Speaker 1 (00:01):
From the Burkeshars to the sound from wherever you live
in MLB America. This is inside the Parker. You give
us twenty two minutes and we'll give you the scoop
on Major League Baseball. Now here's Baseball Hall of Fame
voter number fifty seven, Rob Parker.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Come on, I've been covering Major League Baseball for almost
forty years now, in New York, in Cincinnati, in Detroit,
in LA.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
I love this game. Let's go. Welcome into the podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
I'm your host, Rob Parker, and what a show we
have for you today. Coming up, right hander Max Schurzer
from the Toronto Blue Jays.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
He drops by.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Also, we'll check in with the Phillies with mlbbro dot
com Chris Wilder.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
He's an editor and a reporter there. Let's go beat
up to lead off. It's getting rocked to keep them mind.
Rob's hot take on.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
The three biggest stories in Major League Baseball. Number one, you.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Smell that it's the New York Metropolitans. Indeed, wow, the
idea of how bad this team is.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
We saw it on Wednesday night.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
They were up six to nothing and they give up
a nine piece that included two chicken breasts an all
white meat I mean to the Atlanta Braids and they
lose a disgustingly bad game on Wednesday night. The Mets
have now lost twelve of their last fourteen coming into Thursday,

(01:47):
the series finale against the Braids at City Field to
close out the three game series, the METSI.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Find themselves five games behind the.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Philadelphia Phillies in the NL East and they are going
the wrong way.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
It is really bad, struggles all over the place.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
This is a team that got off to a great start,
even though Juan Soto didn't so people thought that this
team would be off and running and have a chance
right in the NL least.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
They almost had a chance to get to the World
Series a year ago. That didn't happen. All they did
was add.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Juan Soda, one of the most sought after free agents ever,
and instead they're in a run. It's pretty bad in
Queens and they need to make the playoffs and get
this righted in the final two months.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Number two, if you're a Cincinnati Reds fan, you have
to be dancing in the street in the Natty.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
I mean, Hunter Green, your ace returned on Wednesday after
nearly two months out from injury and against a great
team in the Phillies and shut them down six shutout innings,
only three.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
It's no walks.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
I mean, how do you not feel good about where
the Reds are and can be now having Hunter Green
back in the fold.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
The Reds are winning there on a streak.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Now and now they continue to get better with their
ace back.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
In the fold.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
So this is good news for Cincinnati, good news for
Hunter Green.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
We know how good he is.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
The only thing that has stopped him hasn't been opponent's bats.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
It's been injuries.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
So Hunter Green back in action for the Reds and
that's good for baseball and good for Reds fans.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Number Three, I cry foul, double foul.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Why have the Seattle Mariners had to retire number.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Fifty one twice?

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Once for Randy Johnson the big unit, and then for
each year. All we get it, both Baseball Hall of famers,
But there's no reason these two should have been wearing
the same number.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
And you know what, I get it each your roll,
asked Randy Johnson.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Randy, of course said, of course, if you want to
wear it, go ahead, But somebody in the front office,
somebody in the uniform team. You know, the equipment manager
should have said, now, you know what, Randy's really good.
He's got a chance to be at the Hall of Fame.
You don't want to do that each year role. You

(04:25):
want your own number so that you don't have to
retire the same number twice. It's great, and I know
it's happened in other teams and it's not unique, but
in this case, when Randy Johnson put on that uniform
in Seattle, you knew he was something special.

Speaker 3 (04:41):
And the same thing with each your row.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
It was Rookie of the Year and MVP in the
same season. So I just think that was a mistake.
It would have been great if they had their own numbers.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Here comes the big interview.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Listen and learn.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
It's so good.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Well, le's welcome into the podcast.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Right handed pitcher Max Scherzer from the Toronto Blue Jays
join us.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Max, how are you rottenw's going getting everybody on?

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Always good to have you and Max, let's just talk
about you your season, how you're feeling and you're back
out there getting people out.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Yeah, I'm finally getting healthy, finally getting my hand and
thumb underneath me and getting a mid.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Season form So this is fun. We've had a great team,
great season so far. But this is when the real
fun starts, you know, when the fan chase starts in
the postseason. So hopefully I'm pitching my best here at
the end and I can help the Bliez win.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
And let's talk about the blue Jays really turn the
season around, and you guys have a real shot not
only to win a division, to make a run in
the postseason.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
How good is this Blue Jays team? We're good.

