Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, diff friends, Welcome to another edition of Connoisseur's Corner.
This is Jordan Rich. Today we're talking about wine with
one of our good friends, Ken Hoggins of Ken'swineguide dot Com.
With Easter upon us, let's talk some white wines to recommend.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, Jordan, you know, strange fact, the week leading up
to Easter is one of Ken's Wine Guide's websites busiest
traffic weeks of the year. So although that seems odd,
it sounds like we drink a lot of wine over
the Easter weekend. So here are two white wines that
are big winners. First offering is a twenty twenty three
Dry Creek Dry Shinnon Blanc for eighteen dollars or less.
Scored at ninety one points. It's medium bodied, smooth, slightly viscous,

(00:38):
fresh and mouthwatering. It's got some tasty peach and tonic
water flavors in there, little lemon verbena and quints finishes
dry its flavors in the city linger nice, have nice,
long length, very food friendly, a good value, and I'd
have that with a baked halibit with a lemon garlic butter.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Of course you wouldn't. I bet you have a second choice.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah, we're going to do a chardonnay from Argentina Vinacobos
Felino twenty twenty three. It's about twenty two dollars or less,
scored at ninety points, medium bodied, round, bright, fresh for
a shard perfect for a spring day lightmere lemon, pineapple,
little green apple and almond in there finish the dry
flavors of city drift away nicely. Chicken Fransea serve these

(01:19):
both slightly chilled and be perfect to have with good
friends and family over the Easter weekend.
