On today’s episode, Jason discusses how a loss to the Denver Broncos - coupled with the injuries to Micah Parsons and Christian Watson - effectively ended the Green Bay Packers season on Sunday, how Josh Allen showed why he is arguably the most feared quarterback in the NFL in a thrilling comeback win over New England, why it's clear that the Kansas City Chiefs need a roster overhaul around Patrick Mahomes in 2026 now that they've officially been eliminated from postseason contention (and Mahomes is out for the year with a torn ACL), the biggest question marks surrounding the Los Angeles Rams and the Seattle Seahawks even as they sit atop the NFC, and whether or not Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza is really worth of the number one pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Finally, J-Mac closes the show with his Best Bets for Monday Night Football and quick lookahead at the NFL Week 16 lines.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
This is straight fire with Jason McIntyre.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
What is up, Straight fire Fire. It's me Jason McIntyre,
Straight Foyer for Monday, December the fifteenth, And uh, hope
everybody had had a good weekend. I you know, I
thought it was a fine weekend. The NFL gambling was
going great, and then the afternoon slate happened. Chiefs Smiths

(00:32):
the playoffs. It's official, officially official. O casey Thunder go
down Saturday night against the Spurs. That was like an
awesome NBA game. And it's pretty clear that listen, thunder
are great. But come on, let's stop. They cannot be
mentioned in the class of the Curry Durant Warriors, Jordan's Bowls. Like,
let's just the little eighties Lakers.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Just stop.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
It's goofyness. Okay, can we just stop with that? No
college football, really, I didn't watch the bowl game. I
didn't have time for Army Navy. This really the weekend
came down to football on Sunday, and I was rolling
high on life. After the early window contest was going great.
Fantasy looked like three out of four things were going smoothly, okay,

(01:19):
and then that Packers Broncos game happened, and shortly before that.
You know, as I'm celebrating the Chiefs missing the playoffs,
I'm not celebrating Patrick Mahomes tearing his ACL and being
out for the season and obviously out for this season,
and he's probably going to miss the start of next season,
maybe the first month too, I don't know. I mean, hell,

(01:41):
we need to determine how bad the ligament damage is.
But you're seeing what happened with Brandon Ayuk with the Niners.
He was hurt mid season last year, had the surgery.
He ain't playing this year for the Niners now. He
clearly didn't want to come back. Patrick Mahomes is a
real athlete as opposed to Ayuk, who's clearly just in
it for the money as he That was obvious last summer,

(02:02):
last offseason, I should say, But like Mahomes is gonna
work out like a mad man to get back, obviously,
but that stings. And then Michael Parsons tears his ACL.
I mean, that is just devastating Super Bowl futures down
the tubes for me, the Packers. I mean I should
start with that. Obviously, the Bills Patriots game was phenomenal.
You know, let me just start with Packers Broncos. Obviously,

(02:23):
I'm sorry, Well Bill's Patriots. We can get to that shortly.
But that Packers Broncos game was huge for me. I
had Packers, I was feeling great. Packers were rolling. They're
up twenty three fourteen in the third quarter, and they
have the ball and they have I think they scored
on five straight possessions. It was like, Wow, this is
the Packers team.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
I know.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Golden's back, Watson's back, Josh Jacobs was cooking as a receiver.
He caught an amazing touchdown, had a great touchdown run.
I mean, we're talking to the Broncos were on their
heels twenty three fourteen. And then Jordan loved mister risk
att no risk, get no biscuit, chucks a bomb for Watson.

(03:03):
Man coverage against Sirtan and no lies. Sirtan made a
great play. Cirtan gets the pick, but as he dives
in lands he lands on the arm of Watson as
he's landing, and Watson did not get up. I don't know.
Initially they said it was a chest. It looked to
me like a shoulder. I don't think the arm was broken.
We're waiting for word on what happened, But bottom line,

(03:25):
it wasn't good. Watson stayed down forever, did not return
to the game. Folks, it was twenty three to fourteen
at that point. The rest of the way the Packers
were outscored twenty to three. The rest of the way,
the Packers had fifty five yards of offense. So remember
twenty three points scores on five straight possessions, and you

