Welcome to connod Shou's Corner. I'm Jordan Rich and what
a pleasure it is to introduce you to some of
Boston's finest restaurant tours. Today we meet Luis the Garrick
now he owns the wonderful Petibro Bear Bistro Battlefol in Cambridge.
In a relatively new restaurant, Cafe Saint Germain at one
eighteen Beacon Street in Somerville. Friends and I have discovered
this touch of Paris in Somerville. Enjoy it very much.

(00:25):
It's a bakery in the morning and a restaurant with
a full menu of excellent French cuisine till ten pm
every night. The week talks about how it all.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Came to be. So we opened a three years ago
and the idea when I first opened was to coud
for the other restaurants I have in the city. And
it was so big. I turned into a baker and
we started baking on bread. Fine was in pastry and
all that goodies. Not even six months I realized expensive
and how it is to be a baker.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Right.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
It was a lot of work. You need a lot
of space, a lot of talent. So we skelled scale
them on the production and we turned this place into
a BSTRO.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Cafe Saint Germain is a full liquor license, a terrific
selection of wines. It's a great place for a party.
They offer catering and it's really a lot of fun.
As I say, you feel like you're in a comfortable
Paris bistro. More were the owner coming up the website
