Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hey, welcome, it's connoisseurs going aro. I'm Jordan Rich and
we have Mona dogf on the line with a creator
of several amazing cookbooks. And you know, football fans everywhere,
especially with the Patriots doing so well, love chicken wings.
And you've got a maple mustard game day wing recipe
that's to die for.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
I've got the perfect winning recipe for those Patriots. Let's go.
So we're going to start by padding two pounds of
chicken wings really dry, and that's the key to gold
and crispy skin in the oven. You place them on
a foil lined sheep pan with a rack on top,
give them a light spray of olive oil and seasoned
with salt, black pepper, a little garlic powder, and if
you want extra color and flavor, a pinch of smoke
(00:40):
pepri gut. You bake at four twenty five for about
twenty minutes, flipped and baked for another ten to fifteen
minutes until they're beautifully browned and cooked to about one
sixty five. While they're sizzling, you whisk up the star
of the show, the glaze. You're going to make a
quarter cup of pure maple syrup, two tablespoons of dijean,
one tablespoon of applesy vinegar, and it's you need pinch
(01:00):
of crust of pepper for the game daykick. When the
wings are done, brush with that maple mustard goodness and
broil for two to three minutes more to caramelize. Then
toss in the rest of the glaze and get ready
for your applause. These wings are baked, not fried, so
they've got less fat, plenty of protein, and so much flavor.
You're we're all going to score big points, not only
for the game, but with your crew too, So grab
(01:22):
some napkins, cheer allowed, and let's serve up a healthier
win this weekend. What do you say?
Speaker 1 (01:26):
I say, touchdown? Thank you so much. Mona Dohlgoff joining
