Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, differends. Welcome. I'm Jordan Rich. This is Connesshu's Corner.

It's terrific. Let's do something terrific for Father's Day. Some suggestions.
Speaker 2 (00:17):
I'm going to give you a couple of ninety five
point gift wines to give your dad in your life,
and I'm going to keep the price under one hundred dollars.
The first one is a top shelf wine from Italy.
It goes for seventy one dollars. It's Guidoberto. It's the
second wine from Tunuda San Guido. They also produce the
legendary wine called Sassakaya. Sometimes this is called the Little
(00:39):
Brother because it comes from some of their younger vines.
But the twenty twenty two vintage is the best version
of this wine. I've covered its full body, nicely balanced,
very smooth and seamless, but yet it's got some robustness
to it, some BlackBerry and cedar flavors in their graphite
and cherry. Everything you really want if you're cooking a
nice brilled hangar steak for dad, this is a perfect match.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
How about a second choice for all the great dads
out there.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, well, the next one's going to be a cabernet
that blew away the tasting panel and myself. The twenty
twenty one Mirriam Vineyards Rock Pile.
Speaker 3 (01:08):
That's a region in California that makes some really really
good zins and really really good cabs.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Eighty dollars ninety five points. It's a big boy, full body, balanced,
smooth and dense, concentrated boysonberry and tobacco flavors. They're a
little stony minerality and black plump. Dad could put this
in the cellar, or you can decant it and put
it with a well marbled rabbi.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
All right, thank you. Ken Hoggins all part of Connoisseur's
