what it is? What is all time
starting five?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
I saw it?
Speaker 6 (02:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:03):
Okay, uh well one, Uh let's let the listen just
hear it.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
We'll let the do we have sound of stuff?
Speaker 6 (02:14):
No?
Speaker 4 (02:14):
Sound? Okay? So Rob, give us give us well, you need.
Speaker 7 (02:18):
The context first, guys. So he's doing this promotional tour
for his documentary Where Rob. You know, he mainly says
it's not an underdog story, the whole document.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Exactly.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
So in any event he.
Speaker 7 (02:31):
Did this, he was asked a similar question seven months ago.
I don't know what it was for, but they said, hey,
who's your all time starting five? You had to pick
a team, and in December his five were Shack Magic, Jordan,
Dirk Novitsky and himself. I don't recall if there was
(02:52):
any pushback at that time, maybe in the middle of
the and we just missed it completely.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
Well.
Speaker 7 (02:57):
During the promo tour for his documentary, was asked the
question again, and you would think he's a flip flow.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
He must have wised up.
Speaker 7 (03:03):
He's like, I'm not going to put myself in there
because that just looks bad, right, looks terrible.
Speaker 5 (03:07):
Right, So it was his first one was Steph Jordan,
Vir Bird.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
And Shaq.
Speaker 7 (03:16):
Yes, it was correct. So he was asked again and
this time he took himself off. So he kept the
original three. Shack, Jordan, and Magic were still there. He
replaced Dirk Novitzky with Tim Duncan, and then he's listening
a small forward and he says, I'll go with Larry Bird.
Actually you know what, Scratch that. So you think, oh,
it's gonna be Lebron James right right. No, I'm gonna
(03:37):
put Kobe Bryant at small forward wow, and take Lebron
leave him completely off the list.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
It's really interesting, Rob because he left Lebron off twice.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
But but Chris, this, this is this is what's so surprising,
and it's not just I gotta say this and you
I think you'll agree. I get let Lebron is a
contemporary of his. I get that, I do. I understand that.
But he's the all time leading scorer in the NBA.
(04:12):
Like you don't respect that at all, Like Chris, you don't.
You don't respect that at all and all of the stuff.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
You know.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
I'm not the biggest Lebron guy for you know, other reasons.
But I but I respect his numbers, Chris. That's why
he's second on my list. Everybody's always shocked when I
say he said, I respect that he's played, he's put
up the numbers. What what what part I ripped it?
I ripped the other players when they didn't vote for
him for the All Star Game, Chris, the one hundred
(04:42):
and thirty players that left him off.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
That's jealousy.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
Seriously, Steph doesn't respect what he's put together. Dirk Navinski
on his first FS Lebron no business on that list.
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Shame on that.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I mean with Larry Bird, My god, Chris, where's Larry Bird?
Speaker 5 (05:05):
If you go if you're not going with Lebron, right,
you can go with Bird and then doctor j.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
There's a lot before Dirk.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
And then to leave him off again, and put Kobe, Well.
Speaker 4 (05:18):
Kobe's not even the three. I get it, he can
play it right, but you.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (05:22):
But I just think it's it's disrespectful. I'm just gonna
say it. And they keep disrespecting Lebron. And this is
where his complex comes in, that even guys who have
competed against him don't respect him for whatever reason.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
I don't get that. I don't.
Speaker 5 (05:39):
I don't think it's a lack of respect from Steph.
I think it's this Rob and you kind of touched
on it as you began speaking. If you notice both
of those lists, whichever one you want to go with,
none of them are Steph's contemporaries. He is not competing
(06:01):
against any of them.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
And I think that he is saying, look, I'm still.
Speaker 5 (06:06):
Competing against Lebron or whoever you want to throw Yannis
or jokicch or whoever.
