Welcome to Connoisseur's Corner. This is Jordan Rich when it
comes to ice cream. New England is the capital of
the world, and one of the best ice cream establishments
in the Boston area is JP Lix with sixteen locations,
originating of course in Jamaica. Plane. I've got John Vega
with me from JP and John first in observation, the
ice cream is amazing at JP Licks. Why do you

think that is?

Honestly, it's the love and creativity that we put into
every flavor that we do, you know, and it kind
of starts with myself and my team, and that kind
of really what sets us apart being there for the community.
Knowing that, you know, it's more like a home, not
just for myself but also for the community and the customers.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Where do you source the stuff that makes the ice
cream taste so good?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Oh, we source it from a little bit of everywhere.
You know. We get our dairy from New Hampshire, you know,
get our chocolate from different distributors around the Boston area.
It is tough sometimes we've had to discontinue certain things
because the prices of things skyrocketing. The price of chocolate
and Cocoa to make sure we're still serving great quality
ice cream.