(03:49):
mean to tell me they can't do anything with Watson off.
That is a horrible indicator for future performance. Now, obviously
in the middle of the game it hurts, but you've
got deep receiving cores, and then it gets worse. Also
in the third quarter, which is gonna be the quarter
that ends their season, Michael Parsons is rushing Nicks and
makes a move and comes up lame, and clearly he
knew instantly was his knee and he is ruled out

(04:12):
with an acl His season is over. And for Micah
that's horrible because his game is predicated on explosiveness. I mean,
we probably won't see himntil Thanksgiving next year. It's just
it was such a brutal weekend. I don't even think
the Packers are Super Bowl contenders anymore. I just had
a Jordan Love MVP ticket. That's cooked. Any of the Packers, Bills, Packers, Ravens,

(04:34):
All the Super Bowl futures with the Packers are done.
I mean, I'm not saying they won't make the playoffs,
but I don't see them as a legit contender in
the NFC without watching unless Golden Overnight can turn into
Watson and they can manufacture a pass rush without Parsons.
And then the final element to that is they lost
their right tackles. Zach Tom went down, didn't return. So

(04:55):
just a just a really, really difficult game for the Packers.
And I cannot not mention how good Bonnicks was. I've
got to give him props. Bo Nicks had by far
the best game of his career. Now, he did absolutely
cook once Michael Parsons saw off the field, but he
was cooking before then. Bonnicks not sacked, okay, moved really

(05:17):
well in the pocket, three hundred and two yards passing
four touchdowns. I thought that was the best game of
his career. And the Broncos in the red zone four
for four, Packers only won for four. It was I
was I vaulted the Broncos. To me, I didn't think
they were a legit Super Bowl contender, and they tend

(05:37):
to play down to their competition. I can't unsee the
Jets Broncos game. Remember I woke up that was a
London Spain with Drid Bridget wherever. The hell of the
game was international and the Broncos gonna do a damp
thing against my reeling Jets. Okay, and I know you
can't judge a team on one one performance, but like
look at all the other ones. The offense just has
not been there unless it's like desperation time, and I

(06:00):
guess it was and they delivered. So I would put
the Broncos in that category, right there with the Buffalo Bills,
and I guess the Patriots would be behind them. Houston Texans,
like the Broncos are real. That was an impressive victory.
I was feeling really good about that one for the Packers,
and then they just get blown out as soon as
Christian Watson leaves the field. And it's just not a

(06:21):
good forward looking indicator for Green Bay. But I do
think that Patriots Bills was probably a purely better game
because folks, I'm gonna give you some numbers here. So
the Patriots, you know, I had the Bills on this one. Obviously,
we talked about it and I just liked them. Had
them in the contest. The first quarter it was twenty

(06:42):
one zero Patriots. They had a one hundred and forty
four to five. That's right, the Patriots had one hundred
and forty four yards, the Bills had five. That was
in the first quarter, first downs, nine to zero. Patriots
were rolling and I made a little bet. I think
I got plus six and a half when the Bills
were down bad. I took him, you know, live, because

(07:05):
I believe in Josh Allen. In these money games where
it's December and you don't trust your tight end and
you don't trust your run game, you know how you trust,
you trust Josh Allen and this this was a game
where he simply put the team on his back and
was unbelievable in a performance that I think the MVP
stuff every day is annoying, but this was an MVP

(07:28):
caliber performance for Allen. Here's the weird thing. He only
threw for one hundred ninety three yards, right, but after
they were down twenty one nothing the Bills, here's what
they did these are then following five drives forty two
yards touchdown, forty four yards touchdown, seventy yards touchdown, ninety
one yards touchdown, sixty five yards touchdown. Essentially, they said, guys,

(07:48):
no more screwing around, and they didn't do it with
a ton of explosive plays. James coke longest carry was
twelve yards. Shakiir had a long catch and run. Dalton
Kinkaid had a long catching run, but it was nothing
deep down the field. It was like, hey man, we're
just gonna methodically move the ball down the field because
we don't think the Patriots defense is great. And frankly,
Patriots defense was not great. Bill's eight for fourteen on

(08:10):
third down totally delivered. I was. I mean, listen, the
Patriots had won one hundred and four straight home games
when they're leading by twenty one or more. Now, a
lot of that obviously is Tom Brady, but think about that,
You're at home, you're up three touchdowns. You gotta seal
that up, lock it down, and they couldn't. Now here's
where it gets interesting and scary if you're a Patriots fan.