Speaker 4 (06:12):
And I'm not gonna give them. I'm not gonna put
them on.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
A pedestal while I'm going against them. I don't want
Lebron James have any little inkling. Obviously they know how
great each other are, but I don't want him to
have any inkling of I think he's this or that,
and I and I actually want to get in his
head a little bit because he's what I want him
(06:35):
to question, Wow, does Steph.
Speaker 4 (06:37):
Really think I can you know, I'm.
Speaker 5 (06:39):
All that, I'm that guy. And that's what I think
this is, right, don't. I don't think it's like a
lack of respect for Lebron. Although look, they've had a
his They've had a strange relationship early on. Remember Lebron
went to Davidson to watch stuff play and they hung
out a little when Steph was a younger.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Player at lebron house.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
And then when they began competing against each other, you know,
they had some run ins during the finals. And remember
the Halloween party Lebron had where you know, Stephan Clay.
It was like Steph and Clay cookies or something like
tombstones or something like that.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
And then of course lately.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Lebron's been very complimentary of Stephan and all that. So
they kind of had an up and down relationship.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
But I think they're cool. But I think that's what
this is.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Roight.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
See, this is why I'm a pushback and say I disagree.
Ray Allen came out with his list he played with
Lebron and won a championship. Lebron wasn't on in his
top five Ray Allen, Like, seriously, Chris.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Okay, but you're not. That's not pushing back on my steps. No,
you're just saying I'm just saying, like disrespect.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Okay, all right, Charles Barkley and those guys who didn't
play not a contemporary of theirs, They don't have them
in their top ten.
Speaker 3 (07:56):
Kenny Smith in.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
A Kenny's Now, I think top five.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
No, what I'm saying at the time, now, was he
not in the top ten? Come on, he's are NBA
guys who know the game, Chris, He's one of the
all time greats. And you just go this player after
player who will go out of their way not to
not to put them in the top five or top ten.
Is mind boggling to me. And I think that's where
(08:21):
the respect lack of respect. So that's why I look
at it as more than just stuff being being a contemporary.
I get the contemporary part, but this keeps happening. Aren't
you shocked that Ray Allen, who won a championship with Lebron,
doesn't have enough He's in the same locker when we
play with the guy competing with the guy. He doesn't
think he's a top in his top five, our all
(08:43):
time leave he's scoring the NBA.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
Well, I don't think it looked.
Speaker 5 (08:47):
I respect Lebron's breaking that record and that's great, but
you know, we don't.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
I mean, we're not just saying, oh, just because he's
all time.
Speaker 3 (08:55):
Now, No, I'm not saying just that. But obviously, look.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
You and I both have him second only to Michael Jordan.
He is the second greatest player ever in my book
and in your book.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
So I'm with you there.
Speaker 5 (09:12):
I think Rob the disrespect if we want to call
it that.
Speaker 4 (09:17):
And you can, because as you said, a lot of guys.
Speaker 5 (09:21):
Don't have him in their top five, top three, whatever
it might be, a lot of we've talked about it before.
How a lot of players that face both of them
put Kobe ahead of them, right, I think Rob, And again,
clearly we don't agree with this just because of where
we have Lebron rank. But honestly, Rob, I think this
(09:41):
is what it boils down to, because most of those
guys are from an earlier era.
Speaker 4 (09:48):
Obviously steps not, but.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
I think Rob what it comes down to, and it's
just my opinion.
Speaker 4 (09:53):
No player has told me this. I think.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
It is the fact that Lebron.
Speaker 5 (10:02):
Joined like kind of created his own super team and
then continue to do that and even this to this,
up to this past summer, was you know, vocally recruiting Kyrie.
I think players look at that and say, I just
(10:23):
think that that And again, this is just my guess.
I think that is where it stems from. I don't
know where else he could come from. You can't his game.
I get it, Okay, he's not, you know, as smooth
as Mike or Kobe. He's not an awesome shooter a
great shooter, but he can score with the best of him.
(10:45):
He was a great defender in his prime. He's a
great rebounder for his position. He's obviously a tremendous passer.
