You're listening to Fox Sports Radio. It is the I Couple.

(00:46):
Randy Mueller. He's a former NFL Executive of the Year
now the CEO of Mueller Football dot Com. So great,
great time to have him on to talk all things NFL.
But right now on the big news is uh Leveon Bell,
one time superstar, first four or five years in the league,
(01:09):
on a Hall of Fame Pace catches the Ball runs
it well. Released by the New York Jets. Came out
earlier today that they were looking to trade him. We
know he was looking to get out of there. I'm
sure he's happy. He's gonna get his money. He's gonna
you know, whichever team picks him up will will obviously
(01:31):
need him or think they need him and think he
can help him. So it'll probably get a better shot
and a better opportunity elsewhere. Rob, what are your thoughts? Yeah,
I mean, just another just crazy. I don't know. I'm
happy for Levion. He'll be able to go somewhere where
they could utilize him to correctly, put him in put
(01:52):
him in play to help. I thought he would be
great for Sam Darnold to open it up for him
where they'd have to respect to run and but I
but I just don't know what they did. They never
seemed to really use them the right way. And when
Adam Gates got the job, he was talking already. There
was rumors that, you know, he didn't want them. So
so I just I don't understand that. I mean, you
(02:14):
can't sign a play of that caliber, and it shouldn't.
You have talked to the coach before you gave him
the job to find out, like the star guy, you
gave a lot of money to to try to help
out your quarterback, and nobody's excelled there. It's just it's awful.
It's as bad as as I can remember. It's horrible.
It is flat out horrible. And um, you know, I
(02:36):
don't think unless unless I missed it, Rob, this stuff
come out and we know their relationship wasn't great. We
know that, as you said, Gates didn't want him at
least those were the reports. I don't know that the
relationship was as bad as it was with Jamal Adams,
but this again was second right, this is the second
top talent. Adams is a star and Leavian is a
(03:02):
former starring. You know, we'll see if he can regain
his form. He's only twenty eight, which for a running
back can be up there, but still twenty eight years old. Uh.
And they just gave these guys away, right, I just
I don't even I don't even get like they're lucky.
Their fan base can't come to the game seriously, like
(03:22):
like right, it would be ugly. They'd be in the
paper bags of course. And people in New York are
like looking at these two football teams and going, what
is happening? Oh and ten? We already know what the
Giants issues. You know, they're bad as well, but the Jets,
this is just rock bottom. When they hired at him.
Gays didn't couldn't figure it out. A guy in your
own division who you got to watch twice every year,
(03:45):
So what was there something that he was doing that
the Jets noticed that maybe Miami wasn't. I just didn't
even get that. And then he comes and the first
thing they do, the sign of any trouble or anybody
you know, saying anything. I guess is that to get
rid of you, no matter what. And if that's the
way they want to run their business, fine, but it
just it's it's head scratching, Yeah it is. And it'll
(04:09):
be interesting to see where Bell ends up. But we'll
see if he can, you know, regain his old form,
because he's looked bad. I mean obviously the Jets, like
you said, I agree, they've done some you know, they've
been ridiculous. I mean, Adam Gase didn't want him. You
paid him all that money and then you're bringing the
coach you really doesn't want him, and he hasn't produced
(04:32):
for you. It's not all on the Jets. Some of
it's on him, of course, but they certainly haven't really
given him much of a chance. And we'll see if
he can regain his old form. Rob let's go, let's
go back to the NBA and Magic Johnson, the great
Magic Johnson who did bring Lebron to LA And you know,
and one thing I thought, rob as the Lakers were
(04:56):
celebrating and you know, winning their championship, their seventeenth champions ship,
the fourth one phi Lebron, James was man part of
me that it ran through my mind. Man, Magic could
have just stayed because at that trade would have happened,
because it was largely driven by you know, I mean,
(05:17):
you know, Rich Paul Lebron's agent, Anthony Davis, his agent,
It would have happened. I don't I don't think that
was it. I mean magic that I say he could
have celebrated, you know, but a championship. I think when
he wanted to fire Luke Walton and Jeanie Bust put
the ki bosh on that, I think that's when Magic
(05:38):
just realized I'm not running this team and I can't,
you know, like I'm supposed to be making these decisions
and you know, you're so caught up on on Luke
Walton and your personal relationship with him or whatever. And
I think that because he quit abruptly, Chris when you
like that, I agree with you. I agree and walked
(06:02):
down and just quit and calling impromptu prop press conference. No,
I agree with you wholeheartedly. I'm just saying if he
had stayed, he would be celebrated as the guy that
put this team together. And look, Lebron clearly wanted to
(06:22):
be in LA. Would he have gone there with or
without Magic? I guess probably. I don't know for sure,
but I do know this Magic taking over the helm
the front office gave the Lakers the credibility of, you know,
regain their credibility in Lebron's eyes, you know, because Jim
(06:43):
Buss was had run them into the ground, Jim Bust
you know, Jim Bust Junior or Jim Buss, and they
were they were reeling and bringing in Magic, a guy
that Lebron respects and obviously the guy Lebron met with
that night in free agency, gave them the credibility where
Lebron could say I'll go there or you know, he
(07:05):
could believe enough in them. And I agree. I mean,
I'm not saying Magic would have been the one necessarily
pulling the strings, but he would have ended up getting
the credit. But he obviously gets enough accolades as it is.