(08:33):
So in the second half, the Patriots against this B
leaguer Bills defense, which a dog walked in the first half.
The New Egal Patriots had eighty total yards in the
second half, and sixty five of them came on one
run by Henderson, So you ripped that out and it's like, whoa,
why couldn't they suddenly move the ball now. I'm sure
all the guys once they released the All twenty two,

(08:55):
all the film guys are gonna go deeply over it.
But it did feel like they stepped up the pressure.
That was the one number I did see. They blitzed
Drake May a lot more, and they disguised where the
blitz was coming from. You can't just say, oh, we're
gonna bring a safety up and blitz, or we're gonna
bring a linebacker up. That's easy to read. On a
pivotal fourth down, they blitzed up the middle and Bosa

(09:17):
on the edge dropped into coverage. May clearly like wait, wait,
where's the blitz coming from? What's going on? Rolls out
and then Bosa charges him. It was a really good
play by Bosa and then bats down the fourth down
pass and it was like, just oh my gosh, perfect timing.
McDermott saved his Bacon Elissten down twenty one nothing. It

(09:37):
felt like, Okay, Rabel, he's taken over. McDermott, You're in trouble.
Who wants the job? It was almost for a second
like the Bengals job's gonna be open. We know it's
gonna be it should be open. And the Buffalo Bill's job,
And who do you want to coach? Josh Allen or
Joe Burrow because you don't want to go to the Giants,
you don't want to go to the Titans. I don't
know if the Cardinals job is gonna be open, but
it might be. But like this, McDermott really turned it

(10:02):
around with a great second half performance by the defense
and the Bills offense. I just trust Josh Allen right
now more than anybody in the league. It used to
be Mahomes. Remember he would get the ball, they would
be trailing, and Mahomes would come down and win the game.
That's just how it went for like, I don't know,
five or six years, that wasn't the case.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Let's pivot to Mahomes, who obviously has season's over the
ACL injury. That stinks. It's terrible. Nobody's rooting for that. Yes,
we were obviously rooting for the Chiefs to lose and
get knocked out. Now, I didn't think it would be
the Chargers sweeping them that would ENKC season. But how
about those Chargers. They were down thirteen to three. It

(10:57):
was looking very bleak point. I'm like, hmm, yeah, it
does feel like it's kind of over. Thirteen to three
in the second quarter and the Chargers. Wait, wait, I'm
trying to think, yeah, this was a late first half,
and the ESPN changed there. Oh, there it is, Okay,

(11:18):
so it was thirteen three, late first half. The Chargers
get the ball back with is that right? Yeah, thirty
eight seconds left, down thirteen three. They get a good
return and then Herbert just started dealing. And I'm talking
justin Herbert. Remember this guy's getting just blown up every week.

(11:38):
He was sacked I think five times, four or five times,
and just kept getting up. He's really a warrior, man.
I don't see how you can't love Herbert. He only
had two hundred ten yards passing, but he made a
bunch of deep through a deep bomb on that final
drive in the first half to Harris the rookie, incredible catch.
He got hurt on the play, so then that puts

(11:59):
you right outside the red zone. And then Herbert made
an unbelievable pass to a guy I've never heard of,
Lambert Smith. I don't know who that is. He catches
a touchdown. It was like, oh, instead of thirteen three
at the half, it's thirteen to ten. And then the
Chargers get the ball for a second half, which is
what everybody should want. That's clearly the move. The Bills

(12:20):
got it, the Packers got it, Like, that's the move.
You want the ball for a second half so you
can try to win what do they call it the
middle eight where you win like the final half of
the second quarter, like the final four minutes of the
second quarter, and then you get the ball and you
go and you score, so you could double up, and

(12:42):
that's what the Chargers did. They went and got the
field goal and then they basically never let go of
the game after that. Their defense was incredible. Mahomes was
sacked five times and listen, I know everybody's gonna pour
some out for Mahomes obviously, but guys, he just he
did not play a good football game once again. No right,
it stings, but he's got no run game. The longest
carry twelve yards by Mahomes. But this is a Chiefs