Like what is not to like about his game? And
that's I think it boils down to that rob like
guys are like he was stacking the deck and look
(11:09):
at Kobe.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Kobe never did that.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
Kobe pushed shack out.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
In fact, now, Kobe, did you know, talk about going
to the Clippers.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Or the Bulls? Did right?
Speaker 4 (11:22):
He did one.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Shot?
Speaker 5 (11:25):
You know, God, it's just unique that Lebron did that.
Durant did that obviously, Steph. You know they recruited Durant,
but it was his team, Like Wade doesn't get that
pushback because it was his team. So I don't know, Rober,
That's all I can fathom that it might be.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Do you agree with that?
Speaker 1 (11:49):
It might have a little to do with that, but
it just it's mind boggling, like.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
What else could it be? Jealousy? What else it has
to be? What else could it be? Chris?
Speaker 1 (12:03):
It doesn't make sense, like either you respect the league
that he's in and what he's been able to accomplish.
You might not like the way what he did his business,
but he did play hard and he did you know,
when fantastic. That's what I'm saying, Like there's a degree
of that that's weird to me, That's all I'm saying.
And I think that them doing that and discounting him,
(12:29):
and that's why he's always asking for his respect, Like
that's remember that after they won the in the bubble.
Now what I want now, y'all want y'all to give
me my damn respect.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
That's what he said.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Who says that unless you really feel like people don't
respect you.
Speaker 4 (12:43):
I took that I might be wrong.
Speaker 5 (12:45):
I took that as him thinking he's the goat, which
obviously said before.
Speaker 4 (12:51):
And that now you might be right.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
Maybe he was looking at it deeper, like, dudes don't
respect me. I'm not seeing my name on these lists,
like right, I was looking at it as just.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Strictly versus Jordan.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
But you see what I'm saying, You might be right.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Yeah, I mean he's feeling like really like, like even
even if you might say, even if Steph I could
respect this, Chris, I'm gonna leave Lebron and myself off
the list because we're still playing, Okay, right, he could
he have said that.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
I Yeah, that's different. You know.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
I'm just like, I do believe my about Steph in particular,
I do believe he just like, look, I'm competing against.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
This dude, and it might maybe it has.
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Something to do with some of the disrespect, you know,
in the middle of their careers when they were facing
each other.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
In the finals.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
But I'm talking more in terms of a lot of
these players, as you said, to have left him off list,
that's all I can fathom. But let's see what the
callers think. Rob eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox
eight seven, seven nine nine, six sixty three sixty nine.
Speaker 4 (14:00):
Steph didn't have Lebron on.
Speaker 5 (14:01):
His top five list. What are your thoughts? Why do
you think that is? And even more so, why do
you think Lebron seems to get left off a lot
of these lists as the gold or even on a
team A guy starting five from some of the.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Old heads that played a little bit shock game, right,
he's not contemporaries.
Speaker 5 (14:26):
Of their Your thoughts eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.

off the top? They're all time starting five? Or rank
him lower than we think he should be ranked.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Let's check it out with Jackson Case you're on the
couple of Fox sportraited.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
What up Jacks?
Speaker 6 (15:59):
My guys? Good brothers? Hey was man?
Speaker 1 (16:03):
Rob?
Speaker 6 (16:04):
Thanks for taking my cars?
Speaker 8 (16:05):
Sir?
Speaker 6 (16:05):
My brother Chris? We sorry? What's up? Luve?
Speaker 3 (16:07):
What up?
Speaker 6 (16:08):
No?
Speaker 4 (16:08):
How you feel?
Speaker 6 (16:09):
I'm good? Did you make it the conclave last week?
Speaker 9 (16:12):
Nah? Nah?
Speaker 5 (16:13):
I was on vacation out of the country for a
little while, so I didn't get ur you.
Speaker 9 (16:19):
Nah.