So anyway, he was on first Take Rob and he
talked about the goat conversation and where Lebron is in
that with Michael Jordan. Here he is, oh, we don't
(07:30):
we don't have to sign my bad But basically, Rob,
you know what he said. He said that if Lebron
wins one more that he will be right there with Matt,
with Jordan as the goat. I got the direct quote.
I'm gonna read it to you here he goes Magic
(07:52):
Johnson on the Goat discussion. Lebron James is well on
his way. If he wins one more championship, Michael and
him are going to be right there together. If he
gets that next championship, is gonna be hard not to
say he's right there with him. Jay I said the
next one, which will be five for Lebron, because with
(08:15):
six for Jordan and four for Lebron right now, it's
hard to say he's overtaken Michael at four championships. I
think once he wins a fifth and repeats, you know,
meaning they win it next year, the keyword is repeat.
That's a good argument right there. So he's saying if
Lebron wins next year? That I mean, he didn't say
(08:38):
definitively be the goat, but he said he's right there
with him, Jay, your thoughts, he said nothing. Magic gave
you an empty quote, philed with nothing. He didn't tell
you anything because if you just said it and you
had and you had to qualify it because he didn't
make it clear. What does right there mean? What does
that mean? And if he was and if I was
(08:59):
on that show, I would have said, Magic, what do
you mean? What does that mean? It? Will he be
the gold if he wins a fifth? And what about
the six losses? Did that count in? Does that fact
just the five wins matter or does six losses factor in?
How would it? What does right there mean? Why? What?
It doesn't mean anything to me? There's a lot of
(09:21):
double talk going. It's him and in Hall and because
he doesn't want to make Lebron upset, you know, he's
still got to deal with with the with Michael or whatever,
you know, like so, so it's a lot of double talking.
This is why, you know, a lot of times you
have problems when you ask athletes to critique each other
because they're in bed with too many people, so they're
(09:44):
not gonna give you an honest take. They're not. I say,
they arrive on the heard uh last week and Jeff
Van Gundy and Mark Jackson seconded it. They've been saying,
you know, in the last few games of the play offs,
they were saying, Lebron James has had the greatest career
(10:05):
of any player ever. And so I went on Colin's
show and he asked me about that. I said, what
is that? I said, that's that's what? What does that mean?
If you've had the greatest career, you're the goal, you're
the greatest player? Yes, so and let me and I
said this, I said, how can you say that Lebron
(10:29):
James has had a better career than Michael Jordan's six titles?
Better or is four? Forget about leading the league and
scoring better? Or is one? Is nine? All defensive teams better?
Or is six? Is five? MVP Awards? Better? Or is four?
(10:52):
And I'm just it's building a franchise from nothing a
joke to a dynasty. Better or is going to a
few different places? Is three? Peating twice when only one
other duo, Shock and Kobe have done it in the
(11:14):
last fifty four years. And you did it by yourself
twice when Scottie Pippen is that better? Or is winning
is repeating once better? Or being in Cleveland eleven years
and winning one championship? And and look, I get the
longevity argument. You know, that's that's God. Obviously that's Lebron.
(11:35):
And and look it's more than longevity. He is he's
still in his prime. I mean, you know, we presume
he's at the tail end, but he's still balling out.
I mean, he's playing great. And that longevity argument the
length of time he was excellent. Okay, we get that.