(13:04):
offense that had two hundred and thirty nine yards of
offense four yards per play in a got to have
it season on the line game. Now, I know we're
gonna hear a lot of excuses. Well, they were tired
all those playoff games. You guys knew they played those
playoff games the last few years. We're talking about. This
is they don't have a good roster. This is they

(13:24):
got lucky as shit last year, winning a million close games.
Any close game.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
This year they're losing.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
So some of us could have seen this coming and
called in the offseason, and then we were called crazy
and just wait till they get Xavier Worthy and Rashi
Rice back. Just wait, I'm still waiting. I mean, frankly, Mahomes.
They're down three in the fourth quarter. Mahomes drives them
into the red zone third and twelve, right, trying hard

(13:51):
to make a play. But remember, hey, you got butker
you got the field goal in your back pocket and
Mahomes those a terrible pass underthrown horribly intercepted by the
charge inside the five, and that ended it. And then
they ended up getting the ball back. That's the driver.
Mahomes got hurt Gardner Minshew throws a pick trying to
target Kelsey and that's that and the dynasty ends with

(14:12):
a whimper, and Folks does it. There's gonna be a
lot of changes. We'll have all off season to cover it.
But this Chiefs team is gonna look nothing like it
did this year. They will probably be willing to move
off of just about anybody not named Mahomes and invest
in the offensive line because the swing tackle they got,
Jalen Moore, went down early in this game and Mahomes

(14:34):
just under pressure. He just I mean sacked five times.
Two guys had two two wee Upolodo. I butchered his name,
the kid from UCLA, right, Yeah, oh no USC, Yeah USC,
Ucla guy went to Indy and Oway who I think
was drafted by Baltimore. Yeah, they moved off of him.

(14:55):
He's had a nice little run here for the Chargers
as a pass rusher, A sack against Philly, two sacks
against the Chiefs, two sacks against the Titans. Yeah, it's
a nice by low spot. And the Chargers, man, they're
a tough team. They don't have any offensive line. They
have a nice one to two punch in the run game.
Harbaugh knows to utilize the tight ends. Lad mcconkey's been quiet.

(15:18):
Quinton Johnson missed this game, but there's a lot to
like about the Chargers. When I do, though, look at
the playoff breakdown. I don't exactly know how to handicap
this Chargers team. So as of now, just now, Broncos
are the one, Patriots two, jag Steelers three four. Will
Steelers play tomorrow night, sorry, tonight against the Dolphins. Steelers

(15:41):
play tonight against the Dolphins. Chargers five Bill six Texan seven. So,
assuming the Chargers hold, they will go to Ravens or
Steelers in the first round, or possibly if they slide
back or get passed by Buffalo, they would then visit Jackson,
which has a strong stranglehold on the three seed. I'll

(16:03):
be honest, I don't think the charge I don't think
either of those teams are favored by a field goal
over the Chargers. I don't now, the Jaguars did annihilate
them thirty five to six, but that was like that
was only a few weeks ago. It was a great
spot for the Jags. I don't think the Chargers are
gonna be scared to go down there for the rematch.
Of course, they played a great playoff game several years ago.
Chargers were up like twenty seven to nothing and then

(16:25):
blew it. But Chargers are a dangerous team in the AFC.
Buffalo obviously is the sixth You know, you don't want
to see them if you're Jacksonville. You definitely don't want
to see them if you're the Ravens. And then the
seventh team seven seed is the Houston Texans, who ironically
they might be seeded last, but they might be the
best team in the AFC right now if you just

(16:46):
look at who's playing the best. I mean, we're not
going to really talk about it, but I had Texans
in the contest, talk told you guys about it here
nine and a half ten. It didn't matter. I mean,
they Houston punted once in this game. They just moved.
They're clicking on all cylinders. What they won one, two, three,
four or five, six, wins in a row. They did

(17:07):
lose to Denver at home, but that was the game
Stroud got knocked out and the backup came in. Like,
I don't put too much stock in that. They play
the Raiders this week, that's a win. That Houston game
against the Chargers Christmas the weekend after Christmas will be
very interesting. Now. The one game I didn't get that
was kind of significant. It wasn't the Ravens Bills. Oh

