Speaker 1 (00:04):
Hello, this is Gonnaser's Corner. I'm Jordan Rich and today
we're talking wine with one of our best, Ken Hoggins
of kenswineguide dot com. Don't forget to sign up with
a free e newsletter with barbecuing underway, some barbecue wine suggestions.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
So we'll start with the Sonomas County aka Blue Labels
infandel from Sagacio. The price is right, it's in the
low twenties. They made a lot of it twenty twenty three.
Vintage is medium bodied, smooth and seamless. There's some spice,
black plum, and crazy flavors in their little BlackBerry tea
stony minerality. Closes with refined, dry and dusty tannins. It's
(00:37):
a crowd pleasing ninety one plus points infandel. And pick
your favorite burger recipe and you got a great.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Match with this guy, all right. The grill is hot.
Another wine suggestion for us.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
Yeah, we're gonna go with Marianna's non vintage. It's called
OvR Lot number seventy five. They made seventy five of these.
But this is the red blend from California. It's nineteen dollars,
so it's a great deal. They actually just came out
in four new OvR labels, but make sure you get
the Red Blend because that's the old standby. It's mainly's
Infidels seventy percent. It's got some sarran there, a little
(01:08):
splash of petite saran and a few other grapes. Medium bodied,
balanced around, very easy to drink. Everybody's gonna like it.
Black plum and tobacco flavors, a little pomegranate and mulong
tea in there. It's got some dry and dusty tannents
sticking around for quite some time in the finish. Any
grilled meat you pull them off the grill this weekend,
it's going to go with this one.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Well. Barbecue fans are happy. Thank you for the info.