The leading three different franchises to the championship, we get
(11:56):
that that is great. But when you said he, you
know kind of imply, well, Michael Jordan's the goat, but
Lebron's had a better career. As you say it, Rob,
it's double talk, it's a flap doodle, it's bolder dash, poppycock.
I mean, say it. They don't want to say it,
(12:17):
because see, this is the problem. If if Lebron wasn't
still playing, they would right now, Chris, they would say
Michael Jordan. But Lebron is still playing, and they feel like, well,
I'm doing the games, I'm gonna have to have access
to him. I don't want him to shut me out.
I don't want him to talk to ABC or ESPN
(12:38):
and saying I shouldn't be on the broad. That's the problem.
That's the problem. Seriously, guys, you guys could knock us
all you want, the sportswriters and the analysts and the
people or journalists who have gone to school for the training.
Knock us all you want. We're more objective. Athletes can't
(13:01):
be objective the ex athletes because that their their friends,
their buddies, that their agent knows the other guy's agent.
They played AU together. I don't know their kids play together.
They can't be honest with you. Magic did double talk.
(13:22):
And look, if Jeff and Mark want to say Lebron's
the goat, say it, say it. Hey, there's an argument.
I mean we I disagree, Rober disagree. There's an argument,
though I could craft an argument for Lebron. And so
we had but Channing Fry, Channing Fry coming on talking
(13:43):
about one A and one B. What what is that
we had to check them on that? Stop with the
double talk. What are you afraid of? Really? Lebron's wrath,
that's what it is, and Rob, you know this is
what we haven't even said it today. It's a trash
(14:04):
talking Tuesday that's coming up at the in about twenty minutes,
twenty five minutes, so get your takes ready. You can
trash anyone or anything in the world of sports, and
you should start calling. Like Rob said, about twenty minutes.
All right, it's the I Couple, Chris and Rob. You
know what to do. Keep it locked. Be sure to
(14:24):
catch live editions of The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard
and Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern four pm
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app. All right,
it is The Odd Couple Chris and Rob, and we're
coming to you live from the Geico Fox Sports Radio
studios and Rob little update. Tennessee just scored again. This
(14:50):
one was over. They have twenty eight ten with the
eleven minutes left in the fourth quarter. Buffalo still for real.
Four and one now fall too, and Tennessee will jump
to four and Ozer so you know, Josh Allen, they
do have the football and we'll see if he can
make some magic. But it's gonna be awfully tough. But
(15:11):
um rob G, Rob rob G. You know how he
likes to talk big and bad when he's off the air,
you know, And so he had a lot to say
during the break about your kind, you're and our conversation
and and and he he thinks, Lebron, do you think
(15:33):
Lebron is all ready to go? Rob G? No, that
that's not what I said. And I also what I
did say though, And this is for you Robert Parker
as well. I don't like to this show suddenly became
the shop where you got just agree on everything. We
were just disappointed. We just had a heated Uh okay,
I'll rephrase when it when it involves anything three year, two,
(15:57):
ringham morow, anything in the last anything that's from last century.
You guys are one hundred percent lockstep in on. Like
I said, off the year, I can feel the grays
in my beard coming in listening to you guys talk.
Because we think Jordan's the goal, No, because you don't.
It's not that you think he's the goal. It's that
you don't concede that it's a lot closer than you're
giving it credit as to how how him I do
(16:21):
I do think it's close when you look at the
totality of their careers. When it's all said and then,
Lebron's gonna have him wiped off the map statistically in
every category. But I understand. I understand that it's all
goes together. He played since he was in hype from
high school. But one if and when they win next year,
(16:42):
which they're the favorite to win it again next year,
every team that will because they always make he's good.
But it doesn't mean if he loses. Let me ask
you this, who's the best running back of all times
that I've seen, or who's the best the best stop?
I think I think Barry Sanders is the best running back. Okay,
Emmett Smith's numbers, but that's a different conversation. I'm just saying,
(17:05):
don't give me the just number Lebron has played. Michael
Jordan really had no no, no, no, no, don't say okay, okay,
he played a whole career. I'll say had thirteen. Now
he did play a whole career, right, but thirteen seasons.
That's counting his last two in Washington when he was
an old man and he got hurt one year, played
(17:26):
seventeen games a second year or eighteen whatever it was
and then came back from baseball, played seventeen or eighteen
that year, so he really had thirteen full seasons. Lebron
has had seventeen, and so he's gonna have probably twenty.