(17:32):
it was it, Oh, Ravens Bengals. I'm sorry, Ravens Bengals.
Oh no, No, it was Rams Lions. Obviously in the
afternoon's late, so Rams are getting their doors boxed in. Okay,
it's twenty four to fourteen Lions. I'm on ros Saint
Brown in the first half had one hundred and twenty
six yards. He's absolutely cooking. I thought I saw a
stat that they were five hundred and eighteen yards of

(17:55):
offense in the first half, a high in the NFL
this season. So I'm like, shoot, the Rams are in trouble.
I actually didn't know. I had I bet the Rams
in the game, but I didn't at halftime double up
and be like, hmm, let me take a look I
probably should have. I was really locked in on the
Packers game. Rams come out in the third quarter seventeen
nothing run folks. This went from twenty four to fourteen lions.

(18:21):
Next thing you know, it's forty one twenty seven. So
that is similar to the Broncos, where these teams can
get hot peel stuff off and you can't catch up
with them. Now, I didn't think the Broncos could do it.
We know the Rams are a juggernaut that I think
they've topped thirty four points in six of eight games.
The secondary's a major concern. That's obvious, right because we

(18:44):
saw Amanrag go off. We saw the Panthers hurt them badly.
But I mean Stafford started quietly and then when you
could get Kyron Williams going for seventy eight and Blake
Korum going for seventy one, that run game combined with
Puka nine for a buck eighty one. Puka was a monster. Now.
They did lose DeVante Adams to what appeared to be
a hamstring. It looked bad. He stopped running in the

(19:05):
middle of the play, went down, stayed down, did not return.
They do still have the tight end weapons too, to
out well came in. He's returned from the IR so
I'm not that worried about the offense even without DeVante.
It's the defense that concerns me. Goff three point thirty eight,
three touchdowns and I'm on ra and even Jamo Jamison
Williams had a really good game. The good news for

(19:27):
the Rams is that they now have the inside track
on the number one seed thanks to that Packers loss.
Eagles won, but they're not gonna get it, I mean
unless they tie, and it sets up Rams Seahawks huge
game on Thursday night. Football winner will be the leader
for one. If the Rams win Thursday in Seattle, they

(19:53):
will definitely have the division sewn up because Seattle cannot
pass them having been swept. What's interesting is the Bears.
So two weeks ago the Bears were I think the
one seed right then they lose and drop to seven.
Now they pingball act all the way back up to two. Okay,
that's a little crazy. They did look good against the
Browns and still but we should be surprised by that

(20:14):
the under cash that went easily. But Ram Seahawks really
feels like a big game. And here's the thing. Seattle
seems to be taking on water with every passing week.
I know we want to say, well, Donald, he's been
really good. Guys, we're talking about now essentially four games
in a row where Sam Darnald just has not been

(20:34):
good at all. Twenty two of thirty six. I know
the final numbers say two hundred and seventy one yards.
A lot of that was playing catchup. Teams have clearly
figured out what he does well. Donald's last so I
know the numbers say he was good against Atlanta, but
they had six points at halftime against Atlanta. Against Indy,

(20:57):
they couldn't do anything. Against Minnesota, it was the defense
that carried him. He did not look good against Tennessee.
The numbers were fine, but it was not one of
these like oh it's Tennessee, Like who doesn't carve up Tennessee.
And then before that was before Gay four pick clunker
against the Rams. So we're on now like a five
game stretch where there's been like no consistency from Darnald,

(21:20):
and I think at this point we got a wonder
like what do we see last year in Minnesota amazing
regular season and then either the schemes and what they
want to do is figured out late in the season
and Donald struggled or something else. He's running out of gas.
I don't know how to answer it. He just doesn't
look like the confident stud quarterback that he was earlier

(21:44):
in the season. JSN had a good game, but they
barely get by and I'm talking barely squeak by a
bad Colts team. By the way, Jets fans have to
be loving, absolutely loving this Colts collapse. I know you guys,
everybody else can talk about Philip Rivers. I didn't love
the story as much. I know you know. The reason
the media loves the story is because the guys writing

(22:05):
and covering the NFL are all old, out of shape
guys and so well, not all obviously, but many of
them are. So when they see a guy come off
the couch, Philip Rivers, forty four years old, and he's
slinging it and nearly pulling off the wind, everybody's excited, like,
oh my gosh. I look at it differently, and I say,
what kind of indictment is it of the quarterback development