Speaker 6 (16:19):
I didn't get a chance to get down there, and
work had me tied up so I couldn't get there.
But it's all good. Well, I tell you what man
as far as I'm concerned Lebron James. I mean, I
have a twenty four year old son, a good a
good nupie brother as well, and we argue on a
consistent basis because he really truly believes that Lebron is
Doug Goat. Like he'll tell me that Michael Jordan was
(16:41):
playing against bums and so, no.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Way, he's just repeating your narrative, that's all. He's a
good go ahead.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
Yeah, he hasn't. Why I told, you haven't seen enough
games to even be able to assess that. You don't
know enough about the other players that were in the
league at the time. So but but, like I said,
there's no way that he will ever be the goat,
that's out of the question. But there's no way that
he's not in the top five. Like, that's just.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
That that's that's disrespectful, don't you think, Jacks?
Speaker 6 (17:09):
I mean absolutely, I mean, that's just I don't I
don't understand it. I mean, as much as I will
argue against him being the goat right court, I will
argue all days that he's still one of my favorite
players because of everything else that he does, do. And
so anybody who can watch what he does on the
court and consider what he does away from the court
(17:30):
as far as being representative for the NBA for basketball
in general, and can still disrespect him enough to put
him outside of the top five and outside of the
top ten, you shouldn't even be able to You shouldn't
even be able to express that opinion. That's so, that's
so ridiculous that it's just crazy to me. So, you know,
I don't know what it is about him that doesn't
(17:51):
get that respect. He seems to be a pretty let's.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
Talk about it.
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Chris talked about a little bit, the stacking, the dag lot.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
Of I don't understand what else it could be.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
Yeah, but they're offended by that, Chris. I don't think
that you're missing anything. Mark in Sacramento, you're in the
couple of Fox Sports.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
Ready, what up? Mark?
Speaker 6 (18:13):
What's going on?
Speaker 4 (18:15):
What's up?
Speaker 7 (18:16):
Man?
Speaker 6 (18:17):
Welcome back?
Speaker 9 (18:18):
Chris?
Speaker 6 (18:18):
I was your trip, man? Good? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Man?
Speaker 4 (18:21):
It was good, very good trip.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
And Mark, can you tell him that I didn't have
cupcakes while he was going that I potato?
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Far from it.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
I heard they were taking rods of the woodship, right, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:39):
Rob Duckton dodged them pretty good. I gave him fro
that's what he does.
Speaker 9 (18:47):
I think there's two things. Number One, the guys who
he's playing with right now against I think it's hard
for him to put him in a class of all
time while they're still playing him, right. I think I
think that's part of it. I do think that there
is some social media created jealousy because it just seems
to be these guys just like they there's jealousy out there,
(19:10):
these young.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Kids, even even a Ray Allen no mark.
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Explain what I say, who won a championship? When will
play with Lebron? Lebron's not even in his top five?
Speaker 3 (19:22):
What does that say? Doesn't I say something to you?
Speaker 9 (19:25):
They have Either there's something personal or there's some jealousy
there because I just say he's not.
Speaker 6 (19:31):
Okay, I see a lot of basketball he is. That's yeah.
So to say that there has to be other alterior
motives and reasons if you ask me, because to say
he's not, I just I've seen this game for a
long time. I'm sorry, Ray, You're wrong. I mean he is.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
And this is guys who don't play at that level,
who know who know what? It takes to play in
that league, you know, Chris and Mark like, that's the
shocking thing. Forget about being some sports writer, but these
are guys who are out there. They know how hard
it is to make baskets and the play at play
in that league.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
You know, I find it's shocking.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
All right, we got Sean King, rod friend of the show,

Speaker 3 (21:07):
We're gonna see you in Vegas. Were coming Friday.
Speaker 6 (21:11):
Absolutely, I'll be at the press conference and the fight.
I'm working it for DraftKings. We work in a fight. Yeah,
super excited.