So you're darn skippy number's gonna smash ul Jordan's. Even
(17:47):
if you look at the advanced stats, Lebron's beating him
almost across the board too. Actually, the number one advanced
stat is pr and even the guy he invented. Wait
a minute, but if it but if you're looking at
it and these modern times, it tells you that Michael
Jordan's career still stacks up, because it's not always the case.
(18:09):
Sometimes you look at players from another time and you
look at his numbers and go, it's like the war
in baseball, and all of a sudden you look at
a couple of guys and go, well, he really wasn't
that good or as good as you we thought he
was at the time. Jordan still stacks up as the best,
as the best guy. Well, get a big part of it,
rob both ribs is the three point shot. That's true.
(18:30):
Shooting percentages are much higher now. Points per game are
much higher now because half of the people's shots are
three pointers. I mean, seriously, when half of your shots
are worth three and ninety eight percent of mine were
only worth two or nine. Different Michael Jordan averaged thirty
points a game when you could get hammered in the paint,
(18:53):
when you could hand check, and when teams average about
ninety five points a game. Now how you average thirty
in the league where teams are scoring one hundred and
ten of game half the shots to three pointers. You
can't hand check them. There's nobody in the paint the
contest your shot on most nights, Luca, look at Luca
Docher just numbers in this playoffs, they're to basically the
(19:17):
same as Lebron's. Look at James Harden's numbers. Look at
Russell Westbrook having an average in a triple double three
straight years, right, I mean, you can't just numbers. I'm
not saying it's just the numbers. I'm saying that's partner.
You notice how Rob Parker, how that base is gone
from what what I'm saying, trouble up in here, hard
(19:38):
to get it this. I see now why Rob got frustrated.
Now we too, because you guys talk are so long winded.
You can't get a sentence into the Look, what Lebron
James is gonna have working for him is that he's
gonna say, I've been to the finals every year for
the second half of my career. Basically, I'm gonna have
I'm guessing five, child, he's gonna get six and gonna
(19:59):
have five. He gonna have every single major record statistically
in NBA history. So when you factor all of that
in and you're discussing the greatest player of all time,
his his resume is gonna be right there, if not
better than Michael Jordan's. But how can he? But but
how come? Here's my other thing. Go ahead, you're looking
(20:21):
for the at the end of the game to win
the game. Okay, huh, who are you giving the ball
to Lebron? Okay? Right, But that doesn't mean no, no, no,
I'm just I'm just but it just says something to
me because I think most people will say Michael Jordan, right,
(20:42):
And I'm just saying that that's a part of being
this greatness is that most people would not not only
because not that Lebron can't make a shot, but you're
afraid if he goes into the free throw line, do
you know what I mean, like like there's some other
stuff that also factors into being the greatest. Michael doesn't
just have six rings. He has all these other numbers
(21:04):
that people just stop talking about. But this whole notion
that it's only the six rings is fraudulent and uh
absolutely right. Now that's what the young folks want to
dumb it down to. Oh it's just six rings. It's
not just six. We rebring up all types of stuff
and I'm gonna throw this that you, Rob G, because
I'm open. I'm not you know, Stephen A went on
(21:27):
to Day said there's nothing and Rob you're probably there too.
There's nothing Lebron can do to become the goat. I'm
not going there. I'm open to sin and I don't
know if I'd say if he's got five, may if
he gets six. But there's there are other things, rob G.
But give me. But here's what you're fighting up. Here's
(21:50):
what I'm going it, which should be an uphill battle.
The pass Michael Jordan. Why is it that he would
have to have six championships to match him? But it
is an additional five more appearances. It's no, it's not
matching him. It's getting to five hundred in the finals.
It's not having a losing record in the finals. That's
that's where and I'd have to wait and I'd have
(22:13):
to wait and see. That's when you're dismissing. But no,
I'm not dismissing how how because you're you're taking a
part of the Cleveland the first time against san Antonio,
one of the biggest underdog in history. Hold on, Roger,
let me go, because you're right. I don't hold that
against Lebron. But the problem with that argument is that
(22:36):
Lebron gave up championships. He should have won. Dallas, you
should have. Michael Jordan never gave up a title he
should have won. I don't think he ever lost a
series he should have won, and Dallas should have won. Yeah,
when Jason Terry out scored him and old san Antonio
ran roughshot over the Miami Heat, when Lebron had the
(22:57):
stack team for four years, the only one that white,
which is great, but it's not Michael Jordan. Yeah, one
of the more disappointing elite teams ever. We talked about that. Wait, right,
here's the other thing. Let's get to the games. Their games.