Speaker 6 (05:46):
I mean, this is a really good team of all
the teams I've been on, and they show a lot
of the you know, seeing traits, how the clubhouses really together.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
And how everybody understands their roles.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
Everybody knows what wait to be in u and everybody
picks up, you know, picks up your chairs backs. I mean,
we're just playing really well connected as a team, and
so we've getting contributions from all across the roster, you know,
our starting rotation, their offense or defense, and their bullpen
kind of all phases of the game.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
Uh, you know, we can do something, we.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
Do things well at and so but we gotta keep going,
you know, we gotta keep playing that type of doll
and you know that's the reason why we got so
hot is because we played such a good, fun around
ball and we.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Had to get to that all the way through.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Maks, Let's talk about you, forty one years old, still
pitching and you've had a tremendous career.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
I know it's not the end, but I do want
to talk about just your career.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Eight time All Stars, three time Side Young Ward winner,
two no hitters, twenty strikeouts in the game.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
As you get okay, you give my.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Point, and I'm saying to you, just you still enjoy
and you're still being out there.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
The competitive juice is still flowing. Oh yeah, I love.
I've ever been out of it.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
You know.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
I try to say every moment of it, you never know,
and you know it's gonna be your last.

Speaker 6 (07:01):
I mean, I've had a couple of injuries where you know,
could have been the career.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Unfortunately it hasn't been.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
So I'm very appreciative being going out there and so
competing when I'm out there, I mean it's I had
the same fire thing driving as I've ever had.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
It hasn't waivered whatsoever.

Speaker 6 (07:15):
And so you know, for me putting in the work
and doing everything it takes to be out there on
the field. It's all worth it and so much fun
because when you can beat and win, there's nothing like it.

Speaker 3 (07:25):
I just gave you all these actual lanes.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
Tell me, and I know it would be hard, but
your favorite moment so far your career? And obviously when
you pitch two note haters show the first one to
suite to be able to do it again. But is
there some moment and you've won two World Series? What's
your if you had to win, you're.

Speaker 6 (07:43):
Going off there at guys like with it my favorite moment? Hey,
I win the World Series. I mean, that's what we
played a game for, is a wins. They have two rings. Man,
that is special, special stuff. So you know that's the
first thing your mind goes to. I mean, that's why
you play the game. You play the game to win it,
win the whole thing. You know, That's why we do
everything we do.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Put on an individual like one moment I'll deal with
you know what I mean when you look back and
think about wow, I mean, twenty strike out in the
game is incredible, but.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
No hitting people.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
So obviously the signons are really special because you know, man,
just it's recognition that you're the best.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
And but if you're looking for a.

Speaker 6 (08:19):
Single game, you know, that's kind of a question you
ask would you rather throw no hitteror strike out twenty?

Speaker 3 (08:23):
And my answer if you I'd rather stuck out twenty.
That was that was that was so much fun. That's wow.

Speaker 6 (08:29):
You know that short list and the guys you're on
the list with, Yeah, that's that.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
That to me is better than another.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
How about when I think about your career one stop
in Detroit, you guys had a lot of success but didn't.

Speaker 3 (08:43):
Win with and I can't remember that year. I don't
know what year was, but you lose to Baltimore in
the playoffs. And if I remember the.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Three games, three and you Goland and I think Price
started those three games, and y'all want a three wigning
Shay Young Award winners, and that one team would make
you have.

Speaker 6 (09:00):
Something on it taking It's always difficult to say you
left something on the table meets because you didn't reduce anything.
And I don't think we were gonna look our health
in the winner, and that I wish we whether to
start we've done something.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
Different, Yeah, I do. We wish you would have fight better.

Speaker 6 (09:12):
Yeah, we wish we were have won, course, but you
can't have regret, and I don't have regret how I
prepared for those starts. You know, you talk about fourteen
Arty was a great team. Third team was a great team.
Twelve was a great probably actually made it the World Series.
So you know, kind of all three of those teams, man,
we all kind of kick ourselves, you know, looking back,

(09:33):
and we run into each other like those are some
of the best teams that we've ever been on. It
just shows you how hard it is to win in
the major leagues. You get to be on are you
way the best team and not win? It shows you
just the difficulty it is to navigate an NLB season postseason,
stay healthy and have everything.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
Break rank and anything can break wrong.

Speaker 7 (09:52):
So but you know, I I.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
Hold those teams, those de trade teams, that's what they're
going he jeerlie my heart. All the guys I played
with their uh and you love competing with all those
guys and uh, you know, those are definitely some of
my special moments.

