talking with Colleen Norvae with Harbor Sweets located in Salem.
Of course, they got that great factory up there making
delicious chocolates and calling. For those who don't know, there's
something new and spectacular at Copley Place, downtown Boston. Tell
us about it.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
We just opened on September first, our first physical boat
at Compley Place Mall.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
It is an actual boat. It has a bow and
a stern. The center of it is used for our
decadent chocolates for people to purchase, as.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Well as a candy wall.
Speaker 3 (00:36):
There is an antique thirty four foot mass going up
to the ceiling at Copley Place, adorned by real sails,
real sales on our ship.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
It makes sense since you're the home of the Sloop
right exactly.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
So the boat was designed off of our number one chocolate,
the Sweet Sloop, which has been.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Our number one candy since nineteen seventy three.
Speaker 1 (01:01):
I always love talking to you, Colleen, and it's really
nice to know that this continues to be a woman
run business.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Absolutely, we are a woman run business. A great team
of people with great camaraderie. They'll love coming to work
making chocolate every day.