Mike give me a weakness in Michael Jordan's game. I
wouldn't say any okay, I would say Lebrons. Yeah, there's
(23:21):
a bunch of them. I would agree that Michael Jordan
is a better player. But when it comes to the
goat debate, just like Tom Brady doesn't necessarily mean he's
the best quarterback ever. It means he's had the greatest
career of any player. Let's not go that's not that's
what people say about Tom Brady because I've never met
a single person who thinks Tom Brady's the best quarterback
they've ever seen. Ever, no one has ever said that
(23:43):
that he's not exactly, but he's referred to widespread, maybe
not by everybody, by a lot of people. Well, it's
also a tad different in that football is. And it
maybe this works against goat. Brady's got you know, goat title,
But basketball one player can have a lot, even a quarterback,
(24:04):
as much impact as they have Basketball's five players. And
you can have more of an impact in basketball as
a star than you can in football, even as the quarterback,
because if your line is horrible, if you got no receivers,
no running game, it's gonna be hard on you so
interesting discussion right there. All right, we got Randy Mueller
(24:27):
coming up, former NFL Executive of the Year. But first,
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the iHeart Radio app search FSR
to listen live. He's a former NFL Executive of the
Year CEO of Mueller Football dot Com. We welcome Randy
(24:48):
Mueller to the Eye Couple. Randy, how are you? What's lcome? Great? Guys?
I always get swell in my face when I know
I'm coming on with you. Guys. Hey, it's a lot
of fun having you on. Man, We respect your knowledge.
Let's get right to it. Lamar Jackson, Now they're still
for one. They're looking great except for the game against
Kansas City. But Lamar's numbers aren't close to what they
(25:09):
were last year. Is this an issue our teams figuring
him out? Why isn't he putting up the same numbers?
And do you think this could be a problem down
the line? Well, I think it's a league of adjustments,
to be honest with you, Chris, it always has been.
I think defensive coaches in the NFL are really good
and eventually they find ways, especially with very athletic quarterbacks
(25:33):
like Lamar, they find ways to keep you in the pocket.
So they're gonna they're gonna come up with the mush rush.
They're gonna come up with a disciplined outside rush that
doesn't really rush. They're gonna figure out ways to control
him and know where he's at. Obviously he's still gonna
break out and make plays outside the pocket, but it's
a struggle to do it consistently against good defenses. So
(25:55):
now it's up to the Ravens to figure out the
next chess move. You know, they gotta figure out a
way to to maybe have some more designs to get
him out on the edge, to really be run pass
oriented in the same play, to put pressure on those
edges and on the corners. So we'll see. It's a
period of adjustment now, and the balls in the Ravens
court what what? Well? We have m agents from here
(26:20):
on out not allowed as star quarterbacks to play without
a big contract in place. I mean the Dak Prescott situation.
When you look at it, did they did his agent
or him do the right thing by betting on himself
in a sport where you could get hurt. It just
seems like he probably should have had a bigger deal
(26:41):
or shouldn't have been out there with the potential of
getting hurt. Well, there's always risk, no doubt about it.
When you talk about the giant dollars that these games
are in nowadays, I can kind of see it from
both sides. But here's the thing with Dak and God
blessed him and his family as the injury was awful.
I can't even watch it. Yeah, having said that, at
I don't think it's going to change anything. Rob. To
(27:03):
be honest with you, I think he'll still get paid.
He's still going to be It'll still be up to
the Cowboys whether they tag him or not. If they
tag him, it's going to be another thirty eight million
dollars a year, and I think that's the only way
they'll have to keep him as if they tag him,
because guess what, there's gonna be other teams even more
desperate they're gonna sign him. Hey, you're talking to a
guy who had Drew Brees signed in Miami when he
(27:26):
tore his rotator cuff, his labrom and the whole bit
on his throwing shouldering. We still were willing to give
him ten million a year until our doctors said no.
So there's gonna be a market for Jack Prescott. I
don't think it's going to be a discount of market either.
I've heard a lot of things out of Dallas, Jerry
and their whole crew the last twenty four hours. It's
not going to be a discount. They're not going to
(27:46):
get him on a one or two year deal to
prove it. Somebody's gonna pay him, just a matter of who, Randy.
Let's get to the news that broke was in the
last hour, and that's the Jets releasing leaveon Bell. Now
does this make sense for the Jets? You still got
to pay the guy and you let Jamal Adams go.
