Hey, Jordan Rich here with Connos Ruth's Corner exploring new
restaurants in and around the city, and I just discovered
one in Brookline that just opened about a month ago.
It's Caprico Colombian Steakhouse sixteen twenty seven Beacon Street, Brookline.
Had a fabulous meal there and chef owner Andreas talks
about the cuisine with the lovely hostess Helen serving as
interpreter me Staria.

So the story started with my wife and I that
we both worked at a steakhouse and we wanted to
have our own steakhouse.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Quite a varied menu, wood fired porterhouse, New York strips
at ay downs, filet mignon, seafood and chicken dishes as well,
all prepared Colombian styles, and we did a fusion.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
We did have some of our plates that are Colombian
and then we mix that with you know, the culture
here in America, which is the steakhouse culture.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Yes, suitable for conversation, not too loud, warm, cozy, and
very welcome.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
So the yes that they were.

Speaker 5 (00:56):
Looking to achieve is family styles. If you would want
to stay in therect re strant and not want to leave,
but not just for our guests, but also for our staff.
We want them to feel at home. We'll come and
want to stay here longer.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
So this is why the name Caprico came about. Which Caprico,
it's another work for like craving, like I really got
to have it.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
That's what you know.