Speaker 8 (10:10):

If I'm writing, I'm ripping, Let's bring in a writer
or broadcaster, old or new.

Speaker 3 (12:18):
Now let's welcome to the podcast. Chris Wilder.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
He is an editor assistant managing editor at mlbbro dot
com based in Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (12:29):
You got it, Chris, There you go. Welcome to the podcast.
How are you.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
I'm good, Rob, Rob? Oh, good to go? And what's up? Man?

Speaker 3 (12:38):
All good man? I want to talk about the Philadelphia Phillies.
You see them up close. You're there in Philadelphia coming
into Thursday.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
They got a five game lead over the New York
Mets in the NL East. How good is this Phillies team?

Speaker 3 (12:54):
They're pretty good. You know.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
They really rely on the starting pitch and that's what
it's been all year.

Speaker 7 (13:01):
And the problem is their bets.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
They don't perform and they're supposed to. They only scored
one run the last last two games. They they don't
hit when they're supposed to. The top of the lineup hits,
the bottom of the lineup doesn't. Right now, the bottom
of the lineup is hitting and the top is not.
That's been going on all year. You know, how good

(13:25):
are they? They're pretty good. They're pretty good. I can
tell you all the faults, yet they're still winning. You know,
big party have a bad Yes, it's.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
Kyle Schwarber and what he's done this year.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
I mean, I know everybody wants to hand the National
League MVP to show hal Tani already, but he's been
pretty done good for the Phillies over forty home runs.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Again, you know, uh yeah, he's doing beyond.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
He's he's the most consistent player. He hits no matter what.
You know, they always count on him. The problem is,
do you Rob Thompson, the manager, has been deciding whether
he needs to protect Bryce Harper or protect Schwarber.

Speaker 7 (14:14):
In the lineup.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
You know, Uh, there wasn't anybody to really protect either
one of them for a long time this year.

Speaker 7 (14:22):
But you know, late they went on this. They went
on a.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Hot offensive streak until the last two games, the last
I guess three games. Really they before the Reds, they
played the longest interleague stretch in history. They're twenty one
games against American League teams, you know, and they basically
did just above five hundred. But but they're hitting now.

(14:48):
I mean, you know, when the postseason comes around, I
like them because they're peaking now. They were playing five
hundred ball all year and the last few weeks they basically.

Speaker 8 (14:59):
Just just right.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
The week before the All Star Game is when they
started getting it together.

Speaker 7 (15:04):
The last couple of years they started off great.

Speaker 4 (15:07):
And then they you know, they played five hundred ball
towards the end.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Well, let's ask me, all right, I want to ask
you about Bryce Harper, who was hurt and has come back.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
Where is he?

Speaker 2 (15:18):
And uh, you know, I mean, I'm a Bryce Harper guy.
I think he's a tremendous player. He said, a lot
of big home runs and hits and big spots. You know,
a couple of years ago, looks like they were gonna
get to the World Series, and you know, and and
and uh.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
And Bryce Harper's clutch clutch, he's clutched. He when you
need to hit and he's up, you're gonna get it.

Speaker 7 (15:41):
Yeah, he had. He Also he gets injured every year.

Speaker 4 (15:43):
And he comes back slowly every time, you know, and
and and that's.

Speaker 7 (15:48):
Going on now.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
But what I like, if you're if you're a Phillies fan,
I'll go back to that five hundred ball at the
beginning of the season thing because as they're peaking now,
he's coming out of the he's recovering from his injury,
and you know, it seems like it's all coming together,
you know it. Obviously he's still a team leader even
when he's injured and he's he's a you know, a

(16:13):
fourth of the team can't be taken away. And this
injury he's about to when he's fully healthy, I think
he's gonna be back to how he was when they
were going to the World Here, he's like you're talking about.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Our guest is Chris Wilder.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
He's assistant managing editor mlbbro dot Com. He's based in Philadelphia,
last thing I want to ask you about the NL.
The Brewers are having an unbelievable season. Unbelievable when I
look at the other teams in the NL that would
be in the way for the Phillies, Brewers, Dodgers, Padres.

(16:49):
Which team do you think gives the Phillies, uh, the
tougher road to have to pass that team?

Speaker 7 (16:56):
The Mets. The Phillies beat the Dodgers every time. The
Brewers e you know, the Brewers.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
They don't really The Phillies don't have a problem with them.

Speaker 7 (17:07):
They five hundred them. I say, the Mets.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
That's what the problem is, because you know, maybe the
Mets getting their heads.