Speaker 3 (21:19):
Yeah, so we got to hook up out there in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah, we'll be there Friday. Inside, We're there for the
fight and everything. So I just want you to know, Sean,
so we see each other. Well, let's let's start there.
Who you got in the fight, Seuan, I'm.
Speaker 6 (21:30):
Going Crawford by stoppage really late. Uh, I'm not smart
enough to put a round on it, but uh, he
stopped everyone. He's foight at one. I think after this
fight people will put him in another light as far
as where they rank him on the all time great list. No,
(21:50):
not gonna Spence or think Spence is a tremendous fighter.
But I'm going craw for by stoppage.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
Yeah, I got Crawford. Hey, I wouldn't could go decision.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
I think either a decision or a late knockout or
stoppage TK.
Speaker 6 (22:07):
I hate going to the judges cards because they never
seen to be watching the same fight everybody else is watching,
so I'm gonna go and stop that we don't have happened.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
I will know that boxing that ain't got right.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
Let's get to the NFL and the running backs had
their Zoom meeting to talk about you know, they feel
like they're being undervalued. Do you think that the running
backs today are being undervalued or has the game the
way it's changed.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
Just put them in a tough situation.
Speaker 6 (22:43):
Oh, here's what's interesting, and it's surprising because there's so
many smart people in the NFL that it's gotten to
this point. They've gotten so comfortable playing the position instead
of paying the player that they overpaid for other positions
and then underpaid for one. Like just because the quarterback
contract is up, that doesn't mean that Derek Carr and
(23:06):
Kirk Cousins to see at the same pay point as
Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Or Daniel Jones.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Daniel Jones got forty six million dollars or Daniel Jones.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
That's what good point like paying my position?
Speaker 3 (23:20):
I agree that right?
Speaker 6 (23:23):
And he told fifteen touchdown passes last year, Ray hundred
plus million, and then you tell saw he's not worth
fourteen to fifteen a year. I wouldn't show up to
work either.
Speaker 3 (23:35):
Man, I'm with you dude this week.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
I don't know how it's gonna help it.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
It's ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
It's lakes an injury.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
And I'm gonna say this too, Sean, the CBA, I
mean you were in that league. My god, the owners
have owned the NFL Players Association. Somebody must have a
Swiss Bank account because because that franchise tag thing is
the worst things It's the worst thing ever seen.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
How is that? How was that negotiated?
Speaker 6 (24:03):
So here's what's interesting. It's it's common knowledge that the
historically the weakest players union and professional sports in this
country has been the NFL. One. We are the one
group that has not been capable of going going to
work strike. Everybody tried to do it. It's been replacement players.
They found ways to still have a product. Since twenty thirteen,
(24:28):
the only franchise tag that has not increased, it's actually decreased,
is the running back.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
One is decreases twenty thirteen.
Speaker 3 (24:38):
That tells you all.
Speaker 6 (24:39):
Three though I think it was like tier ten point eight,
ten point nine million in twenty thirteen. Now I think
it's sits at ten point three or four. Wow. Play
that is incredible, right, And the only leverage that guys
like say Kuan and Josh have is Okay, if you
don't play dirty, then we're gonna play dirt dirty. There's
(25:01):
a loophole in the franchise tag situation. They can sit
out the first ten weeks of the year, report the
Monday after week ten, and then still make about a
little over four million dollars in pro rated money. So
at least they didn't waste a whole year financially.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Right, But they can hurt the team by not being
there for ten weeks.
Speaker 6 (25:23):
Right, and then I'm still gonna make some money and
says you didn't feel like I was that valuable. When
I get back, I'm gonna tell you I need a
week and a half to get in shape, and then
I'm gonna tell you that my hamstrings a little sore.
I don't think I can perform, and you gotta play
dirty because they playing dirty. That's the only leverage those
guys have.
Speaker 5 (25:42):
But they also looking at it like I think with
the running back by committee, all of that stuff has
devalued the position as well.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
Well.