(22:26):
in the NFL that no young quarterbacks are breaking through
right except for the obvious ones, But like, where are
the third, fourth, fifth round picks who are like getting
quarterback development, improving and then become a starter. Where is that.
It's just not happening. But what we get is Philip Rivers,
who's forty four years old and hasn't played him five years,
coming in and throwing everything within like a I don't know,

(22:50):
five six yard range. I mean he didn't. I was
looking at his spray chart. He's not throwing the ball
down the field. Seattle knew what was coming and still
couldn't really stop it. I mean, they did a fine
job of stopping it, I guess, but their offense struggled.
So I don't know. I mean, I just I can't.
I can't get a good read on the Seattle team
down the stretch. But my inclination is to take the

(23:11):
Rams Thursday. At least that's the early inclination. But we
gotta wait on DeVante Adams and see other injuries. The Colts,
by the way, their loss drops them to eight and six.
I think it's very clear four straight losses they ain't
going to the playoffs. The Jets own their pick, so
they're currently at eighteenth. A couple more losses and that

(23:33):
could be I mean, the Mahomes injury Gardner Minshew means
the Chiefs will probably be picking in the top ten.
So yeah, it would be awesome if the Jets could
get that pick as like thirteen fourteen, that would be incredible.
I don't know if it'll be that high. I do
want to wrap up with the Heisman real quick before

(23:54):
we get to the best bet. So I didn't watch the ceremony,
you know, like, come on, it's holiday party time. I'm
not watching an uninteresting ceremony. But I did see the
video afterward, and I'll just say, this guy, the Fernando
Mendoza story is one of the best in sports this year.
I mean, it's Indiana. It's a guy who was at

(24:15):
Cal last year and nobody talked about him, and he
leads Indiana to an undefeated season, win's the Big Ten title,
with some clutch throws against the number one defense in
the country, win's the Heisman Trophy. I mean, how on
earth do we not love the Mendoza story. Guys, this
is incredible. And then he gives a speech and it's like,

(24:37):
you know, talking about his mom and then all this
nice stuff, and then I start seeing, oh, his mom's
in a wheelchair because she has ms and she's a
former college athlete, and you just get heartbroken reading this story,
and it's like, man, how can you not root for Mendoza.
I think that's the greatest story in sports this year.
I know some people say, well, okay, see, come on,

(24:59):
you gotta give it to Okay, come on, guys, are
you really are you following Mendoza in Indiana? Now here's
the weird thing. I think he's he's gonna be the
number one pick, slam dunk. Do you trade up for
Mendoza or not? Historically the numbers say you don't trade
up into like the top five because it's a huge cost.

(25:21):
And if you look at a lot of the number
and I did this coward, and I did this on air,
you can pop that. You can ask Chad Gibt, go ahead,
can you give me all the teams that have traded
up in the first round in the last twenty years
to draft the quarterback? Now, obviously, I gotta say Jackibt
does not nail every sports thing perfectly. So you've got
to do a couple iterations, like, they'll forget that Lamar

(25:43):
Jackson was a trade up in the first round. They'll
forget Patrick Maholmes was a trade up, so you have
to specify. Okay, top five, but you look at the
guys that were traded up for it's a lot of
not good results and you're giving up a lot of
draft capital. So I mean, as much as I like
this kid and want to root for him, I don't

(26:04):
know if I'm the Jets that I want to give
up all this future draft capital. All right, Jay, what's
the alternative? Well, that's the problem. It sounds it's starting
to sound like Dante Moore is not gonna come out
and nothing's definite yet. Leonora's Sellars from South Carolina is
going back to school and he needs to. He is
has all the tools, looks the part. He just he

(26:25):
just takes way too many sacks. I mean, he looks
like Caleb Williams last year as a rookie or Kayleb
Williams final year at USC. Like you can't. I'm glad
Sellers going back to school. The problem is, is South
Carolina gonna get any players because the offensive line is terrible,
and I just it's tough to see any quarterbacks being
a Jets guy, like, I'm not forcing a quarterback in

(26:47):
the top twenty, Like I like ty Simpson of Alabama,
I ain't taking him, guys, And I'm not taking him
in the top five or top ten. I don't think
I'm doing that. Can he be bon Nicks? I don't know.
Bonnicks had sixty starts? Like was it five or seasons?
I mean ty Sinson's a one year starter. I just
is I don't know, guys. I just it's gonna be

(27:10):
a long, fun process. In January, February, March, leading up
to the NFL Draft in April. A quick fun note,
So remember last week we bet Michigan basketball is a
huge favorite against Villanova, and it hit. They won by thirty.