Speaker 7 (17:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
Obviously, before you know, we went full Inner League. We
were playing them nineteen times a year, so you kind
of knew what you're getting. Now they play with fourteen,
I think, and while it doesn't seem like there's much difference,
there clearly is because the two teams, their whole persona
changes when they face each other. You know, suddenly the

(17:36):
Phillies suddenly the Phillies, you know, go cold.

Speaker 7 (17:40):
They were red hot. They get to the Mets the cold.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
It just happens. The Dodgers are. I don't see them
as a problem. The Phillies that beat the Dodgers the
last six series in a row, so that I don't
think should be an issue.

Speaker 7 (17:52):
Maybe the Brewers are wild card.

Speaker 4 (17:54):
They're led by Rhys Hoskins, former Philly you know, so
he plays extra when he plays agains the Phillies.

Speaker 7 (18:01):
That could be to their advantage or not.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
I'm more worried about the Mets than any of those
three teams you mentioned metal struggling.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Now Phillies are in first place coming into Thursday, five
game league.

Speaker 3 (18:11):
We'll see how this all plays out.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
And thanks so much, Chris Wilder in Philadelphia from mlbbro
dot com.

Speaker 3 (18:18):
Thank you, buddy, appreciate you, Thank you.

Speaker 4 (18:20):
Rob Man, You're still the man. You're still the manon.

Speaker 1 (18:24):
In case you missed Rob Parker on the MLB networks,
here's his latest appearance on mL Dina.

Speaker 9 (18:33):
All Right, showdown, Tom, our good friend Rob Parker is
joining us. Now. Rob, let me start with this. This
is a great honor. You're alma mater, Southern Connecticut State
University has a Rob Parker press box about and you
look at this and you're still alive. Rob.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
Congratulations, Thank you, Yes, it's going to be dedicated on
October fourth at homecoming.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
And what an honor. BK.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
It's I'm humble by it all.

Speaker 9 (19:00):
So you have a mural at your high school in Queens,
your respont' you're a living legend. You're a legend roaming
the earth among us right now. Congratulations, Rob, That's fantastic, now.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
Thank you. It means a lot.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
I still remember today my mom and I took the
Greyhound Bust from New York up to New Haven, Connecticut. Yeah,
for journalism orientation, with the idea.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Of me being a sports writer. Forty years later my
name will be up there forever.

Speaker 9 (19:28):
That's kind of that's tremendous. No, it's tremendous. Rob. Congratulations.
All right, you heard what I said, Oh Tani playing
with fire, Rob. I enjoyed the game. I enjoyed him
facing off against Trout last night. I'm not a killjoy.
I'm saying, if you're looking at your investment, if you
want to win, he's such a great offensive player, you're
playing with fire on this. If you continue to treat
him like a conventional starter.

Speaker 3 (19:50):
I'm with you.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
I've been saying this enough already. You know he had
some fun doing it with the Angels. Last year they
won the World Series. He didn't pitch one in. He's
not gonna be the reason pitching why they win the
World Series this year. And you know what, the way
he's pitched anyway, and amount of innings he's gonna pitch,
you'll be better off putting Craig Swan out there.

Speaker 9 (20:12):
I mean really, going back again, now you.

Speaker 3 (20:16):
Didn't google Craig Swan.

Speaker 9 (20:18):
That's right, getting into the Mets way back when you
did say the Padres ruined this division. I have to say.
The Dodgers got up nine last month, Rob, I thought
it had to be over this morning. Padres in first place.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
I'm not really surprised. Let's be honest.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
The Padres should have beat the Dodgers last.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
Year and should have gone to the World Series.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
You know that they choked down at three to one
league they were better than the Dodgers and they'd choke.
And this year, despite everything that went on, I still
like the Padres. And then they go out at the
trade deadline and load up and have a tremendous bullpen
and all stuff. This team is really good and they
don't get to the World Series. Something is wrong.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
There in San Diego.

Speaker 9 (21:04):
Okay, yeah, a lot of that has happenstance. But last
year you're right, they stopped scoring, had their opponents down
count was nine, could not score a run for a
long time. That's bad. But they're on top now, and
you're right. They sensed a little weakness little Lethargy and
the Dodgers, and they're getting after them all right, the Brewers.
Now tell me you're buying the Brewers twelve in a row. Rob,

(21:24):
you're on board now right.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
I'm not buying the Brewers.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
I still when I look at the Brewers, I see
a three dollar bill.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
And I hate to say that, but I do.