Speaker 6 (25:55):
I think what's happening is it's a combination of the
owners and able to control the franchise tag by basically saying,
if we don't sign any running back, big deal, we
suppressed that market. Secondly, it's the players union agreeing to
suppress the draft market. Remember these numbers used to be
(26:16):
sky high because there was always an acceleration in a
money from year to year in the draft A stat Yeah,
that counted towards the franchise tag. So when you add
in the fact that the rookies are on very team
friendly deals the first four five years, that's how we've
(26:36):
gotten to the point we're at now. And it's unfortunate.
And I don't think that every running back should be paid,
just like I don't think every quarterback should be paid.
So I think the NFL has a smart enough and
start paying the player way more than just paying the position.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
Barkley and what he means to the Giants, right, Sean,
I mean.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Because because listen to this, right, why would anybody, why
would any player want to be like Quona. Quan has
done everything else to be the best representative of the
Giants brand possible on and off the field. Even when
he was injured, he still was the support system. He's
never gotten in any trouble he's been outstanding at what
he's asked to do on the field, and when it's
(27:19):
trying to reward him for all of his loyalty, due
diligence and excellence, you balk. Yeah, as you mentioned, you
reward Daniel not a not on Daniel Jones. No, it's
not reward You reward Daniel Jones off of a fifteen
touchdown year with one hundred plus million guaranteed dollars. Like,
I feel bad for say.
Speaker 1 (27:39):
Quon and and you know what, Daniel Jones had two
games Sean Whad threw over three hundred yards, both against
the Minnesota Vikings, terrible defense. That's the only teams that
he threw over to you, I mean to reward him
and leave Daniel and leave sa Quon in the call.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
I think it's bad. It's and you're right.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
If you're a teammate and you look at how they
treated this guy, how could you feel good about it?
Speaker 6 (28:03):
Right?
Speaker 9 (28:03):
Like?
Speaker 6 (28:04):
One incentive? Do I have to play while I'm injured?
What incentive do I have to restructure my contract so
that we can sign you know some more? Hell, it's
a bad situation. I really feel bad for guys like
Austin Eckler is in the same boat. Like I really
feel bad for those guys. Tony Pollard gotta be nervous.
(28:25):
You know, they didn't want to give him an extension.
Yet he's gonna get a lot more carries, which means
a lot more wear and tear without Ezekiel Elliott being there.
So if he gets injured again, then guess what's gonna
happen at the end of the year. Well, we can't
pay you now because you've been hurt in back to
back years.
Speaker 5 (28:41):
Why do you let's move on to the Browns. Deshaun Watson.
Do you think we're gonna see a bounce back year
from him? Or is he never gonna be what he
was in Houston again?
Speaker 6 (28:52):
Well, I mean you gotta be optimistic. I mean, Deshawn's
a unique situation. I don't even consider last year of
failure because if he hadn't played in two and a
half years. So they're not many people you can just
pull out of that profession, you know, especially for professional sports,
and then they come right by. I mean, Jordan's a
rare bird, you know, go away play baseball or whatever
that was about, and come back and not miss a beat.
(29:14):
So he's now allowed to be in the building the
entire offseason, be in the building, training camp, participating in everything.
He got some rust off, I would fully anticipate even
if he's not prime to Shaun Watson, he's still a
top half of the league quarterback.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
That's gonna be interesting.
Speaker 1 (29:33):
Not all eyes on that, because we did see the
rust over the last couple of years and him not
playing and him changing. How about I'm down on Buffalo.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
I don't know. I just have a different feel about
them after last year.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Really disappointed in that team and how it ended, and
then you know they seem like they got some locker
room stuff as well.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Where are you on Buffalo? Are they the favorites to
come out of the AFC?
Speaker 1 (29:59):
Like like some people thought, I think, Chris, did you
like them last year?
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Or no, who did you pick? I like Buffalo?
