Speaker 1 (00:03):
This is Connosur's corner. I'm Jordan Rich. Great recipes from
a wonderful friend of ours and a terrific contributor, Mona
dogof from her kitchen. Mona is the author of Satisfy
and Satisfy, among other cookbooks. Let's talk steak. We haven't
done that in a while. Southwestern grilled steak. Yes.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
I try to do steak maybe once during the summer.
I always go make sure that I have the healthiest steak.
So the best part of this recipe is a dressing,
of course that goes with it. And what we're going to
learn how to do is first have a grilled steak
and then how to make the Salantro lime dressing. So
what you're going to do is season ten to twelve
ounces of lean top sirloin steak with salt and pepper.

(00:39):
Try to use grass fed and brush lightly with avocado oil.
Grill on each side for forty six minutes on medium
until the meat thermometer reaches one hundred and thirty five
for medium rare, one hundred and forty for medium or
one hundred and fifty for medium weld. So for the dressing,
which is my favorite part, you're going to combine the
following ingredients and then drizzle it over the steak and
any veggies that you choose to help with your steak.

(01:01):
So the dressing is one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil,
a third of a cup of fresh cilanto, juice of
a lime, one tablespoon of dice red onion, a clove
of garlic minced, one and a half tablespoons of water,
one cheese spoon of honey. Put it in a personal
blender a little mini food processor until you get a
little like almost smooth texture, and then drizzle it over

(01:24):
the steak and you'll have the most amazing dinner.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I'm sure we will thanks to you, Mona. All part