Speaker 9 (21:34):
Do you ever watch one of their games? Do you
ever watch one of their games and just watch them?
You know, you're one of these sports runners from other
defense and GrITT and guts and base running. That's what
these guys do.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
I've seen them. I remember they swept the Dodgers. So
I watch a lot of Dodger games. So I did
watch the Brewers. My problem isn't with the regular season.
We've seen this movie with the Brewers.

Speaker 9 (21:55):
Come on, I'm just it's a different club. They're gonna
be rolling out per Alta Woodroof and the Mids. It's
a little different.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Do you believe that they're going to the World Series,
because I don't until they.

Speaker 9 (22:09):
As good a shot as anybody, and in fact, probably
I would favor them, I think against everybody. Look, Phillies
might be the best team in the whole league, but
I might favor the Brewers over everybody. Slightly. It's a
crap shoot, but slightly.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
But here you go.

Speaker 2 (22:24):
You were the same guy who was saying, yeah, the
Twins will win a playoff game.

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Eventually it took like twenty games.

Speaker 9 (22:30):
A little Twins. Brewers are different. It's a very different animal,
and they're beating good teams. They are thirty seven to
twenty one against winning teams. They swept the Dodgers, they
beat in a lot of Paul schemes has like a
one era. Not against the Brewers. They've beaten them the
last two times. They didn't condunked them, and then they
sledge hammered him.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
Now I'm all the numbers, everything look good. And you
know this as well. The best team doesn't always win
the World Series. But the Brewers have a really long
history of failure in the postseason.

Speaker 9 (23:02):
They took the Dodgers to a game seven. I think
it was in twenty one. It was Game seven of
an NLCS. Robert, there's not a failure.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Too, bk. They should have beat the Mets last year.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
That was a joke job down.

Speaker 9 (23:14):
I don't know if it's a choke job is down
to the less swing? Alonso? All that? All right? Speaking
of the Mets, they had no business losing last night.
How about I mean, that was a bad loss. It's
six nothing, and Carlos Carrasco, who is DFA this morning,
was on the mound and they don't let him burn
and the Braves still won.

Speaker 3 (23:33):
How about that terrible loss? You let the Braves get
a nine piece and that was extra.

Speaker 9 (23:39):
That's like a nine piece.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Bucket from KFC would extra white meat?

Speaker 2 (23:43):
I mean, come on, what you can't lose that game
to the Braves. Oh, and the Mets are terrible? What
twelve or fourteen?

Speaker 9 (23:51):
Yeah, twelve or fourteen. Let me throw this in. If
the Mets and Yankees missed the playoffs, which actually could happen,
I'm stunned up even saying that, which would be worse
for the fan base, which would be worse to me.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
It would be the Mets, and from this standpoint, they
got the big Prize and Juan Soto, they were once
and I'm not making excuses for the Yankees, but you
lose your ace before the season starts, that's a big blow.
The Mets haven't had the kind of injuries that the
Yankees have had to endure, and I believe everybody thought

(24:24):
the Mets were going to be there and they got
off to, you know, a pretty.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Good start, even when jan Soto wasn't hitting.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
And to be this bad where they are and we're
almost you know, into September, is shocking that they're this bad.

Speaker 9 (24:37):
Yeah, I would say it's almost equal. It's like it's
it's stunning in that the Mets, the way they got
off to that start, even though Sodo was bad and
the rest of the team was good. It's more surprising,
and I think it's a little it's a little deeper
that cut if they don't make it, because there's just
an all around failure that's not quite explainable. Soto's not terrible,

(24:59):
no a lot, just having a nice year. Right Lindor
on the whole is doing okay, not great, but from
where they were and where they're supposed to launch, and
the way they started, I think it's gonna be a
bitter disappointment.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Big time. BK. When they got won Soto, they won.
They were supposed to be the Kings of New York
and baseball.

Speaker 7 (25:17):
They hold him.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
From the Yankees.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Oh and Soto was great for the Yankees, helped them
get to the World Series for the first time since
two thousand and nine.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
And all that. You grab him away from the Yankees
and you don't make the postseason. Something's wrong there, all.

Speaker 9 (25:32):
Right, Rob, great stuff. Congratulations on the press box at
seven pre we get that state. Thank you, Rob. We'll
talk to you next week, all right.

Speaker 7 (25:38):
B K.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
In the words of New York TV legend the late
Bill Jorgensen, thanking you for your time this time until
next time.

Speaker 9 (25:52):
Rob Parker out, he can't get it.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
This could be an inside of Parker. See you next week,
same bad time. That station