Speaker 4 (30:05):
I take them to win the AFC last year.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
I am too. Where are you on Buffalo?
Speaker 6 (30:13):
So listen, I was raised if you have faith the
size of a mustard seed, you can move Mountlin. So
he going, Hey, I'm going back.
Speaker 4 (30:21):
I was in Jesus, though not in Josh Allen.
Speaker 6 (30:25):
Well, yeah, this is not a pro Buffalo opinion. I'm
going out on a limb and I'm calling two of
being healthy all seventeen games. I'm picking the Miami Dolphins
to win the AFC East. Added Jalen Ramsey in the offseason.
Bradley Chubb, who they acquired midseason, now get some full
(30:46):
offseason to learn that defense, to really ingratiate himself and
make a bigger impact. I love the rookie running back
Devin a Chain from Texas A and M. He may
be faster than to rekill guys. Keep him on your radar.
Jaylen Waddell, I'm I'm saying to it go stay healthy.
I like Miami to win that division. Speaking directly to Buffalo,
(31:07):
they lost all their leadership when Brian Daboon went to
the Giants. I mean, you remember Ken Dorsey having an
aneurysm in the press box, and now all of a sudden,
Stefan Diggs is upset with everybody. And you know, Josh
Talent is a super talent, but he's not doesn't seem
to be a super like leadership, vocal kind of guy.
So I think there's a void there in Buffalo. We'll
(31:29):
see does it manifest itself at the end of the day.
I think Buffalo's Buffalo's results when he's off around the
health of von Miller. When von Miller's healthy, that defense
is completely different than when he isn't available.
Speaker 5 (31:43):
Yeah, I feel you. I'm leaning Miami in that Division two.
I haven't made my pick yet, but I like that.
Speaker 4 (31:52):
I think if.
Speaker 6 (31:54):
I can I answer you guys a question, what happened
with what happened with Aaron Rodgers last year? It was
I can't believe we didn't sign Devanta Adams. I don't
want to participate with all these young players. I'm sick
and tired and won a championship now and now it's man,
these guys are so refreshing. It's such a youthful vibe.
(32:16):
What happened from the playing ride from Green Bay to
the Jets Hard Knocks is gonna be fascinating. It's gonna
be musty television.
Speaker 5 (32:23):
Well, I look, I'm starting to like the Jets. Where
are you at on them?
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Quickly? We got thirty?
Speaker 6 (32:28):
I don't I don't like them at all. This year,
Breis Hall out standing running back. Most backs don't have
the same year first year off of Acla others do.
I don't think he's available yet. I do think the
Jets have some talent. I don't like the offensive line.
We gonna see if the defense as good as we think.
But I'm going Jets to miss the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (32:48):
So you got Buffalo in Miami making.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
It yes, okay, all, all right, we'll.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
See you in Vegas.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
It ain't happening. I'm just unbelievable. You knew I wouldn't
stand for that mess.
Speaker 6 (34:16):
All right?
Speaker 4 (34:17):
Anyway?
Speaker 1 (34:18):
And I had a football player who said, I made
total sense and logic in my take.
Speaker 5 (34:23):
Because the population, please, they come to America and guess
what start like in American sports?
Speaker 8 (34:29):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (34:29):
Is that what it is?
Speaker 8 (34:30):
Ball?
Speaker 4 (34:30):
In basketball?
Speaker 5 (34:31):
Rob gesus Hispanic Rob G? You like you don't even
watch baseball, Rob G? Because Rob said, just because it's
gonna be more Hispanics, Rob gall is gonna be the
most populoust Rob.
Speaker 1 (34:47):
G made my case on what's happened and what's happened
in this country and the population and who your audience
will be.
Speaker 3 (34:56):
You mark my words, what.
Speaker 5 (34:59):
The average peature of the baseball fan. It's in the fifties.
