Welcome to Connoisseur's Going Arou'm Jordan Rich. Joining me is
Matt Robinson. He's our food reporter extraordinaire Matt's Meals maatts
dash meals dot com. You also do an author series
where you interview authors. I've been one of your interview ease.
One of them is coming up with Genie Gruber, who's
a terrific lady. That'll be on October twenty third.

Yeah, it's called The Writer's Block and it's a nationally
syndicated show and developing into a podcast that's based out
of the Needhum channels. And recently my friends at the
Boston Public Market invited me to bring some food related
authors to their venue. The next one is October twenty
third with as You said, Genie Gruber. Genie is the
founder of Wish Dish, an organization where she visits homeless shelters,

including Common Cathedral in Boston's Back Bay, talks to the
people there about the dishes they wish they could enjoy again,
and then cooks them for the entire community. She's been
bankrolling it and cooking the food herself for the past
five years, but has finally released a cookbook featuring not
only amazing recipes, but incredible stories from the people she's

met along the way. And we're going to be selling
the cookbook and talking about the cookbook at the Boston
Public Market event. So I'm hoping that a lot of
people will come, support the organization and get to know Genie.
She's an amazing woman. So it's October twenty third at