(28:06):
Now it's Leavian Bell. And two, what do you think
is a good landing spot for Bell? And you know
our team's gonna really be high on him and trying
to get him in their building. Well, a couple of things.
I think. First of all, we now know the formula.
If you want to get out of New York, you
just gotta say something bad about the coach, right, come on, seriously,
(28:27):
I mean that's all it takes. And they just let
you go, no matter how talented you are. That's crazy.
I don't understand it. Having said that, they said they
did it because they'll make their team better. I don't know.
I don't see another back on their team that makes
them better, that's for sure. But I do think there
will be a little bit of a market for him.
They still owe him six million dollars and that's gonna
be offset if he takes another deal. So what if
(28:49):
Phil Belichick calls and offers him a veterans minimum deal.
The Jets will be paying him five point five millions
to play for, the PA will be paying in five
hundred grand, and he'll be beating their butts right right?
Can you still help a team? Do you think? Like?
I mean, he obviously hadn't looked good in New York,
but it's hard to look good there with that team. Yeah,
that they've written a book on kind of how to
(29:11):
mess things up in New York fest for sure. I
think he will be hungry. I think he will be
abut to prove somebody wrong. I do think he's got
mileage left on him, for sure. A matter of finding
the right setup. And again, I don't think the Patriots
have a guy like him. They've got some pieces that
they interchange. They want to run the ball anyway. They'll
find a way, I think, to use him, and I
(29:32):
could see him landing there. There maybe be another team
or two involved, but it's gonna be minimum salary that
gets him, because no one's gonna pay him more than
six million, and the Jets are already on the hook
for the balance of it. So it'll be interesting to
watch the next twenty four hours. I could see him
land in someplace fast. We got like a minute ago.
We've seen a couple of coaches get fired. Quinn got fired.
(29:54):
Is Matt Patricia next or does he survive the year?
You know? I think they're I see a little bit
different scenario in Detroit. I do think they have a
little better team or surrounding Stafford. I think it's a
it's a group that he has proved that he can
get the defense playing better, and they've done that. I
(30:14):
guess time will tell them. He's in a in a
division that's gonna be tough. Obviously, the Packers are kind
of running away with things. I think Minnesota is better
than their record shows. Obviously, the Bears are good. Mike, Yeah,
the Bears are good. At some point, we're gonna have
to give them a little credit. I've been late to
jump on that bandwagon. But you know, he's got his
work cut out for him. I don't know what success
(30:35):
is in Detroit. Is eight Nate enough for him to
survive seven to nine? I don't know. They've got to
get over the hump at some point. All right, Randy Mueller,
former NFL Executive of the Year CEO of Mueller Football
dot Com. Make sure you check out that website. Randy,
thanks a lot. We'll get you on soon. Sounds good, guys,
Good talking to you. Yep, yeah, always, thank you? All right, Rob,
(30:57):
what's it time for? All right? Trash talking to Tuesday
line up eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven,
seven nine nine, six sixty three sixty nine. Bring it
The Eye Couple of Fox Sports Radio. Be sure to
catch live editions of The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard
and Rob Parker weekdays at seven pm Eastern four pm
Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeart Radio app.
(31:20):
All Right, it's The Eye Couple, Chris and Rob coming
to you live from the Geico Fox Sports Radio Studios.
You know what time it is. It's time for trash talk.
Don't you ever talk about me? It's trash talking Tuesday.
It's teeth rage. I don't know whether the smile lets
(31:40):
you kick a field goal. All right, let's kick it
off with Tony in La. You're on the eye couple
of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Tony Hey? What's up fellas? Hey?
I heard somebody was looking for respect. Lebron James is
channeling his inner CARDI bat. His lips are twarking. If
(32:00):
you want respect, Lebron James, you should have showed up
at Blade's pizza. Remember that. If you want respect Lebron
James in two thousand and four, you should have won
gold instead of bringing home Lebron's medal. If you want
respect Lebron James as a Laker, you should not have
had the team up with a Buster Celtic and Rosa
(32:21):
Rondo to win a championship for the Lakers. We had
sixteen tips before you came here. So go to New
North if you want worship, because on Sundays in La
we go to church. Baby that was strong comes strong.
But George Royster, Uh, I'm sorry, George. I wanted to
(32:45):
call him George, but my name man. Hey, I'm cracked.
I'm crashing you and Rob Crid. You guys have nerves.