Speaker 1 (35:03):
No, I said, soccer and baseball, and I gave both
of Mike you didn't hear to.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
Take, Chris, so I would rather hear that little clip.
Speaker 1 (35:10):
You didn't hear the clip, and I what Rob is
here to take?
Speaker 3 (35:14):
I heard it. I heard the little clip.
Speaker 7 (35:16):
He heard the because it's Spanish, read the headline and
the lodge.
Speaker 5 (35:21):
If his fanics don't like basketball and football either, please
they're gonna start playing that all right?
Speaker 4 (35:28):
Anyway, Rob g bring us up to speed, Lebron.
Speaker 5 (35:31):
We started to show talking about, you know, with NBA
players go over and take that Saudi money. Well, Lebron,
Rob has answered in the affirmative.
Speaker 7 (35:41):
He's weighed in on Twitter guys at King games. Well,
now it's not Twitter, it's called X. But he weighed
in saying, quote, this is me as a gift of
Forrest Gump running out of his driveway saying, this is
me headed to Saudi when they call Rich Paul and
Mav Carter for that one year deal piece.
Speaker 4 (36:00):
And you said Draymond responded to it as well.
Speaker 7 (36:02):
Draymond did respond. Draymond was much more upfront about it.
You know, Lebron had a gift. They're trying to be funny.
Draymond says, straight up, they got basketball leagues too, right,
I'm out. I don't think they got my contract has
dried up yet.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
Oh man, they're not wrong.
Speaker 3 (36:20):
I think those guys are spott on. Are you kidding? Like,
like the money that you're.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
Talking about, you're not talking about ten dollars more, talking
about a significant amount of money more than they're making. Sure,
I'll do the same job for four times as much.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
Sure I will.
Speaker 5 (36:37):
Well, And like I said with Lebrown, he's accomplished. Look,
he can stay and try to win another title, there's
no doubt about that.
Speaker 4 (36:44):
But there's gonna come a point real soon. Well he
not gonna be.
Speaker 5 (36:48):
He ain't gonna win no more titles. I don't know
that he'll win any more titles going now. So you
know I would if I were him, I'd played through
this contract and then obviously wants to play with his
son Brianie and then after that, don't.
Speaker 4 (37:03):
Get you a billion A billy over in Saudi Arabia.
Speaker 1 (37:07):
And we could probably have a guarantee you get a
team in their new league, more so than the NBA
could even do. They can't guarantee he's getting a team, guys.
Speaker 7 (37:16):
The only question is when they launched the Saudi Sports
Radio Network and they offer you five times your current salary.
Is the odd couple moving to host middays.
Speaker 4 (37:25):
Five times are current?
Speaker 3 (37:27):
I'm leaving.
Speaker 1 (37:28):
Chris is staying behind because because Chris wants to compete
with the best radio people in the country, so they
speak well over there.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
Okay, stay here and do it. Shoot, yeah, I got
the question is are you leaving? I'm gone to media.
I'm leaving before you will believe. Are you going?
Speaker 4 (37:50):
What else?
Speaker 6 (37:50):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (37:51):
Dude, without saying let's go what I'll say, Let's go.
Speaker 7 (37:53):
Be the Skot Shapiro of the Saudi sports.
Speaker 1 (37:55):
Now there you go, and you know, and our money
would be tax free. That's the other party.
Speaker 3 (38:01):
I mean tax free, tax free money.
Speaker 4 (38:03):
Chris over there.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
Yeah, like that's what they do with the basketball players
who play in those uh you know, for moving over
their money.
Speaker 3 (38:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
I'll go over there during the you know, and then
I'll have an I S d N to come home
on the weekends.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
How's that.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
I'll do it from here, all right, I'll do the
spirit fly to Saudi ramon Ron.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
I don't know, I'll get some baby if I get
Do they have a ross over there?
Speaker 3 (38:29):
Do they have one ross ross over there?
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (38:33):
What do you think we'll tell you guys to borrow
we out