(27:31):
So then they were playing Maryland and the lines a
little inflated, was seventeen and I'm just like, listen, I'm
taking Michigan in college basketball until they fail. Ten minutes left,
Michigan up like sixty four to sixty one, and I'm like, oh,
that's dead. I did I promise you. I did not
even look at the score. So then Sunday I go

(27:54):
to check the account and I see it hit and
I was like what, I go back Michigan and after
leading by three with ten minutes left, one on an
absolute heater and covers and wins by eighteen. Just an
unbelievable So I listen, We'll just do it for fun.
Michigan quickly googled your schedule. The Wolverine They're just they're
right now. They are incredible, and maybe they could take

(28:17):
some heat off the football program and the Sharon More story.
They obviously are, that's not a story that they want
to talk about. So let's see. Michigan's next game is,
oh damn. They don't play until next Sunday against LaSalle
and that's at home. So the spread is gonna be
in the twenties. But I'm gonna go ahead and take it,
just out of principle.

(28:59):
Here's your best half for tonight.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
I did draft Dolphins plus three and a half last week. Now,
the problem is it looks like it's three everywhere now
not as great. I saw the snow predictions and the
cold weather. I know something that we need to shelve
the these dumb Hey, the Dolphins can't play in cold weather.
Like maybe they lose, maybe they stick up the joint

(29:24):
and lose. But I did see Saturday night that the
Dolphins went to the stadium and we're practicing in the
snow under the lights in the colt to kind of
get acclimated. I guess the warm weather South Beach guys, Hey,
let's get there early, let's get you know, I like that.
Is it gonna work? Who the hell knows, But as
of now, I'm on Dolphins plus three and a half.

(29:45):
Do I like it at three? Not as much? I mean, hell,
you might as well take them on the money line,
right if you like him three and a half. I
don't like the three simply because there's a war where
they get blown out here now no teach J Watt, right,
no TJ Watt due to the collapse lung, which is
a little scary. But I would go Dolphins money line

(30:08):
or pay a little jus for the three and a half.
I don't love anything about this team, but they're playing
hard and this is more of a just a sell
on Pittsburgh and Aaron Rodgers. I did not look much
at this week's games. I did see Packers down to
one and a half point favorites on the road in Chicago.
I'm telling you right now, no Micah, no Watson. I

(30:30):
don't think I can bet them there. Patriots off the
loss have to go to Baltimore. Baltimore actually looked quite
good in a blanking of Joe Burrow in company. The
Chiefs are somehow three and a half point favorites at
the Titans. I think you could probably bet the Titans
to win that outright. The Chiefs have been eliminated. You

(30:51):
know how this team of front runners, which has been
in the playoffs forever, you know how they're going to react,
like where she Rice has got his bell rung badly
two weeks in a row. I don't see a scenario
where the Chiefs win this game. So I think if
you want to bet the Titans, go ahead and take
them on the money line right now, because it just
totally to me feels like the Chiefs are done. You

(31:13):
could just see it on the shoulders. Everybody went down,
pray it's Patrick Mahomes. He's out for the sea. It's over.
And I could see the Titans showing up big time here.
They were plucky against the Niners, didn't quite get it
done by the way. Niners five and a half point
favorites at Indy against Philip Rivers, Robert Salah and Blitz
and I there's something there for sure. The early line

(31:35):
on Oh, I'm not seeing Seahawks. I'm not seeing a
Seahawks rams line yet. Maybe they're waiting to find out
if Rivers is officially starting again. But Jacksonville getting three
at Denver, I don't know. I got in front of
Denver this weekend. I felt great for two and a
half quarters and then I didn't. So stand down for now.
Plenty more this week. Talk to you tomorrow.