It was nauseating sitting over here, listen to you two
old heads, just just over here, just like, oh, yes, yes,
(33:08):
co signing each other, Yes, Michael, Michael, Michael, Dude, it
was old. It's tired. You guys sound like old. Get
off my lawn, guys, and you won't let common sense
get the way of your argument. Lebron James. I was
a Jordan guy, grew up a Jordan guy, but I
had to admit Lebron what Lebron James has done on
(33:29):
and off the court? What what Michael does. It's harder
to do things on the court when you're worried about
off the court stuff too. So I'm gonna let everybody
else get in the trash talk. But both of you
deserve it. Just over there, co signing each other's growth
(33:54):
and Wenna get We gonna get ronst soon, so you
can out. Yeah, I'm on Judith the DC, you're on
the Yard Couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Judith Parker.
You don't get away with it stealing Nation. Don't let
you get away with it. We heard that crack, our
Hall of Fame quarterback was injured. Last year. We were traded.
(34:18):
We traded the rocket man who had some legs so
we could get our defense right west, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Now your turkey, your turkey, you're always cracking on it.
But we always there. How many championships we got pro
and we don't close. We wait and let the season
play out. Stealers here we go. Stealers find Judith. We
(34:43):
got some good again. Erican Calumber. Jude, you're on the
yard couple of Fox Sports Radio. Who you trashing, jem Man.
I'm hitting both of you, at Robber and Chris and
that last caller for talking that stuff. Put some spects
on it. Lebron Jame tired the Boston Celtics and all
y'all Clippers fans. I was spending a thousand years talking
(35:05):
about the Clippings, Clippers, Equippers, Clippers. Now everybody hurting like
that guy from LA talking about they was great going
to church on Sunday. He's a Clippers fan. Matti jasn't
brought him there. And you look at the caliber who
he beat, Curries Tim Duncans and to bring that championship
back to LA. In the second year he was people
talking about he wouldn't get another championship. Hey, many respective
(35:27):
about Curry. What I'm the greatest team. They was up
three one. He came back and beat them. These are
all great players. Tim Duncan got a thousand rings. He
came back and beat them. He'd beat Looking at the
Michael Jordan beat who Josh Wis championships. They got funny,
come on man Portland and LA had been destroyed by
(35:49):
the Pistons already. He ain't even beat nobody. He'd go,
He'd beat La Bird. I don't get it. Yeah, I'll
give you this. He's are the people that Lebron stopped
from winning championships. Derek Rose, Jimmy Butler, Dwight Howard, Paul
George and Carmelo Anthony. Now let me give you Michael's list. Barkley,
Kevin Johnson, Kemp Peyton, Reggie Miller, Patrick Ewing, stocked in Malone.
(36:14):
Those are the those are and if and if he
didn't retire those two years, Chris the Few, Elijahwana, Drexeler
might not Brown right. He kept Alige one from winning
when Michael was playing I mean, and here's the thing,
because I battled with Nick Wrighting on this. You know
he wants to count the year Lebron or Jordan came
back from baseball after a year and a half off. Right, Well,
(36:36):
here's the proof. You can't expect anybody to be close
to the top of their game after a year and
a half away from the sport. Lebron was off six
weeks last year with an injury and couldn't lead the
Lakers to the playoffs, to the playoffs six weeks. Compare
that to a year and a half of playing baseball.
So I'm just saying, I don't even count that year
(36:58):
they lost to Orlando. They can't back and sweat shock
and Penny. Right, do we is that? It? Are we done?
I don't think we have time? Do we? We can
go one more? Joseph in Indiana make it quick on
the odd couple of Fox Sports. Ready, who's trashing and
trash talking Lebron James that's fourth Collie once means nothing
because he did not win it for Kobe. He didn't
(37:19):
want it for himself. He'll never have the man. He's
a man who destroys the NBA magic, magic and bird
and Jordan Kobe all filled with we can see he
has shorted, as Clay Travers states a fact Lebron James
ruined the NBA shows. We had some spirited calls today
(37:41):
for trash talk. Dude, she was really on my I'm
a little upset at both of you though, Rob and
Chris about you know, like when we have a trash talk,
it's supposed to be the fans can ram. But you
guys been jumping on everybody today. What's up with that? Yeah,
because it's been a rough day. I'm ricka Moroe. We'll see.
(38:02):
That was different when I said it last time. It's
different and what all right? It is the Eye Couple.
